Burn out

Summary:

What would do to get out of a situation?
After Lexa meets her bitty mother, and experiences love for the first time she’ll do anything to keep it. This is a prequel to Infamous Flame.

Chapter Text

The sun shines down on a suburban street of Arkadia. Lexa walks along the sidewalks, wearing a dark green t-shirt under a leather jacket, blue jeans, and black vans. The woman swaps look between the houses and a piece of paper with an address. She finally reaches a brown house that matches the paper. Lexa sighs, straighten her book bag, and walks towards the door; she gives it a hesitant knock. After a moment, she could hear a voice call out, “I got it!” The door opens, revealing a younger woman who is a year or two younger than her. “Can I help you?” She asks.

“Hey,” Lexa greets, looking at her slip of paper. “I’m looking for Indra Woods, is she here?” She asks the young woman.

The woman turns her head inside the house. “Mom! It’s for you,” she yells.

Soon enough, the woman is replaced by her mother. The dark skin woman inspects Lexa. “Hello,” she greets.

“Hi, I’m Lexa heda, your daughter,”

Indra's eyes widen as looks closely at Lexa, seeing the resemblance. “Please, come inside?” She asks moving out of Lexa’s way. She leads Lexa through the house. Lexa gazed at different pictures of the family. When entering the living room, the two sat across one another.

The younger woman bounces her knee while fiddling with her hands. “Well, this is kinda awkward, huh?” She questions the situation.

Indra chuckles, “For you and me,” both mother and daughter sat in silence. Indra finally speaks, “So, how’s Gustus?”

Lexa's face saddens at the mention of her father. “He… he died when I was fifteen,” she answers, unable to look at the woman. “Heart attack,”

“Lexa, I’m so sorry,” Indra tries to reach out to the younger woman.

Unfortunately, Lexa pulls away from the woman. “Sorry,” she apologizes, keeping her head down.

Indra frantically raises her hands, “No, no, I’m sorry. I overstepped.” She tells Lexa. “If don’t mind me asking, but how old are you?”

“Twenty-one,”

“God, only three years older than Anya,” Indra mutters to herself. “Are you living with any family?”

Lexa sighs, “No, I’ve been couch surfing since he died.”

“Honey, who at the door,” Titus enters the room. He looks at the scene before him. “Am I interrupting something?” He asks.

“No,” Lexa answers, she stands up, preparing to leave. “Sorry for taking up your time.”

“Lexa wait,” Indra stops her daughter in her tracks. “Girls!” She calls out. On queue, two teens came running down the stairs. “Can you two show Lexa to the guest room? I have talked to your father,” She orders the pair. The two daughters nod, Indra signals Lexa to follow her sisters.

Once out of sight, Titus turns to his wife. "Okay, what's going on?" he asks.

Indras takes a deep breath, "Remember Gustus?" she asks, pouring two cups of wine. She passes one to her husband.

"Your ex-husband?" Titus questions, taking the cup.

“The very one,” Indra answers as she sips her wine.

“Oh, I see,” Titus states, putting the pieces together. “We’re going to need something stronger for this discussion,” the heads into the kitchen.

Upstairs the three girls sat around one another in a decent size room. “Mom said your name is Lexa, right?” Asks the youngest of the three. Lexa nods. “Well, I'm Gaia,” she introduces herself. “And that one's Anya," the teen points to her older sister, who simply waves from the door frame.

"Nice to meet you guys," Lexa greets them.

"How do you know our mom?" Anya asks the woman.

Lexa stares at her feet, rubbing her hands on the thighs. "That's for your mother to let you know,"

"How come?" Gaia questions.

"You guys ask a lot of questions," Lexa comments. Before anyone else could speak, a knock came from the door.

In the frame stood Titus, "Everyone in the living room, family meeting,"  he leaves the women to follow.

The group heads down the stairs and meets Indra sitting on the couch. Everyone takes their seats in the spacious area. "What's this about mom?" Anya ask.

Indra sighs as Titus rubs her shoulders. "I see you met, Lexa; your half-sister,"

"WHAT!" both Gaia and Anya scream, jumping to their feet.

"Mom, did you cheat on dad?" Anya questions.

Indra puts her hands up, "It's not like that," She answers, "She's from a previous marriage, and she'll be living with us for the time being,"

"You, don't have to do that," Lexa interjects, "I just wanted to meet you, I don't want to be a burden or a charity case," the woman heads for the exit.

As Lexa'a hand touches the doorknob, a voice calls out. "Then why did you come?" Titus asks.

"I don't know,"

The man places a hand on her shoulder, "At least give this a try,"

Lexa sighs, letting go of the knob. "Fine,"

Titus nods at the woman, "Good, now let me take your..." the man starts, reaching for Lexa's bag.

"No!" she cries out, holding the man's wrist in a vice grip. Her outburst gains the attention of the others. Realizing her mistake, Lexa apologizes, "Sorry, the bag's special to me; I'll deal with it."

"I'm sorry if I overstepped,"

"No, no, you're fine. I'll be in the guest room," She tells the family, heading upstairs.

 After Dinner

Sometime after finishing her meal, Lexa explores the house. The woman manages to find the basement, she sees many trophies and pictures of Indra and Titus in their boxing days. Lexa finally spots alone punching bag by itself, putting on a pair of gloves, she proceeds to throw a combo into the bag. After a few punches, Lexa throws a few kicks. "Not bad," she hears, Lexa turns to see Indra and Titus on the stairs.

"I'm sorry," the woman apologizes.

Titus waves it off, "Don't be, who taught you?" he asks.

Lexa removes the gloves. "My Father," she answers hesitantly. "I'm also a fan of Woman UFC,"

"Great, Anya could show you Mount Weather," Indra offers.

"You mean the best MMA gym in all of Arkadia?" Lexa questions the parents. "I would love to go, but I don't have money for a membership." The woman admits.

"Lexa, it's fine we own the gym," Titus tells Lexa.

"And since you're family, you get a free membership," Indra adds in.

Lexa chuckles at the two, "Of course, you own the gym," she mutters to herself. "Okay, I'll go if Anya is okay with it,"

"She'll be happy to,"

Chapter Text

“I’m telling you, Clarke, you need to get back out there and start dating again,” Raven begs her friend, the pair walking the streets of Arkadia in their gym clothes.

Clarke groans, “Ray, I would love to, but I’m too busy with classes, my art, and that thing,” she whispers the last part. “Anyway, why are you so interested in my love life, don’t you have your girlfriend?”

Raven gives the blond a huge smile, “Yes, a girlfriend who’s at the gym right now,” the two women reach their destination; Mount Weather, a gym filled with inspiring mixed martial artists and people who want to defend themselves. Raven looks past the many bodies in search of Anya. “Where is she?” She asks.

“I think she in the cage,” Clarke points out, the friends see Anya covered in pads, sparring with another woman also in pads.

Anya grapples the other woman, bringing her knee into the protected torso. The woman manages to grab on to Anya’s leg and slam her into the mat. The two separate for a moment, reading themselves again. Anya rushes at her sparring partner, leaping into the air to deliver a Superman punch. The woman spins to avoid the attack, one coming back around she plunges her elbow into Anya’s padded face, followed by a punch. The attack knocks the younger woman to the ground. “That’s three, I win,” the woman states, offering her hand.

“Great, now I have someone to bully me now,” Anya says jokingly, taking the older woman’s hand. “You have to teach me that move,”

The woman chuckles, “Sorry, it’s a parent and child thing,” she tells Anya.

Anya simply nods, “Okay fair enough,” the pair exit the cage, only to meet Raven and Clarke standing in front of them. “Oh, hey babe,” Anya greets, wrapping her arms around her girlfriend's waist.

Raven stops her girlfriend from kissing her, “Um, are going to introduce us?” She asks.

“Oh right,” Anya lets Raven go, “Lexa, this is my girlfriend, Raven, and our friend Clarke,” the girl waved at the older woman. Lexa waves back as Anya put her arm around her sister, “And ladies, meet my older half-sister, Lexa,”

Raven and Clarke’s jaws drop at the news, “I didn’t know you had a half-sister,” Raven states.

“Neither did I,” Anya replies, “Not until yesterday that is,”

“Cool, cool, hey babe can you help me, with my workout,” Raven asks.

“Yeah,” the couple take their leave heading somewhere else.

Lexa and Clarke stood in awkward silence, the blonde tries her best to not stare at the older woman’s sweat-glitz abs. “Sooo…” she starts, “How long have you been in the Arkadia?”

“Actually, I’ve been here all my life,” Lexa answers.

A confused look paints Clarke’s face, “That’s weird, how come I’ve never seen you at any schools?”

“I was kinda homeschooled. So you wanna hit the bag?” Lexa suggests. The two made their way to an empty spot. The older woman holds the bag as Clarke throws a few punches. “So, how old are you?”

“Eighteen, and in college,” Clarke answers.

“Cool,”

Clarke stops her practice, and leans against the bag, “So, some other friends and we have plans next weekend, we would love for you to meet the others,”

Lexa makes a fake thinking face, “Hmm, I don’t know, I am a busy woman,” she starts. “Eh, what the hell, I’m down,”

Before anyone could say anything, Clarke's phone vibrates. The Blonde pulls the phone out of her pocket. The device screen shows a flashing blue A, “I’m sorry Lexa, we got to go.” Clarke tells the older woman.

“Wait, I don’t know the details!” Lexa calls out as the group begins to leave.

“I’ll tell when at home!” Anya yells back, exiting the gym.

“Nice meeting you, Lexa,” Raven states, following her friends. Outside the group heads around the corner of the building. Raven checks the area, “Okay you’re good,” she says to the others.

Anya opens a secret compartment in the wall, pulling out two costumes. Anya and Clarke proceed to put on the suits. When done, Anya kisses her girlfriend on the lips. “Later babe,” she states as she and Clarke fly into the air.

The two fly next to one another over the city, ascending higher into the clouds; they spot the Ark, their headquarters. The pair enters through one of the bay doors and lands on the metal floor. Clarke and Anya make their way to the command center, where the Blake siblings waited. “What’s the alert for?” Ask Clarke.

“The Coalition,” Bellamy answers. Everyone turns to the computer, it shows the map of the whole city. There were circles in three different places. “So far only, Sheidheda, Azgeda, and Disciple we’re spotted,”

“Do we know what they’re doing?” Anya questions.

“Well, Disciple is searching for something at a research lab,” Octavia responded.

“Anya, go put a stop to it,” Clarke orders, Anya heads off.

“And the rest of us?” Octavia asks.

“You’re on Shiedheda duty, we’ll take Azgeda,” Clarke tells her friends. The heroes take their leave, “Hopefully, we don’t have to deal with Infamous,” the group split up to their destinations.

Anya

Anya lands at the building, entering Star Labs. The hero flies through the building, searching the area. She sees Disciple looking over the computers. “Fine anything good?” The hero asks.

The supervillain faces Anya, “Trikru, it’s good to see you again; though I was hoping for Lightrenia, but you’ll do,” he states, creating copies of himself; equip with wrist blades and wrist blasters.

Anya smiles and cracks her knuckles. “Glad to help,” she begins to take out the clones one by one while dodging blaster shots. The last one tries to stab the superhero; Anya wraps it in vines and slams it into the ground. “That it?” The superhero asks smugly. “I expected more from you,” Disciple spawns more clones, each cloaking themselves. “Shit,”

Clarke and Bellamy

The pair flies into a bank, entering to find the security frozen to the wall. Clarke lightly taps the ice, shattering it and freeing the men. “Get out of here,” she orders. The men left the heroes to do their jobs. Bellamy follows Clarke into the lobby.

