Summary:

Serena Snape was all dressed up for her date with some Pureblood jerk who didn't deserve her, those long legs of hers on full display for anyone to see. Lily wanted nothing more than for those long, long legs to wrap around her head.

Work Text:

Narcissa circled Serena Snape like an artist judging her masterpiece. Or a leopard about to devour a tiny, baby gazelle.

“Well,” she said, putting her hands on her hips. “I think that’s as good as it’s going to get.”

“Oh, thank you very much. I know it must have been a trial for you,” Serena snipped at her.

“It’s the nose, really. It just... it just really sticks out there, doesn’t it? But you have beautiful eyes. Yes, I did good work with your eyes.” She nodded approvingly. “And those legs! Who knew you were hiding those under your robe? That wasn’t me, that was all nature!” She slapped Serena’s bare thigh to emphasize her point, eliciting a yelp from the younger girl.

Serena stood looking at herself in the mirror. Her hair had been stripped of any oils, her face powdered and rouged, lips painted, and dressed up in borrowed clothes.

She felt like a trussed-up pig about to be sold at a country fair.

Lucius had lamented on and on about her Muggle father. “If it wasn’t for him dirtying your blood, we’d be able to secure you a much better match,” he said with a sigh. “But the Zabini family is a good one, even if they aren’t one of the Sacred 28. It's just a shame Germaine is fourth in line. He won’t expect to inherit much.”

This was what Serena wanted. She wanted to be accepted into the Wizarding World’s elite. She wanted to reclaim her mother’s status as the last scion of the Prince family. And that meant marriage. It didn’t matter how smart a Pureblood girl was, or how talented, or how powerful. What was the point in all of that if she didn’t marry and have children?

So off she was sent, to be courted by Germaine Zabini, arranged and approved of by Lucius Malfoy.

They had arrived at Hogsmeade separately. Germaine was a seventh year, a year above Serena, and in Ravenclaw, which put them in different carriages. They had agreed to meet at Madame Puddifoot’s, though Serena was starting to have serious doubts when she entered and saw massive amounts of pink bows decorating every square inch of the place. She was led to a table and she absently looked through the menu while she waited for her date to arrive.

It didn’t take her long before she felt her skin prickle, making the hair on the back of her neck stand up. Someone was watching her. Serena looked around, doing a double-take when she saw Lily glaring daggers at her two tables across from her.

Things between the two girls were... strained. They were cordial, but it had become increasingly obvious to Serena that they were heading in different directions. Why cling to a friendship that wouldn’t last? No matter how much she lo— liked Lily, it was better to just rip the bandage off now than to let the wound fester until they could no longer stand the sight of each other. At least then they would be able to walk away with fond memories, something they could look back on in old age.

Lily was seated across from – ugh – Potter, who was regaling her with some outlandish tale or another and completely unaware that his audience had lost all interest. But that was Potter. Honestly, he should just ask out his own reflection, it was his only love. Lily shifted her gaze toward the restroom, and when Serena only lifted a single brow at this, Lily practically jerked her head with a growl. Then she whipped her head around to smile blindingly at Potter. “Excuse me, just a moment, I have to visit the ladies’ room.”

Serena had only just reached it herself when she felt Lily grasp her by the arm and sweep her inside, locking the door with a quick spell behind her. The red-haired witch then whirled around to face her, arms crossed, and demanded, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

“What? What did I do now?” Serena asked, confused and growing increasingly angry.

“Look at you! You’re meeting someone here, aren’t you!?”

“So? I’ve got a date! I know that it must be shocking for you, that the ‘ugly one’ met a boy.” It used to be humiliating, going out with Lily. Boys would always fawn over her, asking her to join them in whatever they were doing, and only giving Serena a backhanded, “Oh, and your friend can come too, I guess.”

Lily was turning an alarming shade of red. “You-- you should be studying for your N.E.W.T.s!”

“That’s a year away! And if I should be studying, then you should be too! Or did you forget you came here with Potter?”

“It’s different!” Lily insisted.

“How? How is it different?”

