Chapter 1: Just Listen…
Chapter Text
The atmosphere was tense as the Supreme Deity (whose name was Rhitta, although a select few even knew or acknowledged it, the Demon King included) approached the ruler of her opposing clan. She didn’t exactly hate him, but she wasn’t very fond of him either.
There were many servants of the Demon King outside of the threshold of the door leading to their ruler’s throne, some were guards, others were members of prominent warrior forces the Demon King established, speaking with one another in a manner that suggested they were just told something important. Specifically, some of The Ten Commandments. Zeldris, the youngest son of the Demon King, along with Melascula, Derieri, Monspeet, and Fraudrin were confounded at the sight of a goddess appearing in their realm. Not just any, but one with a strong, powerful, and chiefly aura. They almost instantaneously recognized who this presence was and hesitantly moved slightly to the side, stopping their conversation and directing a judgmental and odd gaze at her as she walked their way and past them.
The Supreme Deity didn’t seem to care considering how she viewed demons as such lowly creatures, herself being the potent ruler she was.
The guards in front of the door leading into the throne room of their ruler almost willingly opened the door in the presence of the Supreme deity.
“Greetings, Demon King”, the Supreme Deity said as she came to a halt halfway to his throne, interrupting the conversation he, Chandler, and Cusack, his closest advisors at the time, seem to be having concerning last-minute battle strategies.
Both with frowned expressions on their face were quickly dismissed by the Demon King due to the Supreme Deity’s presence. Assuredly so, they left without speaking a word but began to whisper as they approached the door.
The Demon King acknowledged them but didn’t pay them any mind. After the doors of his throne room shut, he rose from his throne and replied with a cold look, “Rhitta.”
“I wish you’d at least reply with the respect of calling me by my rightful title!” spat the Supreme Deity
“Listen you feathered bitch, don’t start with me.”
“Oh, you son of a-“
“This was your idea and my time is very valuable so, if you want to professionally discuss this matter, check that attitude of yours at the door - or you can leave,” said the Demon King.
Almost revolted to the point of wanting to wring his neck but somehow finding the decency not to, the Supreme Deity then replied with a sigh “Fine. Only, if you can manage to set your foolish pride aside the entire time.”
“Deal, Supreme Deity”, said the Demon King.
Slightly satisfied, the Supreme Deity commented before the Demon King could get out another word,
“Are we going to discuss this with others around?”, referring to the guards who witnessed all that just happened and warriors just outside.
“Guards, you are dismissed and tell all others around to leave this premises entirely, that’s an order” spoke the Demon king with his grungy, deep, and demanding voice.
“Yes, your highness”, the guards quickly left and told the others outside. “Why must we leave, we’re only talking, not even worried about my father’s affairs,” said Zeldris in a noncaring tone although he was clearly lying. Derieri shot him a “you’re not slick” stare then rolled her eyes. Monspeet observing her chuckled to himself. “Zeldris, the exit is not that far, also, it’s the Demon King’s order” Melascula stated calmly. Grudgingly, Zeldris began to walk and motioned to the others to start moving but once he got outside, dismissed them concerning the matter they were speaking of.
Melascula, however, asked if she could stay as she still “had something to ask”, as she could pick up on what Zeldris was trying to do and was interested. Zeldris was fine with her staying but didn’t speak of his idea until the rest of his colleagues were gone.
“I don’t trust that scheming tall bird-lady.” said Zeldris almost jokingly which caused Melascula to laugh. “Anyway, what was it that you wanted to ask me, Melascula?”
“Do you plan on attempting to spy on their conversation?” Melascula asked playfully
“Your damn right,” replied Zeldris slyly.
Within a few minutes Zeldris discusses what he wants to do but warns Melascula that she can’t tell a soul. As faithful as she was to her superiors, Melascula of course did not really plan to but rather boredom and interest was her motive. Nevertheless, she agreed and went on with his plan.
They ended up listening by way of some type of technique Zeldris learned years ago from Cusak that’s sole purpose was spying.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Deity and Demon King moved to a different area of the Demon King’s palace because he doesn’t really trust that their conversation will not somehow be heard. In other words, the Demon King thought he would be outsmarting somehow but someone managed to outsmart him. In this case, his very own son.
They sat down across from each other on a sofa-like seat making it a point to maintain distance from each other.
“Demon King, I know that this war was partially my fault for starting because my clan was the first to initiate the breaking of the truce we had and-” said the Supreme Deity reluctantly “I… apologize, but that only occurred because- which I ended up finding out later, some of my upper goddess elites got too carried away when performing their assigned task which they were rightfully punished for, but…” “So, you were just being an incompetent leader and this whole war that started was a mistake?” interrupted the Demon King.
The Supreme Deity almost appeared to be groping for what she should say in her defense next. “Admit it, once our children met each other and my son joined your side is what mainly started this mess and you know it!”
“Okay, okay, yes, but..okay, that’s my point! Doesn’t it seem somewhat pointless to continue this struggle over them?” said the Supreme Deity trying to be convincing.
“Okay, my son betrayed my clan and me, your race then happens to take innocent civilians as captives randomly? For what reason!?! Don’t lie to me and pretend as if you are not as conniving as you are. Obviously, our “truce” meant nothing to you and you saw an opportunity to try to usurp more power than me and you took it. We were made to be equals but you don’t want that.”
The Supreme Deity at this point was biting her tongue and looking everywhere rather than directly at her arch nemesis (after all, she was being told off).
“Rhitta” said the Demon King. That grabbed the Supreme Deity's full attention as she glared at him.
“Tell me what exactly is the problem you have with me so that we can get somewhere because if your intention is to continue in your dishonesty you're wasting your breath.”
“Are you finished talking?” snidely remarked the Supreme Deity. The Demon King began to open his mouth as to say something back but before he could the Supreme deity replied while putting her hand up “I’m joking (not really) but here’s the deal, it’s not about your clan or anything else, my problem is with you.”
“What a surprise, I couldn’t tell,” said the Demon King
“You know our entire existence is for the purpose of being in conflict with each other.”
“Right, get to the point,” said the Demon King impatiently.
“In spite of that, I’m beginning to develop the idea that our struggle with each other and our clans don’t really have to be.”
“Oh really,” said the Demon King
“Yes really, I-“
“Since when are you the one who wants peace? Tell me, what are you really trying to get at, what’s your scheme in all your ‘sweet talk’” rudely stated the Demon King.
Tears of frustration started to well up in the Supreme Deity’s eyes and the Demon King remained silent, confounded at the rare sighting.
‘How pathetic, look who wants to cry now’ thought the Demon King.
‘Okay, I suppose she is a female and perhaps more emotional, I’ll hear her out, but I ain’t got all night,’ his thoughts continued.
“The hell-“ Zeldris said as he looked over to Melascula as they eavesdropped on The Demon King and the Supreme Deity’s conversation.
Melascula began to laugh “I don’t know, just go with it” she stated while laughing.
The Supreme Deity then began speaking again although tears were slightly forming in her eyes “Listen, I’m not very fond of you by nature but when I see my daughter and your son together, I can’t help but think that maybe if our truce had continued, them being together would not be as problematic.”
Her voice began to rise “Because of this mess, I’m now starting to become numb, emotionless. As if I’m not really even- existing. I now do not even have the basic daughter-to-mother relationship I should have with Elizabeth-“
“Don’t even mention her name” boomed the Demon King
“LISTEN, just can we put aside what I did and develop some kind of decent relationship leader to leader? It is seriously the only way possible for us to see each other and our opposing kinds as beings worthy of being viewed as more than dirt.” She then stared at the Demon King, expecting a complete refusal of her idea.
“I’m listening,” said the Demon King
“If you think about it, out of just about all races, we as Goddesses and Demons have the most influence concerning existence in itself. We have to learn to coexist and respect each other, not necessarily saying ‘friends’ but at least colleagues.”
“Sure, whatever you say. So, do you want to make an armistice?” asked the Demon King
“Absolutely” replied the Supreme Deity
“You could have just said that in the first place-” snidely replied the Demon King
“Shut up” barked the Supreme Deity
“Okay, bitch” the Demon King whisperer under his breath
“They’re really going to do… that?” said Melascula on the receiving end with Zeldris
“We’ll have to see” replied Zeldris. Turning to Melascula he said “You know, it’s getting really late. You should probably head home and get some rest.” “Do I have to, I kind of want to listen still.” “I mean, I’m just saying, what if they start talking about something that perhaps they may feel is taboo for someone else to know? I’d rather have you not involved. Things could get dangerous.” “Zeldris, you could be right. I’ll go. But thanks for letting me eavesdrop with you anyway.” Zeldris nodded in response and Melascula took off.
Oddly enough, Zeldris still sensed their conversation was not done and was kind of glad that he was left alone for some more time to eavesdrop, he liked being sneaky or rather having an idea about what his father would be planning.
The Demon King and the Supreme Deity did what they cohesively planned and also decided to make public the news to their clans and all others involved. Despite this, just before the Supreme deity took her leave, she still did not entirely get off her chest what she wanted to. So she took up another conversation with the Demon King “Um, you know I-…” “You what?” replied the Demon King waiting for her response.
“I uh… okay let me just be honest, there is still something I want to speak with you about but it is getting late so… would you be willing to listen and come over to my dwelling place or I could come here again?”
The Demon King grinned, “Sure, I’ll come to you. Is there a specific time or day you prefer?”
“Tomorrow, if that’s okay with you, a-a-anytime is fine” stuttered the Supreme Deity.
“Okay then, farewell,” said the Demon King.
The Supreme Deity then quickly nodded and turned away as she felt embarrassed and feared she may appear to be blushing.
‘She is one odd being’ thought the Demon King as he headed to his quarters to retreat for the night
Zeldris was kind of ticked he wouldn’t get to see what else they may speak of but at least he was let in on something no one else would know, for the most part.
Chapter 2: Could You Do This… For Me?
Summary:
Things are going to get a little…odd
Chapter Text
It was around 10 in the morning when the Supreme Deity and Demon King were about to announce to their clans the news of the ending of the Holy War.
On a wide scale, the news was received well. Especially among those of the fairy, giant, and human clans. Despite this, the reactions of the two gods and their clans mostly consisted of shock, some even confusion.
*Goddess Realm, after the announcement of the Supreme Deity and the gathering of Stigma to hear her news was dismissed.*
You could hear rejoicing everywhere after the news was given. Some higher-ranked Goddesses, the leaders of Stigma, decided to head back to the Celestial Realm and come back bearing the news. Hence, they made their way to the portal, leading to their home realm. On the way there, there was one of the Four Archangels who was quite opinionated concerning the news and felt the need the share his view.
