Chapter Text
"But-but why?" Pacifica Northwest asked to her parents.
"You have been hanging around that.... riff-raff for far too long. At least too much to our liking." Preston Northwest, her father said, his face grimacing in disgust for even mentioning them.
"Yes. That's right. I mean just look at you. Look at what they've done to you. How you behave. What you watch. Do you remember how long it took to get the mud out of the mansion?" Priscilla Northwest said.
"Okay, maybe the mud was unnecessary, and I'm sorry for that. But I won't apologize for everything else. I still have manners. I'm a good person. That should be enough. And what's wrong with what I watch? It's better than watching fashion shows and rich reality TV all day. It's the same formula for a lot of them anyway." Pacifica asked.
"That is enough young lady! Effective immediately, you will cease seeing those 'non-prestigious peasants' at that shanty house!" Preston ordered. "In fact...." He starts dialing on his phone.
"I am calling right now to buy another mansion to move to, just so we can move there when they're done. Which, when I'm through will be no less than a week! And because I can." He said.
Pacifica had to think of something. She didn't want to lose her real friends. She didn't exactly like to admit as openly as they would(she was really only talking about Mabel if she had to be honest), but for the first time ever, she felt as if she had real friends. Friends that were with her not because of the money she had, her name, because she or her parents bribed them to be. But because they liked her for the person she was. She was having more fun than she thought she would ever have. She was finally learning to create her own path thanks to friends that didn't follow her every whim like robots. And she didn't want to lose them because her parents refused to change. But what could she do? She was known to lie but there was a creeping feeling poking the back of her mind telling her that what she was going to say wasn't true. Something that she herself would admit didn't develop until she started to hang with the Pines.
As much as she tried to hold it back, it slipped out. But when it did, she knew that she didn't really have any other cards to play, so she didn't have any regrets when she said it.
"I have friends!" Pacifica blurted out.
"One second." Preston said to the person on the other side of the phone. He was guessing it was a contractor.
"What was that Pacifica?" He asked.
"I have more friends. I've met some people other than the ones at the Shack." Pacifica repeated, trying to look away from her parent's face as she said it but she couldn't.
"I think you'll find them up to your standards and maybe more." Pacifica said more confidently, trying to feign her usual smug attitude.
"Really now?" Preston said. This caused Pacifica to look at him with a frown, fear starting to develop that he saw through her lie.
"Well that's just splendid!" Preston said happy. "Cancel the house. And if you can't cancel it, turn it into a mall or something." He said on the phone before hanging up.
"Well...." Pacifica said, pulling out a mirror and messing with her hair to make her case more convincing. "I'm sure you two have a party or something to go to." Pacifica said before beginning to head for the door.
"I'll be on my way." She said, about to open the door before she heard a commanding voice.
"Pacifica Elise Northwest!" Priscilla said.
"Yes, mom?" Pacifica asked.
"And just how many friends do you have?" Preston asked.
She was starting to get nervous. She expected there was something for them to do. Someone for them to see. There always was. In those cases they would never really look into what their daughter was doing. That was why they were never around to watch her when she played golf. Never around for any events she did. Never around to play with her. Never around to... she had to stop thinking about it because thinking about it more only made her realize how much they were never really a part of her life. And during that was when she blurted out an answer.
"Over a hundred!" Pacifica said.
"A hundred, hmm?" Preston said.
"What have we told you?" Priscilla said.
"Um..." Pacifica muttered.
"When you have a new line of friends as plentiful and as prestigious as that, you must always give them a warm welcome!" Preston said.
"Oh.... right!" Pacifica said, forcing a smile. "How could I forget such a thing!" She said, laughing. "I'll try to remember next time, because I'm sure they're really, really busy. Parties, events, dances. They wouldn't have time for something as small as a welcome."
"Of course they would! All of them together under one roof! Think of the publicity for all of them!" Preston said. He pulls out his phone again. "Now, who are their names? I will inform them all of the great party we're holding two days from now!"
"Uh... well...." Pacifica started.
"What is it?" Priscilla said, a mirror out.
"You wouldn't be lying about this would you?" Preston said.
"I...... I.... I want to keep it a surprise!" Pacifica said. "I'll call all of them myself! Personally!" Pacifica said, pulling out her phone.
"Hmm... a party where we as parents are not informed of any of the participants until the day of just because they are rich." Preston said. "A wonderful idea!"
"Yeah. I'll uh... be outside. Calling!" Pacifica said before getting ready to open the door.
"If you're lying to us, we're cancelling more of your credit cards! And you'll never see Gravity Falls again." Preston warned as the front door of the mansion closed.
"Yes, I'm having a party two days from now." Pacifica started loudly, trying to make sure her dad heard it.
"Pacifica?" A voice said on the other end of the phone. It was Mabel.
"Yes, the food and amenities will be to your liking!" Pacifica continued loudly before walking away.
"I didn't ask about the food, but if you're having a party that's awesome! Although I've never really heard anyone invite in the way you have. Is this some type of new Northwest trend?" Mabel asked.
"No , it isn't." Pacifica said, returning to her normal voice now that she was sure she was far enough.
"Then-"
"Look, I'll tell you in the shack."
"Okay. Well, I'll be in-" Mabel stopped when she heard Wendy talking.
"What's up Pacifica? I'm guessing you wanna go see the twins. They're upstairs." Wendy said.
"Thanks." She goes upstairs and sees the twins. Mabel still holding her phone and Dipper writing in the journal again. Dipper was in his usual attire, while Mabel was wearing a red sweater with a rose on it.
"That was fast. Have you been doing some jogging exercise?" Mabel asked her.
"Hey Pacif-." Dipper said, continuing to write in the journal before he was interrupted by her.
"Guys. I messed up. I messed up! This is bad. This is so bad!" Pacifica said, putting her hands on her head in a panic state.
"What was I thinking? Why would I say something like that?!" She continued, moving around the room.
"Woah, woah, calm down there missy! Tell me what happened. Woman to woman." Mabel said.
"Okay." Pacifica said before taking a deep breath. "MyparentswerethreateningtotakemeawayfromyouguyssoIliedandsaidIhadrichfriendsbutIreallydon'tIonlyhaveyouguys." She says really fast and garbled together before taking another deep breath. "Butforoncetheydidn'tgotosomepartyormeetingorsomethingandnow-" Mabel suddenly slapped her.
"Did you just... slap me?!" Pacifica said in a state of shock that Mabel would do something like that.... to her of all people.
"Yes I did!" Mabel said.
"You know if I wasn't in a state of crisis right now, I would sue you for that!" Pacifica said.
"That's the Pacifica I know and love." Dipper commented, still in the journal.
"No one asked you!" Pacifica said.
"Ignore my little brother. He can be so immature at times." Mabel said.
"That, we can agree on." Pacifica said, lowering her eyes at him.
"I'm right here you know." Dipper said.
"I know. I wanted you to hear that." Pacifica said.
"You know what, I'm definitely going to ignore you from this point on." Dipper said.
"So, what's your crisis, girl? Problem solver Mabel is on the case!" Mabel said.
"Problem?" Dipper snorted before saying, "She probably got more of her cards cancelled or something." Dipper commented.
"I thought you said you were going to ignore me? So why don't you do me a favor and do so, journal boy." She said, a little annoyed at him now.
"I made an exception just to mess with you. And it worked." Dipper said, grinning a little before looking back at the journal.
Pacifica grimaced in annoyance.
"And by the way, this 'journal boy' and his journal have saved your butt. Twice." Dipper said.
"Hmph. Well guess what? I don't need you or your stupid journal." Pacifica said, folding her arms and closing her eyes in confidence.
A few seconds passed and there was no response.
"What? No smart comeback this time?" Pacifica said, opening her eyes, grinning at him.
"Nope." Dipper said, and opened a book to read.
It messed with her a little that he was taking this so well.
She sighed, closed her eyes and she opened them again. She suddenly grabbed a hold of Dipper.
"Okay! I lied! I need your help!" Pacifica said.
"You forgot the magic word." Dipper said, grinning.
She sighs. "You're enjoying this aren't you?"
"Yes. I am." Dipper said, still grinning.
"Please." Pacifica said, annoyed.
Dipper laughed a little. "Okay, okay. I'll help you." He said, straightening his face. "Besides, I feel like you're not going to leave and I'm not going to be able to enjoy reading until I do."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Pacifica asked, taking it as an insult.
"I mean you were being loud. And pretty annoying." Dipper said with blunt honesty.
"Speak for yourself." Pacifica said.
"Look, insulting me isn't exactly the way to go if you want my help."
"And neither is insulting or teasing me!" Pacifica said, shaking him a little unknowingly.
"Fair point. So for starters, what exactly do you need help with?" He asked before he realized Pacifica was still holding on to him. "Could you let go of me?" He paused for a little less than a second before adding, "Please?"
Pacifica realized it too after he said it and let him go. "Sorry."
Mabel looked at the two, a sly look on her face. She had that look sometime during their bickering and was giggling a little in silence. Pacifica and Dipper see her making this face after she lets Dipper go.
"What?" Pacifica and Dipper asked simultaneously.
"Nothing." Mabel said, going to knit another sweater.
"So my parents said that I was hanging out with you guys too much. They were going to move to another mansion. And... in typical Northwest fashion, they were going to get a house to be made just for this move-in. And then, that's when I lied and said that I had friends. Well, ones that my parents would approve of anyway for their status. So they said they would do a party and I told them I would invite them over."
