Chapter Text

Quiet....

Dark....

Peaceful....

I glanced down from my perch on a branch of the tree, it has been a year since i left New York, and a year since i left the Hamato's. I quietly swung to my little tree-house on a ridiculously huge peach tree possibly almost as big as the Hamato Compound. I went inside the well-hidden but somewhere fairly sized tree-house just about as big as a house with five guest room's and two main one's, a kitchen, two bathrooms a balcony, and a slide leading towards the waterfall lake. you might wonder, why on earth would i build a slide? Well it turns out, i'm not the only mutant reptile in this forest. I met a geko Yokai a little bit taller and bigger than me named Rein two weeks after i arrived here, three months later we fell in love and started dating. And one month later we met Varcy who is a panther Yokai, we took her in and raised her as our own, she is now 14 years old and considers me her dad and Rein her Papa. One week later we discovered a advance-ish modern town of Yokai and made relationships there but we still insisted to stay in the tree house in the woods. Three months later me and Rein got married and we also became the protector's of the island. We then met Carmen and her husband Miguel they are both owl Yokai, and they are now our co-protector's and they help us protect the village. One month later we discovered i am a female turtle but i insisted they consider me a male and now i am eight months pregnant with two little turtles.

Now i am currently going inside our handmade house. It is filled with many memories and i hear the music cube Donnie made me playing in the living room. I was surprised that it lasted longer than i expected. “Rein? Varcy?” i called stepping in the living room. “Leo!” Rein called coming towards me. He sigh'd after fussing over me “I was getting worried since you were later than usual.” he said caresing my cheek with a hand. “I'm fine amor” i assured him holding his hand. Just then Carmen came rushing inside, “Leo?! Rein?!” she called us in a paniced voice, “What's wrong?” i asked her worriedly “Humans” she breathed out “In the shore, they seemed to have been abandoned”.

We rushed to the shore of the island and i sensed aura's that i never thought i would never sense again.

Miguel was holding a upgraded modern spear, pointing it at the intruders. Then i saw faces i thought i would NEVER see...

Mikey wakes up in a bed that was definetly NOT his, He looks around and relizes he isn't in his room. Heck he doesn't even know where he is! Just then the events of last night came back to him.

Flashback

The Hamato's were hanging out with their friends Casey and April. It has been a few weeks since Donnie had revealed that he and April are dating. Just then, ninja's ambushed them, and not just ninja's; Foot ninja's. Not long after defeating the ambush and defending themselfes they return to the compound and discover that their quarters has been invaded, they get knocked out, kidnapped and he wakes up here.

End of flashback

Mikey then realizes that his brothers (and possibly father) are not with him April and Casey are also missing so he immedietly gets up and try's to figure out a way out of the room he was in and suddenly the door opens to reveal a familiar face....

I went to Mikey's room carrying a tray of food, i was...processing, all this. I had just found my brothers, father and their friends unconcious body's washed up on the shore of the island i was protecting, the island that would soon be the home of my children in atleast five months (the eggs need to hatch first). I entered the room to find Mikey staring at me. “uuh...” i stutered after a few moments of silence, Mikey just gaped and stared at me. eoh boy this is gonna be akward...

