Chapter 1: Sponsored Streaming Consequences

Notes:

I asked people in the discord - join the discord if you haven't - whether or not I should add in Foolish and the general consensus was yes. So, this is like a little case study to learn his character and to just be able to play around and have fun with a Mama Foolish.

Let me know what you think!

Also, this case study is apart of the Known series, so no one is confused.

Enjoy!

Chapter Text

Yellow-hued lighting lets off a constant buzzing sound above Dream’s head as he works away to clean up their streaming room free from leftover junk, things that have been left there since they originally moved into their home. Nighttime is swiftly approaching as his muscles start to ache, and his ears hurt from listening to the irritating buzzing, but he tries his best to finish everything up away. Sweat drips down from his forehead as he heaves to pick up another box, sorting through the mess that they left off for another day and suddenly hating his past self.

Soft, childish giggles float down the hallway into their streaming room as the babies squeal happily in the living room and watch what he could only assume is Bluey. Earlier they made a deal that Karl would cook dinner and bathe the littles’ while Dream cleaned up the room, and suddenly he’s starting to think he’s gotten the rotten half of the deal.

Nonetheless, this is something that has to get done, and he’ll be damned if he doesn’t finish it sometime tonight.

Stupidly - it’s not very stupid because it puts food in his children's’ belly’s and gives them whatever they could desire - both him and Karl decided to do a sponsored stream together. Which is stupid because they have three little boys’ who require constant attention, and that’s just something they can’t provide to them if they’re doing a sponsored stream. They’re sure their sponsors won’t take too kindly to them needing to step away every few minutes to tend to one of their children. And lucky them, his mother is out of town for the next few weeks visiting distant relatives, so there isn’t really anyone they trust enough to watch their boys.

The only solution they could come up with is using a baby pen to allow the littles space to play in, while they can keep a close eye on the small bunch and attend to the sponsored stream. At least, then it’ll also keep the children mostly out of the cameras’ view and maintain their privacy. Which is the exact reason Dream started cleaning up the room in the first place, so there would be room for a baby pen to be placed.

“Hey.” Karl says, getting his attention as he stands in the doorway looking at him. “It’s almost the boys’ bedtime. Do you want me to come get you so we can put them down together, or do you want to just keep working and I’ll put them down to sleep?” He asks, shifting his weight as he looks up at him.

“Come get me. I wanna tell them goodnight, plus I already missed bath time, so I’m sure they’re already a little upset with me.” Dream tells him, although he means every word. He knows firsthand just how bratty their children are when things don’t go their way whenever they want it too.

“Only a little.” Karl teases, poking his tongue out. “Button missed his Papa brushing his hair, so it’s still tangled, and Bug pitched a fit about getting into the bath without you there, but they were sweet other than that.”

“Oh, I’m sorry love. Had I known, I would’ve come out to help.” Dream says guiltily, moving a final box to be taken out into the garage. All he has left is to vacuum, and put the baby pen together, then he’ll finally have time to rest.

“It’s alright. Bug would’ve pitched a fit about something anyway, and you have time to brush out Button’s hair. All is well, and you’ve done great work here.” Karl compliments, looking at the clean space. It’s been a while since they’ve seen the carpet in that corner, he almost forgot what it looked like brand new and not well loved.

“Thanks, can you get the vacuum for me?” Dream asks, watching Karl nod his head before disappearing again.

His eyes dart around the newly opened space in amazement of all he managed to accomplish in a matter of a few hours. Usually, procrastination stops him from making this much progress for months, but he’s really proud of himself for managing this much. He can only hope this plan will work out how he needs it too.

Karl comes back with the vacuum and easily hands it off before kissing Dream’s lips and heading back off into the living room. He can hear his husband warn the boys’ about their approaching bedtime coupled with their whining before he starts up the vacuum and runs it over the flooring. Although he hates how loud vacuums are, he loves the crackling sound of dirt being picked up as he runs over current spots. It scratches a part of his brain and lightens up his mood as he continues to clean the flooring.

He turns the vacuum off and rewraps the cord around the back pieces, before beginning to work on putting the baby pen. Surprisingly, the pieces of the pen easily click together and stand up nicely, making Dream’s last job an easy one.

He manages to click the last piece of the baby pen together in a matter of a few minutes and steps away to look at his amazing work. Before the pride can settle in, he’s quickly overwhelmed by the realization that this baby pen isn’t going to work out how they wished it was going too. Because although the pen will hold the three boys’ inside, they’re still going to get upset with them if they’re locked up in a pen without one of them, while they stream just out of reach. The babies are not going to stop crying, nor will they understand why they’re in a pen without one of their parents.

They’re utterly screwed!

“Karl, we have a problem.” Dream says the second he sees his head pop into the room again, frowning at the other as Karl’s eyebrows scrunch together, and he walks in with Bean attached to his hip.

“Papa,” Bean whispers in a small voice, reaching out for his other father.

“Hey sweet boy,” Dream whispers back, pushing soft hair out of his face, before stealing him and setting him up on his hip. He ignores his aching muscles as they scream about the extra weight and instead, he bounces Bean until he’s resting in a more comfortable position for him to hold.

“What’s wrong, Dream?” Karl asks, eyes wide in worry. He was just about to get his husband so they could put the babies to bed, but now his heart is racing with worry as he looks around their streaming room.

“The baby pen, what’s going to stop them from crying while they're in it and we’re streaming? People are gonna think we neglect our kids,” he sighs, looking down at the offensive piece of furniture.

“That’s not true, they’ll be angel’s like always.” Karl brushes off, though he doesn’t fully believe what he’s saying.

“Are you sure about that?” Dream asks, before receiving a small head nod back in response. “Alright, let’s test that out. Stand behind that chair.” Dream directs him, before stepping over towards the baby pen and lowering Bean down into it.

Bean looks around in confusion as his hands grip tightly to his father’s shirt. He’s alright up to the point of Dream disconnecting his tiny fingers and taking a step back from him then Bean’s bottom lip starts wobbling.

When Dream turns them to face towards their set up and their eyes are no longer on Bean, the baby loses it. Tears fill up the brim of his eyelids as he starts whining and bouncing unhappily. When it becomes obvious that it won’t get his parents’ attention, the baby starts sobbing, loudly.

The little’s cry is ear-piercing and like they’d just kicked him, and Karl can’t stop himself from rushing to the little’s side and scooping him up from the pen to comfort him. Dream steps in their direction and starts rubbing Bean’s back in a comforting manner as he gives Karl a knowing look.

