Chapter Text

Blistl and Flint were just duking it out like normal, they'd been in this situation before, Blistl Dream Nails the both of them, go to a random world, do some property damage when the meet, rinse and repeat. Why do they do this? You don't need to know, it honestly not that bad, the two just don't talk about it, at all. But this world was different, it had more tech than the others, it felt... unique...

BOOM!

Not that there was much time, while basking in the sun light, they honestly had seen this thing in the corner of their eye and had just gotten used to it's presence, even if they had no idea what it was.

Blistl: Alright, we are about to land
Blistl: So have fun

Oh yeah they are about 45 meters above the sky, usually it's triple that, guess they got lucky, or unlucky really depends. Blistl used a lifeblood bug to coat their feet, canceling the damage if they should fall, meanwhile Flint landed in a noise of anti-sound as void coat feet landed. They were on some sort a tram

Sundowner: no, no I'm curious

The two waiting for Raiden, just watched the two fight, the who world wasn't even existent to them, they just seemed to fight all the time. They moved like they knew each other. But still kept each other on their toes

BOOM!

Blistl began rapid firing vengful spirits, Flint did some shade dashing and rolling around. Flint then ran up the side of the cliff and ran along side the train for a few seconds, only to meet Blistl with Descending Dark

Blistl: Radiant Parry

Blistl then summoned their Dream Nail to parry, but before it could collide a slash from a blade nearly caught them, Blistl and Flint seeing that their fight was to be done some other time, immediately backed away

Flint: Wow you two were so insignificant, I didn't realize you existed
Sam: Cheap coming from you
Blistl: Cheap!?
Blistl: That's rich, where's your credential
Sundowner: That I'm doing for a business and I need a way to jump start it
Flint: huh? great...
Blistl: Ah fuck...
Raiden: HEY YOU TWO!  

A Cyborg

Raiden: Are you two with them
Blistl: Why would we, those guys are dumb
Sam: I'm sorry, says the one with mask for a face
Flint: your literally a skeleton with a flesh suit
Flint: Me and my sibling having actual protection with our exoskeleton
Raiden: Put down the president, and ENOUGH of this

Suddenly the two Vessel's mode changed from aloof to serious "president". While not oblivious to other worlds (sometimes paying for property damage is necessary). But president was another word for "leader", like their father. Even if their father was a questionable man, they knew one thing. Without the leader, shit goes down. Without even blinking the two Vessels put aside some issue for this time.

Raiden: I'll say it again... put him down
Sam: Or what
Raiden: Or I'll rip you up

Raiden dashed forward to Sam and a sword battle ensued

Sundowner: You going join you two?
Flint: Blistl, I'm going ahead
Blistl: Good idea, that nail is dangerous, it vibrates weirdly
Blistl: Most likely a way to cut things faster
Blistl: Thankfully, your Void Nail does similar with Void
Flint: Right, show this man hell

Flint shade dashed forward, Sundowner seeing a fight, activated his shields

Blistl: Great, a coward
Sundowner: You don't even have a weapon
Blistl: I don't need one for you

Blistl then summon a gold spell circle

Blistl: Radiant Light
Sundowner: TRY IT!

Blistl did and fired a beam of golden light at him, but his shields blocked all of it, WHAT THESE MADE OUT OF. Blistl hadn't seen a material like that before, Pale Ore? No there was no magic, before Blistl could question their mind further, Sundowner bashed them knocking him back

Blistl: Alright fair enough
Sundowner: I'M FUCKING INVINCABLE

Blistl gave a few seconds to think, they saw the sun, and saw it moving in the sky, their eye white pupils gave some thought

Blistl: Only... in one... direction though

Blistl then grabbed their Dream Nail teleporting behind Sundown to get a clean hit, but he then kicked Blistl back

Sundowner: Don't try that, not when many others did prior
Blistl: Fuck...
Blistl: Flames of Nightmare

Blistl summoned red flames and began to spam them causing the fire to ignite some... liquid

Blistl: Oh... this shit is flamable
Blistl: Natural Gas?

Blistl decided not to question it, they grabbed the president and went to jump out of the way, but they hit a tunnel

Blistl: You know... maybe Hallownest should consider living above ground, because that was inconvenient
Sundowner: Nowhere to run
Blistl: Who said anything about running

The president, who was still in shamble was dropped and Blistl then crushed another Lifeblood Bug and summoned a shield around the dude

Blistl: Why run when the target is here

MEANWHILE

Raiden was getting trashed on by Sam, the dude was far greater in skill than he thought, their eye was slashed, and it wasn't doing well, Flint came in though before a killing blow came in

Flint: Alright sorry to blow your party, but I need to blow this operation to bits
Sam: Damn your a persistent bug
Sam: You and the other one were having fun
Flint: Fun is a arbitrary term
Flint: Shall we
Raiden: I can fucking
Flint: Dude calm down, I doubt I could take this guy

Flint: Just wait until Blistl gets here, they can heal you

Flint then engaged in combat, clashing as the red and black blades met, both not gain an edge, but Sam smiled a shit eating grin

Sam: Your lack of a face

Sam then drop kicked Flint, then smashed their sword to the ground, only for it to catch fire. Flint's grey pupils widened

Flint was slashed straight across the chest, not even a good time to react to it, it just... happened

A vessel with a cyborg eye, and noticeable changes to their overall appearance came in

Circuit tossed Blistl towards the other two like a raggdoll, and Sundowner killed the president

Raiden: NO!

