      I like the idea of her only taking the complete form of a bird when she reaches Valinor as it´s probably painful to change shape if you´re not used to it, so when she fell Maedhros thought she died as he only saw the shadows of her wings and thought it to be a cape (and there was probably a lot of ashes in the air and it might have been pretty cloudy so he only thought her flying away to be a big bird or just some shadow of his own mind)

       First when I made a design for them I didn't know who was who (the one with Maedhros and Maglor on my tumblr so I just followed one of Tolkiens early text where only Elrond existed and it was Maedhros who found him) but in this Elrond is the one with the long hair (yellow shoes) and Elros the one who needs to be introduced to a brush

       He´s the perfect bastard man and I love him! Also, I like to think that it´s only him and Curufin who have... say body accessories, of the Feanorians, Curufin has a big star of Feanor tattooed on his back, and I also almost ended up drawing Celegrom with nipple piercings, but he´s differently way happier with tattoos than his brother XD

       I won´t say much to Nienna as she´ll appear a bit later in the calendar (great now it´s not a surprise anymore XD) but something between a houseless Fea and an elf as I think her halls are visited much by Feas who fear Mandos but she also appears at festivals and all that, most of the time, especially sadder once, such as the end of the war of wrath where she´ll morn all those who didn´t make it or the doom of the Noldor (if that can be called a festival)
       I don´t have a design for Vaire but she probably looks like a ball of yarn, fabrics, silks, etc spinning/weaving itself (or maybe she even looks like a loom, but probably not), in a humanoid silhouette. She usually stays away from her husbands halls, but on the other side, Namo takes a pretty humanoid shape, and she sees him, so it´s more likely she looks like an elf but with skin of fabrics and hair of threads/yarn and either bottom or embodied eyes like a doll, something like that at least

          Nienna is going to appear later?! That's so exiciting! She's my favorite character from this franchise!
          I think that would be a really cool idea of a design for Vaire! I like it a lot! I imagine her as having a mixture of ribbon, threads, yarn etc for hair. I tend to imagine the Valar and Ainur as looking largely human/elf like but with some unsettling differences.

             I differently agree with that I also think it can be seen, as said, how social an Ainur is, but even if you meet one that´s surrounded by elvers/humans all the time they still look a bit weird like you can´t put your finger on it but something isn´t right and it´s creepy af.
             Tulkas would probably be a good example. He looks like a real strong elf with a beard, if a bit tall, also his waist is a bit too small and his breast and thighs a bit too big and his mouth has a few too many teeth, also it almost reaches his eyes when he laughs or smiles, which he does a lot, his voice sometimes sound almost normal and other times like music and even a few times you could risk getting a headache after listening to him or even being near him in a long time, and it hurts to look him in the eyes, but you would still need to know what to look for, nonetheless there´s just something wrong about his body and all that

             Vaires body made of textiles, fabrics, thread, ribbons, etc is all I live for now

    Everything about this is a blend of gorgeous and just a touch unsettling. Like those dual eyes and the... bull motif? with the tail and horns - that's not a motif I've ever seen applied to Varda but I absolutely love it!

       It is bull inspired!!!
       I remember little me once asking my mom why the moon was the biggest star in the sky (this was before I knew the sun was a star and the moon wasn't) and she told me a silly little story about how the moon is a cow with four horns and four eyes so it can look out for all people in each corner of the world, (in Nordic mythology there're four corners of the world and in each stand a dwarf. I grew up in Europe with a family that loves folklore so it´s more or less a part of me) and that the stars around the moon cow were small calves, and when they grew up, they would run away to find another place where they could look out for people.
       My first image of Varda was a big cow with lots of calves and now it calmed a bit down to her just having similarities to a cow, but I totally believe she has a lot of cows, maybe even a special magic cow that follows her.
       I also like to believe that a few of her Maiar takes the forms of cows, bulls, and calves, all because of a childhood story...

          That's so brilliant! I also thought of how Nut, the Egyptian personification of the sky who's also associated with birth and rebirth (Ra, her grandfather, is said to be reborn from her womb each dawn after his nightly journey through the underworld), and she's sometimes depicted as a great sky cow.
