It's been hours. He keeps going. Harder, quicker and stronger. His brothers don't know how much longer he can go, his sensei couldn't even stop him. Normally, Leonardo listens to everything that his sensei says, but ever since the defeat of Shredder, Leo has been taking it way too hard on himself.
Splinter has said that all of his sons did wonderfully, but, Leo didn't think so. He did think all three of his brothers did great, but, he didn't think that he gave it his all.
Leo was alone in the training hall, punching the punching bag, swinging his kitanas, practicing punches and kicks, all while letting out groans and yells of anger and frustration.
In the huge living room part of the home, Mikey, Raph and Donnie were all watching t.v. Mikey suddenly piped up. "I'm worried about Leo..." he said. Raph sighed, patting his brother's head. "Same here, little bro. The guy is going nuts." he said. Donnie sighed, closing his eyes a bit. "I have to agree... Ever since Shredder's defeat, Leo has been pushing his body too hard." he said.
Raph and Mikey both nodded. The trio continued to watch t.v. until Mikey piped up again. "Do you think one of us should try and get him too stop?" he asked. Donnie shook his head. "There's no point, Mikey... He's not going to stop until he feels like he's strong enough to beat ANYONE." he said. Mikey sighed quietly, bowing his head. Raph patted his little brother's head. "Don't worry, little brother, I'm sure Leo will stop sooner or later." he tried to reassure. Mikey simply nodded.
Splinter was in his room muttering some kind of enchantment. Next thing his sons knew, a giant portal had opened up in the dojo, spooking Leo a bit, causing him to back up. Splinter exited his room and told his three sons to follow him too the dojo. Raph, Mikey and Donnie all nodded as they walked with their master towards said dojo.
As they entered, a figure had stepped out of the portal, a white rabbit with long ears, a kitana and a knife on his sides and soft black eyes. The bunny smiled and bowed. "My friends, it is wonderful too see you all again." he said. All the turtles smiled at the bunny. "It's good too see you again as well, Usagi-san." said Leo with a soft smile.
Miyamoto Usagi is a white, anthropomorphic rabbit, with a curved scar above his left eye. His ears are tied back with blue material in the shape of the traditional samurai chonmage haircut. He wears a blue kimono, and has his embroidered monshō of his old clan on his chest. That same sign is also carved from wood and attached to his sash. His hakama are navy blue. He also wears white tabi socks with waraji straw sandals. He carries two swords, a traditional katana and wakizashi.
Usagi smiled at Leo, wrapping his arms around Leo in a hug. Leo hugged back, patting Usagi's back gently. Over Leo's shoulder, Usagi glanced at Splinter, nodding softly. Splinter smiled softly, nodding back. The two broke the hug, Usagi patting Leo's shoulder with a sweet smile.
Usagi greeted the other turtles with a smile and bows. Mikey pouted. "Why does Leo get a hug...?" he asked softly. Usagi giggled behind his hand, spreading his arms out. Mikey grinned happily before hugging Usagi a bit tightly. Usagi chuckled softly, patting Mikey's back.
Mikey finally let go, stepping back. Splinter walked over to Usagi, bowing. "It is good too see you, Miyamoto Usagi." he said. Usagi nodded. "It is always a pleasure too be here with all of you." he said. The group left the dojo, walking to the living room. Splinter took Usagi aside and explained too him why he summoned him here to New York.
"It is my oldest son, Leonardo. He is training himself far too hard. He thinks of himself as weak especially after our fight with the Shredder. All of my sons did wonderfully, but Leonardo refuses too believe that he did well." he said with a sigh.
Usagi nodded. "I see. What would you like me to do?" he asked. Splinter thought for a moment. "Find a way to calm him, relax his mind. I apologize for asking for your presence out of nowhere, Usagi. I just thought that since you were good friends with Leonardo, you could help him." he said.
Usagi smiled, shaking his head. "No apology necessary, sensei. I am more than happy to help my friends." he said. The two walked out of the kitchen and back to the boys. Usagi sat beside Leo, intertwining his fingers with Leo's. Leo smiled, holding Usagi's hand back.
Raph, Mikey and Donnie didn't seem to be paying attention too Usagi or Leo, too sucked into the t.v. Splinter entered the room. "Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael. Come make supper for the night, please." he said. Mikey, Raph and Donnie hopped up from the sofa. "Hai, sensei." the three said, walking into the kitchen. Splinter smiled at Usagi, nodding before walking away.
