Unknown location. Unknown creatures

Summary:

This is my first ever book. I’m not sure where this is going. But so far in my story you have woken up in an unknown location. A black void with no evidential paths. You walk around endlessly for hours until you see something out of the ordinary. Or someone

[DISCONTINUED]

Notes:

My first ever story. I suck at this and highly doubt this will reach anywhere 😂. If you find this I hope you enjoy and I have no posting patters this is purely for fun and to get rid of by boredom

Chapter 1: The void

Chapter Text

Nothing. What a simple word. But the perfect one to explain your own surroundings. There wasn’t a single speck of dust; not 1 sound of the winter wind that you remember walking through just yesterday and not even a beam of light to guide your dark endless path. You were completely wrapped in a bare blanket of black, quite similar to a starless night sky. Only with no clouds. No moon. And no walk way to stroll along unlike so many nights you have been outside to admire the beauty of the midnights blessing. You walking onwards, backwards, up, down…you weren’t sure but your legs continued  down the non existent path, carrying you through the black void. There was no way to track the time, leaving you to wonder on how long you had been here. But despite your guess of around an hours time, your body never grew tired or slow. It didn’t feel as if you were going to drop to the floor unlike any of your sleepless midnight walks under the stars, unlike in your unknown location, or as if your throat was going to freeze shut from normal glacial air of your home. In fact there didn’t seem to be a set temperature here. It wasn’t warm but it wasn’t cold. You didn’t feel all hot and bothered like a suffocating summers day that evaporates ice cubes in seconds or the numbness of your bones from the hellish blizzards, which create inches of snow form around you. What a strange place indeed.

Chapter 2: Over in the distance

Summary:

You get fed up of walking around for goodness knows how long. But wait what’s that over there ?

Notes:

Thank you so much for noticing the first chapter of my book. I honestly wasn’t expecting anything for a few weeks or even months 😅. Still tho ! It appreciated and im excited to post new chapters

Chapter Text

3 hours had passed. Or so you thought, you really struggled with keeping up with time despite how you always panicked to be late for meetings or for hang out with old friends. Fed up with the ridiculous amount of walking your legs have had to go though, despite not feeling the fatigue, the idea of sitting down sounded very appealing. So you sat down on whatever invisible force that could be keeping you from falling possible, once again taking in you endless environment. Or whatever there was to take In.

This place wasn’t a dream, it’s own presence felt real enough and any attempts to “wake up” failed.

You laid down on the unseen floor and closed your eyes, taking in a deep breath, and releasing. You did this for another 5 or 6 minutes. Keeping track of time was not one of your strengths and probably the main reason why you overestimated how much time you had on your school exams, usually ending with you in a panic trying to finish the last 5 questions. Nonetheless your grades were decent. You did well in maths considering you moved up a set not to long ago; your English wasn’t great but was pretty average in your class; science was—ah you don’t want to think about school at the moment. It was the start of summer break and lessons was the last thing supposed to be on your mind. You reopened your eyes an sat up in a slouched position, exhaling an exaggerated huff and tapping your hands on your crossed legs.

Something caught your eye and you spun your head to the side a bit to quickly. Blue and black spots clouded your vision and your head felt like a ball of lead was rolling around your brain. Once your vision cleared, the object was gone. To quick to make out what it even was. Again it appeared in your peripheral vision to the right. But just like the last attempt it vanished before you could make out what it was. Or maybe even who ?

Chapter 3: Update

Summary:

Just an update

Chapter Text

Hi so I will probably update tonight or tomorrow. Honestly Ik I said that this doesn’t have a schedule but I am trying to make one 😂

Chapter 4: why is this here. What do I do with it ?

Summary:

Hopes and distraction lead the way !

Notes:

Ngl this was a bit rushed. And I ain’t great with story progress. But the story must go on

Chapter Text

Here we are again. Standing and walking. Your curiosity about the unknown……uhhhhhh…..thing had disappeared after finally coming to the conclusion that you were never going to find it. So we’re back at square one, in an endless void, not a clue what to do.
ARGH
Great now you’ve fallen over, again, on your own two feet. You really need to become less clumsy. Sure being careless was—wait you didn’t trip over your feet it was. A pencil ?!

Wow actual garbage
You pick up the plain boring red pencil and stared at it, probably with a look of unnecessary anger for the innocent object just harmlessly laying there. You can’t really blame a pencil for your own clumsy feet can you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Perhaps it was a sign ! That you were a destined artist that would change the world and that this was all some weird dream.Perhaps you would be the next Picasso ! Okay now you were getting ridiculous, you were decent at art but not that amazing….if you found Picasso amazing. You lightly examined the item in you hand, twisting it, flipping it, shaking it between your middle and index finger, hoping for what ever random coincidence to happen. alas. Nothing happened. just a pencil.

But you still have that paranoid feeling in the pack of your head and in you gut. The feeling you get when you’re not used to something or something is out of the ordinary. When someone is watching you. You un blurred your eyes from your space out of anxiety and tucked your pencil into your PJ pocket. You’ve never been more grateful for pockets in your entire life. There so useful ! Slightly put down you raised your head from the direction of the floor. For a much better surprise and a huge wave of relief.
