Introduction to the snow

Summary:

T.k. Has a dream

Work Text:

Alone

There he stand, in the same place it all started, the same apartments, the same bridge, the same untouched ground of the bird and the lizard

At the edge of the universe humming a tune

The snow blows hard, he ignores it, he can’t feel it, this is all a dream

He can see it all again, the fight, he can hear it to, he can hear the deafening whistle blow as the lizard strikes once more

He’s scared, he’s only 12 and yet he is to remember the event in which for years he was convinced was just a made up story by his mind

With sparkling crystal souls aglow

In the distance of the cold he can see a figure, the silhouette is hard to make out, in his mind it changes, from Kari, to Matt, to tai, and to Matt again

Apart of thee in the key of what we know to be every part without me, knows only two can make it light

Finally when the figure shows, it is still unrecognizable, he cannot tell what stand before him

You’ll live forever tonight..”

and then he woke up, soft breaths of the friends by him filling the room, he feels safe, he feels content, and yet he can no longer bring himself to sleep.

a Lonley 12 year old sitting up in a sleeping bag on the floor with his many other friends, and the deadly delusion of a confusing, unrecognizable, and utterly confusing figure
