Chapter Text
The year was 1987, I was currently partaking in another year at the incredible Institutet for the future criminally insane, also known as King's Dominion, Atelier of the Deadly Arts. This elite private school was a sanctuary for the world's top crime families to send their next-generation assassins, serial killers, and cartel leaders.
I myself was part of the most well-known family of killers. Generation after generation were sent to learn at King's dominion, and now I would be spending the remainder of my teenage years learning how to become a trained killer.
Not to say I was very proud of it but I had a considerably large reputation here, I had made a name for myself and it was like everyone knew it, feared it, and when I say everyone I mean, everyone. Which was quite strange given the fact that I really didn’t know that many people. Well, I know of people, if that’s any difference.
Of course like every other school there were the jocks, preps, nerds, metalheads, but given the fact that we were all being trained as international killers, you could say we weren’t really like other high schools. I chose not to participate in the facade of cliche high school groups. I kept to myself and I was just fine with that. But I was not a rat, and god help thee if someone ever called me one.
I stood in the hallway leaned up against my locker, my attention was more focused on my reflection in the open mirror I held in my hand than on the world around me, but as the students became quieter and at the atmosphere slightly changed I peeked over the top of it and lazily gazed around the halls looking for anything unusual.
I was just about to brush it off but out of nowhere, I watched Willie knock shoulders with someone causing their books to fall to the ground. We rarely ever got new students so when we did it was hard for them to blend in or just simply go unnoticed.
I closed my mirror, more interested in the new kid that walked aimlessly through the halls. He walked past Saya and even said hello but like everyone else she gave him the cold shoulder. That’s what it was like here.
One minute you could be great friends with someone and the next they were putting a knife in your back, only in this place it wasn’t metaphorically.
He stopped at the locker across from me, he had yet to notice how much of my interest he had captured. I had to admit, this kid was giving me straight psycho loner vibes, but the more I watched him interact with people the more I began to reassess my evaluation.
I watched as Maria approached him, great, that girl was bat shit crazy in more than just one way, and dating that douche of a boyfriend Chico just gave me even more of a reason to hate her.
Speak of the devil, Chico grabbed Maria by the throat pinning her to the lockers behind them. I was surprised when the new kid shoved him in an effort to help her but was only met with a swift punch in the stomach and a knife to the throat.
I wouldn’t put it past Chico to butcher someone on their first day so I thought it would be wise to step in. I pushed myself off the lockers and walked to them.
“Chico!” I watched him tense at the sound of my voice, god I love to watch them hesitate in fear. “That’s no way to treat someone on their first day.” I said, he took a step back and looked at the ground. “Is it?” I swiftly took the knife out of his hand and looked up at him.
I began straightening the collar and patting down the lapels of his suit jacket. I felt him become more rigid under the touch of my hand.
I turned to Chico's sidekick, “Do you mind holding this for me?” I asked, holding up the knife in my hand. He looked at Chico before hesitantly reaching his hand out. “Thank you.” I brought it down quickly, piercing it through his palm, he let out a small scream in agony holding his wrist in pain. Everyone stood shook for a moment before he ripped it out and cradled his hand to his chest.
I grabbed Chico's shirt and looked straight into his eyes, he couldn’t hold eye contact and only looked down at the floor between us. “Let this be a lesson to all.” I softly said.
Chico turned to the new kid, “See you tonight, estulto.” As soon as the bell rang he tore himself from my grasp and walked off.
I watched him disappear around the corner before I turned to look at the new kid. I didn’t know what it was about him but it was like he turned on a little switch in the back of my brain, not to ignore the fact that he was undeniably cute.
“Do you have a death wish or are you just fucking stupid?” He rolled his eyes and turned back to mess around in his locker. “I’m not going to save your ass again so don’t get used to it.” I told him leaning up next against the lockers, “Nice to meet you too I’m Marcus.”
I scoffed, shaking my head, and looked back up at him to find him already looking down at me smirking. His eyes were so black I could barely distinguish the difference between pupil and iris. There was something swimming in them, I couldn’t decipher what, but he was hiding something in those dark brown eyes of his.
I looked away, “y/n, you can call me y/n.” I watch as a smile breaks out on his face, “Alright, y/n it is.” he says. “Marcus, a word of advice, smiling doesn’t belong in a place like this. It’s not going to make you friends or get you what you want. You need to learn how to fit in, and if you don’t I’m afraid the next time we see each other you won’t be conscious enough to remember.” I told him honestly.
“Oh yeah, and what makes you say that.” He leaned in a little closer so I took a step towards him, “You’re in my world now baby, and unlike most of these bastards, I’m not afraid to do whatever it takes to get what I want. That includes using you to my advantage.”
I was thoroughly impressed at the way Marcus was so freely speaking to me, if he was anyone else, I would’ve had him on his hands and knees, kissing my shoes, and begging for forgiveness. Speaking of, where was Shabnam?

Chapter 2: Reagan Youth pt.2
Chapter Text
Lunch was too long, I sat alone with my food, untouched, and slid far away from me on the table. I noticed Chico's death glaring at Marcus who sat with some kid named Billy, I think.
I peaked at them once again and noticed Marcus put his hand up and gave me a small wave, but the kid across from him pulled his hand down quickly and scolded him. What the fuck was that rat’s problem?
I stood up quickly slamming my book shut loud enough to draw attention to me, I walked over to them and watched as Billy gulped loudly.
I stood behind Marcus leaning over with my hands placed on the table on either side of him and leaned my head farther down to whisper in his ear, by this time the whole cafeteria was just waiting for me to gut him like a fish.
