Chapter Text

It was 3am, i couldn't sleep. I was thinking. About Wilbur, me and Will had been friends since we were 14 and i had just moved to Brighton with my family, he was the first friend i made there, and for a while, also my only friend. We got to know eachother pretty quickly, and realised how alike we were, i guess i've always kinda had a thing for him, i've just been too afraid to ever tell him. Afraid that he wouldn't feel the same and i'd end up looking like an idiot.

i decided to shoot him a text to see if he was still up. i hesitated for a bit since i didn't even know what i wanted to tell him.                                                                          y/n

i just cant really sleep

*about 6 minutes later* 

i heard a knock at my door, so i went over and opened it, and there stood a tall brown-haired dude AKA Will, god was he pretty, i've never seen anyone like him, tall, dark-haired, good fashion sense, beautiful brown eyes i could easily get lost in, and god was he handsome, he had such soft facial features, his skin always so smooth and just overall really nice looking. 

"Hey Will!" i said, full of excitment, really happy to see him. "Hi y/n" He said, and smiled at me, pulling me into a warm hug. We let go after a few seconds, and i let him in, we went and sat on the sofa.

"Sorry for inviting you over at this hour, i just really can't sleep" 

"It's alright y/nn, don't worry about it, i also wouldn't have come if i didn't want to, but what's been bothering you so much that you can't sleep?"

"I've just not been able to stop thinking" 

"Oh yeah? About what? I mean, what thougts are keeping you awake for this long, i'm getting kinda worried about you y/nn" He said, sounding as caring and sweet as ever.

"I don't really know if i wanna talk about it, if that's alright, maybe later? or some other day?" I said, not knowing wether or not to confess my feelings for him. 

"Of course y/n, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to"  

"Anyway, do you wanna watch a movie?" i said, ready to suggest we watch a Studio Ghibli movie. 

"Sure! you pick" he said, leaning slightly closer to me.  

"Alright, let's watch Howl's Moving Castle then" i said, putting on the movie, talking to Will was so comforting, I couldn't explain the butterflies i got whenever he was being overly nice to me. 

*about 20 minutes later* 

I was starting to get really tired, and i think Wilbur could tell because he started moving closer and somehow we were suddenly lying down, my head on his chest, it felt weird, considering we've never done that, but also because we've been friends for so long, but there was just something about it that felt so right, it was really warm and just overall very nice. 

i fell asleep short after, the last thing i heard being "Goodnight y/n" 

Chapter Text

I woke up. all alone. again... that was until i heard someone making noise in the kitchen, i checked the time on my phone; 9:12am, i got up and went to check what it could be, when i got there, i saw Will, he was making pancakes, i don't think he noticed me since he was stood with his back facing me. I made my way to the bathroom, to get ready for the day, i had no initial plans, so i didn't make much out of myself. Still wearing my clothes from yesterday, i went into the kitchen to say goodmorning to Will. 

"Goodmorning Will" i said while entering. 

"Oh! Goodmorning y/n, i'm making pancakes for us" he said with a smile on his face, the one i loved so much. i smiled back at him. 

"Lovely, i'm gonna go put on some new clothes rq" i said, leaving the kitchen and going to my bedroom, opening my closet and pulling out a pair of blue mom-jeans, watermelon socks and my Doomed Los Campesinos! jumper.

Me and Will had gotten matching ones a few years back, we were at a Los Campesinos! concert and decided to get matching jumpers right before the show started. I also decided to wear my green Converse with the outfit, i put on a green aventurine necklace, a few rings and bracelets, and put my hair up in a quick ponytail. I went back out and saw that Will was done making pancakes and had set up the table, i greeted him with a smile, and we both sat down to eat our pancakes. 

"y/n, i was wondering if you wanted to just hang out around the city later today, and you know go shopping or get coffee?" 

"Sure! Sounds fun Will" i said, smiling at him, him smiling back. 

We ate the rest of our pancakes and put the dishes in the sink, "Thanks for making us pancakes Will" 

"You're very welcome, y/n" 

it was around 11:15am now

"y/n, is it alright if we drive back to mine so i can get ready and then we can head to central Brighton?" 

"Sure! When do we leave?" 