Raiden came in but, Sam just effortlessly slashed off his left arm and would've killed them right there, but a tank came in with a machine gun turret

Sundowner: You heard him, we did our job
Sam: Sorry you three, you just so insignificant I forgot we don't need you
Flint: Don't you fucking-
Sam: Bye!

Sam with the other two jumped onto a helicopter, Raiden was taken in, but he said "take those two as well" so why not comply with a dude with a fucking sword. Upon in the tank, Raiden was going to guy called "Docktor" who honestly reminded the Vessel of another person, they believe was called "monomon" apparently researching was a whole career in this world

Raiden: You mind telling me who you are?
Flint: I'm Flint and this is my sibling Blistl

Blistl was using focus on themself and Flint

Raiden: So you can just heal?
Flint: Not entirely, it require focus and is not an end all to all injuries
Flint: some things like a lost arm

Flint pointed to Raiden's convenient example

Flint: You have to kinda accept
Raiden: wait you don't have cybernetics
Blistl: Wait hold on... isn't that like the idea of artificial limb and what not

Blistl: I've looked at a few world that have similar stuff, though nothing on well his level

Blistl and Flint shrugged and said

Blistl shrugged it off though, they weren't entirely mad honestly

After that it was silence, but then Raiden asked another question

Flint: Literally two gods fucking... I wish I was fucking... but no it was two gods

Flint and Blistl shifted uneasily in the seat

Blistl watched as the machine whirred and remade Raidens body. Apparently the dude was something called a "cyborg", enhanced my machinery. Blistl remembered the time they visited Hallownest, after escaping the Abyss and fighting Flint there were times the two just went back, it was calming. Blistl remember how Trams were like the "trains" here, running on rails. He remembered how Flint went to the nail smith to reforge their nail, even mentioning that the guy told them about a bug that resembled Ghost, how both them missed their sibling. They couldn't forget the infected either, seeing people who believed they could be saved, now hurt by the thing they thought was gone.

Blistl: dammit...

Blistl shook their head, they were monologuing on failure again.

Courtney: Interesting right?
Blistl: Yeah... pretty much
Courtney: Was wondering, do you need anything upgraded?
Blistl: huh... let me think

Blistl rummaged around in their pocket dimension

Courtney: What the hell
Blistl: It's fucking magic, you humans can barely use it

Blistl then pulled out a rune

Blistl: here it is

Blistl ignited the blade, it had harsh golden glow

Courtney: What is that a lightsaber
Blistl: No, it's called a Dream Nail
Courtney: Right nail... you guys call it that
Courtney: Looks ancient, but really advanced at the same time
Blistl: Yeah I rarely use it, I'm actually terrible in sword play

Blistl then handed it to her

Blistl: If you find anyway I'm open to it
Courtney: What are you good at if your bad at using a sword
Blistl: I'm a good shot, I'm a mage, and I have martial art that's a hard counter to any weapon
Blistl: Any melee weapon, I've got to find new stuff for the guns
Courtney: hmmm... I have an idea

Courtney walked off with Flint walking, their Void Nail on their back, now having a change called "power nodes", which allow for slight augmentations

Flint: You know you shouldn't just, hand that off that's a relic of the gods
Blistl: If she breaks it I don't care, I'm horrible with the blade
Blistl: Plus I can dream gate on my own dude
Flint: Don't you want to collect more essence
Blistl: Dude, that's an Exalted Dream Nail, 500x more powerful than an Awakened Dream Nail

Blistl then looked down

Blistl: I just realized what I did
Flint: Yeah it's a powerful weapon dude
Flint: Use your arsenal, not just your brain
Blistl: whatever, I'm just... a bit pissed...

A beep came off as Raiden went out of the chamber and into a simulation to test out their new body

Blistl: Circuit you felt it right?
Flint: yeah, they were on of us
Flint: A vessel...