They were already murmuring previous to what was about to be boldly spoken by Ludociel.
“Okay, I’m being entirely frank, I just can’t fathom as to why the Supreme Deity would just like that (he said as he snapped) end the war-”
“Well, you don’t have to fathom, Ludociel” replied Sariel, mocking him.
“Sariel, don’t be so harsh, his inquisition does make sense” replied Tarmiel.
“Wait, but wouldn’t the Supreme Deity have to somehow agree with the Demon King for that to happen?” Nerobasta questioned.
“Exactly my point!” exclaimed Ludociel. “What in all of existence would convince that abhorrent Demon King to agree to come to terms with her…”
Sariel glanced over to Ludociel, beginning to open his mouth to say something
“Uh- no!” yelled Nerobasta, Ludociel, and Tarmiel, already knowing what the short Goddess was trying to suggest.
“Don’t answer that. You know what? Let’s pretend like I didn’t say anything and just go tell the others” interrupted Ludociel.
“Right!” Tarmiel said.
“Amen” replied Nerobata, agreeing
Sariel laughed “Hey, I’m just saying, it’s not impossible,” he said as they reached the portal.
*About noon time, the Goddess Realm*
‘Well that went surprisingly well' thought the Supreme Deity
‘Now, I wonder how my second announcement today will go. What will he think? I’ve waited way too long. How should I say it?’ Her thoughts were in a frenzy
“Mother!” called Elizabeth from somewhere near the Supreme Deity’s location
Jumpy, the Supreme Deity shakily replied “Uh, I’m in here sweetheart!”
“Mother,” said Elizabeth
“Oh, baby girl, are you okay?”
‘Babygirl, she never calls me that’ thought Elizabeth
“Well, I just wanted to say…” Elizabeth started calmly
“Thank you! I’m very happy that we can finally see eye to eye again!” said Elizabeth as she ran up to her mother and hugged her since the Supreme deity shrank her size to be more humane.
The Supreme Deity trying to cherish the moment despite being worried replied “Aww, you’re too sweet to me, I don’t deserve it after what I put you through.” “It’s okay Mother,” Elizabeth slightly backed away “If I can forgive you and move past this, you should as well!”
The Supreme Deity kissed her daughter’s forehead and then said “Is there something else you need?”
“Nope,” said Elizabeth. “But, are you okay mother? You seem slightly off from your usual self.”
“Oh, it’s nothing, honey. I’m just going to speak with Meliodas’s father sometime today and I don’t know how to feel about it” said the Supreme Deity.
“What!” exclaimed Elizabeth, surprised. “What for?”
“I-it’s a more personal matter, you wouldn’t understand but it’s nothing important or for you to worry yourself with dear.”
“Well it must be important, the Demon King is coming to you to discuss it. Could you tell me what it is that so important?” said Elizabeth.
The Supreme Deity’s eyes widened and felt her cheeks grow warm “Dear, it is not that important-,” “Tell me!” Elizabeth said with excitement.
“No, honey I’m afraid I can’t but trust me, everything is just fine. Isn’t Meliodas waiting for you?”
“That’s a good point. Okay!, I’ll be back later! Will you tell me then?” said Elizabeth
“Maybe, dear… maybe”
“Alright, be nice! bye!” After her mother smirked, then nodded back, Elizabeth then took off.
The Supreme Deity sighed, then rose and left the room. To her surprise and scare, she saw the Demon King coming her way.
“Greetings, Supreme Deity,” said the Demon in his usual dark and demanding voice.
“Hi, i-I mean hello!” ‘Well, my voice went way higher than usual when saying that. I can’t do this, I’m screwed!’ thought the Supreme Deity while maintaining a warm smile.
The Demon King found it highly unusual for a being that appears to be quite stoic to express anything, especially the Supreme Deity. Even more unusual, he found himself acknowledging how delightful her smile was (when she did smile, every blue moon) and for some reason found himself admiring her lips, as she usually wore a dark shade of navy to bring out her lips more over the light which usually illuminates her face. Although, recently she is seen not having such illumination around her face and rather appearing more approachable.
From her face, his gaze moved to her waist and torso area although she wasn’t wearing anything out of what she is accustomed to. ‘She has retained her youthful yet elegant beauty quite well’ thought the Demon King although he was still in denial of truly feeling any type of true emotion for anyone, even his own family.
‘What is he looking at?’ thought the Supreme deity. “Demon King, is something the matter?” she asked, questioning him.
The Demon King’s gaze darted from her lower body to her face “U-No,” he then cleared his throat, “Everything’s fine.”
“You seem to be in a good mood today, I didn’t know witches of your degree ever felt anything other than bitterness,” the Demon King remarked.
“Don’t ruin this, we were doing well. Can we for once continue that?” the Supreme Deity asked.
“Fine, just don’t get a big head over there thinking you better than me because you are trying to ‘bring about peace’” said the Demon King
The Supreme Deity rolled her eyes “Whatever. Anyway, I have something very personal I need to inform you about.”
The Demon King nodded ‘I know,’ he thought ‘please get to the point woman.’
“Could you follow me, I’d like to discuss this in a not-so-open space” said the Supreme Deity.
“After you” replied the Demon King.
Nerobasta and Mael were walking in the quarters of the Supreme Deity carrying some important items and discussing personal matters about what the plan was now. It wasn’t common that they were in each other’s direct company but they knew each other and had an honorable friendship. They were sort of just exchanging jokes and not being too serious but you know, how good friends carry on.
Nerobasta and Mael then came to a stop to put the items they were toting down and away while still communicating with each other. “You know, your brother can be quite a drama queen or king I should say when things don’t work out the way he hopes.” “Got that right!” replied Mael.
As Nerobasta was laughing she asked “Speaking of him not that I’m trying to stalk or anything, but, do you know of his whereabouts?…” Mael’s response to her question was an inquisitive look.
“Oh, it’s nothing major I just need to ask him something if you or he wouldn’t mind” replied Nerobasta
Mael laughed, “It’s about time you did!”
Nerobasta realized he picked up on her comment and replied as Mael was laughing and slightly pushed him to the side “Oh hush up! I seriously did not mean it that way!”
“But, you did!” replied Mael, almost teasing her while still laughing.
Nerobasta took a book she was about to put away and jokingly threatened to harm him with it. While all this was taking place another two members of the 4 archangels Sariel and Tarmiel approached Nerobasta and Mael in their odd circumstances.
“Guys, don’t beat each other up, come on! you should know better by now!” Sariel stated sarcastically.
“Yea,” Mael stated matter-of-factly, “ma’am, how about let’s not be counterproductive here”
Tarmiel laughed as the 4 of them greeted each other and started to talk and “explain” what was happening.
All this bliss was interrupted by a sudden silence that fell upon all 3 members of the goddess clan’s leading troops as well as the divine lance corporal as they felt the presence of their leader approaching along with one whose aura was that of Meliodas’s, yet, more of a dark force behind it.
To their surprise, they watched as the Supreme Deity walked past them with the Demon King by her side. She didn’t pay them any mind and neither did the Demon King. They just didn’t give a damn at the time or to put it nicely “care enough to acknowledge their existence” at that moment.
The Supreme Deity and Demon King were headed to one of the Supreme Deity’s innermost spaces. Yet, the Demon King had no clue.
The door leading to that place closed shut and not a second after Sariel semi-whispered “The hell would she be taking him out of all beings in there? I mean, you all don’t think she would… want to…” Sariel side-eyed everyone he was with while forming a circle with one hand me sticking his pointer finger out on the other and, well, you know.
“There ain’t no way” replied Nerobasta.
Mael gasped “Say it ain’t so.”
“Oh lord, Sariel I’m not doing this with you today-” said Tarmiel interrupted by everyone beginning to talk at once.
Bringing their conversation down to a whisper “No, but for real, I want to spy or should I say eavesdrop to see what will happen!”
“Why are you so thrilled by this idea of yours?” asked Tarmiel with sarcastic concern for his friend.
“I’d be down,” said Nerobasta, calmly with approval.
“Uh-uh, you all know how I view the Supreme Deity as almost a mother figure please don’t ruin that for me” Mael pleaded.
“No one said you had to be in on this, just don’t tell anyone,” said Sariel.
“I see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil,” Mael said upon taking his leave for the day.
“That’s right Mael and I’m totally with you on that,” Tarmiel said in agreeance “Role models…” Tarmiel whispered under his breath looking at Sariel and Nerobasta as he left.
“Hey, he’s a grown man, why would we still have an impactful influence on him?” Sariel somewhat yelled across the room as Tarmiel was leaving.
“Get a life” Tarmiel replied.
“Shut up,” Sariel said casually.
“Get a life, as soon as you get a nice haircut” Nerobasta snidely remarked so only Sariel could hear.
Chuckling, Sariel said “Girl, don’t even with me right now. Anyway, so here’s my plan, I…”
They talked for at least 30 minutes in slight hesitation but figured something out and went for it anyway. I mean, what’s the worst that could happen? 😒
Meanwhile, in the Supreme Deity’s lounging space, she began to bring herself to the point of having the nerve to say what she had been intending for so long. So long she thought it might be too late.
The Supreme Deity and Demon King were sitting at a table playing a game similar to chess but not quite the same (as that game was not a thing) talking and drinking something… something the Supreme Deity was somewhat eager to try… wine.
They were enjoying themselves but came to a tie after playing 2 long games along with 2-hour conversations in between. It was getting to be about evening time but they both decided to put some stakes and things at risk other than their ego, one had to do whatever the other requested. Whatever it may be.
The Supreme Deity was not thinking as strategically as she was accustomed to and was the one who put up the idea.
The Demon King responded with a simple “Okay” as whatever happened could not be that bad. But… none of them were really thinking.
It wasn’t until they finally put their wine down and engaged in a serious game that their normal train of thought came back. Then, it hit the Supreme Deity, if she did not win, the Demon King would at this point most certainly make her admit what her initial intentions for this meeting of theirs be. She thought about it and she wasn’t ready. But concerning what she had to say, is anyone truly going to push themselves to admit a thing such as that?
They then proceeded to play the longest game they played that night.
“Looks like I’ll take the win tonight, get ready De-, wait…”
“No you won’t,” said the Demon King as he made his final move, ultimately winning over the Supreme Deity.
“Shoot,” thought the Supreme Deity while her face expressed worry.
“So, in honor of the wager we made-”
“Wait, no, is it fair that that still applies, I was nearly drunk when I said that!”
“You weren’t that drunk,” said the Demon King “Anyway, as I was saying, in honor of our wager, since you did not mention anything about your initial purpose for having me come here but instead stalled heavily, I now demand you to tell me everything you were going to say,” said the Demon King with enthusiasm.