"Come on Pacifica, you're rich. There's got to be some rich people out there that you can call. They'll be your friend and attend just because of that. I'd add the internet, but there's just so many ways to hide who you are." Dipper reasoned.
"But that's the thing. They're not really my friends. Other than you guys, I have no real friends. So when it's time for the party, I'm not going to be interested, or even look like I'm having a good time." Pacifica said.
"What if we disguise ourselves? And we'll have tophats and fancy handlebar mustaches." Mabel suggested.
"A great try, but that's not going to work. You see my parents asked how many I have." Pacifica said.
"How many did you tell them?" Dipper said, bracing himself a little as this was probably where the problem would be.
"Over a hundred." Pacifica said.
"Of course you said something like that." Dipper said, not surprised in the slightest.
"Stupid I know. But... come on, you can fix this. Right?" Pacifica said.
"I don't see how I can or anyone else here can fix this. What are we going to do, ask everyone in town to disguise themselves in fancy suits and dresses, and expensive jewelry and accessories so they'll seem like they're a completely new, totally different rich person?" Dipper asked.
"That's not a bad idea at all. I'm sure Candy and Grenda would be all for it." Mabel said about to call them.
"No, that's a bad idea. Knowing the people here, someone is going to screw it up if we did try it." Dipper said to Mabel.
"There's not much else I can do, sorry Paci-" He then realized why Pacifica asked for his help specifically. "No. No, no, no. Don't get me wrong, I want to help you Pacifica. I don't want to see you go. But I can't use the journals for something like this. It would be too dangerous. Last time you went behind our backs and used one of them anyway even after I warned you. And Mabel and I almost lost our faces! I'm sorry. We're just going to have to find some other way. But what? And no Mabel, we're not going with the disguise plan." Dipper said.
"Just know that I've got Candy and Grenda on speed dial when you're ready to go." Mabel said.
"Nothing else is going to work for something like this. Dipper, please." Pacifica said. Dipper and Mabel had never seen her begging for help like she is now. This plead was sincere.
Dipper caved in. He sighs and looks down before looking back up at Pacifica. "Okay, I'll look in the journals." He said in surrender.
"Thank you." Pacifica said about to hug him. She was getting close to him but she stops herself. She backs away from him to give him back his personal space and gives him a handshake.
"Don't thank me yet. I don't even know if the journals would even have something like this." Dipper said. He goes to get the journal he was writing in, Journal 3 and flips through the pages until he finds something that may be useful. Nothing. He goes to journal 2. Nothing. Journal 1. Nothing.
He closes the first journal. "Nothing?" Pacifica asked, a bit of panic creeping out from it in her tone. Dipper shakes his head.
"Sorry." He said.
"What am I going to do?" Pacifica said out loud.
"Look, don't panic. We'll figure out something. I don't know what that something is yet, but something." He said.
"Thanks."
Dipper nods, acknowledging her thanks.
Pacifica goes to Greasy's Diner to be by herself and think.
"Pacifica? Huh. Didn't expect to see you around here. Judging by your sad face, somethin's bothering you." Lazy Susan said, going over to the table she was sitting at.
"Yeah. It's nothing to really be worried about though." Pacifica said.
"I'm not sure what someone like me could do to cheer you up but I guess I could give it a shot. You want anything to order?"
Pacifica gestures for her to lean closer. Susan does and it allows Pacifica to whisper in her ear something. After she was finished, Lazy Susan nods her head in understanding. But she also didn't expect Pacifica of all people to have an interest in food like that.
"You got it!" Susan said.
A few minutes later, a man came into the diner. "Money? Food? Anyone?" He said. From his clothes and appearance, he hasn't exactly been able to perform upkeep on himself or his clothes.
"Here you go. Patty melt with deep fried onion rings and a medium milkshake." Lazy Susan said.
"Thanks." Pacifica said, handing her the cash right away. "Keep 20 for yourself as a tip."
"Anytime sweetie." Susan said before moving on to the next table.
"Um, aren't you going to-" Pacifica started before seeing that the man walked past Lazy Susan without her even acknowledging he was there.
"Hey, you there. Would you mind sharing some food? Please?" The man asked.
She grimaced a little. While she wanted the food on one hand, as this was one of the few times she could deep fried foods without anyone noticing or questioning it, on the other, the man looked like she needed it more than she did.
"Susan!" Pacifica called.
"What can I do for ya?" Susan asked, walking over.
"Um, is there any way for you to get an extra plate for this man right here?" She asked Susan. Susan looked at where Pacifica was looking and blinked her one open eye a couple of times.
"I don't see anyone else here. Do you mean someone from another table?" Susan asked.
"No, he's literally right there." Pacifica said, pointing right next to her.
"Nope. Still don't see it." Susan said, shrugging.
Pacifica sighs. This was going nowhere and she didn't want to keep pushing it and make Susan think she was crazy. "Never mind."
"You still want the second plate?" Susan asked.
"No thanks." Pacifica said.
"Alright then. Let me know if you need anything else." Susan said. Pacifica nods.
"You're just nervous because of the party. Just eat the food and the stress will be all but gone. For now anyway." Pacifica said to herself.
"I'm guessing its a no. Fair enough." The man said, about to walk away.
Pacifica sighs. She knows this seemed like a crazy thing to do since no one was seemingly there but she did it anyway. "Wait! Here, take some of it."
"Oh, thank you so much!" The man said, taking some of the deep fried onion rings.
"All right! Now I'm back to full strength!" The man said, suddenly going from a man that couldn't afford to perform any type of upkeep to a man who performed a good bit of upkeep on himself. He had a ponytail, a suit with a bowtie and dress shoes. She couldn't tell the color of each of these because the man had blue surrounding him and his entire body.
"Wait. You're a ghost." Pacifica said, remembering the ghost in the Northwest Mansion.
"That I am!"
"So how did- never mind." Pacifica said. She wasn't even going to waste time asking questions about how he was able to eat if he was a ghost. She'd reserve those boring questions and answers for Dipper.
"Who are you?" Pacifica asked instead.
"Ah, yes. Thomas Redford. You probably don't recognize me because of your young age. However, your parents would."
"My parents?" Pacifica said, raising an eyebrow.
"You may or may not know that your parents, and for the most part, the entire Northwest family weren't exactly the best people in the world." Thomas started.
"Tell me something I don't know."
"So you are aware. But, continuing on. I was a friend of the Northwests. I was an entrepreneur in liquor. Of course, many of the parties they had involved drinks, so it wasn't long before we crossed paths and became friends. It was a mutual relationship from a business standpoint as well. Being constantly used and endorsed by the Northwest name helped me gain a lot of customers and increased my profits. They had someone to rely on to give them drinks at a lower cost in bulk than the rest. And, I was always one of their honored and most recognized guests in their parties. But it was a few years later that I really learned how cruel business... and the Northwests can be. On this very same date, I was getting ready to go to another party, chat and catch up with the Northwests and others. Until I wasn't let in."
"Didn't you get the memo? We aren't using you anymore." A man told him, who was a Northwest that looked eerily similar to Preston Northwest.
"Yes. We've found someone else that is willing to give us drinks at the same competitive price. And is known in several countries around the world!" A woman said, who was the man's wife.
The man they spoke of joined them. He had a beard and a white suit with a black bowtie. His hair had a curl extending over the right side of his face, similar to Superman, save that it is extending on the side and not in between his eyes.
"To be honest, your drinks don't exactly taste the same as they did before. Perhaps it started when you started to really build 'connections' with the riff-raff. No worries, if you want to connect with them so much, we'll make sure you be with them as well." The man that looked like Preston said.
"Sorry about this mate. Business, I'm sure you understand. Hope one day we'll be able to have a drink together and laugh about all this." The man with the beard said with an Australian accent.
"Security, please escort him to the door." The man said. Security guards followed the Northwest's orders and escorted him out. Thomas turned, and the large doors that were there before entering the yard of the mansion were shut on him.
"And they weren't kidding. When the Northwests stopped endorsing me and gave their reasons why, more and more people gradually left my business. Until I had to go bankrupt. Things were hard but I could still somewhat hold the fort with jobs. But the bleeding was just too much. Eventually, I was on the streets. No friends, no family to help me." He said.
"I happened to meet the Northwests by chance at a restaurant. I asked them for food, but they ate, left, and drove off. They acted like I wasn't even there."
"And it's been that way with every single Northwest I've encountered. Before today." He said, smiling.
"Well, you're probably wondering why I would be here. If I was trying to haunt the family, it doesn't seem like I'm doing a good job does it? Well, you'd be right. I'm here because before being freed and finally be able to be at peace, I can provide you the one thing that most, if not all of the Northwest parties lacked: Real friends and connections. Oddly specific huh? Well, there's one reason for it. During my time on the streets, I realized that none of the interactions I had with the Northwests were genuine. They never really cared about me as a friend. It was more of a... transaction. I was something they could use to further themselves, and they would give something back to me in return, with me still needing them more than they needed me. And that was how I lost. While they continued to thrive."
"I'm... sorry. I know my family's done horrible things. And I know I won't be able to answer for everything they did in the past. But I can try my best to make their name better. For the present. And the future." Pacifica said.
"And as for the party, I have a party in two days. My parents organized it for me." She added.
"Well, that's oddly convenient."
"Yeah, well there's one problem. I kind of lied and told them I had over a hundred friends that had prestige they would approve of." Pacifica said.
