Chapter 1: nervously pacing

Chapter Text

Being away from Rain is awful enough, but being away from him and having nothing to do all day? Dewdrop would rather go through another elemental change. No, he’s not being dramatic, absolutely not.

“It’s only for three days,” Rain told him, trying his best to console. It didn’t help much. Today is only the first full day without him, and Dew woke up in his own room — gross — without the water ghoul wrapped around him. He’s bitter, even as he stalks off to the kitchen for a snack, the aura radiating off of him is upsetting. Swiss notices, as always, and decides not to fuck with Dew like he planned, because he misses Rain already too.

“Hey,” he says, leaning over the counter and watching Dewdrop intently, “you… y’know… okay?”

The fire ghoul grumbles and throws two pieces of bread in the toaster. He’s pouting, like a child, and Swiss… well he thinks it’s cute, but he’ll never say it for fear of having his head ripped off. “Come here,” he holds his arms open and tilts his head, putting on a soft expression — showing he’s safe. Someone Dew can be vulnerable with. And it works.

Dew stalks over and throws his arms around Swiss, melting into the hug. He groans and pushes his face into the multi ghoul’s chest, the plush surface muffling his noises of complaint. “I miss Rainy.”

Swiss sighs, lifting Dew to sit on the counter so he can meet him at eye level. He rubs Dew’s outer thighs, not suggestively, it’s just a comfort. “Me too,” he kisses Dew’s forehead and pulls back, greeted by the tiniest hint of a smile, “but hey, we get to do what we want without him yelling at us!”

It makes the tiny smile grow just that much more, and Swiss feels triumphant.

The door opens and Aether, wrapped in a blanket and still half asleep, walks in. Swiss grins at the sight and gives him a nod, “C’mere, Aeth.”

He listens, too tired to object. Aether is the ghoul anyone would expect to be pretty chipper in the mornings, but he seems to always roll out of bed like he wants to kill someone. He approaches the pair and mutters something unintelligible until Dew cradles his face in his hands. The quintessence ghoul hums at the contact and brightens up, the warmth from Dew’s hot hands transferring to his cold cheeks. Swiss smiles at the sight.

“How you feelin’, big guy?” He asks, ruffling Aether’s short hair. He grunts in response and frowns. “Tired, shoulda guessed. You want somethin’ for breakfast?”

Aether nods, still wordless and he indulges in the heat of Dew’s hands on his face. The fire ghoul still looks troubled at the sheer lack of Rain, but the fact that Aether is finding comfort in him now is helping, and he pulls the ghoul closer to lean fully into him, the blanket draping over the counter.

“Already threw some toast in for myself, but if you want me to help I can,” Dew suggests, really just needing anything to keep his mind off of missing Rain.

Swiss ponders it, slinking over to the fridge to rustle through what they have. “Depends on what Aeth wants,” he turns back to the pair, meeting the quintessence ghoul’s eyes.

He growls, lacking any malicious intent. “Waffles,” Aether mumbles and nuzzles Dew’s neck at an awkward angle. “With chocolate chips.”

The multi ghoul sighs and pulls the waffle maker from the cabinet, “You are so lucky I like you,” he mutters, “You’re gonna have to get off of Dew, though.” He’s met with a whine from Aether, who clings tighter to the fire ghoul.

“C’mon, I’ll warm you up later.”

Aether groans and peels himself, reluctantly, off of him, tugging the blanket tight around his shoulders. Dew kisses his cheek and hops down from the counter, now mildly irritated by his short stature in comparison to both Swiss and Aether. He brushes it off and rummages through the pantry, retrieving the chocolate chips and pancake-waffle mix. A clink on the counter makes his head turn and he grins; Swiss placed the mixing bowl and whisk down for him.

The toaster dings and Dew jumps back, like a scared cat. He groans at his own reaction and throws the chocolate and waffle mix on the counter as he swings open the fridge again for butter. “Fuckin’… hate that shit,” he grumbles, tone surprisingly venomous.

“Hey, hey, chill,” Swiss soothes. He likes to think he’s gotten better at emotions since he became ‘official’ with Rain and Dewdrop, but he’s still nervous. “Lemme do it, you focus on the waffles, babe.”

The pet name softens him. Swiss uses them infrequently, and it feels special whenever he adds them casually to a sentence. Dew grumbles quietly and lets Swiss take over in the small task of buttering his toast, and he turns to throw together the waffle mix, catching Aether’s tender gaze.

Dew has made these so many times for Aether that he doesn’t even need the recipe on the box, so he glances from the bowl to the quintessence ghoul across from him as he pleases. Before he knows it, Swiss is dangling one of his pieces of toast in front of the fire ghoul, already broken off into a bite-sized section for him to grab with his mouth, and he does, giving Swiss a loving, playful grin.

He moves to turn on the waffle maker after noticing the batter is fully mixed, then takes over for Dew as he’s handed the bowl.

The fire ghoul takes the rest of his toast and sits beside Aether, watching Swiss finish up the meal. As expected, the bigger ghoul manages to steal a bite of Dew’s toast and earns himself a growl. “Food aggression much?”

Dewdrop only hisses in response, snatching back the toast, “I made you waffles, don’t steal my breakfast.” He rolls his eyes and takes a massive bite. Aether surrenders, instead watching the multi ghoul in front of them finish his waffles. He throws them on a plate and slides it to Aether, pouring in batter for the next two.

He doesn’t even bother with syrup, just cuts off a bit with his fork and shoves it in his mouth. He hums, pleased.

The rest of the process is quiet, at least until Swiss hisses out a “Fuck!” after burning his hand on the waffle maker, shaking it aggressively before brushing it off and removing the last two waffles. Aether makes a ‘come here’ motion with his hand and transfers a tiny bit of quintessence to the wound — Swiss purrs out a small, “Thank you.”

Swiss reaches into the fridge again to grab the syrup for himself and practically drowns his waffles in it. Dew gags at the sight, rolling his eyes.

“What?”

“They’re gonna get all fuckin’ soggy!”

The multi ghoul rolls his eyes right back at Dew, “Like I’ll leave ‘em on the plate long enough,” he says as he stabs off a piece of the waffle and scarfs it down. Aether growls at both of them and they shut up. Dewdrop pushes himself off the barstool to steal half a waffle, indulging his sweet tooth for once.

Aether and Swiss finish their meals and the multi ghoul throws all the dishes into the sink — he at least has the decency to run water in them, though. He stands behind Dew, pulling him into his body by the waist, resting his chin on Dew’s head. The fire ghoul growls, but ultimately lets it happen. Without a distraction, the ache of missing Rain comes back and he just wants to beat himself up about it.

Curse his stupid fucking attachment and stupid fucking brain. How utterly obsessed he is with the water ghoul, to the point of nearly grieving him when he’s away for more than six hours.

Swiss squeezes him and snaps him out of his thoughts, “Sorry — fucking hate this,” he mumbles out the last bit, leaning back into Swiss’ comforting touch.

“‘S fine,” Swiss says, “I miss him too.”

For a second time this morning, the door swings open and Cirrus walks in, still in her pajamas and stretching.

“Hi, boys!” She chirps. Aether immediately whines and she takes pity on him, gliding over to wrap her arms around him, “Hey, honey.”

A comforting warmth settles deep in Dew and Swiss’ bones at the sight. Cirrus loosens one arm and reaches for one of the still-warm waffles, and Swiss nods that she can take it. A grin grows on her face and she situates herself on Aether’s lap as she takes it, nibbling at it like a bird.

Aether rests his head in the junction of her neck and shoulder, basking in her comfort. Today’s gonna be lazy and they all know it; it’s a Monday and everyone is exhausted. They all miss Rain and Cumulus, too, who were traveling with Papa to other Church of Satan locations for meetings of some kind.

None miss Rain more than Dew and Swiss, and none miss Cumulus more than the remaining two ghoulettes. It’s difficult being separated from the pack and they have no doubt Rain and Cumulus feel the same. They can still text and call the others, but the chance of interrupting an important discussion is too high, so they’d be waiting until the others texted them.

Dewdrop, sick of standing, drags Swiss over to an armchair in the living room. They curl up together and Dew throws his legs over the armrest, sideways in Swiss’ lap. He can’t even distract himself by riling up the multi ghoul and getting a good dicking, too upset to be horny. Still, he doesn’t doubt the chance that they’d be fucking tonight, both of their sex drives were too high to ignore.

In his pocket, Dew’s phone vibrates and he scrambles to take it out and check. The only word to describe his face in the moment is elated; Swiss peers at the screen, grinning when he sees a notification from Rain.

Rainy ♡: you guys awake yet?

dew: unfortunately. we miss u, dumbass.

Swiss audibly groans at his reply, “Be nice to him. Who knows who he has to go talk to.”

Dew huffs and watches the chat bubble move.

Rainy ♡: i’m sure you di

Rainy ♡: do*

The multi ghoul snorts over his shoulder.

dew: swiss is watching me text you, btw.

Rainy ♡: hi swiss

He purrs, blushing at the attention.

dew: are u free to call me or does papa have u wrapped up in some bullshit rn?

Dew taps his foot anxiously as he waits for a response, and frowns when it appears on his screen.

Rainy ♡: not right now but soon. an hour or two probably.

dew: fineee. go pay attention to whatever papa has u doing, we can wait.

Rainy ♡: will do. i love you both, i’ll text you again as soon as i can.

dew: we love you too.

The fire ghoul growls at his phone and puts it back in his pocket. He’s happy to have talked to Rain, even if for a short time, but he’s still impatient to see his face again. Their eyes flick over to Aether and Cirrus, who seem to be equally glued to Cirrus’ phone. Dew can even hear Aether purring.

Swiss tugs him in as close as he can manage, nuzzling Dew’s face with his cheek affectionately. The fire ghoul can’t resist leaning into the action and sighs, “Wanna watch something?”

Swiss hums affirmatively as Dew reaches for the remote and turns the TV on. He flicks through a few channels and groans — it’s a Monday morning, no real surprise that nothing good is on. “Movie?” Swiss suggests.

Dew makes another noise of discontent at needing to get up and put in a DVD, but stands anyway because he needs the distraction. “Mamma Mia,” Swiss demands with an absolutely stupid grin on his face.

“I vote Mamma Mia!” Cirrus adds before Dew can even object. He growls and snatches the DVD out of the case, putting it in begrudgingly. He wanted to watch a horror movie, but there’s no chance he’ll win if Aether chimes in, which knowing the quintessence ghoul, he would.

