iGet Cursed

Summary:

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Halloween is coming up in Seattle and everyone's excited! All seems normal until something unexpected happens in Bushwell Plaza. Will the iCarly gang be able to survive this scary Halloween experience?

Disclaimer: I do NOT own iCarly or any of its characters. Dan Schneider owns them. I also don't own Halloween.

Note: This story takes place in the 2007 version of the show that aired on Nickelodeon.

Notes:

Hello! Welcome to my very first iCarly story! Since Halloween is this month, I thought I would share a story for Halloween with the iCarly gang. If the characters don't act like in the show, this is my very first iCarly story so sorry in advance. By the way, this is for the 2007 version of the show and not the awesome 2021 revival. Anyways, enough blabbering, let's head in, shall we?

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

"And we are clear," Fredward Benson said as he put the camera down and pushed some buttons to stop the live broadcast of their web show.

"Great! Mama needs her ham, stat," Samantha Puckett said as she left the studio and went downstairs to get the ham.

"I better go check on her," Carly Shay said as she followed behind Sam.

"You do that. I'll be down there in a sec," Freddie said as he typed something on his laptop.

Downstairs, Sam looked through Carly's fridge frantically finding her ham. She found a foiled up food and took it out. She peels the foil out and finds half eaten ham. She ate the other half yesterday because she was hungry. She started eating her ham with a fork and went to a ham paradise.

Carly came down and went over to Sam, who ate the ham every time she moaned when she put pieces of the ham in her mouth.

"Eating ham, huh," Carly said as she went over to her fridge to get some green grapes out.

Sam moans again and says, "Yes. I can't go one day without eating my beautiful ham."

"Sam, you do realize that the ham is my ham, right?"

"Yeah, I know. You should know by now that I barge in here every day and eat whatever I can find, even ham."

Sam continued eating the ham while Carly sat at the table and ate some grapes. Freddie came down and saw Sam moaning with her ham. He went over to Carly and said, "Wow. Sam really loves your ham."

"Yep. She's just been there for a few minutes, and she's almost done with it."

"That's Sam for you."

Just then, Spencer Shay came out of his room and went to the door.

"Hey Spence. Where are you going," Carly asked her older brother.

"Oh, I'm going over to Socko's place. He texted me and told me to come over immediately," Spencer responded.

"Cool. Have fun," Carly replied and ate a grape.

"We will," Spencer said and left the apartment room.

Sam threw the foil away and said, "Well, Mama's done. Got anything to drink? I'm thirsty?"

"I got tea. Ya want some," Carly answered Sam.

"Sure," Sam responded.

"Okay. Freddie, you want some too," Carly asked Freddie.

"Sure," Freddie said as he went over to the computer.

Carly grabbed three glasses and the pitcher of tea. She poured into the three cups and handed Sam and Freddie theirs.

Sam groaned and said, "Carls, can you believe Ms. Briggs gave Freddie an F on a quiz?"

"Sam," Freddie screamed at Sam, "you're not supposed to tell anyone!!!"

Carly spitted her drink back into her cup and asked, "Really? What happened?"

Sam looked over at Freddie and said, "Fredweird, tell Carly the story."

"No. I'm not telling her the story," Freddie defended himself.

"What happened to not keeping secrets from each other," Carly asked Freddie.

Freddie huffed and said, "Fine. I'll tell you the story."

Sam celebrated and said, "Yes! Mama's gonna need to pop some corn for this story."

"Go ahead. I already popped the corn," Carly responded as she pointed over to a bowl full of popcorn.

Sam ran over to the bowl of popcorn and got her melted butter in a measuring cup.

"Go ahead, Freddork," Sam called out for Freddie to tell the story.

"So, you remember that test we took in Ms. Briggs on Wednesday?"

"Yeah. What about it," Carly asked.

"Well, apparently she accused me of cheating off of you and gave me an F."

"Did you tell her you didn't cheat?"

"I tried, but she didn't listen to me. Whenever I want to say something, she interrupts me."

"Does your mom know about this?"

"No and I can't let her find out. If I get one F on any test, quiz or homework assignment, she grounds me for a whole month and I can't do iCarly until I'm ungrounded," Freddie explains.

"How come you didn't tell Principal Franklin," Carly asked.

"I was going to, but on his door, he had a sign that said, 'Please come back later. I'm discussing with another student’."

"Oh yeah. That was me," Sam chimed in.

"What did you do this time," Carly asked, rolling her eyes.

"I started a fight in the cafeteria," Sam said quietly, but able for Carly and Freddie to hear.

"Why," Freddie asked.

"Because someone took my tater tots."

"How come you didn't get more tater tots," Freddie asked, staring at Sam as he cracked a smile at her.

"Because," she paused for a bit and said, "I don't know."

"Well, who stole your tater tots," Carly asked.

"Uh, Noseby Moseby," Sam replied.

"He probably wants his bacon back," Freddie chuckled behind the computer.

"Freddie," Carly said as she smacked Freddie's hand softly.

"What? I'm just saying," Freddie replied back.

"You know, you never acted like that," Carly said to Freddie.

"I was just joking is all. Can't I just joke about," he then saw the view count and said, "Hello! We just got more views from our show today."

"Really? How many," Sam eagerly asked.

"Ooh, I don't know if I should say it out loud," Freddie said, worried about saying the numbers.

"Why? I thought you were smart, Benson," Sam argued at Freddie.

"I am. It's just that my mom doesn't allow me to say certain numbers, words or actions I reenact," Freddie argued back.

"Here, let me see," Carly said as she tried looking at the views. However, Freddie blocked the computer. Carly got annoyed and said, "Freddie, move. Please."

"No. If you say it out loud, he will come and curse you tomorrow," Freddie explains.

"Who's he," Carly asked.

"Yeah, and why is he coming tomorrow on Halloween," Sam asked also.

"All you need to know is that he is a bad man and curses you if you say the numbers on October thirtieth, and October thirty-first," Freddie explains once more.

"Fredweird, did you hit your head again on another taco truck," Sam asked.

"No," Freddie responded angrily at Sam.

"Sounds like someone had a bad day today," Carly sang as she walked over to the pitcher of tea and poured more into her cup.

"It's not that, Carls. It's just," he pauses for a few seconds and says, "Okay, I am having a bad day."

"So, are you going to let Carly and me see the view count or are you going to hide them forever," Sam asked.