"Whenever you want, tbh i don't mind" 

"Alright, let's get ready now, then we can be there around 12, yeah?" i said, making eye contact with him. God those eyes. He's so wonderful. 

We put our shoes and jackets on, considering it was the middle of winter, which also means that my birthday is soon. January 26th. 

We walked back to Will's apartment, when we got there i sat on the sofa and waited for him to get ready. 

it was now 11:40

Will came out from his bathroom, "Okay, i'm ready, lets go" he said, sweetly smiling at me, and we left.

The walk was only about 15 minutes long, so we were there at 11:57. "Where do you wanna go first?" Will said, looking at the shops around us. 

"How about Barnes & Noble?" i asked, "Sure" he replied. We went into Barnes & Noble and i bought all three Magnus Chase books, i've never read them, but i'm a pretty big fan of Rick Riordan's other books, so i was sure they were gonna live up to my standards. 

We went around a bunch of other shops, and about two hours after arriving, we went to a cat café, considering we both love cats. Will ordered a machiatto, and two cookies, and i ordered an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. About 10 minutes passed by and we got our order, Will gave me one of the cookies he ordered, and we pet the cats and drank our coffee. 

it was now 3:07pm

We had left the café, and Will had followed me home and i hugged him goodbye. 

I got into my apartment, and went to my pc to watch some youtube, i decided on watching Markiplier. A few hours passed of me watching youtube, and it was now 6pm, i wasn't really that hungry so i just had some ramen and watched a few episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I then decided on watching Hamilton. 

it was now 10:45pm

I decided on going to bed since i was really tired, i texted Will first tho.                                                                                                                                                           y/n

Chapter Text

I woke up, still exhausted from being out yesterday, it was 8:15am, i liked waking up early on the days i have nothing to do on, because it just means more me time. i got up and decided to take a hot shower to kinda wake up. i took two towels from the drawer, one for my hair and one for my body.

I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair, since no one enjoys washing tangly hair, i connected my phone to my speaker because who doesn't enjoy listening to music in the shower. I turned on the warm water and turned on the music, the first song playing being "A Heat Rash in the Shape of the Show Me State; or, Letters from Me to Charlotte" by Los Campesinos!, this song was my favorite since it meant a lot to me, i had moved to Brighton from London when i was 14, one day i was sitting on the train to London, on my way to visit a friend. I was seated next to a curly dark-haired guy, who seemed to be only a bit taller than me, and i couldn't help but notice that this was the song he was listening to, you could roughly hear it through his headphones.

I tapped on his shoulder and said "Oh i love Los Campesinos!, i don't know many that listen to them" and the guy replied "Yeah, they're one of my favorite bands", and we kind of just kept on talking for a while and realised how much alike we were, when the train stopped at London, being the last stop, we got up from our seats and i asked him his name, and we planned on hanging out the next day, we planned a meeting place and time, since we were both staying in London for a few days. That was how i met Will, my best friend of all time. 

I finally got out of the shower and planned my outfit, black shorts, black crop top and a black zip-up hoodie. Heart-shaped necklace and earrings, and silver bracelet, and of course to top it all off, my green Converse, i decided on not putting my hair up today since i wasn't planning on going anywhere, which is also why i put on shorts and not jeans. 

it was now 9:21am

i poured myself some cereal and began eating, while watching Game Theory's video on Wilbur's ARG, i liked watching Matpat because of all the strange theories he came up with, because sure, they were strange, but he somehow made them make sense, and i just found that kinda fascinating. I finished my cereal and went into my bathroom to brush my teeth. 

i decided to go on just a small walk to get some fresh air and some coffee. I put on my jacket, just to realise that it was quite hot out, considering it was winter. I went back inside to take off my jacket and then made my way to Nelle's, a local coffee shop, i went into the coffee shop and ordered Nelle's Cold Brew, which was 5 pounds, i then left to go back home. 

it was now 10:14am

I had made my way back home, and took off my shoes. I impulsively decided i wanted to stream, i hadn't streamed in a while, since i don't have a schedule and hasn't felt motivated lately, but i just suddenly felt the urge to stream. 

I decided i wanted to stream Stardew Valley and just talk to chat for a bit. 

'STARDEW VALLEY AND THEN WE CHAT' i sent out the notification and started stream. 