Instead, I looked directly at Billy to make sure he saw as I placed a soft kiss on the side of Marcus’ jaw before whispering directly in his ear. “Remember what I said, pretty boy, a smile and a wave will get you nowhere in a place like this.” I bit his ear softly before standing up and walking out with my head held high.
I just love how they all look at me like I’m a god.
Marcus pov
“What about her? What’s her deal?” I asked Billy, he seemed to know a lot about everything that goes on around here and if I was going to be spending most of my time here I might as well get familiar with it all.
“That’s y/n l/n. Totally hot, totally gorgeous, totally deadly. She pretty much owns the ground we walk on.” he told me, “What so is she related to Master Lin or something?” I asked, “No, no she’s just a raging psychopath that will do anything to get what she wants. More than most people here. All the guys wanna bang her, all the girls wanna be her. She’s like royalty, really.”
I was confused about what she did to make people so scared of her. “Wait, so why is everyone so scared of her?” He dropped the chicken foot he was gnawing on. “So, you know how most of the kids here are affiliated? Well, supposedly generations of her family have been attending here. I guess there used to be a lot more of them, but for the past few years it’s only been her.”
I nodded at him so he would continue. “Rumor has it she killed her whole family, and you know what I wouldn’t put it past her. The girl is seriously psycho.” I looked at him and then back at her.
She looked up from her book, so I smiled and waved at her. Billy quickly grabbed my arm, putting it back on the table. “Are you crazy, man? Do you have a death wish?” He asked me, “Funny, she asked me the same thing this morning.” I told him.
We were interrupted by a presence behind me. They leaned over caging me in with their body, I could smell their sweet scent and it made my head foggy. She leaned her head down farther, I could feel her warm breath on the side of my face.
The room became smaller and it felt like all my senses were being driven into overload. The warm sensation of a kiss was placed on my jaw, her lips were soft and I so badly wanted to turn my head and cover them with my own, but I couldn't move. I was stuck and I couldn’t break free.
Is this what it's like to be hypnotized? “Remember what I said, pretty boy, a smile and a wave will get you nowhere in a place like this.” God her voice was so fucking hot, she then bit my ear before standing up and exiting.
I looked up and made eye contact with Billy. Shit, I totally forgot he was here. I looked around and saw almost everyone staring right at me, either with jealousy or envy. Shit, I forgot they were here. “Come on, I wanna show you something.” Billy quickly got up and left and I happily ran after him.
Y/n pov
I was just about to exit the bathroom when suddenly Marcus appeared in front of me. “I gotta talk to you.” He said out of breath. I rolled my eyes trying to push past him. “Get lost.” He blocked me from leaving. “Please.”
He sounded so desperate like I was the only one that could help, and well, of course, he would come to me. He knew only I could make everything in his little insignificant life better.
I looked at him for a moment. He looked almost scared like if I wasn’t going to help him he wouldn’t know what to do. I loved the look of desperation. I should make him beg. I shook away my thoughts and grabbed his arm pulling him with me back into the bathroom.
I leaned against the sink as he paced back and forth in front of me. He looked extremely nervous. I knew what he was worried about, It would be his number one problem for the time being because of Maria. “Chico?” I asked, “Shouldn’t have started shit with Chico.”
“He was choking Maria.” I scoffed and bit the inside of my cheek. “Maria. Well, good luck with that, psycho.” I stood straight up and made a move to walk out.
I didn’t want to hear him talk about poor Maria, the girl already pisses me off, and now that Marcus is wrapped around her little finger. The thought of her made my blood boil, that should be me. I don’t want her annoying ass around him. He grabbed my arm and stopped me.
“It’s all bullshit. This stupid reputation.” I looked up at him, It was like a million thoughts were running through his head. I looked at where his hand was gripping my arm and he realized his mistake, letting go of me and pacing to the other end of the room before pulling out a cigarette of his own and lighting it.
God, why did he look so hot doing the simplest things? He looked at me for a second and I nodded my head at him to continue. “When I was nine my dad and my mom, died right in front of me. Court sent me to a boy's home. The place was just a sweatshop. They tortured us, they…” He paused I watched as he remembered things that he so badly wanted to forget.
“They did a lot of bad shit. I hurt some guards when I bailed, but I didn’t kill those kids.” What the fuck was he even doing here then? “What about the newspapers, cops?” I asked, “They got it all wrong, and that’s not the point. I’m not what you think I am. I’m not like you.” He told me.
“Well if it’s all bullshit then why did you even come here?” I asked him. He looked down before taking another drag from his cigarette. “Saya, she told me to. She kissed me.” I was even more pissed than I was a minute ago. Fuck this new kid he just got here and he was making me feel and do things that I never thought would happen in my entire life.
“Of course she did.” I said, looking up at the ceiling. “What’s that supposed to mean?” He asked me, “Dude, it was an assignment. Lin probably would have failed her if she didn’t bring you back.” I said looking him dead in the eye.
He shook his head, “No. She told me I didn’t have to be alone.”, “And where is she now, huh? If you don’t believe me why don’t you just ask her yourself.” He sighed, “I just need help.” he told me.
“Yeah well, I didn’t tell you to go start shit with the cartel.” I snapped at him, “I didn’t know.” I started walking toward him slowly. “Didn’t know what? That the tatted-up vato, was a legitimate killer, and not a theater kid? Do you have any idea where you are?” I now stood right in front of him, I could tell he was intimidated even though I was at least six inches shorter than him.
“That’s why I’m asking for help.” He truly did sound helpless, but it wasn’t my problem. “He’s going to kill you.” I told him honestly, “So what should I do?”