There stood Azgeda, her skin ice, her hair ashen white, her body covered in a dark blue costume, finishing with an ice-like mask. “Nice to see that I get two for the price of won,” she comments.

“Okay Azgeda, what the hell are you playing at?” Bellamy questions the villain.

“That’s for me know,” Azgeda fires ice at the two, Bellamy raises a stone wall blocking the attack. Clarke flies over the wall, bringing her fist down to the supervillain. Azgeda slides away on ice to avoid her, then in case a fist in ice, punching the hero into the air; it shatters on contact. Before Azgeda could make another move, Bellamy her to the wall.

The superhero goes to Clarke, helping her up. “Thanks,” she says. The pair watches as Azgeda froze her bindings enough to shatter them.

The heroes charges at the villain, only to be stopped by a fireball. Everyone turns to where it came from, seeing Infamous flame clad in a fire-like costume. “Am I interrupting?” She asks, emitting flames from her feet to fly down next to her ally.

“You’re late,” Azgeda states.

"Do you want to fight them by yourself?" Infamous ask, not receiving an answer, "That's what I thought," the villain admits long streams of fire from her fist. Infamous charges at the heroes, swinging the flames at Bellamy; while Azgeda shoots ice shards at Clarke. The pair splits off, dodging the attacks. Infamous continues her assault on Bellamy, the flames nearly hitting him. Unable to land a hit, Infamous cuts off the flames then conjure fire in her hands and blasts it at Bellamy. The hero creates a stone shield to block the flames.

On the other hand, Clarke manages to hold Azgeda at bay, as the villain tries to stab the hero with ice daggers. Clarke tosses Azgeda to the side, the villain retaliates by summoning a large ice pillar; the object collides with Clarke, pinning her against the wall; the jagged edges dig into the hero's body, this causes her to scream out in pain. "Sky!" Bellamy cries out, knocking Infamous to the floor and throwing his shield into the ice pillar; breaking it in half. Clarke falls into Bellamy, "You okay?" He asks.

The two villains slowly approach Bellamy and Clarke, before Azgeda could blast with ice, Infamous stops her. “That’s enough, we did what we were told to do,” she states, emitting fire from her feet and carrying Azgeda out.

Clarke puts her fingers on her coms, “Trikru! Azgeda and Infamous Flame are gone, are still fighting Disciple?”

“He just left, and I can’t reach Lightrenia,” Anya answers back.

“We have to get her, quickly.” Clarke orders.

Octavia

Sheidheda shoots shadow tendrils at the hero. Octavia dodges them by teleporting behind the half-demon, delivering a kick to the back of his head. This sends Sheidheda across the roof; Octavia generates lightning in her hands and fires at the supervillain. The half-demon creates a shadow shield, but the lighting slowly chips it away. Out of nowhere a concussive blast, Octavia turns to see Disciple with his arm pointing at her; the wrist-mounted gun has smoke coming from it. Octavia uses her other to generate lighting, but it gets encased in ice. Unable to react quick enough to see Infamous Flame, the hero gets kicked off the roof, falling into the streets below.

Luckily, Octavia is caught by Clarke, with the others following the heroes reach the top of the building; where the villains had disappeared from. “Damn,” is all Clarke could say.

Somewhere else

The supervillains reappeared at a different area of Arkadia. “Did you get it?” Shiedheda asks Disciple.

“Of course,” he responds, showing the others the schematics of a device.

“What’s that?” Azgeda questions.

“A particle enhancer, it can enhance a meta’s power or give them another,” Disciple explains.

“That sounds fun,” Infamous comments.

Disciple continues, “I also got the schedule of when they’re shipping the prototype,”

“Good job, I’ll contact you when we make our move,” Sheidheda told the others, “Not you Flame,” he calls out his companion.

“What is it?” Infamous asks as the other two take their leave.

“Why were you late?” The half-demon asks.

“I was preoccupied,”

Sheidheda sighs, “Firefly, how many times do have to tell you?”

“I know, I know, if we want to destroy the  Arkers, we have to be at stay focused,” infamous answers, crossing her arms. “It won’t happen again,”

“Good, now you can go,” Shiedheda orders.

With that, Infamous jumps off the building and flies away. She makes her way through the city, trying not to draw any attention. The villain lands around the corner of the Woods residence finding her bag filled with cloths; Infamous charges back to Lexa. The woman makes her to the house knocking on the door, Gaia opens it, “You came back, I knew you would," she states.

Lexa raises an eyebrow “What makes you say that?”

“I thought maybe we scare you with all the niceness,”

The woman chuckles, "Don't worry, I’m not going anywhere; I’ll stay as long as your parents will have me,”

“Awesome, now I have older sisters,” Gaia states.

“Don’t worry I won’t bully,” Lexa pats the teen on the back before heading upstairs. There she meets Indra.

“Lexa,” the older woman greets. “Did you have fun with Anya at Mount Weather?”

“Yeah, it was everything I hoped for, but she left with a friend and girlfriend,”

Indra nods, "I see,"

"After that, I went job hunting," Lexa continues.

The older woman sighs, "Lexa..."

"No, you took me in no question ask, I'm not taking your money," Lexa stops the older woman.

Indra nods, "Okay, get any bites?"

"Sadly no, but I get one, don't worry," with that Lexa heads to her room.

An hour later, Anya catches Lexa in the basement. The older sister is in the middle of one-handed pull-ups while lifting a dumbbell with the other.  "Way to make us look weak as shit," She comments.

Lexa lets go of the bar and put the dumbbell away. "Sorry, not sorry," she says, taking a sip of her water.

"I bet you're not, catch," Anya throws a phone into the air for Lexa to catch. "It's just a fifty dollar smartphone, it has all our numbers, and Clarke's,"

"Why?"

"She offered, and if you don't want it, you can tell her at the party, I'll take you there," the younger sister tells her, heading upstairs.

Lexa stares at the phone and smiles, “Maybe this whole family thing isn’t so bad,”

Chapter Text

“Yo, Lexa! You ready to go,” Anya calls up.

“It’s nice of you to take Lexa with you,” Titus states.

“Clarke invited her, plus more bonding time,” Anya replies. “Lexa, hurry up! I got a girlfriend waiting for me!”

At that moment, the woman came around the corner and down the stairs. “Sorry, your clothes are a little tight, thanks by the way,” Lexa wore a maroon plaid button-down shirt and matching jeans.

“It’s no problem, now come on,” Anya practically pulls her older sister out the door.

“Have fun you two and be safe,” Titus yells.

When in the car, the pair took off. The first stop was Raven’s house, “Alright, to the back you,” Anya orders.

Lexa chuckles, “Okay busy,” she says teasingly.

Soon the Latina enters the vehicle. She greets her girlfriend with a passionate kiss, before getting any more intense, Lexa lets out a cough. “Oh Lexa, I didn’t see you there,” Raven greets the sister.

“Yea I bet you didn’t,” Lexa retorts, making the couple blush.

With that, the group makes their way to the next destinations. They come up to a decent size house, where Clarke stood at the door. The blonde makes her way to the car, “Hey, you,” she greets Lexa.

“Right back at you,” the older woman responds.

The car goes again, making its way to a college, Arkadia University. The vehicle continues through the college, pulling up to a rowdy frat house. The group heads into the building, passing the many people in front of the stage. There is a band on stage getting ready to play. “Arkadia University, you ready to rock?” The lead girl asks. The crowd cheers in response, “Good,”

Then the drummer bangs his sticks together saying, “3,2,1” after the count down, the band starts playing music and the crowd starts jumping around.

Clarke leans towards Lexa, “Those are the rest of our friends, the guitarist is Octavia, the one on drums is Bellamy, and the one on the base is Octavia’s boyfriend Lincoln,” She tells the older woman.

“They’re good,” Lexa complements.

“Yeah, they’re still waiting for their big break,”

The band continues to play their songs. Everyone jumps around and bumps to the music. Anya carries Raven on her shoulders, Raven records the band on her camera. After the band finishes, Octavia gives Linclon her guitar and screams, "STAGE DIVE!" the woman jumps into the crowd. The party-goers carry Octavia to her friends, "Hey guys," she greets. "How was the show?"

“Amazing as always,” answers Clarke, the others follow with complements of their own.

“Thanks guys,” says Bellamy entering the conversation. The young man notices Lexa, “So, you’re Anya’s half sister?”

“Yep that’s me,” Lexa answers.

“I nice to finally put a name to a face,” Lincoln adds, wrapping his arms around Octavia.

“Yeah these three haven’t shut up about you,” Octavia points out her friends.

Lexa turns to the three, “I hope you all good things.”

“Okay, enough talk, time to party; we’re going back on stage for another song,” the band leaves the group.

“You heard the rock star, let’s go have some fun,” Lexa turns to see just Clarke.

“Yeah, they left as Octavia did,” Clarke spoke before the older woman can realize. “Looks like you’re stuck with me,”

Lexa smiles, “That doesn’t sound too bad,” her words makes the blonde smile. “Come on, let’s get some drinks,” the two make their way to the cooler, and pulling out two beers. “You can hold your liquor, right?” Lexa offers the beverage to Clarke. The blonde rolls her eyes and takes the bottle. After several sips Lexa questions Clarke, “So quick question,”

“Shoot,”

“What are you in college for?”

After another sip, Clarke answers, “I’m studying for my doctrine, while also trying to start my art career,”

“So a doctor and an artist, maybe I should call you Dr. Artist,” Lexa suggests.

Clarke laughs at the name, “Please don’t, that sounds like a cheesy sitcom,”

The older woman fakes a hurt expression. “I love cheesy sitcoms, thank you very much,” she states. “But think about it; painter by day and saving life’s at night, she’s Dr. Artist, coming soon to ABC,”

“Okay, that's not bad,” Clarke admits.

“Yo blondie!”

The pair turn to see a young dark skin man. “Wells!” Clarke screams, running towards him. Giving her friend a big hug.

“It’s good to see you too,” Wells greets, before noticing Lexa. “Who’s your friend?”

“Oh right, Wells this is Anya’s half-sister Lexa,” Clarke introduces the two.

“Lexa uh, mind if I call you Lex?”

Lexa raises an eyebrow, “Do I look like a bald man with a hate boner for Kryptonians?”

Wells laughs at the woman's joke, “I like her,” he comments. “You guys enjoy the party, I’ll catch you later,” and like that Wells vanish into the crowd.

Later, on the way back home the two sisters sat in the front of the car. “They’re so peaceful when they're asleep,” Lexa comments after taking a look at Clarke and Raven. “Thanks for this,”

“No problem sis,” Anya tells her.

Chapter Text

“So what are we doing here today, Titus?” Lexa asks the man. The two stood in Mount Weather gym before it opens.

“Well, since you’re a fan of boxing and Women’s UFC, and that you’re a decent fighter; you might have a future in it,” the older man answers.

“You think so?”

Titus nods, “Yes, but not without practice, so I asked a personal friend of mine over,”

The sound of the doors opening draws the attention of the two. It is a man that seems to be around Titus' age, “Titus you old so and so, how you been?” he greets.

Titus embraces his friend, “I’m good, you?” He asks back.

“The pacemaker still going,” the man answers. “So that’s your new protege,” he points out to a stunned Lexa.

