Over the River and Through the Woods

Summary:

The Scala guardians gather together for their first Christmas reunited and Ephemer’s first birthday returned to the realm of light in song.

Notes:

Hikaru is an OC created by me as Brain’s Great Grandson
Tyrnoll and Noggi are OC’s created by me as pet dogs for Hikaru/ Brain’s family
Aww happy Union Leader and Wayfinder family
Vanitas will basically become like Ariel’s summon in kh3 mixed with a drifter in that he’s allowed to go anywhere and do anything he wants as long as it doesn’t break the world order and cause large scale chaos but when Ven calls him he has to come to his side

Work Text:

Various shots of The Land of Departure’s Christmas decorations appear as well as shots of the Wayfinder Trio suiting up appear in rhythm with the opening instrumental.

Ventus- Over the river and through the woods.  To Master Eraqus’ house we

Wayfinder Quartet- go!

Ventus- Our hearts know the way to carry our Keyblades through white and drifted-

Wayfinder Quartet- snow!

Ventus- Over the river and through the woods.  Oh, how the wind does-

Wayfinder Quartet- blow!

Chirithy- It stings the toes,

Aqua & Terra- it bites the nose

Ventus- as over the ground we go.

 

Wayfinder gang as Ven summons Vanitas and they head towards Scala- Over the river…

 

In rhythm with the song we see the decorations and going’s on in and around the Scala clock tower.

 

Lauriam- Over the river and through the woods.  Trot fast my dapple

Lauriam, Elrena & Strelitzia- gray!

we switch perspectives to Hikaru with Trynoll and Noggi at Brain’s statue finishing up the decorations there before getting ready to greet the Wayfinder Quartet.

Hikaru to Tyrnoll & Noggi- Spring over the ground like hunting hounds upon this Christmas

Everyone- Day!

Wayfinder Quartet- Over the river and through the woods and  straight through Scala’s

Everyone- gate!

Quick flashes of the Wayfinder Quartet and Hikaru heading back to the tower and Lauriam, Elrena and Strelitzia finishing up the decorations as Skuld blindfolds Ephemer and tells him to wait a little longer

Ephemer to Skuld- They seem to go extremely slow.  It’s just so hard to wait.

Skuld leads him out to where everyone is waiting counts down for the others so they can burst out their party poppers and Skuld takes off Ephemer’s blindfold.

Ephemer upon seeing the surprise party everyone is throwing- Yeah!

 

Several Slice of life shots show the guardians opening presents, meeting with Scala’s Citizens and having fun Ice skating together in rhythm with the rest of the song.

It’s snowing on campus today so I decided to post this early. Hope you enjoyed it.