Blistl looked back at the fight, their nail... or katana had this weird liquid in it, it could morph... not it had more to it... they were connected... "they" no wait

Blistl: It was some sort of... small... machines?
Flint: That's what beat you
Blistl: it was like Void given focus, a hivemind, but each with their own mind and thoughts
Blistl: you know about Void more than I do, so you would know the picture
Doktor: Don't you mean, nanomachines

The Doktor appeared behind the two Vessel, reminding them that their short... reminds them if Hollow gets out of their predicament their asking them how to increase their height ASAP, it's not an age thing, they've waited... they've grown like 3 inches, out like 20 years of waiting

Blistl: umm... I don't take etymology, what does "nano" mean in the convoluted English language
Doktor: I'm a robit scientist, not an etymologist, Americans barely understand it, and they basically invented
Courtney: No I think it was the EU
Flint: Why am I getting a history, grammar, and technology lesson in on conversation
Doktor: Chop that up to the writer

I say to my monitor as I type this script, I hate being self aware f**k me

Courtney: Nothing actually

Courtney then went over and gave Blistl back the rune, now equipped with some familiar tech

Courtney: turns out it connects to mind really easily, like robotic or organic, if it's sentient then that's the only requirement
Blistl: Well what did you do
Courtney: Two things, first is add a Solid Eye to it with a holographic display shown via your mind
Courtney: Turns out, once you get the rules of magic down, it's not hard to use
Doktor: There are rules
Courtney: I why wouldn't there, the universe has it for science, magic would be no different, so...

She then showed her holographic display

Courtney: My 1st step was to figure out the source of magic, which is spiritual energy
Courtney: After that, the rules were easy to figure out
Courtney: You use magic, you use your life source, but things like life around you, or magic lined objects
Courtney: Or even objects of emotional significance seem to emanate it power
Courtney: One of these sources happens to be Dream, they are chalk full of emotions, because they are memories
Courtney: Made from the brain or mind...
Courtney: Basically Magic and Science run on two separate operating systems, but, they have overlap and combatibility
Blistl: that is

Blistl blinked one or twice

Blistl: Genius... I'll take that in account
Courtney: also added an MP3 player, is had like infinite storage for files, FNAF security breach goes in there like it in a void
Flint: That's close to home...
Flint: Well, at least we learned something, I barely understood, but I'm going to do some training, you guys got a sword combat simulation
Doktor: tons dude, Raiden hasn't done them all, so burn through a few
Blistl: just do me one like Flint's and Raiden's
Doktor: you don't know how to use a sword that well
Blistl: I need to learn basic shit
Flint: Finally took you 20 years

Doktor looked worried, but Courtney smiled she had an idea

A FEW MOMENTS LATER...

Blistl walked through some woods, they never had to be in these areas before, or at least not for long. Blistl and Flint never looked at the environments they entered, they knew they'd either see blood and carnage or an environment they'd leave, as they walked in their dream nail rune blinked

Blistl: huh?

Blistl picked it up, they hesitated and tilted their head before clicking the button

Courtney: Glaf you figured it out
Blistl: I'm not dumb, just not used to technology
Courtney: don't worry, from battle data we have on you, your a powerful fighter, but you need training against guns
Courtney: so I'm send some enemies towards you with some Glocks, a basic thing
Blistl: What if I die?
Courtney: You can't, it's a simulation, though you can feel pain, so be careful
Blistl: Got it...

Blistl heard a few foot steps, then they drew on a golden glow to their hand

Blistl: hmmm...

BANG!

Blistl then dodged and shot off a radiant beam

Blistl: only one... no more are here I just need to think fast

Blist then grabbed went to grab a Lifeblood Bug from their pocket dimension

Courtney: The solid eye can help here
Blistl: hm...
Courtney: It can detect enemies from afar, you can see have seen you and who hasn't

Blistl then grabbed the rune with the bug, they had an idea. They clicked the Dream Nails Solid Eye attachment and it actually worked much to their surprise.
They saw three enemies, they saw Blistl but were waiting on them to make a move...

Blistl: (if I wasn't a Vessel capable of complete stillness, they would've attack, I can't even flinch.... OR CAN I!)

Blistl then grabbed the bug first and swung it out, of their cloak

Enemy 1: GET THEM!

The 3 enemies fired, only to be met with a blue shield, one grabbed a Rocket Launcher and fired destroying blue bubble

Enemy 3: Target not spotted get my six
Blistl: I've got your six

Before they could respond, the simulation was stabbed in the back killing him. The two looked behind their backs to see dead body, while enemy 1 began to reload the rocket launcher, their only trump card in this fight, Blistl was being fired at with the glock of enemy 2, but using the dead body acquired from the enemy sent to the past tense as a meat shield, they advanced towards him.

Enemy 1: GOT YOU NOW

The 1st enemy fired onto Blistl with their rocket launcher, but Blist then crushed a lifeblood bug and threw the body to the rocket destroying the rocket, and with the lifeblood now being in use the blocked the rest of the bullets running towards them before slashing them in half, Blistl then ran towards the other guy, who seeing they were the last one standing, piled on their effort to a third rocket, and got a lock of Blistl

Courtney: That's a homing missile
Blistl: I'm going to hate this more than primal aspids
Courtney: What's an aspid
Blistl: you don't want to know

The rocket fired, Blistl ran in the opposite direction running towards a tree, the rocket followed, the guy readied a 4th rocket, his last one. Blistl ran up

Blistl: Going up...