“Okay, that won’t work. What else can we possibly do before tomorrow night?” He worries, biting on his lower lip anxiously.

“We could ask Foolish perhaps, maybe he’ll help out. All he’ll need to do is sit in the pen and play with them. He’s the only other person down here in Florida that I could possibly trust enough for that.” Dream says, shifting his weight on his feet as he anxiously meets the blue eyes of his husband.

“I’ll ask him.” Karl sighs, his mouth opens up to say something, before it closes as they hear feet bounding down the hallway in their direction. They both turn to look at their other two children as they run in frantically, their eyes widening in shock.

“Huwt Bean!” Buggie gasps in shock as he looks at his parents with wide green eyes, bottom lip jutting out.

“What, honey, no we didn’t hurt your brother.” Dream tells him, watching as they both step inside and over towards their brother. Bean looks up at them with wide, watery eyes as they get closer to him.

“Huwt?” Buggie asks, catching his brother’s eyes.

Beanie baby shakes his head no as he sniffles, which causes his brothers to relax and fall from their protective stance. Dream and Karl give each other a small smile, before deciding it was time to put the lot to bed.

“Alright, bedtime babies.” Karl says, causing them to whine.

As Button turns around to drag his feet out of the room, Dream notices the tangled mess of the back of his hair. He picks the blond strands up before sighing, he hates how tangled their hair will get for no reason, either that, or the baby just rubbed his hair against the carpet or couch in the living room.

“Let’s go brush your hair Button.” Dream tells the boy, patting his back gently and watching his face light up in excitement.

Baby Button does love getting his hair brushed, so that makes things easier than if it were Beanie baby, mostly because that child bites him if he accidentally tugs his hair too roughly, and he’d rather work with a sweeter child. His little Rapunzel deserves to always have his hair brushed by himself, his little Princess.

Dream set his hair brush down on the ground of his nursery and plopped himself in the middle of the floor and welcomed his baby down into his arms. Button happily sits in front of his father, and slowly, Dream works through the knots in his hair.

They both enjoy these small moments they get to have together. Button adores his Papa endlessly, and this makes his heart very happy indeed.

When Dream can move the brush through Button’s hair with ease, he picks the boy up and goes to lay him down in his crib. He gives the baby a million and twelve kisses, pops his pacifier inside his mouth, and wishes him a goodnight before trading off with his husband and telling his other two sons’ goodnight as well.

His achy bones make it inside the shower, and he takes a long and hot one, getting all the gross sweat off of his body, and relaxing his sore muscles.

When he finally gets to crawl inside his bed beside his husband, Karl lets him know that Foolish agreed to come over and help them out for the night. Relief flooded through his body as he tiredly kissed his husband goodnight and fell into a dreamless sleep.

In the morning when they both woke up again, they discussed how everything would go down with Foolish, just because Foolish has never babysat for them before and their children can be mighty difficult. And once Foolish showed up later that afternoon with a dorky smile on his face, they told him everything as well. However, as for the time being, they both just slept within the comfort of each other's arms, happy and blissed out.

Chapter Text

Warm Florida sun rays stream in through the front windows as tiny feet patter across the carpeting, followed along with quiet babbling as the three children creep their way towards the windowsill.

They wiggle their way onto the bench set in front of the large window and peer out through the pane as they watch their Baba greet someone.

The man looks familiar to them all, but they aren’t too sure who he is as Baba wraps him up in a tight hug. Their heads cock to the side in confusion, curious about this new person they haven’t met yet.

Loose gravel crunches under their shoes as Karl’s hand rests on Foolish’s back and guides him towards the house. Dream had gone to the bathroom a few minutes before Foolish’s car pulled up, leaving their children unsupervised for a few minutes, which allowed them to sneak off towards the window.

The parents’ don’t like the children up in the window whenever people are in the yard, just as a safety precaution, but their nosey bunch adores looking outside at whoever pulled up to see if it’s someone they know.

Usually when Dream’s mother comes over to visit the boys’ or is taking them somewhere, then they’ll let the boys’ look outside to gauge their excitement for their grandmother, but if they aren’t expecting anyone to show up, then it’s a hard no from them.

“What’re you babies doing?” Dream’s voice suddenly booms, scaring all three of them and causing their small bodies to flinch.

Tears well up in all of their eyes as they turn around and slip back down onto the ground, wailing out from being scared and shrinking down smaller into themselves. Dream rushes over towards their sides, trying to shush down their crying as the front door begins to open up again.

“Babies, it’s alright. I’m sorry, I hadn’t meant to scare you, shush honey’s.” Dream tries fruitlessly as he picks up Button. The other two babies start sobbing harder, making Dream frantically look between them in worry without enough hands to possibly comfort all three of them at the same time.

“What happened?” Karl asks, rushing over towards their crying.

“I accidently scared them,” he sighs, rocking Button back and forth as Karl snags Bug off the floor and starts rocking that baby.

Dream’s face pales when Foolish walks in wordlessly, a smile still ever so present on his face, but worry reading in his eyes as he looks over the scene layed out in front of himself.

“Foolish, great to see you. Baby?” he asks, pointing down at a still crying Bean.

Without a second - single? - thought, Foolish scoops up Bean from the floor with wide eyes and watches the two parents very carefully before mimicking their behavior.

His movements are rough and jagged at first, but it begins to smooth out as he falls into an easy rhythm. Bean’s sobs quickly turn into small hiccups as he curls himself up tight into the warm force around him. Button and Bug’s crying calms down into small sniffles as they grab the soft fabric of their fathers hoodies and cling onto them tightly. The three give each other tired looks, before moving closer together again, still easily rocking the boys’ from side to side as they do.

Bean pulls his hand away to rub tears away from his eyes, before looking up at the person holding him, expecting it to be one of his parents. His eyebrows crease at the familiar face, but one that didn’t belong to his parents.

“‘O’lish?” He babbles, wiping away his tears.

“Hi.” Foolish giggles, smiling brightly down at the little and warming him up from the inside out as he stares up in amazement.

At the sound of a different voice, the other two littles’ turn to look at the third man themselves, before looking at each other. They “oh” to themselves, before looking up at their parents in confusion, wanting to be told what Foolish was doing here and why he was holding their baby brother.

“Sorry about that Foolish.” Dream says, frowning sheepishly. “I accidentally scared them before you got inside, so they started crying.” He explained, not that Foolish minded any.

