Summary
A hair dresser, a prostitute, a laundromat, and a mutual understanding. This is my take on Bea and Allie meeting before Bea tries to kill Harry. Basically Ballie pre-Wentworth. (Fair warning, this is a WIP and it's very possible that I will not finish it - this is entirely my fault, I am not proud of it - so if you do choose to read this, feel free to enjoy and do know that I will try to, at the very least, end it on a high note.)

'What brings you here so late?'
The blonde looks up as if caught off guard. ‘Laundry.’ she replies flatly, then laughs, a dry, self-deprecating sound. ‘Actually, I’m hiding from life. Just for a bit.’
‘Aren’t we all,’ murmurs the woman, more to herself than to the blonde, but the blonde hears her anyway and shoots her a knowing smile.
‘So what’s your story?’ the blonde asks bluntly, not concealing her interest.
The woman looks up, pleasantly surprised by the bluntness of the question. She sizes up the blonde, not breaking eye contact. ‘What makes you think I have a story?’
