On a bright and sunny day at Sweet Apple Acres the Cutie Mark Crusaders were laughing and having a good time, but everything was about to turn dark and gray.
"Granny... p-please don't go!" Applejack said while crying over Granny Smith. Big Macintosh butted in
"come on sis, let's go tell Apple Bloom what's happened." The Cutie Mark Crusaders herd this and and didn't say anything until Apple Bloom burst out crying
"What will happen to sweet apple acres? Now that Granny Smith is gone and after the funeral we won't have enough money to keep the farm!" sweetie belle and scootaloo only comforted apple bloom. In that exact moment sweetie belle yelled out
"Scootaloo, Look at your flank you got your cutie mark!" scootaloo jumped with joy and screamed
"Yeah, I got to go show Rainbow dash!" .
"Rainbow Dash, Hey Rainbow Dash where are you?" Scootaloo said anxiously
"What do ya need squirt?" Rainbow Dash said hopping down from a nearby cloud
"I got my cutie mark, look!" Scootaloo said. Rainbow Dash was amazed at the sight of it
"OMG OMG OMG, it is so cool!" said the light blue pony
"I know, i never thought that heart with wings would be my cutie mark." scootaloo said.
Chapter 2: The Legend of Princess Silver Frost Part 1

After that the cutie mark crusaders went to show everyone else scootaloos cutie mark. After showing Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie they went to show Twilight and to find out what it ment, but sadly twilight was visiting zecora in the Everfree Forest.
"lets just wait and read some books while we wait for twilight." sweetie belle said "ok." apple bloom and scootaloo said. About 2 hours had past and the cutie mark crusaders had read almost the whole library when twilight walked in with spike on her back
"what are you 3 doing here?" twilight asked looking a little suprised.
scootaloo spoke up almost instantly "We just wanted to show you my new cutie mark."
then sweetie belle chimed in "and we wanted to try and figure out what it ment."
"well, lets see if i have something on your cutiemark." twilight said turning to spike "spike, go get me the copy of Cutie Marks Through History, please"
"I'm on it!" spike said running to the section of the library with the books that start with "C" in it.
Chapter 3: The Legend of Princess Silver Frost Part 2

"Here you go twilight." spike said handing her the book with princess celestia's cutie mark on it."why is princess celestia's cutie mark on the front of the book?" apple bloom asked with her head cocked to the side "princess celestia has her cutie mark on the front of the book because she was the one who saved us from not only discord with princess luna many years ago, but she also save all of equestria from the wrath of nightmare moon who turned out to be princess luna." twilight said "thats cool and all but can we figure out what my cutie mark means now, please?" scootaloo said "sure." twilight said opening the book "ok, so let me see your cutie mark scootaloo." twilight said "ok." scootaloo said.When scootaloo turned to reveal her cutie mark to twilight, both spike and twilight just stood there gazing at her flank "what, is something wrong?" scootaloo asked with worry in her voice "no not at all, spike take a letter!" twilight said "with pleasure!" spike said cheerfully "Dear Princess Celestia, I am writing to inform you that once again Princess Silver Frost has returned to Equestria. I highly suggest that you come at once. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle." twilight said and with a wisp of green fire from spike, the letter was off to princess celestia. "Who is Princess Silver Frost?" scootaloo asked nervously "Princess Silver Frost was the only princess who could spread love, cheer, and happiness throught her entire kingdom which lay in ruins far in the frozen north, and it is said that a pony every 5 generations will be the princess reincarnated and that also means that that pony can restore her kingdom but the older and more frail she becomes as she ages her kingdom starts to do the same and the kingdom will revert back to ruins in a matter of months when she dies and...and...I just don..." twilight was saying when scootaloo interupted "thats nice and all, but we want a simple awnser and not a type of awnser that will keep us here for a week, but we get what you are trying to say. " A few hours later Princess celestia arived but it was really late and she was soo tierd. the weary princess pondered "Twilight, would you mind if i stayed the night tonight?" twilight alwas wanting to be in the good with celestia gladly accepted "I would be honored to have you stay at my house princess." celestia responded with "Thank you twilight." as she fell into a deep slumber after crawling into the guest bed. The next morning twilight and celestia went to find scootaloo. when the two ponies found the fast orange filly she was pulling sweetie belle and applebloom along with her scooter "hi scootaloo, are you ready to leave? celestia asked and scootaloo just looked at her with a puzzled look on her face "what do you mean I get that i'm this princess "whats-her-face" but I didn't know I woud be leaving my friends!" she exclaimed "But scoo-" twilight started to say but was cut off by scootaloo
