Chapter Text

"Good morning, Shogun-sama, did you have a good sleep last night?"

You asked as your master slowly rose from her futon looking like a zombie with bags under her eyes along with stupidly messy bed hair. Honestly, this is the first time you've seen The Mighty Shogun in this undignified state, truly unbefitting for someone who is the representation of one nation.

Never occurred that the elegant, dignified, beautiful, and voluptuous Shogun would be reduced to a shut-in who spends their day eating sweets, reading tons of light novels, and didn't even get fat from all of that, how envious.

Is this some sort of cosmic joke you failed to understand?

This wouldn't have happened if you just listened to your father and be a good girl. After you received your vision, your heart is filled with unending adventuring desire, no more working as a normal person, you can fight monsters with the power gifted to you, you'll be free to show the world how capable you can be.

In the end, you choose to run away from home to explore the wonderful world of Teyvat, only to end up stranded in this closed border nation. Many times you told yourself you should've chosen Fontaine or stay at Liyue if you want to start a journey. It was so stupid to ignore Liyue just because you're so eager to see the beautiful sakura trees on Inazuma and went to Liyue just to use the ship for transportation.

To make matter worse, right after you arrived, the Shogun suddenly announced the Vision Hunt Decree to seize all the visions within the Inazuma border, so as a foreigner it was so easy for you to be captured by the Tenryou Commission who were literally swarming the city.

The fuck?

One minute you strolling around the street, trying every cuisine you had not tried, and the other minute you've been captured, sent to jail along with bandits, tons of Nobushi, and illegal immigrants.

Why on Teyvat you're being sent here? You already filled every legal means to visit this nation to the point you already sacrifice a lot of mora's to complete the registration. The Fatui's should've been sent here instead, and yet they're able to roaming around freely. During your stay in the cell, you've heard a lot of bad news from other prisoners that a vision holder outside of Inazuma will receive punishment tenfold from the regular one.

So this is how it ends, consumed by your own ambition, at the end of the day you're just a human after all. Just because you have a vision doesn't mean you can roam around the world standing stall without caring about what would happen. You must've made your family worried. reality hit when you least expect it. At this point, you already made peace with yourself and accepted the worse to come.

You just sit in your cell, emotionless, tears already dried out, you just wait there, even when the guard gives you food your hands refused to touch it, you don't care even if your stomach scold you by growling so loud. You just want this to be over.

Three days have passed, it doesn't take long until your body finally gave up, there's a foul smell starts coming from you making the other prisoners kick you to the corner of the cell.

You spend your day staring at a gray stone wall, waiting for your demise. Unable to retain your consciousness you close your eyes to sleep while noticing there's a lot of ruckus coming from your cellmates.

"I want that one, bring her to me", is the last voice you can hear clearly before passing out.

It was a voice of a woman, deep but filled with dignity, cold but there's a hint of care. You wonder whom that voice belongs to.

Notes:

It's been a while since I wrote something, so maybe the story seems a bit stiff (not that my previous works are any better lol I'm still learning, English is hard but fun), anyway I got Raiden Shogun from 50/50 gacha, so I want to write something to celebrate.

Chapter 2: Kaput

Summary:

You woke up and find yourself in a dark void

Chapter Text

It's pitch black, you can't see anything.

"Am I dead?" a grim question you asked yourself.

You can't move your whole body nor you can feel anything to the touch. It's final then, you are really dead. Surprisingly you feel at ease now, it feels as if your body floating in the air. No more noisy chit-chat or violent abuse from your cellmate. However, regrets begin to bubble up as you remember your father in Mondstadt. You feel shame to the core after leaving him like that. Not even giving him a parting word, just a couple of sentences from the letter you left behind.

'I'm going to set myself on a journey around Teyvat! Please do not worry about me. I promise I'll be home when I satisfy and of course, I'll bring a lot of souvenirs!'

You're hoping he's not looking for her daughter. Too bad you won't be able to fulfill that promise anymore. So many things you have yet to experience and so many regrets drown you. You begin to wonder if there's really an afterlife, or is it all just this void and empty space of nothingness.

Just an abyss.

It would be better if you become a ghost, roaming around Inazuma aimlessly. You're not even out from Ritou yet, and the next place you step in is that foul Inazuma jail and now in the abyss, you go.

Just as you imagine yourself flying around like a ghost, you can see a faint pair of violet light shining toward you, accompanied by a sweet scent of sakura flower lingering around you. It seems your brain is playing a little mind game on you, call it the anguish of a dead spirit wanting to touch the surface of a living world. Looks like your deep subconscious wants to stay alive after all. You start to picture the big castle in the middle of Inazuma city you've yet to set foot on. Based on the Inazuma people you've met, it is said that the Mighty Shogun has been living inside the castle for a century.

You begin to wonder what the shogun looks like, is it a handsome warrior or a beautiful fierce female, the people there don't give you a piece of specific information as all they said were just 'The Mighty Shogun' or 'The Eternal Inazuma God'. But soon a negative emotion begins to envelop you and start speculating what kind of ugly God ruling this nation with an iron fist.

