Work Text:
Tonio looked at the three other people in the room. Christmas was almost over and they had just gotten back from a concert.
Lola was serving cookies, Leon was finishing up the cards, and Prima was looking for a movie to watch.
The Opera-Singer with a Unicorn Horn was looking out into the icy night and was contemplating to their own devices. It was all static until Prima finally finished her cookie and revealed the movie that they were about to watch;
“How about we try to watch Die Hard this year?” Prima showed her phone screen to the others.
”But that isn’t a Christmas movie?” Leon almost gave her the side eye, but in a comedic tone.
The other Opera-Singer seemed like she didn’t know what she was saying, but it turned out that she did. Lola took a big sigh and turned on the new LG TV in the living room.
”Well, Sonika is usually the one who suggests watching the Muppet Christmas Carol, but she’s not here at the moment. So, why don’t we?” Lola tried to convince the others.
”But what if Avanna walks in at the least appropriate time?” Prima walked up to her partner.
It only took a second for Tonio to get out of his daze and respond to Prima’s inquiry on the spot.
”She wouldn’t be able to walk in,” The only one in PJs rolled their eyes and grabbed a cookie.
”Well, there was construction going on the front porch a day or two ago and the back is also locked!” Lola confirmed.
”So we’re good then! I’m already starting to feel the spirit!” Leon jogged over to the sofa and grabbed a pillow.
The rest eventually followed and the movie was watched in mere silence.
During the watch, Tonio managed to fall asleep on his partner’s shoulder almost an hour into the film. Leon, however seemed to be pretty restless.
She was jotting something down in her notebook when he finally looked back to see that Tonio’s head was propped up on his shoulder. The blonde assumed that he wasn’t feeling great, so he kissed the other’s forehead and grabbed a blanket from the basket in the corner and tucked Tonio in.
She then snuggled up to see Lola sleep-talking to her half-asleep partner about the wildest things that even he couldn’t verbalize. But alas, Leon continued on with his plot and said:
”Merry Chrysler, Tony; And to all, a good night.”