“You're not going to demand me to do anything,” said the Supreme Deity
“Rhitta, you know what I mean. I’m serious.” replied the Demon King,
The Supreme Deity sighed, “Will you accompany me to my balcony?”
The Demon King and Supreme Deity rose from their seats to do as she once again asked.
Meanwhile, Sariel and Nerobasta were just finishing doing the task Mael and Nerobasta were going to complete but didn’t for… reasons. This was a part of Sariel’s plan as he figured if they bought some time, eventually if the Supreme Deity and Demon King were still in each other’s company he and Nerobasta could get the overall “agenda” of the Supreme Deity’s “meeting” with the Demon King.
They heard motion coming from behind the doors of the Supreme Deity’s quarters and decided since they were done, perhaps now it was time to witness some action (more like eavesdrop or hear some “action” from the two).
Nerobasta and Sariel began to tiptoe or rather float very close to the entryway of the Supreme Deity’s quarters…
Chapter Text
Meanwhile, the Supreme Deity and Demon King were outside observing the scenery of the Celestial realm that could be seen from the balcony of the Supreme Deity’s palace-like oasis. Beautiful greenery and in the far distance what appeared to be a considerable body of water and the sun setting. It was “the golden hour” of the day.
“I must admit, you have created quite a beautiful realm for your creations,” said the Demon King.
“Thank you, um-“
The Supreme Deity took a step closer and then said “Demon King,” The Demon King turned his head,
“I care for you,” said the Supreme Deity, too ashamed to look directly into the eyes of the Demon King.
“Well, thanks, but can you elaborate?” replied the Demon King.
“I mean I have strong feelings for you…both good and bad…” said the Supreme Deity still looking outwards.
“Oh, what the hell, I’m in love with you and have been for years…” she began to look in the Demon King’s direction “maybe even centuries or more.”
“That’s what you wanted to tell me?” said the Demon King curiously.
“Yes,” said the Supreme Deity beginning to look away from him.
“Why did you wait so long to tell me?” asked the Demon King.
“It was never really-or I never found the right time to. That’s why. Perhaps even my ego kept me from it,” the Supreme Deity honestly replied.
Shifting her body language and direction towards the Demon King, she hesitantly asked
“So… did you ever feel the same way or am I alone in this?”
Both the Demon King and Supreme Deity moved closer to each other. Simultaneously, the Demon King wrapped his arms around her waist which he was admiring earlier, touching the Supreme Deity’s silver blue hair which was just about lower than her waist. Causing the Supreme Deity’s face to grow very, very hot as she was not accustomed to being in a vulnerable position with a man. The illuminated eyes of the governing lady of the Goddesses and the dark and mysterious eyes of the reigning king of the Demons locked. Not knowing what to say or how to express what was being felt from either leaders, they both leaned in and began intimately kissing each other. Their current tender yet passionate surrender to one another seem to express everything that was to be said between the two. The Demon King’s tongue slid into her mouth, causing them both to deepen their passionate embrace of each other. Especially as the Supreme Deity wrapped her arms around the Demon King’s neck to move closer to him and manage the heat between them in that moment.
Nerobasta and Sariel managed to sneak in somehow and although they were practically crawling on their knees to remain hidden, hiding behind a sofa in the Supreme Deity’s lounging area, they both caught a glimpse of their leader and their enemy’s clan leader embracing each other. Not just a hug or so, but… kissing?
“What!?!” silently exclaimed Sariel causing Nerobasta to jump in fear of them being heard. Nerobasta began tapping Sariel signaling “We need to go, like now!”.
They began to swiftly crawl back to the door entrance and exited quietly and quickly. As soon as they got within 6 feet of distance between the threshold, they charged to the exit of the place, Nerobasta laughing so hard she began to turn red and almost fell. “DAYUM! See, what did I tell you!!!!-” said Sariel while dying of laughter. They then took flight out of the establishment and reached the high, open, arch which was the exit.
Despite this, the Demon King and Supreme Deity were still at it, it's just that things… intensified. The Demon King began to start biting, kissing, and sucking at the Supreme Deity's neck causing her to release soft moans of pleasure. He then reached or should I say “found” her “sweet spot” which he figured out once the Supreme Deity’s moans of pleasure rose in tone and she somewhat quietly exclaimed between moans, “mmph, oh! Demon King, t-that’s my sweet spot!” she then released an extremely pleased and passionate hum.
The Supreme Deity found she began to raise one of her legs around the Demon King’s hip area as directed by the Demon King’s hand slipping under her dress and gripping her thigh, causing both their midsections to come closer, only stimulating each of them increasingly.
The heat between them was intense, getting to be too much for the Supreme Deity to handle, standing up at least, and she decided she wanted more, more than a kiss, more like… “sexual gratification” from the one her desire was towards. The Supreme Deity backed away from the Demon King causing the Demon King to say “Is something wrong?”
“Not really. Well, I guess that answers the question I asked about if you had any romantic feelings towards me, but, won’t you accompany me to bed?” asked the Supreme Deity, tempting the Demon King. ‘What am I saying?!?’ thought the Supreme Deity. She felt her cheeks grow hotter as the Demon King laughed, saying “Well-,” “NO-, I mean, we can’t do this, o-our children are together, we-I missed the opportunity ages ago, I don’t know what I’m saying?!?” said the Supreme Deity, frenzied.
The Demon King, being confused, laughed and said “Well okay…, I guess I should be heading out anyway. Uh, next time you invite me to come all this way, perhaps be more decisive?”
“Okay- I know, my apology, Demon King but, it’s not that easy. Farewell,” said the Supreme Deity as she stepped closer to the Demon King, kissing his forehead.
“Don’t start something” replied the Demon King sarcastically.
The Supreme Deity laughed as she gently pushed him away. The Demon King then exited as the Supreme Deity leaned upon her doorway almost daydreaming but quickly snapped out of it as she felt quite foolish and weak for being in such a state.
‘What am I going to do…?’ thought the Supreme Deity feeling helpless and lost.
Notes:
Well, I thought about a more… erotic ending but let’s just say that didn’t work out. If this story for the most part is received decently, I will continue it.

Chapter Text
Once her company was gone and dusk began to fall, the Supreme Deity desired to spend more time, seated on her balcony space. She deeply despised just how indecisive and confused she felt as she was accustomed to clear-cut decision-making based solely on what she perceived to be sound reasoning. Not much emotion or intuition was put into those choices at all. Who needed those things if in they could result in an outcome of a range of things from utter chaos to harmony? To her, it just sounded disorderly, unpredictable, and not a way that a ruler could maintain order. The Supreme Deity found it also shameful that these were the same concepts that her own daughter seem to so passionately protest her with. Yet, she was too blinded by her false grasp of what it meant to be a "wonderful" leader, which lead her to practically a state of tyranny.
Various things were running through her mind yet she still decided to do what she tends to do best, suppress and forget. Still, she knew that this time around, it wouldn't be that easy. Such intense feelings of passion and earnest yearning for someone can't be easily quenched. Odd enough, the love she did not have the courage nor really the desire for so long to confess was her driving force of anger and bitterness during the war. Her thoughts began to drift as a soft breeze tenderly caressed her face. 'Besides Elizabeth, he's the only other person I've ever kissed or embraced,' the Supreme Deity thought as she sat in now moonlight within the darkness engulfing the sky.
Recalling the oddly sweet moment, caused a warmth to come over the queen's cheeks. The way he tenderly held her close...grasped her waist...her hips...how he kissed her lips...how his tongue gently stroked against her's..his touch lingered- At the sudden knocking on the threshold leading to her balcony, her thoughts were interrupted, causing a slight jump in reaction to the noise. "Oh-sorry if I scared you!" Elizabeth replied, calmly yet upbeat, in her usual soothing tone. "Not at all dear," replied the Supreme Deity, motioning for her daughter to join her while sitting. 'I guess I was too distracted to notice my daughter's magical presence,' thought the Supreme Deity, her eyebrows raised for a brief moment, slightly disappointed at herself.
"So, did the Demon King come?" asked Elizabeth while jokingly skipping towards her mother. The Supreme Deity smiled while watching her daughter as she hadn't seen such happiness from her since she was little. "Well, he did in fact, Elizabeth!-" the Supreme Deity replied as her voice rose in tone, and she quickly moved to prevent her daughter from harming herself since she just happened to trip in front of her. Over what- the mother was confounded attempting to figure out, but, nonetheless, somehow she managed to catch her, as Elizabeth ended up stretched out across her mother's lap.
Her mother slightly chuckled and asked "Are you okay, dear?" as Elizabeth sighed and began to recollect herself. "Mm, hm," Elizabeth replied as she sat up, leaning on her mother in her arms. "Anyway, how'd it go?" Elizabeth responded. "Sort of rough at first but things got better as time went on," her mother replied. "Really?" "Yes." "So why are you sitting out here," further inquired Elizabeth. "Oh, just thinking," the Supreme Deity answered. "About... what?" Elizabeth asked. "Honey, you sure do ask a lot of questions. Didn't I teach you to stay out of a grown person's business?" "Yeah, but that doesn't take away the fact that I'm curious. Plus, you're my mother so I have a pass. Oh, and aren't I technically an adult?" Elizabeth responded. "I suppose you are but I'll still see you as my baby girl. Time goes by too fast. Or rather I didn't use it well," replied the Supreme Deity as negative emotions arose in her.
"Hmm," Elizabeth replied while turning her face to the light illuminating the night. "Isn't the moon beautiful?" Elizabeth replied with awe. "It's gorgeous," the Supreme Deity replied now looking where her daughter was. "Didn't you make it?" Elizabeth innocently asked. The Supreme Deity hesitated for a second before replying "Well, um, that a discussion for another day, love. Did you eat yet?" "No. I'm not really hungry but I am sleepy," Elizabeth replied. "Go rest then, I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" her mother responded while softly kissing her daughter's forehead. Elizabeth smiled at her mother's sweetness while replying "Goodnight!" as she got up to retreat to her bedroom.
The night became darker and time passed before the Supreme Deity figured to go inside as well. Although she was a god and did not really need sleep, she did still enjoy it from time to time. Not this night though. Her mind kept her up so the Supreme Deity didn't rest. Nevertheless, dawn arose before she knew it.
*Celestial Realm*
It was now the next day and things seem to overall be tranquil. For the civilians that was. On the contrary, the higher-ranking members of the race were still quite confounded and anxious to know what their leader's next move would be as they were given instructions to report to the Supreme Deity's palace. Tarmiel and Sariel were one of the first to make their way over to the palace since Ludociel was checking on his younger brother Mael and most likely would not drop in until necessary. Plus, Tarmiel and Sariel always hung out and had nothing better to do anyway.
