Cana loved being barefoot. She loved drinking beer. She loved laughing at nothing in particular, and teasing Erza Scarlet to see if the woman could match the color of her namesake. And she loved Fairy Tail.

Now, everyone who wasn't in the guild that then decided to enter the guild always assumed it was a pigsty. Nobody helped each other, and they were always fighting. But there was a reason it had been the one of the top guilds for such a long time.

It wasn't because the members completed a majority of the S-ranked and above quests, or that six of their members had completed a Hundred-Year Quest. It was because of the people.

Fairy Tail was a family, and no matter how much true family faught, they always loved and supported each other.

Of course, being in a guild like Fairy Tail was also quite stressful. It made the arches of Cana's ever-bare feet ache with pain, so that she had to hug a barrel until it went away. So when Natsu accidently destroyed one of her favorite stress-relieving barrels, she was most certainly going to take advantage of his guilt and let out her frustrations.

"Sorry Cana," Natsu said, grimacing at the mess of beer that Mira was mopping up.

"Is there any way I can repay you?" Cana thought about the terrible throbbing that had been there ever since she stubbed her toe on a discarded piece of armor earlier that day. She thought about the stress sending shivers of pain through her ankles whenever she walked.

"Yes actually," She grinned.

"I could do with a foot rub." Natsu scrunched up his nose, but seeing that her soles weren't really dirty or gross, he shrugged.

"Sounds fair." Cana quirked a brow in surprise, but easily relinquished her feet to the dragon slayer, legs hanging over the bar counter as the chaos of Fairy Tail ensued around them.

Natsu started with her heels, pushing his thumbs harder there since they had thicker skin. Cana thought it wouldn't be too bad to let him continue, so she relaxed, using a spare barrel to prop herself up against and close her eyes.

Her eyelids flickered when Natsu unexpectedly warmed his palms, moving on to work out the knots in the arches of her feet. She clamped her jaw to keep from moaning in pleasure. She felt like lizard under the sun, heated to her bones, and turning to liquid in Natsu's fingers.

The Fire Mage moved to the balls of her feet, still warm, and began rubbing in sweet, tantalizing circles. Cana pushed one hand under her so she could clench it tight and keep from showing her reactions. Who knew Natsu could be gentle?

Next, he moved to smooth over each toe individually, turning them between his fingers. She felt the pain fade away as she melted, again taking great effort in making her features impassive.

Natsu at last took her ankles in hand, reaching to draw out all the aches from her body, and make her wish she didn't ever have to move again. Her lips twitched, as a content smile tried to make it onto her face, but she held it down. Then, again, achieving the impossible, she resisted making any noises of protest when Natsu finally pulled away, finished.

She cracked open her eyelids, but didn't move, as the complete relaxation she felt wouldn't let her.

"I suppose that'll do." She congratulated herself when her voice didn't crack, and met Natsu's gaze. Only to see that he was smirking, wide and sure, like he knew perfectly well she was hoping he'd destroy more of her barrels in the future. Cana sighed, wondering when she'd be able to move again, but not minding if that time never came.