The multi ghoul, still sitting in the armchair, gestures for Dew to join him again and presses play once it loads in. Dew nestles into Swiss’ body and locks his eyes on the screen, hoping he’ll fall asleep during the movie. He doesn’t hate it, but he’s seen it enough times that it’s not sufficient as a distraction anymore. Cirrus and Aether have migrated to the couch, aside from Dew and Swiss, cuddling close and purring.

Dew spaces out by the fifteen minute mark and just tries to control how upset he is, masking his scent that continues souring. He knows how he smells when he’s upset, like gasoline and charred wood — and not in a good way. It’s unpleasant and itches his own nostrils. His eyelids start feeling heavy and he lets himself drift into that space between sleep and wakefulness, feeling what happens around him, but not really hearing or seeing it. Swiss’ arms tighten around him and he falls into a mostly-peaceful nap.

He wakes up to, one, Swiss staring at him like Cupid just shot him through the heart, and two, a pile of purring ghouls across from them. “Hey, sleepyhead,” the multi ghoul mumbles, voice dripping with honey.

“Stop looking at me like that,” Dew replies, shying away from how soft Swiss looks.

The multi ghoul laughs and brushes a chunk of hair behind Dew’s ear before nuzzling his cheek. He’s strangely affectionate today, but honestly, Dew thinks it’s a nice change. He needs it today.

A series of vibrations in his pocket has him scrambling for his phone again, trilling unashamedly when he sees that it’s Rain calling him. He at least tries to contain his excitement when he speaks, resting the phone on his legs so the water ghoul can see him and Swiss.

“Hey,” he mumbles, desperately muffling his enthusiasm.

“Oh, that’s all I get?”

Rain is in his stage gear, as the ghouls always are in professional settings, but his helmet is off and his hair is frizzy from being trapped in his balaclava. Dew can’t tear his eyes off the screen, burning the sight into his eyes.

“He’s been whining about you all day,” Swiss interjects, and Dew turns to glare at him for a brief moment before gluing his eyes to the screen again.

Rain laughs, it’s a beautiful sound even through the shitty phone mic, and Dew softens again at it. “Has he now? Honeydew, you can live without me for a few days.”

“No, I can’t. Actually, I’m sick and withering away right now, so you need to come back,” Dew jokes, just to get another giggle out of the water ghoul.

“I’m sure you’ll be fine,” he grins at the screen, soft and adoring. It’s agonizing that Dew can’t reach through the screen and pull him in for a kiss. “Is everyone okay otherwise? Papa’s worried that taking the two most responsible ghouls was a bad decision.”

A hearty laugh from Swiss rumbles through Dew and he cuddles in closer, letting the multi ghoul answer so he can focus on staring at Rain. “This morning’s been fine — made waffles this morning for an extremely grumpy Aether. Finished watching Mamma Mia a little while ago,” Swiss’ eyes drifted to Dew, “this little guy conked the fuck out halfway through.”

“Sleeping beauty, today?”

Dew chitters at the compliment, “Shut up.”

Rain smiles again, yearning to shower both of them in praise. “No way, if I have to do all these boring meetings and talk to any other old man besides Papa, I deserve a little treat.”

“I’ll give you a treat,” Dew mutters, inaudible to the microphone. Rain raises an eyebrow and hums. “Nothing.”

“Uh-huh.”

Dew’s eyes move briefly to scan at the pile of snoring ghouls next to them, biting his lip. “Can we go to your room?” He nudges Swiss.

It’s easy for him to understand why. Dew softens so greatly around Rain and he misses it, but the struggle of anyone else seeing him like that makes him anxious. Swiss nods and picks up the fire ghoul effortlessly. Dew yelps, Rain laughs.

“So strong!” He chimes through the phone, breathy and full of adoration for the multi ghoul, who flushes at the praise. “Should I wait until you two settle, then we can really chat?”

“Yeah,” Dew mumbles, pushing into Swiss’ chest with his cheek. Rain goes mostly silent, and the fire ghoul watches him peel off his uniform. Swiss kicks open his door, already ajar, shocking Dew out of the trance he was in watching Rain undress.

He lets Dewdrop down to take his own shirt off, “Oh, come on. Neither of you are being fair.”

“Who needs shirts, when I have a perfectly good heated boyfriend?

The word makes Dew’s heart stutter. The shade of red that his face turns could rival the pits of hell, even Rain watches in mild amusement. “Shut the fuck up before I punch you,” Dew whispers out.

“Ugh, seriously? I bring you all the way here and you’re not even gonna be a softie?” Swiss complains, slotting himself behind Dew, back to chest, arms wrapped securely around his waist as he holds up the phone for Rain to see the two of them.

The water ghoul melts — Dewdrop all red-faced and quiet, Swiss, ever smug over his shoulder. All he wishes for is to be with him, and in an effort to pluck at Dew’s vulnerability and make him let go for once, he says just that. The whine that the fire ghoul tries and fails to muffle is downright adorable, Swiss’ smug grin falls off of his face in exchange for something much softer, reserved just for his ghouls.

Dew finally gives up on his façade of anger, it registers on his face when he leans back into Swiss and stares at Rain reverently. “I miss you,” he says for the second time, much more tender, more loving, almost hurt, “Why’d you agree to go?”

Rain rubs his face and sighs, “Papa doesn’t exactly trust many of us to behave enough in professional settings — Lus and I were his only options besides going alone,” he pauses, “you know how he is.”

Unfortunately, Dew does. He knows Papa gets anxious, freezes up. He does the same. It doesn’t make it any better, though. No less difficult a pill to swallow. “Unfair,” he mumbles.

“He’ll be back soon, love,” Swiss says, lips brushing his neck softly, “I know it hurts, but you trust him — trust us, right?”

When Rain is adoring like this, he’s used to it and it still makes him blush. Swiss? He shifts in the ghoul’s lap and just has to kiss him. He can’t help himself, not one bit. Another laugh bubbles up in Rain’s chest at the sight, he really does love when Dew lets himself go.

“I do,” he whimpers, “‘m sorry. Being dumb.”

Rain barely catches a sniffle and he coos, “Honeydew, look at me, hm?” The fire ghoul meets his eyes, lashes wet with unshed tears, “I promise you’ll get me all to yourself when I get back. You and Swiss,” Rain grins, “my ghouls.”

That even makes Swiss blush, “Loverboy,” he says, still calm as Dew is practically shaking at the sentence. He mumbles something against Swiss’ chest and neither of them catch it.

“What was that?”

“Again.”

Rain hums, “My ghouls. Loves of my entire life.”

Dew purrs so audibly that even the microphone picks it up and both other ghouls chuckle at it, Swiss offering gentle touches as Rain trills fondly. “You are such a sucker for him.” Swiss jabs at the water ghoul.

“I might be,” he responds, “but are you saying you aren’t?

“Never said that.” Swiss breathes, cradling Dew’s face and peppering it with soft kisses. He swats at the multi ghoul, but Swiss doesn’t quit, not until he’s satisfied with the burn on his hands from the heat of Dew’s cheeks.

Dewdrop growls lowly and snaps his teeth, though there really isn’t any threat in it, considering he’s still purring. Rain watches, doing his best not to shower them both in so much affection that they explode; it’s a difficult task, especially for him. The fire ghoul gives up on his attitude and melts into Swiss fully, going limp in his arms — except for the hand holding the phone. He nuzzles his horn carefully against the multi ghouls jaw, chirping at the sensation of his stubble on the sensitive skin at the base.

Finally, Rain remembers he’s half dressed and props his phone up on something — neither other ghoul can tell what — but both of them growl softly when they see his lower half is out of sight from the camera. “Oh, really?” He groans, shooting a playful glare at them, “I don’t need to watch the two of you fuck because you saw a sliver of skin,” he mutters, kicking off his pants, throwing on sleep shorts and a t-shirt and settling in the bed of whatever room he’s in.

“You love watching me fuck his brains out!” Swiss says, incredulous.

“It’s more fun if I’m there. And I’m not. So, no fucking on facetime, please.” It’s really not a request, but Dew hums affirmatively in response anyway. He shifts his position and hands off the phone to Swiss, instead choosing to bury his face in the multi ghoul’s scent gland and inhale him. They’re talking about something while he spaces out, but all he cares about is the soft rumble of Swiss’ chest as he speaks and Rain’s beautiful voice coming through the phone speaker, butchered by the shit quality of the microphone. He slips back down into Swiss’ lap, facing the screen again to smile stupidly at Rain.

There’s no snark, no cockiness in the grin. It’s all emotion; soft, loving, everything he reserves for Rain and Swiss. It sends a pang through Rain’s heart that registers as a quiet whine, “I wish I could kiss you.”

Dew just nods in agreement, too brain-fried from affectionate to really respond. He knows it’s night where Rain is, and he should let the water ghoul go to sleep already, the jetlag is probably killing him. But Satan, he wants to be selfish. Wants to keep Rain awake for a little while longer, get every drop of love out of him before he rests. As if to prove how tired he is Rain yawns.

“I know you wanna keep me around,” he says quietly, gently, like Dew will shatter if he says it differently, “but I am tired. Will you two survive if I get some sleep?”

The fire ghoul whines. “I guess,” he mumbles out and his brows crease, a frown growing on his face. Swiss nods and hums affirmatively. He’s upset too, but less so than Dew, so he doesn’t complain.

“Alright, I love you both so much, okay? I’ll text you first thing when I wake up,” Rain smiles at the camera, but neither of them miss the pain in it. He misses them just as much as they miss him.

“I love you, too,” they reply in unison, “bye…”

“Goodbye, my loves,” Rain mumbled and finally the phone screen goes black.

Dew can’t hold back the way he shudders through a sob, breaking down in Swiss’ arms. The multi ghoul shushes him and squeezes him closer. “Breathe, baby,” he murmurs, “it’s okay. He’s gonna be back soon.”

He cries for a little longer than he’d like to admit, but Swiss comforts him the whole time. Soft touches, tender words, everything that helps. He recovers and wipes the tears off with his sleeves, staying quiet for a long while.

Swiss assures him that they’ll be okay.

Chapter 2: answers to questions

hello agaiiiin!! idk what to put here i’m pretty happy with this chapter

Chapter Text

Dewdrop wakes to the spicy scent of cloves and Swiss’ arms tight around his waist, holding him securely in place. He squirms against the ghoul. No luck, but Swiss is awake, because he squeezes Dew closer and purrs, “Don’t run away from me.”