Usagi looked at Leo watching t.v. he could see in the poor turtle's eyes that he was holding a VERY heavy burden. A burden that had a tight hold onto his brain and heart. Usagi scooted closer too Leo, laying his head on Leo's shoulder. Leo jumped a bit, looking at Usagi with a smile, leaning forward and kissing Usagi's head.
Usagi smiled, his eyes closing softly. The two sat on the couch, cuddling close until dinner was ready and Donnie came to get them. He stopped in front of them, seeing that the two had fallen asleep against one another. Donnie smiled, grabbing a blanket and covering them up before walking back into the kitchen.
Raph blinked. "Are they coming?" he asked. Donnie shrugged. "They fell asleep, and... I didn't want to wake them." he said. Splinter nodded. "Alright, that is fair. Leo needs his rest." he said. Raph, Mikey and Donnie all agreed as they ate dinner.
After dinner, Donnie put away the rest of the food, wrapping some food for Usagi and Leo, putting it in the fridge. Donnie, Raph and Mikey had went to bed, making the whole lair go quiet. Usagi's left eye opened slowly as he looked up at a sleeping Leo. He smiled softly as he slowly and carefully moved away from him.
Leo groaned quietly, continuing to sleep, his head against the couch cushion. Usagi scanned Leo, noticing that his breathing was a little heavy and his heart beat was going rather quick. Usagi swung his legs on either side of Leo, taking a seat onto his lap, slowly, leaning up to be face to face with him.
Usagi softly whispered to Leo. "It is okay not to be okay, Leonardo-san... But, please, do not push yourself past your limits. If only you could see what you have been doing to yourself. You're wasting your energy and hurting yourself. Your brothers, your father and myself do not like that this is happening, and wish for it to stop, but, I do know that that is up to you too decide, but in my heart, I hope you do stop this and realize how amazing you already are."
These words seem to calm Leo down a bit, his breathing going back to normal, and his heart beat slowing down. A small, pink blush was forming across his cheeks however. Usagi did notice this, but, thought nothing of it, he simply continued with his kind words.

"How are you?" Usagi asked. Leo smiled softly, kissing Usagi sweetly. "I'm fantastic, how about you?" he asked. Usagi smiled, running his hand down Leo's face. "Amazing.~" he said with a giggle. The two cuddled against one another. A few minutes of quiet go by and Usagi finally spoke up. "Did I relax you?" he asked.
Leo blinked. "Huh?" he asked. Usagi kisses Leo under his chin. "That's the whole reason why your sensei called me here. To calm you down and too relax your mind." he said. Leo nodded, understanding. "I see. Well... I guess I can't deny that I have been a bit wound up... But, I promise you that I'm okay now, thanks too you." he said with a smile.
Usagi smiled, nodding softly. "My mission is complete then.~" he giggled. Leo frowned. "Are you leaving...?" he asked. Usagi shook his head quickly. "No no! I'll never leave you unless you want me to, Leo." he said as he hugged Leo close. Leo hugged back, sighing in relief. "Okay, please don't leave tonight, I could really use the cuddles." he chuckled.
Usagi giggled softly. "As you wish, my ninja.~" he said as he snuggled into Leo's plastron. Leo cuddled Usagi back, laying back down onto the bed and into the blanket. The two fall asleep, both breathing quietly as nothing but silence filled the underground lair.
Leo's mind was still fuzzy and running, but not as quick as it was before Usagi came. Thanks to Usagi, Leo was now on the path towards healing, he was walking down a long path that will soon split into two ways; One will lead him down the path of healing, family, friends and a new lover. The other will lead him down the path of loneliness, hurt and self hate and doubt.
Which ever path Leo chose, is his decision, but... At least six to seven people hope he chooses the path of healing and not loner, but in the end, It's his choice. His mind is calm now that he is with the possible love of his life, but tomorrow is another day, and his mind might go straight back to spinning when he woke up, but, we all know that Usagi will do whatever he can to make sure that Leo doesn't lose himself, It's his sworn duty to himself, no one else, not even Splinter, that was just how much Usagi had fallen for Leo.~ End.
