When Skeppy opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was that it was still dark. It surprised him that he woke up so early, Skeppy was always sleepy, he slept until Bad woke him up.

He looked at the watch on the nightstand next to the bed. The clock only showed 3 am. Too early for Skeppy. He sighed and lowered his head against the pillows, closing his eyes again. As he was about to fall asleep, he heard a noise from farther down the hall.

He opened his eyes again, lifting his head from the pillow. He took off the covers and slowly, so as not to wake up his partner lying next to him, stood up and walked quietly but quickly to the corridor. He stood in the middle trying to see something in the dark. For a moment he stood and listened, after a while he heard a faint scuffling sound coming from his son's room. The door to the puppy's room was wide open and Skeppy heard a noise.

Alfa walked slowly to the entrance to his son's room, inside he was greeted by an interesting, touching, but also terrifying sight.

Sapnap, their four-year-old son hung over the edge of the gate from his crib. Sapnap leaned too much to the wrong side, and if it weren't for the alpha's quick reflexes, the puppy would have landed a hard landing on the floor. Skeppy held his son close to his chest with a firm grip.

"Hey buddy, where are you in such a hurry?'' Alpha asked raising his son to eye level. The child avoided his father's gaze as he stared at the floor. He sniffed quietly. Skeppy frowned in confusion, not knowing what was happening. ''Sap, did you cry?'' he asked, trying to look at the baby's face. Sapnap was still successfully avoiding his father's gaze. "I think we must resort to radical measures ..." he said after a moment. He stood still for a moment, Sapnap raised his head slowly, looking at the alpha. Skeppy instantly threw the puppy high in the air and quickly grabbed it. He repeated this three more times until he heard his son laugh. ''Well, now tell your dad what happened'' he grabbed his son by the cheek wiping the traces of tears.

''There was a monster ... '' As he spoke, he pointed to the corner where the chest of drawers with clothes was lying. Sapnap quickly turned his head and hid it in the crook of the alpha's neck. Skeppy hugged his son tighter and smiled softly under his breath.

"Sappy, there aren't any monsters there" he muttered, rocking the puppy in his arms. He unhooked the boy from his neck and was about to put him back in the crib when the baby began to thrash in his hands and cry louder.

''Dad, no! I don't want to sleep here!'' he screamed and looked at his father with teary eyes. Skeppy didn't know what to do, pulled the puppy back to his chest and hugged him tightly. For a moment he rocked his son in his arms, thinking what to do with the cranky puppy that did not want to fall asleep. He turned and stared into the darkness of the corridor, thinking of an omega that might calm their son. But he didn't want to wake Bad. After a while a good idea struck him.

''Sap, and if dad lets you sleep with him and mom in their bed, will you sleep nice?'' he asked his son, peeling it away from him and placing it at eye level. The child quickly looked up, hope and joy immediately appeared in his eyes. He quickly nodded his head and said quietly "I'll be good!" He threw his arms around his father's neck, grabbing her tightly. Skeppy adjusted the handle on the baby and slowly made his way down the hall to their bedrooms.

Slowly he entered the bedroom, went to the bed and gently, so as not to wake up the omega, put his son in the middle of the bed and then he himself lay down on the other end, covering them with the duvet. He watched as Sapnap settled into a comfortable position, then hugged the omega's neck, inhaling its calming scent. Without waking up, Bad instinctively hugged the baby closer to the center of the bed. The Alpha in Skeppy purred with the pride she felt when she saw her family. Skeppy moved closer and put his arm around them, bringing them closer together. He kissed both of them on the head, falling asleep with a small smile on his face.

In the morning Bad was awakened by faint stabs on the cheek. He slowly opened and looked around for the source of the stabs. He tilted his head down, and to his surprise he saw his son hugging him and poking his cheek. The child, realizing that he had finally awakened his mother, smiled and whispered a soft "mama!" And then hugged him tightly.

"Pandas, what are you doing here?" He asked confusedly, sitting down slowly on the bed and taking his son to his lap. He ran his fingers through the child's hair, eliciting soft murmurs of satisfaction from his son.

''There was a monster in my room! I wanted to run away so I climbed the bed gate, but Daddy came and took me off! He wanted to put me back to bed but I didn't want to sleep there! So daddy said I'd sleep with you guys as long as I'm good! And I was!'' The puppy replied in a whisper so as not to wake up Skeppy who was still sleeping next to him. He hugged omega's neck again, hiding his face there. Bad shook his head with a smile and wrapped his arm around his son with one hand, the other pushing the covers away from their bodies. He got out of bed with Sapnap in his arms. He took the child away from his neck and, looking into his eyes, said:

"Maybe in return that daddy saved you from the monster in the room and let you sleep with us, we'll make him pancakes with whipped cream and fruit, huh?" Omega looked at his son with a gentle smile. The baby, with a big smile, shook its head enthusiastically. The demon set the puppy down on the floor and grabbed his son's little hand. They left the room and slowly, still holding his mother's hand, Sapnap ran down the stairs to the kitchen.

