Chapter Text
“Where the fuck am I?!” John Laurens yelled looking around a dark room, mumbling could be heard which indicated he wasn’t alone. Lights turned on which brightened up the room, Lafayette and Hercules were standing right next to him but Alexander was gone. Multiple other people were in the big room but Alex wasn’t among them.
“Where are we?” Thomas Jefferson asked, and Lafayette recognized him immediately.
“Thomas!” He waved at Jefferson and ran over. Everyone was even more confused when a child who looked to be a girl with short hair entered the room.
“Hello important people, I’m Wilbur.” A confused look was seen on everyone's face.
“But you’re a girl how do you have a boy's name?” Peggy asked clinging to her older sister.
“In my time it’s ok to be gay or trans, I’m both!” Wilbur said smiling mostly at John whose face lit up. “Trans means you don’t feel like the gender you were assigned at birth so you change and go by the gender you want to.” John was now bouncing up and down, Wilbur snapped and everyone was seated. He had disappeared.
“You might be wondering where Alexander is, I can assure you he is okay and is seated with me.”
Eliza sighed with relief along with John, a big black screen began to turn on. Confused, everyone looked at the screen.
“You are going to watch a musical about Alexander!” Wilbur said and continued, “In the future, Hamilton is kinda forgotten but an amazing man named Lin-Manuel Miranda read a biography about him a decided to make a rap musical and it turned into a big thing, be thankful I’m showing you the musical and not some of the fanmade things because the things I have seen about you guys should not be shown.” Washington looked concerned and thought about what kids could be making about them but he shook it off and continued to look at the screen.
“Later on I will add Alexander in the room when I feel like he needs to be.” The kid said, assuring everyone in the room once again that Alex was safe. The lights went out again and the screen was playing the intro to the musical that would traumatize the important American figures.

Chapter Text
[AARON BURR]
How does a
bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a
Scotsman,
dropped in the middle of a forgotten
Spot in the Caribbean
by providence, impoverished, in squalor
Grow up to be a hero and a scholar?
“What a light-hearted way to start a musical,” Thomas said sarcastically, James hit his side and they continued to watch.
[JOHN LAURENS]
The ten-dollar Founding Father without a father
Got a lot farther by working a lot harder
By being a lot smarter
By being a self-starter
By fourteen, they placed him in charge of a trading charter
“Isn’t that illegal?” Phillip, who was sitting next to George Eacker, asked looking around the room.
“It is illegal…” Washington answered looking over at the boy who was a few chairs down.
[THOMAS JEFFERSON]
And every day while slaves were being slaughtered and carted
Away across the waves, he struggled and kept his guard up
Inside, he was longing for something to be a part of
The brother was ready to beg, steal, borrow, or barter
In unison, Jefferson and Lafayette said, “He looks like me!” Both were concerned but happy.
“Daveed Diggs, the guy you see on the screen plays Jefferson and Lafayette.” Wilbur’s voice answered, his voice was very loud and other talking could be heard.
“Hamilton I will let you sit with them later! Don’t make me tie you down to the chair.” Eliza was concerned for her husband's safety but dare didn’t question the kid.
[JAMES MADISON]
Then a hurricane came, and devastation reigned
Our man saw his future drip, dripping down the drain
Put a pencil to his temple, connected it to his brain
And he wrote his first refrain, a testament to his pain
"That's.. depressing," Angelica noted, she looked around the room not having been able to when she appeared there. The king was there and was seated next to a smaller-looking man the Rev set recognized as Samuel Sebery
[BURR]
Well, the word got around, they said, “This kid is insane, man”
Took up a collection just to send him to the mainland
“Get your education, don’t forget from whence you came, and
The world's gonna know your name. What’s your name, man?”
