bede could not take hops mother talking anymore. it was no offense to her at all, she just could not deal with social interactions when she was only here to see hop and get away from the gym because everyone was concerned about how she was because rose was released from prison.

soon the front door opened and there was bedes godsend, marnie. hops mother stopped talking and imminently started trying to talk to marnie

"oh marnie! hop didn't tell me you were also coming-"

marnie immediately cut the woman off

"it was a short notice thing, bede come on before your cake gets sad"

marnie immediately walked up the stairs with bede right behind her, they opened hops door to see the girl flopped on the floor glaring at the ceiling. she perked up hearing the door open and smiled over at them.

"hey guys!"

marnie sat next to hop on the floor as bede sat on the bed

"hey hop"

marnie smiled down at hop, patting the girls head.

bede rolled her eyes and set the cake down on hops desk, fixing her skirt as she sat back down on the bed. hop glanced up at bede, a frown pulling at her lips.

"hey, you doing okay?"

bede let out a soft sigh

"im certainly something"

hop pouted slightly, marnie narrowed her eyes at bede.

"that tells us nothing"

bede smiled at them

hop threw her hands in the air

marnie huffed out a laugh while bede snickered, hop pointed at bede and looked at marnie

"we are having a sleepover and if you two say no im pulling the transphobic card"

marnie smacked hops head

bede rolled her eyes and just noded.