Blistl charging soul into their feet began running on the side of the tree the rocket followed

Enemy 1: OH SHIT!
Blistl: Going 6 feet under

Blistl backflipped putting their hand in front of the rockets sensors, giving a makeshift steering system as it followed their hand where it leaned and it went straight for the man himself

Blistl: And gone

Blistl jumped and used a vengeful spirit to destroy the missile, it successful with some "casualties"

BOOM!

Blistl: eh property damage right?
Courtney: Damn that was good, you have one more target, it's over on your Solid Eye

Blistl activated it to get a waypoint, the HUD was only able to be seen by them, using the mind connection and combining it with the Solid Eye's capabilities. Weird how some overlap in the universes rules make such an advancement in tech

They ran, nothing came in they checked the solid eye a few times but got no enemies... then 2 came in, they were

Flint: Blistl?
Raidan: Flint?
Blist: Raiden?
Courtney: This is your final assignment, a little test with you 3
Flint: Great your going to 3rd wheel this fight Raiden
Raiden: why, can I have fun
Blistl: We've already fought a lot
Raiden: heh, now that's something, siblings fighting can't say I can relate, I had no family
Flint: I had no father
Raiden: Sorry who asked
Blistl: The Blood and Void that'll fly

The three drew their weapons at that mark, Blistl having a Nightmare Flame ready to fire in their other hand, Blistl holding their nail with two hands, Raiden charging some lightning

Raiden: I'm ready to rip when you are
Blistl: C'mon I'm waiting to move
Flint: I'm just waiting for you two to stop arguing
Raiden: Fine if you two won't go

The two readied themselves

Raiden: I'll volunteer
Blistl: Volunteering your soul I see

Raiden charged at Blistl, Flint charged at Raiden

Blistl jumped out of the way and summoned beam of light hitting Raiden into the air

Flint: I'm next
Blistl: Nope

Blistl then ducked under Flint causing them to roll over into the mud and into a tree, Raiden came down with his vibrating blade slashing the tree like carving a pumpkin

Raiden: GOT YOU! huh

Flint looked at Raiden their body now Void and the sword doing nothing, they then solidify themselves and ran up Raiden's sword kicking him in the face, but Raiden grabbed him and threw him

Raiden: YEET!

Blistl fired off a few rounds of soul at him, giving no down time as Raiden slashed the magic with his blade while dodging at high rates

Blistl: You fast I'll give you that

Blistl dream gated behind Raiden to kick him, but Raiden using his CQC took him down to the ground and went to punch Blistl mask in, but Blistl then kicked him back like he was nothing but a paper weight

Blistl: not today cyborg weeb
Raiden: Damn huh

Flint appeared behind him, his Solid hadn't been able to detect him

Raiden: HOW!?
Flint: heh, take a feet pic won't you

Flint feet were coated in Void giving an absence of sound to their step and he slashed at Raiden's back, but he retaliated by swinging his blade towards them, causing Flint to side step the blade scarping their mask

Blistl: You forgot about me

Blistl began charging up magic into his hands

Blistl: Nightmare Flames
Blistl: With the light of dreams

Their hands pointed to Raiden and Flint who were charging them

Blistl: Sleeping Night

A burst of Red and Golden flame summoned itself to existence destroying the entire surrounding area as it was engulfed by the magic output

Blistl: now I've

Blistl: *cough*

Blistl looked down to see Raiden's blade in his thorax, void spewed out and Courtney was not lying, it hurt ALOT.

Blistl, Flint, and Raiden collapsed before they "woke up", Blistl checked their stomach area it was ok, Raiden woke up not surprised he's been through this enough, Flint looked around like they were waking up from a dream

Docktor: Incredible, also we got info on the next mission
Flint: we helping
Courtney: Consider yourselves Temp Workers for the PMC now if you want to help
Blistl: Done
Raiden: where to next?
Courtney: Abkanza

Flint looked out the window of the weird "jet" as it was called, they and Raiden were needed to go ahead and stop a military leader from getting killed as the liberated. Blist flew thanks to wings they could create on the fly, fucking lucky with their magic

Flint: I'm going to fucking kill Sam or at least mentally maim him
Raiden: I was going to call you aggressive, then I remembered myself
Flint: You aggressive in that simulation back there
Raiden: I had a nickname a while back
Flint: What was it?
Raiden: Jack the Ripper, named after an old serial killing in London
Flint: Heh, notoriety you must hold to get that
Raiden: You have no idea about the pain
Raiden: Adapting to the jet well?
Flint: Yeah I'm not driving it has... "auto pilot"
Flint: Technology is lit... I might consider a shotgun to use with my sword
Raiden: Use a pistol with a silencer, great for stealth
Flint: I want them to know I'm coming, and coming up close and personal

Then the jet slipped Raiden and Flint onto the bottom part of it with rockets installed

Blistl landed gracefully onto a building as Raiden landed onto a beach with a crash, Flint landed near the factor. Confused Blistl called Raiden on his installed Solid Eye

Blistl: What is Flint doing
Raiden: They can't handle the speed, also you should disguise yourself, you have a spell for that
Blistl: I... ummm.... no
Raiden: You have a spell for wings... but not for a disguise???

