Chapter Text
"OOF-"
Orb hit the floor, scraping his knee and face on pavement. he was surprised he didn't break a limb, considering it sure felt like he'd fallen from a great height with the amount of pain surging across his nerves. he got up, dusting his green hoodie off and fixing up his fluffy blonde hair. he looked around, nothing seemed different, except the time of day, he remembered it the middle of the day, but it was the dead of night here. christ, he must have been out for awhile. he didn't even know he'd been unconscious. his head didn't really hurt, though...so what on earth was going on...?
"Oscar? Oliver? where are you guys??" he whimpered. maybe they'd been picked up by their parents while he was out cold. that was the best reason he could think of. he breathed heavily, trying to bear the awful pain of all the injuries he'd sustained. he paced around, looking around at everything, it felt slightly colder than normal for summers like this. he teased the idea that he'd been out for a whole 3 months, but knew that that was not possible as he would've been taken to the hospital by then. it was probably just the night being cold. he walked down the street, looking at buildings that he knew already. Houses, bus stops, the kandy klub-
The kandy klub?
orb walked back.
"...kandy klub...? did they open another candy shop here?? but we already have the sweet suite...!"
Orb walked away, thinking nothing of it.
he was already getting exhausted, he couldn't muster up a reason for why he was so sleepy all of a sudden. maybe just this once he'd randomly pass out in the middle of a park or something.
he wandered, looking for anywhere to just pass out and get some sleep.
he saw the local park out of the corner of his eye, running to the site as fast as he could. he got into the lush green bubble, barely getting behind a shrub before he collapsed, losing consciousness fast.
all he could think before he fell asleep was that grass had never felt more comfortable in his life. even with the pain of his wounds. God he looked like a murdered dead body didn't he. but he'd be completely fine. Oxford wouldn't mind him coming home next morning would he...?
