Chapter 1: The mysterious portal from the ground

Chapter Text

“Why are you following me tommy?” A tall lanky fox hybrid walked down the creaky wooden path that stretched for miles, behind him sneaked around a raccoon hybrid now named tommy “How’d you know I was behind you?” Tommy asked, “You’re not exactly as sneaky as you think you are” The fox hybrid chuckled running his bandaged-up fingers through his dark brown curls, a long strip of white hair mixed with the dark brown, his contrasting bright orange ears that sat on head twitched from the slight breeze.

The raccoon hybrid looked down in embarrassment his comically large raccoon tail wrapping around his legs, the fox hybrid ruffled tommy’s blonde locks, him also having a strip of white hair not so noticeable as it blends in with his naturally blonde hair. “Where are you even going?” Tommy lifted his head back up.
“I’m going to see Phil” He turned around continuing to walk towards the community portal that was at the end of the path “Well then Wilbur today is your lucky day! Because I too am going to see Phil” The blonde boy beamed. Wilbur gave him a confused look before shrugging turning around a continue walking towards the portal. Tommy’s smile faltered before running up to Wilbur, they walked together in silence before coming up to the four-by-four portal.

“Alright here we are” Wilbur stopped at the portal; Tommy looked confused why didn’t he take the long way to Phil’s house? “Uhm Wil? Why are we in front of the portal?” Tommy asked worried, he didn’t want to go back in the nether, he didn’t want to go back to the nether, if he went back to the nether, HE would be there.
Tommy doesn’t want to go back to the nether.

Tommy doesn't want to go back to the nether.

Tommy doesn't want to go back to the nether.

TOMMY DOESN’T WANT TO GO BACK TO THE NETHER.

TOMMY DOESN’T WANT TO GO BACK TO THE NETHER.

“Tommy!” Tommy snapped back into reality when he heard Wilbur call out to him, Wilbur was waving his hand in front of tommy’s face “You ok? You blanked out for a moment there” Wilbur chuckled “Yeah yeah I’m good” Wilbur knew he wasn’t ok he could tell by how fluffed up his tail was. His own orange fox tail slowly waving side to side.
Wilbur sighed but let it go “come on we want to get there before the sun starts to set” Wilbur plunged his entire body into the portal leaving tommy behind. Tommy looked back and forth left and right, the height of the portal seeming much taller to him, taking a deep shaky breath he put a foot up the ledge and hoisted himself through the portal.
The immediate hot wind of the nether hit tommy in the face, he looked around a familiar anxiety hit him. He could see Wilbur up ahead. Not wanting to be alone and most definitely not want to get lost, he ran towards Wilbur. The two now walked together, Wilbur looked back at tommy, who kept glancing around his tail ruffled up and his tail wrapped around his feet.
Tommy didn’t like any of what was happening all he wanted was to be out of the nether, what if HE’S around here somewhere just waiting for tommy to let his guard down, what if- “And we’re here” Wilbur cut of Tommy’s thought. “Ugh thank God it was getting too damn hot here” Tommy called out running straight through the portal without a second though.
Wilbur sighed through his nose and walked peacefully through the portal as well

There sitting on the lonely bench of an empty train station sat a ghost, blue dye dripped down the bench and onto the large puddle on the floor, the ghost looked pale almost see through, dry hiccups coming from the ghost, he was clenching onto a piece of blue dye. He continued to sit there until the sound of an incoming train made him lift his head up, steam and blue dye poured out of his pale brown eyes.
Slowly lifting his body off the bench floating slightly off the ground, he was wearing a pale-yellow sweater blue dye staining the sweater, a red slash across his chest contrasting from the yellow and blue
His fingers dripping with the same blue dye, somehow never drying. He looked pale grey skin, greyish brown hair that floated up a little bit, pale orange ears and tail flicking at the noise, and a pale maroon beanie sat on his head.
The sound of the train got louder and louder until wind hit his face, a train passing by him in rapid speed the train slowly coming to a stop, the ghost walked slow towards the entrance of the train poking his head inside.
Not seeing anyone he walked onto the train, the door closing immediately he shook slightly as the train began moving once more. The ghost now sat on one of the benches holding his blue dye for dear life not knowing what was going on.

It was an average day in the city Japan just the usual villain running around, people just enjoying their days. Not to far from the most famous hero school sat a small park, an older woman was enjoying her day when a shaking earthquake spooked her, she looked around the small park until her eyes caught the ground ripping open, she carefully walked towards in cane in hand. A four-by-four block structure erupted from the ground, she walked backwards about to call for help but that’s when a blinding light erupted from the structure, a now lit purple portal was in place.
She was frightened she didn’t know what had happened until a whooshing sound came, and out came two gentlemen “ᔑ⍑ ⎓╎リᔑꖎꖎ|| ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ᓵ𝙹ꖎ↸ ∴╎リ↸ 𝙹-“ The blonde boy said lifting his hands up to the sky before stopping, thee boy looked around, next to him a tall brown haired fox hybrid noticed the older woman and walked up to her, before he could even speak out a single word. The woman screamed bloody murder.
“AH HELP VILLAINS” she left running off

“Huh what was that about?” Tommy walked next to Wilbur confused “I don’t know” Wilbur simply stated, “Also WHERE ARE WE?!” Tommy yelled out “Again I don’t know, come on there must be someone around here that might be able to help us”
And before they could take a single step forward a white cloth wrapped itself around tommy’s face lifting him off the ground, Wilbur turned around and had his stomach squeezed, the white cloth wrapping around his stomach.

The train finally came to a stop, the ghost stepped out, it looked like another abandoned train station, the ghost stepped off, the train doors shutting closed and speeding off, Was that just another trick? Was he stuck in an abandoned lonely train station for the rest of his life? Blue dye slowly poured out of the ghost’s eyes, the blue in his hand started dripping on the floor, he sat on the lonely bench once more, until a blinding light caught him off guard.
Getting up once more he could see on the other side of the train station large stairs that leaded upwards. Feeling excitement pour into his chest he ran off and down into the tracks where he floated upwards to the other side. Running up the stairs he could hear a soft “Bah” come from above.
He continued running until he was met the blinding light of the sun hit him. His smile beamed up he looked around looks like a rundown city, the soft “bah” making him turn around and bump into a blue sheep.
“Friend!” the ghost exclaimed “is it you?!” he felt around the sheep’s neck feeling a collar, he looked down the name “friend” was carved into the gold pendent of the collar “it is you!” The ghost hugged the sheep who only let out a bah in response.
A sudden realization hit the ghost “wait if you’re here then that means that tommy’s here too! Come on friend let’s go find tommy, and the ghost floated off in search of his friend, the blue sheep only followed