The bug looked a clothing shop with masks and what not

Blistl: I have an idea

Blistl snuck into the store and came out wearing a pink sweater shirt covering most of their exoskeleton, and their face could be assumed to be a mask so... disguise

They also met a Karen in there

Blistl: Alright problem solved lets go

Blistl came out the shop sipping on a stolen milkshake and saw Raiden slashing a Gecko, they sipped in amusement as he lifted one up like a paper weight and yeeted it into another, Blistl's pupils followed the commotion in amusement after a lot of blood, oil, servos, and robots parts were left in the ground he walked up to a panting Raiden

Raiden: You could've...*huff* helped... you fucking... bastard
Blistl: *ssssllllllluuuuuuuurrrrrrpppp*
Blistl: You had it under control
Raiden: *inhales* fuck you
Blistl: Which way

Blistl: Do you even know Vessel biology?

Blistl walked off with no context given slurping their milkshake, as a police guard came behind and shot a gun at them, Blist threw their cup deflecting the bullet in a blue flash and it went back at the guards head putting a clean hole

Blistl: Oh sorry, I put life blood in my drink
Blistl: sorry, not sorry
Raiden: show off
Blistl: Says the one who took out the Royale Guards Men
Raiden: PDA but... point taken

The two walked forward going to Flint, speaking of which...

Flint: ow...

Flint looked at the sky, but saw nothing too much, just the sun, which reminded them of the radiance... WAY TOO MUCH

Flint: My mask

Flint felt their head, and felt a liquid, void seeped out and was in a pool around them, giving an exhausted sigh they used focus to heal the crack in their head, it took about 2 rounds of it to be of full health, now less delirious, though still a bit dizzy due to the loss of basically their blood, Focus was good, but magic can't heal everything. They got some goggles and looked for the target, Sundowner and a Rebellion Leader if they remembered correctly, though their memory maybe a bit goggled, but they saw a women who had many arms, she turned to Flint immediately as they made eye contact causing them to hide and use Void feet to hide their presences

Flint: ~HOLY SHIT~

Flint tried to move away with their stealth in void, but she continued to eye them, even though they should be invisible to normal lower being senses... it just didn't work, after a while they just went to store house with plenty of weapons, she knew their location so might as well have a place to fight

Flint: ~Dammit, how is she able to see me???~
Flint: ~She's a lower being, a cyborg yeah, but even robots can't see me...~

Flint grey eye's lit up in fear

Flint: It's not a lower beings sense... a 6th sense... of course
Flint: bugs rarely do it... but it appears humans are capable of it
Flint: A being above normal senses, it can detect abnormal stuff wit ease
Flint: Stealth is impossible with that power, unless with a good counter, which I don't have...

Just then footsteps came in, causing Flint to stop talking, they peaked behind their crate, a vessel came in... but it wasn't Blistl

Flint looked around for any weapon, their eyes looked to a crate on their left, but before they could start, Circuit slashed the crate into two, Flint ducked the top of their mask scraping the top of it with sparks

Flint slashed at their cyborg sibling only for them to be blocked with Circuit's katana

Flint kicked Circuits chest knocking them back, but their feet caught then

Flint drew their nail and got ready to strike, Circuit looked back, their solid eye glowing an intense green, nothing in their other eye, no personality... they weren't even an object... but a tool, if Flint had a mouth they'd grit their teeth, it pissed them off someone would use them like that.

Flint dashed forward and unleashed a large void column in its wake, Circuit caught off guard was put into it's tension, with that Flint began their next move

Flint said sheathing their nail, they looked behind and saw the cyborg sibling looking blankly at them in defeat

Flint walked over and did a round of focus, the robot looked at them, a flicker of green appeared in their eyes, but Flint walked off

Flint: Alright you fucking lady... I'm going to kick your ass

Blistl and Raiden ran ahead to get ambushed by a dog slamming into the two

Flint up the building side to the top, where they jumped up to face Mistral, but she smiled and threw one of the small orb robots at them, causing Flint to slash it but it exploded in their face, causing them to collapse

Flint: I don't have a... never mind not the time

Flint drew their nail as it emitted darkness like it was a form of light, they were not giving in, they swung at Mistral but she easily side stepped in a mocking manner, Flint was battered and didn't have much void to keep themselves awake if they get hit once-

Mistral unleased a powerful blow to their mask knocking them out...

Flint vision faded to black, before seeing an old friend... Ghost...

