Chapter Text

-”Today was so much fun, Shoto,” Fuyumi said fondly to her younger brother as they were walking down the dark street along with Natsou. Natsou faked a yawn, “..Yeah but it would have been better if it weren’t for some random kid pointing a laser at the screen”

As they were walking Fuyumi’s phone buzzed in her coat pocket, as she pulled it out. Her expression turned into a bittersweet sigh as she looked at it. Natsou who noticed looked at her suspiciously. “Who’s it from?”

“Dad. He wants us to bring Shoto back be- She was interrupted by Natsou as he groaned loudly. -”Seriously?! That old man really needs to learn to let our Shoto, have some fun for once!” He unknowingly grabbed Shoto holding him by the side as if he would disappear.

Shoto looked at him with an awkward expression, as Natsou noticed as he practically flushed releasing Shoto. Shoto sighed, “Look I really appreciate what you two are trying to do for me but- A loud scream shrill scream interrupted him as the Todoroki siblings froze.

- “PLEASE LET ME GO! I’LL GIVE YOU MY MONEY! DON’T HURT ME!”

Fuyumi and Natsou didn’t hesitate to join their brother who was already running towards the scene. But what he saw made him more confused. But he didn’t let his guard down, already activating his ice quirk as he was staring down the villain.

“Let that civilian go Dabi!”
Dabi rolled his eyes as he stood up with a shrug. “Relax hero. I was just getting my daily pay check” The civilian who saw this as opening quickly ran past the villain not paying any mind to the other two civilians behind the hero.

Dabi seemed to notice Fuyumi and Natsou standing near Shoto as that only made him laugh. “What? I let him go. So now what? Gonna capture me so your siblings can take a picture?” He mocked.

Fuyumi, Natsou, and Shoto didn’t move as Shoto kept his glare on him. “You are gonna come quietly back with us to the police. If you corporate i could perhaps convince them to give you a lighter sentence for you’re crimes”

“Aw.. Shoto what an amazing- hero speech!” Fuyumi and Natsou both praised as Shoto began to blush in a bright red color.

“A pretty boring hero speech if you ask me. From someone who watched the U.A's sports festival half a year ago, seeing how you didn’t want to use the old man’s quirk” Dabi interrupted.

“I had enough of this guy let’s just- “Take me to the police? ~Oh you three really are still glued to the whole ‘Hero’ society huh?” Dabi questioned as he slowly approached them.

“What are you talking about?” Fuyumi asked carefully while also allowing her quirk to turn on standing a bit closer to Shoto.

Dabi stopped. As he tapped his chin pretending he was thinking, “Oh I don't know.. Maybe a hero who protects everyone as his children rather than others. Or forcing a quirk marriage just to have a child strong enough to defeat the former number 1 hero”

The three of them froze as Fuyumi dropped her ice quirk carefully approaching dabi. “How…how do you know about that?” her voice was on the verge of breaking hoping he was just some villain that heard about it.

“You could say I got some info from a very old friend,” Dabi said with a dark grin in his eyes. Shoto created a small fire on his left side, while also having his right side ready to surmage dabi in ice.
Noticing their confused and suspicious expressions, Dabi smirked as he lifted up his left hand allowing blue fire to appear.

“I’m honestly really sad it took you three this long to figure it out. But oh well! All good surprises musn’t be rush”

“t-Toya..??” She whispered. Shoto looked at him shocked, still trying to figure out how he didn’t figure out something so obviously like fire or how they shared the same shape of eyes.

Natsou angrily stomped over to Dabi with tears in his eyes. “So this is where you've been!? Killing people, robbing everyone who you see as a weak target?? LEAVING SHOTO, FUYUMI AND I THINKING ALL THESE YEARS ARE LOST OLDER BROTHER WAS DEAD WHEN APPARENTLY HE WAS ALIVE?!!”

Dabi was taken back by his outburst as he glared. “I waited for Endeavor a whole day! Just for him to show up on the mountain. I was so upset that i didn’t know that my quirk was getting out of control before i caused that fire”

“Even if that was true! Why didn’t you try to call someone for help the moment you had your quirk under control?! Or at least have some decency to tell us you were still alive!”

Fuyumi sharply yelled tears were now streaming down onto her face. Her sympathetic expression was replaced by deepened glare.

Natsou and Shoto both blinked, since they never heard her raise her own voice like that.

The tension was thick in comparison to the nice cool air when suddenly a train appeared directly behind Dabi as the train doors slowed down. They were all too stunned in shock over the reveal paying no attention to mind as The train door swung open allowing a bright flash of green that took them.

—-------

-”How’s things going in the fantasy car Amelia?” One-One asked politely as the Woman was fixing her watch before she sigh. “Pretty chaotic for my taste, but overall pretty good could use a few more magical animals and less fairies”

“I knew adding that many fairies would be a bad idea” The negative One-One said. Suddenly four passengers arrived all at the exact same time as they were sliding down to where One-One and Amelia were. Amelia looked at them with a confused expression.

“Even after my days as a conductor i never saw anything like this” She whispered. One-One clapped excitedly.

-”I know right?! Four new problems that could be solved here on the train to provide them each a better future! -”Or their life must have been tragic or simply boring considering it’s the three of them” The negative One-One added.

“Couldn’t be even stranger than this” Amilea mumbled, before she took a closer look at them. “Hmm. They must be related considering how this younger teen appears to have his head half red and white while the other two match him.” She said walking alongside where the new passengers laid.

“However this blacked hair one doesn’t seem to be related to any of them. Unless he’s a close friend or something”

One-One hummed. “If that’s the case. I wouldn’t want the four of them to explore this train if they are siblings. I can't bear the thought of separating such bonding potential” The positive One-One spoke dramatically.

One-One pressed a button calling forth the machine as it grabbed the younger’s teen right hand writing a number before repeating this process with the next person

Amelia watched, never taking her eyes off the progress of it. “I still can’t understand how you managed to not get bored so easily during stuff like this” One-One looked at Amelia. “I don’t like to think of it as boring but rather people coming from the real world to grow and learn about themselves and each other”

“Like therapy” The negative One-One added once again. Amelia couldn’t help but laugh, as the Machine finished the last number.

Each of the vehicles began to disappear as the train appeared from below moving fast across the train disappearing from eye view.

Chapter Text

Dabi opened his eyes as he immediately stood up noticing he was no longer in the alley. As he scoffed, “Must of been a rogue quirk that teleported me here” He mumbled.

Dabi heard his siblings starting to wake up, as he immediately started running hoping to find somewhere to leave this place.

Shoto opened his eyes as he used his quirk creating an ice wall tall enough to block Dabi. Dabi let out a frustrated sigh as he turned around. “You're not gonna leave us here are you?” Shoto asked in monotone.