“It’s cool. I was a little confused, but they’re very cute. Which baby am I holding?” He asks, still smiling as he bounces Bean up a little, but not by much. The baby giggles happily, clinging onto Foolish with a bright smile taking over his face. Bean seems to have already taken a liking to Foolish, so that’s good at the very least.

“Right,” Dream chuckles, resting his hand against Bean’s back. “This is baby Bean or sometimes called Beanie baby. Currently he’s the littlest at two and he seems to be in a clingy mood right now.” Dream says, offering a small smile.

“Hello baby Bean.” Foolish coos, tickling his stomach lightly and getting giggles back in return.

“Then, this is Button, our little princess.” Dream says, gesturing down at the little boy with a fond smile. “He’s currently three,” he pauses, waiting for a small nod of approval, before pointing out the last baby. “Finally, this is Bug or Buggie. Who also happens to be three, making them our twin boys.”

“Hello Button, hello Bug.” Foolish coos again as a small hand raises to cover his mouth. His eyebrow raises as he looks down at Bean, questioning his action.

Bean sinks down in his arms, grinning from ear to ear as he looks up with bright sparkling brown eyes.

Bean’s eye color reminds him of an autumn forest early in the morning, just after sunrise, and they’re absolutely gorgeous at that. The little keeps giggling, shyly looking down at his hands before looking up at him again.

“I think this baby might like you Foolish.” Dream chuckles, patting Bean’s back gently.

“He’s a very nice baby.” Foolish agrees, smiling up at the parents, before being guided deeper inside the house.

The three littles’ squirm their ways back to the ground again so they can go play, while the parents have a more serious conversation with Foolish.

They explain how the stream’s going to work out and what they needed of him exactly, all of which Foolish took in happily as he watched the three littles’ play with glowing eyes. He has the same dazzling look in his eyes that the parents could recognize from a mile away, he’ll be the perfect babysitter, if not becoming something more than that.

Foolish was the right choice for them, and the babies seem to agree.

Chapter Text

Small arms wrap tightly around Foolish’s neck as he carries the smallest baby around the house in steady steps behind his parents. He’s shifted the little one onto the side of his hip and holds onto his own arms to keep the baby held up as he walks curiously behind Dream towards the streaming room.

Other than when Dream and Karl were telling him about the arrangements, Bean has refused to leave Foolish’s arms. The baby even babbled about his room and showed off his Strawberry Shortcake stickers on the wall as Dream got him his Strawberry Shortcake doll that Bug got for him a long time ago. The baby curled up against Foolish’s shoulder with heavily lidded eyes and contently sucked on his paci as the world moved around him, but he didn’t care about it for a moment.

The parents shuffled around the streaming room in preparation, setting up different props that they needed for the sponsorship, along with fluffing up the playpen for the littles so that they’re comfortable.

They don’t have a run to put inside of the playpen, so they settle with a few old blankets and a lot of the boys’ stuffies. The softer the playpen, the better. They also put in a basket with their blocks and Bug’s cars, as requested by the littles’ themselves. Then, they got the littles’ ready to put inside the playpen but changing their outfits and making sure they’re in clean diapers. Dream also made sure to get Bug’s kitty and baby blanket from his crib before putting the baby inside of the pen.

Both Bug and Button whine a little as they’re placed in the pen, grumpily looking up at their fathers as their arms are crossed over. They’ve never been stuck inside a playpen before, and they do not like it one bit, and if their brother wasn’t inside the pen with them, then they both would’ve started crying to get out.

Foolish stands by the side, fixing to step over, before realizing that he should go to the bathroom himself before the stream starts, just so he won’t have to go during it and need to leave the babies alone. The only problem with that is he needs to put Bean down in order to go to the bathroom.

“I really need to pee.” Foolish says as he turns in Dream’s direction, wanting to just pass the baby off to make things easy.

“Just put him in the pen.” Dream brushes off as he starts typing away on the computer to put out a tweet about the stream. Foolish lets out a sad sigh, realizing Karl isn’t even anywhere near the room to take the baby either.

He should be fine inside the pen with his brothers, right?

Foolish likes to believe so as he untangles Bean’s fingers and starts to lower him to sit inside of the playpen beside his brothers. Bean whines as he looks up with tear-filled brown eyes and the biggest pouty lip that he’s ever seen on a baby. He sighs to himself, already feeling bad as he looks down at the little.

“Nooo, ‘O’lish!” he whines loudly, bouncing on his knees as tears slip down his pale cheeks.

Foolish can feel his heart shattering for the first time as he squats down to be eye-level with the little. Bean grabs onto the small hexagonal bars, poking his fingers through to the other side and trying to grab onto Foolish again. Foolish frowns, his own sad eyes looking down at the heartbroken baby and trying not to fall to absolute pieces.

“P’ease,” he murmurs, pleading.

“I’ll be right back Bean. I’m just going to the bathroom, and your Papa is right here. I won’t take long, no longer than a couple of minutes, and then I’ll come back and play with you and your brothers,” he promises, letting the little grip onto his index finger through the bars for a small form of reassurance.

“P’omise?” he asks, lip wobbling.

“I wholeheartedly promise Bean,” he says, face deadpan as he crosses over his heart with his free hand.

The baby seems to contemplate it for a long moment, just staring up at him sadly with concern written on his face. He absolutely doesn’t want Foolish to leave him, not for any reason as he frowns looking up at the other.

“Here, let’s put your paci back inside your mouth,” he says gently, reaching back over and grabbing onto his strawberry shortcake paci to put back inside his mouth.

Bean’s brown eyes gleamer up at the other, slowly nodding his head as he holds onto his dolly. He lets go of Foolish’s finger and stumbles back on his knees a little, silently allowing for the other to leave, even though he desperately didn’t want to. Foolish takes it with ease as he runs out of the room down the hallway. Bean looks up at his Papa with sad eyes, pouting behind his pacifier.

“Do you like Foolish, baby?” He asks softly, stepping over in the three littles’ direction and watching as they crowd around the edges to get to him. He gives him all soft smiles and ruffles up their hair.

“Mhm, wots.” Bean babbles, looking sad even as he sounds happy.

“Yeah, you want Foolish to come around more often?” He asks, trying to gauge the baby’s thoughts.

“Mama!” he chirps, bouncing happily.

“Is that what you want him to be?” He questions, trying to not pull any faces as he looks down at Bean, knowing it’ll only dissuade the baby if he does.