“The only thing you can.” I took another step closer to him, reaching out, placing my hand on his chest, running it up to rest on the side of his neck. I tilted my head and got closer to his ear. “Run.”
I pulled away and walked out not waiting another second. As I opened the door I ran straight into Saya. I looked her up and down, “You might want to talk to Marcus, it seems like he’s feeling a little left in the dark.” I told her before knocking into her shoulder and pushing her out of my way.
~
I grabbed my things from my locker and made it up the stairs and out of the school. I figured some time out and away from this place would be good for me. I opened the entrance door to see Chico pinning Marcus to the courtyard wall with the same knife I put through his sidekick’s hand, pressed into his throat.
Did he not listen to a thing I just told him? I watched in curiosity wondering what Marcus would do next. “Say Chico’s the man, and you’re his bitch. Say it!”
“You’re just a dickless rich kid in a prep school, playing the role Daddy assigned. You got something to lose, I don’t. I fought a guy who carves people up for fun. You’re just a poser.” So he does want to die, good to know.
“You really think they’ll kick me out for gutting a rat?” Chico asked him, “Go on then. Show them, come on. Do it!” I gasped as Chico reached back to deliver the final attack to end Marcus’s life.
“Enough!” Everyone stopped and looked up at the balcony entrance where Master Lin stood. While everyone was frozen I quickly made my way between the two, pulling Chico back, and making sure Marcus was close to me. “Good. You’re learning. Just a friendly spar with my new amigo.
“Get some rest, Marcus. We’ll finish this later.” Chico spits at our feet before walking away with the rest of the crowd. I turned to make sure Marcus was okay.
I could feel his body heat radiating off of him as he stared at the ground, he was breathing hard and still looked like he wanted to beat the shit out of someone. “Marcus?” He looked up at me and then around at everyone else like he forgot where he was for a minute.
He looked back at me, and I looked up at him. I don’t know why the fuck I was so worried if he was okay or not. He brushed past me and grabbed his backpack from off the ground. “Fuck this place.” and with that, he disappeared.
~
I don’t know how but I found myself at the party petra was throwing. I held a plastic red cup in my hand about ¼ of the way full.
I really didn’t know why I was here. I just wanted a little distraction from today, and I think a small part of me was hoping that Marcus might come back. I set my cup down and stood up ready to leave. I just wanted to go back to my door and forget about the whole thing.
“Leaving already?” Marcus stood there in all his glory. Cup in hand and a smile on his face. I nodded my head. “Not really my type of crowd.” I told him. “Why’s that, you don’t enjoy a good party.”
“No, just don’t have many people to talk to at things like these.” I told him, honestly the worst part about being who I was, was the fact that people were too damn scared of me to even make conversation. “ ‘Things like these’? You say that like you’ve never been to a party.” I look down and blush embarrassed. What I wasn’t much of a party person.
“You’ve never been to a party!?” He asks surprised, “I have, I have, just not many.” I tell him. “That’s surprising. Aren’t you treated like royalty around here?” He asks, “And what’s that supposed to mean?” I ask. “You’re like the princess of Kings Dominion. It’s not hard to notice the way people act around you.” he informs me, good he’s finally catching on.
“I mean I feel like I should bow when addressing you.” We laugh and for the first time, I’m actually not paying attention to those around me and just focusing all my attention on the boy in front of me. “You can if you want.” I smirk at him.
We both look at each other with emotions rising in our eyes. His tongue drags across his bottom lip before his eyes advert to mine. I bite at mine holding it tightly between my teeth. He takes a step back and bows, as he’s leaned over he speaks.
“It’s nice to see you, princess.” My eyes widened in amusement. “That better not stick.” I tell him pointing my finger sternly. “Oh, it’s sticking.” I laugh and he steps closer to me.
I look around at the party and notice Maria staring at us, while Chico is glaring at her. “We have an audience.” I tell him, “I’m not surprised. She tried kissing me when I got back earlier.” I looked at him, not even trying to hide the jealousy that oozed out of me.
“What did you do?” I asked, “Nothing. I told her I had enough problems, and she wasn’t worth having Chico on my ass for the rest of my life.” He slips his arm around my waist pulling me up against him.
“As long as Maria shows you attention Chico will always be on your ass.” I told him. “Well, maybe I just need to show her how uninterested I really am.” he says. I kept looking between his lips and eyes hoping he’d be the one to make the move and not leave it all up to me to do it. We were already so close.
I could feel his breath fan across my lips, his heart was beating rapidly and I could feel it through his chest. “And how do you plan on doing that?” I teased. “Like this.” He leaned into me kissing my lips for the first time.
Suddenly it feels like everything around us goes oddly quiet. He bites at my lips and I part them, his tongue slips inside my mouth, gentle but demanding, it’s nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I finally understand why people describe a kiss as “melting’ because right now every square inch of my body is sinking into his.
My hand slid up his chest and into his hair, my fingers gripping it, pulling him closer. He grabs my waist tighter, one hand slipping down to grab and hand full of my backside.
I’m sure the whole party had taken notice of us. Probably all standing and watching dumbstruck. Jaws dropped and eyes wide open, but I didn’t care. I didn’t care about any of them. All I could focus on was Marcus.
His hands set me on fire as they ran up and down my body. I could smell his shampoo and whatever sweet cologne he had on, the lingering scent of cigarettes and him, just him. His skin, even though marked in scars and trauma, was addicting, it was the most mouth-watering smell I could ever imagine.
I want to breathe him in, lick him, bite him, eat him, make him bleed. He tasted like moonshine and cigarettes, I felt like an addict, I couldn’t get enough. His lips were slightly chapped and ruff against mine, but I didn’t care at all. They felt amazing against my now swollen ones.