Oh. That tone of voice. It’s going to be one of those mornings. Dew squirms harder and Swiss grips his waist to flip him over, now facing one another. He crashes their mouths together in a kiss that turns filthy almost immediately, one hand tangled in Dew’s bedhead, pulling at it roughly.

Surprisingly, despite how emotional they’ve been, neither of them want it soft.

Swiss’ unoccupied hand finds its way into Dew’s boxers and tears a cry out of the tiny ghoul as he toys with the sensitive nub above his slit, and Dew licks into his mouth hurriedly. He bemoans the fact that Swiss actually slept in pants last night, taking his hand off of the ghoul’s chest to pull them off.

“You’re so fuckin’ pretty like this,” Swiss groans as Dew wraps his fingers around the head of his cock, already hard and throbbing, “wet already, too.”

“Shut up, you woke up hard.” Dew snarks back, biting Swiss’ lip and pulling him into another harsh kiss. He shimmies out of his own boxers and starts kissing down the multi ghoul’s jaw, savoring the feeling of stubble on his lips. It’s something Swiss caught onto quickly, Dew’s thing for facial hair — especially his.

He hums as Dew sucks a hickey into his dark skin, right under his jawline, and rewards him by slipping his fingers into the fire ghoul. They fall into a rhythm of Dew’s hand pumping Swiss’ cock, while Swiss thrusts into him slowly with his fingers, but they both want more.

“Come on, fuck me,” Dew mocks, then yelps as Swiss turns him on his back and looms over him. “That’s more like it,” he purrs, eyes narrow.

Swiss licks the slick off his fingers and lines himself up, staring at Dew as he fucks his own mouth. The fire ghoul goes slack-jawed at the sight and cants his hips forward, “Get in me, now.”

“No ‘please’?” The multi ghoul grins and pushes in, his eyes slip shut while he moans at the tight heat. He almost misses Dew’s breathy sigh of pleasure.

They both take a moment to revel in it — how Swiss fills him up so perfectly. The thought makes Dew whimper, “Knot me?” He requests, almost shyly.

It pulls another moan out of Swiss, and he can’t help but buck his hips forward in pleasure, causing them both to groan again. “Yeah, I can do that,” he stutters out, hands wrapped around Dew’s tiny waist as he starts to thrust. The fire ghoul half-glamours his claws away, so they aren’t razor-sharp, to rake them down the plane of the multi ghoul’s back — he shudders at the pain.

Swiss pulls one hand off of his waist and raises it to his throat, waiting for recognition and a nod. He gets it and clamps the hand down.

“Oh, fuck!” Dew chokes out, head thrown back in ecstasy as Swiss pistons in and out.

He’s scrabbling at the ghoul’s back, drawing blood and only making him go faster. It’s a feral kind of fuck, not soft and sweet like how they usually do it in the morning, but they need it. Swiss is good at fucking him like this, too. All teeth and claws and violence. Even through the blood and choking he still finds that same ball of utter affection for the multi ghoul, nothing but love, regardless of how hard or soft they fuck.

Dewdrop taps his back thrice and Swiss releases him, then leans in for a kiss, stealing more of his oxygen because, damnit, Dew can’t ever resist those lips. He’s lightheaded, on the verge of passing out, when Swiss parts, staring down at him with equal parts love and ferocity. “Such a fuckin’ slut for me, huh? You love this.”

The fire ghoul nods shamelessly, “Yeah, yeah the fuck I am,” he moans out, “love it. Love it so much.” The words are spoken without much brainpower behind them.

Swiss already feels his knot itching to grow, but he doesn’t want this to end yet — truthfully, he never wants this to end. He runs a hand down Dew’s chest and pulls at his nipple rings, coaxing a series of breathy moans out of him in time with his thrusts. A pang of possessiveness stabs through the multi ghoul. It’s usually something he leaves for Rain, to make Dew say he’s theirs. Unfortunately, their darling water ghoul is still absent and Dew’s already asked him to knot. If Dew doesn’t like it, he can call yellow and Swiss will stop, of course, but until then, he has free reign.

“Mine,” he mutters against Dew’s neck, licking his scent gland like it’s the best thing he’s ever tasted. “Mine.”

“Yours.”

Swiss growls and smashes their lips together again, picking up the pace. It nearly rocks the whole bed with the force of it, and he parts just to look at Dew’s face. Complete bliss. “All for me, me and Rainy own you, huh?”

Dew keens at the mention of their absent lover, shaking under Swiss while he cries out some kind of agreement. “I want your knot, I want it so bad, Swiss, please.” He whimpers as the multi ghoul finally lets it swell, teasing at his entrance with every thrust.

“Say you’re mine, and I’ll knot you, baby,” Swiss pants out, barely able to keep himself from shoving it in, but he needs to hear it.

The ghoul whines, “Fuck! I’m yours, yours, Swiss—” It cuts off into a pathetic little whimper as Swiss pushes in, finally popping his knot fully. The stretch and the pressure makes both of them come, Swiss pouring his cum into a spasming Dewdrop. He’s panting and teething at the fire ghoul’s scent gland, whining for permission to bite him. “Please, plea—” he’s cut off again by a high pitched moan when Swiss’ fangs pierce the sensitive skin. Blood pours from it, tasting like iron and cinnamon, and the multi ghoul laps it up desperately. He groans at the flavor and another spurt of cum shoots from his cock, still buried snugly inside Dew.

The comedown takes them both ages, as it always does when ghouls knot, but Dew savors every second. They’re locked together for the next… well, until Swiss deflates, and he spends all of it touching every inch of the multi ghoul that he can. He doesn’t register that they’re both purring until his phone rings on the bedside table.

Both of them shoot up in response, Dew wincing when the knot tugs at him painfully. “Sorry,” Swiss murmurs, reaching for the phone and handing it off to Dew.

He answers it immediately and Swiss hears a gasp of shock from a voice he couldn’t mistake for anyone but Rain. “Um, hi, Rain,” Dew murmurs. He looks fucked out.

“Lemme see both of you, at least.”

Swiss chuckles sheepishly. “Not really… an option, right now.”

“Oh my god, did you knot him?” Rain doesn’t sound upset. Actually, he sounds strangely pleased. Maybe even a little turned on himself, but without seeing his face, Swiss can’t tell. Dew nods at the camera and adjusts himself more comfortably. “Do I dare ask to see the crime scene?” His tone drips with desire and, yep, definitely turned on.

Swiss steals the phone, and Rain almost groans at the sight. He’s blissed out too, less than Dew, but still obvious, and he’s covered in hickeys. “Did you really leave that many, Dew? Damn,” he says, looking at himself briefly in the small window where he can see it.

“I’m waiting!” Rain chimes, all sing-song tone that still sounds husky and pleased. Swiss rolls his eyes and flips the camera without warning, the only signal Dew gets is the absolutely filthy moan Rain lets out.

He hides his face in his hands and sighs, “Shut up, please.”

“Oh, I don’t think you want me to shut up.”

It’s clear what Rain wants from the fire ghoul and he flushes red at the idea. “How long until that knot deflates, Swiss?” He asks, and the multi ghoul barely notices the question because oh, fuck Rain’s dick is out.

“Uh— um, I dunno, couple minutes.” He replies shakily, eyes following the water ghoul’s hand as it strokes his cock.

Rain hums. “Can you come again, before you take it out?”

Fuck, probably, if Rain keeps talking to him like this. “I don’t know, shit, maybe?” He mumbles back, still entranced by the way Rain is touching himself.

It’s pornographic, how mesmerizing he is when he’s jerking himself off, and it isn’t fair to Swiss, who already feels himself throbbing again inside Dew. The fire ghoul in question whines, “Lemme see—” he steals the phone back and almost drops it at the sight on his screen. He clenches around Swiss’ knot and the multi ghoul moans.

“Fuck, Dew, hang on— shit,” he nearly doubles over as Dew moves, it’s not much, but it still makes him want to explode. Swiss grips the smaller ghoul’s waist and holds him still.

Dewdrop writhes in his grip, but Swiss is stronger than him and he inevitably gives up.

“Rainy, can I—”

“Yes, let me watch,” the water ghoul breathes out, already certain of what Dew is asking for. The camera is still flipped, focused right where Swiss and Dew are tied together by the multi ghoul’s knot. His spindly fingers trail down to his cunt and he moans as he rubs small circles at his clit. “Fuck, Dew.”

Swiss is helpless to do anything but sit and watch, but every time Dew clenches around his knot he moans, it’s wrecked, nearly a whine. He can’t even move, and he’s never wanted a knot to deflate faster in his entire life. Dew and Rain’s moans fill his ears and he could honest to Satan start crying, “I wanna fuck you again,” he whines to Dew, who shudders at how ruined he sounds. He probably can’t actually come again like this, no matter how badly he wants to please Rain.

“You’re both so fucking good for me,” Rain moans through the phone, and he whimpers at the praise. “Let me see Swiss.”

Dewdrop pans the camera up and Swiss feels like he needs to hide in shame, but the pleased sound he gets out of the water ghoul shuts that down quickly. Dew peels his eyes off the screen for a moment to look at him, wishing he could pull the multi ghoul into a kiss. He notices, a little too late, that Swiss’ knot is deflated enough to start fucking him again, and he almost drops the phone — again — when he thrusts, pulling it out and pushing it back in again fast.

His eyes flutter shut and he moans, “Fuck, more? Please,” he sighs out. Swiss nods, thrusting in and out gently as he takes in every sound he can from the fire ghoul. “Screw you and your—” a breathy moan, “—fucking amazing dick,” Dew whines, and Rain growls at him through the speaker.

“Be good or he can come down your throat instead, honeydew,” he rasps, eyes glued to the, admittedly, shaky screen, absorbing Dew’s whimper of complaint at the threat. “Wish I could be there, get something in that little mouth and shut you up,” Rain groans.

Dew is beyond responding at this point, and Swiss chuckles as he takes the phone and props it up on a pillow, angled well enough for both of them to see Rain. “So good for me, Swiss, why is it always you who can actually listen?”

The multi ghoul shudders at that and shakes his head, “You know how much our little spitfire loves being a brat, huh? Don’t you, baby?”

Dew nods enthusiastically, babbling out affirmatives as he tries to grab Swiss’ shoulder to pull him into a kiss. “Ask nicely?” The multi ghoul taunts, savoring how Dew whines.

“Please, kiss me,” his voice is wrecked and Swiss takes pity on him, leaning over the tiny ghoul and locking their lips together in a filthy, open mouthed kiss, drinking in every sound the fire ghoul makes. Rain groans at the sight, spilling out praises for both of them, and Dew realizes he very likely needs to ask for permission before he comes. But Swiss’ lips feel so fucking good on his own, and he can’t help himself when he clenches around the ghoul’s cock as his second orgasm wracks through his body.