Dream could not say he was surprised in the slightest that Bean already decided he wanted Foolish to stay for forever. He has stage four clinger babies, who attach themselves very easily onto new people inside their lives, just as long as it’s someone they know they’re parents trust. Dream’s proof is Karl himself, because the babies are the ones who decided Karl needed a whole lot more than a trial run. And now that they know he won’t get upset by calling others parental names, they’re more willing to test them out.

“Mama!” Bug and Button chirped as well, bouncing excitedly at the thought of having a Mommy on top of their Fathers. “Mama, Mama!” They all chirped together, bringing a fond smile onto Dream’s lips as he melted down.

“Okay, just maybe Foolish will become your Mama’s. But you three gotta ask him about it, okay?” He tells the babies who nod with excitement.

Dream can tell the exact moment that Foolish comes back into the room by the way Bean’s eyes round out, looking up with excitement and making himself as small as possible. His heart flutters happily, bouncing out his extra energy as he reaches up for the person he has deemed as his new mother.

Foolish doesn’t question anything as he steps over the side and into the baby pen. He doesn’t pick Bean up, but instead sits down beside him and watches as the baby crawls in his direction.

Beanie baby reaches up with grubby hands and tries grabbing Foolish, which Foolish let’s happen as he pulls the little into his lap and holds him tightly.

Dream smiles in the others’ direction, fondness filling up his chest and understanding what the baby sees in the other. Understanding exactly what all three babies see in him as he handles them with care. He doesn’t skip a beat as Bean and Button babble up in his direction, explaining away whatever is on their little minds with happiness filling up their hearts.

This is a good man at heart, and he’s already perfect with the babies. Perhaps a Mama Foolish to finish them off, at least for the time being.

Chapter 4: Streams and Stage Four Clingers pt. 2

Chapter Text

Tiny, little fingers curl into the black fabric of Foolish’s shirt as Bean holds on tightly and rests his head under his chin, sucking contently on his pacifier as he gets held. He soaks in the warmth and loved feeling as his eyes close for a minute. He feels a little sleepy, but he doesn’t wanna sleep just yet instead just relaxing as best as he possibly can against broad shoulders and listening to the grumbling in his chest.

Dream and Karl started their stream a few minutes ago, letting everyone know that if they hear baby noises that the babies are in a playpen with Foolish. They even showed off the pen and watched everyone awe as they saw Bean curled up in Foolish’s lap peacefully.

Bug and Button play with stacking cups, inviting Foolish to join as they coo happily, squealing with delight. Smiles light up on the parents' faces anytime they see their mic picking up on the babies happy squeals, heads looking over in their direction with fondness written over their faces as they take a moment to watch their adorableness and remind themselves of how utterly perfect their babies are.

Foolish sits up as straight as possible with Bean still on his chest as he stacks and un-stacks the cups with the babies, really enjoying the noises they make when they clink together. He falls into their playful little world, following along on whatever it is they’re talking about as best as he possibly can.

He’s never met such talkative little babies in his life, and he used to babysit a lot when he was younger.

They’re so adorable when they talk with their little high-pitched, shrill voices and slurred speech, it’s incredibly easy for him to get lost in their world. Their little brains are just so fascinating, he could sit and listen to them babble on for hours. He would love getting to hear them babble more, he really hopes this isn’t just a once time thing, because he can’t help but adore these sweet babies with his whole heart.

Bean squirms to get down from his lap as he crawls to grab something hidden in the corner of the playpen, squealing excitedly as he crawls back over in Foolish’s direction with something white and fluffy in his hands.

“Wook ‘O’lish!” Bean squeal, holding up a stuffed bunny. “Bun Bun! ‘ems all mine, no gottas shawe ‘em!” He says proudly, looking up with bright eyes.

“Well, it’s nice to finally meet you Mr. Bun Bun.” Foolish jokes, shaking the stuffed bunnies paw in a silly manner with a silly accent. The three littles’ all giggle, getting a small kick out of it as their eyes gleamer happily.

“‘O’lish, ‘O’lish!” Bug babbles for his attention and lighting up when Foolish turns to look at him instead. “Wook, wook, it’s ‘itty!”

“How do you do, Kitty?” Foolish chuckles, not noticing Bug’s pout at first.

“Nooo,” he whines. “‘Itty, not ‘itty!”

“Huh?” Foolish chuckles nervously, looking over at his other two brothers in hopes that they’ll translate for their brother, but getting blank stares back. “I said Kitty though,” he mutters, eyebrows drawing together in confusion.

“Nooo!” Bug whines louder, frustration clouding his voice as tears form in his green eyes.

“Foolish, he means like Itty as the name, not Kitty.” Dream clues him in, not wanting Bug to get even more upset about not being understood. He knows it can’t be fun for the littles to be so misunderstood with their limited speech options.

“Oh, my mistake.” Foolish quickly corrects, watching as Bug perks up in excitement. “How do you do, little Itty?” He chuckles as Bug bounces in his spot, stimming happily about Foolish getting it right.

With those two babies satisfied, he turns to look at Button, expecting him to also have a stuffie he wants to show off.

“What about you little man? Wanna show me your favorite stuffie too?” He asks, smile slowly turning into a frown as Button deflates and rolls a random yellow car around sadly on the blankets.

“Don’t gots any,” he mumbles, blinking a couple of times to keep the tears from crowding his vision and slipping down his face.

“Huh, what about all of these?” Foolish asks, pointing out the different stuffies around the playpen, figuring one of them belongs to him. Even if it isn’t his favorite stuffie, surely there’s one for him to show off.

“Dey not mine, Bubbas.” Button shrugs, biting onto his fingers and looking down as he drops the car onto the blanket. His face pinches up in sadness as tears blur his vision and he reaches out sadly for Foolish. Foolish snags the baby and pulls him up into his lap as he rocks him slowly. He pats the baby’s hair as he sniffles sadly, hot tears falling onto his shirt and soaking the material.

Both Bug and Bean crawl closer, offering over their favorite stuffies and watching as Button blinks. He looks between his brothers who nod and offer them again. Button reaches out shaky takes and takes them, snuggling them up to his chest as he snuffles sadly.

Foolish will be damned to not get this sweet baby a stuffie of his own.

He’s going to do it.

Button takes his sadness in stride as he crawls out of Foolish’s lap and starts to play cars with Bug again after a matter of a few seconds. The stuffies are left in the care of Foolish as they play together, giggles feeling up the air once more as Foolish smiles fondly down at the little.

He’s still gonna get that baby something.

Foolish is sure that it isn’t his parents' fault, because they all have plenty of toys and kids easily lose interest in things of that nature, but it does break his heart for the little. Even with his limited time spent with these angels, he still knows that only deserves the world and everything more.

They will be loved and cared for; he’ll make sure of it.

Chapter Text

The world folds in small for Beanie baby as he plops himself back down on his bottom and stares up at his new Mama with his soft brown eyes and golden smile. He looks up at the man like he hung the moon and stars, or like he hung the entire universe himself, as he holds his bunny stuffie, Bun Bun , tight against his chest. He feels warm and fuzzy as his Mama’s laughter touches his ears, sinking him deeper into that pleasant feeling and reminding his little brain so much of home. He scoots forward a little, touching knees with Mama and slipping his fingers towards his lips now that his paci’s gone.

Every few seconds Mama’s eyes flicker back over in his direction, making him gleam with joy, before he would focus on his brothers again. He really likes Mama; he’s so nice to them, even when he doesn’t have to be.

Beanie baby doesn’t think his Papa or Baba know about it, but there was one night where he slipped after a stream with Foolish and they were already asleep. He didn’t wanna bug them, so he talked to Foolish for another hour and was slowly guided through the house until he got into his big room and slept until the late afternoon. Foolish even stayed in discord with him for the entire night, his Mama.

Mama chuckles louder, pulling a giggle out of him as he feels all fuzzy and warm again. He forces himself to turn around and crawls over to where his Baba left one of the paci’s bags so they could all have as many paci’s as they wanted. Beanie baby pulls out one of Bug’s orange paci’s before crawling back over to their Mama.

Mama’s eyes light up when he returns, softly speaking to him as he plops down again and stares up at him. He nods his head slowly as Mama picks his own pacifier back up again and pushes it gently into his mouth. He sucks on it contently, dewy cheeks squashing with delight as he coos to himself.

He gently reaches up for his Mama’s face, pressing his fingers to his lips as he babbles quietly to himself. Foolish smiles brightly down at him, his own eyes gleaming with mischief as focuses his attention back on the one little.

“Nom nom nom,” he laughs, fake eating Bean’s fingers.

Bean squeals loudly in response, bouncing in his spot happily as Foolish steals his entire hand and pretends to eat it as well.

“Mmm, you’re so tasty Beanie baby,” he laughs, watching the baby’s eyes light up as he starts to laugh harder.

“Mama sta-o-p it!” He squeals, trying to steal his hand away from Foolish.

Foolish’s brown eyes widen as his smile lights up more, searching the little’s face to figure out if he heard him correctly. His chest constricts in joyousness as he mimics the littles’ behavior and bounces as he gets closer.

“What’d you call me?” He asks, with the smile on his face keeping the baby from freaking out or thinking he did something wrong. Foolish pokes his stomach, prodding him for his answer as he giggles even louder. “Huh, what’d this little baby say to me?” He asks with a silly voice, lighting up the mood even more.

The entire stream can practically hear Bean’s squealing, which warms up the parents’ hearts as they turn to look over in their direction.

“Mama!” Bean chirps louder, warming up Foolish’s heart as he realizes that he did call him exactly what he thought he did. He scoops the baby up from the floor and pulls him into his lap, holding him tightly and squeezing him.

Although the elation is taking over, he still looks over at their parents to check with them that it’s alright. He’s sure it doesn’t make things official, but he’s always wanted to be a little’s parental parent ever since he started babysitting Quackity whenever Bad isn’t around to take care of him. Over top of everything else, he’s always wanted to be a parent, but knows it isn’t a feasible commitment right now.

Both Dream and Karl nod over in his direction, causing his eyes to fill with tears as he squashes Bean even more.

Bug and Button caught onto the moment at the same time, causing them to drop their toys and crawl over in their direction. They latch onto Foolish’s sides and feel as he lets go of Bean in favor of holding tightly onto them as well, both of them smiling.

“Mama,” they babble back, bringing even more tears into his eyes as he soaks in the warm hugs of the babies.

He already loves these boys’ so much, he doesn’t know how he’ll ever manage to leave them.

“Oh, you’re so sweet boys,” he murmurs, clearing out his throat as the other two pull back, but Beanie baby stays in his lap. He wipes away the tears before the three worry and sighs in content.

He leans back onto the palm of his hands and just watches them, smiling with utmost fondness at the adorable little boys. His eyes flicker up and down Bug’s body and watches him squirm in discomfort, eyes catching on the blue line on his diaper and ah-ing in acknowledgement. He catches eyes with Dream and motions towards the baby, before mouthing “wet” to him.

“I’ve got the baby,” Dream says, not even bothering to excuse himself as he grabs Bug up from the floor and leaves to change the smelly baby.

Karl stands himself up and stretches out his aching bones, clearly exhausted as he scoops up Button and rocks the boy slowly. Foolish’s eyes follow for a moment and watches Karl as he sits back down in Dream’s chair with the baby in his lap. He quietly answers a few questions from the fans as everything lulls out.

Beanie baby pulls out the pacifier he grabbed earlier and plays with it for a moment, before holding it up to Foolish.

Foolish tries to take the pacifier, thinking the little is handing it to him, but causes Bean to whine as he pulls it back. He puts his hands back down in surrender before leaning forward again and allowing for the baby to stick it up in his face. He lets his mouth open as the soft nipple touches his lips and lets Bean push the pacifier in, watching the little’s eyes light up with joy as he claps happily.

His Mama now looks exactly how he does!

Foolish plays into whatever the little is trying to do by keeping the pacifier in his mouth and bonking the plastic back against Bean’s, which causes the little to giggle again.

It doesn’t take long before Dream comes back in with Bug and places him back into the playpen. He also picks up Button and puts him back as well, before settling down by Karl and quietly looking over things to make sure everything they needed to do for the sponsorship had been completed.

Karl curls up around his arm, resting his head against his shoulder with his eyes closed as he lets himself relax. Exhaustion starts to hit him hard as he lightly snoozes but doesn’t fall fully asleep. Dream moves his left arm around his body, doing his best to pull him close with dual armrest in the way.

“Alright,” he mutters, clearly about to end the stream. “Bye guys.” Was all he said as he waved goodbye to the camera and ended their stream. He wraps his arms around Karl’s body and carefully picks him up, going to take him off to their bedroom.

With the stream ended, Foolish pulls out the pacifier and starts putting the playpen back together before standing up. His legs pop as he stands up, pulling up Beanie baby along with him. He steps over the side, before opening it up for the other two to leave as well. He holds his hand out, letting Bug grab it, while Punz grabs onto his back pocket and trails behind their newfound mother as he leads them towards the nurseries.

