Chapter Text

JYP academy was a small school, less that 100 people attended this school, but it was famous nonetheless. The school was run by none other than Mr. JYP, and he actually taught one of the biggest classes, Class 1-TWICE. Today he'd be introducing a new and very interesting project to his students...

"Alright class settle down!" Mr. JYP said, entering the classroom, "Today students," He began, scanning the room and subtly counting to make sure all 9 students were here, "I'll be introducing a new group project. I will assign you all an egg, and you'll have to keep it safe until tomorrow! As if it was your CHILD." Murmurs among the students instantly began, "Naur wtf what this gotta do with bein an idol?" Whispered Nayeon, "I have no clue this is kinda goofy..." Replied Dahyun. "QUIET CLASS!" Mr. JYP yelled, "Now, you might be wondering... what does this have to do with being an idol? Well, nothing really, I just thought this would be funny! Now, we'll have three groups of two, and one group of three! Our groups will be... lets see... Chaeyoung with Mina! Hm, Momo with Sana, Nayeon with Jeongyeon, and Jihyo Tzuyu and Dahyun will be our group of 3!"

The students paired up and headed over to grab their eggs, Mina grabbed hers first and waddled back over towards Chaeyoung, who began observing it. "Hm... I wonder what we should name i-" *SPLAT*. All heads turn towards Nayeon, who had just dropped her egg, you could practically see the soul leave Jeongyeon's body. "M..Mr.JYP... I need another egg..." Nayeon whispered, staring at the ground, to which Mr.JYP sighed. Chaeyoung turned back, "So, what should we name it?" Mina shrugged, "Hm... maybe...-" "Oh! I know!" Chaeyoung interrupted, "What about Lunchable! I love Lunchables!" "Uhm... If you want!" Mina said, holding Lunchable up.

"Dubu wtf are you doing.." Jihyo said, taking the egg from Dahyun's hands, "Uhm, I'm giving it a face? Obviously?" She said, waving her sharpie around. "Uhmm Dubu can't that like crack or damage the egg if you aren't careful??" Tzuyu asked, Dahyun rolled her eyes, "Yeah, if you aren't careful! Which I OBVIOUSLY am." She snatched the egg back from Jihyo and continued her art, Jihyo decided to visit another group to see their progress, and so she went over to Momo and Sana, only to be greeted with an invitation from Momo. "What's this?" Jihyo asked, "Well, since me and Sana have decided to get married, here is an invite to our wedding!" Momo gleefully said, Sana's eyes widened, "Decided to get married!? This is the first I'm hearing about this???" "Well, ok I was gonna ask you afterwards, but I just thought since we're raising this child together... we might as well be married right?" Momo replied, hoping Sana will agree with her, Jihyo didn't wait for Sana's reply and just headed back to her own group, in which their egg was now dressed up in a pink dress with makeup on, also, Tzuyu and Dahyun were arguing. "I just don't think we should assume the egg's gender and force it to dress so femininely!" Tzuyu said angrily, "Well I think it's literally just a fucking egg and it doesn't MATTER." Dahyun shouted back, Tzuyu just shook her head, "No it does matter, wouldn't expect you to understand though, tsk." This argument continued for some time.

The day went on and finally it was time for the students to go home. "Alright class, before you leave today, make sure you decide who in your group will take care of the egg overnight and return it safely tomorrow morning!" Mr. JYP said. Jeongyeon immediately took her group's egg, "There is no way I'm letting you take this." Nayeon sighed, "I was really looking forward to taking it home though..." Jeongyeon shook her head, "You already dropped one, I'm not letting you drop anoth-" Suddenly, Nayeon snatched the egg out of Jeongyeon's hand and bolted out the room, Jeongyeon chasing after her. At Chaeyoung's group, it was pretty clear she was going to take it home, her and Lunchable had gained an unbreakable bond. Momo and Sana were having a hard time deciding who would take it home, and it ultimately ended in Sana taking it home (the wedding was cancelled btw). And finally, in the group of three, an argument was going down. "I'm the most trustworthy out of us 3!" Jihyo argued, Tzuyu shook her head, "If anything I am! Besides, what if our egg gets stuck somewhere high up hm? You two wouldn't be able to reach and I would!" "Hey height is NOT relevant in this argument, I personally think I should take it home, when have you ever seen me not be able to take care of an egg!?" Dahyun said, crossing her arms. Mr. JYP walked over to them, seeing as they were the only group who didn't decide. "How about we draw names? I'll write your names on pieces of paper and whoever's name gets drawn is who will take the egg home. The group looked at each other and then agreed.

