Chapter Text
Tom walked through the hallways of the red army base, trying his best to keep a straight face. The wires in his eyes were annoying him again, but he didn't want to go ask Tord for help. Wouldn't even be worth it. Last time the commie "fixed" it, viruses and crap kept invading through it. Took him weeks to clear that out. Matt walked beside Tom, his red pupils glowing in the dim light.
"You've been quiet. Usually you can't shut up," Tom said as he glanced at Matt. Matt seemed to be snapped out of something and looked at Tom.
"Huh? Oh yeah! I'm just worried," Matt admitted. He glanced at the gun in his hands, and gripped it tighter.
"Bout what? Your looks?" Tom frowned.
"Hardy har har. You know I can't use mirrors anymore! It's not that anyway," Matt muttered, frowning at Tom.
"Then what is it? Just tell me already so we can head to the meeting!" Tom growled, the visor eyes going red in annoyance.
"I wonder how Edd is doing is all."
"Why do you care all of a sudden?" Tom asked, suspicious. Matt has been know to betray him at any given moment. His childhood, when he got vamped, heck, even one Halloween in like- 2005 or something!
"He's my friend?" Matt said, lifting an eyebrow at Tom. Tom sighed and kept walking towards the meeting room. Meetings... right. They were annoying. Especially since Tord suggested Matt and Tom to always go to them. Matt followed closely behind, watching his feet.
"Wow you really do care don't you?" Tom asked, looking back at the vampire. Matt looked up and nodded. "Well, Matt, I'm sure he's fine! You saw him during the cola shortage! He almost killed Tord!" Matt chuckled, making small snorting sounds as he laughed.
"You really think he's okay?" Matt asked, hope in his eyes.
"Yeah. Besides, seeing Tord dead wound be the best sight I would have seen in years!" Tom laughed, his visor turning a shade of green. Matt nodded, laughing. Then, a small noises was made.
"A message?" Tom asked. On his visor, you could clearly see a envelope on it. "Should I open it?"
"Uhm.. sure! Maybe it's just Timothy trying to prank us again!" Matt said.
"Alright. Here goes," the envelope on screen opened up.
"Dear Tom and Matt,
I hope you two are doing okay. I think. I hope you get this. Don't ask how I got this message to your visor Tom! I'm alive and well thank you very much! Asdssffvhhhjjjbvcddfgdhghhdyfdjddydfjydjdfydydhfdhdfhjfhdjjtrsfydfkdhjdhjjjhjjjjjjjjjjjjj...... Sorry, Ringo stepped on the keyboard. Anyways, meet me at our old house. The blown up one. Tomorrow. 2 a.m. Don't be late. I have snacks, alcohol, and cola.
From, Edd!" Tom said out loud. Matt grinned, revealing his sharp fangs.
"Looks like we are going on an EDD-venture!" Matt grinned, amused by his own pun. Tom looked at him, not a hint of amusement on his face.
Little did they know that someone was watching.