Fuyumi and Natsuo were both standing near his side, as Dabi shrugged. “I’m sure you’ll be able to find a way out. But until then- Dabi flashed a smirk as he used his quirk allowing him to fly in the air.

Dabi launched himself into the air to see if he could find somewhere to go, But frowned even further, seeing nothing but sand and the cool water from below, especially his siblings as he let out a frustrated yell, as he lowered himself back to the ground.

“Nice of you to join us,” Natsuo said, with an amused expression as he looked at Dabi crossed his arms as he muttered something, before seeing some weird glow coming from the three.

“Why are you glowing?” Dabi asked as he pointed at them. The three of them looked at him confused till they noticed a weird glow radiating off him as well, “It’s coming from my hand?” Natsuo held up his hand showing it to his siblings as the number 380 was written on his palm.

“I got number 218. What about you Fuyumi?” Shoto asked while not taking his eyes off his. “115.. But what does this even mean? Are we being tracked or something?... Touya-Dabi, show me your number” Fuyumi demanded sternly.

Dabi hesitated for a moment before he looked away as he held his left hand up. The number revealed 580.

“Maybe we should try calling someone, I can call Midoriya and he could tell us where we are,” Shoto suggested.

That seemed to relax the three of them as they each took out their own phones, but to no prevail as the signal was out.

“Any luck?” Fuyumi asked. Shoto shook his head, “No. wherever we are my phone’s not picking up any signal”

“Mine too. And I paid my phone bill last week” Natsuo said with a sigh, as he placed his phone back into his pocket.
All that was left was Dabi as he rolled his eyes. “Don’t look at me i’m in the same situation as you are"

~”My oh my.. Seems like you four are having trouble adjusting to the situation you have here” A feminine voice spoke. The four siblings were about to look in a different direction to find the person until a loud cough came from below them.

“Down here please” The cat spoke politely. The four looked at each other with confused glances. As the cat looked at them with a confused look. “You four seem pretty chill considering the fact I am a ‘Talking cat’” She said, feeling disappointed at their reactions.

Shoto crouched down to her. “I’m sorry we offended you. In our world some people have animal quirks but it’s the first time we've ever seen a full talking cat” Shoto apologized. The cat smiled softly as she used her paw patting the boy’s leg. “Well, aren't you polite.”

“Can we get back to what you were trying to say earlier? Or do you know what these numbers mean?” Dabi interrupted harshly. The cat rolled her eyes, not impressed. 'Why am i always stuck with the rude ones?' She thought.

The cat walked towards a nearby small mountain as Shoto stood up. “I suppose you’re probably wondering where you are and why you have those numbers, am I correct?”

The four of them nodded slightly. “Well then for starters those numbers are a part of your emotions or an emotional timer. When your number goes to 0 a door will appear sending you all back where you came from. As for where you are, All of you are in Tropical car”

“How do we get these numbers to zero?” Natsuo asked. The cat grinned. “You get them down by learning about yourself or pushing past your old differences that you used to do.” She paused for a dramatic effect.

“So basically we're in therapy..” Dabi mumbled under his breath.

“But whatever he did must have been really bad considering he has a higher number than any of you” She chuckled, noticing his number as Dabi sharply glared at her.

Fuyumi sighs as she looks back at the cat. “So where do you begin to get these numbers down?” The cat shrugged. “You’ll figure that out all in time. However i can tell you if you want to leave this car there’s a door to my right every car on the train has one”

“Thank you um..-”Samatha. Samantha the cat” she added. Fuyumi smiled as she introduced herself and her brothers. “Fuyumi. And these are my brothers Natsou, Shoto, Toy- a loud cough came suddenly from Dabi as he glared. “Dabi”

“Well then, I wish you four good luck on your journey! you’re gonna need it..” She mumbled the last part under her breath, as she watched the four of them leave the car.

The Moment they left the beach car, they were stunned to see Nothing but a desert type- waste land along with a dusty orange sky.

Large wheels just below the platform could be heard turning from a distance as it snapped them out of there trance.

“We really are on the train..” Natsou mumbled in shock as there was nothing else but dry grass and alien-like insects that could be seen in a far distance off the platform of the train.

Dabi stretched his arms. “Well now since we know what we have to do. I bid you three farewell” Dabi walking onto the platform. -”You’re not seriously gonna leave us are you?” Natsuo asked curiously while getting on the platform as well.

Dabi shrugged, “Why not? I see no reason for all of us to-

AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!

Dabi was interrupted by a loud scream coming from below the train wheels, As a person screamed as the bug started to suck the life outta him turning him to dust.

The four of them watched with their eyes wide in fear, as the bug simply flew away.

Dabi watched with wide eyes, as he deeply sighed trying to remain calm before looking at the three. “Okay you guys can follow me, but I'm in charge got it?”

Shoto crossed his arms. “No way am i taking orders from a villain especially one who nearly got my friends killed”

Fuyumi and Natsou both looked at Shoto in shock then glanced back at their older brother, who sigh in frustration. “I didn’t actually kill them! You know! It was shigaraki that almost did it!” He yelled in defense.

-”Yeah, But you were still part of the villain league,” Shoto smirked. As the two of them were getting into a silly argument seeing who was the best to lead, they were each completely oblivious as a bug buzzed loudly flying towards them.

“Look, we can argue about this later! Right now we have to take cover!” Fuyumi yelled as the bug was rapidly flying down to them.

The four of them were running across the platform trying to make it to the door. Fuyumi was about to open it when a familiar scream was heard from behind.

Shoto was halfway off the rails, his body on the ground struggling as the bug let out a maniac shriek about to suck his life away as Shoto watched with his eyes glued in fear preparing for the worst.

Dabi immediately ran towards him, firing fireballs of hot blue fire at the creature in the process, the creature screeched loudly. Before flying away again.

Shoto stared at him with wide eyes but was forcefully pulled up by Dabi as they were running back to the door. “-..Why did you save me?” Shoto questioned as they were both running. Dabi looked at him with a confused complex expression.<

“Did you really think I was just gonna allow you to die like that?” he paused,"Besides, I hate Endeavor more than you so I wouldn't allow it” Dabi said seriously as they approached the door.

Shoto genuinely smiled, as they both ran to Fuyumi and Natsuo who waited for them.

Notes:

I was gonna upload two chapters at once, but then at the very last minute. I noticed a few problems with chapter 2 when they entered this train car so i had to scrap the idea. But don't worry! Hopefully the next the chapter will be out much fast so stayed tuned next time! ^^

Chapter 3: A Fresh Start

Chapter Text

Natsuo and Fuyumi both sigh with relief as they arrive. “Now since that nightmare is over how about i open the door” Fuyumi suggested as she took sides turning it.