"What on Earth would make you do something like that? You're a Northwest! People would beg to be your friend."
"That's the thing. The people that I'm friends with. Like, really friends with. They're what they'd call, 'common people.' Not exactly the kind of people they approved of. I guess, because I chose not to act like them anymore they got tired of it, and said they were going to move away from here. So I lied and said that I made friends that weren't common people just to get them to not move. But I didn't expect for them to actually throw a party. Now I'm either going to be bored out of my mind, and they might know something's wrong, or I'll have no one there. Either way, they'll find out I lied. And I'm going to be in trouble when they do."
"I see. Not to worry, I think I have the perfect solution to your dilemma, Ms. Northwest." Thomas said.
"What are you going to do?" Pacifica asked.
Thomas snapped his fingers. "You'll see in a couple of days from now." He said assuredly. "I shall see you then!" He said, before disappearing.
"Who am I kidding, none of that was real. What am I going to do?" Pacifica said before depressingly eating one of the deep fried onion rings.
After finishing the entire plate and milkshake, she groaned and put her face on the table. She felt that she was all but doomed. If Dipper couldn't come up with something, no one else could. She left it that way for several minutes before deciding to go see Dipper and Mabel to see if they had come up with a plan yet.
Chapter Text
Two Days Later
It was the day of the party! Pacifica opened her eyes. She sighed and went to go wash her face. After washing her face and getting dressed in her usual clothes, she was greeted by her parents.
"Morning sweetheart!" Preston said.
"Morning dad. Mom." Pacifica said.
"It's the day of the party! I would have expected you to be more excited." Priscilla said.
"I am. I'm just tired." Pacifica said. Which was partially true. She also wasn't that excited because she knew that no guests were going to show up. And it was all going to end with her having to move away.
"Come on! Chop chop! Your guests will be arriving in a few hours!" Preston said.
After finishing breakfast, she went through the motions of getting dressed. She wore a light blue dress with matching diamond-shaped earrings.
3 Hours Later
She waited, holding her chin on one hand with an unenthused look.
A few minutes later, she heard a knock on the door. Her expression wasn't really changed. She thought it was Dipper, Mabel or one of her friends at the door in an attempt to disguise themselves.
"Hello! You're Pacifica right?" The girl said. She had long black hair in a ponytail and was wearing a pink dress with a crown on her head.
"Hi. And yes. I am." She responded.
"Jetta Handover. I hope you don't mind that I brought my dog Mac. I promise that he is well-behaved." Jetta said, the blue greyhound beside her.
"Okay. Sure! Come on in!" Pacifica said, a little surprised that someone actually came and perked up a little.
"I guess I'm the first one to arrive." Jetta said as she looked around. "A nice place you have here!"
"Thanks." Pacifica said.
"We heard the door. It looks like the first guest has arrived." Preston said as he and Priscilla headed downstairs.
"Jetta Handover. When I heard there was a party, I just couldn't miss it! With permission from my parents of course." Jetta said.
"As I told Pacifica, I hope you don't mind if my dog Mac attends. I promise he's well-behaved. He hasn't won several prizes and dog show awards for nothing!" Jetta said, with the greyhound putting this behavior on display for them to see. "I myself lead the parades and compete in talent shows on Birdwell Island. It's off near New York City." She added.
"How wonderful! Your parents are very proud I'm sure!" Priscilla said. Another ring of the doorbell was heard.
Pacifica opened it.
"Hi! Pacifica right? I was told a party was happening here. This is the right place isn't it?" A girl with lavender hair, a black dress with a mixture of purple and black on her skirt and shoulder areas asked. She also wore golden earrings to match her eyes.
"Yeah! Come on in!" Pacifica said.
"Amity. Amity Blight." She said, introducing herself to Pacifica.
"Thanks for coming. I-" She started as another ring was heard.
"I have to get that. Sorry." Pacifica said.
"No, you're fine! I'll just introduce myself to your parents." Amity said.
"I heard there was a party here hosted by Pacifica Northwest. And you must be that lovely girl." A boy with blonde hair, wearing a red Polo-collared shirt and beige scarf around his neck said with a southern accent. "A pleasure to meet you ma'am."
"Come on in." Pacifica said.
"Oh, where are my manners? Edward Phillip James Lawrence The Third. But you can just call me Eddie." He said, greeting himself before he walked in.
Before she could even close the door, a limo drove up. Out stepped a brown-skinned boy with purple-tinted hair wearing a red jacket, a white dress shirt and brown dress shoes that also wore glasses.
"Edward Phillip James Lawrence The Third. But you all can just call me Eddie." Eddie said. "And might I say you all look stunning! I absolutely love that purple dress. I'm sure my friend Madison would want to know all about where you got it from." Eddie said, the last compliment going to Amity.
"Oh! Thank you! I'm Amity."
"You're here for the party right?" Pacifica asked the boy when he approached the door. The others along with Pacifica's parents were all getting to know each other.
"Yep!" He said.
"I'm Remy."
"Pacifica."
"I can't wait to get this party started!" Remy said as he walked in to greet the rest.
Thrusters could be heard landing and seconds later, a man approached the door in a suit.
"Tony Stark. Though I'm pretty sure you all know who I am. Hope I'm not too late." He said, taking off his sunshades.
Pacifica had a look of shock on her face as her eyes widened. Tony Stark? The Tony Stark of Stark Industries? Leader of the Avengers? Standing right in front of her mansion? She thought that this had to be some sort of dream. And if not, just what exactly did that ghost do?
"Yeah. Shocked face aside, you're Pacifica Northwest. I already got that before I came here. Please to meet ya kid." Tony said before walking in.
"Tony Stark!? Oh my gosh!" Remy said, trying, but failing to contain his excitement. "Cricket and Tilly aren't gonna believe this!"
"Too late? I think I might have come too early." He said, the comment coming from him observing that there were only four other people other than him that were in the mansion at the moment.
"Heh. Better to be early than late." A man said.
"Cap! Nice of you to join us." Tony said.
"Captain America. It's great to have you! Please come on in!" Pacifica said, still surprised a little.
"You can just call me Cap, Pacifica. I've heard some good things about you, kid. I'd love to join your party." Cap said, smiling.
"Captain America! Thank you for your service!" Preston said, saluting with surprise in his voice, shocked that the co-leaders of the Avengers had stepped foot in his family's mansion.
"I'm sorry. I'm... not exactly from around here. Who exactly are these two?" Amity asked the other guests.
"Only two of one of the coolest superhero teams to ever exist! Captain America and Iron Man! Co-leaders of the Avengers!" Remy said.
"I think I'd have to ask Luz about all of this. I'm sure she could explain more of it." Amity said.
Another ring was heard. When she opened it again, a chubby boy with brown hair and blue eyes was standing in front of it. She couldn't help but think she heard a hip hop beat.
"Eugene Hamilton. But you all can call me Bling Bling Boy." He said before grabbing Pacifica's arm. "May I Pacifica?"
Pacifica knew what Eugene was about to do. She had no objections about it since he asked. He went and kissed her hand.
"Now if only Susan was here." He said dreamily as he walked in.
More and more people were right behind him.
"Sup kid. Ken Masters. Let's get this party started!"
A dark-skinned man was not too far behind him. "My apologies for being so late, Ms. Northwest. But, it is still a pleasure to meet you. T'Challa." He said, greeting formally.
"Took you long enough! Where were you? And where's the rest of the team?" Tony asked.
Several people at once came to the door. But they didn't seem to be together at all. The first person to enter was a girl with orange hair, green stud earrings and a purple dress.
"Hi!!" She said. It was Daphne Blake, a member of the renowned Mystery Inc.
A boy wearing a black suit and a black tie was right after her. "Hey. Pacifica is it? I'm honored to be able to join your party." He said. He wanted to bow, but knew that he couldn't because others were right behind him. The japan featherweight boxing champion, Ippo Makunouchi!
"Likewise." A girl with white hair tied back into a ponytail wearing a light blue sleeveless dress that seemed to have a snowflake pattern extending from her chest area all the way to her skirt. She continued the snow theme with snowflake-shaped earrings and had a blue pendant. Weiss Schnee, member of team RWBY in Beacon Academy and heiress of the Schnee Dust Company.
Behind her was Karin Kanzuki, head of the Kanzuki business. And more members of the Avengers. It soon became too many to even count.
20 Minutes Later
"Been a while since we've seen each other eh Tony?" Ken said to him, referring to when they teamed up along with several other heroes including the X-Men to battle the likes of Apocalypse and Abyss.
"And for once it isn't for some universal threat. Tell me, what exact enterprise are you head of?" Tony said, as he drank out of the glass cup he had in his hand. It contained punch. Since some of the guests were underage, no alcoholic drinks were present.
"Masters Hotel...." Ken started to explain.
"Amity? Is that you?" Sam Manson said.
"Sam! I haven't seen you in so long!" Amity said as they gave each other a hug.
"I love the hair."
"Thanks."
"So, how are things going with you and Luz?"
"Great! We're dating now. We even got our first kiss!" Amity said.
"Like, kiss kiss? On the lips?" Sam asked.
"Yes!" Amity said, cheerful.
"Oh, congrats!" She said, giving her a high five.
"So, how about you and Danny. Any luck?"
"Well.... wait. How do you know about that?" Sam said.
"Luz."
Bulma was showing Marucho exactly how Capsules work. When she used one, a mirror came out of it. "Fascinating!" Marucho said.