"So, how's your day been so far?" Sariel asked sedately while floating (as he typically does) next to his comrade to further continue their current conversation. "Fine until I had to help train those younger goddess troops," he replied. "Oh really? Thankfully, my designated group isn't that bad," Sariel replied. "Well, it's not related to their training abilities because they all have great potential, but, those boy's with too much energy are a handful. Especially in the morning." "Tell me about it," Sariel answered.
"Anyway, when I tell you that you won't believe what Nerobasta and I saw yesterday-" Sariel started as his tone rose in accordance with the subject. Tarmiel sighed in response to his friend before replying "Oh dear, I didn't ask but I bet you're going to tell me either way." "You're damn right!" Sariel responded. "Go ahead," Tarmiel replied with a hint of sarcasm. "No, but seriously, please keep this in our inner circle 'cause I don't care to get in trouble, but, we saw the Demon King and Supreme Deity kissing each other."
Tarmiel raised one eyebrow in disbelief and came to a halt before replying to his friend. They stared at each other for a few moments before Tarmiel said "I don't believe you," and began to walk again, somewhat leaving Sariel behind. "I'm serious! I have a witness!" Sariel exclaimed while speeding up to make it beside Tarmiel once more. "There's no way!" Tarmiel blurted in response. "I- okay, why out of all times would you think I'm joking... right now?" "Does the Demon King even have facial features besides eyes?" Tarmiel inquired. "Surprisingly, yes. He has black hair, a long beard, all of it. That is under that hideous helmet and armor-" "His armor was off?! Are you sure they were just kissing?" Tarmiel interrupted with concern.
Sariel laughed as he responded "Calm down! All we saw was a kiss!" "I hate to ask this but I feel the need to at this point, what kind of kiss was it?" Tarmiel replied. "Well, I hate to say this too but it looked as if they were trying to swallow each other-" "Okay, that's too much, Sariel." "I'm being dead serious!" Sariel responded as the two of them approached the gates of the palace. Tarmiel then motioned for Sariel to hush as they saw the guards in sight and hence temporarily ended their conversation until they got far enough out of earshot.
30 minutes later
Some time passed and when they initially arrived, the Supreme Deity and her daughter were not ready. So, Sariel and Tarmiel decided to lounge, talk, and play a card game in the area the Supreme Deity permits those among the highest ranking of her creations to be. As they were talking, they heard a soft voice down the hallway leading to the area they were in. "Lady Elizabeth, Sir Tarmiel, and Sir Sariel are waiting down the hall," a royal maid replied to the soft voice they heard. "Thank you," Elizabeth replied.
Soft footsteps quickly approached the two archangels and surely enough, Elizabeth, in her short white dress was revealed, waving. "Hi!" Elizabeth said energetically in response to their presence. "Greetings, Princess Elizabeth. How are you?" Tarmiel caringly inquired while waving back. "Great actually," she replied smiling. "Are you off to somewhere or are you going to stick around?" Sariel asked. "I'm going to head out for the day. By the way, my mother should be up soon. She doesn't seem like herself so she may take more time today," Elizabeth replied while also waving and slightly shifting her attention, seeing the rest of the archangels along with a divine lance corporal approaching.
"Oh... really?" Sariel stated rather sardonically, as he side-eyed Tarmiel, who was silently threatening him to keep quiet. "What?" Elizabeth asked curiously, noticing their behavior. Before Sariel could reply, Tarmiel got up to go greet the others stating "It took you all long enough!" attempting to change the subject. Sariel and Elizabeth watched as Mael, Nerobasta, and Ludociel interacted with Tarmiel before Sariel exclaimed "Um, Nerobasta," while motioning with his pointer finger for her to come over. This caused the pink-haired goddess to turn her attention to him and Elizabeth, thus excusing herself from the conversation she was in, and began to stroll to Sariel and Elizabeth.
Once she got there, she greeted Elizabeth but gave Sariel a suspicious look. "Um, so, you know what you and I witnessed yesterday, miss?" Sariel remarked to Nerobasta with amusement. "Oh, Sir...," she paused before lowering her tone, knowing Elizabeth was in her presence, "please tell me you did not call me over about that!" she frantically whispered. "Of course!" Sariel answered in an upbeat way while Nerobasta assumed a 'you know better' stance and facial expression. "Hear me out. Lady Elizabeth here just said that the Supreme Deity isn't feeling like herself today, and..." Sariel paused hinting at the obvious reason why.
"What are you guys talking about?" Elizabeth exclaimed, with a relative hint of frustration. Loud enough that it caught Tarmiel's attention and caused him to be more concerned about what his friend may be spewing. He then began to quickly move in his direction, trying to prevent further 'damage' from being done. "Excuse me," Tarmiel stated to Ludociel and Mael in the middle of their conversation. "Sariel!" Tarmiel exclaimed while motioning him to shut up. "What?!" Sariel stated back.
"Why?" Nerobasta said to Sariel, pleadingly, as Tarmiel was coming their way. "Oh hush, she might as well know!" Sariel replied in response to both of them. "Know what!" Elizabeth clamored now frustrated. Nerobasta and Sariel sighed, before turning to face Elizabeth. "Well, Lady Elizabeth, yesterday, Sir Sariel and I witnessed the Supreme Deity with..." Nerobasta started with a soothing tone before being interrupted by Sariel; "With the Demon King in an... intimate moment," Sariel replied with attempted calmness. "Huh!??" Elizabeth practically shouted, grabbing the attention of Ludociel and Mael.
Elizabeth looked around the room in contemplation before leaning in and asking "What were they doing?!?" "What's wrong?" Ludociel asked as he and his brother joined the rest of them. "The Supreme Deity and Demon King were 'enjoying' each other's company yesterday, sir," Nerobasta quickly replied to her superior before looking back at Sariel. "Uh oh, did your plan backfire?" Mael inquired of Sariel. "You knew about this?!?" Ludociel asked his younger brother, perplexed. "Hush!" Sariel exclaimed, now turning his attention away from his other clansmen. Sariel began speaking, turning towards Elizabeth "Well, the Supreme Deity slipped the Demon King the tongue-," "More so a tonsil or two-," Nerobasta inserted, "Last evening," Sariel finished, as he and Nerobasta side-eyed each other.
Elizabeth's jaw dropped and there was a moment of utter silence as everyone exchanged blank stares with one another. Mael then made a gagging noise as he stepped away from the group, his hands on his knees, trying to regain control of his gagging reflex. Elizabeth just remained frozen, in shock. No one could entirely tell what was being felt on her end. Frankly, in a situation such as this one, who would really know what to feel?
Ludociel semi-turned to check on his brother to make sure he was okay but his attention could not entirely be towards his brother due to his own state surprise. Elizabeth remained silent as she looked around with frowning eyebrows, still not knowing what to say and further maintaining the complete silence in the room at the time. Nerobasta looked down and away from anyone's eyes due to how awkward she felt and Sariel somewhat did the same while for some reason trying not to chuckle. The silence didn't break until Mael recollected himself, fully stood up, and began to move closer to the group while quietly stating "That's just nasty." "I know right? How could she!" Elizabeth stated in a puzzled tone as she somewhat paced back and forth with her hand over her mouth. "Why would she is the question," Ludociel commented. "Hey, who's to say she doesn't get horn-" Sariel began to say before Tarmiel somewhat aggressively tapped him.
"Lady Elizabeth, dear, try to calm down..." The Supreme Deity could hear Nerobasta calmly advise someone as she approached where she knew her high-ranking troops were coming to meet her. 'Who needs to calm down?' the Supreme Deity thought as she walked faster in her human-like form to try and see what was happening. Once she walked through the threshold leading toward the area she suspected her guests to be. To her surprise, she was met with a confounded gaze from more than half of those present.
"Is something wrong?" her pleasant, resonant voice echoed through the space. "What do you mean what's wrong!?" Elizabeth practically spat at her mother. "Well excuse me? Did I miss something?" the Supreme Deity asked in an oddly genuine tone, with her head slightly tilted. She could hear whispers and see gestures between her daughter and some of the archangels to not do something which she couldn't make out, but, sure enough, her daughter ignored them and flat out asked "I've heard from various sources that Meliodas's father and you had a rather intimate 'rendezvous' just yesterday. Is it true?"
The Supreme Deity's gaze became indignant as it shifted to the ones standing around her daughter. She rolled her eyes before replying "I wouldn't call it exactly what you described as whatever source you heard from only witnessed that one moment but nothing more happened than what they saw. So in other words, yes, it is true to an extent." "But that doesn't answer all my questions, Mother. Why did you two... embrace each other the way I've been told and you admit?" Elizabeth further inquired with a hint of disgust. "Elizabeth, dear there was a lot of unaddressed... emotion between us and that came to the forefront in that moment. It's complicated. I apologize Elizabeth I would explain to you had there been no company with us," the Supreme Deity replied with a tinge of embarrassment as could be seen from her facial expression.
Elizabeth's response was silence with a serious look on her face, but, it was obvious her brain was ticking, trying to figure out what else to say. "Actually speaking of the 'company' we have, although I didn't say anything about it, I did notice the other day some type of aura similar to either you Sariel or Tarmiel along with someone else that at that moment my focus was not strong enough to put my finger on somewhere nearby. They remained and managed to reside close enough to where they would have seen the Demon King and I together. I won't invoke any type of punishment this time around but whoever it was among you will see to it that it never happens again. That's very disrespectful and nosy and I do not appreciate it," the Supreme Deity sternly stated while glaring at her elite troops.
When the Supreme Deity ended, the Four Archangels and Nerobasta all nodded without saying a word and some even looked down out of shame of a sort. Especially Nerobasta. She could have sworn her stop nearly stopped when her leader was giving a description of what she and Sariel did but was thankful she was still breathing. “Well this has been incredibly awkward and I’m gonna go now,” Elizabeth said as she slowly walked to leave her mother and fellow clansmen alone.
As soon as the Supreme Deity felt the presence of her daughter dissipate, she still continued on with speaking despite the highly discomfiting moment just experienced. "I will have every single one of you know that should this spread past these four walls I will not let you live it down. Plus, my romantic affairs are none of your concern," she continued. "Your Highness, respectfully, I wouldn't worry about us leaking anything on this matter but rather Lady Elizabeth," Ludociel commented. The Supreme Deity then quickly replied, nearly interrupting her subject "I said what I said and that's the very end of this discussion. Now-" "Wait, Your Highness," Mael interjected as the Supreme Deity's face grew increasingly aggrieved. "Mael, hush," Ludociel warned his brother. "No," Mael replied. "How is it okay that the same race we were so adamantly urged by You to purge from existence, you've confessed your love for their leader and now everything's fine? What about the immense bloodshed, loved ones lost, tears, trauma, pain, sorrow, and agony that was caused by this war, and now all of a sudden it's dismissed as if it never happened? I'm sorry but that really is not okay, Your Highness," Mael boldly noted with a tinge of hostility.