“What do you think could be waiting for us here?” Natsuo said, to no one in particular, watching Fuyumi turn it.

Maybe it’s an endless supply of soba,” Shoto mumbled daydreaming. Natsuo laughed as he ruffled his brother’s head. “You must really enjoy that stuff huh” He teased.

As she opened the door as the four of them slowly entered before the door closed shut behind them. The car was completely dark for a few minutes before a bright hard light came on shining on the four of them.

-”Well well! Look what we have here! Four contestants ready to play….

-”GUESS THAT RIDDLE!” That anonymous dark crowd shouted.

-”I’m out.” Dabi was about to leave but Fuyumi and Natsuo both grabbed the ends of his jacket. Forcing him to stay.

“Is this supposed to be a game show?” Shoto asked, to no one as a Tall man appeared walking towards them.

“You are correct! Now. There’s only 1 minute left before we begin so hurry up and pick a partner you wish to compete with” He explained before leaving, He was a Tall slender dezien, wearing a yellow top hat along with a dark blue tuxedo that had yellow tips at the end, completing the look.

"Hey Toya wanna team up?” Fuyumi asked with hopeful eyes. Fuyumi sighed, noticing how he simply ignored her pretending to walk away as she whispered into his ear. “If we win you can beat Shoto and Natsuo '' she said with a grin.

Dabi looked at her directly as he shrugged his shoulders, “Alright. But as long you call me Dabi instead of my own name”

Fuyumi smiled widely as she mentally started screaming in joy in her head.

Natsuo suspiciously looked at Dabi and Fuyumi who were talking, as he whispered something to Shoto.

“Are you sure about us teaming? I’m not exactly good at questions” Shoto whispered a stoic expression doubting their chance of winning. Natsuo shrugged, “Shoto thought over it carefully before he smiled, “Sure"

‘Maybe this won’t be so bad’ Shoto thought, as Natsuo already was listing over a few possible questions.

Before they could get any further the lights that were above them came up as the Host clapped his hands.

“Please follow me and I will lead you four to the booths.” As the host was leading them the car began to light up even more, coming alive as the dark shadows were within the crowd of the audience along with two sides. One blue booth for 1 team and the other red.

“Midoriya would be so jealous when I get back from school. Of course I won't mention Dabi” Shoto thought with a smirk.

The host grabbed his microphone as he spun around dramatically pointing at the four. “Let’s get to know our contestants a little better! Please tell us each your name one at a time so we can begin!” He yelled cheerfully.

Fuyumi from the red team waved at the camera that appeared. “Hello! I’m Fuyumi and i’m excited to be here” The camera panned over to Dabi, “Dabi” He said with a small wave, before The camera flew off to the blue booth as Natsuo spoke.

“Natsuo and i’m happy to be here” Once he was done speaking, The camera panned over to Shoto, “Shoto” He stated monotone.

The host faked a cough into his arm as he grabbed his Microphone. “Now then since you four are in your proper spots are we ready to begin?”

“Yes” The four of them agreed.

The host smiled as he began to explain the rules. “If your team wins an even number you may spin a mini game to watch your opponent SUFFER- I mean to watch them struggle at your enjoyment” The host said as he quickly corrected himself.

Dabi smirked, getting competitive as his hand was a lot closer to the buzzer. “Here’s an easy question. I am black and white all over, what am i?”

Dabi and Natsuo both slammed their hands on the buzzer as fast as they could. “A newspaper!”

“That is correct! Both teams have earned 1 point. One of you needs a total of 100 points to leave the car” The host proudly stated as the audience cheered.

“This is too easy,” Dabi thought. The host went through another set of cards before he spoke. “This question is worth 30 points to the team that responds first”
The tension became so thick that neither moved their hand away from the buzzer. “I have keys but no locks and space and no rooms. You can enter, but you can’t go outside. What am i?” He asked mischievously.

A confused expression fell on Natsuo’s face as he looked at Shoto.

“Do you know the answer?” He asked. Shoto shook his head, “I was never really good at riddles.” He solemnly admitted. Natsuo looked back at Dabi/Toya and Fuyumi Who seemed to get the answer as Fuyumi proudly pressed the buzzer.

-”A keyboard!” The host smiled. “That is correct!” The points under their booth went up to 31 points while Shoto and Dabi were stuck at 1.

The host tapped into the microphone as a big blue billboard along with yellow lights. “NOW IT’S TIME FOR OUR FAVORITE PART… OF THE GAME! SPIN THAT WHEEL!” The audience shouted.

Shoto and Natsuo nervously look at each other as they watch a rainbow color wheel appear in front of Dabi and Fuyumi their eyes glowing a soft yellow before fading back to their natural eye color.

-”~Ohh You two are gonna hate whatever it lands on” They both said as they spin the wheel.

The wheel started to spin as Shoto watched intensely wondering what it could be, While Natsuo silently hoped it would be an easy one. Slowly… slowly… as it came to stop a brightly colored pink panel. The Wheel disappeared as it teleported in front of the host to see.

The host mischievously clapped his hands. “Your first mini game is… CATCH ALAN DRACULA! If you can catch him before the timer is out you’re team earns 60 points”

A deer appeared in a room as two two clones of the host began leading the two siblings into the room as the door closed behind them as a screen for all to watch on the outside.

“He’s just a normal deer.. How hard can it be to capture him?” Shoto said, very confused, Alan Daraula’s ears perked up as he started teleporting all over the place. -”Oh I forgot to mention.. You have 2 minutes to capture him!” The host yelled through the microphone in the room.

-”SERIOUSLY?!” Natsuo shouted at the speaker as Alan Dracular simply just teleported to every piece of grass he could see. They immediately both started running trying to catch the deer.

On stage.

The host appeared behind Dabi and Fuyumi with a dark look in his eyes. “If you continue playing, just think of how many prizes you’ll win since it’s clear you’re beating those two” The host said darkly as Dabi and Fuyumi eyes once again flash a soft yellow staying that color.

Natsuo and Shoto were walking out the room in defeat as Alan Dracula happily pranced out the room munching on a plate of grass that a near by dezien was holding.

The host proudly walked over to the middle of the stage looking at the two teams. “It appears since our mini game took some time, how about a lighting round? Winner take all”

Both teams agreed, But as the host was giving out questions Natsuo and Shoto were barely getting points while Fuyumi and Dabi were happily winning.

Tying each with a total of 99 points.

The host faked a yawn before he clapped. “Well! Looks like it’s time for the time breaker round! Fight to death!”

Shoto and Natsuo both looked at each other before at the host, as Shoto raised his hand up. “Yes player 2?”

“Natsuo and I fortified the game. Is there anyway we could- “I’m sorry. But this is a game show! Where's the fun in letting you two quit when we have an audience watching!”