Blistl dodged a burning knife the thing skimming their cloak thankfully due to their Mom's genes it didn't catch fire, Blade Wolf then went in slashed with his chainsaw blade with lethal force the bug caught it with a nightmare spike

Blistl: unique a blade with a spinning apparatus to increase it's cutting power
Blistl: Though it's not enough
Blade Wolf: don't threaten me

Raiden slashed at the robotic canine from behind to he dodged with minimal effort and slashed his tail at the cyborg

Bladewolf: useless
Blistl: uno reverse

Blist came behind to kill Bladewolf with their dream nail, but was parried by the chainsaw blade knocking them back, causing them to heal up, Bladewolf seeing an opportunity to attack went at lightning speed to kill Blistl but using Shape of Unn, they dodged and continued to use Focus despite already being healed

Bladewolf: you are healing nonexistent wounds
Blistl: focus can do more than heal

Bladewolf dodged another attack from Raiden, not wanting to see what Blistl was charging he called for some soldiers to assist which perked up the vessels attention

Blistl slashed at one of the cyborgs cutting them in half he grabbed the spine and like they saw Raiden do, crushed it, the electrolytes surged through their body healing them and restoring their soul, seeing this and the slightly injured Raiden he tosed a spine to him

Raiden caught it and crushed the spine healing himself

Raiden: was getting thirsty

Now juiced up he went to attack Bladewolf knocking him back as Raiden grabbed him stabbing the dog numerous times, but he stopped and dropped him

Raiden walked past Blistl, who snapped a cyborg police officers neck casually and followed him to Flint, speaking of which

MEANWHILE

Flint stabbed another one of Mistrals minions as she threw her whip at him to which Flint phased through with their Void, they mostly hated taking such initiative, as an Object they shouldn't take such a form on their own, then again they failed the Pale King the moment they gained a personality, eventually Mistral jumped up onto the pipes next to the their original battle ground

Mistral: you and I aren't so different
Flint: don't compare me to you
Mistral: hard not to when you are a child soldier like me
Flint: what are you
Mistral: you're whole birth was done to fight your father's war

Flint understandably now button pushed went to slash at the balls with legs and in one swift blow killed them all, with no sound in earshot, Flint's new form gave them a unique level of control over void they lacked pior, now though seeing Mistral, they came to a conclusion, she was right, they were a child soldier born, no built to fight the Radiance, but they couldn't let it define them, not like how fighting has defined her and her worth, they decided to name their new form Realized Voidance

Flint: I see red ice

Flint could see it, they had it, their fathers foresight, they jumped up and kicked Mistral off, going into a state not dissimilar to Blade Mode, but with Void being nothing, their perception of time could become almost nothing at all mimicking Blade Mode,they expertly slashed the arms off, their Nail ignoring the metal's durability, then exiting the psedo blade mode punched Mistral down to some containers

Mistral: this isn't over
Flint: the battle is decided

Flint ducked another hit from her and slashed the cryogenic liquid concentrate, freezing her, then with a slash and a flash of no light, the ground was of red ice, just as they had predicted

Flint: it's over

Flint exited his form and collapsed in exhaustion as their void loss still got to them, and explosion came from affar and a glimpse of light is all they saw before blacking out

Blistl and Flint looked at Raiden pacing anxiously, Blistl just watched in a stern way, Flint was confused

Blistl: There are children captured in a country called Mexico

Blistl: Like us in a way, they'll be experimented on, though unlike it us...

Flint looked at Jack pace in a nervous nature, as if trying to think of a smart way to do it rather than guns blazing which could endanger, Flint remembered their talk with him, on his past and gaining the title "Jack the Ripper"... a killer just because he was forced to

Flint: Void magic is the concept of nothing, I'm stealthy, plus in combat I'm not at all useful

Flint: Blistl, I'm not you I don't have a stupid amount strength like you, I almost died against Mistral
Doktor: He, I mean they have a point, if their footsteps are silent then you two can act as a distraction

A FEW MINUTES

Blistl then fired a series of Night flames burning them, Raiden slashed one and tore out a spine, Blistl was low on soul so they came up with an idea, they entered blade mode and slashed an enemy in the "red square" and with that got the spine and crushed it, much to their surprise it restored their soul, they did a quick focus for healing and ran forward to larger enemy, it with giant monkey like hand smashed Blistl back, shocking them, it went to punch them against but Blistl still equipped with their Dream Nail dreamgated behind him and did a vengeful spirit on its back doing damage, and finished it with the staff they stole from Mistral, they saved Flint mind you, so taking the weapon was reasonable

Raiden: hey that could work

Raiden who was struggling against the other enemies, whipped out his own copy of it, and using it's whip mode, along with Blistl magic enhanced attacked made an easier work out against the primates

Blistl: Dumb monkeys

Blistl said stuffing the weapon back into their cloaks void like pocket dimension, Raiden not even taking a double take at that, he'd seen a bisexual vampire, fought against Physico Mantis in a simulation, he'd seen TONS of bullshit, so this was just another thing to check off the "checklist of Metal Gear Bullshit" ((lml55: I'm being so fucking meta holy shit))