“uuh...” i said dumbly after a few moments of silence. I didn't actually have a plan as to what i would say or do when they wake up. Mikey just stares at me, mouth hanging slack a bit. “Hi?...” i mentally face palmed myself, Why did i say that?! “Pleasedon'tfreakout” i said as quick as i could. Idiot! Ofcourse he would freak out! There's litterally a mutant talking walking turtle in front of him! i thought to myself. Mikey just stares for a few seconds, i assumed he did not know what to do, and to be honest neither did i. Just as Mikey was about to speak “Leo?” Rein called coming in “You ok in her-” he stopped as soon as he saw Mikey who just blinked when he saw him. Rein sigh'd “Leo, are you ok?” he said taking the tray in my hand and putting it on the table cautiously glancing at Mikey. “Honestly i feel like i'm going to faint” i sigh'd pinching the bridge of my nose, i had, not too long ago, told Rein of the time i spent there in NYC and of the people i met there, Mikey visibly gulp's and say's “Leo? That's you right?” he say's cautiously, god kill me now, “If you mean my name? yes. If you're talking about the mutant turtle you claimed to be your brother who was thought to have no intelegence but somehow either escaped or got kidnapped then, also yes.” i said blankly. We were then interupted by a scream followed by several yelp's coming from the hallway and all of us reached to cover our ears “looks like someone's woke up on the wrong side of the tree” i said uncovering my non-existant ears. We went outside to the hallway to find Casey holding up one of the pictures trying to threaten Varcy. “Don't touch that!” she yelped snatching away the picture of us celebrating my birthday and carefully placing it back on the desired spot, she turned to me saying “Dad i don't know how you dealt with them your whole life” she said plainly, “wait- what?!” Mikey asked looking at me dumbfounded but he was ignored, i shook my head and said “Honey you have no idea. I was once shot in the shell on one of my patrols” i sigh'd remembering the old rat who raised and nurtured me lecturing me while carefully prying out the bullet’s. “Man, the people there sound awful.” she sigh'd, Rein sigh'd, god this was turning into a sigh fest. I sensed three familiar aura's aproaching and counted down “Three...Two...One” as if on cue Donnie, Raph, and April came in from the windows “Jeez! Dad how did you deal with humans always crashing through the windows?!” Varcy said and she turned to the humans “And you! The doors aren't locked you know!” she states opening and closing one of the doors as if to mark her point. “Varcy, they are ninja's it's normal for them to assume the door's are locked and that they have to find another way to get out.” i said as plain as someone would say their name to someone who already knows them. “Honey, we'll take care of this and you go rest.” Rein said taking me by my shoulders “Excuse me?!” Mikey exclaims beside us “Honey?!- Leo are you dating him?!” he ask's looking like he just missed his brothers birthday “They're married actually” Varcy explains as Mikey chokes on his saliva “MARRIED?!” he ask's and looks at me betrayed “Your saying i missed my seemingly not dead mutant turtle brother's first love, date and marriage?!” “uh... Yes?” Varcy deadpans. I facepalmed and suddenly felt a sharp pain in my stomach, “oh shit- ” i said clutching my stomach ignoring my dissrespectfull wording “wait- it's that time?!” Varcy says going into panic mode. “What time?!” a already-in-panic-mode Mikey ask's “yes i believe so!” i wheezed “OH MY LORD HE'S GOING INTO LABOR ” Rein says quickly dialing Carmen and Miguel “WHAT?!” Mikey ask's “EXCUSE ME?!” a very confused Donnie exclaims “HE'S PREGNANT IDIOT!” Varcy shouts getting suplies “WHAT?!” the human's asked “MY SON IS WHAT?!” there he was, the great Hamato Yoshi but i couldn't bring myself to care right now. Carmen comes rushing inside and pick's me up “VARCY GET THE SUPLIES!” Rein shouts to be heard in the chaos “WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M DOING PAPA?!”.

After 1 hour of chaos and pain....

The next thing i knew was that i was laying in a hospital bed with two precious turtle eggs. Giving birth was certainly a very painful experience, but the aftemath was worth the pain.

Now i have to face my brothers and father. i sigh'd, Master Splinter let your soul be with me.

Chapter Text

I get out limping slightly, the eggs in hand, eyebags, and Rein guiding me to the exit. We head towards a flying car and go inside where Varcy is waiting in the passengers seat, “Hey Varc.” i said sleepily. “Hey dad, you good?” she asked “m’ fine” i closed my eyes and started to drift to sleep “Ok, let's go papa” i heard Varcy say and the car started to move and there i drifted to sleep.