"I absolutely love the wardrobe from you three!" Daphne said to Clover, Sam and Alex.
"Thanks. Our fashion sense is one department we never slack in." Clover said.
Alex suddenly squealed, causing Clover, and Sam to turn.
"What is it?" Clover asked.
"You're so cute!" Alex said to the boy she ran to.
"Oh. Thanks!" He said, red a little.
The boy suddenly felt a tap on his back. Because he didn't expect it, it caused him to stumble a bit. "Ippo! Didn't expect to see you here!" A large man said.
"Takamura! It's good to see you!" Ippo said.
"So I see you're already choppin' it up with the ladies. You sly dog." Takamura said, grinning.
"That's not it at all! We just started-"
"You're talking to the featherweight boxing champ of Japan!" Takamura said, gesturing to Ippo.
"Boxing champ huh? Cute, and a stud." Alex said, even more interested in him.
Ippo laughed, closing his eyes and smiling a little.
"Yeah. But I've only had one title defense match so far. No one else has challenged me yet." Ippo said.
"Ah don't be modest kid! A champ is a champ! Take that as a compliment that you've only been challenged once! That means no one thinks they're able to stand up to ya! If only I had it that easy as Middleclass champ. But even so, I'll keep knockin' em down!" He said in a booming, confident voice.
"I can tell from here that you're parents aren't exactly the caring, loving type." Amity said.
"It's.... tough. At first, I was just like them. But then, I met some people that gave me the courage to want to be different." Pacifica said to Amity, Sam and Weiss as she looked over at her parents who were talking to Tony.
"I can understand. I'm... not exactly having the best relations with my family either." Weiss said. "In fact, where I'm from, I joined Beacon Academy to become a huntress. Which was against what my father wanted. He wanted me to go to school in Atlas, and stay with my sister and brother. As for my mother... she and my father haven't been on good terms with one another. And I haven't been on good terms with either." She said, before looking down. She then looks back up at the two and perks up. "I have no regrets attending Beacon. The friends, connections I've made there. They've been very meaningful. Hopefully, once I graduate, I can bring the company out of the ashes that my father created. I really wish they were here now." Weiss said, referring to the rest of team RWBY.
"While I do care for my parents, I don't appreciate them forcing me to do things that don't fit me personally. They want me to live this optimistic, 'happy go-lucky' lifestyle like them. But it just seems fake to me. I know a lot of people are pretty open about their wealth, but not me. I'd rather not have that burden of people flocking towards me as if they're really invested in what I care about." Sam said.
"My parents were the same way. Well, at least my mom is as of right now. My brother and sister are cool though. But, my parents aren't something I really want to open up more about right now. I'm sorry." Amity said as the last she saw of her dad was in the Boiling Isles before she and her friends had to escape to Earth.
"Hey. It's all right. With the exception of Amity and I, we've only known each other for a bit, but I feel like we could all be friends. And sometimes, friends can be the ones that care about you the most. Now, who wants a tofu burger? I packed extras in case anyone else wanted any." She said, putting them out at a table.
"Um...." Weiss started.
"Or if regular isn't your type, I've got spicy tofu burgers too!" Sam said.
Weiss and Pacifica looked at each other, unsure of what to say to her.
Pacifica then heard the doorbell ring. "Excuse me."
"Of course!" Sam said.
"I'll make sure to save you something!" She called out.
As she headed to the door, she passed by several other guests.
"Hi! Clover! Wanna dance?" Clover asked the teenager standing off to himself. He was wearing a long, white sleeveless coat with the letters "KC" on it. He also wore a pendant that looked like a dueling card. It was Seto Kaiba, owner of KaibaCorp.
"No thanks." He said before closing his eyes.
Clover could tell that he wanted to be left be, so she didn't push it.
"Great start there, Clover." She said to herself.
A girl with orange hair in a ponytail almost bumped into Clover. She was wearing a blue dress with a gray tiara on her head with a blue jewel in the middle. It was Larmina, the niece of Princess Allura of planet Arus, cadet of the Galaxy Alliance Flight Academy, and most notably the pilot of the Blue Lion of Voltron along with her aunt.
"Sorry!" Both of them said simultaneously.
Pacifica opened the door.
It was Mabel, Dipper, Candy, Grenda, and Wendy all in disguises.
"Hey Paz-paz!" Mabel said.
"Please don't call me that." Pacifica said.
Dipper grinned and tried to hold back a laugh. "Paz-paz."
"Call me that and I will send someone to break your limbs." Pacifica said to Dipper.
Dipper was silent, but he still was trying to hold in a laugh. "Come on, you have to admit it's a little funny." He decided to say. To which Pacifica rolled her eyes.
"What are you guys doing here? What if my parents see you?" She said.
"Pfft. Oh we're fine. As long as we've got these fancy handlebar mustaches, no one will recognize us." Mabel said, twirling one end of her fake mustache.
"I recognize that obnoxious voice anywhere. It's the riff-raff from that shack." Preston said, now near the door.
"Riff-raff. Come on, we've got fancy handlebar mustaches!" Mabel said, as she grabbed hers. But as she continued twirling with it and messing with it, it fell.
"Oops."
"Kindly escort them out." Preston said.
"Actually. I think they should stay." Tony said.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think you understand. These people do not have the status or luxury to have the privilege of attending a party such as this." Preston said.
"Pacifica! New third BFF! Help us!" Grenda said as they were being carried out.
"Pacifica!" Candy started before speaking Korean.
"Stop! They're my friends. Let them stay." Pacifica said.
"Don't listen to her. Kick them out!" Preston said. "I would advise you not make this difficult in front of your guests. You don't want that to be on the Northwest image do you?"
"And you wouldn't want kicking this kid's friends out on your image either. Just imagine what people would say when they find out Preston Northwest kicks out their daughter's friends in her own party. In front of the Avengers." Tony said.
Preston let those thoughts weigh on him.
"Seconded. This is her party. If those are her friends and she wants them to stay, status or not, why keep them out if they haven't done anything to deserve to be asked to leave?" Steve said.
"I can tell that you haven't exactly made the best decisions involving people around you, including your own daughter. The least you can do is make one now." A man said approaching them in a navy blue suit. Bruce Wayne.
Preston caved. He couldn't be seen doing this in front of some of the most influential people in the world. Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers? There was no way he would win this.
"Let them stay." Preston said. The guards put them all down.
"I'm... going to get a drink." Preston said, trying to save face as he was forced to bend to the will of three people more influential then he was in front of several other influential people.
"Thank you." Pacifica said.
"I didn't grow up rich. But even so, I know that friendship transcends wealth." Steve said.
"Do any of thou know where the beer is?" Thor asked, approaching them.
"Uh, Thor. This party has kids in it. There's no alcohol." Tony said.
"No beer!?" Thor said, borderline yelling.
"Relax, there's root beer over there. No need to make a scene goldilocks." Clint said, passing by.
"It transcends looks too. Just look at the big guy." Clint commented, referring to Hulk, who was just finished talking with Takamura and was going to where Sam and Daphne were, who were commenting on how similar they sounded to each other.
"Anyone eating these? No? Thanks." Hulk said, taking the tofu burgers and eating them quickly.
"He hulked out because he was hungry before we got here." Clint said.
He then realized that the burgers didn't taste right. As if it wasn't real meat.
"What was in those things?" Hulk asked.
"Oh those are tofu burgers. One hundred percent healthier and leaves a better moral conscience after eating them compared to real beef." Sam said proudly.
"Forget conscience!" Hulk said before pointing a thumb at himself. "I'm hungry!" He said before walking away.
"Here's hoping Banner's more morally conscious than the green giant." Sam commented.
"So, I have a question." Remy said.
"Fire away." Tony said.
"If you guys are here, then who's watching the Avengers Mansion?" Remy asked.
"Oh that? Don't worry kid, we've got that covered." Tony said.
Avengers Mansion
Spider-Man was playing video games with Wolverine. They were playing Mortal Kombat 11.
Spider-Man had already won two of the matches they played with Johnny Cage. He beat Wolverine's Rambo and Geras.
"Best 3 out of 5?" Spidey asked.
Logan unsheathed his claws and impaled Peter's controller, breaking it.
"A simple no would have been good too." Spider-Man said.
"Okay. So no MK11, no Madden. Let's try something more.... stress free." He said before changing to the Switch to play Mario Kart.
1 game later, he placed higher than Wolverine and the Switch pro controller Peter used was broken too.
"Come on! This is a game that's pretty much impossible to rage on!" Spider-Man said, giving up.
"You want to see rage? I'll show you rage." Wolverine said, picking up the entire TV and throwing it out the window.
"Wolverine! What in-" Gambit said, walking in.
"Cool your jets gumbo. Rich boy can pay for it when he gets back." Wolverine said nonchalantly.
"I'm starting to regret doing this." Spider-Man said.
Northwest Mansion
"Pacifica, how were you able to bring those people here? I mean come on. The Avengers? Here in Gravity Falls." Dipper asked.
"Well, there was this ghost that showed up while I was in Greasy's Diner. He asked for food, I gave it to him. Then he talked about his backstory about what my family did to him. Then, he told me that he would bring people to the party that would give me real friends." Pacifica said.
"So another ghost showed up, you did something that no other Northwest did and he helped you bring all these people here?" Dipper said, looking off in the distance at the various people. Somewhere in the distance he thought he heard laughing. Like distinct laughter from three different girls. Which he did. It was from Tron Bonne, Karin Kanzuki and Lili Rochefort.