I pulled away slightly to catch my breath, both our chests rising and falling with each big intake of air. “Wow.” He said breathlessly. I giggled and pulled him back to me placing my lips back onto his. I just wanted him closer, as close to me as physically possible. I kissed him deeper, drowning him with lips and breath. I wanted him, I got him, and now, I’ll do anything to keep him.
Chapter 3: Noise, Noise, Noise pt.1
Chapter Text
The next morning I walked through the halls with more confidence than ever. People could tell something was different, even if they weren’t there to witness it last night.
At the moment I was sitting in AP black arts listening to Willie tell a story about how he killed some fucked up homeless guy. I wasn't really paying attention and instead, doodling in my notebook.
Once again I caught myself staring at Marcus, and for some reason, he looked uncomfortable. Maybe he wasn't used to this kind of thing. Still, something was off.
I watched him tense and relax randomly as Willie talked. Right then and there I could tell something was going on. Willie finished and took his seat, Master Lin began another lecture.
"70% of soldiers don't pull the trigger in battle, no matter the stakes. The weak always choke in the face of killing. With fear of expulsion, all your hopes, and dreams, all your family's expectations only one of you could do it. So we'll have a new test, a final chance to prove your worth. Survive and you earn a place here. Fail and you die. The weak do not belong in my school. Go, get out of my sight." Everyone stood up and walked into the hall. I tried getting Marcus's attention but he was zoning out on the ground.
Everyone began yelling and complaining about the final, but I was more worried about Marcus. I walked up to him and grabbed his arm, getting his attention. "Hey." I said, and he looked at me with an obviously fake smile plastered across his face. "Hey.", "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah, just thinking about what the new test is going to be on."
I could tell he was lying. I looked at him seriously. "Don't lie to me." I said, He looked surprised that I had caught him. "Tell me when you're ready." I said.
All of a sudden two metal gate doors, on either side of the hall, closed quickly, trapping us. The lights began to dim and Master Lin's voice was coming through the intercom. "I'm alive without breath and cold as death. I'm never thirsty but always drinking. What am I? To pass this quiz and survive the poison gas, you need to make it to the botanical classroom and answer that riddle in five minutes.” I felt a hand grab mine and I looked at Marcus.
"Small breaths. Control your heart rate and take it slow." I told him, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. We both noticed Viktor trying to get the gate open. Marcus let go of me and walked to him. "Hey, I think I can help." He said. "I think you can screw off. What is this loser rat doing in AP class!" Brandy yelled.
Marcus took something from her hair before picking the lock on the gate and opening it for all of us. We made our way to school and into the hallways. It was eerie and quiet. Everyone was on guard, checking for boobie traps and other tests that might catch us by surprise.
We heard the sound of a floor tile being stepped on in the exit and entrance being closed off by monks coming out of the shadows. We all took a step back preparing for the next fight.
Most of us were able to defeat them and get out before the hallway entrance was closed off.
We all pushed and shoved our way into the botanical classroom, there were plants everywhere. Any one of them could be the antidote. “Take the wrong one and we’re all dead.” Saya yelled, all of a sudden we were dropping like flies.
I grabbed onto the table trying to hold myself up, but my strength was rapidly decreasing. I watched Marcus as he walked forwards muttering to himself and pointing at a plant. I didn’t get another minute of clarity before I fell unconscious.
~
We all walked into the cafeteria, Shabnam was there shouting about voting for him for class president, and quickly Viktor threw a trash can over him knocking him to the ground. I waited as Marcus helped him up.
“Thanks.”, “No worries.” Shabnam stuck his hand out and introduced himself before turning around and grabbing something, handing it to Marcus. “Rock out the vote.” He said, handing him a tape. I grabbed Marcus’s free hand and dragged him through the cafeteria.
We sat down at a free table which sadly was occupied by rats, but I was too tired to even complain. Lex wouldn’t shut up though blabbing on and on about Shabnam's poor music taste. “What happened to the kids who didn’t make it through?” Marcus asked, “Dead.” Petra told him.
“Nah, gothic Oompa Loompa monks revived the losers and whisked them back from whence they came.” Billy said, I laid my head on the palm of my hand and let out a groan. Marcus pulled my head to rest on his shoulder and hushed me.
“New pal?” I hear Lex ask. “I’m not really into the hierarchy, don’t normally shit on the physically unattractive, but that dude and his crew are highly annoying.” Petra spoke. “Crew?” Marcus asked and I sat my head up to look at who they were talking about only to lay it back down when I saw it was Shabnam.
“The goop patrol. Banker kids, mafia accountants, NASA.” Billy added, “NASA?” Marcus was surprised. “Oh, there’s a lot they’re not telling you.” I said. “Whatever, I’m not going to watch some kid get bullied.”
“These animals see kindness as weakness. It’s safer to be a dick.” I told him, “Everyone loves a dick.” Billy jokes. “Well, some more than others.” Lex added.
The seat next to me was taken, “Any of you guys seen the new spuds McKenzie commercial?” Shabnam asked, “You’ve brought a plague on our house.” Petra told Marcus. “You know, I hear they don’t really give that dog beer. PETA or some left-wing baby would complain.” Shabnam added and I groaned again biting Marcus' shoulder softly in an effort to tell how much I hate him at this very moment.
“Do you know what goes great with people who love beer commercials? A bullet in the box.” Lex said and I chuckled. “Anyway, Marcus, my parental units are going to be out of town, so me and the crew were thinking of firing up the Commodore 64, a little “Castle Wolfenstein,” charcuterie plate. My dad probably left some amaretto too, if we want to get a little crazy.” Shabnam informs him.