After writing the names down, Mr. JYP put them into a bowl and shook it a bit, he then took a piece of paper and opened it to reveal... "Dahyun! You'll be taking your egg home!" Jihyo and Tzuyu groaned while Dahyun gleefully smiled, "Thanks Mr. JYP!" She then took the egg and left the classroom, "See you guys tomorrow!"

Unlocking the door to her house, Dahyun went inside and set her backpack down, now wondering what to do with the egg. "Hmm, well in the movies they usually keep the egg under a light... So I'll just do that!" She thought out loud, holding the egg up. She brought it to her room and dug around until she found an old lamp. She turned it on and placed the egg underneath it, then leaving to go take a shower.

20 minutes later....
Stepping out of the shower, Dahyun noticed something was wrong, she quickly got dressed and noticed that the ground... was shaking!? She ran to her room to see if the egg was ok, and she noticed that it was the egg that was shaking. "What is going on??" She said worriedly, picking the shaking egg up. She began to pet it as if it was a dog... "There there little egg!! Stop shaking please I really can't fail this assignmen- holy shit." The egg suddenly poofed into blue dust and a blue wind began swirling around her room. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON." Dahyun yelled, holding onto her doorframe as to not fall.

After about 20 seconds it seemed safe enough to let go of the doorframe, she took a look at where the blue wind was, and there was... a genie??? That also weirdly looks like a combination of Dahyun and Will Smith from the hit live action remake of the movie Aladdin!? "What. The. Fuck." Dahyun said, jaw dropped at the genie in front of her. "You, Dahyun, have saved me from thousands of years of confinement in that lamp!!! In return, I will grant you.. 3 WISHES!!!" The genie said, not only looking like a combo of Dahyun and Will Smith, but also sounding like one too. "...Lamp? You mean that egg Mr.JYP bought from the store this morning?" Dahyun asked, giving the genie a confused look. "Egg, lamp, whatever, your 3 wishes!!! What do you want!!!" Dahyun thought for a moment, but before she could answer there was a knock at the door. "Uhm... I'll be right back." Dahyun said to the genie, running downstairs to answer the door. Once she opened it, she was instantly met with a government agent!? Before she could question, she was put to sleep with chloroform...

Several hours later...
Dahyun woke up in her bed, "Huh!? Wtf... was that all a dream!?" She asked herself, then shaking her head, "Wait no, no it wasn't, that government agent put me to sleep!!! WTF MY GENIE THEY TOOK MY WISHES... I won't take this, I'm gonna get my genie back..." She pulled out her phone and began messaging the "#TWICE" groupchat.

