Okay so this is gonna be mostly about these 3: Slingshot, Boombox, and Sword

since I’m a new Phighting player- and a mobile user too but unrelated, I havent used many for more than 1 round but these 3 I used atleast for 2.

except Boombox- but he’s just cool design

Actually scratch that its gonna be a bit even? Bit not idfk

anyways ok here I go with a short prompt

Boombox wakes up next to Skateboard on the ground, Zuka’s infront of them and is all like: ‘yall real aggressive omg you knocked eachother out’ 

Oh yeah theres some variations of the story I made up- Me as Boombox and Skateboard as himself, or me as boombox and skateboard as my friend- but the one that I’ll rant about rn is the one where I’m spectating; they’re their own person

Zuka lets them go after a bit of old man scolding, and they find a vent- the thing that usually initiates the hero mode for Splatoon. Guess what they do.

Boombox and Skateboard go: ‘fuck it’ and jump in there, to which they find Valk and Dom. Valk’s startled and then the first boss happens early

The bosses would be like this: you dodge and then at the end of each song you go and hit them dramatically. Or atleast thats what I imagine because I like things ending on time

So they’re attacked, then Boombox sneaks behind them (song is Nasty Majesty octo expansion) and knocks out Dom ((not really he’s just near unconsciousness))

Valk is like: ‘oh crap’ and phase 2 begins; not sure on the song but probably gonna be Candy-Coated Rocks

Then Skateboard takes out Valk, thus the two admit defeat… except VALK DOESN’T-

Valk is all like: ‘yo why r u here’ and then

Boombox laughs nervously: ‘haha uhhhhhhh- ‘

so Skateboard explains why. Valk slaps Skateboard and Boombox harder than the Overtime song slaps in; ‘morons’

But like they’re allowed to stay

(Dom is feeling better and insists that the two idols, him and Valk, make sure Skateboard and Boombox don’t die- so the idiot duo have cameras on them and walkie-talkies to instruct, or whatever the hell Marina and Pearl have)

So, Skateboard and Boombox explore. Enemies are just robots that act like the octotroopers (even octolings sometimes) of Splatoon, and they go through a few levels

Now let me tell you something.

Boombox is in a secret evil organization, who made these robots- he’s the founder’s right hand man. The founder, I haven’t decided on yet- right now he wears a black cloak with purple highlights and is strong.

Skateboard, Valk, and Dom don’t know about this- nobody but the people who are in do.

People who are in the organization; Boombox, Founder, Slingshot, and eventually Sword but you’ll see that in a min- oh yeah and Valk joins later too 

Boombox suddenly disappears at the start of Stage 2, and Valk is terrified that he died.

Dom and Valk are checking anything- they even set up a damn tracker beforehand, but it didn’t work.

So Dom guides Skateboard as Valk has a mental breakdown/hj

So yeah, Skateboard meets a group. Biograft, Medkit, and Sword. Turns out that Boombox just went with them to play the music

 3 phases. First Phase is Biograft- who’s shut down, song is ‘Shark Bytes’. Second Phase is Medkit who gives up due to a lack of stamina; song is ‘Chururira Chururira Dadada!’. Third Phase is Sword, woah, who’s song is: ‘Suck It Up’ because I forgot what I gave him.

Sword is knocked unconscious, and then…

BOOM- Mysterious Cloak Guy who I’ll call Founder, and Slingshot, appear side 2 side. Boombox does a sick little exit out of his hiding spot he had inside of the cube-shaped machine he was in during the fight, picks up Sword and slings him over his shoulder, then goes to Founder.

Medkit is like: ‘ DON’T YOU DARE- ‘ but-

Whoop haha Medkit dismissed, Founder teleports the now-group-of-4 to the ‘hideout’, which is a full ahh castle bts

So Valk is trying to process what’s happened, Dom is shocked, Medkit is livid at Founder even if he found Boombox annoying, Skateboard’s surprised but determined to save Sword, and Biograft is existing.