“We’re in.” Marcus says, “Come again?” Billy asks, choking on his drink. “School is dry. You know, something’s better than nothing.” Marcus implies. “My dad was clear, just a few friends.”, “You can’t win an election with just a few friends.” Billy suggests.
“You need to connect with a proletariat.” Lex says, “It’ll be a small gathering. We promise.” Marcus tells him, making me chuckle. Marcus drops his hand to my thigh and gives it a small warning squeeze.
Chapter 4: Noise, Noise, Noise pt.2
Chapter Text
I was busy getting ready for tonight when a knock on my bedroom door interrupted me. I opened it to reveal Marcus and Billy standing in the hallway. Marcus stood there looking me up and down before leaning up against the door frame.
“Princess, you look smoking.” he tells me, I grab my jacket and push his chest. “What did I tell you about that nickname?” I said and he wrapped his arms around my waist as we walked down the hall.
When we showed up at Shabnam’s party the whole house was packed and Shabnam was cleaning something weird off the wall. We went into the living room, “Who gets to see my penis tonight?” Lex said with one leg up on the coffee table. “Oh, so the sores cleared up.” Billy said, “No.” Lex tossed beers at the boys before grabbing one for himself.
“Ah, look who’s gracing us with her legacy presence in public, no less.” Lex says to me, I grab the beer out of his hand. “Different rules outside of school.” I said taking a swig.
“Petra, really?” I look over to see Billy eyes Petra up and down, “And you haven’t told her?” I ask and he shakes his head. “Okay, walk in like you’re everyone’s best friend. Be the center of the party. Make eye contact. Pull her in. Casually sit down next to her, but don’t smile. Just lean back, put your hand on your pecker, and then ask her if she’s hungry for pork.” I tell him trying to hold back my laugh.
“Ah, the old present, the pecker, classic. Thanks, y/n.” He says laughing. “Listen, kidding aside, you’re cute and funny and you’re not a dickhead. You’re a catch, Billy. She’s yours.” I patted his shoulder before walking away.
Sometime later I found myself sitting on the couch talking with Petra. Billy approached us visibly drunk, “Pizza. Italy.” he said pointing to the table, but Lex interrupted him. “Kill you to smile, Petra? Poor, sad poet. Thigh cutting, clove smoking, Marty fucking Bauhaus listener. go to the park. Feed the sodding squirrels. Life’s not so bad.” by this time Petra had gotten up and walked away, Billy as well.
Lex began going down the line of people closest to him talking shit drunk off his ass. I stood up and got out of the way quickly once he stood on the coffee table bottle in hand. Marcus approached us, “Damn, you got them all pegged, Lex. looking down your nose, talking loud.” he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him.
“You’re no different than a jock or a prep. You’re just another elitist dick with bad hair and a shitty bicycle chain necklace.” Marcus finished his rant. Lex jumps down and steps closer to him, but I didn’t let him get very far before stepping between the two. “Careful, mate. Murder school and all that.”
Marcus throws his drink before dragging me away. “What was that about?” I asked him letting our hands slip apart. “I hate bullies. Lex knew Billy was trying to talk to Petra and he dicked it all up. He’s just an asshole!” I grabbed his arm stopping him from walking away from me and dragged him into the bathroom.
He leaned against the sink in front of me, “Did your mouth buy you this scar?” I asked and softly ran the tip of my finger down his forehead, eyebrow, and cheekbone. It was jagged and it looked like it healed poorly.
“No, it was my bunkmate at the boys' home.” He told me sitting up slightly. “Straight razor, he left the eye.” I said, “He’s very generous.” We looked at each other for a moment and I took a step closer.
“I bet it used to seem very significant.” I told him, “Used to?” He asked, “All things love, pain, nostalgia. Year by year, it doesn’t hurt so much anymore. Whatever effect it had is mixed in like dye. Once dropped in, no changing the color back.” I told him.
“You’re drunk.” he said with a smile. I took another step forward letting my hand fall onto his torso, “What are you gonna do about it?” Marcus reached out and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, and without thinking I leaned into his touch.
His eyes darkened as they drifted down to look at my lips, which I drug my tongue across before capturing the bottom one with my teeth. He reached his other hand up and pulled it out running the tip of his thumb over it softly.
He dipped down pressing his lips to mine, his ruff lips were scratchy but in the most delicious way. He wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me closer to him, caressing my tongue with his, I threaded my fingers through his hair pulling on his dark strands.
All of a sudden he pulled away, his deep breaths were the only thing I could hear as well as the pounding in my ears.
Soon I caught the sound of Willie's voice. He was once again telling that god-awful story about his AP black arts final. Marcus rushed out of the bathroom and headed toward him and I followed after. “All fucking day, listening to you brag. Why don’t you shut the fuck up?”
Marcus grabbed Willie by his shirt before pushing him back and storming out the front door. I watched them talk through the window, and thought it would be best to let them be for a little while.
~
I found Marcus in an empty kitchen. He looked progressively drunker than the last time I saw him, but he still had a big smile on his face as soon as he saw me. “Hey handsome. How are you?” I asked, “Just fine Princess except I need another drink.” We wandered off into the living room.
Grabbing random bottles and emptying them into our cups, after downing many full drinks and dancing to song after song we found ourselves sitting on the carpet leaning against a wall. My head was against Marcus' shoulder and I was horribly drunk.
He suddenly stood up and rushed into the dining room, I stood up on wobbly legs and walked after him. I watched as he approached Brandy. “Hey, Brandy.” he didn’t wait for a reply before throwing his half-full cup of liquor all over her. “You bigoted piece of shit!”