"HELLO CHAT!" i said with happines in my voice, excited to stream again. 

"Today we're playing Stardew Valley and then we're gonna be chatting for a bit and talk about what i've been doing for the past few days" I said, starting up the game. I played and just talked to chat for about an hour and decided it was just chatting time. I talked to chat and a bit after, Will joined the call, so we just sat and chatted and made bad inside jokes for a bit. 

it was now 1:17pm

I had just ended stream and sat and just talked to Wilbur for a while, talking about video ideas, stream ideas, old memories etc, then Tommy joined the call to ask if i wanted to be in his next vlog, that he was planning on filming friday (it was wednesday), and i agreed to be in his vlog, he said that we were just gonna go to London and have some fun, and agreed that me and Will would be meeting him there at around 1pm. After that we kept on talking for a bit and then Tommy left. 

I was alone with Will again, which of course wasn't a big deal since we often hung out alone, so i don't know why i was getting nervous. 

Wilbur turned on his facecam to show me the new shirt he got. FUCK HE WAS FINE. NO WONDER I'VE BEEN LIKING HIM FOR SO LONG. I told him it was a cool shirt and that it looked good on him, not meaning to sound like i was flirting with him. "Oh, you think so? you think i look good?" he said, acting like he had caught me slipping, "Well yeah, i'm not gonna sit here and lie to you, Will" i replied, "Oh so you do think i'm attractive" he replied and i started blushing.

"Well that's not what i said, but alright" i said, both of us laughing a bit. We said our goodbyes, and left the call. I checked the time, it was 2:43pm. 

I decided on just playing on my solo survival Minecraft world for a bit. 

I realised it was the 23rd of January, meaning it was my birthday on saturday, i don't usually do anything on my birthday, but my parents and Will, still enjoyed giving me presents and coming over for a cup of coffee for about two hours, and i wasn't expecting this year to be any different. Except for the fact that my parents weren't gonna be visiting this year since they were out of the country.

it was now 6:47pm 

I was hungry and decided that it was dinner time, i ordered a pizza and ate it while watching some shitty reality show. 

it was about 11:49pm now

I decided to go to bed, i went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, cleanse and moisturise my skin. I got in my PJ's and went to bed, just scrolling on my phone for a bit. I was about to put down my phone and turn off the lights, when Wilbur decided to FaceTime me, we just talked for a bit and we both eventually fell asleep on the phone.

Chapter Text

I woke up, still on the FT with Will, him just laying there, waiting for me to wake up so that he could say goodmorning and goodbye. 

"You're awake, AYYYYY, goodmorning y/n" he said, smiling and slightly laughing. How i adored his smile, and his laugh was so goddamn contagious. 

"Goodmorning Will" i replied, yawning and smiling at the same time. We said our goodbyes, and hung up. 

I got out of my bed, not feeling like doing much today. I got out of my PJ's and put on a simple pair of jeans, and a hoodie that Will left, that i just haven't given him back, he must've forgotten about it now. I brushed my hair and teeth, and decided to watch Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, one of my all-time favorite movies. 

Timeskip to Friday morning.

it was 10:54am when i woke up, i got out of my Pj's, did my usual morning routine, before picking out an outfit: a greyish black pair of ripped jeans, a white Delta Sleep tshirt, with a black longsleeve underneath, just because it was cold out, and it was the day of filming a new Tom Simons vlog, i wasn't sure who was coming, except for me and Will, but i was excited either way, i put on my green butterfly earring, heartshaped green aventurine necklace, a few rings and bracelets.

I went to the kitchen to get myself some cereal, since i wasn't really super hungry, i ate and watced YouTube. 

I finished, put on my green Converse, and Green winter jacket. I left my house at 11:40, me and Will's train left at 12:05, so we would be there around 13:15.

We both agreed to meeting at the station, but i left my house early to get a coffee first, so i did that and was headed towards the station. I got there and immediately noticed Wilbur, considering he was taller  than most people there.

I waved at him, trying to get his attention as he was looking in another direction, he quickly noticed me, and waved back at me, smiling. I ran over to him, and we hugged for a few seconds and entered the train, trying to find our seats.

