Work Text:
It was a normal night at the task force. Everyone was typing away on their keyboards, and not a single word was spoken. Most colleagues had already left and gone to bed; only L, Light, and Y/N Touta were left.
No one said anything, and to a normal person's eye, it seemed like everyone was working. The two men, however, were well aware of the fact that Y/N was particularly distracted today. Every time she would be busy with something other than her work, her body would tense and she would try to hide most of her screen. It was clear to both of the men that she was hiding something, and curious they were.
''I'm going to get some coffee, do you guys want something?'' The woman sighed tiredly while standing up and looking at her two colleagues. ''I'd like a cup too, black, thank you.'' Light smiled charmingly. ''I'd like some tea if it isn't a bother, six sugar cubes.'' Y/N nodded with a grin while walking outside of the room, finding the preference of the detective amusing as always.
It didn't take long for Light to stand up from his chair and walk up to the computer of his colleague, clicking away all pages that were open and of no use to him. "You noticed it too?" "Obviously, we both know she's never tense when it comes to work matters."
It didn't take long for the detective to walk up towards the computer as well; if Light was allowed to find out, so was he.
It took around thirty seconds to find out what the woman was hiding, and being surprised was an understatement. "Well, I had expected something along these lines, but this is far from what my imagination could possibly bring me." "Ryuzaki, I'm afraid I have to agree."
A detailed document was in front of them—a detailed document about both men, to be precise. ''I didn't think Y/N was into this kind of stuff.'' ''I don't think anyone would've thought that girl could think of such lewd things, especially between the both of us.'' "On that point, I must disagree. Y/N is a great observer, and it is clear that she used these skills to improve her writing on this; the tension between the both of us is perfectly written, just with different intentions.''
For a while, there was silence as both men, investigator and suspect, carefully read the lewd writings made about them.
"Want to help her improve her writing by letting her get something to observe?" The younger of the two now asked with a smirk on his face, both from enjoyment and anticipation. "I do have to ask first if this is purely to embarrass her." L spoke as he raised an eyebrow at the boy's statement. "Of course, Ryuzaki. I promise I don't have a crush on you if that's what you're worried about.'' The detective scoffed in disgust, but before he could say anything else, he heard the woman who caused this mess walk down the highway.
"One cup of coffee and one cup of tea with si-" The woman stopped mid-sentence when she looked up from her tray, not understanding if what she saw displayed in front of her was purely her imagination or real life.
Light was standing over the detective, who seemed smaller because of his posture, and was kissing him fiercely with what seemed like an incredible amount of passion and desire. L, who was greedily accepting the suspect's offer, had ripped open the boy's blouse, pulling him closer while caressing his now-displayed abs.
The woman stood still in shock, unable to comprehend what she was seeing after pinching herself in the arm to ensure she wasn't imagining things. She quickly looked at her computer and saw her little secret on full display, making her realise they were doing this to embarrass her, something that clearly worked.
The woman wanted to open her mouth and say something, but before she could talk, she was already interrupted by the moaning of L. Light had started groping him rather roughly, and it was obvious they both enjoyed the little game they were playing. The woman turned even redder than she already was, not understanding why they had gone to such lengths to teach her a lesson.
''Okay, cut it out! I won't do it again, okay? I apologize, it was highly inappropriate of me!''