"Sounds like a plausible Northwest story to me." Dipper said, accepting it. "What I want to know is how exactly he was able to do it."
"Well, why not just ask?" Pacifica said. "Um, Thomas?" She said. She wasn't an expert on the supernatural, so what she was doing was complete guess.
"Oh, hi Pacifica! Is there something you needed?" Thomas said.
"Dipper wants to know how exactly you were able to bring everyone here. Is there any way for you to be able to get Dipper and the others here to see you so could explain?' Pacifica asked.
"Sure thing!" He said.
"Wait, you can see him now?" Pacifica asked.
"Yeah." Dipper said.
"Mm-hmm." Mabel said at the same time as Dipper's response.
"Wait, couldn't you have done that while we were at the diner?" Pacifica asked.
"Yes and no. I wouldn't have been able to do it before the curse I had was lifted. And also after that, yes I could have done so. But you never asked." He said, shrugging.
"Anyways, using my otherwordly, paranormal abilities, I was able to find people from all walks of life that fit what you were looking for Pacifica. All having some sort of prestige with their name. Whether it be through wealth, like Daphne or Sam. Family name or status like Princess Peach, Princess Bubblegum or Amity Blight." He said, gesturing towards the first two as they were drinking tea with Princess Bubblegum passionately talking to her about something involving the problems she has as princess of Candy Kingdom.
"I don't want to be a damsel in distress every time because of the Ice King. Can't he just take a hint?" Princess Bubblegum said.
"Mm-hmm." Princess Peach said, understanding exactly how she feels with Bowser.
"Businessmen and women, such as Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, and Ken Masters."
"Looks like my favorite bat is here." Selina Kyle said to Bruce after finding him.
"Should I be surprised?" Bruce asked.
Ken was talking to Karin about her training. "Business talk aside, how's your training been? I trust you're not gettin' sloppy." Ken asked.
"Great as always. Even though I run a business, there will always be time to train. I must keep up with Sakura. The same way you must keep up with Ryu." Karin said, sure that she was probably training right now, whether by herself or with Ryu.
"Or even those that are talented in certain areas. Like the featherweight champion Ippo, or owner of KaibaCorp and talented duelist, Seto Kaiba."
"Well, hello there Kaiba-boy." Maximillion Pegasus said.
"Hey, yourself." Kaiba said.
"I can see that parties aren't really your thing." Pegasus said, drinking juice.
"Yugi isn't here. There are no tournaments taking place and no cards of interest here. And I'm in the mansion of someone that's very influential, with some of the most influential and well-known people in the world. And I don't look the slightest bit enthused. What does that tell you?" Kaiba said, before walking away, hands in his pockets. He glanced and saw Duke Devlin walk past him. But he didn't give him a second look.
"I'd say that you're a party pooper." He said, before taking a peppermint and eating it. "Or.... you're only here to promote your company." Pegasus thought.
"Of course, I gave them the choice of whether to attend. And... the ones that weren't busy accepted!" Thomas said. "And... once it was time for the party, they were brought here." He finished.
"Thanks. For once, I actually feel like I'm having a good time at these parties." Pacifica said.
"You're welcome! Oh, and as for some of the others that may not exactly check any of those 'influential' checkboxes, I just invited them because I thought it would be fun to. Or, unknowingly to them, at the request of some of the guests. You'll see what I mean by that last part soon enough. Later!" He said, disappearing. He wouldn't be leaving to be free until the party was over.
"You don't find that a little... unsettling?" Nathan Drake asked to a man next to him with blonde hair, referring to the three girls laughing with each other once again at something Tron said.
"Nah. I just ignore it." He said before heating up the marshmallow he had in his hand with his hand. It was none other than Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four.
Pacifica heard the door ring again and saw three girls.
"Hiii! Is Weiss here?" One of the girls asked, wearing a black long-sleeved blouse with a matching skirt and a rose on her buckle. It was Ruby Rose, leader of team RWBY along with Blake and Yang.
"Uh, yeah. She is." Pacifica said. "You must be friends of-"
"There she is!" Ruby said before yelling. "AAHHH!" She said all the way up until she and the others got to her.
"-hers." Pacifica finished.
Weiss didn't even know what hit her.
"You guys!" Weiss said as she was a little embarrassed getting tackled in front of people by her teammates. Those people in particular being Elsa and Anna.
"Sweet potato!" Luz said, running in to pick up Amity in a hug and spin her around.
"Luz! How did you get here?"
"Well, there was this ghost that asked if we wanted to go. And we just couldn't say no." Luz explained as Willow, Hunter, and Gus joined them.
"I fully support your choice to eat healthier substitutes. The body is the most important thing that a person has along with their soul." T'Challa said to Sam.
"Finally! Someone that understands!" Sam said.
"Yes. As for Banner's other half, I can see why he isn't much of an avid supporter. As the Hulk, his body is like a living reactor, constantly needing fuel. Your vegetable substitutes, while great for most, isn't exactly a match for him." T'Challa said, turning to him.
"Down the hatch we go." Adrien Agreste said, about to eat some pizza. After eating the first piece, he looks for the box, but it was gone. He looked and saw that Hulk had it, putting all the remaining pieces he had in his mouth and was walking away with it.
"Aww." He said.
"Still not enough." Hulk said. He then saw a man wearing a suit and a bowtie and a woman wearing a black blouse with dress pants. They were talking to a lanky teenager with brown hair and his dog that could talk. Or better known as Shaggy and Scooby.
"Absolutely! Like we've seen your restaurant online!" Shaggy said.
"Rahahouille!" Scooby said. "Rhelicious!"
"Yeah! Your ratatouille looked awesome! If only we were able to go to France!" Shaggy said, laughing afterwards. "And I mean just for fun. Not for solving mysteries for once. It's like almost everywhere we go it's a mystery. Like how many monsters, ghosts and ghouls are there in the world for that to happen?"
"Hey! You!" Hulk called out to them.
"Hoho! Like don't look now old buddy! It's the Hulk!" Shaggy said.
"Rhease ron't rhmash rus!" Scooby said, a little scared.
"Like yeah! When we said monsters, we weren't talking about you!" Shaggy said, scared.
"Not you! Those two!"
"You're... talking to me?" He said, a little surprised and scared as well. It was the famous Alfredo Linguini and Collette Tatou.
"I heard these two saying you owned a restaurant. Is that right?" Hulk asked.
"Ye-yes! We do!" Linguini said.
"Hmm. Can one of you cook me something?" Hulk asked.
"Can we cook? Of course we can cook!" Collette said.
"Collette." Linguini whispered to her, trying to get her attention.
"What?"
"Could you just, uh." Linguini said and realized Hulk was still looking at them.
"Could I what?" Collette asked.
"Uh..." He started again. He saw Hulk raise an eyebrow at them.
"What is it? Spit it out!"
"Excuse use for one second." Linguini said before taking Collette away.
"So, Mr. Hulk. Nice weather we're having huh?" Shaggy said, unsure of what else to say.
"Could you watch where you're going?" A duck said, Alfredo almost running into him. Scrooge McDuck to be specific.
"Sorry!" Linguini said.
"What are you doing? We have someone that has asked us for a meal to be prepared!" Collette said.
"One: Don't you remember? I have no idea how to cook! Two: Could you please-" Linguini started.
" 'Could you please' nothing! You think that just because Remy isn't here you can't cook? What happened to 'anyone can cook'? You remember that, do you not?" Collette said.
"Well, yeah but-"
"Then you at least can at least somewhat cook! All it takes is practice! I will show you when we return home!"
"Collette! Just listen!" That outburst got Collette's attention.
"I was trying to tell you to calm down a little when talking to him." Linguini said.
"And why would I do that?" Collette asked.
"He's- you know, the Hulk!"
"So? What is your point?" Collette asked.
"He can flatten us like a pancake! He can turn us into a croissant!"
"He is a customer! He is no different than anyone else when we are in a restaurant! Have I done anything to offend him?"
"Well, no you-"
"Then there is no problem here! I will treat him with respect like every other customer, just like he has treated us respect! So what if he is the Hulk? We will prepare a meal in a timely fashion, how he wants it, like everyone else! Now we will not talk about this any further! Do I make myself clear?"
"Crystal." Linguini said, unsure if he should be more afraid of her or the Hulk.
"Good. Now come on, we have kept him waiting long enough!" Collette said.
"My apologies. Now, what would you like to be prepared?" Collette asked.
"Hmm...." Hulk said, thinking. "Give me something that's filling. And give me multiple servings of it!" He decided.
"Like we'll have what he's having!" Shaggy said.
"Rhea! Rhee roo!" Scooby said.
Collette nodded. "Very well. We shall have your food ready as soon as possible."
Collette went over to Pacifica who was talking with Kimiko, Candy and Grenda.
"Excuse me Ms. Northwest, but where is your kitchen located?" Collette asked.
"It's right over there." Pacifica responded. "Is there something you'd like cooked from one of the chefs?"
"I will take care of the meals. Thank you." Collette said.
"No... way." Clover said, noticing the teenager with slicked-back blonde hair.
Clover grabs Alex, who was chatting with Ippo about his matches, and Sam, who was talking to an English explorer. Otherwise known as Lara Croft. "Sorry!"
Lara Croft blinked and opened her mouth a little but wasn't going to question it.