“Fuckin’ shit— Dew,” Swiss parts from the kiss to let out his own filthy moans, trying embarrassingly hard not to come. “I’m gonna come,” he breathes, waiting for a nod from Rain before finally spilling a second load into their fire ghoul. Dew watches, entranced, as Rain comes over his hand and wishes more than any that he could lick it off.

Swiss collapses on top of him with a groan, pulling his spent cock out and letting out a quiet whimper at the overstimulation. Dew holds him tight to his chest and keeps his eyes glued to Rain, who’s letting the post-orgasm bliss wash over him. He smiles, a bit stupidly, at the pair on his screen as he reaches out of range to grab a towel, wiping his hands and cock off before shoving it back into his pants. “You two okay? Especially you, Swiss? I know going another round after knotting is—” He’s cut off by a muffled groan from the multi ghoul, which answers his question just fine. “Dew?”

“Mhm, I’m alright. A little sore, but I can take care of him for the day,” he pets Swiss’ head, scratching his scalp lightly to pull a purr out of him. “I still miss you, by the way,” he mumbles.

“I know, honeydew.” Rain softens immediately, “I’ll be home Thursday morning, you and Swiss get the whole day with me. I promise.”

Dew whines out a complaint, but otherwise doesn’t protest. “Do you have to go soon?”

With a resigned sigh, Rain nods, “I’m probably already a little late, but I doubt it’s anything important.” He pushes hair out of his face and frowns. “I’ll call you two again later, okay?”

“Okay,” Dew tries not to whine, it’s not very successful, “I love you— I don’t know if Swiss is in any condition to move, but he loves you, too.”

As if to prove his point, Swiss grumbles into Dew’s chest and throws a vague thumbs up at the camera, making both other ghouls laugh. “I love both of you, too. Goodbye, darlings.”

Dew hums and the screen goes dark, so he turns his attention back to Swiss. “How do you feel?”

He’s met with another muffled groan, so he keeps scratching the multi ghoul’s head to calm him down. It’s lazy aftercare, Dew knows that, but he’s sore too and they’re both a little too fucked out to care. “Wanna go back to sleep? Just for a little while?”

Swiss hums affirmatively and allows Dew to manhandle him into a comfortable position; head resting on Dew’s chest and legs twined together, arms wrapped around the fire ghoul’s small waist. Both of them pass out quickly, warm and safe in one another’s hold.

When they wake up, it’s Dew who stirs first, purring softly at Swiss’ sturdy arms still wrapped around him. From the way the sun is angled through the window, they can’t have slept for longer than two hours.

He nudges the multi ghoul’s cheek, and he nuzzles further into Dew’s chest. He almost giggles at the feeling of Swiss’ stubble on his bare skin, but he bites his tongue. “Swiss,” Dew sing-songs, poking at him again.

The multi ghoul’s eyes flutter open and he shifts to make eye contact with Dew, “Hi.”

His voice is gravelly and he’s still obviously half asleep, but that only makes Dew smile. He moves up a little, buries his face in Dew’s neck, and places chaste kisses on the soft skin. “I love you,” he mumbles, quiet and almost shy.

Dew flushes red and stutters, “I— um, I love you, too,” he mumbles back as his body heats up, flustered. He feels Swiss smile against his skin, maybe a little smug at how warm Dew feels at his words.

“Should we get up?” He says, the movement of his lips tickling Dew’s sensitive neck. The fire ghoul nods and sits up, pulling Swiss with him, “Hungry?”

Dew nods again and Swiss removes himself from the ghoul’s neck to look at his face, and he snorts at how red he still looks.

“Do I need to punch you?” He mumbles.

“If you do it with your lips, yeah,” Swiss grins, dopey and adoring, at the fire ghoul as he brings him in for a soft kiss. Dew melts into it easily and lets the feeling of Swiss’ hand cradling almost half of his face drag him into bliss, purring into the kiss.

Despite how soft and sweet it is, they’re both out of breath by the time they part, and Dew breathes out a laugh onto Swiss’ lips. He untangles himself from the multi ghoul and stretches, wincing just a little — he’s still pretty sore. Swiss, still laying on the bed, pulls Dew in closer to the edge of it and holds his face to the fire ghoul’s stomach, purring loudly as Dew looks down at him with adoration. He presses kisses up Dew’s body, his stomach, ribcage, the scars under his chest, then his collar, before sitting himself upright and holding Dew’s cheeks with his hands, kissing him softly again.

“What’s gotten into you?” Dew giggles out, wrapping his arms around Swiss’ neck.

The multi ghoul shrugs, “Dunno. Maybe it was the sex earlier,” he responds, “I’m allowed to be loving!” He stands from the bed and Dew pouts, just a little, as he has to move his arms.

“Clothes, then food.”

Swiss slumps over in disappointment, “No shower first?”

Dew cocks an eyebrow at him. Swiss isn’t the kind of ghoul to shower in the morning — though it isn’t really morning anymore. “I didn’t think you’d want to, but—”

“Great!”

The fire ghoul yelps as Swiss drags him off to their bathroom. “Calm down! I can fuckin’ walk,” he grumbles, catching his footing again when they enter. Swiss turns the knob for the water to run, waiting for it to heat up. Dew stands in front of the mirror and admires the marks on his neck and chest from their earlier escapades, smiling when Swiss’ arms snake around his waist, chin resting on his shoulder. He has to curve his back a little too much to make the angle work, but with Dew purring in his arms, content as ever, Swiss couldn’t care less.

He nudges Dew towards the shower with his leg and they step in together — Swiss is grateful they have tall showers built for the ghouls, otherwise he’d get no water on him. Dewdrop squishes himself against Swiss’ chest while they rinse off, holding him tight. Like he’s afraid to let go.

“Hey, look at me,” Swiss mumbles over the pitter-patter of water hitting the shower floor, and Dew moves back, planting his hands on the ghoul’s pecs as he looks up; his eyes are vulnerable, soft. The multi ghoul matches the expression, Dew can’t stand to look at it, and he pushes his face into Swiss again. “Want me to wash your hair?”

The fire ghoul nods and pulls himself away, watching as Swiss reaches for his shampoo. He closes his eyes when the multi ghoul’s hands touch his head — he loves when Swiss washes his hair. He loves when anyone does, but something about their chaotic multi ghoul doing such a sweet gesture pulls at his heart strings in a way that makes him fall further in love. Dew loves when Rain does it too, but the thought makes him bristle with how much he still misses him.

“Stop letting your mind run away. Focus on me,” Swiss says softly. He massages the soap into Dew’s scalp carefully, and for once, the fire ghoul listens. He melts into Swiss’ touch, letting the feeling wash over him. “There you go, good boy.”

Dew whines, pushing his head up into the multi ghoul’s skilled hands. Between the hot steam surrounding them, Swiss’ ministrations in his hair, and the soothing tone of his voice, he feels that vulnerable headspace pulling him under and he doesn’t even want to resist it. He purrs and closes his eyes.

Swiss smiles at the slight, but almost instantaneous change in his scent — from sharp, fresh, spicy cinnamon, to something sweeter. Like an apple pie, or warm cinnamon rolls. He hums softly, “Rinse, baby.” The fire ghoul whines again at Swiss’ hands leaving his head, but tilts it under the water without another complaint.

Once it’s fully rinsed, he falls back into Swiss’ arms, still purring loudly. “You’re so good,” the multi ghoul mumbles against his temple, “I love you so much, Dew.”

He sighs contentedly and nudges Swiss’ cheek with his horn, careful not to hurt him. Dewdrop feels like he’s floating, safe with his multi ghoul, capable of being vulnerable. He lets Swiss take care of him, smiling dumbly and purring the entire time. At one point, Dew tries to help Swiss clean himself, but the multi ghoul shakes his head and presses a kiss to Dew’s horn. “Let me, okay?”

They get to the part of the shower where Dew usually shaves his legs — it’s a sensory issue for him. The feeling grates on his mind when he feels leg hair on his own legs. Swiss cocks up an eyebrow and holds up the razor, “Do you want me to do it?”

The fire ghoul considers it for a moment, then nods. “I trust you.” He mumbles.

The way Swiss’ face lights up is burned into his eyes forever, “Do you just use soap?”

Dew nods.

Swiss smiles and retrieves the soap, “Sit on the edge of the bath, okay?” He orders, patient and calm, as he lowers himself to one knee. Dew obeys, but keeps his eyes on Swiss. The sight makes him feel woozy. “Calm down, baby, nothin’s happenin’.” He nods in acknowledgement and swallows his nerves, letting Swiss’ strong hands hold up his leg, lathering it with soap, and he’s just so gentle that Dew wants to scream. He’s entranced and shamelessly stares at the multi ghoul, who seems focused on the task, or is ignoring how intently Dew is staring. He finishes the fire ghoul’s right leg far sooner than Dew would have liked, and he doesn’t even realize he’s let out a whimper until Swiss smirks at him. “‘S okay, doll. I can take care of you all day, if you want.”

He nods so hurriedly it makes him dizzy, and Swiss collapses into giggles at his feet, “Okay, okay.” He presses a kiss to Dew’s knee before putting it down and taking his other leg in hand. “I got the memo, love.” Swiss pauses, pursing his lips as he thinks, “You know how much I like this, right? Taking care of you, loving you,” he takes his eyes off of Dew’s face and soaps up his other leg, “It’s hard to be vulnerable. I know you feel the same.”

Dew thinks he sees tears welling up in the multi ghoul’s eyes, “I— um, yeah,” he mumbles out shakily and bites his lip. “Yeah.”

“I used to hate feeling anything — for you, for Rain, for anyone,” he murmurs, “but I was just being paranoid. I like loving you. Let me take care of you.”

“Okay,” Dew’s voice cracks and Swiss smiles at him, rinsing the razor one last time before placing it back on their shower shelf. “I want you to,” he says, almost a whisper of a confession, and Swiss can’t stop himself from pulling the fire ghoul into a soft kiss.

“Let’s get out, we can get dressed and go eat?”

Dew smiles into the kiss and hums an affirmative, “Sounds good.”

He’s pliant like this, putty in Swiss’ hands and neither of them would have it any other way. The multi ghoul turns the shower knob and lifts Dew off of the edge of the tub, moving him to the marble counter. He wraps a towel around his own waist before throwing one over Dew’s shoulders, kissing him again.