Dubu: Guys!! I need ur help plz
God Jihyo: ?? You better not have broken our egg
🧈: Fr. If we fail this I'm blaming you
Dubu: No its not that!!! Well.. it's kinda related to the egg?
Dubu: So the egg kinda turned into a genie..
Jeongy: ...Are you high
Dubu: NO I AM NOT HIGH. the ground started shaking and then there was this blue wind and THEN THE GENIE CAME OUT.
Dubu: IT LOOKED LIKE ME AND WILL SMITH COMBINED. I CANT MAKE THIS UP.
God Jihyo: Def high;;
Chaeng Bieber: No guys. I think we need to trust Dahyun!!! She wouldn't lie to us like this... maybe she rlly did have a genie
I'm Gonna be a Star: No she would definitely lie to us like this
Dubu: IM NOT LYING. The government came and took my genie!!
Piggy: Ok, well, listen. Even if she was telling the truth, wtf are we supposed to do?
Minari: True, there's so many places that the genie could've been taken, we'd never be able to find it.
Shy Shy Shy: Noooo guys it'll be fun!!! This is like Jailbreak on roblox!!! you break into stuff!!! except we arent breaking out of prison and then into banks we're instead breaking into a government building!!!!
🧈: Literally what are you on about.
Chaeng Bieber: So we're doing it?? Getting the genie??
Jeongy: NO. WTF. we are NOT breaking into a government building???? Mina's right we don't even know which one it is
Shy Shy Shy: Tbh guys it's probably Area 51
God Jihyo: We can't just go there based on instinct, can we?
Dubu: We have to... I need my genie...
Piggy: Do you guys hear urself rn, this sounds dumb as hell. anyways what do u guys need me to do!!!
Minari: So are we all on board for this?? I still don't think its the best idea...
I'm Gonna be a Star: I agree this makes absolutely 0 sense.
Jeongy: Very true Nayeon.
Dubu: Guys please! I need all the help I can get... who's in???
Shy Shy Shy: ME!!
Chaeng Bieber: I'M IN!
Piggy: Guess so
🧈:Nothing to loose ig... I'll join
Minari: I guess I'll join too!
God Jihyo: Well, I'll go if you guys are going.
I'm Gonna be a Star: What Jihyo said I guess
Jeongy: ....................
Dubu: Please Jeongy!!!!
Jeongy: Fine. I'll join.
Dubu: WOO!!!! THANKS GUYS!
Dubu: Okay. Team TWICE. Area 51 tomorrow...

#TWICE groupchat the next day:
God Jihyo: So, how exactly will we go about this? Should we assign roles?
Dubu: I think that would be good!
Jeongy: I'll be our hacker! (Like the hit agent 707) I'll break into the mainframe and look at all the security cameras to help you guys.
🧈: I can help take out some of the agents!
Piggy: I'll help Tzuyu with that ^^
Chaeng Bieber: ehehkgjeh Dubu me and u should like infiltrate through the vents like among us
Dubu: .................ok
Chaeng Bieber: We can like put laxatives in their pizza!!!! wouldnt that be funny
Jeongy: I think you're overthinking this
Chaeng Bieber: nonsense?? you need to have a well thought out plan smh...
Minari: Anyways.... with you guys distracting the guards maybe me, Jihyo, Nayeon, and Sana could search for the genie?
Shy Shy Shy: Sounds good 2 me!!!!!
God Jihyo: Agreed!
I'm Gonna be a Star: I guess so;
Dubu: Great! ok lets go to Area51 now to get my genie back

Wooooosh we at the Area51 tbh!
(Through walkie-talkie) "Jeongy, have you hacked in yet?" Dahyun asked, patiently waiting a response, "Mhm, I have a clear view of all rooms, go crazy." Jeongyeon replied, then shutting the walkie-talkie off. "Alright, how about me and Tzuyu go first?" Momo asked, receiving nods from the group, "Me and Dubu will go after!" Chaeyoung piped in, "Then I guess us four will go in after." Nayeon said, looking back at her group. They all put their hands in (minus Jeongy because she's like hacking somewhere else idk whatever ot9 still I promsi) "GO TWICE!" They all shouted, lifting their hands in the air.

Tzuyu and Momo snuck in through a window and tiptoed behind some boxes. They snuck around some more until they saw a staircase, and they both smiled at each other, knowing what to do. Momo pulled out two cans of mysterious liquid and the two of them began painting the staircase in this liquid. Afterwards, Tzuyu made a loud noise that caught the attention of the guards upstairs, they began running down and simultaneously slipped and got knocked unconscious. Dumb fucks.