"Now that I think about it, it's all that stupid Shogun's fault for all of this misfortune that fell upon me. What kind of monster declares a mass vision robbery on their own people"

Unable to control the sudden rage and unfairness you experience, you start to shift the fault onto someone else like any normal human being, and this time the crazy ruler of this nation has to pay for what they've done to you.

Stupid Shogun.

"I'll make them pay. Oh, I know maybe just maybe, if I think hard enough I can be a vengeful spirit. Yeah, I can haunt that stupid shogun in that big Tenshukaku Castle!" Just as you begin to scream to the dark void around you, the pair of violet lights you saw earlier begins to glow even more brightly.

"Stupid Shogun huh? Fufu that's what I've been calling her all these ages"

"Yeah, that's right! You tell me, disembodied voice lady!"

Wait... what.

"What an energetic little one, although it seems I need to teach you some manner first, after all, you just called me a disembodied voice while sleeping on my plump and soft laps, how rude~"

"Wha-! Who!?"

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?"

Notes:

I feel bad for not updating new chapter, so I draw a sketch of Miko for this chapter, hope you like it.

Chapter 3: Mischief

Chapter Text

“I… H-Hello?”

Starting a conversation isn’t exactly my forte but I have to make an effort right? Especially when confronted by a scary-unknown-pink-fox-lady. I feel like her looks alone can devour me, hopefully she’s already eaten her lunch.

“Why hello there little one~” The fox lady smirked while playfully toying with my hair.

“Hiekh-” I yelp a bit.

Although the room doesn’t have enough light source, I could tell how out of the world my captivator is, her beauty is not something that exists in a mortal realm. Strange how fear and admiration can intertwine. I blame her perks for having a premium face, motherly voice, and sharp glowing eyes that peered into my soul.

“My~ How cute” The fox lady chuckles.

I had never seen anyone this divine since I began my quest for adventure. Could this lady be an Adepti like the rumored ones in Liyue? Or is she a completely different kind of Beast? Inazuma has been shrouded with mystery so it wouldn't be surprising if there were some kind of Goddess or a Deity manifesting here and there.

Surely I can’t be dead, right? The warmth feeling from the back of my neck, emanating from this lady's thighs was far too real to be a spirit, and the way her fingers played with my hair, curling it gently, and playfully tugging at it as if I were a mere doll.

Not satisfied playing with my hair, the fox lady gradually shifts her left hand to carry my cheek while her right one traces the shape of my lips. Her touch was tender, like a long-time lover flirting with one another.

“Pity I can’t keep you for myself” said the fox lady coldly.

Unlike her previous demeanor, this one is stated full of malice and perhaps a hint of anger.

Where exactly am I? Did I get transported to another place again? Last time it was a prison. N-no could she be an interrogator? Is her gentle act just a facade? Her sadistic methods before beginning her interrogation ritual? Am I going to get tortured for information I didn’t even possess!? I’m not a spy! I’m just a foolish girl thinking like a frog in the well.

“I- I need to get out of here!”

Snapping back to reality, I tried to force my body to wake up, a naught effort as the fox lady pushed me down with no effort, pinned me onto the Tatami floor. A small but visible pink electricity appears in her eyes. It made me realize my Vision is no longer with me. The guards must have confiscated it.

“Now~ now~, you’re in no position to flail around like that, do that again and I have no choice but to zap you down”

My heart pounding like crazy, and even in the face of threat I couldn’t help but admire her beauty. Her body feels closer than ever. Her hefty breasts pressed into mine and a sweet cherry blossom scent filled my nostrils.

I was Scared, Confused, and surprisingly a little bit turned on. We were so close there were almost no gaps between us. I could feel Her breath on my neck and her long hair drops, brushing against my cheek.

“I still have no idea why Ei took a liking to you but…”

The fox lady leaned in, closing the gap between us until our lips almost touching, just a few millimeters in. I never had a lover before so this kind of thing is kinda new to me. Especially since we are the same gender. If this is how my first kiss was going to happen, then I wouldn't mind having her steal it.

//SLIDE!!!//

Without warning a bright light enters the dim room we’re currently in. A stunning woman with short black hair and a red mask on the side of her head, dressed in a kimono ready for battle, violently slides open the sliding door, catching both me and the fox lady off guard.

“That’s enough!”

She shouts.

Notes:

Hi, I'm back. Sorry for the long break. I honestly hope I can finish this next year. The last few years have been rough, but abandoning this story is no excuse. The truth is I stopped playing Genshin before Sumeru even came out. I still follow Genshin, like new characters and a bit of lore stuff. Since Natlan has been out for a while, I think I need to get a grip and finish what I started.

After all, Inazuma really holds a place in my heart.

Since it's been a while I don't think I can't write a lot of words like 1K to 5K, so I'm going to take it easy, a comment is always more than welcome

Thank you for reading,