I grabbed his shoulder and dragged him away from her before things could get any worse. “He’s drunk! He’s drunk, I’ll deal with him!” I pulled him away from everyone. “You’ve been trying to get yourself killed all night. I get what’s going on. Willie, the assignment.”
“No, not on me. He did it.” he said, brushing me off and walking away, “Okay, then why are you the one dealing with it?” I yelled after him.
~
I was in the kitchen with Petra eating snacks. “So Viktor?” I asked, She rolled her eyes and took another sip from her drink. “Yeah, what’s wrong with having a little fun once and a while.” She said, “Nothing nothing, I mean I just have one question.” I said looking at her.
We both broke into a fit of laughter, “I mean is he good thought?” I asked, “I don’t kiss and tell.” She says, throwing more popcorn into her mouth. We hear shouting erupt from the living room and rush over to find Lex beating the shit out of Shabnam. “Is that a-“, “Yes, yes it is.” I interrupted her.
Saya comes out of nowhere and cuts it in half, stopping the assault. Lex throws the other half on the ground and storms off as Viktor walks around the corner butt naked. “There is KGB wisdom. Sometimes you are dildo, sometimes you are face.” Before anyone could say another word someone yelled. “Cops!” Everyone began running out of the house and away from the cops.
I began looking for Marcus and found him outside holding his hands over his ears and yelling for something to leave him alone. I ran to him grabbing his arms, “Marcus! It’s me, come on, we need to go!” I somehow managed to get him back to the dorms and into his room.
He was incredibly drunk and could barely get into bed. I helped him lay down, “It’s hot.” He said and began struggling to take off his shirt. “Would you like some help?” I asked him, he let out a defeated sigh, “Yes please.” I sat on the side of his bed and helped him peel off the sweat-soaked shirt, throwing it off to the side.
Marcus leaned back on his arms staring at me drunkenly, he smiled at me. I blushed, “What?” I asked, “You’re so beautiful.” I looked down avoiding his gaze.
My eyes caught sight of the many different scars that littered his body. I ran my fingers over them slowly, I noticed his skin became pricked with chills as my hands moved lower down his torso. I was so distracted it startled me when he grabbed my wrist stopping me from going any further.
I looked back up at him, only to see his eyes full of so much pain. “Marcus?”, “I killed him. I killed him and I don’t regret it, he was a murderer and had hurt so many people, but I can’t get it out of my head.” I watched as tears fell from his eyes and down his scarred face.
I cupped his cheeks in my hands, lifting his face. “Marcus, look at me.” he looked me in the eyes. “It will get easier, but it will never go away. This will stay with you forever, so use it to your advantage. Don’t let it consume you, you’re too strong.” I placed my forehead against his all I can think about is how close we are to each other, his dark eyes, his breath hot against my skin.
There is a shift in his emotions, that darkening of his eyes tells me so. For an agonizing second he hesitates then suddenly, he yanks me against him by the back of my neck and tilts his head to kiss me. I push into him as his fingers move to tangle in my messy hair.
I opened my mouth to him, and his tongue slipped in, caressing my own. The taste of him on my tongue was addicting, and the dampness of his cheeks under my hands was a sign back to reality.
I sighed and slowly pulled away from him. “No, don’t stop.” he said, trying to capture my lips in his once again. “Marcus enough.” He pulled back, his bottom lip slightly dropping into a pout. I smile, pecking his lips quickly.
“You need to sleep.” I tell him, standing up and starting to walk out. I hear him fall back onto his bed and when I turn to check on him he’s already passed out. I turn off his light and close the door before heading to my dorm for the night.
Chapter 5: Noise, Noise, Noise pt.3
Chapter Text
The next day I spent nursing my hangover and trying to get some homework done. I rolled over burying my head into my pillows, hoping It should cancel out all the noise and I'd be able to get a few hours of sleep in.
A knock on my door interrupted my evening plans, “Go away!” I yelled at them, but they knocked again. I pulled my pillow away from my head angrily. “What!” The door slowly creaked open to reveal Marcus standing in a dress suit.
I smiled at him before sitting up. I went to ask what he was wearing it when he looked up at me with pink cheeks and bloodshot eyes. I threw my blankets off me and walked to him. “What happened?” I asked, but he shook his head.
“It’s okay now, everything is fine and dealt with. I just can’t stop crying.” I reached for him but he flinched, and I quickly pulled my hand back. He looked so tired and his hands were shaking as he repeatedly clenched them into fists before relaxing them.
I opened my door wider and stepped aside to let him in, he walked in and took a seat on my bed as I closed the door and locked it. I made my way back to him but he didn’t look up at me and just continued staring at his shaky hands.
I reached up, threading my hand into his slightly matted hair, it was still soft even though his curls were beginning to look messy. “Look at me.” He did as I said, he’s such a good listener. “Tell me how to help.” I didn’t have a clue what he wanted me to do.
“I can’t calm down, I just need to relax.” He told me, his flushed cheeks and tear-glazed eyes made him look so weak, I wanted to make him beg me for help, tell me I was the only one that could help.
The thought made me clench my thighs, I was so wet I thought my arousal would drip down my exposed legs.
“Do you trust me?” I asked him, and he nodded his head. I slowly sank to my knees resting my hands on his firm thighs, I slowly slid my hands up until they were just below him. “What are you doing?” he asked his cheeks turning a darker shade of red if that was even possible.
“Helping you relax. Isn’t that what you asked me to do?” I smirked up at him, he began to fidget slightly. “Yeah, but you don’t have to-”, “But I want to.” I told him, his eyes turned dark and he nodded at me to continue.
