Chapter Text
“Hey AdriChat, do you think we’re rushing things?”
On the eve of their prom, Ladybug and Chat Noir wanted to scour the street making sure of any last-minute individuals that may have felt jilted that they didn’t have a date for prom; however, things seemed clear.
“Every day is a rush with you, My lady!” Chat chuckled.
As always, they ended their patrol on the Eiffel Tower, resting after vaulting and swinging all over town. Ladybug sat with her hands, fiddling in her lap, while Chat was playing with the settings on his baton.
Ladybug flicked Chat in the arm, “No Silly Kitty, I mean this…us…” She chuckled. “I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love where we are now, and I wouldn’t want to ruin things by doing something too soon or uncomfortable…” It wasn’t long before clawed hands collected her hands, and brought them to his lips, kissing the back of them.
“MariBug,” Chat started getting used to their new pet names, “You and I have been through a lot together; miraculous, kwamis, akumas, school? This is just one more thing that we get to tackle together. We can take the plunge right here, tonight, or we can do it when all our hair turns grey. All that matters is that we're finally together!” He finished by nuzzling her hands to his cheek.
Giggling, Ladybug removed one of her hands to place it in Chat tresses, “So you don’t mind if we don’t go all the way after prom?” She then took her petting hand away to scratch under his chin.
Chat chortled loudly, holding his stomach as he rose to his feet, “We can wait until we’re dust in the wind for all I care, Princesse,” He followed up by offering his paw to his lady, “You know I’ll follow you blindly to the end of the earth, M’lady.”
“That’s good to know,” Taking his hand, Ladybug allowed herself to be lifted to her feet; she sighed, “Yeah and you’re right, we have all the time in the world. We shouldn’t rush things…” Ladybug stood on her tiptoes to reach Chat, planting a kiss on his cheek.
Chat brought his paw up to his face, and smile; he watched as Ladybug strolled to the edge of the tower, he felt a sense of freedom knowing that he no longer had to hide his biggest secret away from both girls he fell in love with. He walked up behind her placing a claw on her shoulders, “And we have all night to finish solidifying our plans for prom.”
“Right, you're going to pick me up at home at 7:30, then we're taking your car to La Grande Hotel!” Ladybug turned, grasping Chat Noir’s hands in hers, looking at him lovingly in his eyes. “We're going to have an amazing night, just the two of us,”
“You and Me, alone together, against the world, M’lady!” Chat answered as he leaned down to capture a kiss.

Bright early morning sunrays hit the eyelids of the miraculous Guardian, there were benefits to having blind covers her windows. Speaking of which, Marinette carefully peered her eyes open; glancing around, she noticed that she wasn't surrounded by pink walls, pictures of friends, or stuffed animals.
Instead, she was in a large bed that smelled of forest and man musk; when she attempted to sit up to survey her surroundings, a large arm was draped around her waist holding her down. Upon further inspection, Marinette realized that this large man hand attached to her belonged to her kwagatama husband who was snoring into the back of her neck.
Marinette managed to slowly regain access to her upper half as she grabbed the blankets ahead of her, pulling herself out of Adrien's grasp. She stared around the room reliving the aftermath of what happened in the previous night. “Holy merde, that actually happened! We actually did it!”
“Yeah, we did!” In her excitement, Marinette hadn’t realized she said her inner thoughts; when she glanced back at Adrien, his eyes were still closed. After she rotated in his arms, she was able to brush his bangs out of his face, causing him to peek one eye open and smiled.
Regaining control of Marinette's body, Adrien grabbed her left shoulder and rolled her on top of him so that he was flushed on his back, and she was straddling his waist. Marinette lay still listening to Adrien's heartbeat while she played with his kwagatama, “I can't believe last night really happened…”
“I can, and it was the best night of my life!” Adrien rose his arms above his head, placing them behind his neck.
“I was just glad when you guys finally called it quits,” Plagg and Tikki made an appearance, him holding a small wedge of cheese and her with a chocolate chip cookie, “I thought you were going to be up for days!”
They chose to ignore Plagg and continued with their own conversation; Tikki floated to Marinette’s face, “Good morning, Marinette did you have fun?”
Marinette giggled, “I had a blast Tikki, thank you!” Giving her a tiny Kwami hug. “Do you know what time it is?” Marinette asked.
“It's time for us to go back to bed!” Adrien grasped Marinette by the torso, and continued to roll the two of them over, landing over on the other side of the side facing the main door. He tucked her underneath him so that her back was facing his chest and her cheeks were securely against his balls.
Tikki flew out of her hands and made her business elsewhere while Marinette relaxed against Adrien; she reached behind her, scratching his chin, “I know you hate water, but we need to take a shower; we have things to do today.”
“What, why?” Adrien whined, frustrated he backed away from Marinette, allowing her to remove herself from the bed.
“Because we're graduating tomorrow…” She started collecting her discarded clothes and pajamas.