Natsuo's eyes widen in disbelief as he pointed at the dark crowd. “What audience? There’s nothing there but shadows and I'm pretty sure you’re using a laugh track”

“It's only a game Natsuo and besides, Didn’t you say you wanted to see our faces when we lost? Now sense it’s happening to you I'm surprised you don’t want to try and at least get one win” Dabi sarcastically spoke as he laughed.

Fuyumi agreed. Their eyes both begin to stay yellow glow.

Natsuo crossed his arms with a glare looking sideways while Shoto looked back at the Game show host very annoyed. “We accept.” both unaware that their eyes flash a soft yellow before fading.

The game show host clapped his hands as the booths disappeared turning into a battle arena.

Each of them were granted a sword as they looked at each other with a competitive look. The host stood on a big platform above them all. “This is one for all round. Last one standing wins on the count of three”

1… Fuyumi gripped her sword tightly as she fixed her glasses.

2… Dabi looked between the three trying to figure out who was the strongest before he got the others. Natsuo took a fighting stance, glancing carefully at Shoto and Dabi who had better chances. 3.. Shoto had his eyes on all of them.

Shoto ran straight towards Fuyumi who seemed to effortlessly doge his attacks as Fuyumi kicked him on the side. Shoto stumbled back as he ran to him again before he jumped, knocking her over as he held his sword pointing it at Fuyumi.

Fuyumi’s figure disappeared as she teleported with a groan inside a cage. Shoto smirked as he looked at Dabi who managed to knock out Natsuo out of the ring.

“.. what happened?” Natsuo said with a mumble. “ I’m not sure..all i remember was the host saying something to us almost as if we were..” Fuyumi’s voice trailed off as she looked at the game show host who was happily watching with a crazed look in his eyes.

Natsuo and Fuyumi both watched in fear as they saw Dabi and Shoto fighting relentlessly. Fuyumi looked at the host. “You have to stop the match! They're gonna hurt themselves out there!” Fuyumi pleaded.

The host looked at her with a confused expression. “Why would I do that? When the ratings simply go crazy with all this fighting, The fans are loving it!”

Natsuo and Fuyumi shared a worried expression from above as they watched the fight.

Dabi and Shoto were both fighting each other, endlessly till Suddenly Dabi kicked Shoto hard to the ground causing him to yelp in shock as Dabi was approaching him. From behind Dabi Shoto saw Natsou and Fuyumi trying to yell something to him that he couldn’t quite understand till he looked at Dabi’s eyes.

Shoto barely had enough time to dodge Dabi’s attack as he stumbled a few feet away from yell. “You have to snap out of it! The host is playing tricks on us!” Shoto yelled trying to stop him.

Dabi hesitated as his eyes briefly showed a cyan blue color. Shoto relaxed a little in relief about to say something else mentioning their other siblings but he was abruptly pushed to the ground as Dabi held the sword hovering a few inches above him.

Shoto’s eyes widened in shock trying to come up with ways to escape but Dabi held a firm grim as he leaned over to his ear whispering something.

“I win. I figured it out when Natsou almost managed to pin me down. I guess his power isn’t all that strong”

Shoto blinked, as Dabi glanced at the game host who was looking at them with a curious expression. “Follow my lead.”

~”Ohh must have been a slight problem that caused them to stop, What a nice twist!” The host said obliviously. Dabi and Shoto kept attacking each other, till they were close enough to the host’s platform as Dabi ran the opposite way allowing Shoto to slice a hole under the cloud as the Game show host fell.

-”Ow! That is no way to treat your host for your information” The host said, as he stood up dusting himself off. Before he could look at them Dabi and Shoto both pointed their swords. “Gentlemen.. Please.. We can talk about this..!!” The host gulped.

Shoto looked the host deadly in the eyes. “Talk about what? You trying to pin us against each other just for your show”

The host looked at him in shock before he teleported away from them with a disappointed expression. “Alright, fine! You caught me” The host clapped his hands as the curtains pulled back from behind him revealed the familiar door, as Natsuo and Fuyumi both teleported near them.

The host sighed, as he explained to the eager and angry siblings. “You see.., it’s been so long passagers came to my car and when they did they always left sooner than i anticipated”

Fuyumi looked at him with a sympathetic expression as she approached. “I’m sure no matter what happens when we leave, you’ll have plenty of passengers visiting you” She paused as she quickly re spoke. “As long as you don’t mind controlling them to stay here”.

The host thought for a moment before he smiled agreeing. "After this it's clear you four have earned your prize" The host clapped his hands as red curtain was pulled away revealing the door.

The todoroki siblings looked at the door in relief.

”Have a safe journey! And do come again soon! I’m sure the ratings would go crazy over a come back” The host replied cheerfully as he waved them goodbye.

As the todoroki siblings left the car, sighing in relief that it was all over. “That was the weirdest, coolest thing that I ever experienced,” Natsuo said as he leaned on the rails. “But without the whole mind control experience i gotta admit. It was pretty fun” Fuyumi said as she stared at the orange sky.

Shoto fondly agreed, “Yeah..” he replied softly. Completely oblivious to their number that was going down.

As his siblings were talking, Dabi couldn’t help but gaze from ahead of the train wondering. 'Maybe being stranded here wouldn’t be so bad..'

Chapter 4

Chapter Text

Natsuo yawned as he stretched his arms. “Seems like we’ve been here a year already” He complained.

The four of them were walking on the platform after walking out of another car. Pretty soon it became a natural thing where they would take bets to see which one they would walk into.

“If it were a year we would have been much older” Shoto bluntly stated,

“Easy for you to say Sho, my number is still stuck at 380” Natsuo said with a deadpan expression revealing his number.

Faster than Shoto could respond Dabi appeared from between them with a slight grin. “Hearing you two argue about such a silly thing, made me miss teasing you guys” He cooly spoke.

As on cue they approached the other side, where the red double doors themselves could be seen. “I hope it’s something peaceful. After the last car we’ve gone through, I don't think I'm up for falling 50 feet in the air again” Fuyumi said, as she pulled out a single leaf that was in her now messy hair.

-”Well there’s only one way to find out,” Natsuo said with a shrug, as he began opening the door.

“Dive down deep into her sound. But not too far or you'll be drown..”

The car floor was made out of solid glass, smooth enough to slide on. The room looked rather empty if it wasn’t for the fact it felt rather deafeningly cold.

As the todoroki siblings entered the car their feet slipped on the floor, sliding a few feet away from each other before they regained balance from the solid ice floor.

Just before any of the Todoroki siblings could speak, Shoto was already halfway in the room sliding back at fourth.

The older siblings tried walking towards him only to fall face first or stumble across the glass solid floor as Shoto couldn’t help but show an amused expression.