I slowly palmed him, through his slacks and he let out a shaky breath. I could tell he was holding his voice back, “Don’t be afraid. No one will hear us.” I told him to try to get him to calm down and not worry. He nodded once again, “Can I hear you say it?”
He looked at me confused, “Say okay, I wanna hear you say it.” I told him, “Okay.” he said, “Okay what?” I asked again, “I won’t be afraid.” he told me, “Good boy.”
I hadn’t stopped palming him this whole time and I could tell that his slacks were becoming uncomfortable. I reached up and undid his belt before unzipping his pants. I slipped my hands into his boxers and wrapped my hand around him.
He tensed and took in a sharp breath. “You okay?” I asked and he nodded. “Your hands, they’re cold.” He told me. “I’m sorry baby, why don’t we fix that.” I pulled his boxers down and pulled him out.
I leaned closer to him, gripping tighter as I placed an open-mouth kiss on to his base. He took another deep breath in before letting it out as well as letting a small moan slip. I kissed him again, this time with more tongue, I loved how his body reacted to me.
I drug my tongue up his length before kissing his tip, letting his arousal smear across my lips making my mouth slippery. I looked up and licked my lips tasting him, his eyes darkened and he reached up, threading his fingers into my hair with one hand as he leaned back on the other, excitement showing on his face.
I felt him watch my every movement. I jerked my hand up and down slowly and leaned back down licking his base at the same time. He began to buck his hips into me and I knew he needed more.
I pulled away and looked up at him, his cheeks were bright red, as well as the sides of his neck. His eyes were looking down at me, slightly closed and full of lust. “You’re beautiful.” I looked away slightly and blushed.
“Let me know if it’s too much for you.” I told him, and he nodded but I wanted him to use his words. He knew what I wanted because after a few seconds of me still not making a move he spoke, “Okay.”
I smiled and opened my mouth as wide as I could, placing him in my throat, pushing across my tongue all the way back. “Ahh.” A loud moan escaped his mouth and he threw his head back.
He pulled on the back of my neck unconsciously, forcing me to take more of his length causing me to gag slightly. I felt him freeze, thinking he must have hurt me. I pulled him out of my mouth slowly, pumping him slightly.
“Don’t worry about hurting me.” I told him and shoved him back into my mouth.
After a few moments, I felt him begin to take over. The gentleness slowly disappear and he began to slowly fuck my mouth. He thrusted and tugged on my neck at the same time, pushing into my throat and forcing the spit to drip from the side of my mouth down my chin.
I looked up at him, holding on to his muscular thighs for balance. I felt him speed up with the thrusts, fucking my throat deeper and harder. “Fuck.” his hand balled my hair into a fist, still not showing any mercy for my throat.
I felt his cock twitch inside my mouth, and I knew he was close. He was hitting me with so much force I struggled to remain upright. Saliva spilled everywhere, I felt like his possession, his own personal object to do whatever the fuck he wanted to, and for some reason I loved it.
He stopped thrusting and shoved his dick completely inside my throat, releasing with a loud moan. I could feel him throbbing in pleasure. He dumped his cum into my mouth, piles of it dropping onto the back of my tongue and throat.
His moans started decreasing in volume until he was completely finished. He released my hair and slowly pulled his soaked dick out of my mouth. His breathing was ragged and he looked like he was going to fall asleep right then and there.
I reached up, caressing his jaw. “You are mine.” He looked up at me with hooded eyes before nodding. I tucked him back into his pants and stood up wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.
I started to help him take off his tie and jacket but he stopped me. “Stay with me, please.” he said, “Of course.” I helped him into my bed and climbed under the covers after him.
He wrapped me in his arms and rested his head in the crook of my neck, I felt as his breathing become slower and I knew he had fallen asleep.
Chapter 6: Snake pit pt.1
Chapter Text
It was lunch and I needed to stop by the library before I met up with Marcus. I entered the cafeteria and spotted Marcus sitting at a table. I walked up and placed a kiss on his cheek taking the seat next to him.
He stopped what he was doing and turned and grabbed my face kissing me directly on the lips, we kissed for a few seconds before I pulled away. “What was that for?” I asked, “Nothing.” He said.
“That wasn’t nothing.” I told him, “Well, I was hoping that instead of going to that awful legacy ball, you spend the night with me and Billy, and maybe Lex.” He told me, “Ohh my favorite two people and you.” I said sarcastically.
“You’re gonna give me a lecture on punk cred?” Petra asked suddenly, as everyone began to sit down at the table. “Oh not at all. Hell, I'd give Viktor a firm hand job to get out of this jive-ass hazing.” Marcus said, shooting me a wink.
I hit his shoulder hard. “Dude, you giving out hand jobs?” Billy asked, “You might be quieter about it, Marcus, but you’re judging her, too. I’m very intuitive.” Lex said, taking a bite of his food.
“Says the guy who thinks Jaws Is a comedy.” Patra informs us. “Come on! Nantucket twats getting chomped? That shark's a bloody hero. I began to look around the room at everyone,
"Why is nobody else eating?" I asked, "Que hubo? Que hubo? How's lunch? Special recipe today." Chico said and approached us. Billy dropped his fork picking up something on his plate.
He lifted up a blue long worm looking thing. "Rat. The other white meat." Everyone began laughing as the whole table stood up and ran into the bathroom.
Marcus stood up slowly and grabbed my arm dragging me into the bathroom after them.
~
I leaned over the sink running my mouth under the water for a second. "What are you doing?" Marcus asked me, "You ate that shit." I told him, "Not my first rat stew." He informed me.
"Yeah, but you kissed me." I said leaning back up and wiping off my mouth. The boys fell back out of the stalls.