“I like this version of you,” Dewdrop whispers, “I like all of you, too. I think, maybe,” he teases, “I love you.”

It’s such a silly thing to blush at, but Swiss feels his cheeks heat up anyway as he smiles. “I love you, too.”

Chapter 3: don’t wanna be lonely

Summary:

swiss and dew have a very very sleepy day, featuring mountain

Notes:

FINALLY done with this one. i had like two whole other sections that i wrote before ultimately cutting them out, so this one is a TAD shorter than the other two!!

Chapter Text

Day three. Last day. Dewdrop thinks he’s doing well, he hasn’t had too many breakdowns and the majority of his days have been spent in Swiss’ arms, cuddled together and unwilling to part.

Currently, he’s making good on his semi-expired promise of keeping Aether warm. It’s another lazy morning and the quintessence ghoul wakes up in the same bad mood as always, and Dew takes pity on him. The multi ghoul is in the kitchen, chatting with Cirrus about something as they cook breakfast, Sunshine is sitting on the counter and kicking her legs, occasionally stealing a piece of bacon when neither other ghoul is watching.

Mountain shows up in the doorway with a severe case of bedhead and an irritated expression. He’s been awake for an hour or two, Dew knows, but he’s still not a morning person. The fire ghoul shifts in Aether’s arms, making room for Mountain to join them, and the earth ghoul lets himself smile as he slots himself in, Dew’s back to his chest, legs still in Aether’s lap.

From the kitchen — none of them catch it — Swiss grins at the sight. He makes a mental note to curl up with them once they’ve eaten, but for now, he turns back to the stove and lets Cirrus hug him from behind, purring at her graceful touches. He plates the eggs on a massive dish and turns around again, “Hey!” He swats at Sunshine with the spatula, and the ghoulette giggles as she runs away, bacon hanging from her mouth.

“Whatever, breakfast is done, ding-ding-ding!” Swiss shouts at the ghouls in the room, and Dew groans, trying to wiggle out of Mountain and Aether’s grasp, but the other two ghouls are larger and stronger than him, so it’s a pointless effort.

He growls, low in his chest, and gives Aether the stink eye, “Lemme go, I’m hungry.”

The quintessence ghoul growls back at him, not bothering to reply with words. Mountain, on the other hand, lowers his lips to Dew’s ear, “You’re so warm, fire lily.” The words make Dew flush, heating up even more and Mountain only purrs contentedly at the extra warmth, nuzzling the back of his head. “So comfortable,” he mumbles.

“Guys, please stop tormenting the little shit and let us eat?” Cirrus butts in, earning a growl from Aether and Mountain. She rolls her eyes and stalks over, standing over the three of them before forcefully stealing the fire ghoul from their grasp.

“Fuckin’ finally, thank you,” Dew gives Cirrus a little grin, and she pats her cheek — she wants a kiss. He presses a light one to her soft flesh with an eye roll. The earth and quintessence ghoul below them are staring, mildly irritated at the loss of their heater.

Dewdrop leaves Cirrus to deal with them and bumps his head into Swiss’ arm, careful of his horns. “Eat somethin’, I spent forever on this.”

“You didn’t spend forever on it. And Cirrus helped you,” Dew points out as he gets his food — an egg, piece of toast, and a few strips of the already-picked-through bacon. He leans into Swiss as he sets it down, deciding to eat while standing. The multi ghoul chooses to pull over a stool to sit next to him, already picking at his egg. “‘s good,” the fire ghoul mumbles, mouth full.

“When have I ever made anything bad?” Swiss snarks back, though he grins at the compliment anyway.

Dewdrop rolls his eyes. He leans over the counter and nibbles at his food, breaking the egg yolk with the corner of his toast and biting into it with a smile, “Stop being a perfect cook, it’s making me fall in love with you more.”

The multi ghoul flushes and laughs, “Noted.” He says as he stabs a piece of bacon with his fork.

The rest of their morning is equally lazy and cuddly, and Dew finds himself curled up with Mountain and Swiss, the three of them purring happily. Dewdrop is still painfully bored and missing Rain, so he shifts in their mini-pile and pulls his phone from his pocket.

dew: are u awake yet

He stares at the screen for at least a minute before he sighs, and Mountain leans over to rest his chin on Dew’s shoulder, staring with him. “He’s probably busy,” Mountain says, sounding just as put-out by it as Dew feels. “He’ll be home tomorrow.”

The fire ghoul groans and puts his phone down on his thighs, instead reaching for the two ghoul’s hands to hold. He melts into Mountain’s chest, fidgeting with Swiss’ hands as he admires them, and he lets himself space out while he focuses on every detail he can. Dewdrop twines their fingers together and purrs at how well they slot together.

Swiss is entranced by the sight; Dew staring at a part of him and looking so very infatuated. He kisses Dew’s cheek on impulse, overwhelmed by affection. The moment is broken by his phone vibrating in his lap, but Swiss isn’t disappointed.

Rainy ♡: yeah, sorry!! i wqs talking to copia.

Rainy ♡: was* fuck

Dew giggles at that. He finds everything about Rain so damn endearing.

dew: it’s okay i just missed you

Swiss props his head on Dew’s other shoulder and the fire ghoul leans back against both ghouls, purring softly.

dew: mountain is on my right shoulder and swiss is on my left say hi to them before they start growling

Rainy ♡: hello, idiots

Mountain groans, “He hates us.”

“No, he doesn’t,” Dew turns to kiss the earth ghoul’s cheek.

dew: mountain is upset you called them idiots

dew: keep doing it it’s funny

Rainy ♡: noted. how’s your morning been?

dew: okay. aether forced me to cuddle him because he was fuckin cold but i doubt he actually was. swiss and cirrus made breakfast

Rainy ♡: “forced” yeah right

dew: shut up?

Over his shoulder, Swiss stifles a laugh.

“You shut up, too.”

Rainy ♡: you’d miss mw too much

Rainy ♡: me* FUCK

The three of them giggle.

dew: type slower ffs

Rainy ♡: no fuck off

dew: never

Rainy ♡: if copia pulls me into one more meeting i’m going to drown him

dew: good luck with that

Rainy ♡: i do have to go again. i’ll text you later. i love you, and swiss. and mountain.

Swiss and Mountain purr, and it rumbles through Dew comfortingly.

dew: okay i love you too. don’t make me wait too long

It’s apparent that Rain’s phone is already off when the message stays delivered, not read. Dew grumbles quietly and Swiss huffs, “Come on. He’ll be home tomorrow and you can drown him in all the love you want, stop pouting.”

“Shut up, you miss him too,” Dew retorts.

“Both of you, cut it out,” Mountain moans over his other shoulder, squeezing Dew’s waist. The pressure calms him down and he sighs, going slack against Mountain as Swiss reaches for his hand again. This time, though, it’s the multi ghoul’s turn to admire Dew’s.

He kisses each knuckle and smiles, then guides the hand to cradle his face. Dew unashamedly runs his thumb along Swiss’ stubble, savoring the sensation. “You really are obsessed with it, huh?”

The fire ghoul nods with a smile, using his other hand in order to hold both sides of Swiss’ face, pressing butterfly kisses on the coarse facial hair. “So what if I am?” He murmurs back.

Swiss shrugs, “Nothing. Just pointing it out.” He lets Dew continue without another word, practically worshiping his face as he supports it in his hands. The multi ghoul drowns in the feeling, humming contentedly. “You are such a sap, though.”

In response, Dew nibbles harshly on his jaw, earning a soft sigh. “Ugh, don’t be a whore.”

“I can’t stop bein’ something I already am.”

Again, Mountain squeezes Dewdrop, a little tighter this time, and grins and the fire ghoul slackens in his grip. He keeps the same pressure and shifts his hands, one splayed out on Dew’s chest — nearly covering the whole thing — and the other holding his hip securely. It makes Dew’s mouth go dry, the difference in their size.

He takes a deep breath and wills away the thoughts that come to mind, instead opting to melt into Mountain’s firm hold. Beside him, Swiss shifts awkwardly to lay his head on Dew’s shoulder and allows his eyes to slip shut, purring softly. “Catnap?” He murmurs against Dew’s skin, and both other ghouls nod.

When they wake again, there’s more bodies surrounding them and Dew realizes, with dissatisfaction, that he’s stuck in the middle of a pile. Sunshine is curled into his other side, opposite of Swiss, grinning as her tail flicks back and forth. “Hello,” Dew grumbles.

“Hiya,” she responds lazily, nuzzling into Dew’s chest. It makes him blush, embarrassingly, but Sunshine’s eyes aren’t on his face, so he just sighs and lets it happen.

They’re all purring and it sounds like a helicopter is in their living room, but none of them really have the heart to care, and Dew lets himself drift back off into sleep, hoping to escape when he wakes again.

Dewdrop’s phone buzzes in his pocket and even in his sleep addled state, he opens the text anyway.

Rainy ♡: you comfortable?

dew: wdym

Rain responds with a picture sent to him by someone else, of the pile of ghouls asleep on the couch, and Dew groans at his phone.

dew: who sent that i’m killing them

Rainy ♡: calm down, it was ifrit. he wanted to say hi and ran into that

The fire ghoul’s heart softens, wishing the other had joined in, rather than snapping a picture and leaving.

Rainy ♡: he sent it like an hour ago. i figured you’d be awqke by now

Rainy ♡: i give up.

Dew chuckles at his screen and Swiss stirs beside him. He also realizes, unfortunately, Mountain somehow snuck out of their pile. It’s only the two of them now, with Cirrus and Aether curled up into a chair on the other side of the room. “Hey, sleepyhead,” Dew mumbles, pressing a kiss to Swiss’ head.

dew: i laughed at ur typo and now swiss is awake

dew: definitely not awake enough to read any of this tho

Swiss squeezes his arms around Dew’s chest, as if the fire ghoul is his own personal teddy bear.

Rainy ♡: rude. anyway we’re probably leaving for the airport soon, you know how copia gets about being late

Dewdrop purrs.

dew: excited to have you back in the morning

Rainy ♡: i know you are. i’m gonna pack but feel free to text me

Swiss grumbles as he fully wakes up. Sleeping the day away has never worked in his favor, each time he wakes up more irritated than the last. “What time ‘s it?” He slurs into Dew’s neck.

“Four, at night.” The fire ghoul lifts his hand to hold Swiss’ jaw, texting with the other unsteadily.

dew: i might but idk. swiss has slept all day and i think he needs some tlc

“Shut up,” Swiss groans, but pushes his face into Dew’s hand anyway. He mumbles an apology and brushes their cheeks together, trying to keep himself from expressing even more of his obsession with the multi ghoul’s stubble.

