“Let us meet again in the future we desire, Basileus.”

The memory of before she was sealed away within Satan came to her head as she alongside the seventh scion and southern Auspex returned to the Halidom. The twins had gained new abilities from the bonds they shared. She wasn’t sure how it made her feel, almost…. jealous? It was true she had her sister Regina, but she couldn’t help but think of the man she had feelings for.

She felt hatred towards the being named Loki, who had tricked them. They knew that she would lose control, and that Satan would go on a rampage and destroy the beloved city she called home, and she was powerless. She remembers watching in horror as she saw her beloved’s own father take a fatal hit and die. Watch her sister and the remaining Apostles cry out in agony as the remaining Angels were killed by Satan. She could not do anything.

Origa remembered when she was briefly freed from Satan, only temporarily. The feel of her sister’s hand after so many years of being separated, and the relief in Basileus’s eyes upon seeing her back, how she now yearned to see him again…

Now, the prince and his friends were able to free her from Satan. That was now a few days ago. She had met with the other Auspexes, and to her surprise, the Goddess herself. Together, they had enough power to beat the Progenitor, and soon, the final battle will be upon them. Soon, the future she desired would come true…

While discussing their plan that day, one of the Prince’s friends came up to her with a warm smile on her face, it was the kind Sylvan servant known as Cleo.

“Origa? You have a visitor.”

Origa looked at her in confusion for a moment. A visitor? Who could be here to see her? But as Cleo stepped away, Origa saw who the visitor was, and she felt her heart soar as she recognized the light blonde hair and pale blue eyes of them.

“Basileus?”

She saw a warm smile and relief on his face upon seeing her. Before anything else could be said, she rushed towards the Apostle leader, throwing her arms around him in a tight embrace, of which he immediately returned.

“Origa…I’m so glad to see you again.”

Origa couldn’t stop smiling as the two parted and she stepped back, a hot flush appearing on her cheeks as she remembered that they were not alone, as the rest of the Auspexes were still standing some metres behind them. Much to her relief however, Ilia turned to the others and smillied

“Come on guys, let’s leave these two alone.”

The others turned and left the room, leaving Origa and Basileus in the room by themselves. Origa turned back to Basileus with a smile. Finally, after months of her being sealed within Satan. The two were happily reunited. Origa remembered again the time before the whole incident happened and looked down, her blush returning.

“Basileus, I… before the whole Satan incident, I wanted to tell you something. But I was hesitant. I can not hide this any longer. I… I love you Basileus.”

She couldn’t look at him, worried that this was for nothing. What if he actually didn’t have feelings for her anymore? Had he moved on in fear that she would never awaken?

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her cheek, finally she looked up at the pale blue eyes of the one she loved. Instead of the anger she feared she would see, she saw an emotion she hadn’t seen come from Basileus before. Love. WIthout hesitation, Basileus smiled as he said the next words.

“I love you too, Origa.”

Origa felt her heart was about to leap out of her chest. She felt tears pricking at the edges of her eyes. After years of not showing emotions to anyone, she finally was able to open up to the one she loved, and knowing he too had those feelings, made her even happier.

Origa looked down again, trying to hide the tears that had started flowing down her face. Then, she felt Basileus’s hand lift her chin up, with the warmth still on his face. She felt her stomach flip as they leaned in closer before finally, their lips met in a kiss.

They parted after a few moments, and Origa hugged her beloved once again.

Finally, the future they had desired was on the horizon.