“It’s not that hard to skate guys really” He said in between fits of muffled laughter, watching as his older siblings struggled for dear life trying to not fall again. “Not all of us had practice sliding with an ice quirk” Dabi snapped back only to fall backwards sliding even further across the room.

Dabi hit a tall tower of glass with a Thud, as he rubbed his head mumbling to himself, that was of course till he saw a Smaller Version of him right beside him. Dabi immediately scooted away from the figure standing up as he shouted back towards his siblings.

-”Are any of you seeing a duplicate of yourself?”

-”A what?” Shoto asked back.

Dabi looked back at the mirror, but frowned as his younger reflection was now gone, only seeing his current look. “Nevermind! Must have been a trick of the light or something!” He shouted back standing up walking towards them.

Natsuo shivered, “Is it just me or is it getting really cold in here?” He asked, hugging himself While shaking. Shoto could see his own breath in the air as he looked at his siblings who were clearly cold.

The temperature in the car was rapidly dropping fast making them feel slightly uncomfortable despite their tolerance to the cold.

Dabi placed his hands into his pockets, trying to save any warmth he had left as he noticed Fuyumi pointing towards the right side of the car.

“I see the door over there. The sooner we leave the sooner we can avoid hypothermia” Fuyumi stated.

But before any of them could react, glass walls started sprouting dangerously close, almost blocking the exit.

“Run to the door! And Quickly!” Natsuo yelled, in a panicked voice. The four of them began running to the door and the sounds of walls appearing at random could be heard.

“Were almost there we just gotta- A sudden glass wall appeared in front of Shoto, but just before he could turn or anything his siblings were trapped as well before it separated them.

“Natsuo? Shoto? Dabi? Can any of you hear me?!” Fuyumi loudly yelled, the glass walls practically reaching the roof of the car showing how thick it was.

“I can hear you!”

Fuyumi sighed in relief, upon hearing Natsuo’s voice. “Natsu! Are you okay?”

“Yeah I'm fine. You actually sound quite near me actually but it’s hard to tell with all these reflections.”

Fuyumi looked at her own reflections that were copying her movement. It was rather creepy.

“Okay see if you can find where Shoto is and i’ll see if i…Fuyumi’s voice trailed off as she backed away with her eyes wide directly looking at her left reflection in the mirror who was waving at her.

Her Mirror reflection noticed the fear in her eyes, as she laughed, “Relax i’m not gonna hurt my own reflection”

Fuyumi took a step closer, as she inspected the mirror. “Wow you i mean- This is amazing and all but kinda scary at the same time”

The Mirror Fuyumi Reflection shrugged. “Yeah it can be”

Fuyumi sighs as she starts to relax a little, taking a step closer to her Mirror Reflection. “Well in that case do you know how to get out of here?”

Her reflection shrugged as she pointed with her finger, “Just start walking down that path and stay on the left side, but- she paused as her calm expression became a sinister grin before she continued. “This isn’t your ordinary maze”

Before she could ask herself again her reflection was already gone, as the tall thick icy glass walls towered over her.

With a sigh she fixed her long coat before walking in the direction to her left where she was told.

Dabi groaned as he just walked into another dead- end. Before he walked onto a new path he felt like someone was watching him from a distance, as he didn’t say anything as he turned the corner.

He allowed a small steady blue flame on his right hand, while side glancing behind him. His eyes caught a glimpse of a shadow behind him as he turned around to prepare to throw a fireball when he saw his reflection as he sighed, allowing the flame to disappear.

“So you’re the one that's been following me.” Dabi asked, boredly staring at his reflection. Mirror Dabi himself beamed. “Yep! Did you know you and your siblings have sooo much trauma that the train gave us denizens the chance to design this car?” He proudly replied.

Dabi blinked, taking in what his reflection just said, before he scoffed, running a hand through his hair.

“I honestly can’t say I'm surprised at this point.” He mumbled.

Dabi started walking away from his past reflection, as Mirror Dabi frowned before he reappeared walking alongside Dabi through the maze.

“Don’t you ever regret it?”

“I regret a lot of things- Seriously!” Dabi complained as he was once again at a dead end. Just like last time Mirror Dabi appeared right in front of him.

“Becoming a Villain?” Mirror’s Toya’s voice taunted again.

Dabi flinched, his right foot hovering mid step as his number began to switch between going lower or remaining the same number as His reflection continued as he transformed into a much younger version of himself the day he ran away to the Mountains.

-"These walls are so thick I can barely hear anyone anymore,” Natsuo mumbled as he took another right turn.

Normally he would enjoy a Maze like this but this was just plain creepy and unsettling.

“Aren’t you afraid Dabi’s gonna revert back to his old ways?”

Natsuo paused walking as his gaze caught his reflection looking at him with an unreadable expression as his arms were crossed.

Natsuo sighed, with a shrug. “Fuyumi and Shoto both trust him so if they can trust him so can i”

Natsuo’s reflection couldn’t believe what his other self was saying as he appeared next to himself who was startled as he was about to make a right turn.

“He tried to murder Shoto! He left you and Fuyumi thinking he was dead?! He’s killed as many victims as he was in the league of villains. What makes you think he wouldn’t do it again the moment he decides to get rid of you and your siblings and gets out of here?”

Natsuo froze as he remembered what he said earlier when he found out Toya was Dabi.

“So this is where you've been?! Killing people? Robbing everyone you see as a weak target? LEAVING FUYUMI, SHOTO AND I THINKING ALL THESE YEARS ARE LOST OLDER BROTHER WAS DEAD?!”

Natsuo shook his head as his eyes directly gazed at his reflection. “He will never do that! Sure he did a lot of bad stuff in the passed but that doesn’t mean he will do the same thing again”

Hesitation could be clearly heard from his voice as he spoke but just before his reflection could say anything else about it. Natsuo was already gone as he darkly smirked.

“Shoto!” Fuyumi ran over to him with a relief expression on her face, as she saw him standing near the exit looking relieved as well. “This car was really unexpected huh?” She asks, while also looking to see if Dabi and Natsuo were nearby.

Shoto nodded, when he remembered something his brows furrowing in thought.
“Hey Fuyumi?” Fuyumi looked at him with a confused expression as she waited for him to continue. “Do you think we'll ever get out of here?”

Fuyumi’s eyes widened as she glanced at her number then back at Shoto, a frown slowly appearing on her face, before she sighed with a smile.“Honestly I'm not sure..But I know that if we do get out of here. We’ll always be the closes of siblings”

Her number went down from 115 to 105.

-”I agree”

Fuyumi and Shoto both looked to their left, seeing Natsuo who greeted them with a small smile before being harshly shoved by Dab, as Natsuo glared at him.