"I'll see you later okay." I told Marcus, he leaned in to kiss me but I turned my head so it landed on my cheek. "Brush your teeth." I told him and exited my bathroom.
As I walked down the hall my arm was grabbed and I turned around to make eye contact with one of Chico's henchmen. I ripped my arm away from him.
"How dare you lay your hands on me." I said, "Relax baby. I just have a question for you." I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him. "I was wondering if you have a date to the legacy ball?" He asked me, "I don't." I told him.
"Well then, I was wondering if you like to go with me." He asked, I laughed, and I couldn't stop. "Me? Go with you? To the ball?" I was laughing so much that I wasn't prepared for him to grab me by the throat and slam me up against the lockers.
"Are you laughing at me." He asked gripping harder. This fucker was going to leave a bruise on my neck, and well die because I was about to murder him.
I began to speak but he tightened his grip even tighter and I began having trouble breathing as well as getting lightheaded. “Look at you. So weak and helpless. What happened to big bad y/n, is she all just a fake ass ruse to get people to respect you? I knew it wasn't true. You never fooled me.”
I was beyond pissed. How! Fucking! Dare! He! speak to me like this. Quickly I turned my head, ripping his hand off of me and twisting his wrist. He shouted out in pain once I kicked his left knee out and he kneeled to the floor in front of me.
I grabbed him by the throat letting my nails sink into his skin, he cried out louder this time when I twisted his wrist, even more, only stopped once I heard that satisfying snap. If everyone’s attention wasn’t on us already it definitely was now.
His eyes snapped open and he looked up at me. I slowly tilted my head at him, “Apologize.” I said, “W-what?” He asked obviously in a state of slight confusion being blinded by the pain. “Apologize.” I repeat.
“I-i don’t know-”, I kicked out his other knee and he fell to his side, pinning his other hand between his body and the floor. I held his other tightly, not letting go. “You heard me.” I told him.
“y/n that’s enough!” I looked to see Saya standing in front of me. “It’s enough when I say it’s enough. Now apologize!” I yelled. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Please! Please let me go! Please don’t kill me!” He cried out and I giggled, he was so funny.
God, he really thought I was going to kill him. I mean I really wanted to, but you know it would have been seen as overboard and you’re not really supposed to kill other students.
“Y/n!” Saya shouts, knocking me out of my daze. I look at her before looking back down at the kid. Quickly I let go of him, and he clutched his wrist to his chest.
What is up with these Chicano and not keeping their hands to themselves?
I looked around at everyone, “The fuck are you all looking at!” Just then the bell rings and people begin to move on.
I snap my head back to Saya, stepping closer to her with each word I speak. “And you, the next time you think about involving yourself in something that has nothing to do with you, be prepared sweetheart because it won’t always be this pretty.” I leaned down closer and I could feel the angst radiating off of her.
“Oh and stay the fuck away from Marcus.” I pushed past her, knocking her out of the way.
Chapter 7: Snake pit pt.2
Chapter Text
I sat next to Marcus as he leaned back in his chair. I threw my right leg over his thigh as his hand rested firmly on mine. He slightly pulled and pinched my skin and we both watched as it turned slightly red and sensitive.
He pinched slightly harder than the rest making me hiss and grab his hand, he only looked up at me with a sadistic smirk. We were interrupted by the class door opening and a monk rolling in a man strapped into a wheelchair chair.
He stopped and sat him in the front of the class. “Welcome to the Fundamentals of Psychopathy.” He looked around at us before rolling down the center of the class.
He stopped in front of Marcus and took a good look at him. “Now, why would Lin enroll such a lowlife into his esteemed Atelier of the Deadly arts?”, “You don’t know my reputation.” Marcus told him. “Well, reputations can be deceiving. Do you know mine?”
Shabnam interrupted, “You’re keen on astrology, 41 victims, no bodies found.” Billy coughed “Cannibalism.”, “I would never resort to such desperate theatrics. Today will be studying the murder’s muse, resentments. No better fuel for the feast. List what you despise, please.” the teacher asked Billy.
“Skaters who turn into a rockstar’s. Like Gator, he’s great, but the dude thinks he’s Prince.” He ranted but was interrupted by the teacher spitting. Ew.
He began going around the class asking each student, and finally, he reached back to our table. “What about you, boy? What do you hate?” He asked Marcus. “Bullies.” It was eerie for a moment. “Go on.”
“Tiny dick egotists who hurt people for no reason, make people lock their doors at night. People who make a general existence worse, people like you. Fucking hate people like you.” The teacher slowly turned closer to Marcus, but I quickly flicked out my switchblade leaning closer, stabbing it into the table between them.
The tension broke before he spoke again. “Today’s lesson was on resentments, and it looks like I got a new one. I’m just trying to picture you without feet.” he turned away and rolled back to the front of the class.
Marcus relaxed leaning back into his chair, death glaring at the back of the teacher. “Fucking prick.” he said under his breath. I grabbed his hand moving it up my thighs till it rested just below my panties.
He looked at me and I just smirked at him. “That was so hot.”
~
The rest of the day passed quickly, and soon everyone was enjoying the infamous legacy ball. I myself sat in my room watching Halloween.
I was interrupted when my bedroom door swung open, scaring the shit out of me and impulsively causing me to throw a knife directly next to the person's head.
Billy ducked and looked back between me and the knife that was now stuck inside the wall. “Fuck Billy! What do you want?” Marcus pushed him out of the way. “Help.” he said, smirking. “With?” I asked.
“Well you’ll have to just wait and see. You in?” he asks. “How can I be in when I don’t know what the fuck you are planing.” I tell him, “I guess you’ll just have to trust me.”