Thus cue Stage 3- same thing but harder.

The boss is Slingshot this time: who’s doing his usual :3 thing while being evil. Song is VENOM (japanese song not m&m, og version).

But, once the hit is hitten, theres a phase 2… with the overtime music. Valk even did the scream. It gave Slingshot a significant increase in strength, intelligence, and speed.

He’s still defeated tho, and is taken away by Founder- who came alone and left quickly.

Don’t worry nothing bad happened to Slingshot- if anything he was praised for ‘whatever the hell the Overtime was’

Anyways here’s Founder’s plan.

He thinks theres too many people in the world and so he’s gonna kill everyone except his friends- which he had none.

So he picked some people he found cool, but was only able to recruit Boombox and Slingshot. He was fine with most denials, but Sword was part of his plan and was one of the people Founder thought was cool.

Sword has ‘bloodlust’ according to Founder- basically what Slingshot showed but amplified… and at all times. He needed that, he needed Sword to go and kill people to cause a mass panic- then he’ll have Slingshot send out the bomb. Boombox is gonna play cool music while it happens.

So yeah.

ANYWAYS Sword’s gotten slightly more comfortable with the situation, but he doesn’t understand what Founder means by bloodlust.

OKAY, stage 4 I haven’t decided on yet.

I only have one idea; Valk goes missing… he’s the next one recruited. How he fits in the plan;

Boombox will play music, Valk will sing to it.

Sadly (to Founder atleast), Valk is hostile. They had to chain him up to prevent him from killing everyone in the organization. (Sword remarked; ‘You sure he isnt the one with bloodlust?’ Founder’s still sure, but he’ll consider making Valk kill AND sing. ) 

Dom’s saddened, but is like: ‘okay so you REALLY have to try hard I want him back I miss him’
Skateboard does try harder

Boss of Stage 4: Boombox. Song; Spider Dance, Shirobon Remix (i love jsab and undertale and was so excited upon seeing that boss)

No Phase 2, (quick and difficult phase 1) Boombox only notes: ‘Only a matter of time until Valk calms down, only a matter of time until we can finally end this world and start anew.’ before leaving

Meanwhile; Rocket’s been observing from afar and he’s created a team. That consists of everyone not yet mentioned in the story (all playable characters)

So; Rocket, Hyperlaser, Subspace- oh I did a good job at including characters. Anymore I missed? Just tell me

oh right

Evil Team Name(with Founder); Fidelia. Meaning; Loyalty. All Founder wants are friends who wont leave him… well, even if they try to- lookin at Valk here- they can’t once the world’s gone.

Good Team Name( i hate saying good n bad but with Rocket); RADAR. Rocket thinks it sounds cool, but is trying to find a way to make it initials.

And yeah- uh- will add more later im gettjng tired if you read through all of this HOW- anyways bye drink water

Boombox: I've never encountered a problem that can't be solved by an spontaneous musical number.

( Was torn between Valk and Boombox for this )

Founder: I do two things and two things only. I devastate sorry motherfuckers, and get shit done as an awesome leader.

Valk: I'm so tired of this life. I want to be a roomba. I want knives taped to me. And I want to be set loose.

( is it idol burnout or is it kidnap hatred )

Slingshot: My favorite outdoor activity is going back inside.

Founder: Sometimes I get so caught up on being gay that I forget I’m actually bi. 
(Made that up just now)

( Slingshot in whatever fight )

Slingshot: STOP!
*Everyone stops*
Slingshot: wAiT a MiNuTe-

Sword: You seem familiar... have I threatened you before?

( considering a rp i did today this makes sense )

Slingshot: I came out here to attack people and I'm honestly having such a good time right now.

Boombox: Next time I'm at the pet store, I'm gonna take a hamster and drop it in the scorpion cage. I wanna see what a hamster's face looks like when it goes, "oh, fuck."

Sword: Arson? Oh, you mean "crime brûlée".

( Founder, referring to Sword and Valk )

Founder: Does anyone know how to relax? Asking for a friend.