"You girls aren't seeing anything," Freddie snapped at them. He closed the website down and opened a new tab.

"Fredward, you do realize we have our Pear Phones, right," Sam asked.

Freddie stares at Sam as she has her Pear Phone in her hands. She sets it down and goes over to Carly. When he was about to get it, it disappeared into thin air. He looked shocked and confused about Sam's Pear Phone. He saw Sam coming back and pretended that he was searching something up. Sam comes back and looks confused.

Freddie asked, "What's the matter Sam? Can't find something?"

Sam looked up at Freddie. Her eyes were filled with anger and looked like they were about to kill someone or something. She ran over to Freddie, but they ran around the table. Soon, he left the table and went behind Carly. He grabbed her shoulders and said, "Sam's a maniac! You need to protect me!"

Carly looked confused and asked, "Why?"

"She thinks I stole her Pear Phone."

"Did you?"

"No, it disappeared."

Sam came up and tried getting past Carly, but she didn't let her.

"Carly, you need to let me by so I can strangle Fredweird," Sam responded.

"Woah! You're not strangling no one. Not even Freddie. Calm down. What has gotten into you guys," Carly asked.

"Benson stole my Pear Phone," shouted an angry Sam.

Carly looked at Freddie and said, "Did you steal her Pear Phone?"

"No, it just vanished. I swear, you have to believe me, Carls," Freddie begged as he gripped Carly's shoulders tighter.

"Don't believe him, Carly! You knew me before you met him," Sam argued back.

"Well, I had the biggest crush on Carly when I first saw her in fourth grade so, don't believe Ms. Eats-A-Lot," Freddie argued back at Sam.

"He's a boy!"

"She's a girl!"

"Freddie's a techy dorky guy!"

"Sam's a hobnocker!"

Sam gasps and says, "How dare you call me a hobnocker, you hobnocker!"

The two kept arguing until Carly got a spray bottle full of water and sprayed both of them. They both covered themselves with their hands and backed away.

"Guys! You both need to get along! I'm tired of seeing you guys fight every single day over a little thing! Calm down and get along, geez," Carly shouted at Sam and Freddie. She then left and went upstairs to her room. The two looked at each other and started arguing again.

"It's Freddork's fault Carly and you know it," Sam shouted up the stairs.

"No, it's Sam's. She barges in every time for food," Freddie yelled back.

Sam looked angrily at Freddie, "I knew her longer, doofus!"

"Oh yeah, well, I knew her in fourth grade," Freddie angrily said to Sam.

"I'm always partners with her!"

"I enjoy eating Carly's food better than any other food restaurant or my mom's cooking!"

"Says who?"

"Says me!"

"Well, I hate your opinion."

"Well, that's okay. You don't have to agree with my opinions, Puckett!"

Three hours later and they were still arguing, only this time, they're fighting over what show to watch.

"I want to watch Galaxy Wars," Freddie argued.

"Well, I want to watch the Girly Cow show," Sam argued.

"Galaxy Wars!"

"Girly Cow!"

"Galaxy Wars!"

"Girly Cow!"

They continued arguing when Spencer came in. He saw them on the couch, wrestling the TV remote. He went between them and said, "Woah, woah, woah! What's going on here?"

"Tell Freddork to go watch his stupid show at his house," Sam yelled at Spencer.

"Well, tell Sam to go watch her stupid show at her house," Freddie screamed at Spencer.

"My show's not stupid," Sam argued at Freddie.

"Well, my Galaxy Wars isn't stupid either. It's actually pretty cool," Freddie argued back.

"I have to admit," Spencer paused and looked at Freddie, "Galaxy Wars is pretty cool."

"Yes," celebrated Freddie as he put his arms in the air.

"Hey," Sam yelled at Spencer, "What about me? Aren't you going to back me up?"

"Well, I never really saw Girly Cow before so, sorry," Spencer replied.

"Ha! That's one point for Team Freddie," Freddie chimed in.

"But, before we get excited," he said and pointed to Freddie, "You shouldn't call both of your shows stupid. They're unique in their own way. By the way, where's Carly?"

"She's upstairs in her room," Sam and Freddie said in unison. They look at each other and start arguing again. Spencer got in between them again and said, "Guys, chillax! You two are coming with me!"

Spencer pulled both of their arms and went upstairs to Carly's room. Spencer knocked on her door and said, "Carly! It's Spencer! I brought Freddie and Sam! What's going on with them?"

Carly opened her door and pulled Spencer into her room, "They've been fighting because Sam lost her Pear Phone, and she blamed it on Freddie."

"Did he steal it?"

"No! He said it vanished into thin air."

Spencer thought for a minute and said, "I got an idea!"

"What is it?"

"You know how people say to cool two people down, put them in a closed space?"

"Yeah."

"Let's do that with Sam and Freddie. They'll probably cool down and stop fighting."

"Good idea, but we can't tell them."

"Yeah."

The two exit Carly's room to see Sam on top of Freddie, holding his arms hostage. He had duct tape over his mouth. He was trying to scream but was unable to because of the tape over his mouth.

"Sam," Carly screamed at Sam, "What happened?"

"He punched me," Sam replied first.

Freddie shook his head from side to side indicating a 'no, I didn't do that' motion.

"Sam, get off of him," Carly pleaded Sam.

"But," Sam stopped when she saw Carly grab a piece of wood out of nowhere. Sam regretted what she was going to do and got off of Freddie and said, "Nevermind."

Carly picked Freddie up and ripped the tape off of his mouth. He yelped a bit while Carly untied his arms.

"Are you okay," Carly asked Freddie in a serious voice.

"No, she duct taped my mouth shut and tied my arms up to not fight back. Then, she sat on me to not escape from her grasp," Freddie explained angrily at Carly.

She looked over at Sam and said, "Sam, you and me, downstairs. Freddie, you and Spencer, iCarly studio."

"But," Freddie and Sam said in unison, but got cut off when Carly interrupted them by saying, "Now."

The two left and went where they were told to go. Spencer went besides Carly and asked, "What about the plan?"

"Hang on, before we do the plan, we need to talk to them separately," Carly responded.

"Alright. Where do I meet with Freddie," he asked his little sister.

Carly rolled her eyes and said, "iCarly Studio."

"Gotcha," Spencer said and ran to the studio.

Carly came downstairs to see Sam eating some giant meatballs on the couch.

"Where'd you get that bucket of meatballs at," Carly asked, confused about the bucket in Sam's lap.

"I ordered it from that meatball place beside Groovy Smoothie," Sam responded.

Carly sat next to Sam and asked, "What has gotten into you and Freddie lately? It seems like you started it up again-"

"I didn't start anything. It was Fredward's fault," Sam interrupted Carly's sentence.

"I didn't say that. I just asked what's going on between you guys. Not who started the fight," Carly repeated herself.

Sam groaned and slid down the couch a bit.

"Groan all you want Sam. You're not getting out of this conversation until you answer all my questions."

Sam groaned even louder and said, "Just end me now! Please!"

"Don't say that! You'll get through this."

"No, I won't! Questions hurt my mind," Sam said as she put her hands on her forehead. Carly rolled her eyes and said, "If we get through my questions, want to go to the Groovy Smoothies and get smoothies for everyone?"

Sam perked up and said, "Ask away!"

Meanwhile with Spencer and Freddie in the iCarly studio, Freddie explained everything to Spencer.

"So then, she tells me that my tech stuff is stupid and should be thrown down a hole," Freddie explains.

"She is a little savage. Continue," Spencer said.

"I tell her that she shouldn't eat lots of food because she could get big and won't live longer with all that greasy food in her stomach. I also told her to eat healthy and then, she gets all defensive and says she does eat healthy food, even though Carly and I never saw her eat something healthy. Have you seen her eat healthy," Freddie asked Spencer.

Spencer thinks for a moment and responds with, "No, I have not."

"See, I'm glad you get me. Well, besides Carly of course, but this isn't about her. It's about Sam," Freddie corrected himself.

"Yes. Anything else," Spencer asked.

"Well, before I go any further, Sam started everything. The fight, the argument, when she tied me up, everything," Freddie replied. Spencer nodded and Freddie continued, "Even when we dated, she started arguing with me. Eventually we broke up at midnight and we were cool about it. I didn't like things that Sam liked, and she didn't like things that I liked. I even got kicked out of my Model Train club because Sam broke the trains and when I went to meet Sam's cousin and uncle in prison, we were forced to leave by the police because," he stopped for a second and mumbled, "I couldn't get the thing out of my pants."

"What did Sam put in your pants," Spencer asked.

"I don't want to talk about it," Freddie said, embarrassed about the incident.

"Okay. Anything else," Spencer asked again.

"No, I think that's it. I told you everything Sam's done to me," Freddie said. He leaned back in the beanbag and got on his Pear Phone.

"Well," Spencer paused and said, "Nevermind. I can't tell you that."

Freddie looked up from his phone and asked, "You can't tell me what?"

"Nothing," Spencer said as he covered his mouth.

"No, no. What were you about to tell me?"

"It's between me and Carly."

"You and Carly, huh," he asked. He thinks for a bit and says, "Does she like me back?"

"What," Spencer asked, confused.

Freddie hid behind his phone and said, "Nothing. Anyways, what did you guys talk about?"

"I can't tell you or Carly's going to get mad at me. She's already got a lot on her plate with you guys arguing and Halloween is tomorrow."

Freddie got up from one of the beanbags and said, "Tell me! I won't tell anyone! I promise on Carly's heart to not tell a soul!"

"I," he stopped and replayed what Freddie said. He responded, "Well, you know how on TV shows or in real life when two people are mad at each other and you want them to cool off, you put the two people in a closed place like an elevator or a room and they would make up, right," Spencer explained.

"Yeah," Freddie asked as he pulled on Spencer's collar.

"Well, me and Carly were thinking of doing it to you and Sam."

Freddie let go of Spencer's collar. He shook his head from side to side, "No, no, no. Sam and I can't be in the same room together. We would practically kill each other. Plus, she's going to start eating me alive and demand more food. You need to cancel the plan."

"I can't and I do agree with Carly on this. You two need to make up before Halloween."

"How? It's nine. We don't have much time. If you lock us up now, we're either staying twelve hours or twenty-four hours in the same room."

Spencer put a finger in front of Freddie's mouth, "Look. Let's not discuss anymore. I don't want Carly to know I told you this."

Freddie moved Spencer's hand and said, "I won't. I swore it on Carly's heart."

"Good. Let's go downstairs and see if Carly talked with Sam."

Back with Sam and Carly, Sam was done answering Carly's questions.

"Thank chiz we’re done. Can we go get smoothies now? I'm thirsty," Sam replied.

"You just drank tea five minutes ago? You can't be thirsty again," Carly argued back.

"Can you just tell the guys to come down," Sam asked Carly.

"You promise not to call Freddie any names from now 'til nine," Carly asked.

"What?!?! I got to go twelve or something hours and not call him names," Sam asked surprised.

"Nope. Either Freddie or Fredward is acceptable."

Sam groans and says, "Fine. I'll try."

"Try?"

Sam rolled her eyes and said, "Okay, I will."

"That's a good Sam," she said as she got off the couch. She went to the stairs and hollered at Freddie and Spencer, "Freddie! Spencer! Come down. We're going to the Groovy Smoothie now," she paused and said, "And bring me a jacket please."

The guys came down, with Spencer holding Carly's jacket. He gave the jacket to her then went to his room and left Carly confused. She asked, "Spence, you coming?"

"Nah. You guys can go," he responded in his room.

"You want me to get you a smoothie?"

"Sure! Give me a blueberry one."

"Okay. We'll be back soon."

The three left Carly's apartment room and went down to the lobby in the elevator. When they got to ground level, they heard Lewbert on the phone with someone, possibly his mother, since he said 'mom' or 'mother' at some point. They left quickly and started cracking up loudly outside Bushwell Plaza. Once at Groovy Smoothies, they ordered their smoothies while a very angry T-Bo took their order. They sat at a table and waited for their smoothies.

"Hey, does anyone notice how upset T-Bo was when he took our order," Carly asked Freddie and Sam.

"Yeah," Sam answered.

"Hopefully, he's okay," Freddie also answered.

T-Bo came over to their table and angrily said, "Enjoy."

He walked away angrily back to the counter. The three looked confused and stayed there for a few seconds.

"Freddie, go see what's wrong with T-Bo," Sam asked.

"Why," Freddie asked, confused about Sam's request.

"Cause you're the only boy here. Now go before I throw a fit!"

Freddie got up and walked over to the counter. T-Bo saw and said, "What do you want, tech boy?"

"Why are you so angry with us? What did we do wrong," Freddie asked.

"It's not you or the girls! It's that professional jerk," T-Bo said.

Sam chuckled and spit what she had in her mouth into her smoothie. Carly looked at Sam with a serious facial expression and quietly shouted, "Sam!"

"What? It's funny," she chuckled again.

T-Bo looked angrily at Sam and looked back at Freddie, "That professional jerk said I had a rat in here, even though I didn't."

"Was it upstairs in your used to be bedroom," Freddie asked.

"No. He went into the kitchen and saw a tail in there and gave me a warning."

"Then, what was it? A cord? Wires," Freddie asked.

"Nope. It was a straw," he picked up the straw and said, "This one to be exact."

Carly then chuckled a bit, along with Sam who was laughing louder than ever. T-Bo looked over again at them with more anger in his face.

"That's kinda stupid," Freddie commented.

"It is. Even before Halloween. It's like there's some curse or something going on," T-Bo suggested.

"Yeah. Me and Sam are fighting like crazy or at least, we were," Freddie mumbled his sentence, but loud enough for T-Bo to hear.

"Why?"

"I don't know. Plus, I just had a terrible day. I got an F on my test, Sam lost her Pear Phone and she blames me, we were arguing almost the whole day. It's just a lot today and why before Halloween," Freddie explains to T-Bo.

"I don't know, but I'm closing up. So, go tell the giggling girls to leave," T-Bo said as he got his bag and put it on the counter.

Freddie walked over to the table and said, "We need to leave, now."

"Why," Carly asked.

"T-Bo's closing up the shop," Freddie answered.

Sam looked over at T-Bo and said, "Dude! You realize you're closing earlier than usual. Do you not see that?"

"Oh, I do. I just want to leave early since it's just the three of you," T-Bo responded.

"But it's just nine-thirty," Carly responded.

"It's only been thirty minutes," Sam asked, surprised by the time.

Carly nodded while T-Bo said, "There isn't anything wrong closing too early," he looked at his watch and said, "You got two minutes to get out of here."

The gang left and went back to Bushwell Plaza to get back to Carly's apartment room. They came in and saw Spencer on the couch, but he wasn't watching TV. He just sat there, staring at the black screen.

"You okay, Spence," Carly asked.

"Yeah," said a monotone Spencer.

"Well, you look like you have a problem," Sam said as she went towards the kitchen.

"I don't. It's just that Chuck cut the TV and we can't watch TV anymore," Spencer explained.

"Why did he do that," Freddie asked.

"I don't know. He probably wanted revenge because I sent him to that military camp."

"Man, today's just not my day," Freddie replied and went to sit on the couch.

"Same here, Fredward! I lost my Pear Phone for good and it's your fault-"

"Sam," Carly interrupted and Sam changed her sentence.

"I mean I lost my Pear Phone," Sam corrected herself.

"Your phone? It's on the counter," Spencer replied.

Sam checked the counter and found it. She was so relieved that she cuddled with it and said, "Oh thank chiz you're okay. Mama was worried about you," she looked up at Spencer and said, " Where was it?"

"Your Pear Phone? It was randomly in my room," Spencer said.

"You room? Ew," Sam responded.

"I know it's weird," he looked at Sam and asked, "Did you go into my room?"

"No, I will never go into your room," Sam replied.

"Good," Spencer said, "Cause there's some things that you don't need to see."

"Good," Sam mocked Spencer.

"Alright kiddos, time for bed," he pointed at Sam and Freddie, "You guys, go home. Carly, upstairs. Let's go!"

"But I'm not tired," Carly said.

"Go or you won't get any Halloween treats tomorrow," Spencer said.

He looked at Sam and Freddie and said, "If you're not out of here in two minutes, no Halloween candy tomorrow."

"Can I spend the night," Sam asked.

"Why," Spencer asked.

"My mom has a new boyfriend over and I don't like them being together," Sam explained.

"Fine. You can sleep on the couch."

"Yes," she said excitedly and ran over to the couch, "Move over Freddork, this is Mama's couch."

Sam pushed Freddie off the couch, resulting in a scream and falling on his face. She positioned herself and looked on her phone at something.

"Ow," Freddie said as he got off the floor, "You could've said 'please'."

"Well, where I come from, pushing people off couches is fine and we don't say 'please' either," Sam spat back.

Freddie ran over to Spencer and asked, "Can I spend the night here too?"

"Why," Spencer asked.

"Uh, I don't like what my mom feeds me in the morning," Freddie said, making an excuse.

"What does your mom feed you," Spencer asked.

"Uh, broccoli?"

Spencer thinks and responds, "Sure, but aren't you worried that your mom's going to come in and snatch you back to your apartment?"

"Nah, I can handle it."

"Okay, you can sleep on that black chair. Grab a pillow and-" Spencer saw that Sam took all the pillows to sleep on, so he said, "You know what? I'll get you a pillow from my room, but return to me in the morning, okay?"

"Okay."

"Good," Spencer went into his room and grabbed a pillow, "Here."

"Thanks."

Freddie went to the black chair and slept all night. Strangely enough, his mother didn't come and grabbed him in the middle of the night.

Chapter 2

Notes:

Chapter 2 has finally arrived! I hope everyone had an okay or good day yesterday. It was Friday the 13th, so hopefully your day wasn't terrible, and now it's Saturday the 14th.

With that out of the way, let's head into Chapter 2 now.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

In the morning, around eight-fifty, Carly came downstairs to see Sam and Freddie sleeping in her living room. She looked confused and asked quietly, "Why?"

She got an air horn on a little table and pushed the button to make an ear-piercing sound. Sam woke up, startled by the ear-piercing sound. Freddie didn't hear it for some reason and randomly has earmuffs over his ears.

"What the chiz, man," Sam asked, angry about the awakening she got.

"Did you sleep here all night," Carly asked.

"Yeah," Sam said to Carly. She looked over and said, "Looks like Benson did too."

"I see that," Carly said to Sam, angrily, "And why does he have earmuffs on?"

"He probably sleeps with them to get his beauty sleep," Sam said as she chuckled a bit.

Carly went over to Freddie and gently removed his earmuffs. Sam went over to his ear and screamed, "GET UP BENSON!!!!"

Freddie yelped and fell out of the chair, hitting his head on the wooden floor, "Ow!"

He looked up and said, "What was that for?"

"What the chiz were you doing here, sleeping on Carly's black chair," Sam yelled at Freddie.

"Oh, just felt like it," Freddie responded sweetly as he got up and brushed himself off.

"You felt like it," Sam argued back.

"Yeah! You got a problem," Freddie said with a smirk and crossed arms.

Sam was about to say something and step back and said, "Nevermind. I'm going to get breakfast."

Sam went into the kitchen and grabbed some bacon. Carly gave Freddie his earmuffs and asked, "Are these yours?"

Freddie looked shocked and embarrassed. He quickly grabbed them and said, "Yes."

"Why do you wear earmuffs when you're sleeping," Carly asked.

"Uh… I fell asleep with them on," Freddie said, making an excuse to Carly.

"Okay. Do you want to eat breakfast here or at your place?"

"I probably eat here, but I'll be back," Freddie said as he went to Carly's door and opened it.

Carly went into the kitchen to fix breakfast for herself. Spencer came out of his room and said, "Hey, I heard screaming. Is everything okay, kiddo?"

"Yeah, everything's okay Spence," Carly responded.

Spencer took a sigh of relief and said, "Thank chiz. Oh, just a reminder, Freddie and Sam spent the night."

"I saw," Carly replied to Spencer.

"Yeah, Sam said that her mom had a boy over and Freddie said something about his mom making him a terrible breakfast."

"Really? What does he eat for breakfast?"

"Broccoli or some healthy food. I don't remember."

"She is so overprotective on Fredward," Sam chimed in, "She needs to chillax."

"Yeah, she does," Carly said.

"I thought you like Mrs. Benson," Spencer asked the girls.

"She's okay except the time she hit me with Freddie's underwear because I kissed him."

"Why out of everything would she hit you with his underwear," Spencer asked, chuckling to himself.

"I don't know. I guess it was the closest thing she could grab," Carly stated.

"Yeah, and I just don't like her," Sam said.

"Don't like who," Freddie asked, coming into Carly's apartment.

"Ms. Briggs," Sam lied to Freddie.

"Haven't you guys already complained about her already with her big pointy bosom by saying she stuffs waffle cones in her bra," Freddie asked.

"Yep, but I just love complaining about stuff I hate," Sam said.

"That's you alright," he said to Sam, "So, what's for breakfast?"

"Bacon and eggs. Ya want some," Carly asked.

"Sure! My mom never lets me eat greasy food," Freddie said, grabbing a piece of bacon and eating it.

"Why," Spencer asked.

"Because she thinks if I eat greasy foods, I'm going to get big and would instantly make me go to a gym," Freddie explains.

Sam laughs out loud and spits out a piece of bacon. Freddie looked confused at her and asked, "¿Qué?"

"Why would your mom say something like that? Greasy food doesn't make you fat," Sam said.

"Because that's her and I love her," Freddie spat back. Sam looked blankly at Freddie, and he responded, "Sometimes."

They sat at the table and ate their breakfast. Carly asked, "Any ideas for our Halloween web show?"

"Eh, I don't feel like doing it," Sam said, eating a piece of bacon.

"Why," Carly asked.

"I mean, remember when we did one on a supposed haunted apartment and people actually lived there? Then, Lewbert pranked us and ran back down to the lobby," Sam explained.

"Yeah," Carly responded as she ate a piece of her egg.

"And Fredwitch dressed like a witch," Sam chuckled at the memory.

"Um, I don't know if you remember, but my mom forced me to wear it because she made it just for me," Freddie explained.

"Nu-uh," Sam said, shaking her head side-to-side, "I also want to know what she's gonna force you in next."

"I don't know. She isn't showing me until this evening," Freddie replied.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she dresses you like a dork this year," said Sam, eating a piece of bacon.

Freddie rolled his eyes and argued with Sam again. They argued for a few seconds 'til Carly got a spray bottle and squirted them with water 'til they stopped.

"Gah," Freddie said, covering himself not to get too wet.

"What the chiz was that for," Sam asked, "You did that yesterday evening."

"Do I have to go over it again," Carly asked Sam and Freddie.

"No ma'am," Freddie said as he drank a glass of orange juice.

"What with all this 'ma'am' and 'sir' chiz lately? You've been saying it and it hurts my head," Sam complained to Freddie.

Carly sprayed Sam with the spray bottle. She covered herself and said, "It was worth it, Carls."

"Hey, anyone dressing up today," Spencer asked the three.

"I'll probably be sushi again," Carly replied.

"I probably might not dress up or I'll be hand sanitizer again," Sam replied.

"I'm being whatever my mom has," Freddie said.

"Cool," Spencer said.

"What about you," Freddie asked.

"Yeah, what's Spence gonna be," Sam asked sarcastically.

"Nothing. I'm a grown man and grown men don't dress up on Halloween," Spencer responded.

"Since when," asked Carly.

"Since never," Spencer said in a soft voice.

"Why not an artist? Y'know, since you make sculptors and stuff," Sam suggested.

"Yeah, that could be a cool idea," Carly agreed.

"I like that too," Freddie said to Spencer. He then looks over at Sam with an angry expression, "even if I hate you."

"Yeah, I hate you too Freddio," Sam responded.

"But wouldn't I just be myself and wear my clothes," Spencer asked.

"Yeah," Carly said.

"Nice and I don't have to make anything. All I need is my clothes, an apron, some sculpting tools and even some paint splashes on it," Spencer explained his costume.

"Yep," said Sam in a sarcastic tone.

Freddie got up from the table and said, "Welp, that was a great breakfast, but I gotta get home before my mom puts posters up and searches for him. Thanks for breakfast Carly."

"No problem," Carly said to Freddie, "See ya soon."

"See ya," Freddie said, unlocking Carly's door and going into his apartment.

Spencer got up and said, "Welp. I better get some candy or else those brat children are going to push me in a lake. See ya kiddos."

"Bye Spence," Carly and Sam said in unison.

Spencer left and the girls sat at the table. Sam spoke first, "Carls, you ever wonder why Freddork didn't show us the views yesterday?"

"Yeah, he said something that he couldn't say the three numbers together," Carly responded.

"I found the view count from yesterday. Ya wanna see," Sam asked.

"Yes," Carly said Sam took out her Pear Phone and went to the iCarly website. She went to the views for yesterday and showed Carly, "See? What's so bad about three sixes?"

"Sam, you do realize that's the devil's number, correct," Carly asked her best friend.

"Yeah, why?"

"I was just checking it all."

A few minutes later and there was loud, pounding on Carly's door. She looked confused and replied, "Come in."

The door opens quickly and reveals Freddie. He shut the door quickly and put his back against the door. He had a shocked expression and looked paler than ever. He was even breathing heavily. He quietly left the door and went over to the computer. The girls looked confused at their tech producer and went over to him.

"Hey, you okay," Carly asked.

"Yeah, you look really paler than usual," Sam commented.

"I don't wanna talk about it," Freddie said in a whisper voice.

"Why? What happened over at your apartment," Carly asked.

"Does this have anything to do with your costume, Benson," Sam added.

Freddie nodded as he typed on the computer.

"Can we see," Carly asked.

"No, it's silly and I know you'll laugh when I have it on, just like my witch costume," Freddie responded.

"Come on, you look kinda cute in your witch costume," Carly stated to Freddie.

"You're just saying that to make me feel better," Freddie commented back.

"Eh, I gotta say, you looked like a dorky witch," Sam interrupted.

There was more banging on Carly's door. Carly walked over to her door, but Freddie got in front of her, "Don't answer it! It's my mom!"

"Why," asked Carly.

"Tell her I'm not here," Freddie convinced Carly.

"Why? What's going to happen," Sam chimed in.

"She's going to force me to wear it," Freddie said. He then looked at Carly, "Can I hide in your room?"

"Fine," Carly said.

Freddie ran up the stairs and went into Carly's bedroom. Carly went up to the door and opened it, revealing an angry Mrs. Benson. Carly looked confused and asked, "Can I help you?"

"Did Freddie come here," Mrs. Benson asked, looking straight in Carly's eyes.

"Uh, yeah-"

"But he just left with Spencer to get Halloween candy. You can try and catch them, but I don't know," Sam chimed in and lied about where Freddie was.

"Well, I came over to give him his costume so I can see how it fits. Do you know when they'll be back, by any chance," Mrs. Benson asked the girls.

"No. It could take minutes or even hours, but you can give us Freddie's costume and we'll tell you how it fits on him. Got a deal," Sam said to Freddie's mom.

"Okay, but it's a lot," Mrs. Benson replied to the girls.

"Mama's out," Sam said as she walked away from the door and upstairs.

"I'll get it for him," Carly responded.

"Great. Give me a minute and twenty seconds to get his costume," Mrs. Benson said as she left Carly's door and went into her apartment. She grabbed everything for Freddie's costume and carefully gave it to Carly, "Now, be careful with his costume. It's brand new and should never touch the floor."

"Why," Carly asked.

"Because it will get dirty and I don't want my Freddie to be dirty for Halloween," Mrs. Benson argued back.

"But my floors aren't dirty. I cleaned them two days ago," Carly replied to Mrs. Benson.

"Yeah, but dust could sneak in and lay on your floor without you knowing," Mrs. Benson commented back on Carly's floor.

Carly looked confused and said, "Okay. See ya Mrs. Benson."

"Oh, and make sure you take a picture of Freddie in his costume when he's in it," Mrs. Benson said to Carly.

"We will," Carly said and closed the door on Mrs. Benson. Sam came downstairs with Freddie, pulling him down Carly's stairs with his arm.

"Whatcha got, Carls," Sam asked Carly.

"Oh, it's Freddie's Halloween costume," she responded.

Freddie got off the floor and brushed himself off. He looked over Sam's shoulder and said, "Wow! She got it done fast. I'll take it off your hands-"

"Hang on, before you go, she told me to never let the costume touch the ground and take a picture of you with it on," Carly interrupted Freddie's sentence.

Freddie rolled his eyes and said, "I told you, my mom is so overprotective that she doesn't let no one let clothes drop to the floor-"

"Because dust can sneak in without you knowing. Yeah, she told me that too," Carly interrupted Freddie again.

"Yeah," Freddie said as he walked up the stairs and into a bathroom to change his costume.

It was around eleven-fifty in the morning and Freddie still hasn't come down to show Carly and Sam his costume. Spencer got home with ten bags of candy and decorated the place. Carly helped too, but Sam just stared at the computer screen, looking up stuff.

"Hey look, Halloween's on a Saturday," Sam said to Spencer and Carly.

"Yeah, so," asked a confused Carly.

Sam looked over to them and said, "It's Saturween!"

Spencer and Carly looked confused at Sam. She then explains, "It's Saturday and Halloween put together to create Saturween! It comes every seven years! Didn't your parents tell you?"

"No," Carly said.

Spencer just shook his head, still confused on what Sam's talking about. Sam rolled her eyes and said, "Nevermind. Just get back to being Mama's little helpers."

Ten minutes later and it was noon. Freddie still didn't come down and showed the gang his costume. Carly got a little worried and asked, "Has anyone seen Freddie?"

"Nope," Spencer answered.

"He's probably still getting in his Halloween costume," Sam answered.

"Well, it doesn't take almost an hour to put on your costume," Carly snapped.

"I'll go get him," Sam said as she hopped off the chair and went upstairs. She got to the bathroom and knocked on the door. There was a startled scream inside that said, "Carly?"

"No, it's Sam. Carly's downstairs with Spencer, decorating the apartment," Sam replied, "Get out of this bathroom, Benson! Carly's worried about you."

"No! I look silly," Freddie said.

"C'mon. Your whole family is silly," Sam shouted back.

"Just give me a few more minutes," Freddie spat at Sam.

"Fine, but you better be out of here in the next three minutes," Sam said walking away.

Sam walked down the stairs and saw the whole apartment decorated. She then saw Carly and Spencer on the couch. She joins them and says, "Welp, I tried."

"He still didn't come after everything you tried," Carly asked.

"Nope. Whatcha watching," Sam asked.

"We're on the Spooky Channel," Spencer said.

"Why," Sam asked.

"Because Socko told me it's scary but also funny in a way," Spencer replied back.

The TV flashed and went to the news channel. On it, there was a guy named Harold Shortman that spoke loud and clear, "We interrupt your regular schedule program to bring you this message! Please do NOT watch the Spooky Channel or any other channels that relate to this story today! We just got news that it can curse people without even knowing! And it's worse on Halloween! Cassidy, can you tell us the causes?"