“Oh right, Lexa this is...”

“Ted Grant!” Lexa calls out, cutting off Titus. She eagerly shakes the older man's hand, “It’s an honor sir,”

Ted chuckles at Lexa's excitement, “I like this one,” he comments.

“How do you two know each other?”

“Ted and I go way back,” Titus answers. “He even helped me teach Anya and Gaia a few things,”

“Cool,” Lexa comments.

“So you what do you say wanna go a few rounds with a living legend?” Ted asks.

“That depends, can you keep up in your old age?” Lexa questions put on a pair of gloves, and steps into the ring.

Ted follows the woman, “I may be old, but I can still give a young punk a good beating,”

The two fights bounce around the ring, fists at the ready. Lexa attacks first, throwing a jab at the older man. Ted bobs and weaves away from them then retaliates with a left hook. Lexa barely blocks the blow, the woman stayed on the defense as the attacks kept coming. After finding an opening, Lexa delivers an uppercut to Ted’s side. The woman wounds up a punch, letting it loose. Ted blocks it and counters with a quick jab. The attack staggers Lexa, unable to defend herself from the incoming assault. The woman manages to recover and starts to dodge the onslaught. With a powerful punch, Lexa knocks Ted on his back. “How’s that?” Lexa asks.

Ted chuckles, “Not bad kid, but you still got work on your defense,”

“I’ll start as soon as I can,” Lexa responds, the woman spots the clock and her eyes widen. “Crap! I got to get to work, it was awesome meeting you, Mr. Grant,” she says as she practically jumps out of the ring.

Titus watches as Lexa grabs her things. “You need a ride?” He asks.

“Thanks, but it’s not that far, I’ll catch you later,” Lexa answers, exiting the gym.

Titus turns to his friend, “What do you think?”

“She has a natural talent,” Ted answers. “Honestly, I shouldn't have held back; that kid got the potential to become a champion.”

Titus pats Ted on the back, “Then we’ll start training as soon as possible,”

Eight hours later

“Alright, I’ll see you, tomorrow boss,” Lexa says as she left the fast-food restaurant. It is a little past dusk in the city. Before making her way back home she spots someone. “Is that Gaia?” Lexa thought.

Teen tries to speed walk away from an older guy. “Hey, gorgeous, where you going?”

“Away from you,” Gaia answers.

“No, you’re not,” the guy reaches out and grabs the teen’s wrist.

Before anything could escalate, Lexa interrupts the interaction. “We have a problem here?” she asks with a fake smile.

“Stay out of this,” the guy retorts.

Lexa raises her hands in defense, “Woah, buddy I’m just a concern citizen, and I don't think likes being touched,”

“Yeah, and what are you going to do about it?”

“That depends, how much do you like your hands?” Lexa asks, glaring into the guy’s eyes.

The guy lets Gaia loose, "This isn't over," he warns, walking away from the sisters.

"Lexa...." Gaia starts.

"Who the hell was that?" Lexa interjects.

Gaia sighs at the older woman, “He a stalker,” she says. “It’s been going on for about two weeks,”

The older sister crosses her arms, “And why am I hearing about this now?”

“Because usually, I avoid him,”

“Until today,” Lexa adds.

“Yeah, the reason I didn't say anything was that he threaten everyone else,” Gaia explains.

“Luckily he doesn't know I'm your sister, I’ll take care of him,” before Lexa could leave, Gaia grabs her by the arm.

“Lexa, please don't go, this guy is dangerous,” the teen begs.

“So am I,” the woman states, Lexa looks into Gaia's worried face. The woman sighs, “Let’s make a deal, if I'm not home by ten o'clock tell Indra and Titus, ok?” Gaia nods. “Okay, now go home,” Lexa orders.

“But...”

“Get your ass home, NOW!” Gaia listens to Lexa and heads home. Lexa goes the way the guy went. After turning the corner she spots him. The woman stalks the guy, following him through the streets. The guy enters an apartment building with Lexa close behind him. The two enter the elevator, the guy didn't recognize Lexa due to the fact is that she wore a face covering. Once reaching the floor, Lexa waits for a few seconds before exiting. She watches the guy enter his apartment, before making a move Lexa sees a pizza guy going towards said apartment. “Hey, that pizza for here?” the pizza guy nods. “Here you go, keep the change,” she tells him while taking the pizza. As soon as the delivery guy left, Lexa knocks on the door.

“Who is it?”

“Your pizza!” Lexa yells. As soon as the door was slightly ajar, the woman kicks it open.

“What the fuck,” the guy states, scrambling to his feet. He pulls a gun on Lexa, “I don't know who you are, but you better stay the fuck back,” the guy warns. Lexa slowly approach him, the guy let off a few rounds; the bullet melted down into nothing before reaching her. The guy stares in disbelief, Lexa attacks with a flying knee; knocking him down. As soon the guy gets up, Lexa attacks him; she punches the guy a few times then grabs him by the shirt and pushes him against the wall, then lifts the guy into the air to slam him onto the coffee table. Lexa waits as the guy struggles to get up, before kicking him over the couch. The guy scrambles into the kitchen, grabbing a knife; he swings at Lexa, and the woman avoids the swipes. Lexa's attacker trusts the blade at her, the woman uses her forearm to push the attack. Lexa grabs the man's arm and brings her knee into the guy's gut; she then takes him to a window and sends his head through it.

Lexa pulls the guy back in, his face covered in scratches and cuts. The woman takes the arm that touched her sister and breaks it. The guy screams in pain before Lexa covers his mouth. "Listen... If you ever go near Gaia Woods or her family ever again, I'll make sure you'll never be able to feel anything below the neck, got it?" the woman warns creating a fireball, the man nods, "Good," Lexa lets the guy go and exits the apartment.

Woods Residents

In the living room, Gaia paces it, nibbling on her nails; the sound of footsteps gains her attention. She turns to see Anya, coming from the stairs. “Yo Gaia, why are you so jumpy?” She asks.

“No reason,” Gaia answers.

Anya shrugs, "Did Lexa come home, yet?"

"No, but she would be here now,"

"Gaia rights," Indra states, "I hope she is all right,"

Titus checks his watch, "It's almost ten,"

Right as Gaia is about to say something, Lexa bursts through the door. "Sorry I'm late, everyone; I bought everyone ice cream," she shows the family the bags. The teen lets out a sigh of relief at the sight of her sister. An hour later, Gaia lay in her bed reading a magazine, Lexa knocks on the door. "Busy?"

The teen sits up on the bed, "No, not right now," Lexa sits next to her. "Thanks for taking care of that creep,"

Lexa smiles, "Of course, what are sisters for,"

"So did you kill him?" Gaia questions.

"Dude!?"

The teen puts her hands up, "Hey, the way you said sounded real mafia-like," Gaia admits.

Lexa chuckles at the statement. "No, I didn't kill him; I just had a violent convocation," she explains.  "Oh, and one more thing,"

"What?" the teen asks before getting slugged in the arm, "Ow!" she wines.

"Next time something like that happens, tell somebody, got it?" Lexa warns.

Gaia rubs her arm, "Point taken," the sound of Lexa's phone catches her attention, "Who's that?"

"Just Clarke texting," Lexa answers checking her phone.

"Oh," Gaia states, in a quick movement, the teen yanks the phone out of the woman's hand.

Lexa jumps off the bed, "Okay, you're messing around too much, give me my phone,"

"Come get it then," with that the teen sprints out the room.

"GAIA!" The woman yells chasing after her sister.

Chapter Text

“Whatcha doing doc?” Lexa asks speaking into the phone.

“Right now, nothing,” Clarke answers.

“Lucky you, I sadly have to go to work,”

“Man, it sucks to suck,”

Lexa laughs at the response, “Screw you,”

“Hey, I say it how I see it,” Clarke smirks, “I have to go,”

“No problem, ask the others when we can hang out again,”

“Definitely,”

With that, Clarke hangs up the phone. Lexa puts away her phone and pulls on her cowl, then strips out of her normal clothes; leaving the woman in her costume. Lexa takes off into the air, flying through the city. The woman spots the other three villains on a roof of a building. “Look who made it on time,” Azgeda states.

“Eat a dick ice queen,” Lexa retorts.

“After you,”

Before the two could continue, Sheidheda cuts in. “Enough! Both of you,”

“At least you two are ready for a fight,” Disciple comments, “Because we're about to into one,” the villains see an armored convoy, driving along the streets.

“Leave it to Wallace incorporated to hire mercenaries,” Azgeda acknowledges. “You think you can handle it, got head?” The ice villain began to create an ice bridge long for the two to be in possession. Once in range. Azgeda drops down, forming a giant ice spike, and impales it in front of the armored truck. The surrounding card comes to a screeching halt; armed men exit the first car, only for Lexa to come in and land one of the men. The villain then leaps over the car and takes the other’s gun and knocks out the mercenary. By the back car, Disciple and one of his clones both take out the men in the car. With the driver and passenger trapped inside the front of the truck, the three villains make their way to the back of it. Lexa generates enough heat to melt the locks on the door.

Disciple opens the truck doors, only to be punched by Sky Princess, while Azgeda is struck by lightning and Lexa was tied up in vines and thrown. “Don’t you just hate it when you open something up, and it’s never what you expected?” Sky states, exiting the vehicle.

The three villains stood back to back, ready to fight as the superheroes surround them. “Not today,” they hear as shadows begin to cover them in the next moment, the villains were gone.

“Well that was anticlimactic,” Trikru states.

“That’s not like Shiedheda to not fight us,” Grounder adds.

Sky Princess nods, “You’re right,”

Somewhere else

Lexa and the other villains reappear on top of a building where Sheidheda stood. “What was that for?” Azgeda questions.

“I’m glad he did you did,” Discipline comments. “We should have known the Arkers would have convinced the company to make a decoy,”

“They’re getting smarter,” Lexa states.

The half-demon nods, “And I didn’t want to break you out of a swat car. Disciple can find out where Wallace incorporated hiding?” Sheidheda asks.

“Of course, but it’ll take a couple of weeks to be sure,” the villain answers before vanishing.

“You can go too, Azgeda,” Sheidhda dismisses the ice queen.

“Gladly,” Azgeda leaves the pair.

The two villains stood in silence. “What do you want to talk about old man?” Lexa asks.

“Nothing, I just wanted to know how are things, you have been to the hideout in a while,” Shiedheda responded.

“You know the rules: no information on our personal life, besides you, created them,” Lexa explains.

“And I did that to make sure we don’t rat each other out, I just want to know if you’re alright, firefly?”

Lexa shrugs, “I’m fine, I have a place to stay; where I don't have to wear my costume twenty-four-seven,”

The half-demon nods, “Fair enough, if need anything I'm right here,”

“You’ll be the first to know,” with that Lexa takes off. The woman flies through the city, passing many of the buildings, and reaches her destination. While changing her phone goes off, “What’s up, Gaia?” Lexa answers.

“Hey, Lexa. Can you do me a huge favor?” the teen asks.

“Depends?”

“Can you go to the rec-center, and get something for me?” Gaia asks.

Lexa rolls her eyes, “Fine, you’re lucky I'm close,”

“Thanks, you're the best!”

“I know.” The woman hangs up and makes her way to the rec center. On the journey, Lexa receives a text about the room number. When arriving at the rec center, the woman enters. “Excuse me, can you point me to room two ten?” she asks.

