You look around to the north there’s a river with a log that crosses over it, to the south there is a forest with lush green woods.

Where do you go?
-North
-South

Chapter 2: Crossing the river

Notes:

JustALunaTicReader said "Check yourself over for injuries and the like and then go NORTH. Once there you can clean up in the river if necessary."

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

You check your for any injuries. You roll up your sleeves and pant legs and find nothing. After careful consideration you decide to cross the river and see what's on the other side. Before making your departure you pick a single blue flower and place it in your hair. When you reach the river you find that the water is rushing fast. You might be able to tread the waters but it could be quite dangerous. On the other hand there is a fallen tree that crosses the wide river. But with that tree there is chance you can slip and fall into the waters. Then you bash your head into the rocks below. Should you take your chances with the fallen tree bride or simply try to tread the water.

-Tread the water
-Use the fallen tree as a bridge

Notes:

Sorry for not updating, between just felt unmotivated and life getting the way I had trouble writing it. I hope you have fun making your choices!

Chapter 3: Crawling on a log

Notes:

JustALunaticReader said "To reduce the danger of slipping you can crawl over the tree."

Chapter Text

After careful consideration you decide it would be a safer option if you used the log as a bridge. Still to negate the chances of falling off you crawl on the log. As you crawl on the oak log you spot something shimmering in the distance. When you reach the end of the log you plop down on the grass and get up. You start to follow the enticing yellow glow. But as you do you see a path. You squint your eyes just enough to see what looks to be a village. You want to find civilization, but magic glow seems more interesting.

Which do you do?
-Follow the path
-Follow the glow

Chapter 4: Follow the Glow

Notes:

JustALunaTicReader said, “The village will be there later, we have time. The glow, whatever it is, may be vanish forever if we don't go now. Follow the glow!“

Chapter Text

You could always go to this village as you so please, so you decide to follow the glow. But as you follow the glow you begin to notice things about your environment. The trees seemingly have claw marks and some skeletons lay in your path. What seems to confuse you more is that there are no animals around. These claw marks must have been caused by something big, but all you’ve seen is one startled rabbit. Still, you wander on, wanting in on this mysterious glow. After what feels like hours you find the magic glow ends at a cave. Your curiosity gets the better of you and you walk inside the cave. You are rewarded when you find a giant pile of gold. You fill your pockets plenty. You’ll be rich, you think. That's until you hear the huff of a dragon behind you.

What do you do?
-Take the riches you have and run for your life
-Attempt to make peace with the dragon

Chapter 5

Notes:

TheDeadlyMaelstrom said, "You decide to attempt to make peace with the dragon. Slowly, you turn around to face the creature, making sure to keep your movements non-threatening. You drop a few of the gold pieces you had taken, as a gesture of goodwill."

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

After hearing the breath of the dragon you slowly turn around to see what you are facing. A giant red dragon is sitting atop the pile of riches with a fire in its eyes. Riches that you are currently stealing. You think, what is the most non-threatening action you can do right now? So you proceed to drop all the gold that was in your hands and hold them up in the air.

But the dragon doesn’t seem very pleased by your display of surrender. Instead, it responds by roaring loudly in your face. The roar was so powerful it sent a shockwave that knocked you off your feet. After a second of being shocked you realized this was your time to run. You bolt out of the cave, swift on your feet. You feel as if your body is on autopilot as you jump over rouge logs and duck under branches in your path.

You then realize that the dragon probably isn’t chasing you anymore and you should stop running. But as soon as you stop, an arrow is shot through your shoulder. Your body begins to feel numb, and when it finally clicks in your brain that you are an idiot, you pass out.

The world is spinning as you come to your senses. You feel the soft blanket on your skin. You are in someone’s house. And as you sit up you see that they’ve given you new articles of clothing. You see the knob on the door turn. What do you do?

-Panic
-Sit still
-Hide somewhere in the room
-Panic

Notes:
