Magical And Fantastic, Bows And Sparkles

Her infectious laughter as she sprinted ahead to the shop which stood before them, where an array of intricately-designed, fanciful mouse ears of sparkling sequins, delicate ribbons and slender headbands placed a small smile on his face. With a soft chuckle which he hid behind his hand, Clyde made his calmer strides towards the stand where she was marveling at the wares, letting her fingers run over them before she retrieved them at random to place them on her auburn locks.

Clyde grinned as he heard Ophelia's exclamations of delight while she admired her reflection in the lengthwise mirror, beaming like a girl in a candy shop as she admired her latest acquisition, a bright pink sequinned set of ears complete with Minnie's white polka-dotted pink bow.

"Clyde! Come here! Oh my gosh, this is so pretty! What do you think?" Ophelia asks with a grin as she dashes over to embrace him. Reaching out a hand to touch at the satin bow with a soft smile, Clyde chuckles as he replies "Yes, very pretty! I like it. It really suits you, Phee. Let's get this for you, my treat.".

The excited laugh and cuddle which came readily from his sweet girl was all that he needed to feel in the world. Clyde returned her embrace happily with the fond compliment of "My beautiful darling." before he felt her release once more. "Thank you, Clyde! I love to return the favor as well. Come look, they have Mickey ears too! Pick one, this one is my treat." Ophelia suggests as she drags Clyde over to another display where, oh gosh, sparkling ear caps lay. He was hesitant to choose one, lest of all, wear them around all day and the resistance from the slowing of his footsteps showed that.

"Uh… it is okay, Phee. I really don't need one. Your pretty one is all we need. I can go without…" Clyde stammers hesitantly as he stares up at the glittering caps with dread. "Oh! Is this because they look silly and all… Do I look silly? I do, don't I…? Maybe I shouldn't…" Ophelia deliberates as she starts to take her ears off while a pink blush forms over her cheeks.

Oh shoot… The last thing which he wanted was for his angel to feel hurt. And the expression on her face was… full of that… Feeling a great urge to salvage the awkwardness of the moment, Clyde hastily grabs a cap, a red one with black sequinned glimmering ears to place it on his head. "No! No. You, we look wonderful. Yes, I like this one. I look good like that. Let's get this one, Phee?" Clyde states with what he hoped was a winning smile.

"Yes! You look so good, Clyde! Let's go pay for these and take lots of photos for our Insta! We are going to have so much fun today!" Ophelia exclaims as she excitedly takes Clyde's hand to run to the checkout counter, grinning as the cashier rang up their purchases before they paid for their ears with soft giggles and playful nudges.

The day was beautiful and fun, possibly one of their best dates ever since they had started going out, coming on a year now. One where Ophelia suggested all kinds of trending poses for stories where they proudly exhibited their treasured ears.

There were plenty of characters decked in their elaborate costumes as they performed for the visitors and posed for memorable pictures. Clyde noticed with amusement that Ophelia would tap at his shoulder enthusiastically whenever a character princess approached them. She would pose with them in her pink dainty t-shirt which featured those said princesses along with the caption of "Princesses Rule!" printed over them in girlish fonts, all of the times in styles memorable to the movies.

They went on rides too, many of them, such as the fantastical water ride of "It's A Small World", the assortment of colorful spinning teacups of "Mad Tea Party" and even the ghostly dark ride of "The Haunted Mansion". Ophelia had been a little terrified by that one, Clyde could tell, as she repeatedly covered her eyes with her hands and ducked into his sleeve whenever the scares came too close. But he was proud of her gamed enthusiasm of visiting the ride nonetheless, and he let her know through his affectionate pecks on her cheek and his making up for her ordeal through an offer of a huge sweet cloud of strawberry cotton candy.

And the night… the night was simply magical, made so through the fireworks display of "Happily Ever After" which emanated around the majestic spires of Sleeping Beauty's castle. A medley of multicolored awe-inspiring sparkles which illuminated the sky along with its attractive lightshow and moving music.

"Thank you, Clyde, for bringing me here. It is the best day of my life! So full of joy, wonder and magic. I have never been so happy, reliving my childhood classics with you." Ophelia exclaims as she turns to embrace Clyde with glistening eyes, where the happy tears had started to trickle down her cheeks.

Clyde smiles as his arms tighten warmly around Ophelia's waist before he pulls her close against the flush of his body. "Always, Phee! It makes me happy seeing your joy. And I had the best day too!" Clyde replies before he bends his head slightly to place long lingering kisses at her lips, which turned into stronger and passionate ones as their tongues explored each other. It was a magical day and this was a spellbinding end to a wonderful night and he would not have this any other way.