“It’s down the hall on the right,” the receptionist answers.

“Thanks,” Lexa heads in the direction she was told. When reaching the door, Lexa opens it. The woman meets an unsuspecting sight, it was Clarke in a room full of kids, wearing an apron.

Clarke turns her attention to the woman. “Lexa, what are you doing here?”

Still in shock, Lexa answers, “I came to pick something up for Gaia, but clearly, she lied,”

“That sounds like her,”

“You seem busy, maybe I should leave?” Lexa states.

Clarke catches the woman's wrist. “No, stay, maybe I can teach you a few painting tricks,” the blonde suggests.

Lexa looks into the younger woman's blue eyes, “Okay,” she gives in.

“Good,” Clarke pulls Lexa in front of the children. “Everyone, meet our new student, Lexa,”

“Hi, Lexa,” the kids greet.

“Sup, kids,” Lexa greets back, making her way to the back of the room, and takes a seat next to a blonde boy. “Having fun?” she asked.

“I sure am, my name’s Aiden,” the boy spoke.

“Nice to meet you,” Hours later, the parents came to pick up their kids. “That was fun,” Lexa comments.

Clarke smiles, “I’m glad you liked it, though I  thought you had work?”

“Slow day, got to leave early,” the woman answers. The two women head out of the building. “So not only are you an artist, a doctor in training, but you are also a teacher. I  guess I should call you Mrs. Dr. Artist,”

Clarke laughs at the nickname as the two walk the streets of Arkadia, “God, you’re such a dork,”

“Am I at least a cute one?” Lexa asks, Making her best puppy dog face.

The blonde inspects the woman, “Kinda,”

Clarke's statement shocks Lexa, “Wow, that actually hurt,” The two reach Clarke's house, and before the blonde could make it to the porch, Lexa stops her. “Clarke, can I take you out on a date?”

The question stops the blonde in her tracks. “I don't know, Lexa. My ex broke up with me because I was too busy,”

“Busy is good in fact, I’ll be a bit busy too; Titus is going to start training me, he and Ted think I have a shot in women's UFC,” Lexa admits.

“That’s great,” Clarke comments, “Okay, one date at Sky Nation, this Thursday,”

The woman smiles, “That’s perfect, I love bowling,”

“Good, but please don't be a sore loser,” with that the Blonde enters her home.

The Wood’s resident

The family sat around the living room, enjoying a movie. “You little piece of-” Lexa begins to blurt out but is stopped by Indra’s death stare. “Crap,” Lexa finishes.

Titus pauses the movie, “Okay, what did this one due, this time?”

“She had me walk all the rec center for nothing,” Lexa answers.

“Ha!” Anya laughs out.

Indra looks at her daughters, “Gaia, why would you do that?”

“It’s fine,” Lexa interjects. “They're actually some good to come out of it, I got a date with Clarke on Thursday,” The family gave the woman smiles. “What?”

“Nothing, just happy for you,” Titus answers.

“So where are you going?”

“How’d it happen?”

“Girls!” Indra calls out, quitting the younger sisters. “Lexa doesn't need to be bombarded with questions,” the woman turns to the oldest. “I’m happy for you,”

Lexa gives a nervous smile, “Thanks,” before heading up the stairs, Lexa turns to Indra. “Oh um, I was wondering if could teach me how to drive?”

“I would love to, Lexa,”

Lexa nods and goes to her room, plopping onto the bed to process what happened.

Chapter Text

Octavia enters Mount Weather gym, where she spots Titus and Lexa. "Yo, Titus, Lexa," She greets the pair.

"Octavia, What are you doing here?" Lexa asks.

"I called her here," Titus answers. "She's here for your training,"

Lexa gives the man a questioning look, “Really?”

“Right you don't know; once a year the gym holds a torment for all members, and Octavia here is the second-best fighter,” Titus explains.

Lexa chuckles, “No way Rocker girl is the second, then who's first?” she asks.

“Anya,” Titus and Octavia both answered.

“Ah,” is all Lexa could say. “Well then, I guess I don't need to hold back,”

“Funny, I was going to say the same thing,” both fighters stared at each other.

Titus steps between the two, “Okay ladies, get some pads on and get in the cage,” The women did as they were instructed, now clad in body pads the two circle one another. “And... Begin!” Octavia is the first to charge, leaping into the air to deliver a punch. Lexa avoids it and goes in for a quick jab, only for it to be deflected. The woman then goes for a spin kick, but Octavia drops down and sweeps her leg. Lexa jumps right back up and charges at her opponent; throwing punches and kicks, keeping the rocker on the defensive. The woman jumps off the cage's wire, delivering a kick to Octavia’s padded head. The two fighters continue to block and trade blows, finishing each other off with a front kick. “Alright, that's enough you two,” Titus tells them. “Good job Octavia, glad to see that you are keeping up with your training,”

Octavia shrugs, “To be fair, I only have this and the band, so it keeps me busy,”

“You gave a real challenge, not rocker girl,” Lexa complements.

“You too,”

Titus chuckles at the women, “I can’t wait for the tournament, you two are going to make a great show for everyone,”

“I can't either, Lexa states before turning to Octavia, “I hope you’re fine with third-best,”

Octavia raises an eyebrow, “Is that a challenge?”

“Maybe,”

Octavia nods, “Okay, let's go another round then?”

Lexa smirks, “You’re on rocker girl,” the two square off in the cage once another.

A few hours later

“Are you okay?” Indra asks from the passage seat.

Lexa nods, “Yep,”

“Can you see through all your mirrors?”

“Yep,”

“You got your seatbelt on?”

“Of course,”

“Okay, now you wanna slow push the gas pedal,” Indra instructs. Lexa does as she is told, slowly pushing the pedal. The car goes down the street, “Now, make a right at the end of the street,” Lexa turns the wheel, making a turn around the corner of the street.  “See, you’re a natural,” Indra complements.

“Thanks,”

Lexa continues to drive along the streets, “You see that car right there?” Indra points out. Lexa nods, “You’re going to do everybody's fair it, parallel parking. Now, here is what you do; you want to line up with the mirror, then reverse back and turn,”

Lexa did as she was told, following the instructions of the woman who gave it to her. Stopping the car mere inches behind the other one. “How was that?”

“Perfect,” Indra states, smiling at the younger woman. This made Lexa blush a little, Indra checks her watch. “I think that's enough, time to head home,”

With that, Lexa pulls out and starts to drive back home. They sat in silence as she drove. Once reaching the house, Lexa pulls into the driveway. “I really appreciate this, thank you, mom,”

"You just called me mom,"

Lexa’s cheeks turn red at that moment, “I…I,” she stutters, only for Indra to give the woman a tight hug. A little hesitant, Lexa finally gives a hug back. “Please don’t the others?”

Indra smiles, “It’ll be our little secret,”

The women exit the car and head into the house. The door opens, revealing Anya and Gaia. “Good your back, come on,”

“To where?” Lexa asks.

“Anya and I always have a sister day at least once a month,” Gaia answers. “And since you are also our sister, that means you have to come too,” the teen states pulling the woman to the car.

“Be home by diner,” Indra says.

“Of course,” Anya follows her sisters into the car. “Look on the bright side, we can get you new clothes for your date,”

Lexa looks at her outfit, “What’s wrong with my clothes?”

Arkadia Mall

The three sisters sat around a table in the food court, each having a cup of Auntie Annie cinnamon pretzel nuggets and bags of clothes. “Ready?” Gaia asks, Lexa a confirmative noise. The teen lightly tosses a nugget into the woman’s mouth.

That’s ten in a row, impressive,” Anya comments.

Soon a group of guys joins the sisters, “Well hello, ladies,” one greets.

Each of the sisters states an excuse, “Not interested,” Lexa start.

Anya follows with, “I’m a lesbian,”

“And I have a ten-inch dick,” Gaia finishes.

The boys quickly left the table. “Did you really have to say that?” Questions Anya.

“It worked didn’t it?”

“She has a point, Anya.” Lexa comments.

Chapter Text

Inside her room, Lexa checks herself in the mirror. The woman smiles at the results. Lexa begins to head for the front door but is met by everyone in the living room. “Hey, guys,” she greets awkwardly.

“We wanted to wish you luck,” Gaia says.

“Thanks,”

As Lexa exits the house, she could hear the others, “Go get her, Romeo!” Anya calls out.

“Have fun!” Indra comments next.

“But not too much fun!” Titus adds.

Lexa didn't turn back, not wanting the family to see her blush. Once turning the corner; Lexa checks her surroundings, before generating fire under her feet and takes off. The woman tries her best to follow the GPS direction. Lexa lands a few yards from Clarke's house, she could barely see the blonde sitting on the porch. As soon as the woman was in range, Lexa calls out to Clarke. “Waited long,”

Clarke smiles at Lexa, “If I knew you were walking I would have picked you,” she states.

“Don’t worry, I’m used to walking everywhere,” the older woman waved off. “Ready to go?”

“Yep,” Clarke answers, jumping out of her seat. “I hope you’re bowling skills are as good as your fighting,"

"I guess there's only one way to find out," the pair start to make their way along the streets into the city. Luckily for them, Sky Nation wasn't too far from the Griffins' house. Lexa rushes to the door and opens it, "After you,"

Clarke chuckles before entering, "Thank you," inside, the bowling alley is full to the brim with people. Both women head for the counter.

"Clarke, how you been?" the clerk asks.

"Hey Jasper, remember my size?"

"Of course," Jasper answered. "Who’s your friend?”

“This is Lexa,” Clarke answers.

Jasper smiles, “Nice to meet you,” the clerk sticks his hand out.

“Nice to meet you too,” Lexa shakes his hand.

“So, what size are you?”

“Nine and a half,”

Jasper goes to the cubbies and pulls out two pairs of bowling shoes. “Here you go ladies, and you’re in pan five, have fun,”

“Thanks, Jasper,” says Clarke as she and Lexa head towards their lane.

“You get your shoes on, and I’ll put our names in,” Lexa suggests.

Clarke nods and begins to swap her shoes. After getting the bowling shoes on; when the woman looks up at the scoreboard, she saw the names. It said Doctor Artist and Commander. “Really?”

Lexa shrugs at the blonde, “What? I like those names,” she admits.

“Whatever,” Clarke playfully rolls her eyes. “Now, are you ready to lose or what?” With that, Clarke picks up a ball and rolls down the lane. The ball knocks down almost half the pins, then picks up another and knocks the rest down. “Try and keep up,” Clarke said with a wink.

Lexa simply gets up, taking a ball and rolling it into the pins; she earns herself a strike. “I think I’ll manage,” Lexa teases.

After several rounds of bowling and flirting, the two women were in their last frame; both scores were even. Clarke rolls her last ball and gets a spare. Now in her last frame, Lexa takes her ball. The woman rolls it down the lane, striking half of the pins. Lexa gets her second ball, and she sends it down the lane, but the ball goes into the sides and passes the rest of the pins. “Oh, so close.” Clarke teases.

Lexa shrugs, “I guess you're the better bowler,” she states with a grin.

“Well, at least you know that,” the blonde gets off her seat. “Come on, let's get out of here.

After the pair left the building they make their way to Clarke's house. When reaching the front porch; the door springs open, revealing an older couple. “Good, you’re just in time for dinner,” spoke a woman.

“Oh, mom, dad. This is Lexa,” Clarke greets

“Indra’s firstborn right?” the man asks. Lexa nods, “Would you like to stay for dinner?”