We eventually found them, and sat down, me at the window seat and Will right next to me. The train started moving, and i put in my earbuds, but turned them down so that i could still talk to Will, i noticed that the first song playing was 'Lovers Rock' by TV Girl, one of my favorites at the moment. 

Me and Will talked about a bunch of stuff, including me being excited for the vlog, we planned on going home in the afternoon, after eating dinner. 

it was now 1:10pm

The train stopped and me and Will got up from our seats, and out of the train to Tommy waiting for us. Tommy told us his idea for his vlog. A trampoline park with me, Will and Toby, i was excited, but we decided to meet up with Toby and go get lunch first. We had decided to go to a sandwhich bar. 

After we ate, we were headed to the trampoline park. It was a 15 minute walk, and we were there at 13:54, we had the trampoline park all to ourselves, i was really excited and almost jumping because of it. I was also excited since i had never met Toby, but we seemed to be getting along quite well at the sandwhich bar. Toby was really funny, but quite unexpecting. They let us inside, and Tommy started doing in his intro thing. 

it was now 3:32pm 

Tommy had ended his vlog, and we were leaving the trampoline park and went to hang out in London. We went to a few shops, we sat down at a café, the first thing i noticed was that they were playing 'I Almost Do' which is my favorite Taylor Swift song, it's just too good. We sat down and ordered our drinks, and just sat and chatted for a bit, which was quite fun.

We finished our drinks and Will suggested we go visit Jack Manifold, and we agreed to do that. I have only met Jack a few times, but we usually get along pretty well. We took a bus to his house. We were there at about 5pm. Tommy knocked on Jack's door, he opnened the door, and greeted us, letting us in. We hung out and watched some TV, and about 6:17pm we decided that we were hungry, so Jack ordered Domino's. After about 30 minutes, the food arrived and we ate and kept on chatting. 

At 7:16pm me and Will decided it was time for us to go back to Brighton. We said goodbye to everyone and went to the nearest bus stop and sat down, waiting for the bus. After about 5 minutes, the bus arrived and took us to the station. Luckily there was a train going to Brigton leaving in 15 minutes. We entered the train and found our seats and sat down. I was pretty tired, and laid my head on Will's shoulder and quickly fell asleep.

I woke up about 5 minutes before arriving at the station. I removed my head from his shoulder and looked at him, smiling, him smiling back to me, asking if i slept well. "Yep", I said, smiling and slightly laughing at him. We kept on talking for a bit, then the train stopped at Brigton Station, and we got up from our seats and exited the train. 

It was about 9pm when we got out of the train, Will lived quite close to the station and i was too tired to walk or take the bus home, so we agreed that i would just sleep at Will's. It wasn't a big thing, i had slept at his house before, so i have no idea why i got kinda nervous about it. 

It was only a 5 minute walk, we got into his house, and took off our jackets and shoes. We decided on watching a movie. Will suggested we watch Bo Burnham's 'What', since we both like Bo Burnham. 

The movie ended and we decided to go to sleep. I went to the bathroom to cleanse and moisturize my skin, brush my teeth and brush my hair. I then realised that i don't have any clothes to sleep in, so i asked Will to borrow a t-shirt of his and he let me. I went to go to sleep on the sofa, when Will said "You can come sleep in my bed if you want, the sofa can be quite uncomfortable to sleep on for multiple hours", "Thanks" i said, smiling at him, i then went and laid in his bed, while he went to the bathroom. 

He came back, wearing a pair of sweatpants. That was it. God was he toned as shit. Wow. I think he noticed me staring a bit, but he ignored it and came laying next to me. I turned so that we wold face eachother, and then said goodnight. 

Safe to say i fell asleep in his arms.

Hello everyone readig this! 

First of all, i hope you're all having a good day.

Second of all i want to apologise for not oploading new chapters, there's probably no one who cares about this, but i wanted to apologise anyway.

I've been really busy lately, and my mental health hasn't been too good, i've been trying to write a new chapter for a while, but i've kept getting distracted.

i might rewrite the new chapter, since i think i moved the plot a bit too quickly.

i just want you to know that i'm trying my very best to write new chapters for everyone. 

I'm again very sorry for not oploading and i hope to be forgiven, i will start writing more on the chapter today and next week.