"He does have a point, Your Highness," Tarmiel added. "I mean, this kind of information could very well be used to extort your rulership potentially in its entirety. It's quite a serious matter, Supreme Deity," Sariel noted while dropping the playful tone he usually speaks with. All the Supreme Deity managed to do was sigh at the truth that was being presented to her. She'd rather not explain her innermost emotions or rather dark and discordant underlying motives behind certain things she does to beings she, herself made and gave power. In the face of her hate for being in a vulnerable position, she plainly stated, softening her typical demanding tone "Listen, I know all your points are valid but even as a god I myself do not have the answer to everything. I don't know everything and I'm not all-powerful. I have my reasons for doing the things that I have and right now I'm still trying to reason through individual affairs. Therefore am not in a place to provide a decent answer to your questions. Candidly, there is not a 'decent' explanation for any of this and I cannot begin to reason with you all at the moment."
Mael found himself feeling something towards the Supreme Deity he hadn't ever felt before, disappointment. He wouldn't have thought in his wildest dreams that such an authoritative and upstanding figure would have such faults. None of the archangels or the divine lance corporal present would have expected that. Ashamed and not knowing what to do, the Supreme Deity turned her back. While looking down to the side, she inconspicuously said "I apologize for my nefarious faults but you all are dismissed," as a tear ran down her face.
Just as their leader turned her back, so did the rest of the goddesses present. Some with diffidence and others on the contrary such as Sariel left without a care. Upon leaving, the short goddess said under his breath "Gladly," with a hint of attitude and scorn.
'I suppose I truly did desire such a broken fantasy of existence,' the conflicted leader of the Goddess Race thought as she walked away, sulking in the same helplessness and chaos that seem to engulf her inward being.
Notes:
I apologize that this chapter is quite lengthy but I hope it was enjoyable in some way. (A little random, but) the title of this chapter is from a pretty well-known old-school song titled "Killing Me Softly" and I thought that the specific line I chose pretty much described what the essence of this chapter would be.
Chapter 5: I Guess I'll See You Next Lifetime..."
Summary:
Okay, so, I hope this isn't too odd despite the title possibly hinting at Meliodas and Elizabeth, it doesn't. Rather, it's based on the lyrics of a song titled "Next Lifetime" by Erykah Badu. I don't want to spoil anything but perhaps if you've heard the song or seen the lyrics it just gives more context for the inspiration of this chapter.

Chapter Text
A couple of days had passed since the Demon King and Supreme Deity had their "special" meeting. While the Supreme Deity had it out with some members of her race, not a word came up about it in the Demon Realm. This was mainly because he did not have subjects that were openly nosy. Not to mention, he also appeared terrifying to most so not many would even dare speak about something of that matter so casually, not even his sons. Nevertheless, the Demon King was just as lost as the Supreme Deity as to what his next move should be.
As he sat in an office-like area of his oasis, he thought and communed with himself as he held a quill in his hand, slowly tapping it on his desk. He didn't have a thing to decree at the moment, not a soul to defend, almost as if he was useless. Not that he really cared about that. Not nearly as much as how he should follow up on his last interaction with his ally leader. As he looked around at the intricately textured and detailed walls in the area he was in, then, looking down at what was in his hand, he thought up a "clever" idea. 'How about I write this woman instead of meeting her once more? I'd rather not get her pregnant and have to raise more nuisances once over,' thought the Demon King, nodding to himself as he sat up and got a scroll of paper to give life to his thoughts.
Following, the Demon King laid out the paper in front of him and got a jar of ink to dip his quill in. His writing began,
My Dearest Queen,
I am addressing you at this time regarding the knowledge of what the desire of your heart is. I know not what to make of what we shared with one another when we afore met. As you said, it appears truly too late for you, and I Rhitta. That is, to be together publically. I've been thinking that maybe you and I could still be together but just keep it between you and me. I must be honest when I say I have never loved another the way I, have you. Although it may appear unbelievable, I truly mean every word which I rather not proclaim openly as I'd appear hypocritical and I don't care for refutation from my subjects. Please, take as much time as you desire in responding, Rhitta. All I ask is that you are honest. Well- "Father," Zeldris asked as he opened the door to his father's quarters, interrupting the Demon King's thoughts.
"Yes, son," the Demon King replied, trying to appear unbothered. "Pardon me, but there's something I need to ask you," Zeldris replied in his deep and cold undertone while gazing upon his father, noticing he wasn't in his usual intimidating attire, and an odd sight to see. "Alright but close the door first, Zeldris," the Demon King's heavy voice resounded. "Let me guess, you're going ask about where I went the other day," the Demon King continued as Zeldris closed the door behind him. "Well, father, I know where you went but I don't know how your meeting with that damned goddess-" "Watch your mouth, son," the Demon King interrupted in response, lightly warning Zeldris. "What's wrong with me saying that about the leader of the Goddess Race, Father?" "It's disrespectful, Zeldris. She is the queen of a powerful race that we now are in league with," the Demon King replied.
Zeldris's response was an inquisitive, confused, and slightly sore gaze directed at his father. The Demon King sat looking at his son, not indignant, but with one eyebrow raised in genuine concern. "Okay now, tell me what did the two of you do?!" Zeldris exclaimed. "Boy, you do ask a lot of questions," the Demon King replied somewhat sharply. "It was that bad!?!" "Zeldris! Hush" the Demon King boomed in response. The king cleared his throat as he and his son were silent for some moments before saying "No, it was not bad at all. We engaged in a real mutual exchange and we now better understand each other. Which has now led to the further establishment of the armistice between our races."
Zeldris sighed before replying simply "Whatever you say, father." He began to head for the door causing the Demon King's posture to subtly relax before his son abruptly turned, saying "Oh, and I have another question, why are you writing, father?" The Demon King looked around, groping for what his response should be. "Uh-son, well, I'm just following up with what the Supreme Deity and I discussed. It's not a matter that you'd need worry about," the Demon King replied. Zeldris nodded, then left without a hitch.
The door clicked behind Zeldris upon leaving and when it did, the Demon King fully exhaled before he went ahead and finished the letter he was writing,
Well, although I adjure that you take your time, if you'd rather sooner than later that you give me a chance to "take things to your bedroom", try to get back to me as soon as possible. Signed, Yours Truly.
The Demon King slightly grinned with cockiness upon writing his last remark before reading over what he wrote. Once he did, he requested for his eldest son, Meliodas, by way of Chandler, to deliver the contents of what he wrote and sealed to the Supreme Deity knowing that same woman very well might be his son's mother-in-law one day. Yet, he didn't care. After all, Meliodas at this point had little to no interest in his father's affairs considering their history yet respected him enough to drop by, every blue moon- or at least do something small he may ask now that peace has been established.
*Brittania, an open grassy plain, 3000 years ago, technically after the Holy War*
Due to their parents shifting their hostile gazes away from the relationship of their children, Meliodas and Elizabeth have been enjoying each other's company much more than before due to not having to look over their shoulders to make sure no harm would come to them while together. Not that they did not already strongly enjoy one another's company, it's just now they had more time to because an era of 'peace' had come upon the world.
The couple were gazing at the sight in front of them while sitting closely to one another, conversing about various affairs in their lives.
"So, where do you think we should go next?" Meliodas inquired his lover in an upbeat tone. "I honestly don't mind if this is what we remain doing for a while. I mean my homeland seems to be coming along fine without my presence, the human, fairy, and giant races along with their realms appear to be fine, so, why don't we just spend more time here?" Elizabeth replied in her soft and sweet-sounding voice while shifting her gaze toward Meliodas.
Meliodas managed to express a slight grin before looking downward while allowing a hint of sorrow to be expressed on his face and in his eyes. Upon realizing what Meliodas was trying to communicate, Elizabeth lightly gasped before saying "u-Meliodas, I apologize. I did not think about the Demon Race or your loved ones there either." "It's fine, Elizabeth. I'll sort things out with them when the time comes but don't worry about that. Plus, I want to work on showing your mother I'm not that bad," Meliodas replied, keeping his upbeat tone, yet sounding negligibly serious in a way.
"Meliodas, you have no need to try and go out of your way and show my mother out of all people how good you are. All that matters is that we accept each other," Elizabeth replied. "Oh, I know that very well but it doesn't hurt to try. It might make things easier for you in terms of acceptance within your race and to me, that's worth it, regardless of what any of my race may say," Meliodas answered with a smile. Elizabeth felt a great warmth come over her cheeks upon her lover's last response, causing a smile to touch her lips.
"Thank you-" Elizabeth stopped as her gaze gradually pivoted behind Meliodas. Meliodas kept his gaze on Elizabeth as there stood Chandler, his own advisor behind him. Surprisingly, he did not have a hint of murderous intent, as he was sobbing. Meliodas slowly and in a somewhat exaggerated matter turned his head to look at his advisor, while Elizabeth was staring, with one hand covering her mouth.
"Prince Meliodas, it's a delight to see you alive after all that has transpired," Chandler managed to utter between tears. "Why are you here?" Meliodas replied, coldness and seriousness now in his voice. "Oh, the Demon King wrote something and he requested me to give it to you so you could deliver it to that goddess's mother," Chandler replied, practically spitting the end of his statement. Meliodas took the scroll from Chandler while eyeing him. He then began to soften his facial expression to confusion, as he looked at the scroll, at Elizabeth (who was just as lost as he was), then back at Chandler almost satirically before asking "Why exactly? That does not even sound right," Meliodas said. "Young Master, I do not know, I'm only following the orders I've been given," Chandler replied. "Alright, you're dismissed," Meliodas replied as Chandler then took off.
There were a few moments of blank staring between the couple as they were clueless but nevertheless, they shrugged it off as Elizabeth led them to the Celestial Realm.
*Goddess Realm, the Celestial Palace*
"Mother!" the princess of the Goddess Race called out with a relatively unwelcome presence by her side. The sweet voice caused her mother to back away from the conversation she was engaged in with one of the archangels, preferably Ludociel, who had a partially jarring gaze at the couple's presence. "Hello dear," the Supreme Deity said with a warm smile and underlying tone of jubilance at the sight of her only child, "Meliodas," the queen replied, turning her attention to address her daughter's lover in a slightly darker, more stern tone.
Meliodas nodded and let a slight grimace appear on his lips in respect to the Supreme Deity's acknowledgment of him. He continued to ignore Ludociel, whose disdainful gaze he could feel looking down upon him. Elizabeth looked at her mother, then Meliodas, then back at her mother in quick glances somewhat surprised by their interaction, before saying "O-oh, well, Meliodas has something to give to you."
