Back To Where It All Started

Summary:

Severus fiercely clasped Harry's cheeks and demanded, "Look at me!" The young boy's heart raced with fear and his eyes swelled with tears. In a sudden and breathtaking move, Severus conveyed all of his memories to Harry through his tears. He knew he couldn't explain everything, but he also knew it was vital for Harry to understand the truth about Dumbledore's death. "The truth is in this," he declared with a resolute tone, as he handed over the tears. Severus knew he couldn't save Harry from the darkness that loomed over him, but he could offer him the truth. As his vision blurred and the colors faded, the last thing he saw was the piercing green eyes of Harry, the same eyes as Lily's. Severus fervently apologized to Lily for failing to protect her son from the horrors he was facing. He'd hoped he could have changed this outcome

Notes:

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey guys I'm exited for this story, i have no idea were i got the idea but im so writing it down I'm a big Severus X Lily Fan I've never like James (no hate on those how do). I think severus and lily could have a better relationship if Lily knew about severus situation. And this is an Au (i don't own these character) I am making up some characters so some i do own.

Anyway enjoy reading pepes.

Btw i will be editing these chapters after posting, ill be editing when ever i have time.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Severus gradually gets on his feet, and every part of him hurt like he was hit millions of times, "hardly any different from what his father had done, he would do far worse to him." He murmurs to himself, while he makes his approach to the washroom. The sensation was different in comparison to being physically struck. He carefully approaches a mirror, though when he gets there, looking slowly into his reflection, everything around him begins to spin. It felt like a punch throughout his body. He shrieked as he dropped to his knees, hitting the floor. He closed his eyes and lost consciousness.

In the Slytherin Common Room sat a group of boys, studying, until they heard a muffled shriek. "Did you hear that?" asked the blond boy closest to Severus's door. The group looked at him, confused. "You're probably hearing things, Lucius," answered one of the boys, who decided to go back to his book. Lucius, however, walked over to Severus's room and knocked but got no answer. A frown could be found on Lucius' face. He knew Severus was in this room, and he was probably up by now. He was going to turn back around, but he didn't like the feeling the shriek gave him. Slowly opened the door to find Severus on the floor, tears flowing down his cheeks and turning into blood. Lucius quickly grabbed the unconscious boy by the shoulders. He drags Severus into the common room, where the other boys are studying. They looked at Lucius, stunned by the blood on his tunic. "Don't just stare you, idiots; take him to the hospital wing". Two of the boys help Lucius carry Severus to the hospital wing. On the way there, Lucius attempts to stop Severus's eyes from bleeding; however, they show no sign of stopping, making the boys start running to the hospital wing while leaving a trail of blood on the way.

Lily was walking towards her first class, which started in another 15 minutes, but stopped upon seeing a trail of blood on the floor. Worried someone was injured, she followed it. It takes her to the hospital wing, where she finds the healer talking with Lucius. She has never liked Lucius; there were far too many rumors about him, none of them good, unfortunately. Her train of thought was interrupted by Lucius. He had started to yell frantically at the healer, and she walked closer to the door to have a clear way to hear him. "He passed  out; he was crying, and his tears turned into blood; he hasn't stopped crying; why hasn't he stopped crying? You just healed him; what is wrong with him?" He asked, demanding an answer from the healer, "Mr. Malfoy, please sit down. I understand you are worried about your friend. However, we still do not know the cause of Severus's condition or what caused it." Lily froze upon hearing Severus's name; she hadn't heard from him in a year after they had fought about James and his friends. She has been avoiding him. "I've been so frustrated with Severus that we lost our friendship," she thought to herself grimly. "But you just healed him; why isn't it working on him? If this continues, he'll die of blood loss," he argues. Lilly watched as the healer frowned and told the boy, "I am well aware of the circumstances, Mr. Malfoy". Upon hearing this, she gasps, "That can't be right; Severus can't die". She thought to herself, "Maybe it is a different Severus." She tries to convince herself. Furthermore, she slowly moves to a window near the patient to get a glimpse of them. She froze once again, seeing Severus's eyes bleeding, his cheeks stained red, and his clothes having many blood stains. She looks towards Lucius, who is still frantically talking with the healer, and she notices he also has blood stains. Lily turns back towards Severus, staring at him until she notices him starting to swarm uncomfortably. The bleeding is slowing down; she assumed he was going to wake up. So she was going to open the door; however, she stopped when she heard Severus yell a blood-curdling scream. Her heart stopped. She had never heard a scream in so much pain. She sees Lucius runs past the healer towards Severus's side, where he is unsure of what to do. The healer looked equally unsure of what to do. Lily couldn't take it, Severus screams were difficult to hear, she had to leave. She hesitantly steps back and runs towards her classroom.

Severus wakes up in the hospital wing. He sits up abruptly, triggering a headache. ' What happened? Was I saved? That's not possible; I'm sure I died at Hogwarts boathouse.' He looks to his left, where he finds a 15-year-old boy who resembles Draco. "That can't be Draco; he has long hair; Draco despises long hair; because it resembles his father far too much." He thought to himself, having a little more time to ponder different ideas, and his eyes grew wide, realizing, " That would mean this 15-year-old boy is Lucius." But that can't be because this boy is 15. Severus turns his head around to a window, showing it is noon, an hour past lunch. Everything looks normal, and a frown forms on his face, but Hogwarts was destroyed. Severus quickly turned his head towards Lucius, who was sleeping on a chair. Severus opened his mouth to talk to Lucius, but his throat was dry, making him sound sick. "Um, Lucius," he said, shaking him. Lucius opened his eyes, staring daggers at who had ever woken him up, realizing it was Severus, he abruptly stood up and yelled, "You absolute buffoon, do you know how much blood you lost? You cried like an idiot. What the hell were you doing that made you cry tears of blood?" Severus made a confused face, causing Lucius's eyes to widen and say, "You don't even know damn it,"  flopping down back to his chair and rubbing the top of his nose. Severus, still confused, asked, "What happened?" Severus' tone sounded demanding and cold. Lucius looks at him, surprised to hear this side of Severus. "..... I don't know either; I just found you in your room, passed out crying blood." Severus continues to question Lucius about the current event, shortly after the healer showed up to question Severus about the event.

The healer had said that Severus was fine at the moment but had lost an enormous amount of blood and must not do anything that would make his body pass out. Both boys slowly walked towards the Slytherin dormitory. Neither of them talked. Lucius stared at Severus, confused about the events that had just happened. Severus, on the other hand, was lost in thought, not quite believing he was in his 15-year-old body, which meant he was in his 4th year at Hogwarts.  "I could change it,"  Severus thought determinedly.  "Lily doesn't have to die; Lucius won't know Tom."  He’ll make sure that  "the people Tom killed won't have to die this time."  Severus recalled Voldemort proudly boasting about when he first started his master plan. Tom probably hasn't started killing the mudbloods around the school. Severus had researched every person Tom had killed during his school years; He had guilt from not being able to save them, from that horrible death. He made it his mission to torture himself into remembering their names. "I can save them," he thought to himself.

I'm Probably still going to continue writing