-“Let’s leave before they make us do this whole thing again” Dabi spoke coldly, he seemed rather hesitant about something as he began twisting the door.

After they left the car were once again greeted by the cool crisp air however Natsuo noticed the way Dabi kept glancing at his number a couple of times, before he mumbled something while walking ahead of them.

Natsuo crossed his arms as he walked over to Shoto and Fuyumi. “Do you still trust him?” Shoto and Fuyumi both blinked as they looked over Dabi as they were walking, as Shoto bluntly spoke “He saved me twice”

“And what brought this on all of sudden? Our Dad literally acts the same way Natsu” Fuyumi said, hoping to change the subject.

Natsuo ignored her as he continued. “I’m just saying even if he’s our brother. We should still be alert since he’s still a villain”

“I agree with Fuyumi on this. I mean he’s still trying to change maybe if- Did you really forget the other times he tried to kill you and your friends? He didn't have to do it. But he did. ” Natsuo interrupted with a cold expression as he snapped.

Shoto was conflicted on what to say since Fuyumi and Natsuo’s debate slowly disappeared from his ears, as his eyes focused on Dabi.

‘Could he really be trusted?’

Chapter Text

Things have been rather awkward since the whole maze situation as Natsuo and Dabi were both pretty much silent as we passed cars. But enough was enough.

Fuyumi thought things were finally gonna get better. Especially after they figured out Toya was Dabi and the four of them were stuck on a train with no way out except getting these strange numbers down connecting them.

Not to mention things were actually going smoothly..till it wasn’t. Natsuo started asking Shoto and her about their trust in Dabi aka Toya and that resulted in a full conversation over something that didn’t need explaining.

But still…

She couldn’t help but feel even more conflicted then she was at Dad. At Least he wasn’t the one that faked his death and almost kil-

Fuyumi shook her head out of those thoughts as she stared at her brothers that were ahead of her. Natsuo and Shoto seem to be talking about something that is funny While Dabi seems to walk a bit slower and almost hesitate about something.

So when they were approaching to open the car door about to open it she used this as her chance as she pulled Dabi to the side.

Shoto and Natsuo were the first one’s to enter the car followed by Fuyumi and Dabi close behind as the door closed behind them.

There wasn’t anything extraordinary about the car except if you noticed a pipe drain right in the center.

The four then stared blankly at the nearly empty room as they made their way to the door, but just like last time..-”It’s sealed shut” Shoto said, as the handles to the door wouldn’t budge.

“But nothing else is here except this drain pipe and the room is too small for it to be a maze.” Natsuo said.

As Shoto, Natsuo and Dabi were trying to find ways to pry open the door. Fuyumi noticed some gray lettering on the left side of the car.

“You guys might want to look at this”

Dabi, Shoto, and Natsuo paused as they came over to where she was standing as Fuyumi began to read the message out loud.

“To leave the room you must tell the truth you hide from yourself, Or risk drowning in your lies”

Dabi scoffed, “Risk drowning in our own lies? Why would they- Dabi froze when he heard a sudden whir could be heard from the drain as water began to rapidly fill the car.

“Okay.. They really weren’t joking about the drowning part” Natsuo fearfully said, “We’ll be fine. Maybe if the water gets high enough we could try swimming out” Shoto suggested.

Fuyumi and Natsuo both frantically shook their heads at that idea. “Actually Natsu and i can’t swim”

Dabi and Shoto both glance at each other then back at Fuyumi and Natsuo, with confused expressions.

“We used to swim all the time when we were younger, What do you mean you can’t?” Dabi questioned.

Natsuo crossed his arms with a bitter sigh glaring at Dabi, “Well ever since you died-Well you’re fake death. Dad decided it will be best if we stopped doing swimming lessons and focus on real work”

For a quick moment the water seemed to stop. Before rapidly filling up again.

Dabi and Natsuo are both still glaring at each other, While Shoto loudly coughs. “Maybe i can freeze it”

All eyes are on Shoto as they watch him stretch out his right hand, attempting to freeze the water.

But it was no use as the water he’s trying to freeze keeps coming, leaving him with a slight frost on his arm.

Fuyumi looked at Shoto with concern, but Shoto waved off her worries. “I’m fine. But the water is protected somehow against my ice so I can't freeze it.”

The water is dangerously approaching their knees leaving no time , as Fuyumi blinks upon remembering something. “Were gonna have to tell the truth to get out of here”

Her siblings looked at her with confused glances, but she continued. “When Natsu and I talked about you know! The water paused for a split second before starting back up again. I think each of us has to tell a personal truth for the car to open”

Before anyone could stop her she blurted out. “Finding out Touya was Dabi was the best thing that ever happened to me and i wish Mom knew you were still alive”

Dabi, Natsuo and Shoto glance at that water and sure enough the water went down, by a few inches.

Smiling to themselves, Shoto quickly continued. “I like eating cold soba..” He paused, before he continued. “I still have issues about Dad but I know he’s trying to change,” Shoto admitted.

Fuyumi looked at Shoto with a smile, While Dabi raised an eyebrow. Natsuo was more subtle with his expressions.

“What do you mean trying to change? He forced you to become like me, his personal puppet, even gave you the scar” Dabi interrupted with a glare. However both Fuyumi and Natsuo flinched as Shoto went stiff.

The room was surprisingly quiet as more water rushed in now going to their waist.

“I already-Fuyumi sent a sharp glare at Natsuo daring him to continue as he retreated. Natsuo sighs, “Okay i guess, Ever since the maze car i’ve been thinking what if you tried to kill us again”

“What do you mean by again?” Dabi questions looking directly at him. Shoto and Fuyumi both shared a glance of concern for Natsuo.

“Before we even knew you were Dabi you killed innocent people. Even tried to kill Shoto and his friends. How can we trust that you won’t kill us the second you see an opportunity? I know my quirk isn’t as strong as Shoto’s or yours but i don’t want you to hurt this family like Dad did”

Natsuo had tears flowing out his eyes at this point as the water was now at Shoto’s neck.

Dabi looked at his number again before he sighed, “You know before this whole thing got us stuck here. I never really intended to harm you, Shoto or Fuyumi.”

Fuyumi and Shoto both smiled, while Natsuo's eyes widened. As Dabi continued.  “Dad saw me as a mistake so I figured why not get my revenge on him but I guess I lost sight of that and started to take out my frustration on random people but i will never hurt you guys”

Shoto, Fuyumi and Natsuo shared a glance looking at each other before Natsuo instantly hugged him.

Dabi didn’t know how to react to the sudden tightness of the hug as he could Natsuo’s tears slowly sinking into his jacket. A warm feeling spread through Dabi’s body as a smile crept onto his face as he mentioned Fuyumi and Shoto as he hugged them all tightly.