“Yeah sure, Mr. Griffin,” Lexa answers.

“Please, call me Marcus,”

“And you can call me Abby,” the woman asks. “Now, you two go get ready,”

Sometime later

After dinner, the two women were in Clarke’s room. “Your parents are cool,” Lexa comments, inspecting the room. It was full of pictures, drawings, and paintings. Lexa spots a picture of what looks like a young Clarke and an older man. “Who’s this, your uncle?”

Clarke saddens at the picture. “That's my father.“ she admits.

“I see,” Lexa states, “If you don't mind me asking, how did he pass away?”

“He was an engineer, and on the job, he took a fatal blow,”

“I’m sorry if I bought back bad memories,” Lexa apologizes.

“No, no, it's fine,” Clarke frantically tries to calm the woman. “I do miss him though,”

“I wish, I can say the same about my old man,” Lexa murmured to herself.

The pair laid in silence on Clarke's bed. “Mind if I ask you a question?” asks Clarke

“You just did,” Lexa answers with a grin and earned herself an attack from one of the many pillows.

“Not what I meant, you ass,” the blonde chuckles. “I’ve been thinking about this a lot; what made you search for Indra?"

Lexa's face changes into that sadness, "To be honest, I wanted to know what would it be like to be part of a family for once,"

Clarke takes Lexa's hand in hers. "And how is it working out so far?"

"Like hole that's slowly being filled,"

Clarke smiles at her, "Well I'm happy for you,"

"As much as I would love to lay on this comfy bed with you, I need to head home before they send a search party," Lexa gets off the bed with Clarke following her. The two exit the room and go down to the living room, "It was nice to meet, Abby and Marcus," the older couple wave back. On the porch, Lexa turns to the blonde, "So, what do you think, good enough for a second date?"

Clarke leans in and kisses Lexa on the cheek, "You're picking what we're doing next, I want to be surprised,"

"You got it doc," Lexa smiles. "Call you later,"

"Can't wait,"

Warning: G!p Lexa

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Mid-day in Arkadia university cafe, Clarke sits at a table along with Raven and Octavia. “So you’ve been a lot happier lately,” Octavia comments.

Clarke simply shrugged with a grin, “Okay spill, what's going on, be sides Lexa?” Raven question the blonde.

“Guys it's nothing,” Clarke tells her friends. “Except this,” she slides to envelopes to the two women.

Both Raven and Octavia open them to see an invitation. Their eyes widen at the sight of paper, “Clarke, is this what we think this?”

Clarke nods with a smile, both women squeal in excitement and rush toward the blonde, bringing her into a group hug. Raven is the first to separate, “We have to read it out loud, ‘You and plus one, are invited to a Wayne Enterprise funded art showcase; with feature artist, Clark Griffin.’”

“This is great Clarke,” Octavia comments. “You get art shown and auction off,”

“Plus you could rub elbows with Bruce Wayne, or you know, help get me a job,” Raven adds.

The others roll their eyes at the Latina. “Oh, Octavia, there's one for Bell with yours,” Clarke informs.

“Speaking of inventions,” Raven spoke, pointing at Lexa walking towards them.

“Hey, baby,” Clarke embraces her girlfriend.

“Hello to you too,” the couple share a heated kiss.

Octavia signals Raven and left the pair. Once separating, Clarke and Lex take a seat at the table. “So, I have great news; my art is being showcased at this year's art Gala,”

“That's amazing, isn't Wayne enterprise funding it?” the blonde nodes. “I can’t wait to see it after you talking about it for like ever,”

“Oh don't be a baby, you'll get see at the Gala,” Lexa's body tenses at her words. “You are coming, right?”

“Clarke, I don't know, I’m not comfortable being around all those rich people,” Lexa answers. “I don’t want them to see me, and it ruins your chance to become some big artist,”

“Lexa, I don't care what people think please this means a lot to me, and I want to share with you,” Clarke takes the woman's hands into hers.

Lexa rubs the blonde's hand with her thumb. “I’ll think about it,”

The night of the gala

“So you’re not going?” Anya asks behind a door.

“Anya, I don't want to make a fool of myself. I don't do well with strangers, you know how long it took me to get used to all of you,” Lexa explains.

“She kinda has a point babe,” Raven states.

“Fine, I'll let it go,”

“It's a shame Clarke won't have anyone, but her ex,” Raven begins to count down with her fingers.

Lexa opens the door, “Alright, I’ll go, but I'm gonna need a-”

“Tux?” Anya suggests.

“Okay one, you’re a good sister and wing woman, and two, you guys work too well together,”

Raven shrugs, “That’s what makes us a good couple,”

Arkadia Art Museum

Clarke gets herself a few appetizers, “Thank you,” she tells the server, as he left.

“Hey, Stranger,”

Clarke turns to see a blonde in a black dress, “Niylah,” she greets hugging the woman. “I’m glad you came,”

Niylah shrugs, “Supporting you is the least I can do, after breaking up with you," Niylah looks around the area. "Well, I see your parents, the Blakes, but no Anya and Raven?"

"They're on their way,"

Niylah raises an eyebrow at the blonde, "And no special someone to share this night with you?"

Before Clarke could say anything, a voice stops her. "I wouldn't say I'm special, just her girlfriend,"  both blondes turn to see Lexa in a navy blue tux that matches Clarke's dress, the sides of her braided. "Hey, I’m Lexa," she holds out her hand.

"Niylah," The blonde shakes Lexa's hand. "I should leave you two,"

As soon as Niylah was gone, Clarke turns to her girlfriend and slaps the woman on the arm. "I thought you weren't coming, asshole,"

"I wasn't but-"

"But, Raven told you my ex was going to be here, and you got a little jealous, huh?" Clarke asks, cutting Lexa off.

"No," Lexa scoffs.

"It's fine if you did, I think it's sexy," Clarke begins to rub Lexa's chest and gives her a seductive look.

"Then I was jealous as hell,"

"I was lying," Clarkes laughs. "But I'm happy you're here." She takes Lexa’s arm, and the couple walks around to admire the art. While walking, Clarke could feel her girlfriend’s arm tense; putting a hand softly on Lexa’s cheek and looking into her eyes. “Lexa, don’t worry about anyone else just focus on you and me, okay?” The blonde connects their foreheads.

Lexa nods, “Thanks doc,”

Clarke smiles, “Anytime,” she says placing a kiss on the older woman's lips. “Come on, want you to be in the front row when it's time,” The blonde pulls her girlfriend to a gathering of people.

In front of everyone stood a tall man, “Ladies and gentlemen, we are here to celebrate this year’s newest talent. I a representative of Wayne Enterprise, I am more than certain Mr. Wayne would agree with me; that this young woman’s art is one of a kind. Now presenting ‘Unbroken Warrior’ by Clarke Griffin,” with that the curtain drops, revealing a magnificent painting of Lexa. There shows the woman’s back with a wing attached, both her hands warped in bandages.

Lexa’s eyes begin to fill up with tears. She turns to Clarke and crashes their lips together in a heated kiss. When separating, The blonde chuckles, “I take it you like it.”

“I love it,” Lexa confirms, circling her girlfriend’s waist with her arms. The pair continue to admire the painting, “Funny we’ve been together for only a couple of weeks and now your art is being auction off, maybe I’m your good luck charm.”

“Maybe?”

Later that evening as the gala begins to come to the end, Clarke and Lexa make their way to Clarke’s car. “You didn’t ride your parents?”

“No, had to get here early,” Clarke answers as she starts the vehicle.

“Good, because I want to take you somewhere private to celebrate,” The older woman states giving the blonde a seductive smile. Clarke drives to the nearest hotel and gets the pair a one-night stay. Once the door to their room is closed, Clarke pushes Lexa onto the bed. The blonde proceeds to unzip her dress, while Lexa removes her jacket and unbuttons her shirt. After her dress falls to the floor, Clarke climbs on top of Lexa and gives the woman a passionate kiss. The blonde then slowly kisses her way down her girlfriend, from her neck to her abs. Finally reaching her pants, Lexa stops Clarke. “Wait, before we keep going, I got to tell you that I have a penis,” the woman warns.

Clarke gives her girlfriend smirk before pulling down Lexa’s pants and underwear. “Well, this is a big surprise.” She comments. Straddling the older woman’s lap and the two continue to make out, Clarke starts to grind on the hard member. Lexa moans as she could feel the wetness through Clarke’s panties. The older woman moves one of Clarke’s bra cups and takes a nipple into her mouth.

Lexa flips the both of them, now on top. She sinks in front of the damp undergarments, moving them to the side Lexa swipes her tongue along Clarke’s wetness, savoring the taste. The blonde moans at the sensation. The older woman wraps her lips around her girlfriend’s clit, sucking it as she puts two fingers into the gushing folds. Clarke grips Lexa’s hair a pushes head closer, moaning her name out loud. The blonde bites her lip as she came undone. Lexa greedily takes the juices into her mouth; once she stood again the older woman removes the remaining article of cloths and retrieves a condom from her wallet. After placing the rubber on her penis, Lexa climbs on top of Clarke. “Are you ready?” The blonde gives the older woman a quick node. Lexa inserts her member into her girlfriend, electing a moan out of both of them. The two kiss as Lexa thrust into Clarke.

“Lexa…” the blonde moans as she claws the other woman’s back. “I’m gonna cum again,”

“Me too, Clarke,” Lexa moans, “Let’s cum together,” with a few more thrusts both woman reach their climax, crying out each other’s name. When coming down from their high, Lexa pulls her flaccid member out of Clarke and lays beside her. “That was amazing.” She comments.

“Please tell me you have more condoms, because I’m far from done,” Clarke states, straddling Lexa’s hips already feeling her girlfriend’s hard member pressed against her butt.

“I may have few more,” Lexa laughs, bringing the blonde back down for another kiss.

Chapter Text

the following day, Lexa woke up to the sound of the phone. She unwraps herself from Clarke, picking up the device. Lexa sees that Anya texted her.

Anya: You owe me and Octavia

told mom and dad you were spending the nights at Clarke’s, and O told the Griffin’s, Clarke will be at ours

Lexa: Thanks, sis.

Anya: No problem.

As soon as Lexa pus away her phone, she could feel her girlfriend stir in her arm. “Good morning, beautiful,” Lexa places a kiss on Clarke’s lips.

Clarke smiles at the other woman, "Right back at you,"

Lexa gets off the bed, "Apparently, we owe Anya and Octavia,"

"Of course, we do," Clarke comments, as she also gets off the bed.

The Woods’ Residents

As soon as Lexa enters the house, Anya and Gaia grab the woman. “Girls, was that Lexa?”

“Yeah, mom,” Gaia answers, the three sisters make their way upstairs.

“She needs to get ready for work,” Anya adds. The younger sisters push Lexa into the bathroom.

“Here,” Gaia gives the woman a towel and rag.

Before Lexa could ask the two questions, Anya spoke. “This is so mom and dad won’t interrogate you,”

“Yeah, this isn’t the first time a woods daughter came home from a good night with a special someone,” the youngest sister comments.

“Okay, I didn’t need to hear that from you, also I’m twenty-one,” Lexa retorts.

“True, but do you want to tell mom that you had sexy time with your girlfriend, last night?” Anya asks, leaving her sister speechless. “Exactly.”