Valk: I think I mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apart.

Slingshot: My life isn't as glamourous as my wanted poster makes it look.

Founder: Not to be nsfw but I want someone to hold me while I sleep.

( god am I making the one who was meant to be an ACTUAL villain, a touch starved idiot? )

Skateboard and Boombox wake up.

Skateboard: … oh HEY BI-

Zuka glares at Skateboard.

Zuka: You shouldn’t continue your fight after the first- you two went pretty tough on each other. Also, don’t swear.

Boombox: We went unconscious?

Zuka: Yep, more than just being defeated. You  two should probably lay low on battles for a bit to recover.

Skateboard: Really? Ughhhh…

Zuka: Be more careful next time. 

Boombox: But that’s-

Zuka: No buts, you two’re taking a break. End of discussion, cya when you’re better.

Zuka waves them off; and so Boombox n Skateboard leave.

But they find the vent.

Boombox: … Skateboard, that is an awfully funny vent.

Skateboard: True… but. Maybe we shouldn’t go in the vent, Zuka told us to rest.

Boombox: But… but the vent is-

Skateboard: Good enough, let’s go.

The two hop in.

After a rough landing, they see Valk and Dom staring at them- Dom with confusion and Valk with annoyance. Both also seemed to be startled… hey whats Valk and Dom’s band name?—

Valk: HEY HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE??

But, not waiting for an answer, he began summoning lasers. Dom was a bit startled, but did the same.

Okay not lasers- more like big blasts, imagine those thick pink columns in JSAB levels but white and in 3D. 
Except not fully white; Valk’s were a bit yellow and Dom’s were a bit purple; Valk’s being a bit less thick but faster, Dom’s being more thick but slower.

Boombox: holy crap what-

Skateboard: Way too OP. I want that!

So yeah- Nasty Majesty; lasers go in the tempo of it. It has a kind of slow tempo, so it’s easier.

The song ends; and Skateboard- despite Valk and Dom being on a big metal block for whatever reason (mildly resembling the frye boss battle but with 2 people), Skateboard managed to jump up high enough (sword jealous fr) and hit Dom.

Valk: WHA- Dom, you alright?

Dom: … mostly.

Valk: Uhh- Okay, I’ll do this one alone don’t worry, PHASE TWO!

Thus cue Phase 2- much faster because it’s Candy Coated Rocks. (Valk does most attacks; but Dom also sends in his blasts occasionally- focusing his energy on singing)

If you read my braindumb, you’d know that Boombox is with Founder- the ‘evil’ team. In on that later.

This time; Boombox jumps up at the end of the song and whacks Valk with his boombox.

Valk; Owwwwwww—..

Dom; I suppose we should, um, what was it?…

Valk; Apologize.

Dom; Yeah; I suppose we should apologize.

Skateboard; No, you’re fine- that was sick as hell.

Valk;  By the way; why’re you here in the first place? Didn’t Zuka tell you two to lay low?

Boombox; … skateboard- 

Skateboard; Hell no, I’m not explaining it—… fine.

*silence*

Valk; Well?

Skateboard; So yeah he told us to lay low, but, um… Boombox found a vent- the vent we came in from- and said it was a ‘funny’ vent. I tried to say we shouldn’t enter-

Boombox; But after I proceeded to say something, I think it was; ‘But the vent-‘ or something like that, he agreed without letting me finish and we jumped in.

Silence.

And then two people were slapped.

Okay uhh

Founder, who after I realized looks too much like Dom, now has a white cloak with green tips and a mask that looks like the Drama symbol but red-white

Slingshot has some level of anxiety; getting worse after he went psycho mode.

Sword’s bloodlust Founder’s talking about is his relentlessness in battles; Zuka had to talk about it with him once.

Rocket wanted to join Founder at first, but his dad, Zuka, wouldn’t let him so he didn’t- and instead formed an alliance against Founder… well, apparently. I might swap out Boombox from at some point Rocket to join Fidelia. Zuka would not be hapy.