"Oh really?" the Supreme Deity replied, looking with amusement at Meliodas. Elizabeth whispered a "Yeah" under her breath as she nudged Meliodas to present the letter he had in hand to the Supreme Deity. Somewhat hesitantly, after making eye contact with Elizabeth, Meliodas began: "Yea, I have no clue why but the Demon King sent for me and had this given to me so I could give it to you." "That's a bunch of nonsense if I've-" Ludociel started with his crossed before the Supreme Deity interrupted. "Quiet," the queen of the Goddesses spat while raising one of her hands into Ludociel's face, almost pushing him away by his forehead. Ludociel frowned but he figured not to say anything else only for the sake of respect to the Supreme Deity.
"My apologies Meliodas but why would your father want to give something like this... to me," she said while accepting the scroll from Meliodas. As the Supreme Deity was handed the scroll, she opened the seal and began to skim over the contents of the text, a sweet smile grew on her lips, and she also slightly moved to the right to make sure the text was out of the sight of Ludociel, who may have been trying to 'investigate,' already having some prior knowledge. This caused Meliodas to chuckle slightly with both amusement and confusion. On the contrary, an expression of slight disgust grew on Elizabeth's face, and Ludociel and they sort of side-eyed one another, causing Meliodas to ask "Well, were you expecting something from him?" "Oh... no," the Supreme Deity replied while narrowly dragging out her statement, suggesting the opposite of the words she was speaking.
"So why don't you tell him?" Elizabeth replied in an oddly stoic tone, sharply. At that, the Supreme Deity's gaze swiftly changed from loving to spiteful, as she sharply motioned to her daughter to stay quiet. "About what?" Meliodas inquired with concern, as the mother and daughter in the room were sternly staring down at each other. The Supreme Deity sighed as she slightly turned her back. "Whatever, I thought you must have already told him as you do everything." "Is that a bad thing?" Elizabeth replied to her mother, although she remained silent as she tried to focus on the letter.
"What's happening?" Meliodas asked with great confusion. "Weeelllll," Elizabeth drew out, tempting her mother, "the other day-" "I kissed your father!" the Supreme Deity blurted, figuring it might take away the embarrassment she would feel either way. "Well isn't that good, they're getting along?" Meliodas asked with odd innocence. "No, Meliodas you don't understand the type of kiss," Elizabeth replied. Meliodas only responded with a confused look. "In the good words of my fellow clansmen, specifically Sariel and Nerobasta, my mother here apparently got together with the Demon King to meet the other day to share a very intimate moment with him, so, she slipped him the tongue- or rather a-" "Okay, Elizabeth that's enough!" the Supreme Deity replied. "Why are you acting like you regret it? You seemed like you couldn’t care less about us talking about what you did just yesterday, so, why now?" Elizabeth replied with slight indignation.
The room then came to a point of awkward silence after Elizabeth's last comment. After a few moments, Ludociel whistled while turning his body to head for the exit of the area he was in as he did not feel the need to be involved in the interaction, despite not being told by the Supreme Deity to do so. As the Archangel exited, Meliodas with a blank expression asked "My question is... why would you want to?" "It's complicated and I'm not explaining anything to any of you as I am not entitled to," the Supreme Deity snappily replied in response. "No need, I'll just ask your daughter," Meliodas replied calmly and laughingly while lifting off to leave the realm, avoiding any clap-back from the Supreme Deity. Of course, Elizabeth followed as she didn't necessarily want to be there any longer as well.
On the other hand, despite slightly failed attempts to hide it, the Supreme Deity was practically beside herself with excitement due to the letter- a love letter the King of the Demons sent her. Though she hadn't even really read his message yet, the same feeling of helplessness she felt after the same man held her close began to swell up again, invoking both negativity and the warm feeling only caused by intimacy. Though as conflicted as she had ever been, the Supreme Deity still lost herself in the pleasant words her love interest wrote. Although being a full-grown adult, the attention she felt being dispelled upon her made her feel as if she were a little girl despite never experiencing that stage of existence. How so very odd this phenomenon was to her. Though being a 'god,' without her innate abilities, she still really wasn't as deity-like as she herself had once thought and even her own creations.
Emotions only seemed to be fabricated so long before to her, but at this moment they were very real- especially as she read the last line of the letter. The queen felt her cheeks steam once more but she didn’t mind. Admittedly, the Supreme Deity sure did like the whole idea presented by the Demon King but still felt some type of shame within herself.
Sure she felt intense emotions for the Demon King but she would never want the news of that to get out or for that to negatively impact their children more than she and the Demon King had already done. The queen of the Goddesses was for some odd reason all over the place within herself and felt inadequate to deal with these affairs properly at the moment. So, she came to the conclusion to sit on her thoughts for some time.
‘If he loves me, he’ll wait for me. Maybe not this time around but perhaps next,’ the Supreme Deity figured as she began to walk to her quarters, finally finding some sense of tranquility within herself in all of the madness.
Despite having sent a letter, the Demon King too felt he would know what the Supreme Deity’s answer would be as well. They both knew they could enjoy one another’s presence as long as they exist, except not in the way the initial hope of the two began ages prior.
After all, considering they were two of the only gods in creation, they were on one another’s wavelength.
Notes:
I think that is where I’ll leave this for now. Chances are I may start some type of work related to this one but I revisit that once I get more time. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story and thank you for reading <3.
Chapter 6: Before I Let Go

This is a quick (not really) continuation chapter I did upon request. It will probably be the last for this work but I hope you enjoy! <3
Chapter Text
Days, months, and about a year has passed since the Holy War consummated. Since then, many have healed and are returning to their normal lives, enjoying this time of peace that has come upon their worlds. Humans, fairies, and giants have been rejoicing and rebuilding the things damaged from the war within their realms for a while now. Especially in the realm of Earth, its well-being is essential to how well most of the predominant five races operate functionally.
'Yet somehow the realms with actual gods governing them have been the hardest hit. Why has it taken us out of all races so much time to move on?' Meliodas wondered as he strolled through his home realm.
He hadn't been here in what felt like forever. In the back of his mind, he felt like he had some nerve returning to this place but things had been going well so far. Though he hasn't yet spoken with the leader of his race, his father.
"Hey, you, midget!" a familiar feminine nasal voice called from behind, causing Meliodas to frown jokingly as he turned around to see who it was. The demon prince then sarcastically gasped in shock as he replied "Hey, you're that snake-rat hybrid right? I think I know you?!?" The Commandment of Faith rolled her eyes as she replied "Whatever!", catching up to Meliodas.
Admittedly, Meliodas was surprised by how forgiving Melascula was when he first began to restore peace with his race. Siding with the Goddesses and killing some of his clansmen was no little crime in the eyes of his clan or his father. Yet, he figured it might not be too hard to attempt to do the same with Elizabeth quite easily being received back more personally into her clan. For a while, he couldn’t decipher where he should start. Also, considering he wasn’t all that sorry for what he did, the prince still figured it’d be worthwhile in the end to do it.
So he began with those he formerly led, the Ten Commandments.
Of course, he couldn’t gather everyone he betrayed at once to apologize and be properly heard so he went about doing so individually. By way of fate, Melascula was the first of the commandments he encountered. The sons of the Demon King and Melascula were oddly good friends before complete chaos broke out. Really, just about all of the Commandments shared connections of amity between each other since when you've known someone your entire life that tends to happen, but, of course with the War breaking out, those bonds did not take center stage. Hence, Melascula hearing from Meliodas was quite bittersweet. Being the Commandment of Faith, instances of betrayal were no light thing to her. Despite that, she was willing, considering who she knew him to be personally.
From thereon, there was Derieri, Monspeet, Galand, and his younger brother he managed to address. That sort of made things easier because he had fewer people to "apologize" to; the other two Commandments were gone he killed them and one of them was not very legit... Approaching some was definitely smoother than others. Especially Derieri since her sister passed during the War. Yet, he figured it out. Thankfully, many of them chose to take the route of forgiveness and healing so they could get on with their lives, without bitterness.
The way Melascula nonchalantly strolled next to her former leader elicited a slight feeling of nostalgia within him. It had been ages since things had been this way.
“So, how are things going over with the others?” Melascula calmly inquired. “Wouldn’t you know that better than I?” Meliodas replied. “No. Well, actually yes,” she replied before going silent. Meliodas looked over at her in confusion. “Uh, hello?" Meliodas asked exaggeratedly while eyeing the Commandment. "Hi?" she replied matching his tone. "So, can you further expound? How are they doing?” “Ohhh...well, they're healing-slowly getting back to "regular" life as everyone else is. I’d say you'd be fine approaching them but it may be tense,” Melascula replied. “Well, that's great news,” Meliodas responded. “It is, isn't it?” Melascula added as she lightened her tone more than it was before.
"You know you're weird right?" Meliodas snarkily replied. Melascula stopped in her tracks as Meliodas walked forward, laughing at her. She sighed with hinted confusion before replying "Ha, I've been knowing that! Wait up, won't you?" "Who told you it's okay to harass me?" Meliodas replied. "I'm not! Where are you going?" Melascula answered back.
“The palace, Mela. Right over there." "Oh, are you finally going to speak to the Demon King?" "I think so! Has he said anything about me recently?" the prince replied back. "Why don’t you go find out for yourself?” Melascula said while advancing forward. “What? Well damn,” Meliodas exclaimed keeping the typical sarcastic tone he has with her. Melascula looked back at Meliodas, shooting him a glance that communicated “I didn’t mean it like that, get over it.” "It would be most beneficial to restore some sort of mutual understanding with the Demon King,” she further expounded, keeping her gaze forward.
The very thought of seeing his father at this point in time even as months had passed still irked his mind. The Demon King is unwavering in his stance regarding betrayal and what he thinks is right. No matter how hurt another person may be. Nevertheless, Meliodas knew she was right. It was time for him to face the stubborn bastard- his father and the rest of his clan.
"Well, I sure don't want to be in there when you enter, especially if the Demon King's side chick is there. See ya!" the Commandment of Faith saluted before being off to her own affairs. Meliodas waved his middle finger jokingly in response to salute her as well, before processing the last part of what she stated. "Wait, what the hell does "side chick" mean?!?" Meliodas questioned with eager concern, stopping in his tracks. Melascula knew he would respond that way, hence she dipped out of plain sight as soon as she stated it. 'That bitch...' Meliodas thought to himself, trying to shrug off concern for what she said. 'Perhaps it was a joke,' the prince thought, trying to move himself forward before he remembered a few months back...in the Celestial Realm.