Back in the kitchen, Bad picked up Sapnap again, and he and the baby began to take out the necessary ingredients for the pancakes one by one.

''Mom will cut the fruit and you can mix the mass, okay?'' the demon put his son on the kitchen counter, put a bowl in front of him and the necessary ingredients right next to him. '' Here, this is your help in mixing, hold tight not to drop, okay?'' omega gave the child a large wooden spoon. The pup grabbed the spoon and shook his head quickly as he watched the next moves carefully.

Bad added flour, egg, milk and oil in turn. When he nodded, Sapnap grabbed the bowl and began to mix the ingredients. After the demon made sure that the child would not drop either the bowl or the spoon, he started slicing the fruit.

Half an hour later, a plate of six pancakes topped with whipped cream and fruit was ready. Bad gave two chocolate covered pancakes to Sap, he left two with only whipped cream. He waited for the child to finish eating his own so that he could give the plate to his son and go upstairs with him.

''Eaten?'' The demon asked looking at the boy as he licks his fingers with chocolate.

''Yes!'' Sapnap stretched out his hands towards Mom with a smile and a dirty face. Omega smiled and, grabbing the paper towel behind the boy, wiped his face smeared with chocolate.

The demon lifted the baby in his arms and, supporting him with one hand, grabbed a plate of pancakes with the other and headed for the stairs leading up to the bedroom. He walked slowly so as not to fall over. He put his son in front of the room and gave him a plate. "Pandas, wait here, I will come in and wake daddy and you will come in and give him a plate with breakfast, okay?" he asked, stroking his son's head.

''Okay mama!''

The demon entered the room slowly, passed the bed, and sat on the side where Skeppy lay. He bent down and began to place gentle kisses on the alpha's forehead, cheeks and nose. The diamond hybrid purred softly and, slowly opening his eyes, he smiled at the omega in front of him. Bad, seeing that Skeppy was already awake, placed a gentle but tender kiss on the lips of the alpha. Skeppy kissed the demon grabbing omega's cheeks.

''Good morning sunshine'' omega muttered as he ran his fingers through his partner's hair. Skeppy purred at the gesture, grabbed Bad's hands and brought them to his lips, folding little kisses.

''Good morning, sweetheart'' Alpha sat on the bed wanting to move his partner closer. The demon shook his head and stepped back slightly.

"Sapnap has a little surprise for you" the omega stepped away from his partner and looked towards the door, where the boy, with a huge plate of pancakes in his hands, slowly walked over to the bed and placed the plate on Dad's lap, then climbed onto his mother's lap.

''We made pancakes for you!'' the child exclaimed, a huge beaming smile on his face. Skeppy stared at the plate in front of him with open eyes, then looked at the other two.

''But what is that for?'' He pointed at the whole thing on his knees.

"For dad saving me from the monster in the room last night!" Sapnap exclaimed happily.

Skeppy stroked the baby's hair, shifted himself into a sitting position, and began to cut his meal. Bad with Sapnap on his lap settled closer to the side of the alpha.

Skeppy cut the first piece and put it in his mouth with a smug sigh. "God, it's been a long time since I had pancakes" he muttered, his mouth full.

"Just be careful, don't get the sheets dirty" Bad said, wiping a piece of whipped cream from Skeppy's cheek.

Alfa did not pay attention to his partner's words, he was still eating pancakes, occasionally giving his son a piece of fruit in whipped cream.

When he finished eating, he put the dirty plate on the bedside table, grabbed Bad and Sapnap in his arms, and rolled them over onto the bed, laying down on them.

''Dad get off of me! You're heavy!!'' Sap screamed, laughing as he tried to get out from under his father.

''Skepyyyyyy'' demon also groaned trying to get out from under the alpha.

Skeppy just laughed and hugged them tighter. After a while an idea struck him.

''Hey Sapnap, if you brush your teeth and get dressed in 10 minutes, me and mom will go with you to the playground'' he looked at his son smiling as he saw the big banana growing on the other's face.

''Really?!'' the pup asked hopefully. They both automatically looked at the omega, who just nodded his head in agreement.

Sapnap broke free from dad's hands in one quick movement and ran to the bathroom.

Bad looked at Skeppy with a raised eyebrow. '' Where did this idea suddenly come from?''

''Why sit at home when you can go to the playground with your beloved family?'' answered the question with a question.

Bad just laughed and pulled Skeppy's face against his. Their lips met in a long soft and tender kiss.