“Then thanks again,” as soon as the door closes, the woman starts her shower. After entering her room, Lexa could hear the buzzing of her communicator; there was a message that stated It’s time. The woman sighs as she puts on her work uniform, and picks up her duffle bag. When exiting the room, Lexa was met with both Indra and Titus. “Hey guys,” she greets.

“Hello Lexa,” Titus greets back.

“So what’s up,”

“Even with your sisters' great cover-up, we and the Griffins knew where you were,” India tells her daughter.

“And your mother and I know about your condition,” Lexa's face turns pale at the man’s words. “Lexa, don't worry you're an adult; what you do in private time, is your business,”

“Just please use protection,”

Lexa puts her hands up in protest. “As much as I would love to have this conversation, I really need to get,” the woman shimmies away from the older couple. “I’ll see you guys later,”

“Don’t work too hard, you got training tomorrow!” Titus calls out.

“I promise won’t, dad!” Lexa shouts back as she exits the house.

Both adults stood in shock at what the woman said. “Did she just...” Titus states in astonishment, turning to his wife.

“I heard, honey,” Indra confirms. “She finally feels a part of the family.

Wallace Incorporated

In her costume, Lexa lands next to the other villains who waited for her. “There she is,” Sheidheda states.

“Yep, I’m here; so what's the plan?” Lexa asks.

“Straight to point, good,” Disciple comments, pulling up a hologram of the building. “This is where the particle enhancer is here," he points to a red dot.

"The security around it looks heavy," Azgeda informs.

"Don't worry, I'll get to it,"

"Good job, Disciple," Sheidheda looks at the tower. "Will enter through here, no doubt that the Arkers will be on us in no time. Disciple, leave us some clones; we'll hold them off for as long as you need.

"We got ourselves a plan, let's get to it,"

Infamous grabs the half-demon shoulder, "Before we start, I need to talk to you; in private,"

Sheidheda motions to the others to leave. Once the other villains left, he sits on the ledge. “What’s this about, firefly?”

Lexa sighs, “I want out,”

“Any particular reason?”

The villainess looks at her hands, “I can’t do this forever old man. I don't want to live my life under a cowl, I’ve met someone.”

Sheidheda smiles at Infamous, “She must be some girl,” he comments, and Lexa turns to half-demon in shock. “Don’t look so surprised, you're like a niece to me.”

“Well, there's not much competition is there?”

“Does this mean?”

Lexa nods, “Yes, I’m more than determined to kill the Arkers; anything to live a normal life,”

Sheidheda places a hand on Infamous’s shoulder, “Good, and if there's any consultation, I'm proud of you, firefly; now, come on.” the two villains flew after the others.  As Azgeda creates an ice bridge; Sheida flies into the building, breaking a large enough for all of them. “Hello, everyone if you please stay out of the way, and no one will get hurt,” the workers begin to scatter. “Disciple, go!” The villain spawns a handful of clones, before departing.

“And, here comes our friends in colorful uniforms,” Azgeda calls out.

The villains prepare for the heroes, Azgeda and the Disciple clones stand at the opening. They started firing ice shards and concussive blasts. The heroes bunch closer to Lightrenia, she teleports everyone behind the villains. "Where's was our invitation to this get-together?"

"Take them down," Sky Princess orders.

Infamous Flame ignites her hands and rushes Trikru, throwing a punch at the hero. Trikru dodges it, only to take a hit to her side; the attack burns through her suit. Trikru groans out in pain. Before Infamous could land another flame charge punch the hero's face, Trikru encased her forearm in wood to block the blow. The hero then wraps the villain in vines and throws her through a wall.

On the other hand, Lightrenia was dodging several wrist blades; as one of Disciple's clones tries to fire a concussive blast, Lightrenia teleports behind him. The hero puts the clone in a headlock, "You guys wanna see a magic trick?" She asks, releasing electricity through all the clones until they disappear. "Disciple not here!"

"What?!" Sky states in shock, as Azgeda swipes at her with ice blades.

Grounder Interrupts the two, "Go, we got this,"

With that Sky Princess flies away. Sheidheda punches Grounder into the floor. "Infamous, stop Sky!" he orders.

As Infamous follows the hero. Trikru and Lightrenia try to follow, but the pair are frozen in their tracks. "Come on ladies, the party just got started," Azgeda states.

In the hallways of the building, Infamous manages to catch up to Sky. The villain knocks the hero to the floor and begins to trough fire at Sky. The hero dodges the attacks, before punching Infamous away. The villain charges at the hero, grabbing Sky Princess's wrist and starts burning them. The hero cries out in pain, but Sky Princess endures; giving the villain a headbutt before throwing her through the ceiling. "There you are, you're missing the party Disciple," She states, reaching the room where the villain stood.

"I was never was one for parties." Disciple states, motioning to the ceiling.

Sky Princess looks up to see a bright red spot, suddenly Infamous flame came down on the hero. The pair proceed to crash through floor after floor, landing in the lobby. The hero was pounced on by Infamous. The villain repeatedly punches Sky Princess in the face, until her mouth and nose bled. With one more punch, Infamous knocks the hero's mask off, once again igniting her fist; Infamous was ready to deliver the final blow. Once the hero turns, the villain was shocked at who it was. Under Lexa was her girlfriend, Clarke. "Clarke?"

"How do you?" the hero pants out. Infamous removes her cowl to reveal Lexa, and Clarke's eyes begin to water. "Lexa?"

The woman quickly falls back, crawling back. Lexa looks at her now shaking and bloody hands. "I'm sorry," she sobs before flying out of the building.

Clarke still unable to process what happened, puts the mask back on. Soon the others came for her, "You alright?" Grounder ask.

"No, they got away," Is all the hero could say before leaving.

Chapter Text

The Griffin resident

Clarke winces as her mother wraps her arm in anti-burn cream. “This is pretty bad,” Abby states. “Infamous is never this ruthless,”

“Yeah, I guess something change,” Clarke comments. The stood back up again and heads for the door.

“Where are you going?” Kane questions his stepdaughter.

“Everyone, patrolling different parts of the city. If the Collation attack we need to be ready.”

“Please, be careful,” Abby begs.

Clarke nods, “I will, promise,” With that, the woman exits the house, and pulls out her phone. She dials a number, “Hey, we need to talk.”

Somewhere else

On one of the many of Arkadia, Clarke sat on the edge of the roof. She hears the sound of flames erupting. “I’ll be honest, I didn't think you would call me,” the hero turns and removes her cowl to look at Lexa in her Infamous Flame costume. “This must be awkward, huh?” Lexa jokes.

“Do you honestly think this is the time to jokes,” Clarke responds with venom in her voice.

“Clarke, I know you're mad-”

“Mad!” the hero cuts off the villain. “I'm fucking livid. When were you going to tell me?”

Lexa turns away from her girlfriend. “After, I got out of the Coalition after killing the Arkers,” she answers. “You have to believe me, I never wanted to hurt anyone,”

“That's kinda hard to believe, considering the previous event.” Clarke retaliates, showing Infamous's handy work.

“I didn't know it was you, I thought maybe if I didn't who it was under the mask, killing them would be easier,” Lexa explains. “Clearly, I was wrong.”

“How the hell did you get into this situation?”

Lexa sighs, “My father was the first Infamous Flame,” Clarke's eyes widen at her words. “As soon as I got my powers, he trained me to be his successor,” she continues while creating fire in her hand. “He died when I was fifteen. A week later Sheidheda found me and took me in.”

Clarke lets out a chuckle, “Of fucking course,” she states.

“What?”

Tears fill Clarke’s eye, “Your father murdered my dad.” Lexa's heart sank at the realization. “After what six, seven years; why now, huh? Why retire?”

“These past few weeks have been the best of my entire life,” Lexa answers, “Because of Indra, Titus, Anya, Gaia, the others, and you,” the woman takes Clarke's hands into her own. “I felt like I was living as Lexa for the first time, and I didn't want to lose that feeling.”

Clark shakes her head and pulls away. “I can't, all I see is the person who killed my father, and hurt me and my friends.”

Tears fell from Lexa's eyes, “Clarke, please,” she begged. “I'm not like my father,”

Clarke turns her back on the woman. “After what happened, I don't know if I can believe you,” Clarke tries her best to fight off the tears.

“Does this mean you're breaking up with me?” Lexa asks, her voice trembling.

“I don't know what this means, but I can't look at you right now,”

“Please, we can fix this; I love you, Clarke,” Lexa sobs.

“Lexa, please just go, for both our sakes.” As soon as Clarke couldn’t hear flames emitting, she collapses and cries.

Woods residents

Lexa paces her room, her mind racing. Anya knocks before entering. “Lexa, you alright?”

“Anya, I fucked up, I fucked up major,” Lexa responds.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Anya tries to calm her sister. “What’s going on?”

“It's me and Clarke,”

Lexa takes a deep breath, “We had a fight,”

“Well shit, you want me to-” Anya winced as she sat on the bed.

“Are you okay?” Lexa asks.

“Just a bruise, from a sparring match at Mount Weather.” Lexa moves her sister's shirt to see a covered burn, that was healing slowly. “Not too bad huh?” the older woman froze at the sight. “Lexa?”

“I need to go,” the woman states, picking up her duffel bag and exit the room.

“Go where?” Anya calls out.

The commotion attracts everyone else in the house. “What's going on?” Gaia asks.

The family all gathered in the living room, to see Lexa about to leave. “Girls, what happened?” Indra questions the girls.

“I can't stay here anymore,” Lexa answers. “Please, don't try to stop me.”

“Why? Is it something we did?” Titus questions the woman.

Now with tears in her eyes, Lexa speak. “I don't deserve this, I don't deserve to have a family. Thank you for having me, and I'm sorry, but not good for this family.” before reaching the door, Gaia steps I don't of her sister.

“No, you're not leaving; you are a part of this family and we going to talk this out.” The teen orders.

“I’m sorry Gaia, you were a good sister,” Lexa admits, picking up the teen and putting aside.

“Are we seriously letting this happen?”

“Gaia, this is her discussion, don't make it worse,” Titus interjects.

Anya shook her head, “No, this bullshit,”

“Anya-” Indra was about to scold her daughter.

“I'm sorry mom, but we can't sit back and leave,” the younger woman argues. “And you,” points to Lexa, “You’re just going walk away instead of talking, like a coward; fine go,”

“Lexa, is there any way we can change your mind?”

“I’m sorry this didn't work out,” is all the the woman could say before leaving the house.

Coalition Hideout

In a large luxurious mansion, Sheidheda, and others stood around a table with the device on the table. “So, am I going to use it?” Azgeda asks.

“No,” Disciple answers. “If it works, I rather not be a part of a new ice age,”

“Then that leaves me,” the villains turn to see Infamous Flame.

A grin spreads on Sheidheda’s face, “Good.”

The Ark

“So, she just left?” Bellamy asks.

“Yeah, as much as I hate that she left, I have to respect her decision,” Anya states.

“It’s all you can do, really,” Octavia adds. “And here comes our fearless leader.” She said as Clarke entered the room.

“Any news on the Coalition?” The leader questions.

Octavia turns to the monitor, “Not yet,”

“Stay on high alert; I got to blow off some steam,” Clarke makes her way to the training room.

“I’ll come with,” Anya offers.

The pair enter the room, and Anya watches as Clarke begins to punch away at a chunk of metal. Her fists made indents along with the material. “I’m guessing Lexa told you?”

“Yeah, you two had a fight,”

“It's complicated,” Clarke responded, pausing for a moment. “She didn't tell you what it was about, did she?”