Katana is also in RADAR.

Valk is a theatre kid.

By the way; do you, one person that reads this, wanna see the AU where I take the role of any character? Or a role swap (ex; Rocket swaps with Sword so Rocket has bloodlust and Sword wanted to join but Zuka wouldn’t let him )

Shuriken: He’ll be like an anonymous watcher from afar- haha watcher, @dreamland participants- because I’ve been listening to Sleeping Giants by The Crane Wives. Haven’t decided who he sides with

Katana: One of the two newer phighters I simp for, shhh DONT ask why- he’ll probably join RADAR to help… a certain someone. (Rocket- dont ship the two I will die on Swocket but yeah)

Vine Staff: OKG BINESTADD BINE STACC VINE STAFF MY BELIVED <333 She’d join RADAR.

Also, non used characters- aka ones with no team-

Medkit: RADAR.

Biograft will be with Subspace.

Changed:

Biograft and Subspace are now in Fidelia, after Rocket was.. changed.

Anyways!

An amazing commenter gave me a great idea.

So at some point, Sword goes “FUCK YOU” and leaves— leaving Founder to be like: ‘oh crap I need a new guy..’

Then Founder learned about mind control!

He’s been struggling against RADAR for a while… so why not take their leader?

Yeah- Rocket ended up getting mind controlled; now a member of Fidelia.

Valk is heavily upset by this, seeing as he wanted RADAR to win-… but how could they, like this?

with Skate and Dom… the two I’ve been sleeping on…

Dom’s been giving Skateboard updates on RADAR- and some on Fidelia, If he found any atleast.

And neither of them were happy to find out Rocket was gone-… but they had sword back!

but… Rocket was the leader of Radar.

What the hell are they gonna do now?

Cue the new members of RADAR. Vine Staff and Katana.
The two had found some… useful info.

They learned that Fidelia had bases within different ‘areas’ (like the splatoon hero mode stages).

And they learned where those bases were.

Katana realized, though, that RADAR couldn’t help anymore with Rocket having joined Fidelia for… unknown reasons.. Zuka was extra pissed at Rocket.

(They hadn’t known what truly happened.. the mind control.)

So he seeked out Skateboard and Dom.

Skateboard forced Dom to write down the information, and from there on…

(Note: all these bases are late game, and can be done at any order except the one with Rocket. And Slingshot has to be beaten before Boombox is fought)

Base 1: Slingshot. He wasn’t exactly trying…

Skateboard was sad. Why did Slingshot choose Fidelia?… And why wasn’t he trying?!

Skateboard demanded a rematch. Slingshot agreed.

NOW it was a close match- but Skateboard won.

Asking… ‘why?’

Slingshot paused… ‘because-… h… Best ask someone whos been in here for less time.’

Been here for less time… BIOGRAFTANDSUBSPACE!!-

Base 2: Biograft and Subspace.

Skateboard, again, barely won- and then decided to ask Subspace why he switched.

”Why did you join Fidelia?” Skate asked, head turning to Subspace.

Subspace blinked, then getting his composure. “Ah-.. everyone has different reasons, so if you’re looking for one big reason I’m afraid that isn’t possible. But… I joined to get away from Blackrock.”

Skate’s eyes widened a bit- then nodding. “So, wanna join Radar?”

”Isn’t-… Isn’t Medkit there? I thought it was common knowledge he isn’t.. the biggest fan of me.”

Skate paused- then nodding. “Well, he doesn’t hate you AS much…”

”Fine, then.”

Base 3:

Boombox!!!

Boombox seems to have become more… melee.

Skate struggled to adjust to this new Boombox.. and lost.

Or, Would have lost—

If a pellet, no- multiple pellets- didnt suddenly begin flying at Boombox.

Startled, the previously-support was knocked down.

And then, lost to Slingshot.

Slingshot asked the question, this time. “Soooo, Boomboy? Why did you join Fidelia? “

Boombox frowned. “Why did you leave Fidelia, first?”

