Chapter Text
“But according to the Vienna Clause in subsection twelve of the Omega Accords, you do have to honor all Omega claimed mating bonds.” Sam didn’t bother to look away from the stuffy representative for even a single moment, simply shuffling through the memories and images in his mind as the correct information came to him. “Delegate Shurley signed on behalf of your nation. Are you now trying to assert that this was done in error?” His low baritone had never wavered, hadn’t hesitated for even the briefest of moments, Sam had simply let the Alpha’s of the nation know that he was an Omega that was not to be trifled with. “Because if that is the case, we would need to have the situation remedied in the most expedient manner possible.”
Sam could see the fear creep over their faces then, knew that they were aware of the wildly outlandish rumors that had swirled around at the end of the war. About how two Omega’s had brought a nation to its knees, which was not accurate, it had technically been three, but who was Sam to quibble over minor details. He glanced over towards Dean, who had come to Washington just for this conference, as he preferred to spend his days on the ranch with Castiel and their children.
“Please, Alpha, if you insist, I will stand as his second should you feel the need to contest the matter further.” Dean’s smile wasn’t cold, exactly, but it wasn’t warm either. Sam knew his patience was wearing thin, as was Sam’s truth be told, but he also knew that these Alpha’s would thrash and wail in a last desperate effort to get their way. “Sam, do you think the cleaners will be able to get all the blood out of the carpet a third time? Or will we have to have it replaced… again?”
Sam barely contained his grin, knowing that Dean’s veiled threats would help to bring the disrespectful Alpha’s to heel. Sam could feel the eyes on his massive frame, knew that they were carefully assessing, he allowed a single claw to extend, as he used it to swipe a donut off the center tray. Holding it out to Dean as the Alpha sputtered and then politely declined to debate the issue further.
The brothers exchanged perceptive glances, perfectly well aware of what Adam would say were he to get wind of this. Lucifer would laugh about it, commend them on their spunk, but Adam would simply sigh and softly ask that they not do it again. Knowing full well that in the face of everything that Alpha’s had done for decades on end, this was the barest pittance against what was owed to them.
Their half-brother was now the co-President of this great nation, along with their brother-in-law. The twist of fate that had been needed for that to come into being, well, it was almost as if it were divine providence. As if two great deities had finally helped their children find the correct path once more.
The meeting concluded shortly thereafter, and Sam followed Dean down the corridor to their set of suites. They could hear the children’s raucous laughter before they even laid a hand upon the doorknob. Sam was quickly mobbed by the twins, Joseph and Michael, while Dean was taking Elizabeth from Luke.
“She stinks, Daddy.” Dean simply accepted the newest addition to the family, taking Luke’s hand in his own as he led them to the changing table. “Well, let’s see what we can do about that.” Luke’s nose wrinkled, but he helped out as Dean quickly changed the dirty diaper.
Sam looked over to find Jimmy and Castiel sitting on the couch, studying the chess board that sat between them with a great deal of concentration. In the blink of an eye, Sam saw all the possible moves play out in his mind, knew what route Jimmy would choose, given his history, and then laughed softly. “Sorry, Castiel. But it will be checkmate in three moves.” Both twins turned to look at him, Jimmy with a look of love on his face, Castiel was leaning towards mild annoyance.
“It’s not fair for you to let him know that he’s going to win!” But Castiel put his head down as he tried to figure a way around his twins rather adept moves.
But that had been hours ago, and now the suites were quiet, except for the soft gasping cries that Sam was pulling out of Jimmy’s barely parted lips with every shift of his hips. Sam loved to straddle Jimmy and ride him into oblivion, until his beloved Alpha’s knot would finally lock them together and they would kiss until it went down. Softly professing to a love that neither could live without.
But tonight was different. Sam grasped Jimmy’s hand and moved it between them, until it rested low on his belly. He could feel Jimmy’s head turn, and then his Alpha’s nose was pressed against his neck as he inhaled deeply. “Really?” The astonished exclamation thrilled Sam to the tips of his toes, and he curled around his Alpha, the one who would father yet another child with him.
“Yeah, darlin’.” He kissed Jimmy so tenderly then, “I love you.”
“And I love you, dearest.” Brilliant blue eyes met his own hazel orbs, and Sam knew, in his heart, that nothing could ever tear their love asunder. That this is how it had always been meant to be.
They lay curled around each other, as their hands trailed over their well-sated flesh, knowing that the world had changed. That from when they were born into it to this very moment, the world had been irrevocably changed for the better. And they were a major part of that effort.
That two sets of brothers had set a world back to how it had always been intended to be. That their children would live out a peaceful life thanks to the sacrifices that their father’s had made.
Sam smiled softly then, knowing that he had never sought out this life, but knowing that he was grateful that he and his Alpha had attained it.
The End
