Chapter Text
Skylar’s POV
My eyes shot open. I stared around me at the white room that seemed to have a constant glow. A figure sat on the other side of the barely there table.
“Uhm… Hullo? Where-“ The figure raised a finger, and I quickly shut up. A moment later, another person appeared next to me. The person looked around in surprise. He had brown hair, gray eyes, and wore a pair of blocky orange-brown glasses.
“Hey, where are we?” He asked. I shrugged. On my other side, someone else appeared. He had messy black hair and emerald green eyes. He too wore glasses. His, however, were round and black. If I was being honest he looked like a mock Harry Potter.
“Eh? Where-“
“Welcome,” The figure finally spoke. “You are in the space between worlds. You are dead. Don’t worry though. For my entertainment, you three will be sent to a new world. You may each pick a single power. Then you will each be placed in a different country. You may now choose your powers.”
“Are meta-powers allowed?” The brunette on my left said.
“Yes.” The figure responded.
“Hey, shouldn’t we introduce ourselves first?” I said.
“Oh yea, that’s a thing. I’m- uh… You can call me Morgan.” The brunette said.
“Most people call me Silver.” The black-haired boy went next.
“You may call me ROB.” Said the figure.
“Well, I’m Skylar,” I said. There was a pause.
“So… Meta-powers are allowed… I want a power that negates other powers that get close to me, and if possible, imitates the powers I’m negating.” Morgan said.
“Very well , ” ROB said.
“I would like to be an Aburame from Naruto, but a sentient plant-like thing instead of bugs.” I said.
“I wanna hack reality like it’s a video game.” Silver said.
“I will see what I can do , ” ROB told him. “Any other questions?” Nobody spoke. “Very well. I wish you luck in your new world.”
“I refuse to believe that.” I thought as everything faded to black.