Dream steps out of his bedroom with a fond smile and scoops up Button to take him into his nursery. Bug keeps following along as Foolish goes into Bean’s nursery first. He unlatches the side of Bean’s crib and lets it fall.

He pulls back Beanie baby’s covers and settles him down. Bean falls back with his Bunny stuffie, holding it tight against his chest and kicking his feet out. He tucks the little one in, leaning down to kiss his face, and leaning back up to turn on his mobile not knowing Bean doesn’t use his very often. Bean doesn’t make a fuss though, smiling up contently behind his pacifier as his tired eyes blink closed.

“Goodnight baby Bean, sleep tight.” Foolish smiles, sweeping hair from his face and pulling the side back up to latch. “I’m gonna go home alright, so I might not be here when you wake up, okay?” He asks, wanting to make sure that the baby knows before he goes to bed.

“Otay, Ni’ni Mama,” he slurs back, falling into a deep slumber.

It warms up his heart as he backs them out from the room, dimming the lights on his way out as they head over to Bug’s nursery. He follows all the same steps, making sure to kiss his adorable face, before closing the side of his crib and wishing him a quiet goodnight.

Dream goes back through the nurseries, making sure to wish his sleeping children goodnight and turning on nightlights and giving them their stuffies.

The two awake parents meet out in the living room, Foolish about to say his goodbye, before Dream stops him.

“I’m sorry. I know Bean kinda blurted out calling you Mama tonight, and I just want you to know that if you don’t want to be a part of their lives like that, then I’ll explain it away and resolve the issue.” Exhaustion seeps into his voice as he stands there tiredly, ready to fall fast asleep as soon as possible.

“No, it’s okay.” Foolish reassures with a bright smile.

“Are you sure? I mean you don’t have to do anything, but it’s still a big responsibility.” Dream worries, not wanting to hurt his children with a dumb decision.

“Yeah, I’m sure Dream. But look, we’re both exhausted, why don’t I just head home and you sleep, and we can talk things over tomorrow?” He asks, causing them both to nod.

“Yeah, you’re right. Goodnight Foolish.” Dream smiles tiredly, pulling him into a hug.

“Goodnight.” He chimes back, before pulling on his shoes and heading out the front door.

As he turns on his car and backs up, he can’t help the feeling that settles in his chest that makes him realize that he’s not going home. While he’s going back to his house where all his crap is, he could never live in a home apart from the boys. He is going to a house, but it is no home.

He’ll come back home again, he knows it.

Chapter 6: Screaming, Crying, Scared, and Craving

Notes:

Crying, screaming, and nightmare/monster mention, but nothing vivid. It's just a very upset Beanie baby who needs his Mama and only his Mama.

Chapter Text

Delicate moonlight streams into Bean’s nursery through his fluttering curtains as the little twists, tugging against his tightening covers as small whimpers fall out of his mouth uncontrollably. His lip pokes out behind his pacifier as he twists unsteadily, tears crowding his vision as they blink open and peer out into the darkness. His breathing picks up as he yelps from the darkness, squeezing his bunny tight against his chest as he cries. Hot tears roll down his face, followed along with snot, as his eyes tighten up and close to keep the imagines of hiding monsters out of his sight.

He rolls himself over into the corner of his crib, tucking himself in tight and trying to make himself as small as possible as he babbles. Scary imagines of monsters flash around behind his eyes as wood creaking sends fear through his heart.

“Mama!” he screeches pitifully, pacifier falling out of his mouth as his lungs ache. He buries his snotty face into his bunny’s soft fur, trying to hide away from the scary world as he cries harder. Loud footsteps bang around from his parents room, making him fear the worst as heavy footsteps run in his direction. He screams again when a shadow appears in his doorway, head shaking fearfully and pleading with the monster to leave him alone because he’s been a good boy recently.

His nursery light flickers on, hurting his eyes as Dream’s heart races. He runs over to the side of Bean’s crib to collect the little, fearing the worst himself. He scoops his crying little up and gently rocks him back and forth in his arms, trying to figure out what would be best for him.

Bean’s teary brown eyes meet with his own, before he starts crying louder. He sniffles loudly, burying his face into his shirt and soaking it up with tears.

“Mama!” He cries pitifully, grabbing aimlessly at the air and frowning when Foolish appears where he wants him to be. “Mama!” He cries even harder, hurting Dream’s heart as he bounces the upset baby. Concern laces over his face as he tries shushing him down, figuring that the baby would quiet down in a moment's time, but it wasn’t the case by any means. Bean cries uncontrollably, limbs thrashing around as he whimpers for his Mama to appear.

Dream’s mind races, unsure of what he should do as he takes Bean out of his nursery and heads towards the living room. He grabs his phone off the charger as he goes, dialing up the one number he hopes can help. Seeing as Bean is crying for Foolish, he prays that Foolish can be the one person to help him, because he can tell the baby is too stressed and panicked to listen to him or be able to understand his breathing methods. He’ll just need to use up his resources to see which one of them will work out in his favor.

“Hello?” Foolish’s voice crackles, clearly still awake even though they all went to bed hours ago. Relief floods over Dream’s body as he bounces Bean upwards to adjust his sitting position, gently swaying him around the room fruitlessly.

“Oh thank god Foolish,” he breathes out in relief, voice clearly still panicked. “Bean’s crying for you and is really upset right now and I can’t calm him down. Please can you talk to him for a few minutes?” He pleas, voice trembling with fear of Foolish’s response. He figures he won’t just refuse this

“Of course, put Bean on.” He demands, mic picking up on shuffling as he moves around his room and searches for something.

“Beanie baby, it’s Mama.” Dream whispers, holding the phone up to the baby’s ear as he calms down slightly. He sniffles and whimpers as he leans into the device, listening out for the beautiful voice of his mother.

“Mama?” he whimpers, voice all watery as he waits for a response.

“Hey little one, what’s wrong baby?” Foolish’s voice is nothing above a whisper as he speaks gently to the baby.

“Ni’mare,” he whimpers, grabbing onto the phone to hold himself. “Mama!” He cries louder, needing his Mama. He doesn’t get why his Mama isn’t in the house, his parents are supposed to always be home with him, never apart.

He needs his Mama.

“I’m right here for you baby,” he whispers, trying his hardest to calm down the sobbing boy. “Mama’s right here for you sweetheart, and I’m not gonna go anywhere.”