Rainy ♡: understood. make sure he’s in a good mood for when i come back

dew: always

The fire ghoul puts his phone down and shifts in Swiss’ arms, sighing at the whine of complaint he lets out. “Shush, we can cuddle, but then we have to get up. Rain wants you in a good mood tomorrow.”

Swiss hums at the notion, nuzzling into his neck to inhale the spicy-sweet scent of his fire ghoul. He’s happy like this.

It’s a kind of vulnerability Swiss never thought he’d allow himself, always caught thinking he was too chaotic or too reckless to be safe with someone. Sometimes, the feeling still gnaws at him, making him feel guilty for being in love. That’s not happening now, no, instead his heart is warm and safe in both Dew and Rain’s hands, and Swiss never wants it to be any other way. He likes feeling safe.

The minutes pass them by far too quickly, and Dew nudges the multi ghoul in an effort to coax him into getting up. “Come on, I need to stretch,” Dew complains as he wiggles his way out of a mildly-irritated Swiss’ arms, “your back is gonna be stiff.”

Swiss pushes himself to sit up and groans, but smiles anyway at the sight of Dew stretching. He wants to call him pretty, handsome, perfect, any of the dozens of words flying through his mind when he looks at Dew, but chooses instead something better. He reaches out for Dew’s hand and kisses it softly, then repeats it with the other before pulling him in close, pressing their lips together softly.

It’s more than enough to make Dew flush under all the attention. He smiles, though, kissing him again. “What do you wanna do?” Dew murmurs against his lips.

“Nothing,” Swiss says, relentless in his desire to keep sleeping.

“Unfortunately, not an option. We can go bother Mountain again and smoke?” Dew suggests. That sounds like a plan to Swiss, but anything involving weed, Dew, and Mountain sounds like a plan. The fire ghoul pulls Swiss up from the couch, tentatively reaching over for his hand, and Swiss can’t help but smile like an idiot at the gesture.

He lets Dew guide him down the hall. Eventually, he shifts from holding Swiss’ hand to fully grabbing his arm, clinging to the multi ghoul like he needs it. It’s sudden and almost makes Swiss stumble. He doesn’t comment on it, but Dew can’t see the way his face lights up at the contact. Before he knows it, one of the fire ghouls hands is leaving his arm to knock on the door to Mountain’s room.

There’s an annoyed groan from the other side, followed by heavy footsteps. Both of them have to stifle a laugh.

“Who the he— oh,” Mountain swings the door open and the disgruntled look on his face shifts into something far softer, “Hi?” His tone is equal parts confused and pleased by the presence at his door.

Dew pushes past him and grabs his hand, “We’re bored and I wanna smoke,” he mumbles, dragging the two of them to the bed.

“Couldn’t have texted me?” The earth ghoul jokes, already reaching for one of the joints he was rolling moments earlier, “I could have started without you.” He grins, holding it out to Dew once he finishes fixing it.

Swiss props his chin up on Dew’s head, “More fun to surprise you.” He replies smoothly, his eyes glued to the fire ghoul’s hands as he conjures a flame from his finger. “Careful with the fire in here,” he murmurs.

“I know,” Dew rolls his eyes even though Swiss can’t see it and takes the first hit. He gestures for Mountain to lower his face, and the earth ghoul obliges, parting his lips and inhaling the smoke with a look of desire in his eyes. It catches Dew off guard, he resists the urge to kiss Mountain right there.

The earth ghoul’s lips quirk into a cheeky grin as Swiss takes the opportunity to steal the joint from Dew’s fingers. He lifts his chin from Dew’s head and inhales deeply, savoring the herbaceous taste.

They go on like that, Mountain and Dew shotgunning more hits and Swiss stealing the joint away when he wishes, until there’s nothing left and they’re all good and high.

Dew leans forward and rests his head on Mountain’s shoulder, a low purr emanating from his chest. It’s sweet, tender, even. “Do you wanna cuddle again, or…?”

The fire ghoul nods, “Kinda.”

He untangles himself from Swiss’ grasp, letting the multi ghoul prop up a pillow on the headboard to lean back on. Mountain presses himself into Swiss’ side and pulls Dew in front of them again.

Dew pulls his phone from his pocket, almost forgotten, and snaps a picture for Rain. He tries to look irritated, but between the weed in his system and the bliss of being wrapped in Mountain and Swiss’ hold, it’s not convincing, and he just sighs before sending it off. His phone buzzes not a minute later and he grins.

Rainy ♡: cute. also i can tell you’re all high

dew: noooo, really?

Rainy ♡: you three better save some for me when i grt home

Rainy ♡: get*

dew: no promises but we’ll try

He throws his phone to the side and curls into the two ghouls behind him. The weed makes him feel pleasantly out of it, capable of ignoring how anxious he is to see Rain again. That’s one of the, admittedly many, reasons he likes it. Everything else melts away and he’s left feeling safe, if a little tired.

Dew tries to fight off the veil of drowsiness that falls over him, he really does, but Swiss and Mountain are purring and his eyes slip shut before he even knows it.

Chapter 4: just wanna be with you tonight

Summary:

dew, rain, and swiss reunite. it’s a day filled with cuddles and… well. check the tags.

Notes:

first and foremost: i am SO fucking sorry this took so long. i’ve been dealing with some bullshit lately and it’s been… tough. but i managed to finish this.
unfortunately, i’m not super happy with this chapter anyway. it’s okay enough to put out and just be fucking done with this, but don’t get your hopes too high.

Chapter Text

“Stop pacing, please. You’re stressing me out.”

“I can’t— I can’t help it!”

Dewdrop’s entire body buzzes with energy as he moves, turning on his heel every few seconds, chewing on his claw. He reeks of anxiety and excitement, and it invades Swiss’ nostrils without his permission. “Come here. If I have to watch you go in circles one more time, I’m gonna get dizzy.”

The fire ghoul’s shoulders fall from their tense position and he sighs, wrapping himself in Swiss’ arms.

It’s seven in the morning, and Dew dragged Swiss out of bed with the enthusiasm of a child on Christmas morning, just to be up in time to see Rain when he got home. He’s been pacing in the living room, staring at the door every five seconds, and just generally acting like an anxious mess. Swiss is, in polite terms, sick of it.

He squishes Dewdrop to his chest, tight and unyielding until he stops fidgeting and goes mostly limp. “There you go,” he purrs, “you have nothing to worry about, baby.” Swiss coos quietly, brushing through his hair and pressing on that spot on Dew’s neck that calms him down, rubbing gentle circles into it with his thumb.

“Sorry,” Dew breathes into his chest as he squeezes Swiss’ waist.

“You don’t need to apologize,” he murmurs, “what time is it?”

The clock reads 7:34AM. Still a little too much time until when Rain said they’d be home. “Sit down with me,” Dewdrop orders, much like a petulant child, as he guides Swiss to the couch and straddles his lap, thighs framing the multi ghoul’s. Purrs fill the empty room as Dew rests his chin in the crook of Swiss’ neck, gilding his palms across the smooth plane of his back.

“Why are you so nervous anyway?” The multi ghoul questions, and Dew relishes in the way the words rumble through him, being chest to chest with Swiss.

“I don’t know,” he mumbles, shying away from the ordeal of analyzing his own feelings, before he swallows the fear, “it’s hard to explain.”

Swiss hums, as if deep in thought, “You ever been on a rollercoaster, or somethin’?”

Dewdrop pushes himself away, just enough to look Swiss in the eyes as he cocks his head sideways, ”No?” He pouts when the multi ghoul chuckles at his response.

“There’s this pit of anxiety that you get before you get on, but you’re also… y’know, excited. Is it anything like that?” His tone is quiet, gentle, genuinely trying to understand. Dew feels his heart warm at the notion.

He smiles, stupidly in love, “Yeah. Yeah, I think it is.”

Their lips meet in the middle for a sweet little kiss, chaste and soft, and Dew can feel the tension leave his body. A sigh leaves his lips when they part, ghosting over Swiss’ own. “Thanks,” he murmurs, squeezing Swiss just a little tighter.

The roaring storm of anxiety in his mind is soothed, replaced by pure excitement and adoration. Dew really can’t wait for Rain to get home.

He shuts his eyes and listens to Swiss, who’s humming a tune that he knows, but can’t quite name. It rumbles through Dewdrop’s body as he sinks further into the multi ghoul’s arms, cheek pressed against his shoulder. Minutes pass by and Dew shifts, turning to face Swiss’ neck. He leans in, mouthing kisses into the skin and trying not to focus on the way Swiss’ stubble feels on his face.

Dew pulls away to gauge his reaction, and Swiss chuckles softly, “Go ahead, I won’t pop a hard-on, promise.”

He chuffs, pleased, and starts kissing again. It soothes his mind in a strange way, the intimacy of it, feeling Swiss’ skin against his lips. Giving into temptation, he rubs his cheek along the stubble that he practically forces the multi ghoul to keep with how much he adores it, nuzzling him like a cat. His lips trail up and down Swiss’ jaw as he purrs. If he were honest with himself, Dew would say he’s losing himself in it, letting the time fly by while he indulges in one of his favorite things about the multi ghoul. But it doesn’t really matter, not when his purrs are matched perfectly with Dew’s, hands gliding up and down his sides with a distinct tenderness he only gives to Dew and Rain.

Rain. Dew’s eyes flick to the clock as he breathes in, and Swiss yelps when he scrambles off of his lap in his rush to get to the door. “Fuckin’ hell,” he groans, watching the fire ghoul disappear into the hall.

Dewdrop trills when he sees Rain’s figure in the hallway and uses every bit of willpower he has not to launch at him and knock him to the ground. Instead, Rain is the one who lacks self control, dropping his luggage to the floor and rushing at Dew as if he’ll disappear.

“Fuck, hi. Hi, baby,” he whimpers, tears already forming in the corners of his eyes as he gathers Dew in his arms. “I missed you,” Rain breathes, voice shaking as he buries his face in Dew’s neck to inhale that sweet scent reserved for just him.

“Swiss, where’s Swiss—”

The multi ghoul in question hums beside him, and Rain nearly jumps back in shock. Before he can move, Swiss wraps his arms around the water ghoul and purrs, “Missed ya, love.”

“Rain— your luggage?” Cumulus raises one perfectly manicured eyebrow, grinning at the three with a soft blush, anticipating her own reunion with Cirrus and Sunshine.