“I was hoping you would,” Anya answers. “Because whatever it was, it made her runaway,” Clarke took a moment to process her friend’s word. “Clarke, I'm not blaming you. I just want to understand.”

Before the blonde could respond, the Arks go off. Both women head for the command center. “What's happening?” Clarke questions the Blakes.

“Well, there's a giant glacier downtown; that's new.” Octavia answers.

Clarke inspects the monitor, only seeing three of the villains. “Everyone suit up, and let's go.” the others follow the blonde, existing the Ark.

The superheroes flew down into Arkadia. When reaching the scene of the attack, Octavia screams, “BUS!” the heroes move out of the way for Bellamy to catch it. Clarke dives in, slamming Sheidheda into the ground. At the same time, Octavia teleports next to Disciple to deliver a kick to his chest.

When Azgeda was about to freeze the hero, her hand become bound by vines. “I don't think so,” Anya states. The villain freezes the plants and then shatters them. Azgeda creates ice fists before charging the hero.

On the other hand, Sheidheda throws Clarke into a building. The villain flies up after the hero, “What’s the matter, Sky? You seem angrier than usual?” Clarke only responded by tackling the half-demon through the hole, the pair landing on the street. Sheidheda wraps the heroine in shadows before flinging her.

“Sky!” Anya screamed, before receiving an ice-shaped fist to the face.

“Keep your eyes on me,” Azgeda states, before firing off ice shards.

Disciple manages to dodge lightning bolts and create more clones.“Where’s Infamous?” he asked.

Clarke knocks Sheidheda into a bus; the hero floats to him and throws two punches. The villain catches both of Clarke's wrists, holding her steady. Once hearing sounds of erupting flames, Clarke head-butts the villain. The hero turns to see Infamous Flame, emitting fire from her feet. Clarke flies up to the villain and Sheidheda tries to follow, but Grounder punches the half-demon. “You actually want to go through with this?“ the hero asks. Infamous didn't respond, “I guess you do,” Clarke flies at the villain, throwing a punch. Infamous cuts off the fire, falling only to shoot fire from her hands and feet; the villain flies back to her allies.

“It's about time,” Azgeda states, as the heroes approach them.

“It's over,” said Clarke, “We’ve been through this before, you’re not going to win.”

Sheidheda chuckles, “We will this time,” he comments, turning to Infamous. “Now!” the half-demon signaled.

Infamous pulls out the particle enhancer, “Ah shit,” Octavia comments.

The villain looks at Clarke, then back at the device. Infamous places it on her chest. A surge of energy shot through her body. “Wait, something's wrong,” Disciple states.

“What?” Sheidheda turns to the other villain.

“It's overcharging her if she doesn't stop, she’ll explode,” Disciple explains.

The half-demon turns back to his niece with fear in his eyes. “Infamous, STOP!” he yelled.

“I can handle it,” Infamous grits, her body began to glow bright red.

“No, you can't, please stop,” Clarke begs, but Infamous kept going. Her body begins to crack with flames creeping through. Everyone watched in horror as the villain drops to her knees and cry out in agony.

Sheidheda tries to reach out to Infamous, only to burn his. “Azgeda, hurry try to cool her down,” he ordered. The ice villain blast Infamous with ice, but it evaporates within afoot of her.

“She going to blow,” Anya comments. “Sky if you have a plan, I suggest you tell us now,” Clarke didn't hear what her friend, still listing to her girlfriend's agony. “Sky!,”

Anya shook the heroine out of her stupor. “Right, Grounder you're the only one who can possibly take the best full-on,” Bellamy nods, encasing his body in stone; he then surrounds Infamous within a ball of gravel. Clarke turns to Octavia, “Light, he's not fast enough to fly her out of the city, so help him.”

Octavia runs to her brother, putting her arm around his waist. “Ready?” Bellamy nods. Lightning charges through the heroine’s body; she took off into the air, flying as fast as he could while holding her brother. Soon the ball of gravel begins to crack, making Octavia go faster. When reaching a good height, the heroine leaves Bellamy with the gravel ball. After a few seconds, there was a loud explosion; Octavia could feel the heat wave close behind her as she raced away from the blast radius. Once avoiding it she turns to see Bellamy falling, some of his stone protection destroyed. Octavia flies to her brother, trying to grab him and avoid touching the burning hot stone; only to see a red and blue blur take him.

Back on the streets, both Clarke and Sheidheda look at the disappearing cloud of dust hoping to see Infamous. “Sheidheda, we need to go, now,” Disciple urges the half-demon.

The villain shakes out of his thoughts  “You’re right,” he choked out, Sheidheda begins to summon a portal for them, but then his body is covered in a gold ankh. “No,” he breathes out, realizing who did this.

“Sheidheda,” a booming voice calls out. Everyone turns to see Doctor Fate floating towards the half-demon. “You have evaded the lords of order for long enough.”

“Fate, release me now!” Sheidheda orders, only to be teleported with the lord of order.

After witnessing the scene both Azgeda and Disciple attempt to leave, only to be wrapped by a golden lasso. “I think you a had your fun,” Wonder Woman states as Flash came and to cuff the pair.

Clarke and Anya head toward the other heroes. “As much as we love the extra help, why are you here?” Anya questions the speedster.

“We got a tip that you might need some help.” the Flash answers.

“Thanks for the help, buts where’s Grounder?” Octavia asks reaching the streets.

“Nothing a dip in water couldn't help,” Bellamy states with Superman, “Thanks,”

“Anytime,”

“So what happens now?” Octavia asked.

“Without Sheidheda, those two aren't getting out of this,” Anya answers.

“Will take them straight to Strikers island,” Flash tells the other heroes.

“And what about Infamous Flame?” questions Clarke.

Flash and Superman look at each other, “After the explosion, we only found this,” Flash shows her a piece of Infamous’s costume.

“So she's...” Disciple begins.

“Yes,”

Clarke could feel her heart shatter in her chest.

Soon the league members take their leave. “No more Coalition, I say we go to the Ark and celebrate,” Octavia suggests, approval came from Bellamy and Anya.

“You guys go ahead, I’ll catch you later,” Clarke told her friends leaving for her house.

Chapter Text

When Clarke got home, the blonde opened the door. When entering the house, her parents were waiting for her. “Clarke!” Abby hugs her daughter.

“We saw the news,” Kane states. “We’re glad you all are safe.”

“Thanks, mom and dad,” Clarke forces a smile on her face. “I need to head to my room and hit the shower,” the woman worms her way out of her mother's grasp, making her up the stairs. When reaching her room, as soon as she closed the door and clasped it against it, putting her head on her knees.

"You seem kinda down, doc," the blonde hears, turning to the window. What Clarke saw shocked her to her core; Lexa was sitting next to the window. "You look like you've seen a ghost,"

"Lexa!?" Clarke jumps to her feet, runs to the woman, and hugs her.

Lexa hugs the blonde back, "And here I thought you hated me," Lexa states.

Clarke breaks the hug, "You ass," she says, punching the woman in the arm.

"Ow,"

"I thought you were dead," Clarke states, "And I don't hate you. I was just angry,"

Lexa chuckles, "Oh, trust me, I know,"

"So, what happens now?" Clarke ask.

Lexa shrugs at the blonde, "Well, with Infamous Flame dead, Lexa could live her life," she smiles with happiness.

"That reminds me," Clarke realizes, "How did you manage to pull that off?"

The older woman makes her way to Clarke's bed. "Well, after storming out of the only place I called home, I flew to Metropolis," Lexa starts, “That's where I found, big blue. So with a little convincing, I worked out a deal with the league; I get them Coalition, and Infamous flame stays dead. This works out because I don't have a criminal record,”

Clarke smiles at the news, “What about us?”

Lexa takes the blonde’s hand, “How about we start with a fresh start. Hi, I'm Lexa,” the woman sticks out her hand.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Clarke, and I think having a clean slate is a great idea,” the blonde said, shaking the other woman’s hand.

Woods’ residents

Lexa stood in front of the door, her heart pounding. The brunette let out a sigh before knocking; as soon as the door opened, Lexa got engulfed in a bear hug from Indra. “Hi mom, sorry about the other day,”

Titus approaches the two, “You’re fine, come inside,”

After the two women separate, Lexa follows the couple, “Wait,” she tells them. “Before you tear me a new one, I have to explain why I-“

“Lexa, we know your Infamous Flame,” Indra cuts the younger woman off.

“Wh-what?”

“It’s true, to be honest, I was a little hesitant on letting you stay,” Titus admits.

Lexa's gaze swaps between the two, “Then why did you let me stay?"

"Because Lexa, after a week of you staying with us, we learn that you deserve love too; I know your father wasn't the best, but you're my daughter, and I will always love you," Indra tells the younger woman.

"So do I. Lexa, you're a strong woman, and you just need  to be put on the right path,"

Tears began to stream out Lexa's eyes as she fell into her mother's arms, "I'm so sorry," the woman cried.

"It's okay," Indra comforts, rubbing circles in Lexa's back.

"After I saw what I did to Anya, I knew I had to leave the Coalition,"

"Don't worry, Anya will heal; after all, she takes after her old man," Titus begins to grow a rose in his hand.

Lexa smiles, "Of course she does,"

Indra pats the woman's back, "Don't worry; we won't tell the girls," she informs, hearing the door open. "Speak of the devils,"

Anya and Gaia enter the living room, "Look what the cat dragged in," Anya states noticing her older sister.

Gaia runs to the older woman, giving her a tight hug, "I'm glad your back,"

"For good this time?" Anya holds out her fist.

"For good this time," Lexa answers, bumping her fist with her sister.

Chapter 13: Three weeks later

Chapter Text

After her match in the semi-finals of the annual Mount Weather, Anya walks in to see Lexa wrapping her hands. “So, think you can beat, O?”

Lexa smiles, “Yeah, especially with dad’s training “

”Good, see you in the finals,” Anya waves off.

“Guys, I’m right here!” Octavia announces, preparing for her match.

Lexa chuckles at her rival, “Hey you,” she hears. The woman turns to see her girlfriend standing in the doorway.

“Hey yourself,” Lexa greets back, “You do know that only the fighters are allowed back her right?”

“Yeah, but I wanted to give you something,” Clarke admits.

Lexa gave the blonde a seductive look, “And what may that be?”

The two women press their lips together, sharing a heated kiss. “A good luck kiss,” Clarke answers.

Lexa pouts, “Can I get another one?”

Clarke chuckles, “After you kick Octavia’s ass,”

“BITCH! I’m right here,” Octavia calls out. “You know what, I’m not going easy on her,” with that, the rocker left the couple.

“I guess that’s your queue,” the two separate from one another. “Go, get-’em tiger,” Clarke gives Lexa a pat on the butt.

Lexa gives her girlfriend a playful look before exiting. The woman exits the back, outside the gym was filled with the people of Arkadia. Lexa makes her way toward the cage. Once entering it, the woman spots both the ref and Octavia. The two fighters approach one another. “This is going to be an exciting match,”  one of the announcer's states.

“That’s for sure. These two have paved their way for the semi-final, but only one will face our reigning champ; Anya Woods,” the other announcer comments.

