Dean and Sam usually would steer clear of supernatural beings like vampires or werewolves but Stefan was one of the few good vampires over the years they had met and they had decided to invite him and his girlfriend Elena and they had met a lot of types of women, some of them were annoying for various reasons but Elena was taking the cake. Even though Dean and Sam tried to like her, it was obvious she was fangirling over them both, which annoyed them, since this wasn't the first time this had happened and they had met their share of vain and self-centered women but they were mostly ignoring her comments and being civil to Elena, if only for Stefan's and his girlfriend Caroline's sakes. Though, they didn't know that they weren't the only ones dealing with Elena's vanity, since their old mentor and a surrogate father figure was still around as a ghost, attached to his baseball cap the brothers had kept as a memento of Bobby.
"You met some good vampires, right?" Caroline asked.
"Some of them." Dean admitted as he looked at Caroline with a curious look.
"I'm sorry, why do you keep staring at me?" Caroline asked.
"You just remind me of my ex who I used to date in high school." Dean said.
"You must've met some pretty girls over the years too." Elena said, fascinated by both brothers.
"Yeah, we did, though it never lasted for long." Sam said as he and Dean ignored Elena's advances and while she was giving them a bit of an annoying vibe, they had met worse, but unknowingly to them, Bobby was still around, invisible and unheard to them, having to endure it.
"You stupid idjit." Bobby muttered.
"Do you guys hear that?" Elena wondered.
"Hear what?" Sam asked.
"I heard nothing." Dean said, puzzled, though he and Sam could feel something was... off. And it felt familiar.
"Honestly, didn't me and your old man teach you better than that? Sure, if there's a guarantee the vampire is good, invite them in but I'm seriously considering gouging my eyes out." Bobby grumbled.
Elena then approached the cap in a glass case, which interested her as she put it on.
"Hey, don't touch that! That's my favorite cap!"
Elena screamed as she turned around and saw what looked like a zombified face of a bearded man full of rage and it was unlike anything terrifying she had ever seen before as Elena blurred to the exit.
"What was that? Elena!" Caroline called.
"What was she so terrified of?" Stefan wondered.
"If there's anything I hate more than vampires, it's stupid vampires." Bobby said.
"Wait." Dean trailed off as he and Sam looked at each other. "Did you hear that?"
"Yeah." Sam said. It felt familiar and last time they felt that was when they had kept Bobby's flask before they approached the cap on the floor and it hit them. Looked like Bobby's spirit was attached to another one of his favorite possessions.
"OK, I get it now. Stupid girl shouldn't touch Bobby's things." Dean said as he and Sam shook their heads and rolled their eyes and they, Stefan and Caroline chuckled.