”I was beaten. You?”

Boombox paused- similar to how Slingshot did. ”… Bribery. I was bribed.. or manipulated?- One of those.”

”god damn-… So are you gonna join Radar?” Sling continued.

The loud, short, male nodded.

Base 4: 

Shuriken?…

Shuriken.

Shuriken- but he was way different. 

Everyone, not even just Vine Staff, could tell.

He was too quiet, too… cold.

They fought, and it seemed Shuriken had a new phighting style. Requiring agility.

Eventually, Skateboard was victorious.

”Yes!-… Um… right- so why did you join the-… Fidelia?” Skateboard asked.

Glaring at the melee phighter, Shuriken was silent for a moment- before sighing. “Overpopulation in Radar.. a lot of people were joining it.”

Skateboard knew that wasn’t all. “And?”

”…… “ Shuriken was silent.. hesitating. He spoke finally, after a moments hesitation.

“forced..” He muttered. 

Knowing Shuriken didn’t like this topic, Skateboard decided to ask the same question- of joining Radar.

Shuriken quickly agreed.

Base 5: 

I think there aren’t any more Fidelia members, if they are lmk and I’ll give them their bases.

By the way. Zuka is part of RADAR NOT FIFELIA FIDELAI AJAIAAAA. if you forgot.

Katana was certain this was the final base, so all of them entered together- all the people in RADAR. Some just went from a distance, choosing to jump in if needed.

The main three that you could see, of RADAR and also the main 2-

Dom, Skate, and Zuka- who knew his kid was gonna be here, so yeah.

They seemed to be in an empty auditorium… an auditorium similar to those of what Greek plays had- as in size. There was no audience, and the stage was… huge.

But instead of being met with Rocket like expected… Founder came, instead.

To his side was… fucking Broker- with that same grin as always. 

“Helloooo! Hello, hello- Dom, Skateboard, and Zu-.. Zuka!..” Broker was saying all names happily, but his voice faltered when noticing Zuka.

Zuka didn’t notice that. “Where is my son-… and Broker?? Why are you here?!”

”I joined Fidelia. Founder’s got a sore throat, sooo… I’ll be speaking for him! Anyways, you wanna see Rocket?…” Broker’s smile was a bit tighter, as if nervous.

Skateboard didn’t like this. “What’d you do to him?!”

Broker sweated a bit. “No- Not just me!- and… “ He wasn’t sure how to say whatever it was.

Dom: “Just show him to us..”

Broker’s breath halted a bit. “A-are you…”

Broker suddenly gained his composure, however not smiling. “Are you absolutely sure you want to see him?”

Zuka nodded.

Broker rushed ‘backstage’- behind the big wall, through a door..

All lights went off. 

A purple glow emitted from the large door that led backstage…

Out coming-

Rocket.

But… it wasn’t him.

That wasn’t Rocket.

Rocket didn’t have such a weak smile. Rocket never wore those goggles. 

He would never join RADAR.

Founder laughed. “ahaha- Wait.. forgot I’m supposed to have my voice gone- whatever, that was a lie anyways. This is Rocket!~ Your beautiful baby boy, Zuka.”

Zuka’s eyes were wide… what-… 

Broker spoke. “I’ll assume you’re a bit confused… so, yes, Rocket was mind controlled. And yes, the goggles are what’s doing it. But… you got what you asked for- saw Rocket! So… “

Skateboard’s teeth clenched- pissed. What the fuck?!

Dom knew what had to be done.

But Skateboard couldn’t do it…

and he couldn’t either.

Zuka had to. He was good with Rocket- being his dad…

but with only one person, was that even possible?
To convince Rocket?

Dom asked Zuka something. “Hey, this may seem like weird timing.. isn’t Rocket dating Sword?”

Zuka shook his head. “Still in denial.”

Rocket frowned… already in full combat with Skateboard. “Hey- it isn’t denial— we aren’t dating, or in love!”