The Rev set sang along with the actors at this point, laughing a bit but overall having a good time. This time Jefferson decided to look around, and he realized that not everyone was from his time period, if they all were the Schuyler sisters would be furious about watching something about Hamilton saying he just had published the Reynolds pamphlet. Jefferson put together that Phillip was from his time and Madison was from his time period
[ALEXANDER HAMILTON]
Alexander Hamilton
My name is Alexander Hamilton
And there's a million things I haven't done
But just you wait, just you wait...
“I hope one of the things Hamilton does is shut up..” Burr exclaimed, Lee on his left looking at him nervously.
[ELIZA HAMILTON]
When he was ten his father split, full of it, debt-ridden
Two years later, see Alex and his mother bed-ridden
Half-dead sittin' in their own sick, the scent thick
[FULL COMPANY EXCEPT HAMILTON (whispering)]
And Alex got better but his mother went quick
“Well, that’s.. tragic,” Jefferson said in a breathy tone. Everyone nodded in agreement, Phillip remembering how his father would remind him and his siblings their fortunate to have both parents.
[GEORGE WASHINGTON & COMPANY, BOTH]
Moved in with a cousin, the cousin committed suicide
Left him with nothin' but ruined pride, something new inside
A voice saying
“Alex, you gotta fend for yourself.”
He started retreatin' and readin' every treatise on the shelf
“Even with all the tragedies in his life he still accomplished great things,” Washington said, trying to lighten the mood. Martha smiled and patted his shoulder when nobody responded or even reacted to his comment.
[BURR & COMPANY, BOTH]
There would have been nothin’ left to do
For someone less astute
He woulda been dead or destitute
Without a cent of restitution
Started workin', clerkin' for
his late mother's landlord
Tradin’ sugar cane and rum and all the things he can’t afford
Scammin' for every book he can get his hands on
Plannin' for the future
see him now as he stands on (ooh)
The bow of a ship headed for a new land
In New York you can be a new man
[COMPANY & HAMILTON, WOMEN, MEN]
In New York you can be a new man (Just you wait)
In New York you can be a new man (Just you wait)
In New York you can be a new man
In New York, New York
Just you wait!
[COMPANY]
Alexander Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton)
We are waiting in the wings for you (waiting in the wings for you)
You could never back down
You never learned to take your time!
Oh, Alexander Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton)
When America sings for you
Will they know what you overcame?
Will they know you rewrote the game?
The world will never be the same, oh
The Rev set was enjoying the music, and George Eacker kept whispering to Maria and Phillip about how amazing the performance was constructed. Despite Phillips's hatred for the man, he found it quite entertaining learning about plays.
[BURR, MEN, & COMPANY]
The ship is in the harbor now
See if you can spot him
Just you wait
Another immigrant
Comin’ up from the bottom
Just you wait
His enemies destroyed his rep
America forgot him
Jefferson chuckled and mocked the lyric, “‘HIs enemies destroyed his rep’” Madison stepped on his foot which shut him up immediately.
[MULLIGAN/MADISON & LAFAYETTE/JEFFERSON]
We fought with him
[LAURENS/PHILIP]
Me? I died for him
“What?!” Phillip and Laurens shouted in unison. Lafayette grabbed John’s shoulder in a comforting way. Maria stood up and switched seats with Eacker to comfort Phillip.
[WASHINGTON]
Me? I trusted him
[ELIZA & ANGELICA & PEGGY/MARIA]
Me? I loved him
“Excuse me?!” Eliza howled, Peggy put her hand up in the air and claimed she never had any romantic feelings for Alexander. Angelica’s head lowered and so did Maria’s, Phillip knew all of this and still was never mad at his aunt or Maria. He wasn’t mad at his father either, he never knew how to feel when it came to that whole situation.
[BURR]
And me?
I'm the damn fool that shot him
Everyone looked at Burr who was shocked himself. Why would he kill Alexander... It didn’t make sense.
[COMPANY]
There's a million things I haven’t done
But just you wait!
[BURR]
What's your name, man?
In unison the Rev set and Burr said “Alexander Hamilton!” Burr more annoyed than excited.
[COMPANY]
Alexander Hamilton!