The match starts, and the two women take their stances. Octavia was the first to attack, throwing a quick jab. Lexa dodges the attack and grabs her rival, she swirls around the woman and slams her onto the mat. Octavia kicks Lexa off her. The two hop back on their feet; Octavia starts with a sidekick, and Lexa avoids it and grabs her rival’s leg, throwing her into the cage. Back at each other again, the two begin to punch and block one another.  Their fight end with the two fighters landing a punch on each other. Lexa and Octavia lay on the mat before the ref was going to call it a draw; Lexa is the first to her feet, exhausted. The ref raises the woman’s arm, declaring her the victor. “Looks like Lexa going to the finals!”

Lexa heads for Octavia, she sticks her hand out. “Good fight,”

The rocker takes the woman’s hand, “You too,”

The two exit the cage, making their way to the back. When entering the back room; they were met by Anya putting on her gloves. “Not bad you two,” she comments.

"Thanks," Lexa and Octavia said at the same time.

Lexa approached her sister and fist bump with the other woman. "You ready to take on your big sis?"

Anya lets out a hearty laugh, "I'm not two time champion for nothing,"

"Look at my girls," Titus announces, walking into the room.

"Hey dad," both women greet the man.

Titus brings them into a group hug. "I'm so happy my two girls are going into the finals," the father breaks the hug, "Now, good luck, both of you," Titus begins to leave the women, before exiting he turns to Lexa and Anya. "Oh, and remember, no matter who loses, I love both of you equally," he states. "But I'll love the winner a little more," with that both of the women groan and throw things at their father.

"So, you ready?" Anya asks.

“Of course,”

The two sisters make their way out of the changing room. “There they are folks, the Woods sisters about go head to head in the finals!” An announcer states. The sisters walks towards the cage, waving at the crowd. The pair enters the steel cage.

The two stood opposite of each other, both taking their stance. As soon as the bell, the two sisters went at it. Both, throwing punches and kicks at one another. Lexa manages to land an uppercut into Anya’s side. In response the other woman hit’s her sister with a devastating right hook. Lexa stables back before dropping down to grab Anya by the waist, she lifts the taller woman into the air and drops her onto the mat. The took the opportunity to put her sister into arm lock, hoping for Anya to tap out. Anya had other plans though, picking herself up with her Lexa still attached to her arm. The taller woman slams her older sister down on the mat, making Lexa let go. The two took a minute to catch their breath, before attacking each other. Both of their fist and shins colliding with against one another. After several round of fighting, Lexa and Anya were left panting. The pair latch to each other, delivering kicks the their sides. Suddenly the bell rings, stopping them from continuing; the sister release each other. Lexa and Anya sat on the mat, exhausted and bruised. They waited as the judges made their decision. When the referee came back he helps both sisters up, holding them by the wrist. Everyone was quiet as the water for the verdict. Soon enough, the ref raises Lexa’s hand.

All of Mount Weather erupts into cheers. “I don’t believe it!” One of the announcers yelled.

“The prodigal daughter has been dethroned!” Screams the other. “Mount Weathers new champion, Lexa Woods!”

Titus enters cage with a microphone, “Okay everyone, settle down,” he states. “As a father, I couldn’t be more prouder for both my girls. They’ve trained so hard for this tournament, and it shows; so once again, congratulation Lexa. Now, go get changed, you’ll get a nice ice bath when you get home,” with that the two sister make their to the changing room.

Inside they were met by their girlfriends, both Raven and Clarke gave a tight hug. “Ow, ow, ow,” the sister exclaims.

The girlfriends immediately them go, “Sorry,” Raven apologizes.

Anya raises her hand, “It’s fine, babe,”

“Yeah, you’re good,” Lexa adds, holding her side.

A knock on the door draw their attention, the women turn to see a woman with brown hair in a pants suit. “Hello, my names Echo,” she greets them. “That fight was amazing, Lexa,”

“Thanks,”

Echo pulls out a card passes it to the new champion. “Here, if you ever want to go further in MMA, I’ll gladly be you manager; and with some luck you’ll be the next female UFC champion,”

Lexa stares at the card in disbelief, “I-I don’t know what to say,”

Echo places a hand on the fighter’s shoulder. “Just think about it,” she leaves the stuns woman.

“Congrats Lexa,” Raven comments.

“Yeah good for you, sis,” Anya says.

Clarke places a kiss on Lexa’s cheek. “Looks like things are looking up for you,”

“I’ll say,”

A day later

On a not so eventful day, Lexa gathers the family for a meeting.

“What’s this about, Lexa?” Indra asks.

“Well recently, I have this question buzzing in my head for while, and since the tournament over, I thought maybe this is a good time,” Lexa explains.

“By all means ask away,” Titus encourage.

Lexa let’s out a heavy breath, “Would you adopt me?” She asks, holding out the papers.

Titus takes the paperwork, “Lexa, you’re already my daughter,”

“Yeah, but, I want to make it official,” the woman blushes.

“Well then, how could say no,” the man signs the paper.

Gaia leaps up, squealing in joy and hugs her sister. “Yay, now you’re officially a Woods,” she states.

“Yeah, no backing out now,” Anya says with a smirk.

“Wouldn’t dream of it.”

Chapter Text

On a bright day in Arkadia, St. Jaha’s church was filled to the brim with people who came for the wedding of Clarke and Lexa. Outside a reporter stands in front of a crowd. “I’m standing outside for this year’s biggest wedding event. The new Women’s featherweight, Lexa Woods, and Arkadia’s famous artist Clarke Griffin are getting married inside,” she explains. At that moment the reporter notices Octavia, Bellamy, and Lincoln walking toward the church. “Oh look, it’s the Blakes of Thunder,” she points out. “Octavia, Octavia, what brings you guys here?”

Octavia leans into the mic, “Oh, we’re friends of the brides, and we’re also playing the reception,” she winks at the camera before entering the church.

“How is it?” Raven asks.

“It’s a shit show,” Bellamy answers.

“We wouldn’t be in this mess if someone, didn’t tell the whole world,” Echo states, settling in Bellamy’s arm.

Everyone turns their gaze to Gaia. “Oh don’t look at me like that,” the young woman said.

“So how are the brides?” Octavia questions the group.

“Lexa’s fine, she can get married,”

“Good, and Clarke?” Raven scratches her neck while avoiding eye contact. “Ray?”

“Okay, she’s doing hero things,” the Latina tells her friends.

“On her wedding day?!” Bellamy exclaims. “I and O could have handled it,”

“Well you know Clarke, always leading by example,” Raven shrugs. “Anya is with her if that makes this any better?”

“Doesn’t Anya have the ring?” Lincoln questions.

Everyone looks at Raven with angered eyes. “No, she left with me,” she presents the ring to the room.

Echo checks her watch, “Well, I hope they get done quickly because the ceremony is about to start,”

Clarke and Anya

“Can’t believe you,” Anya states as the two fly after a speeding car. “Who fights crime on their wedding day?” The pair began to dodge bullets.

“You worry too much, we’ll be done quick, boost?” Clarke asks. The heroines link arms, Anya spins the blonde, launching her in front of the vehicle. Clarke uses her strength to stop the car.

The bank robbers slowly crawl out, only to be wrapped in vines. “Go, I got this,” Anya orders her leader. Clarke nods and flies away.

Clarke soars through the sky over the city, touching the clouds and doing a barrel roll. After flying past the many buildings, Clarke lands in front of her house. When entering she was greeted by her parents and the Justices Society of America. “There she is,” Ted announces.

“Ted,” Clarke hugs the older man. “Jay, Rex, and Dinah. It’s so good to see you all,”

“Enough of the greetings, we need to get you in your dress and to the wedding,” Abby states pushing her daughter up stars.

“We’ll meet you at the church,” Jay calls out, leaving the house.

Upstairs, Abby helps zip up her daughter’s dress. “You look beautiful, honey,”

“Thanks, mom,”

“Come on, Marcus is waiting for us in the limo,” the women make their way to the vehicle.

“Leave it to Lexa to make sure we make it there in style,” They hear Marcus speak.

Lexa

Back at the church, Lexa stood in front of the mirror fiddling with her tie. “Come on, you stubborn bastard,” she mutters in frustration.

“Need help?”

Lexa whips her head around to see her father. “Please?” She offers the piece of clothing.

Titus walks up to his daughter and helps with the tie. “There, all nice and spiffy,”

“Thanks, Dad,”

A knock draws their attention. Anya enters the room, “Good, you’re ready, because Clarke is on the way; so get your ass to the alter," the wood trio makes their way into the main room. Titus split off from the group and sit next to his wife. "How are you feeling?"

"Nervous,"

"Don't be, Clarke loves you and you love her,"

The door opens with Abby and the JSA coming in. "She's coming!" Abby calls out.

Lincoln begins to play here comes the bride on the organ. The crowd watches as Kane walked Clarke down the aisle. The blonde wore a puffy white dress outlined by blue stars, and a long silk trail followed behind her. Kane left his daughter at the altar before taking a seat next to Abby.  "Ladies and Gentlemen," Jaha calls out. "Today we are here for the union of Lexa Woods and Clarke Griffin. I see the bides have written their own vows,"

Lexa pulls out a piece of paper and begins reading, “Clarke, before I met everyone here today, I didn’t believe I was worthy of love; but you help change that. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,”

Tears formed in the blonde's eyes as she pulls out a piece of paper. “Lexa, I’m so happy to have you in my life, you have been the sunshine and I’ll always be in your corner as long as you’re in mine,”

“Beautiful you two,” Jaha comments. “If anyone has any objections to this union, please speak,” the church remains quiet. “Okay then, I now pronounce you wife and wife, you may now kiss the bride,”

The newlyweds crash their lips together, and everyone jumps out of their seats and cheers for them. The two women sprint for the door, outside they were met with a crowd of fans cheering them on. After entering the limousine it takes off.

The reception

All those from the wedding sat in the catering house, enjoying food and music. At the largest where Lexa and Clarke’s families sat, Anya stands. The woman taps her glass to gain everyone’s attention. “Okay settle down you animals,” she states, making everyone laugh. “Alright big sis, first of congratulations. Who knew seven years ago I would meet you, now look of you happy and married; now I keep the title of the moody Woods,” Anya jokes. “I kid, I kid, seriously I’m happy for you and I wish you a great marriage,” her words cause everyone to clap, “Now time for the father and daughter to dance,”

As the room starts to make preparations, Lexa approaches her sister. “Hey, mind if we talk outside,”

The pair head for the balcony, once outside Anya speaks. “What’s this about?”

“I need to tell you something,” Lexa let out a long sigh. “I was Infamous Flame,” she admits. “I’m sorry for everything I did, I just-“ Anya silence the woman with a hug. Lexa hugs her back, “You’re not mad?”

“No,” when separating from her sister, Anya punches Lexa’s arm.

“Ow!” Lexa comments, rubbing her arm. “What that for? You said you weren’t mad,”

“No, but that’s payback for me and the others,”

“Good to know,”

Anya pats her sister on the shoulder, “Now time to get you back to your wife,”

Inside the party-goers stood in a circle, watching Kane and Clarke dance. “Jake would be so proud of you,” Kane tells his daughter.

Clarke gives the man a somber smile, “Thanks dad, but I’m happy having you with me any day,”

A finger taps Kane's shoulder, and the man turns to see his new daughter-in-law, "Mind if I cut in?" The father smiles and steps out the way, Lexa takes her wife in. “Hey gorgeous,”

“Right back at you, handsome,” Clarke gives the woman a kiss. “This is nice,”

“Yeah, it is,”

The newlyweds swayed with one another as Octavia and her band continues to play sweet angle; ready for the future.