"Clover, I was in the middle of getting some wisdom from someone. You know, for our future missions." Sam said, annoyed. Mabel was talking to her now, showing her the grappling hook she had too.
"And I was getting close to a breakthrough. I could feel the connection. And you ruined it!" Alex said as she noticed a red-haired girl, who was Mary Jane Watson, approaching Ippo.
"I'll make it up to you two, I promise! But just take a look!" Clover said. They saw who she was referring to, talking to a boy with brown hair. He had on a red dress shirt with black dress pants.
"Yeah, this party's sick." The boy said to Adrien. He was none other than Dan Kuso, the number one ranked Battle Brawler in the world. Something that has been cemented for two years as all Bakugan disappeared in the final battle against Naga.
"If only there were loin tips." Dan added.
"It's him!" Alex said as the three girls squealed and went up to Adrien, which caught Dan off guard.
"So much for having a cool conversation!" Dan said, yelling out loud intentionally.
"Hi! To all three of you! I don't believe we've met." Adrien said.
"I'm Clover. And this is Sam and Alex." Clover said, with Sam and Alex waving.
"We absolutely love your products!" Sam said.
"The Gabriel brand? Thanks." He said.
"We have the perfumes!" Clover said.
"I even have your soccer ball!" Alex said.
"So, Gabriel. We know you have your brand. But... tell us about you. Outside of the brand. What do you like to do?" Sam asked.
Dan gives up and waved the girls off. "Sheesh. Those three remind me of Julie and Runo. Girls. Who needs 'em?" He said, hands behind his head with his eyes closed.
"What was that Dan?" Runo said, standing right in front of him.
"You heard me right. I said those three act like you and Julie!" Dan said, not backing down.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Come on! Look at 'em! They're fangirling over the guy because of some stupid perfume. Don't get me wrong he seems like a cool guy from what I've talked to him about, but man."
"Ughhhh. You can be so insensitive sometimes Dan! You just wouldn't understand." Runo said.
"I'm not sure if I really want to to be honest." Dan said.
"See!?" Runo said.
"Did Shun and the others come with you? I already saw Marucho." Dan asked, deciding to change the subject and completely ignoring her last statement
Runo's frustration was dispelled after hearing Dan's question. "I don't think so." She said.
"Where's Marucho anyway?" Runo asked.
"Last I checked, he was talking to some kid with blonde hair. Richie I think his name was." Dan said.
"I'm gonna go look for the others." Dan added. Runo nodded.
Mary Jane laughed a little at his shyness. "Mary Jane. But my friends call me MJ. Don't worry, I'm not here to take you from Alex." She said, having already met her earlier.
"The truth is... I'm actually interested in someone else." Ippo said, referring to Kumi Mashiba. "I'd be happy that Alex and I would have a relationship as good friends." He said, smiling.
MJ wasn't going to attempt to dig deeper into it. However, she could infer that whoever it was was someone that wasn't at the party. "I see. I've never really been interested in boxing. How is it?"
"It's a lot of hard work. But it's still fun! I know some people like to box for the money or fame. I chose to box so I could find the answer to my question of what it means to be strong." Ippo said.
"So what do you do with all the money if that isn't why you became a boxer?" MJ asked.
"It give a lot of it to my mom. My mom and I have a Fishing Boat business. And the rest that isn't saved for myself, I use to celebrate with my friends." Ippo said.
"That's sweet." MJ said.
"My mom has done so much. It's only fair that I return the favor as much as I can." Ippo said.
"You guys look so much alike! Is this your long-lost twin? Maybe it's the alternate universe version of you! What semblance do you have? Or if you don't have a semblance, what cool stuff can you do?" A girl with orange hair with a white skirt and a pink dress said, going back and forth between the two very fast. The two people she was referring to being Lie Ren and Shun Kazami, the former being her teammate on Team JNPR at Beacon Academy.
Ren and Shun stood with blank faces, unsure how to react.
"Dan, Runo! I think I found him!" Marucho said.
"While I'm not ruling that out, I seriously doubt it." Pyrrha said, referring to Nora's alternate universe self theory.
"Sorry about that. She can be.... very enthusiastic." Jaune said.
"Nora!" Ruby said, running towards Nora.
"Ruby!"
"Nora!"
"Ruby!" They exchanged until they finally embraced in a hug.
"So you guys saw that ghost too?" Ruby asked.
"Yes!"
"Jaune. Pyrrha. Sup guys." Yang said, going over to them, with Weiss and Blake not too far behind.
"Hello!" Pyrrha said.
"Now we can all go crazy together!" Ruby said.
"No thanks. As big as a party this is. Some semblance of order needs to be kept." Weiss said.
"Nice pun." Ruby said.
She didn't even realize what she had said for Ruby to say that at first, but she was able to catch on. "Oh! Well, I guess it was pretty nice." Weiss said, now looking boastful.
50 minutes later
"I'm all for being a rebel as long as its not hurting anyone. Keep being you." Wendy said to Sam and Amity, giving a thumbs up. Sam and Amity told Wendy about themselves beforehand.
"Hey, you guys smell that?" Clint said.
"Rhea! Romerhing rhinks!" Scooby said.
"Like it kinda smells like something's-" Shaggy started.
"Burning!" Linguini said in a panic.
"I thought you said anyone can cook!" Ruby said, a chef's hat on.
"When I said anyone can cook, this is not what I meant!" Linguini said.
"Well what did you mean!?" Mabel said.
"I mean like a great cook can come from anywhere! No one can just say they can cook! It's something my dad said. I can't even cook!" He said, frantically trying to dispose of the burnt food before things get worse.
"Are you serious!?" Ruby asked.
"Yes! A literal rat has been controlling me to cook. I never knew how to do any of that stuff!" Linguini said.
"Ewwwww!" Ruby and Mabel said.
"He washes his hands thoroughly, I promise! Though the restaurant had to be closed down so we could create our own because of the rat stuff." Linguini said.
"Enough fooling around! Get rid of that food now! We have wasted enough time already!" Colette said.
"Ruby! Mabel! Once you are done I want you two to come with me!" She added.
"Uh oh." Linguini said, as a fire developed.
Ruby ran to get the fire extinguisher but slipped and fell, causing it to spray everywhere.
"Well.... look on the bright side. The fire's out." Mabel said. With Ruby smiling and nodding as well in agreement.
"Alright, who burned the food?" Hulk asked.
Linguini, Ruby, and Mabel all had an innocent smile on their faces. Linguini still had a skillet with burnt food on it but he hurried and put it down and kicked it away, trying to keep the innocent face.
"My apologies. I can assure you that this will not happen again." Colette said.
"You three! Over here! Now!" Colette said, trying to contain the anger in her voice.
"Help!" Ruby and Mabel whispered to Weiss and Dipper respectively.
Hulk sighs and walks away.
"Phew. For a second there I thought he was gonna-" Dan started before Hulk picked up a table, opened the door, and sent it flying out.
"MY ROOT BEER!" Thor said.
Thor goes outside, closes his eyes and opens his hand, calling Mjolnir. Lightning strikes as he holds it, and he's now wearing his usual clothing. He then flies off.
After several seconds of silence, Nora was the first person to break it. "Guys, did you see that? He has a hammer just like me! So cool! What if he's like... the super cool, alternate universe, super handsome version of me? Eh? Ehhhhh?" She said.
"Nope." Yang said.
"Don't see it." Blake said.
"Sorry." Jaune said.
"To be fair, the similarities are there." Ren said.
"Thank you Ren! I'm glad someone has faith in what I have to say!" Nora said.
"But, there's no evidence to clearly prove or disprove that." Ren added.
Nora collapsed on the ground.
Dan, the members of team RWBY save for Ruby, team JNPR, Clint, T'Challa, and Luz all head back inside.
Nora gets up and joins them not long after they go inside.
Kitchen
"It is time that I show you how it is done! Now I will admit that I have learned some things from Remy, the rat. But that does not make me any less of a cook!" She said, quickly taking out ingredients.
"You two shall learn that cooking is no game! That cooking in a restaurant is not like cooking at home! You two like cookies? Deserts? Do you like cooking them at home?" Colette asked.
Mabel and Ruby shook their heads, their sweet tooths aching for sweets after hearing this.
"Well guess what? Cooking in a restaurant is not as casual as cooking at home for some cookies!" Colette said, slamming down a pan.
"You have more than yourself to worry about! The orders! The ingredients! The food! Even the potential of accidents, mistakes and/or incompetence of other chefs sharing the space with you!" She said.
"Do you know what I find interesting?" Colette started. "The fact that there are many men that have claimed that women belong in the kitchen. In fact, there are those that still say so." She said, getting more ingredients.
"But, these same stupid old men will deny you from making a career. A name for yourself off of what they said to do! I was the only woman at Gusteau's restaurant before it closed down, Linguini can tell you." She said as the water from the pot she had on the stove started to boil.
"Yep." Linguini said, sweeping some of the pieces of burnt food from the floor.
"Now, I am a sous-chef at La Ratatouille." She said, going to fast for Ruby or Mabel to keep up with.
"And do you know what those old men have said about it? Nothing!" She said, putting the ingredients in the pot and putting the knives she used where Ruby and Mabel were, which scared them a little as she walked towards them with the knives. They quickly got out of the way when she was coming towards them with the knives.