"Sure thing Harold! Cassidy Jane's here with the side effects. Side effects may include cussing, nausea, exploding diarrhea, loss of movement, crawling on walls, running like a maniac, slipping, falling, vomiting, excessive eating, bleeding, sneezing, and embarrassing accidents."

The three giggled at the last cause.

"Back to you Harold," Cassidy said with a smile.

"Thanks Cassidy," he said with a smile, "Now, please enjoy your regular schedule program."

The TV went back to the Spooky Channel and the three just stared at it.

"Ugh, I never believe those things they say on the news," Sam said.

"Yeah, we never did either," Carly replied to Sam.

"Yeah, but I need to call Socko real quick," he said as he left the couch and went to his room.

"I'm going to check on Freddie," Carly said as she left the couch and went upstairs. When she got to the bathroom door, she knocked softly.

He felt a little scared and asked, "Who is it?"

"Carly," she replied.

"Thank goodness," he said as he opened the door and came out. Carly looked a little disappointed and asked, "Where's your costume at?"

"Oh, I didn't feel like putting it on now since it's lunch," Freddie responded.

"Oh, okay," she said as she walked away from the bathroom.

Freddie caught up to her and said, "What's wrong? You seem disappointed in something. Is everything okay?"

"Nothing. Let's just go downstairs," Carly said.

"Fine by me," Freddie said, following behind Carly.

They came downstairs together and sat on the couch. Sam looked over and said, "Hey, dorky's here!"

"Sam," Carly said, rolling her eyes.

"Yep, and it seems like Ms. Eats-a-Lot is here too," Freddie replied back.

"Freddie," Carly said sweetly to him.

"Eh, don't worry Carls. We have fought like this ever since we met," Sam responded to Carly.

"Yeah, we're used to it," Freddie said as he looked at Carly.

"Well, shouldn't you two be nice since it's Saturween," Carly asked.

"Eh," she looked at Freddie and asked, "Wanna be nice to me?"

Freddie thinks for a bit and says, "I could, but I know you're going to pull some trick on me so, no."

"See Carls? We're gonna be fighting anytime we feel like it. It's like our thing," Sam responded to Carly.

"Anyways, who wants food? Spencer made some already for us," Carly asked the two.

"Spencer made something and didn't set the kitchen on fire or left his Pear Phone in a turkey," Sam asked as if it was too good to be true.

"Yeah, surprisingly," Carly nodded her head.

"Mama's staying," Sam said as she walked over to the kitchen. Carly got up and asked Freddie, "You gonna eat something here?"

"Can't. My mom texted me to come home now. I'll see ya in a bit," Freddie said, heading to Carly's door.

"Since when does your mom use her phone? Doesn't she usually barge in and says, 'Freddie, my child, come over now for dinner! The food's getting cold!'," said Sam, doing an impression of Freddie's mom's voice.

"I don't know and goodbye," Freddie said, closing Carly's door and going into the apartment across from Carly's.

"Well kiddo, it's just us. No Freddie. No Spencer. Just you and me," Sam said to Carly.

"Spencer here," Spencer said, coming out of his bedroom. He ran over to them and asked the girls, "Where's Freddie?"

"His mom texted him to go home now," Carly answered.

"That doesn't sound like the Mrs. Benson I know. I thought she just barges in here and tells Freddie to get home now," Spencer responded.

"Well, I like the new Mrs. Benson. At least I don't have to see her ugly face ever again," Sam commented.

"Well, Freddie's gonna miss out on lunch," Spencer said.

The girls looked confused, and Carly asked, "Why?"

"Because, we're going to get pizza," Spencer excitedly said to the girls.

"Pizza? That's great," Sam excitedly said to Spencer.

"Wait? Then what's that," Carly asked as she pointed to the leftover food on the counter.

"Oh that. That's not for eating. It's a sculpture of food I decided to make," Spencer said, pointing to the sculptured food.

"Oh, okay," Carly said, "Let's go!"

The three walked to the door and left to go get some pizza. A few minutes after Carly, Sam and Spencer, Freddie walked out of his apartment and knocked on Carly's door. He waited a bit, but no response. He felt confused and knocked again, this time louder. Still no response.

"Carly? Are you pranking me," he yelled through her door.

He opened her door and looked inside. He called her name once again, "Carly!"

He thinks and says, "She must've gone somewhere with Sam."

He went to Spencer's room and saw that he was gone too, "He must've gone with them because he is always here."

He decided to go upstairs to the iCarly studio and tweak some things on the audio.

"Okay Test number uno," he says and pushes a button and starts the recording, "Testing, testing. One, two, three. Beautiful audio."

He thinks of something to say and says in a deep, manly voice, "I love ya Carly. Love ya like really in looooove."

He says a few more quirky lines and makes sure the audio works great. He replays them and listens to them, making sure it sounds clear. He then deletes them, hoping the girls or Gibby won't listen to them. He hears the elevator coming up to the iCarly Studio. It opens and reveals Gibby.

"GIBBEH," he says his catchphrase and exits the elevator.

"Hey Gibby," Freddie said, "Whatcha doing here?"

"Carly texted me to come over," Gibby answered.

"For what," Freddie said, giving Gibby a confused look.

"For lunch," Gibby answers again.

"Lunch? She would've texted me to come help her," Freddie said, typing something on his laptop.

"She probably thought you were busy with your mom, so she texted me," Gibby suggested.

"Eh, whatever. You can go downstairs and wait for them. I'll be there in a few minutes," Freddie said to Gibby.

"Okay. See ya," he said, getting back into the elevator and pushing the button to go down one floor.

Freddie then ran down the stairs to catch up with Gibby. He saw him on the couch, watching TV. Freddie asked, "Hang on, how'd you get in here?"

Gibby looked up and said, "Oh, front lobby's elevator. Why?"

"Her door was unlocked," Freddie spat out to Gibby.

"Yeah, I know. I just don't come through their lots of time. Gibby comes wherever Gibby comes from," Gibby explains to Freddie.

Just then, Carly, Spencer and Sam came in with boxes of pizza.

"Hey guys," Carly said, opening the door, "We got pizza!"

"Cool," Freddie said in a monotone voice.

"Don't say it like that Fredweird. Get excited," Sam said, walking over to Freddie.