“Because I’m not a genius!” She exploded. Serena reeled back in shock as she watched Lily pace back and forth in the tiny bathroom. “I have never met anyone as smart as you! God, Ren, it makes me so angry to see you suck up to those Purebloods when they know you have twice as much brains and power as any of them! And now they’ve got you dressed up as the perfect Pureblood wife, ready to pump out a dozen Pureblood babies, when you are so much better than that!”

“Lil,” Serena breathed, shocked by this sudden outpouring of words.

Lily shook her head, and to Serena’s horror she could see tears springing up in her green eyes. “Don’t. I know. You want to be one of them, and you’ll do anything to get it even if it means marrying a man you don’t love.” She looked up at her, her eyes glassy. “You don’t love him, right? Tell me you don’t love him. Give me at least something to hope for, Ren.”

Something shattered inside Serena at those words. She surged forward, using her greater height to back Lily against the door. “Do you love me?” She demanded.

At her mute, shameful nod, Serena swooped down and did the one thing she’s wanted to do since third year: she kissed Lily Evans.

Her nose. Her big, dumb nose bumped against her, and it was embarrassing, their first kiss was supposed to be magical— but Lily reached up and gripped the back of Serena’s head, refusing to let her pull back. Lily held her in place, deepening the kiss and wrapping one hand against Serena’s satin-covered waist. She pulled back to finger the smooth, black fabric that clung to her. “God,” she said against Serena’s lips. “I’ve never seen you bare this much skin. It’s driving me crazy.”

Her grip on Serena’s waist suddenly tightened and she felt herself spun around until she was braced against the sink. Lily shot her a wicked grin. “Hop on,” she said.

Serena rolled her eyes. “You won’t be able to kiss me if I get on it. You’re too short.”

“I can kiss places other than your lips, Ren.”

That was all the incentive Serena needed.

She hopped onto the sink counter, the short dress riding up and baring the black panties she was wearing underneath. Lily’s hands ran upward from her ankles to her knees, her thumbs dipping into her thighs as she stared. “Those aren’t your underwear.”

“How would you know what my underwear looks like?” Serena demanded. She rolled her eyes at Lily’s blush. “If you must know, they’re new. Malfoy bought me some things. He wants me to make a good match.”

Lily wrinkled her nose. “Malfoy bought you underwear? Oh, now it has to come off.”

Despite this brazen statement, it took Lily a few seconds to work up her courage. She continued to rub circles into Serena’s thighs, and as Serena slowly spread her legs wider, Lily inched ever closer. When her fingers brushed the edge of the lace, she ducked her head until she was eye level with her crotch. Lily’s warm breath against her flesh sent a shiver down Serena’s spine and she could feel herself grow damp, soaking into her underwear, and Lily’s breath came a little faster.

Lily tugged on the fabric, letting it slip down to Ren’s ankles. Her nose was centimeters from the soft, pink folds, and she couldn’t stop herself from licking her lips, her tongue brushing against the other girl. Serena gave a little jump at the sudden sensation and Lily, spurred by her reaction, did it again. Her hands ran up and down her thighs, before sinking down to spread the outer folds, baring her quivering hole to Lily’s gaze. She dove in, using her tongue to brush against her clit, around and around, before sucking the nub into her mouth. It felt like lightning was coursing through Serena’s body; every pass Lily took with her tongue sent another shock to her system. It almost burned; the pleasure was so intense.

She couldn’t stop her hand from clutching those beautiful red strands and pulling her in until Lily’s nose was flush against her pubic bone. Lily mouthed against her, and slipped a finger inside her spasming cunt. Serena flushed darkly at the squelching noises Lily’s finger made as she thrust it in and out of her; she was so wet, and she felt so open, ready to take anything Lily could give her. Her tongue, more fingers, anything. Lily sucked hard on her clit and crooked her finger and Serena saw stars. She pushed down on Lily’s finger as her orgasm crashed, and she knew Lily’s mouth and chin must be soaking from her juices.

Germaine stood next to Potter as the noises from the girls’ restroom grew increasingly louder. “I don’t-- I don’t understand what just happened,” Potter said.

Germaine clapped him on his shoulder. “They’re lesbians, Potter.”