Annoyed, Adrien grabbed ahold of his ballet and threw it over his head, “Come on, Marinette! This is the first time, I think in literally forever, where I didn't have to get up at the crack of-”
Making her way back to the bed, Marinette placed her knee on the mattress, brushing some hair out of Adrien's face, “If you come take a shower with me, I'll do that thing you like…”
“You’ll make chouquettes!” Even without his tail, Marinette swore she saw him waving it; he immediately piped up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the promise of a special treat.
Marinette giggled before she started scratching his wild hair, “If you get up and take a shower with me right now, I'll make you the biggest bag of chouquettes you've ever had!
Adrien quickly grabbed Marinette's face, smooching their lips together before he jumped out of bed, tackled her by the waist, and flung her over his shoulder. “Well, we better get a move on, those chouquettes won't make themselves!”
🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸GRADUATION DAY☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️
The Grand Palais is a large historic palace near the heart of Paris, there’s exhibition halls, museum complexes, but today it was host to the Collège Françoise Dupont graduation. Rows of chairs were all lined up in the front of the large presentation stage in celebration of this momentous occasion.
Parents, friends and loved ones littered the audience as they cheered on their young portages, readying them into the hellish world of adulthood. The stage was decorated with a giant banner before a podium with the school colors.
Marinette entered the hall, seeing everyone on the left side of the stadium, while her fellow graduates were setting up on the right. She took her seat amongst the other students, waving as she sat down; fixing her hair and dress while she waited for the ceremony to begin. After sitting for a bit, she noticed Alya and Nino coming in hand-in-hand, with Adrien not too far behind them.
Adrien nodded to Marinette before galloping up to her, when they met in the middle of the aisle; he gave her a kiss on the lips. He waved to Natalie who was taking pictures on her tablet while his father was scolding in the corner with his arms crossed.
Taking a seat next to Marinette, Adrien glanced around to make sure the coast was clear before he whispered in Marinette’s ear, “I guess I’ll have to call you a seamen-stress from now on!” Marinette was shocked, but laughed, hiding her face in his arm.
Adrien was referring to the “breakfast in bed” he received this morning after they took a shower, “I wanted a second helping, but someone wore me out…”
Marinette took a hold of Adrien’s hand, “By that, do you mean, ‘My father and Nathalie showed up earlier than expected, which caused me to transform before they found us out?’”
Adrien adjusted his robes so he could cross one of his legs over the other, “So, how long have you been waiting to do that?”
”Since before I knew what it was, oh and Alya told me he did it to Nino…” Marinette followed suite by moving her robes to the side. ‘Appreciate a man that wants to pleasure you first; he’s interested in more than your body...’ Alya is wise beyond her years….”
“Did I hear someone quoting my vast wisdom?” Nino and Alya were all smiles when they found Marinette and Adrien, both parties took a seat next to their respected bestie. Alya hooked her arm with Marinette’s as she leaned over and whispered in her ear, “So I didn’t hear from you last night after light outs… Did you guys…” Waggling her eyebrows.
“Alya, that’s personal, you can’t ask them that. You know Adrien doesn’t kiss and tell!” Nino bent forward to yell at his girlfriend from a far.
“Not ‘kissing and telling’ means there’s something to ‘kiss and tell’ about!” Alya joked.
Adrien removed his arm from around Marinette to fiddle, “We uh…”
Marinette interjected loudly, waving her hands in a panic, “We shared a very intimate moment, and we'll leave it at that…”
Finally, the lights dimmed as the stage showcased Mr. Damocles making an appearance on stage, “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Parents and esteemed faculty members; welcome to Collège Françoise Dupont seventh grade graduation! It is here today that we-”
Stretching his arms above his head, Adrien collected Marinette in his arms, “So Nino tells me that they’ve been going at it for a while now, Bug. We can’t let them bet us, we gotta win!”
Marinette giggled, “Win? Our sex lives are not competition, Adrien!”
“No, no! Of course not, but if it were one, we’d be in second place…" Of all the facts he knew about Marinette, Adrien knew how competitive she was, “What's that old saying, ‘if you're not first you're last’?”
“Yeah so?”
Adrien leaned over to seductively to put a bug in her ear, “I know how you hate to lose…"
“Now it is my extreme pleasure and honor to announce this year's two valedictorians, Max Mante and Sabrina Raincomprix!” Mr. Damocles clapped loudly as he moved out of the way to let the two students take the stage.
Sabrina started, "When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like astronaut, president, or in my case… princess.”
Adjusting his glasses, Max continued, “When we were ten, they asked again and we answered - rock star, cowboy, or in my case, gold medalist. But now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer. Well, how about this: who the heck knows?!”
Sabrina giggled as she went on, “This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, it’s time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere chill. Fall in love - a lot. Major in philosophy 'cause there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind. Then change it again because nothing is permanent.”
“So, make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask again what we want to be… we won't have to guess. We'll know." Max finished the speech with a rousing standing applause.
