Chapter Text
“We got this, right Storm?”
“Sure." The boy, Storm, nodded. "Let's just get this over with.” He scoffed. “Couldn’t be bothered to stay here longer than necessary.”
The girl, Nashi, nodded in agreement. “You said it. Heroes? These wanna-be's? They're all just a bunch of hypocrites.” He nodded.
“Lets go.”
__________
Aizawa sighed irritably. Looking down at the rat, he glared. “Are you sure about this? This late into the year?” His tired eyes looked annoyed. “As far as I was concerned, UA doesn’t take in any students after first day.”
The rat, who happened to be UA’s principal, nodded towards the teacher. “Yes, I'm quite sure. When they ran into me, they explained the situation as to why they could not make it originally. After seeing them fight, I gave them the okay.” He smiled giving a thumbs up.
Aizawa couldn’t see reason behind this. It was too late for UA to be accepting new students. Well, it wasn't very late. They're still just recovering from the USJ attack, but any chance at joining was dropped by day two. No matter how skilled they were. (Though he supposed they could use anything they could get right? ‘Use?’ Using what they could get? Take? They’re heroes, right? So why was he thinking those thoughts when thinking about the young generation of aspiring heroes-to-be?) There had never been any exception to this. So, why now? They should have been told to wait for next years registration forms to go out, right?
He’d seen their files already; Dragion Nashi and Surge Storm. Both grew up together in a small town run down orphanage. Stayed there until some other orphans along with their selves were adopted by another orphan who had just got out herself; Knightwalker Scarlet (who lets kids who’ve barley turned 18 themselves, adopt teenagers, barely few years younger than themselves? He couldn’t see logic or reason behind that). Both of their parents are unknown.
Did any of this point in the direction of allowing them in late? No, no of course not. The other teachers and himself had yet the chance to see them fight in person, instead being offered a video Nezu happily supplied for them. The other teachers had shown their obvious protest as much as himself. They had all been shut down, and by the end of the meeting (which had gone on much longer then anticipated. The sudden news of two new students being allowed into UA, hero course 1a to top it off! It had thrown them off and they were not there for it. Plus, being adopted by their 18 year old friend? These kids would've had that influence on them, they don’t need it to be transferred to their students) Nezu had said they would be here tomorrow, which now led to today. Of course, while awaiting for their arival, Aizawa was doing his best to discourage the idea from Nezu.
“Now now, Aizawa.” Nezu smiled up at him. “They should be here any minute. You’re their homeroom teacher, let’s not give them the wrong idea now.”
Of course, Aizawa wanted to tell him that no, it would not be the wrong idea he would be giving them. Not at all. But he refrained himself from such actions. Now that they were in silence once more, and likely to remain that way up until they get here, he let his thoughts wonder again. Dragion. That name reminded him of something else. He wasn't completely sure as to where or what, but perhaps should he think more about it, he can remember clearer. But for now, he realized he could see two figure approaching the gates. A security guard let them in, he could see, and now they were headed their way.
As soon as they got closer, he could make out their features. The girl, Dragion, had soft pink hair and the boy, Surge, had black hair, but as he got closer, he was sure he could see small tips of dark blue highlighting it. Dragion had her arms crossed, Surge having let his rest in his pockets. They didn’t look excited or anything, confusing Aizawa a bit. He didn’t have much time to muse on the matter though as Nezu moved to stand between Aizawa and the new students, a smile adorning his face.
“Welcome, Dragion and Surge! Surely you remember me. I am Nezu! The principle here at UA High!”
The two welcomed simply nodded once in greeting. Nezu looked from them to Aizawa and pointed. “This person here is in fact your homeroom teacher, Aizawa!” Aizawa nodded in greeting, giving a once over small wave. “Hello.” They nodded once more in greeting. Aizawa wasn’t sure what it was, but he could tell, just by looking at them now that-
“We welcome you to UA High! Please, follow Aizawa, as he will lead you to your class to meet your new classmates.”
-these guys would be giving him much, much more trouble (then being a teacher was worth).