"Now! You two! Each of you will get separate stations! Sometimes you will need to work together! Sometimes you will not! But, you must keep your stations clear and follow my instructions or I will kill you!" She said, giving Mabel a spoon and Ruby a bowl, which she fumbled with for a bit. "Or the Hulk will. Whichever comes first." She said calmly.
"She isn't actually going to kill us will she?" Ruby whispered to Linguini.
"No! Of course not! She said the same thing to me! I think she was joking then?" Linguini said, unsure himself.
"Ruby! Get to your station now! This is no time to be fooling around!" Colette said, moving quickly.
"Lesson 1 of the kitchen, you must be-" Colette started to sing.
*Record Stop*
Colette and everyone else seemed to be frozen in time.
A man in red and black appeared, and it was none other than Deadpool! "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on a second there partner! I don't remember her singing a song in the movie!" He said, pointing. "Now author you better-"
He gets a phone call. "One second. Yello?"
Some talking is heard on one side of it.
"What? Artistic choice and creativity? Don't you give me that malarkey! Everything was going great! I mean we had the interactions every one of us wanted to see along with some pretty cool ones we didn't expect. I mean come on, who didn't want to see Ruby Rose and Mabel on the screen at the same time! And more Owl House content till season 3 comes out! Love ya Dana!" Deadpool said. "But as for you Disney. STOP CANCELLING SHOWS WE LOVE!" He said, shaking the fourth wall. "And I saw the censorship you did with Gravity Falls. Shame on you. Shame on you!" He said, pointing again. "Anyways, as I was sayin'. He's raking in the views, I mean this story is rolling! But he had to put in singing. WHY? WHY!?"
More talking was heard on the other side of his phone.
"What do you mean I'm not a tag in this story?!"
Talking was heard on the phone again.
"Dan isn't a tag in this story! Shun isn't a tag in this story! Spidey isn't a tag! Team JNPR isn't a tag! YOU aren't a tag!" Deadpool said to the person on the phone.
More talking was heard explaining why those characters couldn't be tags on each website.
"Oh, make it stop! Make it stop!" Deadpool said. "Oh wait, I can!" He said, hanging up.
"So have you changed your mind on that song yet?" Deadpool asked the author.
"Nope!" StaticShock01 said.
"No!? What do you mean no? Oh, you monster! Hold on a second." He said, leaving. After 15 or so minutes he returns.
Deadpool pulls out a green infinity stone. "Ya see this here? This is an infinity stone. The time stone to be exact. Where'd I get it? From that Marvel VS Capcom game. You know, the one after 3 that didn't have me in it. Or the X-men? And by golly that ugly Chun-Li face? It did have X and Black Panther in it! That was cool! But I'm sure that game won't miss it." He said, throwing out the Xbox One game case.
"Now, I'm gonna use this beautiful thing to fast forward through that awful song. Ha! Screw you author!" Deadpool said. Using the time stone he was able to skip to an hour into the future.
"Now let's take a look at Avengers Mansion first, the place I totally wasn't supposed to be keeping watch of with Gambit, Jubilee, Wolverine, and Spidey."
"Football's deflated, and so is the basketball. And it looks like there's claw marks on the stove. Sheesh Wolvie, ya wake up on the wrong side of the bed?"
"All you had to do was wait! Ain't Gambit fault that you not patient!" Gambit said to Wolverine as they were all eating.
"Whatever." Wolverine said.
"And now, back to our regularly scheduled program." Deadpool said, returning things back to the Northwest Mansion.
Northwest Mansion
"Hulk. Shaggy Rogers. Scooby. Your food has arrived." Colette said.
"Enjoy!" Linguini said, serving them their food. And Ruby and Mabel were right behind him to give more plates.
"We decided to do a little bit of everything." Colette commented when an assorted array of dishes were brought to them. From fillet mignon, to salmon, to seared beef with wild rice. To even spaghetti and pasta. And of course, the trademark Ratatouille.
"Like works for us!" Shaggy said.
"I know the big guy can eat all of it. But you two I'm not so sure." Clint said.
"Oh yeah. Like everyone in this party except for Daphne have yet to witness us feast." Shaggy said.
"Lets dine old pal."
"Wait!" A voice called out.
"I am just in time. I have arrived with more root beer." It was Thor! With bottles of root beer in his hands.
"Like we'll take some please!" Shaggy said.
"Okay Scoob! It's time to dig in! I'm saving the Ratatouille as the best for last!" Shaggy said.
"Re roo!" Scooby said.
"There is no way you can eat food as plentiful as that." Mac said to Scooby.
"Ratch re!" Scooby said.
"Try and keep up." Hulk said, starting to eat.
"Maybe we should say the same to you." Shaggy said as he and Scooby started to eat.
Shaggy, Scooby and Hulk were evenly matched for several of the meals.
As the plates started to pile up, Pacifica, Dipper and the rest of the guests looked on in awe. Preston and Priscilla looked on in a mixture of shock and disgust. Nora, Thor, and Yang however, were drinking root beer. Alex had begun to record it on her phone, still in awe.
"Wow. Just. Wow." Blake said.
"So who do you think's going to win?" Thor asked.
"My bet's on Shaggy and Scooby." Nora said.
"I've got the big guy." Yang said.
"I'm not sure if there has been a time that Hulk has lost when it comes to eating. Today shall not be that day." Thor said, drinking more root beer.
In the end, it was a tie. Up until the last dish. Ratatouille. Banner reverted back to his normal self.
"So does he give up?" Shaggy said, belly out from all the food he's eaten.
"Nope. He asked me to take over for something like this. Wanted to really savor it." Banner said.
"Good point!" Shaggy said.
"So wait... after all that eating.... you three are just going to just casually eat the Ratatouille?" Jaune asked in confusion.
"Like why not? It is their best dish after all. And on the plates of culinary eaters like us, it deserves the utmost of respect. Though we respect all foods equally in most cases." Shaggy said.
Scooby nodded.
"Fair enough.... I guess." Jaune said, still confused.
Shaggy, Scooby and Banner all take their time in eating and savoring the Ratatouille.
"So? How was it?" Ruby asked.
"Like absolute ten out of ten!" Shaggy said, smiling, along with Scooby.
"It's like I'm at peace with myself. That and my other half." Banner said, grinning.
Pacifica and several others wanted to give it a try.
When Pacifica ate it, she was reminded of the few but still meaningful times she's hung out with Dipper and Mabel. For Luz, it was her time with her mother, Eda, and Amity. Kaiba, his brother Mokuba. For Weiss, it was the time she spent with her team RWBY along with team JNPR, and the list went on for everyone that ate the dish.
While everyone paid individually for their food, Kaiba, Tony and Bruce all left generous tips for Colette and Linguini.
30 Minutes Later
Yang and Takamura were about to arm wrestle.
"SO YA THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME ON KID!? WELL THEN, LET'S GET IT ON!" Takamura boomed.
"TAKE YOU ON?! I'M TAKING YOU DOWN!" Yang boomed back.
"I LIKE YOUR SPIRIT KID! PUT EM UP!" Takamura said, his right arm already on the table.
The contest began! With Ippo, Team RWBY, and JNPR watching.
Yang's arm was going down.
"Come on! You can do better than that!" Takamura said.
"Yeah. I certainly can!" She said, overturning it and getting it back in the middle.
"Go sis!" Ruby said.
"GRRAAH! I'VE WRESTLED BEARS AND TAKEN DOWN SEVERAL BOXERS IN THE RING! YOU'RE NOT BEATIN' ME KID!" He said, putting more strength into his arm, his eyes lit with determination.
"I WON'T LOSE!" Yang said, eyes now red.
The table broke. As Yang's hand was over Takamura.
"Oh man. I lost." Takamura said in shame while he was on the ground.
"Ha ha! I did it!" Yang said, jumping for joy along with Ruby.
"Yang! Yang! Yang! Yang!" Ruby chanted.
"Hey uh, don't tell the guys about this at the gym will ya?" Takamura asked Ippo.
"Man, you've got some crazy strength kid. I could sense the fire in your eyes. Maybe Chief Kamogawa would we willing to take you in one day to box for him." Takamura said, now standing, offering his hand in respect. Yang took it and they shook.
Blake and Kaiba were off to themselves reading.
Blake got up and saw Kaiba.
"If you don't mind, may I ask what book you're reading?" Blake asked.
Kaiba hands her the book. "If you must know."
Blake read the title. It was titled Also sprach Zarathustra.
"What's it about?" Blake said, interested.
Kaiba saw the book Blake was reading. It was titled The Man With Two Souls. It reminded him of the Pharoah and Yugi.
"If you want to find out. Read it for yourself." Kaiba said.
"Trade?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah, sure!" Blake said. The two opened up the other's book and started reading.
Sam was back to talking with Lara Croft about her journeys.
Dipper and Nate exchanged journals. After Nate convinced him that he could be trusted as he told him that he wasn't exactly open to sharing his journal with everyone either.
Tron and Bling Bling Boy were talking about the mischief that they've caused.
Pacifica, Willow, Runo, Julie, Pyrrha, Weiss, Ruby, Mabel, Daphne, Lola Bunny, Candy, Grenda, Barbie, Alex, Clover, Liz, Nora, Anna, Elsa, Princess Peach and Princess Bubblegum were all sitting together. While some were getting their nails painted, another was talking, while the rest listened. This was something that Ruby had thought of and had always wanted to do with friends.
"So.... now to more important matters. Romance!" Mabel said. "Tell us who you're interested in, if anyone, what you like about him and how much progress you've made." She said. "So who wants to go first?" Silence.