Slowly one by one they began hearing a familiar scrolling sound from their hands as the water was now dried up and gone. “Our number is even lower now,” Natsuo said, surprised. His number was now at 300.

Dabi checked his seeing it was now at 571.

As they were greeted by the cool crisp air again Dabi looked at the desert sunset sky. With a new found sense of calmness and hope.

Wondering what would have happened if they didn’t get on this train. Natsuo noticed he wasn’t following them anymore, stopping midway on the platform looking back.

“Is something wrong Dabi?”

Dabi looked at his siblings with a fond expression as he genuinely smiled.

“Actually I was thinking you guys can call me Touya if you want..”

“You're comfortable with us using your name?” Shoto asked, just to be sure. Dabi shrugs, “Or you call me Dabi still if you want but yes”

Fuyumi and Natsuo both grinned in excitement for their older brother as Shoto smiled as well.

While they were talking they were oblivious to someone watching nearby.

“How many are there?” A Male voice spoke from the other side.

“Four. One of them seems to be a little younger than the other three.” A feminine voice spoke.

There was silence at the other end for a moment before the voice spoke again. “See if you find any information on them”

“Of course, Tell the Apex that I'll be back later, Simon.”

“Likewise Grace”

Bonus Chapter

Aizawa walked into the classroom with a tired expression as his class greeted him. Well mostly Ida but that didn’t matter.

“Now everyone today we’ll be..Aizawa looked at everyone in the classroom then back at the seat where the fire and ice user should be.

“Has anyone seen Todoroki?”

A few shakes and mumbles of no wasn’t a good sign. “No one has seen him since Friday when he said was gonna hang out with his siblings,” Sero said.

Aizawa frowned. He knew todoroki wasn’t the type of person to be late, especially since it was 3 minutes to 10:00 in the morning.

Before he could ask again for further questions his phone started to loudly ring as he immediately put it to his ear. “Hello?”

“-ERASERHEAD HAVE YOU SEEN SHOTO!?”

Aizawa pulled the phone back as he winced not expecting it to be Endeavor calling or shouting at him.

“Everyone please continue your studies. Ida you're in charge while i’m gone” Aizawa said, as he walked out the classroom.

However..

“I don’t like this..what if something bad happened to him” Uraraka said, with a frown. Bakugo scoffed, “Oh please that half n half is stronger than you think. If anything he probably ran away before endeavor forced him to train again”

Bakugo finished ignoring Deku’s warning.

The entire class fell silent after that revelation before Ida spoke up. “What do you mean by forcing him to train?” Ida asked in fear, hoping it wasn’t true.

Bakugo didn’t say anything as he glanced at Deku as he stood up looking at everyone. “What Kacchan said is true. But it’s not my place to further go into the details, that's all I-we know for right now” Deku stated calmly.

The rest of the class fell into an uncomfortable silence taking in this information.

-“How do you know he’s missing?” Aizawa said, in the teacher lounge. A sigh came from the other side of the line. “ Fuyumi was supposed to come back home after i texted her on friday so i just suppose they were staying out late avoiding me.”

Aizawa couldn’t help but snicker before quickly replacing it with a cough. “Sorry about that.. continue”

Fuyumi’s workplace called me early this morning and said she didn’t come in. So did Natsuo’s University so i’m asking you as the boy’s father. Have you seen him?”

Aizawa deeply sighed, “No I haven't..But if I find any leads to finding him you’ll be the first person I inform”

Thank you and goodbye Eraserhead’

Aizawa hung up the phone thinking. ‘ Where is that kid?”

~Meanwhile~

“Do you think Dabi left the League? It isn’t like him to disappear for two whole days without telling us” Toga sadly asked, taking a sip out of her blood drink. Twice appeared next to her shaking his head. “No way! He’ll just betray us like that! Especially when he has such a cool villain look going on

As the league was discussing what happened, Hawks listened from the couch pretending to be on his phone. If Dabi did decide to leave his job it would be a bit more easier.

Unless he managed to get closer to Afo which then they were all in danger by that point.

Where are you doing Dabi?

Chapter 7: The Cabin Car

Summary:

The calm before the storm. Fuyumi centric chapter, I hope you

Chapter Text

Being stuck on an endless train can change a person. For rather good or bad…

It’s been Three days since we’ve been on this train. As for our numbers it’s been going down occasionally and then would just stop back at a number.

Shoto Pov End

Shoto and his siblings decided to take a rest in a cozy cabin car. Soft artificial snow blew outside as the fireplace crackled with warm air.

“We should probably set off to a different car” Fuyumi said, rather worried as she looked outside. Natsuo looks over at her from his chair. “How so?”

Fuyumi pulls the curtains back from the window. The sky was dark and gloomy, a blizzard blowing outside. When they arrived the first time in this cabin car the snow was light but of course that was like four days ago, when they arrived.

-” I can’t escape passengers no matter where I go” A familiar female voice speaks.

The siblings all turned their heads when they saw the cat they met before carrying a book. “What are you doing here?” Dabi asked, The Cat scoffs slightly. “A nice hello would be nice for starters..but I came here to enjoy a vacation for two days”

“Hello Cat” Shoto greets, The cat smiles warmly at Shoto as her voice softens. “Hello Shoto, I didn't expect you kids to be here”

A random burst of the cold air seeped into the cabin causing her to shiver from the cold air. “How long have you four been in this car?” She questions.

“About four days ago,” Shoto replies. “FOUR DAYS?!” The cat exclaims as she drops her book. She runs over to the window staring out the blizzard of snow blowing outside. She deeply sighs, disappointed “Well, there goes my reading..”

She glances over their confused expressions, as she faces them again and explains. “This car is like a vacation car. It will rain soft snow for three days, then it will stop and become a blizzard on the fourth day whenever someone is here”

“It’s just a storm. It can’t be that bad” Dabi scoffs. The cat glares at him as she jumps down the chair as she walks to dabi. “For some of us… working on the train for long periods of time can be exhausting”

“Hey guys, it’s snowing a lot more now” Fuyumi calls out. The cat’s eyes widened she ran back to the window, along with Shoto, Dabi and Natsuo.

The blizzard was even worse now. Covering up the exit door which was located outside, under the thick layers of snow and ice.

“Looks like we're snowed in..” Shoto comments.

“How long does this weather usually last?” Dabi asked the cat. His eyes never leave the storm.

The Cat shrugs, “Who knows..” she starts off dramatically as she continues, “The blizzard might stop in another hour, a day. Or a week…Or even a month”

“A Month?!” The four siblings yell in disbelief.

“We can’t stay that long, I can just melt it,” Dabi said, already walking to the door. He opens the door only to be pushed back by a very strong wind.

The snow begins to be forcefully pulled from inside the cabin. -”Quickly close the door!” Fuyumi yells. Shoto runs over to the other side of the door as he closes it.