'Wait' he thought upon realizing, coming to a halt in his stroll, 'Wait a damn minute, is that why-oohhh! Well, guess I better get going,' his thoughts finished, now rather eager to harass the Demon King than apologize.
Upon actually reaching the tall threshold leading to the entrance, Meliodas took a deep breath to calm himself down and appear composed and mature. Without thinking twice about it, he confidently stepped foot inside the palace. The guards there appeared to be appalled by the former Commandment's presence, yet, without hesitation and making eye contact backed out of the way, allowing him inside.
As he walked through the grand hallways, he couldn't help but feel a mix of nostalgia and trepidation. This place used to be his home, filled with laughter and camaraderie. Now, it felt like a distant memory, tainted by the corruption of dismal, twisted events of fate.
Finally, he reached the throne room where his father, the Demon King, sat upon his imposing throne. Oddly for once, Meliodas wasn't trembling as he approached him. Something was very off about him. For one, the Demon King wasn't in his full size. Also, his aura, it's not that the Demon King was less intimidating...it was just something Meliodas could not put his finger on that was off about him. The room was filled with tense silence as Meliodas entered, except for the whisperings of Cusak along with some other servants. Not to mention, the whimpering of Chandler, his former advisor.
"Father," Meliodas spoke, his voice steady and filled with alluded genuineness. "Meliodas, my eldest son," the Demon King calmly addressed his son. "I've come to apologize for everything I've done, for all the pain and destruction I caused."
The Demon King looked at his son with a mix of disappointment and weariness that stemmed mostly from himself. "Meliodas, you have indeed caused great harm to our race," he said, his voice filled with a weariness that came from centuries of ruling. "But you were not alone in this. We all have our sins to bear."
Meliodas's eyes widened as he heard the Demon King speak. Never once in the centuries of his existence had he heard such a response from him. 'Boy was I spot on, something is wrong with him,' Meliodas thought to himself, causing his eyebrows to frown out of confusion. The prince quickly glanced around the room, then back at the Demon King. Perhaps his father was willing to move on-and...hear him out, and...change?
Meliodas exhaled as he replied "I know I can never fully make up for what I've done, but I want to try. I want to rebuild our race, to bring back the unity and strength we once had." The Demon King keeping an oddly tranquil gaze on Meliodas replied "Son, it is quite considerate of you to make such a statement but I should be the one declaring that to all my creation." Meliodas had he not maintained self-awareness almost let his jaw drop. He couldn't tell whether this was some sort of sick joke or the truth. Meliodas knew the sarcastic and often twisted sense of humor the Demon King was accustomed to so he couldn't let his guard down.
The Demon King noticing what his son was communicating through his body language, let out a sigh that could be interpreted as either an actual sigh or a slight chuckle. The sight of it raised Meliodas's suspicion even further before his father additionally commented "Meliodas, I was never really the father I could have been toward you or your younger brother. Neither was I the leader I should have been. I'm afraid the leader of the Goddess Race and I are both at fault for the origin of this war. The war crimes you committed at my decree would have been void of existence had it not been for me."
The room was silent with contemplation. At this point, Meliodas was not the only one in the room attentively listening to the Demon King. Chandler had even stopped his weeping at the words the Demon King uttered. 'How bizarre a confession,' Cusack thought, observing the conversation. The Demon King knowing the type of comments he could receive from his subjects based on what he just said couldn't care less. After all, he still was their king. The leader of the Demon Race concluded by stating "You were always headstrong and reckless. But you were also a leader, a trusted and esteemed one, admittedly even more so than myself in the eyes of our race. What is needed right now throughout the realm is leaders to assist in any aspect the inhabitants, therefore, may need."
"If you truly wish to atone in the eyes of your people, then by all means do as you may see fit. You are still the eldest prince. But remember, forgiveness is not easily earned, primarily after such betrayal. Nonetheless, gaining my forgiveness isn't very fitting for this situation. I expect you would never see it fit to forgive me for the things I've done and that is in every aspect acceptable. Only know I do not have any ill intent toward you."
Meliodas agreed in silence as he nodded, somewhat shocked, definitely in disbelief. The throne room was silent as Meliodas's response was waited upon. Eventually, the prince let out a chuckle while a smile grew on his face. The Demon King and those present in the room were intrigued by the sight of Meliodas' response. Not only his response but his overall state. Everything from his aura, body language, and even eyes, which once only emanated the likeness of an abyss, was almost completely different from the leader and person he had once been. The Meliodas they knew prior to this would not express any type of liveliness. In other words, no one from the Demon Realm was used to seeing the Meliodas that was not filtered by the effects of the curse of the Commandment of Love.
Except possibly Chandler, but even he encouraged the callous Meliodas he once knew. Even the Demon King, seeing the way his son is now, despite not wanting to openly acknowledge it, could see the major mistake he made in showing both his sons and all those he probably influenced to deny the realness of emotions. Not feelings, but one of the driving forces that appears to give every being motive for the things they embark upon.
Nevertheless, Meliodas, now staring his father in the eyes, replied with an anti-climatic "Okay, whatever you say~" He then let out a sigh before continuing, as if nothing happened, "So, how is your relationship with the Supreme Deity coming along?" "WHAT?" Cusack exclaimed, causing the Demon King to jump slightly, not entirely processing what and why his son asked him what he did so abruptly...and randomly. Meliodas remained smiling in the mischievous way he tends to.
'My goodness, is this his new version of payback; humiliation,' thought the Demon King, trying to maintain composure. The only answer he could think of was to reply "Quite well, actually," in a "matter-of-fact" way, trying to play things off. Considering he was expecting her company today only made matters more uncomfortable for him. "WAIT, WHAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP?" Cusack exclaimed, appearing to lose composure and have a lot of concern. "Cusack, must you be so insolent to our clan's leader?" Chandler commented. "INSOLENT YOU SAY," Cusack halfway replied while flailing. The demon dramatically sighed before he continued "Tell me, did you have any idea about this!" "In fact I did," at this the Demon King's eyes widened before Chandler finished his statement with "Of course, the two of them have some type of relationship, they're clan leaders! How else would they have come to be allies?"
Meliodas noticed the Demon King sat back on his throne and that his eyes appeared to be calmer or...relieved. "Hey, did the two of you just see how he relaxed after Chandler mentioned he and Supreme Deity are "just allies," Meliodas commented with alacrity. "Young master, won't you stop instigating? Obviously, the Demon King would have enough sense to not partner with a goddess as you did-" "Hey, I will have no bashing of my son in my presence," the Demon King interjected. "SEE!" Meliodas clamored while pointing.
The irony of it all was when the Supreme Deity's arrival was announced by a royal guard not even a minute later; "Your Highness, the governing Lady of the Goddess Race has arrived." Meliodas began to laugh so hard he almost fell, but he was definitely crying. The Demon King attempted to shush his son as he replied to the guard "Thank you, open the doors leading to this room for her to enter." "Yes, sire," the guard replied as was commanded.
Meliods calming himself down was able to say "You know what, why don't I ask her when she gets here?" The Demon King lowered his hand so he could place his forehead in his hand while replying as if he were worn out by an energetic child "Do as you wish Meliodas."
As always, the Queen of the Goddess Clan's presence was regal and elegant. The Demon King usually amused himself with the things he noticed about her; not the rather sexually motivated observations, but also things like how her stature, although shorter than his, only added to her already ruler-like and authoritative tendencies, how gracefully she carried herself, her feminine mannerisms, and yet when she wanted to could be as crude, ruthless, harsh, and brutally honest as she desired. He had no idea why he appreciated such tendencies in her or why he cared so much. Yet, he knew that were he to have ruled with a queen, he would have desired a partner displaying her likeness in every way.
"Demon King," the Supreme Deity stated in acknowledgment of the ruler she favored. "Supreme Deity, it is as always an honor to be in your presence," the Demon King stated as he arose and toward her, taking her hand and bowing himself to kiss it, in a way that almost communicated "My Queen," to end his prior statement. Although the gesture itself isn't necessarily romantic, especially when it comes to leaders of opposite sexes greeting each other, this time, especially with the prior knowledge everyone in the room had, it was almost clear it was.
"My job is done~" Meliodas commented as he headed for the exit. "I don't want to know more about the relationship between the two of you than I already do, just don't go overboard, later!" the prince said, keeping his gaze forward as he walked out of the throne room. No one knew where he was going next but the ones who would probably be concerned most didn't seem to care while in each other's presence.
Without the Demon King having to say anything, since the only other two people around were Chandler and Cusack, they dismissed themselves and got as far away from the area as they could. Mostly out of shock and disgust but that didn't matter to the Demon King. Only the fact that they were gone is what satisfied him.
The Supreme Deity let out a slight laugh, due to the actions of Chandler and Cusack, before saying "You know, I don't think you gave me a tour of your oasis, Demon King." The Demon King subtly noticed how they were more touchy with each other. Not intentionally, it just sort of flowed. It felt natural for some reason. With a slight grin on his face and pulling the Supreme Deity closer by the waist, the Demon King replied "Are you sure you want to see the entirety of it and not just my bedroom?"
"Well maybe~" the Supreme Deity replied, with a slight grin on her face now as well. "Not that it would matter. You seem like the type that would get busy anywhere as long as no one's around," the Demon King replied jokingly, causing the Supreme Deity to pull away from him, although she knew he wasn't wrong. The Demon King then signaled for the Supreme Deity to follow him. Of course, the Goddess Race’s leader followed, as someone who is "sprung" would herd to their person of interest.
Their connection was uncanny, a deep understanding of each other's desires and flaws. And yet, their positions as deities prevented them from fully embracing their love. It was a cruel twist of fate, honestly well deserved, yet, the irony was not lost on either of them. But in the midst of this messy, tangled web of emotions, they found solace in their unspoken agreement. They would continue their relations, yet found a delicate balance between desire and duty, knowing deep down that their love could never be fully realized. Perhaps it was this unattainability that fueled their passion, the forbidden nature of their connection that made it all the more intoxicating.
The evening the Supreme Deity retired to her quarters after reading the Demon King's letter, a soft smile played on her lips. She couldn't deny the exhilaration that coursed through her veins, knowing that the Demon King patiently awaited her response. It was a dangerous game they played, a game of cat and mouse where they constantly teetered on the edge of forbidden love. And yet, it was a game they both relished, finding pleasure in the thrill of the chase. But as the Supreme Deity lay in her bed, her mind wandered back to the countless lives they had influenced, the pain and suffering they had caused. Guilt washed over her like a tidal wave, threatening to drown her in its depths.
She knew she couldn't allow herself to be consumed by this forbidden love since the possible consequences could be dire. So, she made a silent vow to herself. She would remain steadfast in her duties, refusing to let her desires tarnish the sanctity of their world. In spite of that, the queen also reasoned that two gods making love, not for the sake of procreation but for pleasure, wouldn't cause harm to anyone. That is, as long as it was kept secret.