On Chaeyoung and Dahyun's end, their plan to sneak through the vents was successful, they dropped down into what seemed to be an office room. Reaching back into the vent, Chaeyoung pulled out a pizza box that she then put on the table. "I seriously can't believe we're doing your laxative idea." Dahyun sighed, "It'll be funny!! Now come hide before someone comes!!!" Chaeyoung said, jumping back into the vent. Soon enough, a man walked into the room and was at first confused by the pizza, but then began to eat it. The laxative took work pretty quickly, and he ran into the bathroom. Dahyun and Chaeyoung quickly blocked the door from opening using a chair and vented again.

Mina had slipped away from the group and was quietly investigating a thin hallway, in which a guard was sleeping. She crept by him but wasn't quiet enough, she turned around and a gun was being pointed at her head. "CODE RED GUYS!!!! MINA'S IN THE HALLWAYYYYY!!!" Jeongyeon yelled through Jihyo, Sana, and Nayeon's walkie-talkie. "DAMN BITCH WHICH ONE THERE'S LIKE 50." Nayeon yelled back, to which she didn't receive a reply. The three of them ran and coincidentally reached the hallway Mina was in. Very movie-style, Sana knocked out the guard with the gun out with a fire extinguisher, receiving praise from her teammates. The four of them continued down the hall until they reached a jailcell looking section. Looking inside, they saw what looked like a combination of Dahyun and Will Smith. "She wasn't lying..." Jihyo breathed, in shock at the genie in front of her, "OMG! Does this mean I get to get wishes now..???" Sana asked, also staring at the genie. Ignoring the question, Nayeon picked up her walkie-talkie and signaled (sign을 보내, signal 보내) to everyone else. "Guys, we found the genie!! Come here!!"

After everyone arrived at the genie area, Dubu pulled a lever to let it loose, but doing so set off an alarm. The 8 girls and the genie ran upstairs (do genies run?? no they float ok it floated anyways) in an attempt to leave, but were ambushed by about two dozen agents with guns, at the front was a young adult with short, unkempt, black hair and gray eyes (reference to the hit game Persona 4 and the hit fanfiction Welcome to the Limousine by murka1222 on ao3). "You girls made a mistake coming here..." He said, walking closer to the girls, "You made a mistake taking MY genie!" Dahyun yelled, but before the man could reply, a huge bulldozer smashed through the wall (like a bulldozerrrrrrrr), and at the wheel was none other than Jeongyeon!!!

When Jeongyeon broke the wall down, it caused not only the government agents to fly backwards, but also caused the young adult's wig to fly off!?!? "Wait... ADACHI!? IT WAS YOU!?" Dahyun exclaimed, shocked at who the man revealed to be. "You know him?" Momo asked, Dahyun took a deep breath, "Adachi... is my uncle...." Sana choked on her own spit, "He's WHAT...?????" "Why did you do it Adachi!?" Dahyun said, stomping over to him, "I was gonna use the wishes to make me not bald anymore, but YOU guys ruined my plan." Before Dahyun could reply, Jeongyeon stepped out of the bulldozer, "CAN YOU GUYS SHUT THE FUCK UP AND COME ON ALREADY." The crew looked at each other and ran into the bulldozer.

TWICE finally arrived at home.

Dubu: I can't thank you guys enough!
I'm Gonna be a Star: Yeah you really can't, that was so much work
Jeongy: Don't be rude, anytime Dubu!!!
Shy Shy Shy: So, what are you gonna use the wishes on anyways?
Chaeng Bieber: Omg get tickets to Justin Bieber's next concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't get them in time...
Minari: She'll use them on whatever she wants to.
God Jihyo: agreed, but if you ever need ideas I can give some pretty good ones
Piggy: Get food. A lot of it. A lot of food.
🧈: I agree with that one ^^.
Dubu: Haha guys, I'll think about it, but we should all get to sleep it's late!! See you at school tomorrow!
(Everyone else says goodnight)

The next day at school, everyone completely forgot about their eggs, but it didn't matter because they also fully missed a day of school due to the Area51 fiasco (somehow they didn't realize it). Basically, everyone failed the assignment!!! Mr.JYP wasn't convinced with their Area51 story... But it's okay because Dahyun has her wishes back and Adachi is forever bald!