I woke up with Varcy shaking me awake “Dad? Dad wake up, we're here.” she said softly, i could only reply with a “mhmm...” as i sleepily stood up “Papa has the egg's ” she said as she helped me walk towards the entrance of our ‘house in the tree's’ as she used to call it. “We're gonna take the teleportation capsule ok?” “m’ k” we then entered the capsule big enough to fit an elephant and still have room, we enter the living room to find Donnie, Raph, Mikey, and Hamato Yoshi on the couch and April and Casey on chairs at each end of the coffee table. And once again i could not pay attention to my father's sensei, the owner of half the blood running through my veins, as i was extremely tired so i could not focus my brain on almost anything. Varcy lead's me to Rein and My room and gently lays me down leaving with a “sleep well dad”.

Varcy walks to the living room and sits at the couch on the opposite side of the Hamato’s, Rein join’s her not long after. The silence consumed the living room, Rein was the first to speak starting with clearing his throat “So you must be the Hamato’s, i’m Rein Katsinichi, and this is our adopted daughter Varcy.” he said gesturing to Varcy who was sitting crossed legged and crossing her arms analyzing them. “And you are?” he asked pressing his fingers together in his lap, “Donnatello Hamato.” “Raph” “Michealangelo, but you can call me Mikey” “April O’Neil, April is fine though” “Casey Jones” “Hamato Yoshi, pleasure to meet you.” Varcy studied them, not seeming to find any ill intentions, she sat up straighter “I’m guessing you two are not Hamatos?” she asked gesturing to April and Casey. April and Casey shared a look and shook their heads “thought so” Varcy closed her eyes and thought ‘So we have four Hamatos a Jones and a O’Neil, hmm...’ Raph slammed his hands on the table “Alright, what's your deal?!” he shouted earning a angry ‘shh!’ from Varcy. “Dad is sleeping” she says “He 'ain’t even your real dad!” Raph argues “Raphael!” snapped Yoshi “We are guest's, we must treat our new family with respect” the wise man continues, “I apologize for my son's behavior” he says turning to Rein. “It’s alright, we understand your new to this... Whole situation. But, i would like to propose a truce.” Rein says carefully choosing his words “What kind of truce?” Donnie ask’s “Leo has been a bit insecure about you finding him because of... I will put it simply and say, he was scared of the EPF finding him and putting you in danger.” Rein explains and the humans nod “So we make a truce, we try to get along for Leo’s sake. Deal?” the lizard continued offering his hand the Hamato’s looked at each other and nodded, if it would make Leo happy then they will try to get along with their ‘new family’ “Deal.” Donnie says shaking his hand.

Chapter Text

“Do we have to?” Varcy groans, a little while after I had woken up, I insisted that they bond with my ‘biological family’. “Yes Varcy” i reply, Rein was easy enough to convince as he is now with Father who kept insisting i call him that, but it seemed Varcy didn't trust my said family. “I can take care of myself, you need to atleast trust one of the brothers” i tell her, still she does have to go to school and i need atleast a month for recovery and Rein has the patrols going on, finally when Varcy submits i let her pick who she is bonding with.

Donnie walks out of the teleporter and into the back seat, “Just so you know, i’m only doing this for Dad” Varcy says, the pair stays in silence as they drive to the city, once they arrive they go to the science fair, “you're into science?” Donnie asks looking in wonder at the multiple science experiments “Yeah, whats it to you?” Varcy replies “I’m also into science, i work on lots of things with my girlfriend, April” Varcy looks at him with interest, maybe this night won't be as boring as she thought.

Chapter Text

The science fair had multiple things for show, robots, mechs, chemicals, and even advanced guns! Though they are only showing them. Varcy has never had this fun since her birthday! Ok, maybe that was a lie, but still! Having someone who fully understands what she's talking about is just, awesome! Sure her dad has lots of knowledge about these type of things too, but Donnie just... Gets her, like, he fully understands what she's talking about and even adds suggestions that improve the gadget more! Not like her Dad doesn't already do that.