Sure enough, as she regathered her thoughts, she realized the Demon King led the Supreme Deity to an aesthetic, sense-inducing, scene. Not necessarily a bedroom with a luxurious bed, aphrodisiac incense, and roses, but a scene similar to the one where her confessions were made between the two; a view of some of the most beautiful parts of the realm he created that was visible within eyeshot.
Although it may have been considered hell, that was only by those who had never really been there (goddesses spreading false information, humans being afraid of the unknown, and other the races feeding into it). In reality, it was a place of raw, untamed beauty. Only purgatory, a realm only a few unfortunate souls encounter, was the most hell-like landscape that the Demon King made. Yet, the Demon Realm itself was not nearly as bad as many falsely perceived. Many parts were similar to the vast landscapes of Earth, grass, and trees, except for a few alternative things that are necessary for the nature of Demons.
The Demon King knew that this serene setting would be the perfect backdrop for their clandestine encounter. The two of them reached the arch leading to this view, the Supreme Deity came to a slight halt, not expecting such a sight, as she never had real opportunities to observe the realm, as she had a couple to govern herself. The Demon King, now seated on an ottoman of satin and the best cotton one could find in the entirety of the realm, noticed the observant eyes of the Queen in his presence.
”Rhitta, is there something wrong?” He questioned. The Supreme Deity, slowly shifting her gaze to the Demon King, let a smile grow on her lips as she replied in her usual rich tone “Not at all dear, I just wasn’t aware your realm had such landscapes,” going to sit and lean upon the Demon King. Noticing her actions, the Demon King quickly adjusted, wrapping his arm around her, and pulling her near. The air between them was filled with a potent mixture of desire and power. The Supreme Deity could feel the heat emanating from the Demon King's body, his touch sending shivers down her spine. As they sat there, their bodies entwined, a newfound intimacy blossomed between them.
Noon turned to evening, and the two of them communed and laughed. The Supreme Deity and the Demon King surprisingly had a similar sense of humor. Although the Demon King was more expressive of that than the Supreme Deity was, which only deepened her odd admiration of him. Such ecstasy from being intimate wasn't anything the two of them had been used to for centuries.
Then, at last, there came a point when the excitement between the two calmed down, out of a bubbly feel to a more sensual, mature one. The feeling that called from both of them, deep within to be explored. They understood each other, not merely physically; it was a connection that transcended the boundaries of their respective realms. Their eyes locked, causing them to simultaneously move closer. The heat and passion they picked up from each other's bodies was almost insatiable.
Their lips touched, and their hands moved accordingly to embrace each other. Eventually, the Supreme Deity found herself on top of the Demon King’s lap, as he grasped her waist and fondled her hips in the heat of the moment. Their kiss deepened, practically hypnotizing the couple unaware are careless of their surroundings.
In the moment, the Supreme Deity subconsciously figured perhaps this was the connection that drove her daughter to have the boldness to rebel in the way she did. The driving force behind the Demon King's son to be willing to protect her daughter at all costs. She understood what love was, in spite of how messy and confusing it can be. At this point, so did the Demon King as well. Even after the darkness and chaos they both caused, the true source of those things was their own characters and the lack of feeling they exuded. Because in the end, it transcends all hardships and manifests its many depths in the lives of all. Even gods. Was this twist of fate the working of their creator, Chaos? Who knew? All that was necessary in that present time was the truth of the love they had for one another.

Chapter Text
At around a quarter to three, the pair of them made their way to the Demon King's bedroom, and as soon as the door closed, the Supreme Deity found herself lying flat on his silk sheets with the Demon King between her legs. She felt a rush of adrenaline running through her entire body due to how the Demon King decided to arouse her. He began to lift up her feet to his shoulders and began to start kissing her midsection, awfully closer to her, well, you know. To tease her, he moved from her lower section all the way up to her chest area, as he began to rub on her now-hardening nipples which he could feel through her dress.
So many moans of intense pleasure came from the Supreme Deity as the Demon King continued to fondle her, erotically grasping and messaging her robust features. “Mmph, ohh, just put it in me already!” the Supreme Deity exclaimed passionately through her moans of arousal and pleasure.
The Demon King then arose from hovering over her and found that the Supreme Deity began to unbuckle and loosen his clothing, leaving his muscular build exposed as well as what the Supreme Deity so desperately wanted to feel inside of her. She began to get even more touchy with the Demon King as he slowly took her dress off. Fully exposing her full curves and hourglass figure that was often quite alluring to the Demon King.
The Demon King began to rub his very erect and big penis against the Supreme Deity’s puffed up and throbbing clit causing her moans to become even louder and high pitch.
The Supreme Deity released a satisfied hum. Her voice began to slightly raise in pitch as she exclaimed “Oh, please stop teasing me, mph, don’t you want to see how your big dick feels deep inside of me?” The Demon King then inserted himself into the Supreme Deity’s wet and pulsating vagina and he began to passionately and intensely thrust her through.
“Oh! Demon King! mph, ooh, yes~ said the Supreme Deity as the Demon King began to moan from the contact between his penis and her wet, tight walls.
The Demon King started to thrust her harder. “Mph, Demon King, you have me here all night, take your time with me,” said the Supreme Deity. 'Some things are just not easy to slow down, I mean damn, you’ve been tempting me all night, can I at least have this?’ thought the Demon King. But, nevertheless, he began to work her slowly with a full, deep thrust into her body.
He went awfully slow for a while which was somewhat stimulating for him and at first the Supreme Deity. Or at least that was until the Demon King deepened how low he was on the Supreme Deity and began passionately kissing her and biting her neck. With added intensity, the Supreme Deity yelped “Ohh, fuck me harder~” the Demon King ‘She out of all people is cussing, she must really enjoy me getting deep into her, what a fucking freak she is’. He sped up a little bit as he put his finger in her mouth because he wanted to see how desperate she would sound and look. “Yes, ohh yes, ahh~please, baby, faster~
The bed the two gods were making love on began to shake a little due to the intensity of their intercourse.
The Supreme deity, who was on the verge of climaxing, was to her temporal displeasure surprised by the Demon King who stopped his vigorous thrusting within her.
She moaned “Ooh, Demon King, why did you stop? Please! I need you, mmh~ replied the Supreme Deity, feeling her opposing clan’s leader erect and long “sword” within her.
The Demon King laughed, “You’ll see, you desperate whore,” he said, while putting his thumb on the Supreme Deity’s tongue, practically sticking out her mouth in arousal.
“Turn around,” he whispered in the Queen's ear, somewhat mischievously. The base and masculinity in his voice persuaded the Supreme Deity to move, almost submissively because of how arousing it was for her to experience a man's dominance in bed.
Sure enough, with the direction of the Demon King, the Supreme Deity turned on her knees with her arse now directly where the Demon King’s penis was, playfully yet roughly slapping and firmly grasping her arse with both of his hands, causing the Supreme Deity to release even more passionate moans. Especially as the Demon King inserted his long “sword”, deep into her vaginal walls from behind and began wildly thrusting her through. The Supreme Deity’s moaning and words spoken due to the heat of the moment became much louder, with implied passion and intimacy.
“Oh, oh yea~ UH, you're in so deep!~” she practically hollered as the clicking and clapping sounds from the Demon King’s insertion rapidly picked up speed and he too himself was releasing some pleased hums of pleasure, as he was pushing her to a point of ecstasy with no return. About to climax, she passionately yelped “OH, UH~ I-i can feel it in my stomach~” ‘he has to be touching my cervix at this point~’ then thought the Supreme Deity in intense pleasure. In between screams of pleasure, as the two pushed their hips against one another, the Queen managed to utter “u-u I’m cumming~” as the Demon King teased, “You like that?” almost sinisterly while slapping the woman’s arse passionately once more. “OH, yes, yes Demon King~ OHH, UHH~” she replied with intensity as she felt the king’s thick sperm release into her causing her to just about go crazy as he rode her, deeply thrusting his climax into her.
The usually austere woman began to mutter and say “oh, fuck~” a few times as the Demon King had finished climaxing and was about to pull out of her.
“You want more?” said the Demon King, sexually massaging her most sensitive parts, as he slowly got off of the woman, who was still lying down on the bed. Still breathing rapidly while practically dripping in sweat, something she had not done in ages, the Supreme Deity spoke, “Not yet, Demon King. My goodness, baby, you had no mercy on me~" He grinned with pride at the sight of how well he pleased the Supreme Deity and began to get ready to bathe. “Oh, I know, I made sure of it. Would you have preferred it any other way, sexy?” The Supreme Deity profusely blushing, still feeling the rush of the intense orgasm she just experienced, replied "Well...no~" while shifting her leg position. The Demon King walked over to a window gazing at the source of the moonlight shining within the dimly lit room.
The Supreme Deity immediately became a bit curious as to why he was standing there, considering that he isn't usually the type to do such a thing. “Is something troubling you, my King? Why is it that you stand there instead of embracing me?” She said, with a slightly seductive tone.
The Demon King then turned around to face her with a welcoming expression. The Supreme Deity's loving yet lustful gaze didn't leave the Demon King's eyes as he strolled back to their bed. The King calmly replied, while looming over the Supreme Deity "Well, after the heat we just shared, why don't we go bathe together before the sun appears on the horizon and people start questioning?"
The Supreme Deity, pleased by her lover’s idea, as she felt his muscular build, said “I can get with that. Except, I can't promise we'll be bathing the entire time. You know, I've always wanted to feel this eight-pack of yours,” almost as if she were drunk, while somewhat distracted.
The Demon King smiled, “Hey, can you wait until we get there? Here, put this on,” he replied, as he grabbed a clean silk robe from his closet to give to her. "And, bring that bottle of wine over there," the King stated, as he winked at the Supreme Deity, leaving the door open behind him.
The Supreme Deity, with a warm grin on her face, grabbed what she was told to, along with her dress. After all, she couldn't and wouldn't allow herself to be seen nude by anyone. That is except by the only man she would give her body to.
As she draped the silk robe over her bare shoulders, the Supreme Deity couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement at what the rest of the night held in store for her. She walked with a slight sway in her full hips as the Demon King led her down the halls of his palace, his hand resting possessively on the small of her back as they walked. The air was thick with the scent of sandalwood and jasmine, and the flickering flames of candles and moonlight shining through some glass panes illuminated their path. 'Just what does he plan on doing to me? Will I be able to walk tomorrow?' the woman thought as she observed the scene.
The night held the answer to her questions, as the two of them surrendered completely to the bliss of the moment...