“Like I said, we're gonna be stuck here for a while..” The cat hums, as she walks over to grab her book from the floor before going to the chair to do some reading.

“Maybe it won’t be that bad, I mean the storm has to clear up soon right?” Fuyumi tries to reassure her siblings.

Three days later…

Being trapped in a cabin car listening to hit against the windows, with every windstorm felt suffocating.

Fuyumi was looking through the bookshelves trying to find something else to read. She’s read a few books that were on the neat shelves. Mostly odd books like explaining how to make the most out of this world dessert.

While she was browsing the shelves she noticed a small rectangular object laying flat by a thick green cover of a mechanical book.

Strangely enough it was a video cassette tape with her name written fully on the back. Fuyumi Todoroki .

“What?” She whispers to herself in confusion. She reached for the video cassette grabbing it, a mix of fear and anxiety upon seeing her name written.

She could hear Dabi and the cat arguing around the corner. But she trusted Natsuo and Shoto to handle it as she went up to the attic wondering if there was a tv she could play this on.

-”Careful. Your temper might cause your number to go higher” The cat slyly jokes. Dabi glares at her.  “Don’t you ever stop talking?”

Shoto deeply sighs, it was growing tiresome hearing the two argue. “Let’s just-” He began to speak but noticed the storm outside was starting to lighten up.

Natsuo sighs with relief. “At least the storm is finally clearing, right Fuyumi?” He turns around noticing she was no longer by the bookshelves.

Natsuo looks back at Dabi and Shoto. “Did you two see where Fuyumi went?” He asked the two.

Dabi and Shoto exchanged worried glances, Shoto replies with a small frown. “I thought you saw her”

“She has to be in the cabin somewhere. Let’s just find her” Dabi said, trying to conceal his worry.

While the three brothers begin searching around the cabin, the cat briefly looks up at the stars. A curious yet sly expression on her face.

Fuyumi was in the attic watching the tape play. Her expression is a mix of guilt and pity watching herself on the screen.

-”Dad is trying to change Natsuo. Just give him a chance” Her past self trying to keep the peace.

Shoto, why won’t you speak to me?” “Touya don’t you like playing with us anymore?”

It then switches to her young adult self sitting in her bedroom looking through an old scrapbook. “Why can’t things go back to the way it was?” Past Fuyumi mumbles sadly.

Fuyumi fast forwards the tape feeling too close from home. It changes to a brighter and happier scene with balloons and streamers decorated in the main sitting room. With herself smiling warmly at a cake.

Fuyumi was currently watching the video with a mix of discomfort  “That memory didn’t happen..” She whispers to herself in confusion.

The tape which was once grim and real to her past, changed to a fake happy memory. “Happy Birthday Fuyumi!” Her whole family was singing, and Touya didn’t even have scars. Her tape-like self blowing out the candles gleefully.

Fuyumi felt overwhelmed with envy at the picture being displayed in front of her. Dad and Mom smiling easily while they sing, Touya with no scars visible on his skin. While Natsuo and Shoto were holding presents.

Fuyumi pressed her hand on the tv with a frown. “..It looks so real..”

She heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Panicked, her fingers pressed the erasure button. She looks back at the tape of it erasing what could have been her normal family. ‘No! No! No!!’

Natsuo saw Fuyumi staring at the static small tv. “There you are,” He said, with relief. But upon noticing her distant look he speaks again. “Are you alright sis?” concerned heard in his voice.

Fuyumi looks back at Natsuo with a small practiced smile she always wore. “I’m fine, just got a little lost in the attic”

Natsuo looks at her for a moment. He could tell something was clearly bothering her but he didn’t want to force her.

“Well, if you say so. The storm’s cleared up. So we can finally leave the cabin, "he said, lightly.

Fuyumi gets up ready to follow Natsuo when she glances at the broken tape again. Her emotions conflicted. She looks back at Natsuo who was one foot down the stairs. “Wait Natsuo”

Natsuo pauses looking up. “Yeah?”

“You don’t think I'm the reason we're stuck on this train right?” She asked, worriedly. Silence filled the room for a moment. Before Natsuo speaks cautiously, “...Well.. we all saw the train

appear in the alleyway. So no. If anything were all in this mess” He said, trying to reassure her.

Fuyumi smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes. “Thanks Natsuo,” she replies softly. ‘But it makes sense though. The train came after I yelled’ She internally thought conflicted.

She follows Natsuo out the attic unaware that her hand, dimly lit up green going up to 116.

-”Where have you been?” Dabi asked Fuyumi upon seeing her and Natsuo coming down the stairs.

“I was um..” She knew lying was bad in this situation but she couldn't bring it to herself to tell them.

“She was looking around the attic,” Natsuo replies causally. Fuyumi looks at Natsuo with a grateful look.

But Shoto changed the subject before he could say more. “Let’s leave now while the store has passed” He also noticed but he didn’t want an argument to break out again.

Dabi glances at fuyumi and then reluctantly sighs, “Fine” he said, under his breath. As Dabi, Natsuo and Shoto exit the cabin. Fuyumi’s grey eyes caught sight of three different video tapes on a bookshelf on the far right.

Each one had her brother’s name. Touya, Natsuo, Shoto.

“You know, I almost told them. But it’s more dramatic when the person finds the tape him or herself” The cat speaks from her spot in a corner.

Her heart raced. She couldn’t let her brothers see any of this. Much less risk coming back to this car.

Without any hesitation she freezes the three tape cassettes, freezing them together frozen solid.

The cat’s eyes widened slightly. Then her lips frowned a little upon what was happening. Fuyumi glances back at the cat with a small smile. “This stays between us okay?” She whispered before leaving the cabin.

The cat’s ears perk a little before she curiously hums. “It’s only a matter time before the truth leaks out”

She glances back at the frozen cassette tapes, a small frown forming her face. This bunch of passengers were definitely unique and insane.

Once Fuyumi regrouped with her brothers they continued on their way. Shoto glances back at her, feeling a bit worried. He falls into step with her. “Are you sure you're alright Yumi?”

‘I just froze your video cassette tape, that might have had life changing trauma on our family’ She blinks out her thoughts smiling faintly at her little brother. “I’m just gonna miss all this, spending time together before we all leave”

Shoto glances at Touya and Natsuo up ahead. Never would he imagine he would be stuck here with his villainous older brother or much less bonding with his siblings. He smiles sadly it was the reality of it all.

As the Todoroki siblings left the cabin car. The ocean sky was starting to feel more like a familiar sight rather than an eerie and unpleasant one.

Fuyumi looks at her brothers up ahead who were walking ahead on the platform, if this all ends like Shoto suggested… would things go back to how it was before?