Ms. Mendeleiev began summoning the students to the stage, singling them to line up alphabetically; since Adrien was one of the first people that would be called up, he walked with Marinette to her spot; giving her a quick kiss on her cheek before he ran ahead of Marc.
Miss Bustier counted everyone in line before coming to the podium, “Now we will begin handing out the diplomas! First up, Adrien Émile Gabriel Donatien Athanase Agreste!” Marinette watched as her boyfriend walked up to their homeroom teacher and took his diploma; shaking the hands of the staff members and waved to the crowd as he walked off stage.
As a model, Adrien of course couldn’t help to strike a pose when the cameras started going off.
“Marc Anciel” His boyfriend, Nathaniel, cheered aloud from the back when he accepted his diploma.
While Alya and Nino were waving to their parents, Marinette had a thought, and after examining the line ahead of her and then behind; Marinette noticed something, “Psst, Hey Alya, I don't see Chloe or Lila. Not that I’m complaining…”
“Ivan Burel!”
His parents clapped thunderously as his little sister bounced up and down on her chair. Alya whispered back, “Girl didn't you hear, neither one of them could walk; they both have to take summer classes!”
“Alya Césaire!”
Otis Césaire was waiting in the wings recording the event, as his wife, Marlena, was at a buffet table for snacks for the guests. Nora, Ella, and Etta cheered the loudest, putting Nino to shame.
“Juleka Couffaine!”
Jagged Stone was helping Luka cheer on his twin; he was sitting with their mom Anarka, Penny and Fang.
“Marinette Dupain-Cheng!”
Marinette glanced over into the crowd searching for her parents, Sabine, Tom, Gina, Rolland, even Socqueline showed up to help support her.
“Mylene Haprèle”
Her father, Fred, and his acting troupe made a huge banner that they displayed behind the other parents.
“Lê Chiến Kim Ature!”
Both of his adoptive fathers performed a mini wave when Kim accepted his papers, when he was off the stage, Ondine came up and squirted him with a water gun.
From behind her, Nath tapped on Alec’s shoulder, “Hey did you know Kim’s last name was Ature?” She took her head and hunched her shoulders.
“Alec Kubdel!”
Both her father, and brother were able to shut down the museum to participate in this momentous occasion.
“Nathaniel Kurtzberg!”
Marc returned the congratulations with such vigor.
“Nino Lahiffe!”
As his mother roared with delight, Chris was slumped in the chair playing a video game.
“Rose Lavallant!”
To help Juleka praise Rose, Luka and Jagged both used their guitars to deliver a riff, “Yeah that’s my future daughter-in-law!”
“Zoe Lee!”
Both Andre and Jean were there to show their support, giving Zoe a standing ovation, Audrey was too busy with her nose in a magazine.
“Max Mante”
Markov was hovering in the audience, displaying Claudie on his screen, even though she was on another space mission, didn’t mean she was going to miss her son’s graduation.
“Sabrina Raincomprix!”
In his excitement, Officer Raincomprix shot off a few celebratory shots in the air; scaring the room.
“Kagami Tsurugi!”
Tomoe did her best to show emotion towards her daughter, she wasn’t valedictorian, but she had a bright future at any college with all her extracurricular activities.
Once Kagami was off stage, Mr. Damocles came back up to the podium, “Thank you friends and family to help celebrate these young minds going out into the world. With that being said, congratulations class of 2023!”

In lieu of recent events, Gabriel Agreste was “gracious” enough to host an end of the year graduation party for Adrien and his friends. When they arrived at the mansion, there was a special DJ booth, a few buffet tables with treats and drinks.
Adrien was busy in his room, changing out of his graduation robes when he heard a knock on the door, "Adrien, are you ready?” Marinette entered the room in a fluffy pink party dress with her hair done up in a bun. “How are you doing?”
Underneath his robes was a white blazer with blue jeans, Adrien was buckling his belt after he hung up his graduation cap. “I'm exhausted-”
“Me too! I didn't think that ceremony would go on for so long!” Plagg whined when he showed up with a wedge of cheese.
Marinette scoffed, “I was talking to Adrien, Plagg and the ceremony wasn’t that long!” She placed her fist on her sides.
After swallowing his camembert whole, Plagg floated away, “Yeah sure of course you were! No one ever asked the Kwami how they fell!”
As the two of them giggled, Marinette stepped forward taking Adrien's hands in hers; she took a deep breath before she spoke, “This whole thing between us has been one Wild Ride!”
“I'll say, but…” Adrien took one of his hands and reached down to caress her cheek, “There's no one I'd rather take that ride with then you my ‘seamen-stress’ Princesse!”
That comment earned him a smack in the chest, “I told you not to call me that!” Marinette crossed her arms over her chest, turned around and pouted.
“Oh come on, Bugaboo, it's a cool nickname that only I know about!”
Rolling her eyes, Marinette huffed as she grabbed Adrien by the wrist, “Let’s go, Prince Chaton! We’re missing out!” Adrien grabbed his sleeveless vest off his bed as the two headed downstairs to the party.
