Todoroki/Momo are having their first date.
Momo at her locker. Her black hair glistening, and her tall angelic figure filling the room but only one knows it.
Todoroki has had feelings hid for her. He knows he doesn't want to add any problems of his own in her life but wonders if shel felt the same.
"Bro come on.. Just ask her." Denki walked over eating an apple.
"Who? I'm not sure what you mean." He plays oblivious and looks back to his locker.
"Pft. You know.. if the rest of us noticed it, then she probably has to." Denki mentioned
He took a deep breath and looked over and walked over to her.
"Hi.."
"Hey..What's up?" She smiles and closes her locker
"Well.. I was wondering if you.. eat?" He stuttered
"What?" She immediately felt confused
Kiri and Denki in the back snorting from laughter which made Todoroki more nervous and it was visible to Momo.
"I'm sorry, what is it you're trying to say?"
"I'm.. uh.. wanted to know if you eat.. with me.. sometime?"
She said we're in confusion for a moment and then for the idea from the redness of his face wasn't just on his red side. "Oh.. Like a date?" She blushed
"Oh um.. yes.. unless you don't want to which is fine.." Todoroki being more calm
"No, no. I'd love to."
"You would?" He is surprised thinking she would not feel the same and would ruin their friendship
"Pick me up at 6?"
"Uh..yes! I'll be there." Todoroki blushed and half smiled
She smiled and winked then walked away.
"Congrats, Todoroki!" Kiri shook his shoulders.
"Yea.. now you just gotta make sure tonight is perfect. First impression is everything." Denki approached him as well
"Yea because you did so well." Kiri laughed
"What are you talking about? I was so smooth"
"That's not what I heard."
"What?!"
"Girls tell each other things ya know? Then they tell their boyfriends about it." Kiri laughed
"Shut up!"
"Momo will tell people if I don't make a good impression?" Todoroki feels worried
"Aw don't worry about it." Kiri wrapped his shoulder around him.
"Yea we'll help you." Denki added
Later that night, Momo is on the phone with itsuka getting ready for her date.
"I'm so nervous. I only had one date., and it was not really what you call a date." Momo finding the right outfit
"Oh please. You're gonna do great."
"Ugh. I don't know."
"Listen. Just be yourself. You have this entire time and he seems to like it."
"Yea.. I guess you're right. I better try and hurry it's 5:45"
"Okay, call me tonight and let me know how it went." Itsuka wished her luck
Todoroki pulled up and spoke through the intercom til the gate opened.
"Now don't worry. Just be yourself. Just not like all the way.." Denki on the phone before shoto gets out of the car.
"He means is.. Have some emotion. Show her you have feelings. Be a gentleman, but give her the ability to see she's still her own woman." Kiri in the back playing games with the guys
"See? We all wish you luck, Todoroki." Denki assured him
"I don't." Bakugou in the back ground
"Bakugou says he's rooting for you guys."
"What?!" A yell came from the couch
"Thanks." Todoroki hangs up. He takes a deep breath.
He rings the doorbell and the butler answers. "Can I help you, sir?"
"Um.. I am here to see Momo Yaoyorozu,Sir."
"Here I am." She appears to the door entrance. "We won't be out late. Let my parents know if they return home before me."
"Yes, Madam."
Her hair is let down, and she is wearing a dark purple shoulder less, lace, swing dress.
His eyes just looked upon her. He had not seen her hair down many times but it was always fresh to him when he did see her this way.
"What?" She blushes
"Nothing.. you just look really pretty."
She blushes. She knows Todoroki is not great with words but that meant much to her
He is wearing a long sleeved black shirt, with black jeans and his cologne smells so good.
"You look great, too."
He nodded and he went to open the door for her. She blushes while doing so and getting into his nice car.
As they arrive to the restaurant, Momo is trying to open her car door.
"No. Wait.." Todoroki unbuckles his belt and walks over to open the door himself.
Momo is blushing. "Thanks. You didn't have to do that though you know?"
"Oh.. I'm sorry. You're your own woman and I disrespected that."
"No no. Todoroki. It was sweet. Thank you." She assures him
As they are in the restaurant and are seated. The waiter arrives with menu's and water.
After they ordered they both felt awkward. They were classmates. They were hero's in
training.. but romance isn't what they signed up for but here they were.
"So.." She shrugs her shoulders
"So.. Does your parents know you're out..on a date?" Todoroki asks
"Well, not exactly.."
"Oh.." He looks away
"Not because I don't want them to know.. it's just they're away a lot. If they were there I would have loved if you met them."
"Oh.. me too." He smiles halfway.
After their meal arrives and they finish eating and look over to the east side of the restaurant and see dancing and light music.
"Would you like to?" He reached a hand out to her
She blushed "I'd love to."
She took his hand and was led to the dance floor.
He laid his hand on her waist and the other in her hand, as hers was on his shoulder.
The tension between them. The feeling like they're supposed to say something but don't know what it is.
However, their eyes locked and never left one another. What was needed to be said was left in looking in another's eyes and accepting how they feel. They wanted to lean in and as they did the music stopped and the vibe changed. They were both a little embarrassed and was ready to leave.
They decided to take a walk in town. His hands in his pockets and her hands locked together behind her.
"Can I ask you something?" She looks to him
"Of course."
"Why did you ask me out?"
He immediately blushed
"I mean.. I guess I just am a little curious.."
"Um..well to be honest.. You stand out. Your ability to grow. To use what you can and make the best of it.. the way you welcome anyone in with understanding.. You make me feel.. better."
She blushed and felt so beautiful in that moment. She was a sophisticated woman.. but when the boy she liked made her feel this way.. she remembers she is still glad someone can swoop her off her feet this way
They passed by a game room where Deku, and Uraraka were playing.
"Hey. Isn't that Momo and Todoroki?" Uraraka pointed
"Oh. Yea it is. I wonder what they're up to.."
She gasps "I bet I do!"
There was a man selling flowers, and Todoroki quickly took a $20 out of his billfold as Momo was looking at other things.
"Keep the change" Todoroki picked a rose and went to give to Momo.
"Aww.. it's beautiful." She blushes and smells it
He stares into her dark eyes and Momo loses herself in his.
"I'm really glad we did this.." He tells her caressing her hand
"Me too."
He leans in slowly and kisses her which felt amazing to Momo. She didn't think them two would ever be anything more than good friends and class mates but here she is.