Fighting off a growl, Rain steps away to gather it off the floor. “And do I get any love?” Cumulus says with a giggle, Swiss already making his way over. He leans down to press kisses to her face.

“Good boy,” she murmurs, and Swiss flushes, burying his face in her neck with a mumble of shut up. “Okay, go have fun with your boys. Satan knows how much Rain was complaining—”

“Shut up!”

“Absolutely not! You whined about them the whole time and they deserve to know!”

Behind her, Copia turns the corner with a soft smile on his unpainted face, looking very domestic. “He did,” he insists.

Rain snarls at both of them and squishes Dew’s back flush against his chest, incapable of forming an argument, because yeah, he did miss them. A lot. Swiss does him the favor of carrying his luggage, “Don’t let anyone bother us,” he mutters, “and don’t come into my room. Unless it’s an emergency.”

He nudges Rain towards the common room, the three of them trying not to seem too excited to just sit and be alone together. Dew is the first one down the hall, throwing Swiss’ door open and dragging Rain into the room.

“Throw my suitcase wherever and get over here, I could not care less right now,” Rain mumbles to Swiss, sitting Dew in his lap and nuzzling his neck.

Swiss gladly drops the luggage with a sigh and launches himself at the pair. Rain squeezes both of them to his chest with a happy sigh, trilling when Dew nestles his face in his scent gland. The inhalation is audible and it makes Swiss and Rain chuckle, but Dew doesn’t really care. Tears well up in his eyes and it’s all he can do not to rip Rain open and crawl inside him— he needs to be as close as possible. Instead, he lets the tears fall and continues breathing in Rain’s scent. He missed it so much, that heavy, post-thunderstorm smell, like a dense, damp forest.

Swiss is calmer about it, wrapping his arms around Rain’s waist, sighing in relief at the wave of joy that crashes over all three of them, finally reunited.

“Are you two going to protest if I change into pajamas?”

Dew growls almost immediately, then whimpers, loosening his grip on Rain just a bit. “Thank you, baby,” Rain murmurs, wriggling out of Swiss’ arms and practically tearing his clothes off, rustling around for pajama pants and literally any t-shirt. It’s probably the quickest he’s ever changed in his whole life, but it doesn’t matter to him, not when he curls back into Dew and Swiss’ arms with a soft trill.

Before he can even settle, Dew wraps around him, shaking like a leaf as tiny, muffled sobs leave his lips. Rain shushes him, and Swiss pulls both of them closer, pressing a sweet kiss to his horn. “You’re fucking stupid,” he whines, “you better make it the fuck up to me.”

His words sound like they should have much more vitriol behind them, but he’s sobbing and twisting his fists into the back of Rain’s shirt without a hint of anger, just bittersweet love and adoration. “You know I will, angel.”

The petname makes him whimper and pull himself away, letting them see his tear stained face. Swiss chuckles, cupping his face and smothering him in kisses, “Pretty fuckin’ crier.”

Dew laughs through a sniffle, “Shut up, dumbass.”

Rain grins and pulls Dew and Swiss with him when he lays down. “Nap?” He mumbles, burying his face in Dew’s hair.

“Yes, please,” Swiss replies, and that’s all the words they need before their steady breathing is replaced by soft snores.

Dew wakes first, as is routine. He’s still purring as he was in his sleep, but he makes no effort to stop it, why should he? He writhes out of Rain’s grasp and sits up, groping for his phone. It’s probably the sappiest thing he’s ever done, but he doesn’t hesitate to snap a picture of the two ghouls sleeping by his side. He winces when the camera clicks, loud, and Rain cracks an eye open, grinning.

“Sorry,” Dew mumbles, placing his phone back on the table.

“Don’t apologize,” Rain grunts as he pushes himself to sit up, stretching, “it’s cute.” He says, capturing Dew’s lips in a soft kiss.

A growl resonates from Swiss’ chest and he slaps his hand on the bed repeatedly, stopping when he hits Rain’s thigh and humming as he brings himself closer to it. Rain rests a hand in his hair and scratches it gently. He chuffs in his sleep.

“Swiss,” Rain coos, “Swiss, wake up.”

The multi ghoul growls again. “Come on, wake up,” Rain nudges him gently, “I missed you.”

Swiss’ eyes flutter open and he stares up at Rain. “Mm, hi,” he sighs, stretching his back out. “Time?”

“Quarter to eleven,” Dew replies. His cheek is pressed to Rain’s shoulder, distributing the fat on it and giving him a baby-faced look that makes him seem far more innocent than he is. He chirps when Rain pets his hair, eyes slipping shut as he pushes into the touch.

It’s so damn domestic— soft and sweet and tender and everything that they’d all been yearning for. Dew gives Swiss a toothy grin and he returns it, reaching out for Dew’s hand to intertwine their fingers.

Dew’s phone buzzes and he checks it on reflex.

aether (dumbass): If you’re all awake I can bring you breakfast. Cirrus and Mountain made pancakes.

aether (dumbass): There’s blueberry ones too.

dew: if u wanna bring it yeah. otherwise i can come n grab it.

aether (dumbass): And risk separating you from Rain right now? Fat chance. I’ll be there in a second.

He laughs at his screen and likes the message before putting his phone back down on the table for a second time. “Aeth’s bringing us breakfast,” Dew says, “how much do you wanna bet he’s gonna stall and stay in here as long as he can?”

“It’s Aether. Obviously he’s gonna do that,” Swiss mutters, wrapping his arms around Rain’s waist and pressing a kiss to the small sliver of skin visible under his shirt.

Dew melts into Rain’s side with a sigh. It’s not long until the door opens, slowly and carefully, and Aether steps in, balancing a tray in one hand as he nudges the door shut behind him.

“Hi!”

“Mm, hi Aeth,” Swiss’ voice is muffled from where he’s buried against Rain’s stomach, and he makes no effort to turn around.

Dew hums, patting the space on the bed next to him with a knowing look. Aether’s tail flicks back and forth as he holds back a stupid smile— rather, he tries to, striding over to the three with his lips twitching up into a grin. “I hope there’s enough,” he says and settles the tray on an undisturbed part of the bed, “how are you?”

It’s a question for Rain and he smiles in response as he reaches for a plate on the tray— blueberry pancakes, easily one of his favorite foods. “Good, thanks for breakfast,” he leans over to peck Aether on the lips, “and yes, before you ask, you can stay here for a little while. As long as these two don’t complain.”

Dew groans and flexes his fingers, making grabby-hands at the tray that’s just barely out of his reach, “Gimme a plate and you can stay,” he mutters, eyeing Aether. He laughs, handing off a plate to him without a complaint. There’s two left on the tray, one for Swiss and, admittedly preparing to eat with the three, one for himself.

Swiss finally pulls himself away from Rain, sitting up against the headboard and stretching his arms out.

It’s calm for once, as they all sit and eat their breakfast, Aether asking the occasional question about how Rain’s trip went, having already drilled Cumulus, now wanting to hear his opinion on it.

“It was the most boring three days of my entire life,” Rain says around a mouthful of pancake, “I don’t know how I survived it.”

“I can think of one reason,” Swiss snarks, smirking. Rain growls at him, playful, but he backs off anyway.

Dew stares at the water ghoul, fondness evident in his eyes, as he prattles on about all the boring meetings and discussions he had to endure. Eventually, he watches when Swiss gathers their now-empty plates and stacks them on the tray for Aether to take with him when he goes.

He knows he’s purring as his face is pressed into Rain’s shoulder again, his eyes shut, but there’s no desire to stop the vulnerable sound his body is making and he feels… so safe. He opens his eyes again to Aether standing from the bed, content with his designated Rain-time.

“Hey,” Dew growls, “do we get goodbye kisses?”

Aether flushes and stifles a laugh. “You’re such a child sometimes,” he mumbles, then gives Dew a sweet little kiss. Then Rain. Then Swiss. “Have fun,” he winks at Rain, “text me if you need me.” And he’s out the door in an instant, taking the empty tray with him.

They melt back into each other immediately. Dew purrs steadily while he moves to straddle Rain’s lap, and Swiss holds the water ghoul from behind, arms wrapped around his waist. “I missed you so much,” Dew whispers into his ear, chin resting in the crook of his neck.

“I missed you, too, gremlin.” Rain nudges him away and cups Dew’s face in his hands. Dew sighs, happy, and lets himself drift away in the current of Rain around him.

Then a wave of heat wracks through his body and Dew’s stomach drops.

Not now, he screams at himself, I wanted today to be about him. Unfortunately, the other two ghouls are extremely well attuned to his needs. Dew hides his face in Rain’s neck and whines. “I’m sorry.”

“Actually, I was hoping this would happen,” Rain says, calm as ever. “You never keep track of it, so… I try to.”

Dew pulls back, incredulous and glaring, “Why didn’t you say something?”

“You’re cuter when you aren’t expecting it,” Swiss provides, easily sliding his lips against Dew’s. He can’t possibly control the way he whimpers and melts into Rain’s arms. “How bad are you now? One to ten,” Swiss raises an eyebrow.

“I dunno, a four… I wanna keep cuddling,” he mumbles back in reply. He’s not even close to achy yet, at most he feels a little need for more intimacy. “Take off your shirt.” He orders

“That doesn’t seem like—”

“I wanna feel your skin on mine,” Dew interrupts, pulling his own off.

Rain sighs and obliges, lifting his shirt over his head and throwing it on the floor. When he wraps his arms around Dewdrop again, the fire ghoul purrs at the cool skin on his own, which is steadily heating. Dew pulls Swiss’ arms around him, around Rain, and the itchy sensation under his skin fades. He has his mates, he’ll be okay.

He giggles at the way Rain nestles against his neck and his nose tickles his scent glad, he can even hear how deeply Rain keeps inhaling. “You smell good,” he purrs, muffled, because his mouth is still tucked into Dew’s skin. Dew feels the smile that creeps on Rain’s face at the way he warms up.

Dew chooses not to reply. His brain is already starting to work at half capacity, diving head first into his heat, and he swallows a whine when Swiss’ hands squeeze his waist just right.

The achiness creeps up on him, the need, the desperation. His hips move without him telling them to, grinding on Rain’s, stuttering and slow.

“Dew,” Rain growls, a warning, and he stops, but not before a whine slips out of his mouth. “You can ask.” It’s an order, not reassurance, it makes him boil in the very best way.

Swiss stares at him, over Rain’s shoulder, eyes dark and wanting, “Go on. Ask for it.”