Chapter Text

I woke up, all alone, i checked the time, it was 11:02am I didn't know if Will had gone home or not, but i decided to quickly put on my outfit for the day. I decided on an oversized brown sweater that i had gotten at a thrift store a  few months ago, a blueish grey plaid skirt, some basic tights since it wasn't the warmest and loads of silver rings, a crystal necklace, some cross earrings and a few self-made friendship bracelets even tho i didn't have anyone to give it to, except for one pair that i had shared with Will that he always wore in his left wrist.

I walked out to the kitchen to grab something to eat, and surely enough, there he was, he was standing leaning against the counter. "good morning y/nn" he said with a sweet, but tired smile. I smiled back at him and said "morning Wilbur". We stood in silence for a bit while i was making coffee, a comfortable silence. Then he spoke up, "i know it's your birthday, don't worry, i didn't forget" 

"but you'll have to wait for later until you get your gift" he said. 

"well now i'm very excited Wilbur" i said back at him.

We just acted like nothing had happened, like yesterday didn't exist.  

He then asked me what i wanted to do today since it was my birthday and neither of us had any plans. 

We soon decided on taking a walk through Brighton and maybe stop for some coffee at a local café, probably Nelle's again. 

We left at about 12pm. 

We were back at around 2:43pm. I had a really good time, and i think Wilbur did as well. 

"Okay, so it's your birthday, I have booked a table at a restaurant. I'm gonna head home, we're both gonna get ready and i'll pick you up at 6." Will said suddenly. 

"Aaaahh, okay!! I'm very excited!!" I said, big smile on my face. He then gave me a warm hug and left.

Will is one of, if not my only friend, and has been for a while. I never had many friends and i'm so grateful for Will. He's always been there for me, and I've always tried to be there for him as well. I am so sure i have feelings for him, but do i take the risk and possibly ruin our friendship? No, absolutely not. Not anytime soon at least. 

After Will had left i decided to take a long warm shower. I hadn't had this long of a shower in a while. When i got out of the shower it was 4pm, i had been in the shower for a little over an hour.

I quickly dried my hair and started to actually get ready. Skincare first, then i decided on an outfit, a black crop-top, baggy slightly ripped jeans, a knitted green plaid cardigan, a handbag, and for shoes i went with my usual green high-top Converse. I then did my makeup, just casual makeup with a little bit of eyeliner. For my hair i decided to straighten my hair, since i thought it would go best with the outfit. I picked out a few silver rings, a silver heart necklace and me and Will's friendship bracelet. 

When i was done it was 5:20pm, so i decided to sit in the living room and watch a bit of "Adventure Time". 

I heard my doorbell ring, so i quickly turned off the TV and headed for the door, and there Will was, he was wearing a black turtleneck, slightly loose light brown cuffed jeans, normal black socks, some black Doc Martens and a dark brown trench-coat. He looked good. He had a bouquet of pink tulips.

"WILL!!" I was nearly yelling of excitement. 

"Y/NN!" He nearly yelled back. We then did a quick hug and he spoke, "Oh! These are for you by the way",he then handed the flowers to me, slightly awkward smile on his face. 

"Aww Will, these are so pretty" I said smiling brightly at him, while quickly getting a vase and filling it with water for the flowers. I sat them on my dining table, so that i could show them off if anyone came by. 

We both then got in his car and drove off. 

We soon arrived (6:20pm) at a cute fancy sushi restaurant on the outskirts of Brighton. We walked in and were quickly seated and looked on the menu. 

We ordered our food and drinks and started chatting like we usually do. Some time passed and we got our food and began eating, we had also ordered wine for after the sushi. We just kept chatting and laughing, i thanked Will for taking me out to eat and for the flowers. We talked for what felt like ages, but it was suddenly 9pm and we decided to pay and leave, Will was the one paying, because he was the one who invited me out, but i still felt a bit bad for letting him pay. 

We then got in the car and drove off, we agreed on a walk to the beach so we drove there. 

We got to the beach at 9:17pm. 

We were casually just walking, chatting and enjoying the beach.

We had been there for about an hour, when we decided to leave.

We got back to mine at 10:37pm. 

We said our goodbyes and i headed inside. I quickly got ready for bed. I went to bed and smiled to myself as i thought about today. I quickly fell asleep.