Raiden: Up ahead
Blistl: Obviously we're not going backwards

MEANWHILE with Flint

Flint walked through the vent, Bladewolf in tow, though he had no void on his feet, he was stealth wheels for tight quarters, Flint had to get the childen out while Raiden and Blistl were tearing the place apart

Flint: Probably nothing, they can't hear us
Bladewolf: Imcoming

CRASH! A katana slashed the vent, then the otherside and then the two fell Flint grabbed Bladewolf and shade cloaked them both through the now detached vent section, Bladewolf slashed a container being thrown as a mackintosh voice came in saying

Circuit: What's the dog doing
Flint: ah for fucks sake

Circuit jumped off and slammed down with their thrusters powered by Void

Circuit: I The Solar Wind of Destruction from Hallownest, am ordered to take you out Flint

Circuit looked at Bladewolf and glared

Circuit: Especially you Bladewolf the Traitor
Flint: What about Blistl
Circuit: Blistl is to be waited on, as stated by Senator Armstrong

Circuit jumped in to slash at Flint and the combat began

Blistl and Raiden walked into a room and found a kid cornered, before Blistl could say anything, Raiden killed the giant robot dogs, Blistl nodded and grabbed the kid from behind

???: Who you are?
Blistl: I'm Blistl

They used the Dream Gate to get a safe distance and let Raiden do his thing, to which so spines being ripped out happed

Raiden: TO HELL WITH YOU MUTTS

Raiden grabbed two spines and ripped them out with no mercy in his eye, he may be a killer in his past, but he's a killer to save others

Raiden: The kid ok?
Blistl: Believe so, hey whats your name

The kid seemingly just noticed they were a giant bug clambered back

George: your like cyborg knight
Raiden: Blistl do you know what he's talking about?
Blistl: A sibling most likely
Raiden: Are all Vessel's siblings
Blistl: Yes, though with the exception of Nightmare Vessels

Blistl got down to one knee, the kid was small than themself and said

Raiden sighed in remembering Blistl while understanding the language, they were only doing it as they spoke with the Void itself, which self translated to the mind

George got up to Blistl and looked curiously, Blistl saw a bar code on his hand, the grabbed it George shivered. Blistl curious about this, decided to use some soul and focused, destroying the bar code on his hand

He stepped back, looking at his hand in awe

Raiden: But we need to do the same for the other kids, do you know a way in

He looked at his hand, then to the two people and nodded

He hugged Blistl out of no where

He let go as Blistl stood there, taken aback by the kindness

Blistl: Shut up we got a mission to do

Courtney: Evac will be in 5 minutes

The kid nodded and told Blistl and Raiden of a vent shaft and Blistl jumped down into the sewers below

Flint clashed with Circuit, who jumped and summoned rockets at them from their chestplate, in desperation they slashed at the rockets trying to cut them, but without blade mode they were overwhelmed, Bladewolf jumped onto and pin Circuit to the ground and tried chainsaw them to hell and back, but Circuit kicked them midair and slashed at them doing massive damage to their hull, quickly they began using nano paste to heal, but it was up to Flint

Flint: Enough of this

Flint transformed and slashed their sibling, but Circuit focused and with a glint of green and red, a high frequency shuriken spun made of soul around Circuit as the focus was complete knocking back Flint into metal boxes

Circuit: Focus has many uses, then just healing

Flint got up, face mask cracked, and they were pissed

Flint: FUCK... EVERYTHING

Flint picked up a Glock and put a Fallen of the Fury charm on it

Flint: Fuck your siblinghood

They fired a red bullet and they knocked out their Katana

Flint: Fuck Desperado

They fired another hitting them in the chest, doing damage to their exoskeleton

Flint: AND FUCK YOUR WIND OF DESTRUCTION STATUS

They got close and hit Circuit with their Nail, and explosion of Void hit the cyborg of a sibling knocking them into a wall, they jumped down damage and left through the vents

Bladewolf: Should I advance Flint?
Flint: No, we don't have time, we need to continue... I need something, I'm barely surviving these encounters
Bladewolf: Maybe a cybernetic
Flint: I'm honestly debating a cybernetic arm

Flint dropped the Glock and left the charm, Bladewolf took it just curious

Bladewolf: Raiden could use this

MEANWHILE

Blistl got into the level and saw a ton of those monkeys, there was no way he could get through that with out dying, Flint's stealth options would be nice right now

Blistl: Doktor any idea

Doktor got onto the line and said

Doktor: Not any real ones, but use that box over their
Blistl: Seriously?
Doktor: They won't see you, just don't move when they are looking at you

Blistl sighed and got into the box and walked in, their void pumping faster than ever before, but they needed this to get to the end of this Tunnel

Blistl walked through the tunnel in a box, and got to the other side, sighing in relief they slowly lifted the box, until they heard a few foot steps

Sam: Hello Blistl

Blistl turned over to point their Dream Nail at Sam and his shit eating grin

Sam: Sup
Blistl: What you doing here?

