Moving into the brownstone is a marvel. Combining their possessions, getting to pick furniture together, just getting to exist in each other’s space for longer than a weekend—
Henry loves seeing Alex’s habits and quirks play out in real time; revels in the lack of a screen between them.
It’s the small parts of Alex’s routines that Henry treasures the most, though. His six-step skin care routine, his habit of brushing his teeth in the shower, the way he always puts his left shoe on before his right.
Unfamiliar routines, but not for long.
Henry gets to learn them all.