They love teasing him like this, when he’s in heat, he gets so desperate and pliable, he’s well aware they can’t resist it. Still, the shame is equally delicious and painful as the words come out of him on their own, “Please, touch me.”

The multi ghoul, still staring, bares his teeth in a predatory grin and starts tugging Dew’s pajama pants off, “Lift him up, Rain?” He murmurs, shifting to a much softer tone with him. Rain does, with a little help from Dew, pulling him off just enough to shimmy out of them awkwardly. There’s a wet patch where his boxers would have been, if he’d worn any last night, but when Swiss and Rain both oogle it with lust in their eyes, the embarrassment melts away.

He’s hot now, skin boiling and itchy and uncomfortable, and Dew whines in protest of not being touched, despite very obviously obeying their orders. Rain shushes him, laying him back on the bed gently, “We’ll take care of you.”

Dew flinches a little at the words, but the way they curl around all the right parts of his mind is so damn nice. “I’m gonna get up and take my pants off, okay?” Rain murmurs, and Dew has enough presence of mind left to nod. Swiss does the same, in a rush, Dew isn’t helpless for long and Swiss sits behind him, arms wrapped around his tiny waist, grinning ear to ear at how their fire ghoul purrs.

Rain slips between his legs, cooing softly, “You okay, honeydew?” Dew nods, but his brows are furrowed and his hands are trying to twitch under Swiss’, trapped by the way he’s holding Dew’s arms around himself. His tail beats against the mattress, rhythm falling apart the longer Rain waits. It’s cute.

“What do you want? You have to tell me,” Rain coaxes, brushing stray hairs from Dew’s face and smoothing them out behind his ears. Dew sneers at the idea of having to say what he wants, like he always does, but another wave of need rolls through him and he shudders, falling limp against Swiss’ chest.

The multi ghoul kisses his temple as he gives Rain an almost pleading look, pressing at his mind with it’s been too long, don’t tease him like this, and Rain surrenders. He cradles Dew’s face in his hands, fully enveloping his cheeks as they kiss. It’s desperate on Dew’s end and controlled on Rain’s— he wrangles Dew easily until it’s a calm slide of tongues against each other. The fire ghoul whines when Rain pulls away, even having the audacity to chuckle at him, “Shh, you want my fingers?”

“Yes,” he hisses. It lacks anything that could possibly make it seem scary, he sounds like a kitten not getting its way. Rain hums and slides one of his insanely talented fingers up and down Dew’s slit, purring. Dew goes boneless immediately, soaking wet and more desperate than he’ll ever admit to being.

It only gets worse— Rain and Swiss both pressing little kisses to his neck, too much and not enough and he whimpers like he’s going to cry until they add more pressure, more teeth and tongue. His mind goes fuzzy when Rain pushes two fingers into him, and his head falls back with a moan.

Rain shushes him again, pumping his fingers in and out in a steady motion. It’s the token prep they always do, Dew never needs it, but it’s so lovely to see him fall apart on their fingers, whoever is doing it.

His hands are still trapped within Swiss’, which feel fucking huge around his, because they admittedly are. He wiggles his little fingers in an attempt to release himself, only to be met with Swiss squeezing just a little tighter and his teeth raking the skin of Dew’s over-sensitive scent gland. It draws a pathetic moan out of him— his head falls to the side and he catches Swiss’ lips at an awkward angle, but it’s enough for him to be happy, which is really all he cares about.

They fall away just in time for Dew to watch Rain pull his fingers from Dew’s cunt and lick the slick off of them.

“Fuck, you always taste so good.” Rain’s words go straight down to the growing knot in his stomach. He stares as the water ghoul spits on his own hand and slicks up his cock, not that he really needs it with how much he’s leaking pre. He just likes it slippery, “You want it?”

Dew nods, rushed and desperate and barely fighting back tears, “Need it.” And Rain pushes in the instant the last syllable leaves his lips, both of them moan at the stretch and pressure.

Swiss finally has the decency to let Dew’s hands go, and he smiles as Dew laces them together instead, reaching out for Rain’s with his other free hand. He moves, slightly, with each thrust, a staccato of filthy noises falling from his lips, high pitched and needy. Rain’s moving too slowly for his liking, but he can’t even focus enough to form the words, drowning in his hormones. Swiss’ fingers trace around his nipple and he pushes into the touch with a choked whine.

“You’re such a good boy,” Rain praises, fucking into him a little quicker now, “love you like this, so cute.” He smiles when Dew mewls again and their lips meet in the middle, dirty and desperate on both ends.

“Want— fuck—” Dew’s attempt at a sentence dissolves into a sob, and Rain slows down again to let him finish, “want both of you, please.”

It knocks the breath from Rain’s lungs, and apparently Swiss’ too, if his blown pupils and hanging jaw are anything to go by, “You sure, firefly?”

Dew nods, frantic, “Please!”

Swiss sits him up a little straighter, clearing his throat and his mind. “Where’s the— shit, thanks,” he’s breathless as he dribbles more lube on his fingers and closes the cap, tossing it somewhere in their nest of sheets. He finally gets a hand around his dick and moans, muffled by Dew’s skin that he’s trying to kiss. Emphasis on trying, all he’s really doing is soaking it in spit and sucking hickeys into it. “You ready?”

“Yes! Please, I need it,” Dew whines, bracing his hands on Rain’s shoulders. The push is gentle, slow, but it still stings. Tears prick at the corners of his eyes and his head falls back on Swiss’ shoulder, shaking. He’s drowning in it, because it just hurts so good, it’s all he can do to just take it.

He barely registers when Swiss bottoms out, blood pounding in his ears and hands all over his body in soothing motions. “Dew, baby, look at me, look at me?” Rain pleads, and Dew obeys, eyes flicking to meet the deep blue pools of Rain’s. “You take us so well, fuck, I love you,” he leans in and kisses Dew, sinfully moaning into it.

“Tell us when you want—”

He parts from Rain far too fast with a litany of now, now, now, falling from his lips, unable to move himself with Swiss’ strong hands on his little hips. He obliges, rocking Dew up and down slowly, and they all groan at the pleasure of it all. “So fucking tight, doll, so tight.”

The name hits him like a sack of bricks and he shudders, begging for more as a string of drool drips from his mouth. Rain shushes him, trying desperately to keep his self control in check, “You’re so perfect, you know that? Oh, Satan, you’re so pretty,” Rain murmurs, breathless, cradling Dew’s face gently.

The fire ghoul whines, squirming around in their grasp before tensing up completely, clenching around their cocks and coming undone atop them. Swiss grits his teeth in an effort not to come yet, gathering Dew up in his arms and mumbling incoherent praises into his ear as he comes down from it.

“Still— still need—” Dew breaks off into a sob and tries to grind his hips down, “Please, please, pleasepleaseplease.” He babbles on, only stopping when Rain’s fingers find his cock again, swirling his thumb on the nub of nerves in circles until Dew calms down again.

“I know, spitfire, you gotta— shit— you gotta breathe, okay?” Swiss moans in his ear, straining with the effort of holding off his own orgasm.

Dew knows what he needs. He needs their knots, badly, he’s barely thinking enough to breathe, let alone ask for it, but he fucking needs it. Rain’s hand on his face grounds him, just enough to gather his brain up and use whatever he has left of it. “Knot, I— fuck, I need your knots,” he whimpers helplessly, tears streaming down his cheeks.

“Dew, sweetheart, you can’t take that,” Rain’s voice is hanging on by a thread, his cock throbbing inside Dew at the mention of both of them knotting him.

“Please! Rain,” Dew shakes with sobs, skin hot and uncomfortable and all he wants is to be well and truly owned by them. He blames his heat for it, but a sadness settles deep in his bones at the notion that they won’t do it, won’t knot him, and he starts crying in earnest, begging nonsensically for them.

“He’ll be okay,” Swiss coaxes, “He knows his limits.”

Rain sighs in defeat, lust winning over the concern that itches in his mind. “Okay, okay.” He pushes his hair out of his eyes and starts moving again, unashamed of his moans. Dew purrs again, the tears stopping— for now— and the sounds he makes turn from sobs to whines of pleasure.

“How soon do you— fuuuuuck— want it, Dew?” Swiss’ self control is slipping and he knows he’ll just have to pull out if Dew doesn’t give him the okay, but the little ghoul clenches around him and Rain, purring and nodding, even though he can’t really get the words out.

Swiss collapses and rests his forehead in the crook of Dew’s neck, “Fuck, doll. I gotta, can I?” He’s panting, desperate, and barely holding himself back, but Dew nods, trilling as he tries to grind down harder. “Rain? Rain—”

He catches Rain’s eyes and they look wild, delirious with need. “Yes,” he grits out, hips stuttering, “gonna bite you. Gonna fucking breed you, Dew.”

They’re both more than a little surprised to hear the reedy moan that Dew lets out, “You want that?” Swiss coos, “Deep breaths for us, huh?”

Dew has enough consciousness to obey. His claws dig into Rain’s shoulders and he fucking feels both of them in him, it’s so much and his brain is melting out of his ears. It’s nothing short of ecstasy, his ears are ringing and he can’t hear their praises anymore.

Nothing will ever compare to the feeling of their knots popping inside him. Dew goes completely limp as his orgasm rolls through his body, shaking with the force of it and falling against Swiss’ chest. There’s so much pressure and so much of their fucking cum pumping into him all at once, and he just… blacks out. He thinks he feels two sets of teeth on his neck before he does, but he’ll figure that out when he wakes up.

When he does come back to life, it’s with a whine, because he would have killed to stay conscious for all of that. It can’t be more than five minutes later, judging by the fact that Swiss is still behind him, panting, and Rain is kissing his neck so soft and so sweet. He whimpers again, louder this time, and catches their attention.

“Oh, thank Satan,” Rain mumbles into his skin, “are you okay? We didn’t hurt you, did we?”

He shakes his head, still floating away from his body just a little bit. “M’okay,” Dew manages, “thanks.” He’s exhausted. All he wants is to sleep. Skip cleanup and lay in his mates arms and sleep. “Tired.” He murmurs, eyes slipping shut again. He hears both of them sigh and chirps when they manhandle him to lay down. Dew faces Swiss, this time, and he doesn’t hesitate to shove his face into Swiss’ chest with a loud purr, inhaling the scent of him and his sweat. He’s sore, he’s tired, and he knows he has a few days of heat to deal with ahead.

But all he can think is how much he fucking missed this.

“I love you,” then he’s not even awake long enough to hear them respond.