Blistl tilted their mask to see he effortlessly took out the apes, Blistl also got a good look at Sam, he had many things, no cybernetics outside of an arm and nano suit, and the sword. Blistl will admit they've seen their fair share of weapons, but this took the cake on a unique take on a sword

Sam: Heh, don't get eyeing the sword too long, someone might get the wrong idea
Blistl: Ok bro, what are you doing here
Sam: Some overgrown moth told me she'd smite me if I didn't help you get to the end of the tunnel
Blistl: Fucking Radiance, she already repaid her debt

Blistl looked the Dream Nail and sheathed it

Sam and Blistl walked down, a few Metal Gears came in in the form of a snake of sorts, ready to fight

Blistl jumped up and slashed the high frequency blade on the tip of it's tail, it tried to get through and threw some heated knives, but Blistl dream gated and summoned a radiant beam onto it, the serpent though was clever and jumped out of the way, showing persistence in it's combat

Sam: Called the rules of nature

Sam said as he blocked the other snakes high frequency blade and yanked it off and killed the snake with it's own tail blade, Blistl saw this and got the idea, the other snake metal gear threw itself at Blistl and they coated their hands in life blood grabbing the snakes blade

Blistl then summoned a radiant energy beam and jumped off, then landed

Blistl: Thank you, took me 5 days to figure that out
Sam: Not bad, shall we continue
Blistl: Actually we're near the end of the tunnel
Sam: Well if thats the case

Sam began to draw their red blade

Blistl: *sighs*

Blistl turned and hit Sam's blade with their dream nail, dream gating the sword out of area

Blistl: It's in Chicago have a fun trip

Blistl then hit Sam getting rid of him, and eliminating the lv100 Pokémon from the battle field

Blistl: There is no way I'm facing him without dying
Blistl: So fuck that

They walked off to the next area

Flint got out of the vent and saw a glass window with the kids, one of the kids jumped at seeing Flint

Lucas: Hey you speak English
Flint: Yes, maybe, I don't know
Lucas: Well you just vented on camera so kinda sus
Flint: I'm going to ignore the pop culture references

Flint looked around for anything to get them out, before just drawing their nail

Scientist: Hold it
Lucas: Bug dude!

Flint looked behind him to see a gun pointed at their mask from behind

Scientist: You destroy that glass, I pop your head off
Lucas: D-dude?
Flint: Nice gun, but I conceal carry

Flint then kick the scientist in the nuts and pointed a shotgun at him

Flint threw their EMP grenade at the control panel of the glass turning off the security, and they slashed the glass

Flint saw a neck collar, and saw it had some suppressing effect, no it was filled with Void, another kid was here with a similar aspect to them, he had a collar.

Flint: Doktor?
Doktor: Yes?
Flint: Do you know anything on these collars
Doktor: No, they seem entirely magic based

He said as he looked at the screen of Flints body camera

Doktor: They might blow up if you force them off
Doktor: But they give off the same energy as those magic attacks
Flint: Exactly... their tapping into void... but why

Flint looked around just pissed, kidnapped children, experimenting with void... it felt too close to home

Flint: I'm going to get you kids out of that alright
Lucas: Thank you, I've been powerless without it

Flint grabbed the color and coated it with void, and like they thought, it came off, they did to the same to the 2nd kid

Flint: Alright... we should get going, can you handle yourselves

Raiden: They shut down 3 whole snakes, and I think pulled a rules of nature

Raiden: IDK, have you fought one

Raiden, Flint, and the kids walked along the path, the two kids with former collars walking upfront with Raiden

Flint: Jeeze, Blistl went on a rampage

They said as they pass the 3 snakes utterly fucking wrecked

John: High Frequency Blade strikes... you sure this was them...
Raiden: No, they don't even have a blade like that

Flint slipped away, they had enough, Lucas saw them, and followed as they climbed on top, only to see an airport

Lucas: Where you going and being sus
Flint: Gonna shut up or something

Flint climbed onto a plane to Chicago and clinged to the bottom of the plane with Void as it took off

Raiden got back to the Maverik with the kids, and Blistl was waiting with George and Blade wolf

Blistl: where's Flint
Raiden: huh? Thought they were right here
John: They avoided all my senses
Raiden: Oh no...
Blistl: You idiots, they have void

Blistl then summoned a small ball of void

Blistl: They sneak past almost anything with that
Blistl: Raiden... we have... plenty of problems if I know where my sibling is going
Doktor: Thier going to Chicago
Raiden: what?
Doktor: Their planning to raid Desperado

Raiden and Blistl gave a look of OMFG and ran

John: ummmm.... well guess I'm doing something

John said his eyes glowing red

Flint saw the city of Chicago and was impressed. Reminded them of city of tears, but no time to remember the past time to fucking destroy that bastard Sundowner, they got out one of their EMP Grenades and used it on the autopiloted plane causing it's systems

Flint: Time to go monkey

The plane crashed into a squad of privatized police forces below them exploding them with the plane

Flint: Now I forsee... blood and shed