“Wan’ Mama hewe!” he whines, biting onto his fingers miserably and frowning up towards his Papa with watery eyes. Dream pats his back gently in reassurance as he bounces the boy, endlessly grateful that he’s calmed down enough to stop crying and is breathing normally again.

“Okay, Mama will come back.” Foolish caves, not that he could put up much of a fight with the baby anyway. He’d feel too guilty if he did that, and he wants only happiness to find the babies.

“Fank you,” he mumbles as Dream puts his pacifier back inside his mouth. He blinks the tears from his eyes as he curls up into Dream’s neck, burying his face in the warm flesh as Dream keeps gently rocking them around the room. He hums lightly in the baby’s ear, keeping things in tune as he listens to Foolish on the other line.

“Mama will be there very soon Beanie baby, don’t even worry.” Foolish reassures, car on the road as he drives within the limit and safety back towards their home.

He’s going to make things better for his baby.

Chapter 7: Safety in your Arms

Notes:

For Vi... always<3

I've literally had this idea in my head for the entire day, I could not get my mind off of baby Bean for the life of me, but honestly I wouldn't want too.

Chapter Text

The living room is rather dark as they sit on the couch with steady light streaming in from the kitchen and the hallway, neither needing the blinding overhead light as Bean softly babbles to his Mama and sniffles sadly every so often. The little sits on top of Dream’s knee, gently kicking his legs out as a watery smile lights up his face and his small hands twist into the front of his father’s shirt for reassuring comfort.

It’s quiet in the living room, deafeningly quiet. Dream’s flexing ears pick up on the small conversation passing between the little one and the other on the phone, along with Patches lapping up water from her fountain before running off again. It’s almost quiet enough for Dream to lay back and fall asleep, but he doesn’t.

His eyes are red and sore and droopy from his lack of sleep, but he refuses to rest any as Bean whimpers out. He holds his baby close as he whines and holds the phone up to his face, allowing for him to hear Foolish’s voice more clearly.

“Hello?” Dream asks, snagging his phone back as Bean buries his teary face back into his neck and whimpers sadly.

“Hey, can you let me in?” Foolish asks with a slight tremble in his voice. Dream doesn’t even bother to respond as he hangs up and throws his phone onto the couch. Bean lets out a loud cry as he stands them up suddenly, causing the little to grab ahold of him tightly.

Dream bounces the upset baby as he heads for the front door, quickly unlocking it and pulling it open. He’s taken aback for a moment by Foolish’s disgruntled look, noticing his inside out hoodie and backwards shorts quickly, along with a small toy fidgeting between his hands as he sighs in relief at the sight of Bean in his arms. The moment passes quickly as Foolish holds his arms out and grabs Bean from under his armpits and takes him away from his Papa.

“Mama,” Bean whimpers, grabbing onto the man tightly and holding onto him for dear life as he smiles to himself, happy.

“I’m here baby.” Foolish tells him, petting his hair gently before holding his head against his chest and not letting go. He rocks them gently as the door gets shut behind their backs and they head deeper inside the room. He softly shushes the crying little as they come to a standstill in the middle of the living room. Their wide eyes catch in the darkness, silently agreeing as they do their best. “I know, little one. I know,” he says softly, holding onto him a little tighter.

“Scawy,” he whines, hiding deeper into the hoodie and breathing in Foolish’s scent.

“I know baby, but you’re safe now, very safe,” he reassures, hiking him up higher onto his hip as he lets the back of his head go.

Foolish holds a small yellow chicken in the palm of his hand, one that a fan had randomly given him that held no real meaning. During his panic to get dressed, he grabbed it on his way out because his scrambled brain thought it was an important item for him to take, not that he even managed to grab appropriate shoes for the drive over. However, as he holds it in his hand, he can tell it’s very important that he grabbed it in the first place.

As the baby still whimpers in his arms, he pushes the hair in his face back and pulls the teary eyes up in his direction. He holds the baby chick up in front of Bean’s face, showing it off and grabbing the little’s interest as he wipes his nose on the back of his hand.

“Mama?” He questions, head turning to the side as his tears slowly subside.

“Do you know what this is?” Foolish asks, getting a head shake back in response and wide eyes as he pays attention. “This is a little baby chick, one that’s really good at protecting little boys from scary monsters,” he says, watching the baby gasp in surprise as his brown eyes sparkle in the poor lighting.

“Po’tec’ me Mama?” Bean asks adorably, putting a smile onto Foolish’s lips as he looks down at the tiny bubba in his arms.

“Absolutely. This little chicken is a mighty one and will protect you from all those toe biting monsters.” Foolish reassures, handing it over to the little as he reaches out to grab it. Childish glee makes the little’s face glow and his eyes light up as he holds the small little chicken protectively against his chest. “What’s his name, little one?” Foolish asks, tapping the stuffies head.

“Kw'wee!” He cheers, holding it up to show off, before turning to show it off to his Papa in pride.

“Klaree is very cute baby, thank you for showing me.” Dream’s words slur together as he lets out an exhausted yawn, overcome with a sleep trying to take over him. His eyes are redder than before as he goes to rub them, struggling to stay awake for much longer. He’s a dead man walking at this point and there isn’t any reason for him to stay up for much longer than this now that Foolish is here and because the baby is finally calm.

“Dream.” Foolish says, feeling bad for the other as he frowns softly. “Go to bed, I have Bean and I’ll try to get the baby to fall asleep soon.” Foolish reassures, softly rubbing his arm.

“Okay.” Dream nods, yawning behind his balled-up fist as his eyes struggle to stay open for much longer. “Goodnight baby,” he says, rubbing the little’s back and kissing his face.

Dream moves with muscle memory as he leans up and kisses Foolish beside his mouth, not realizing what he’s doing as he mumbles a tired goodnight and goes to retire to bed for the night. Foolish holds onto the spot that Dream kissed as his face turns bright red and giddy giggles slip from his lips. He looks down at the baby in his arms, bouncing him excitedly as he tries to hide his blush behind a few deep breaths.

Chapter 8: Softness in your Safety

Notes:

An adoring mother to be.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Within a few extra minutes, the warmth fades from Foolish’s face as he begins to prance Bean around the living room, gently bouncing him in his arms as he feels less sure than before and a whole lot more scared. Although he’s cared for little kids and a regressed Quackity from time to time, he’s never taken care of a little on his own in person before, and he’s especially never taken care of Bean by himself. The baby clings onto him with tight fingers, keeping him as close as possible, as low whines fall from the back of his throat into Foolish’s ears.

