Chapter Text
The Bird's VTOL and lots of other civilian vehicles crash into a desert planet called Siwr Aldirjayad. It is a planet that many avoid due to its hot climate, they nickname it Siwr Aldir. It was a safe, but not comfortable landing. There were a small few minor injuries but nothing serious. They crashed into a country called Amil, and in an area far from a small city called Al-Ilmwrjayd. Everyone climbs out, and so does the Angry Birds, but they notice someone who stood out, so they went to talk to them. He was looking up at Væruktan with binoculars and said, "Yep, that's my home gone,". They greeted the bird, and introductions over, the bird introduced himself. His name was Andryv Salghrzej, and he said he was from Sâjèlgrēd. He, surprisingly, worked for the Sol Coalition, which is a coalition formed by the Sol system, which is where the Angry Birds were from, which means that Andryv could operate with the Angry Birds.
But there was not much they could do because they have just crashed in the middle of nowhere near Al-Ilmwrjayd, where most of the shops sold (that was helpful in their situation) Amillian street food, the kind where you do not know if it was good for you or bad, and by bad I mean your body straight up says no to it, but is still tasty no matter what. And chilled water, and they only sold prepared food. They walked around, and it was all in Amillian, which was a very hard language to learn and speak. It's like a mix of Arabic and Thai. So Red went around the shops looking for something cold trying to speak Amillian (and failing every time). He got a few useful things from the shops, but not all of them due to his extreme butchering of the sentences. At least they got a few useful things, but that is not all they need. They need parts to repair their vehicles. The Birds asked the locals if they have a mechanic (they did not) and where the nearest city that has a mechanic is (159km away). If they had any useful materials for their vehicles, (they did not), if they had a vehicle that could reach the mechanic quickly (they did not).
Fred contacts the Sol Coalition and asks if they could bring a rescue crew to pick them and the Sâjèlgrēdi citizens up and to somewhere safe. They are on their way, but their ETA is about 4 days, because the ships cannot go into lightspeed and they are quite far away. They have to stay at Al-Ilmwrjayd, which just had enough hotels to hold all of the birds together. The Angry Birds and Andryv could not sleep very well because it was so hot, and sometimes the temperature dropped randomly. Al-Ilmwrjayd was not a very big and popular town, but it was big enough for them to do something half-enjoyable so they were not bored, like the Blues. They said if they had payed more attention to flying, then they would be at home playing their video games.
Day 2, Red was tired the whole day, but had enough energy to walk around Al-Ilmwrjayd again with the Birds. Chuck looked around to find something to eat and drink that was cold. Bomb tried to memorise and speak basic Amillian sentences. Fred read and studied ancient Amillian scripts. Andryv did photography and sketched the landscape. The Blues played on their phones. Bubbles tried traditional Amillian food.
Day 3, Red did some research on Amil with Chuck and Bomb. Fred did more studying, he found it interesting, and he says that the time just flies by when doing it. Andryv rested for most of the day. The Blues' phones ran out of charge, and there were no outlets, so they played board games all day with Bubbles.
Day 4, around midday, the Sol Coalition arrived, with ships almost as big as Al-Ilmwrjayd itself. The rescue crew put the citizens vehicles in their rescue vehicles, as well as the Bird's VTOL. They leave Siwr Aldirjayad, and get back home. It will take a while to get ready to retrieve the eggs after an experience like that...and for Fred to let go of his obsession with ancient Amillian scripts.