Dom nodded…

wait-

Maybe it was possible. 

Rocket was… otherwise kind of normal? 
sorta.

In a hushed tone, Dom asked Zuka-…

If he could try and help Rocket. Save Rocket, rather.

Skateboard had moved onto trying to fight Broker— who was surprisingly agile.

But that isn’t important.

Rocket was reloading his launcher, when suddenly it was gently taken out his hands.

Rocket looked up, about to curse someone out- “Who the fuck are y-…”

The Ranged Phighter, the one that’s gay for Sword, paused… it was his d- Zuka.

Zuka had never felt so tense talking to Rocket… so he relaxed himself a bit- smiling, at what he was going to do. “Didn’t I teach you to not swear? What happened to that?”

Rocket paused, stiffening- like a deer in headlights.. but why? Why didn’t he- why couldn’t he just shoot off Zuka’s head? What happened with that? Why was he.. nervous?—

“Rocket. Look at me- without the goggles.” Zuka said… trying to trick Rocket.

Rocket almost took them off, because who was he to disrespect his dad?- But then he stopped himself. “Son of a bitch—“ He muttered.

Zuka laughed a bit, knowing that wouldn’t have worked.

Rocket jumped up, firing at Zuka- and suddenly it was incredibly tense.

Zuka ran to dodge the attack, barely dodging it. 
Rocket kept firing.

Zuka was going to crack a joke about being old, but he knew this wasn’t the right time.

Rocket was constantly firing- every chance he got, he did.

Zuka was given a weapon beforehand- Katana’s.. well, his katana.

It wasn’t what he was used to, but he managed to get a few hits on Rocket regardless.

Zuka then… was knocked back- hit in his chest. He was knocked back, on the floor.

Before being able to get up, Rocket- holding the launcher up— approached Zuka. Slowly… without any smile at all.

Zuka was certain he was going to die… without being able to save his child- his son.

Rocket aimed the launcher at Zuka’s head…

but was pulled back.

By-

By freaking Broker.

Broker smiled. “Rockettt! That’s your dad, dont you remember?”

Rocket stiffened, already annoyed. “Yes I remember!-“

”Don’t kill him, then! Wasn’t he the one that cared for you??”

Zuka was confused.. what was Broker doing? He was a part of Fidelia.. unless he wanted to leave too?

He glanced away- Skateboard was phighting Founder. And losing, due to Founder’s powers.

Back to Zuka’s son and previous business partner..

Rocket was seemingly mad with Broker- as Broker was something along the lines of teasing him.

Standing up, Zuka slowly approached Rocket from behind..

he was never so nervous.

Broker noticed Zuka, but said nothing about him- only continuing his ‘conversation’ with Rocket.

Zuka got to a range where he was close enough to..

and pulled the damned goggles off.

Rocket paused in his speaking, blinking. “… wait, huh?-.. “

Rocket glanced somewhere-.. where the other phight was happening. “Okay- um- Sentimental moments later, sorry gotta go!”

Rocket  jumped up, using his Rocket launcher to boost himself to Founder- where he’d make it a 2 v 1.

Founder was now at a loss for what to do- attacks becoming frantic.

Founder then paused.. summoning a barrier around himself that would prevent any RADAR members from entering. Only Fidelia members allowed, actually.

so both Skateboard and Rocket were pushed back… and since Broker ‘betrayed’ Fidelia- he wasn’t allowed either.

Dom was scared.. was this it? 

It was-.. well…

It would have been.

If not for a certain Fidelia member suddenly dropping down through the barrier- kicking Founder in the nuts due to having no weapon.

Valk.. it was Valk.

From inside the barrier, Founder couldn’t fight- he relied on his magic, and either had to drop the barrier or keep it up and stay still. He chose the second option in his panic.. a bad idea.

Valk continued to beat up Founder, then flipping the man off as he was rendered unconscious. (I’m getting lazy AAA)

The barrier was put down, and Valk smiled. 

Throwing Founder against the wall.