Unsureness courses strong through his body as he bounces the small boy, smiling fondly as he keeps the small chicken close to his chest and heart. The little chicken, Klaree as the baby named him, stays pressed against their chests as Bean clings onto him. His pacifier has fallen out of his mouth once more, causing a deep chuckle to form in the back of his throat as he moves to pick it up again.

Bean opens his mouth before the soft teat makes its way there, already expecting it as he sniffles and bats his watery eyelashes.

“Mama?” he babbles behind his strawberry shortcake pacifier, looking up and meeting his brown eyes. They stare at each other for a few exchanged blinks before a shutter falls out of Bean and he mumbles a question in his mother’s direction.

“What Baby?” Foolish asks quietly, unprepared for anything. “Can you speak up for me? It’s a bit hard to hear you behind your paci.” He asks without trying to make the baby feel bad for mumbling.

“Kisses?” He asks, causing his “s’s” to slur together as his eyes grow wide in a hopeful nature.

Foolish’s nose scrunches up as he smiles, rubbing their two noses together softly before pressing a kiss onto his cheek with a loud “mwah” sound effect. He followed the kiss with a secondary one, then a third, and fourth, until every space on his face was covered in warm kisses that cause the baby to giggle and hide shyly in his arms. Small mumbles fall from behind Bean’s pacifier again, but Foolish can tell that they’re pointless words. He gently tickles the littles stomach with featherlike touches, causing more laughter to fill the air as the baby grabs his wrist and forces him to stop with a loud huff.

“You’re adorable, baby.” Foolish smiles, kissing the boy’s face once more for good measure.

He looks the little over and watches him slightly yawn behind his pacifier, exhaustion slowly creeping its way back up and easily guiding Foolish in the direction he needs to take.

Of everything that he remembers from little Quackity, it’s the fact that he can’t sleep without a bottle of warm milk, and it surely doesn’t fully transfer over to all littles, but it’s worth a shot. The squirmy little in his arms pulls down his attention as he opens his mouth to question his sudden weird behavior, behind noticing the glimmer in his eyes as he whines out and squirms more. Making him a bottle gets sidetracked as he turns to head back down the nursery's direction instead.

His head pokes to look inside the different ones, noticing the other sleeping children as he finds his way back over to Bean’s nursery that had been shown off to him earlier. The light has been left on, but it’s more dim as he goes into the room and lets the door fall shut behind him.

Foolish cocks his head in confusion at the second door in the room that he didn’t notice earlier in the day. He just quickly steps over and quietly shuts the door so the sleeping parents won’t be disturbed by his movement around the nursery as he figures everything out. His eyes search the foreign space, scooping everything out with newfound confusion as his eyebrows crease and his frown deepens.

“Beanie baby, where’re diapers at, do you know sweetheart?” He whispers his question, while moving over to what he assumes is a changing table but could be completely wrong about.

“Dewe Mama, in da dwawews!” Beanie baby states, pointing it out for his mother as Foolish “ah’s” and pulls them open to find his diapers.

He gently lays the baby down on his back and pulls out everything he needs for a diaper change as he prepares himself. Contrary to popular belief, he has actually changed diapers before, multiple actually, and he’s sure not much changes from infants to littles other than things that don’t matter all that much. He makes quick work of unsnapping his sleeper onesie and changing the little’s diaper.

Beanie baby stares up at his mother in wonderment, not expecting him to be so gentle and nice while changing him. It makes him all warm and fuzzy in happiness, shining brightly behind his pacifier and confirming that he wants Foolish to be his mother forever and ever, just like his Baba and Papa. He also wants to keep them forever and to never let them go by any means.

Before he knows it, his onesie is snapped back into place and he’s being pulled up from the changing table back into his mothers arm. His fingers twist tight into his Mama’s shirt as they head on their way, leaving towards the kitchen once more.

“Beanie baby, will you and Klaree be okay for a few minutes in the living room while I go use the bathroom?” Foolish asks, realizing that he needs to go, but also that he needs to fix his clothes.

“Otay Mama.” Bean says, although not happily as he’s placed onto the ground.

Foolish rushes off down the hallway as he goes to fix himself up, leaving Bean alone with his baby chicken and praying that nothing goes wrong within the few minutes they’re apart from each other. Beanie whimpers sadly as he slowly scoots his way in his Mama’s direction, reassured, but still lonely with the chicken.

By the time that Foolish is finished in the bathroom, Bean is waiting outside the door quietly for him, behaving himself. Foolish gasps in surprise when he walks out, before smiling as he scoops the baby up and finally heading into the kitchen to make him a bottle of warm milk so they can head off to bed.

He opens and closes a few cabinets, before finding one filled with sippy cups and baby bottles. He grabs a duck printed baby bottle and places it down on the counter. Beanie baby watches him with wide eyes as he fills it a little over halfway with cold milk and takes it over towards the microwave. Foolish pulls down a different ceramic cup and fills it with a little bit of tap water and places the bottle inside of it to pop inside of the microwave to heat up. He lets the microwave go for one minute, kissing the side of the baby’s face as it spins noisily.

When it beeps loudly, he pulls it out and leaves it to cool. He finds some sugar and vanilla extract to add into the bottle, before stirring it all together and giving it just a little bit more time to cool down so it doesn’t burn the baby’s mouth.

Foolish moves around carefully as he screws the top on and checks the temperature, figuring it was good enough when it doesn’t hurt to touch his wrist.

They settle down onto the couch together. Foolish props a pillow under Bean’s head while leaning him back into a comfortable enough position to drink the bottle from. He lets the baby stretch out across his lap and places the nipple against his mouth while he pulls away his pacifier.

He doesn’t know it, but Bean drinks slower than he normally would as he contently drinks from the bottle and slowly lets his eyes flutter closed. The warmth gives him comfort and lulls him off to a peaceful dreamland.

When it becomes obvious that Bean has fallen asleep and won’t drink more, Foolish pulls the bottle away from his slips and sets it on the coffee table before putting his pacifier back inside his mouth. He adjusts their positions, laying down beside the sleeping baby as the adrenaline wears off and knocks him back with exhaustion. He curls up on his side, burying his face in the baby’s neck and holding him tightly around his waist. Bean’s legs bend over his own, keeping them close together as they finally find peaceful rests and contentfulness in their newly formed relationship.

Perfection has been sprinkled around the room and they’re there to eat it up, but the growing family wouldn’t have it any other way. They all have strong love for their Mama Foolish, and he has strong love for them.