"Do I have to go eenie meenie miney mo?" Mabel said.
"Okay! I'll go first! I'm Runo. And I have a crush on Dan. As annoying and inappropriate as he is at times, he's determined, level-headed, and he's got a fiery passion. We've already gone out once." Runo said, looking over as Dan was talking with Adrien again.
Nods, murmurs and words of approval were made for Runo.
"I'll go next." Daphne said. "I'm Daphne. I have a huge crush on Fred. He's not at the party, but he's the leader of a group that he, Shaggy, Scooby and Velma are in, Mystery Inc. We're mystery solvers. I just love his determination, his strength and his bravery. Yeah he gets scared sometimes, but we all do. But I don't know if he feels the same way. Sometimes I feel like he cares more about the Mystery Machine and traps than me or the others." Daphne said.
"Cool! You're mystery solvers like us! Dipper and I are the Mystery Twins!" Mabel said.
"I know it's easier said than done, but sometimes the best thing to do is just ask him. Open up, and see how he feels." Weiss said.
"Yeah." Pyrrha muttered before glancing at Jaune talking with Hunter.
"I've never taken on a student before. I don't know." Hunter said, unsure.
"Then don't think of me as a student. Think of me as a sparring partner. Give me pointers during and after the battle." Jaune said.
Hunter nodded. They both headed outside.
As Lola Bunny was talking, Willow and Pyrrha caught Hunter and Jaune leaving out. Willow because she had a direct line of sight of where Hunter and Jaune were. And Pyrrha out of the corner of her eye.
"Excuse me." Willow and Pyrrha said at the same time, which caught each other off guard for a bit.
They both peeked their heads out the door to see Jaune and Willow.
"You have to keep your defenses and your stance up!" Hunter said, using his speed to hit him on all sides.
"Don't let your opponent see any type of weakness they can exploit!" Hunter said.
Jaune steadies his stance and it allows him to block some of Hunter's attacks and strike back. When he realizes what Hunter is doing, he counters and punishes.
"Good! But I'm not done yet!" Hunter said.
Jaune attempts to get on the offensive, attempting to strike Hunter. Some of them are blocked. Others don't connect at all.
"Your swings are too wild!" Hunter said.
Hunter swings his staff, knocking Jaune back. "You have to have discipline in both your attack and defense! Both are equally important in battle! Don't expect your opponent to show you mercy! They will exploit any and every weakness to destroy you!"
Jaune, more determined sets his feet. Hunter comes at him from several directions again, using his speed to try and confuse him and cause him to make a mistake. He teleported three times before striking on the fourth, to which Jaune responded with a roll and then stood up to attack back, but missed. Hunter teleported twice now before attacking on the the second. Roll and miss. Four teleports. Roll and miss. Two again. But this time he almost connected. Jaune realized that there was a difference in the time between teleports when he intended to attack. So he used that to his advantage to adapt and strike back. Hunter tried teleporting again and striking him with a magical energy blast before Jaune blocked it and Jaune's shield and Palisman clashed. Jaune attempted to strike him with his shield by bumping him. But Hunter backed off and flipped back. Jaune, unfazed, returned to his stance. It was a battle between sword and Palisman staff. Strikes were blocked or skillfully dodged. Hunter backflipped after a lunge from Jaune with his sword and disappeared.
Jaune's eyes searched for where he was going to appear. And he appeared on the side of him. He readied his shield as he saw the palisman emanate with energy. But what he didn't expect was an attack from below via the Earth.
"Impressive. But you have to be able to anticipate attacks from every direction. Even from the ground itself." Hunter said.
Willow and Pyrrha smiled. Jaune looked over.
"What is it?" Hunter asked.
"I thought I saw Pyrrha and Willow." Jaune said.
Hunter looked over and blinked. He saw nothing. He looked back at Jaune.
"Must have been seeing things. Sorry." Jaune said.
"That's some impressive combat for young men." A voice said. They turned and saw that the voice was coming from Captain America.
"I've always known that the best offense is the best defense. That's what this shield represents to me in combat." Cap said, shield now in hand. taking it from his back. "And that's what I've had as weapons for years. My shield, my fists and legs, and my mind. Sometimes, even when you're overmatched in the power or size department you can still win by fighting smarter." Captain America said. "If you're up for it, I can show you two what I mean." He offered.
"I'm ready when you are Captain." Jaune said.
"From what I've heard today about you Captain. It would be an honor." Hunter said.
"Okay then. Jaune, you're up first. Show me what you can do." Cap said.
90 minutes Later
The party was over. "Goodbye! Thanks for coming!" Pacifica said.
She gave Weiss and the rest of team RWBY a hug along with Amity, Runo, Candy, Grenda and Mabel.
"I'll miss you! I'm so sorry we have to leave!" Weiss said, wiping a tear away.
"Yeah. That doesn't mean it's goodbye forever. I'm sure we'll see each other again." Pacifica said, a tear in her eye as well.
"Don't say that. Now you're bringing in the chance that we might not!" Weiss said, crying.
"Boop!" Nora and Mabel to each other simultaneously as they tapped each other on the noses.
She said goodbye to the rest as well. She got Dipper's attention before he walked out.
"I know the journal didn't exactly help here, but thanks for trying." Pacifica said, a soft smile on her face. Dipper smiled back in return. They gave each other a hug.
"Thank you so much. I've made so many friends in this party. Real friends." Pacifica said to Thomas, who appeared.
"No, thank you, for providing me the opportunity to see these friendships. I and I'm sure so many others, will not forget what you've done Ms. Northwest and what you will do. For all the right reasons." Thomas said before going away.
"That was a Smashing House Party, wouldn't you say Pacifica?" Preston asked.
"Yes dad. Yes it was." Pacifica said smiling.
"Back to Beacon we go!!!" Ruby said, as they and several others were being covered in a flash of light. Some of the ones that weren't effected included the avengers and Bruce Wayne.
Deadpool appears again.
"Yep that's it! What you thought I was gone? WRONG! Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that after I'm done flapping my gums that there's a preview for this author's next crossover story. And some ending or epilogue or whatever. Or if ya don't feel like reading that and you want to get this over with, just close it once I'm done. It's that simple. Well, here's that ending I was talking about!" Deadpool said.
The Avengers returned to the mansion to see the TV thrown on the floor, glass broken, and the stove scratched up with controllers broken. Tony sighs. "Looks like the classic case of video game rage gone too far. And in the case of Logan, it really did some damage. Seems like he got impatient with food too."
"JARVIS, remind me to never put Wolverine and video games in the same room. Thanks."
"Yes sir."
Deadpool appeared again. "And that's it! If you're still waiting for something else it's not coming. So get out! Go read another story or something!"

Chapter Text
Deadpool appeared again. "What? You're still here? Why? Didn't I tell you the story was over last chapter?"
"Oh, right. You're here for that stupid preview thing. I just want you to know, this story is going to suck! Why? Because it doesn't have ME in it! But if you still want to read it, don't let me stop ya! Read the preview yourself!" Deadpool said, before leaving.
Please Note: This is an early concept of the story. While the major plot will stay the same overall, some characters and or franchises such as Final Fight may not appear in the final story
"Doctor Octopus. It is great to finally meet you in person." Baxter Stockman said.
"Likewise." Doc Ock said.
The story transitions to Karai in one of the Foot Clan outposts.
"What is Shadaloo? Tell me!" Karai said, interrogating the mole scientist.
"A group that I thought to be long disbanded. But it looks like my worst fears have been realized." A woman said, dropping down wearing a blue qipao. The Interpol officer Chun-Li.
The story transitions to a military base.
"If Shadaloo still stands, then he's back." A man said with a tall blonde flattop with a green tank top and camo pants. That man was known as Guile. "As long as they keep coming back, I'll keep coming back to destroy them again and again!" He said, embracing has fallen friend Charlie's Dogtags. "I won't let your death be for nothing."
The story transitions back to the Turtles' lair. "The attacks in the city around New York have been starting to increase. If we don't stop it, another war will break out for the city." Leonardo said.
Story transitions to Metro City.
"Purple Dragons? In my city?" Mike Haggar, mayor of Metro City said on the phone.
Lucia, Guy and Haggar are seen teaming up to clean up the streets of Metro City.
"In order for this to end, the source must be dealt with." Guy reasoned.
The story transitions to New York.
"Great. These guys again." Spider-Man said referring to the Purple Dragons.
"Don't you guys just get tired of being smacked around?" Mikey said.
The story changes to an unknown location.
"The power that he has is remarkable. Speed, strength, skill. I have seen them up close before. But I underestimated his power before because I didn't need it." A voice said from inside a canister-like chamber, referring to the times that they have met including the battle against Apocalypse and in their team-up against Abyss in their second meeting. Footage of the web-slinger in his battle against the Purple Dragons continued to play.
"Now, that power will be mine! Secure his body! By any means necessary! Let no one stand in your way!" The voice said.
"Yes, sir!" A woman said, saluting before walking out with a man wearing a mask and claws and two other women dressed similarly to her.
The story transitions back to New York at a later point.
"When we are finished here, the Purple Dragons, the Foot Clan and every other organization will no longer be relevant!" Baxter Stockman said in a booming voice.
"The turtles and Spider-Man shall be no more!" Doc Ock said in a booming voice as well.
"1,2,3,4! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"
"Spectacular Spider-Man!"