“So, what are you and your girlfriend working on?” Varcy asks curiously, sitting on a bench with her (Now favorite) Uncle “We're currently studying Ultrom Energy, how it works and where it comes from” (Just please pretend he doesn't know that Leo is the unwilling provider) Donnie replies casually sitting beside her. Varcy’s face considerably darkens as she remembers what her Dad told her about that particular energy source, Donnie notices this and looks at her “Is something wrong?” he asks hesitantly, it was obvious just by looking at her, shoulders tense, frame stiff, and face darkened, there was definitely something bothering her “Nothing, just-...” Varcy hesitates, should she? Well, her dad was the one who said she needed to trust one of them, plus, he would get her, right? Right. “Ultrom Energy...” she sucks in a breath, nervous pondering weather to tell him or not “Hey, hey, if you don't wanna say anything it's fine” Donnie says soothingly rubbing her back, if she didn't wan’t to that was fine, he would put aside his wants and curiosity to make sure his new family is ok “It's fine...” she takes a deep breath and continues, in a voice so low Donnie could barley hear her “Ultrom energy... Is the product of Dad’s blood”

“Ultrom energy... Is the product of dad... Of Leo’s blood” Donnie is in shock, that energy... Came from Leo? “O-oh, oh my- Varcy... I am so sorry” Donnie could throw up, who would do such a cruel act?! And to his brother too! Then it clicked, if that's how they made Ultrom Energy... Oh god, just exactly how much blood did they take from his brother? How much did he have to endure and suffer? It made him sick, thinking of his brother strapped to an examination table with tubes sucking his blood out, he very clearly remembers Ultrom energy being made only a solid two or three years after Leo was mutated, he wanted to throw up, Leo was just a child when this happened! How could they- why would they hurt a freaking child?! Don't they know he has feelings too?! If they were experimenting on him they should have noticed he was sentiment! Or at the very least- Varcy takes his hand and squeezes it pulling him out of his spiral, “Hey, you ok?” she asks gently, concern filling her gaze “yeah, yeah, i- i’m fine...” Donnie replies mind still partially stuck on what horrors his brother went through, just how was he still trusting them after that?! “its... Pretty hard to believe that he... He's still ok and can trust humans, just like that” Varcy says, Donnie can see tears start to form in her eyes, sympathy and guilt flood into him like a faucet being turned on with the sink clogged “I’m sorry” he says again “it's fine really, well, atleast dad says it is... But seriously, you should worry more about weather you told you girlfriend you were going out or not” they both chuckle lightly.

The rest of that afternoon was spent with them enjoying the science fair and gadgets that were there, they both decided that they’ll take it slow in going home, talking about their inventions and plans for them. Varcy thinks that this day, was definitively one of the best days ever. Even though she had to accompany him to the males bathroom because he threw up at the mere mention of Ultrom Energy.

Chapter Text

Rein is walking back from patrol, it was quite boring, nothing to do but observe, though he loves the relaxing sounds the forest makes, he cannot relax with humans near his family and city, he spots the said ‘Father’ of Leo who glances at him and smiles “Come” he beckons “sit and let us have some tea” Rein hesitates but sits anyways, they sip their tea quietly “You are quite the quiet one” Yoshi observes, sipping his tea “That was also what my father said” Rein replies smiling fondly at the memory. “Your father must have been extremely fond of you for you to speak of him like you do, or perhaps both ways” Yoshi says, Rein wonders if the man can read minds.

They sit in silence for a few more minutes, listening

“What is he like? My fourth son?” Yoshi blurts out suddenly, Rein once again hesitates “He is the kindest, most noble, and honest person a living being can be, he lights up the dark, and chased away the evil in my heart, I once wanted to murder someone for killing my father, but he stopped me, saying if I do that, I would become as much as a murderer as him. He brought light to the path of darkness that I take, and I hope he will be with me forevermore” he says fondly, Yoshi smiles and stands up “You two are perfect for each-other” he says and walks away, Rein's eyes widen as he realizes that Yoshi was testing him, he chuckles to himself and continues drinking his tea, relaxed at the knowledge that Leo's father indeed is a true father.

Chapter Text

I will sadly not be continuing this. I had high hopes for this series and work and so many ideas. But unfortunately responsibilities require my full attention.

I will be abandoning this work and anyone who wishes to continue it may do so. I might continue in the far future where I am not struggling with algebra.

Very sorry for this inconvenience.