"No, cause I know you're going to eat a box of pizza in 1 minute," Freddie argued at Sam.

Sam looked over in disgust at Freddie and rolled her eyes. She then said, "Whatever," and walked away from him.

Carly and Spencer went to put the pizza boxes down. Gibby, Sam and Freddie went over to Carly and Spencer.

"Alright, get whatever you want to eat and let's go watch a horror movie," Spencer said to everyone. The gang cheered and grabbed their pizza they wanted. Everyone, except Freddie, sat on the couch. Freddie scooted the black chair towards the couch to watch the movie.

"So, what movie are we watching," Spencer asked.

"Ooh, let's watch something on the spooky channel," Sam suggested.

"Spooktacular choice, Sam," Spencer said as he pushed in the numbers to the spooky channel, which were 3666.

"Hang on. I disagree," Gibby called out.

"Why," Carly asked.

"Didn't you hear what they said on the news? It's haunted and crazy chiz could happen to all of us. Especially on Halloween," Gibby explains to the gang.

"Eh, half of that news is just made up chiz to get people to not do it, but they don't listen. Plus, we've been watching it the whole day, and nothing happened to me, Carly, Freddork or Spence at all," Sam explains to Gibby, "So why don't you shush and watch the movie."

"Okay, just say I didn't warn y'all," Gibby said, laying back onto the couch.

"What movie are we watching on the spooky channel," Freddie asked Spencer.

"Something called, 'The Hanging Man'," Spencer answered.

"Ooh, I heard of that movie, but I was never allowed to watch it," Freddie said to the gang.

"Why," Carly asked.

"Because my mom said it was too gory and I would get nightmares for weeks," Freddie explains.

"Yeah, I figured," Sam chimed in.

The movie starts and the gangs start eating or drinking. During the movie, sometimes they'll jump, sometimes they'll have a scared face on and sometimes they'll laugh. It just depends on the scene. However, Gibby had an excited facial expression and laughed at everything. Sometimes Sam would too, but if she thought the scene went a little too far, she'd get scared a bit.

Spencer grabbed the remote and said, "Okay, maybe this movie went a little too far on their scenes. Who wants to watch Full House?"

"I," said everyone except Gibby. Everyone looked at Gibby, who was laughing at the scene when the killer chopped a girl named Roxy into pieces and served her to her friends without them knowing. He stopped laughing and looked to his left and right. He then said, "What?"

"How do you enjoy this stuff," Carly screamed in horror.

"I don't know. I guess it started when Spencer had his babysitter/girlfriend over," Gibby said to the gang.

"You're one messed up kid, Gibbs," Sam said to Gibby.

"Yeah," Gibby said to Sam.

Spencer was trying to change the channel, but the remote wouldn't respond to him changing the channel.

"C'mon remote. Change," Spencer grunted while pushing the buttons, but nothing responded.

"Spencer, change the channel," Carly demanded her older brother to change the channel.

"I'm trying! Can't you see me pushing the buttons on the remote," Spencer said, angrily at Carly.

Suddenly, the power goes out and the gang gets surprised.

Chapter Text

"Spencer, did you forget to pay the power bill," Freddie asked.

"No, I made sure I did it by writing on one of my sculptures," Spencer replied to Freddie.

"Maybe we're not the only ones that lost power. Fredward, check outside and see if the lights are on," Sam said to Freddie.

"Fine," Freddie said, walking to the door as best as he could. He felt the door handle and opened it. He opened the door and saw lights outside the apartment, "Seems like everyone else is okay. We must've got lucky."

"See? We got cursed!!! We should've just watched Full House and none of this would've happened," Gibby said to the gang.

"Nah, curses aren't real Gib. They're just lies that your parents tell you and make you believe them when you're younger," Sam responded to Gibby.

"What's the time," Carly asked.

"Uh, four-thirty. Why," Spencer responded to Carly.

"We've spent three hours watching a graphic horror movie," Sam commented.

"Yeah, we started at twelve-thirty," Freddie stated the time they started the movie.

"Then why is it so dark outside? Is it gonna rain," Sam questioned as she looked out the windows behind them.

"No, I checked when you and Spencer left. It wasn't going to rain today," Carly stated.

"But what about when we got back," Sam asked.

"No, but I'll check," Carly said as she pulled out her Pear Phone and went to the weather app. They stated that it was going to rain for the rest of the day, "Welp. I guess it is gonna rain and get super dark."

"But that still doesn't explain why our power went out," Freddie stated to everyone.

"Let's just assume Spencer forgot to pay the power bill. Spence, how much ya pay," Sam asked Spencer.

"Uh, usually one twenty a month," Spencer replied.

"Okay. We just need to go down to the lobby, ask Lewbert to tell us if Spencer paid and we can watch Full House. Easy," Sam explained the plan.

"Let's go," Spencer said.

The rest followed behind Spencer. When they got to the lobby, they saw Lewbert on the phone with someone again. He was yelling at the person on the other end. He eventually hung up and went back to write something down. The gang went up to him and Lewbert didn't see them.

Sam yelled, "Hey Wartface!"

Lewbert fell down on the ground and screamed. He grabbed the desk to pull him up and screamed, "Whaaaaaaaaat?"

"The power in 8C went out. Could you check and see if Spencer paid the power bill," Freddie asked.

Lewbert got up and said, "Give me a minute."

Lewbert unlocked the door and went inside. He then locked the door and didn't come out. The gang stood there and looked at the door.

"He's not coming back, is he," Carly asked.

"Nope. He locked himself in that room," Gibby said.

Carly rolled her eyes and said, "Sam."

"Mama's on it," Sam said as she went behind the desk and went to the door. She pulled out a hairpin from her pants pocket and started picking the lock. She opens it and says, "Mama's done it."

The gang cheers and runs in, except Freddie. He stood in shock of how fast Sam picked the lock. Sam looked over and asked, "What tech boy?"

"That was fast. Faster than any of your other lock picks. That was like one whole second. How," Freddie asked, amazed.

"Eh, been doing it for a while. Now get in here Freddork," she said, pushing Freddie in the room with Spencer, Gibby, Carly and Lewbert. The three were trying to talk to Lewbert, but he just kept yelling at them, telling them to get lost. Once Sam had enough of his yelling, she pulled out an air horn and said to Freddie, "Cover your ears, Fredward."

He did as he was told and covered his ears. She let the air horn's loud sound fill the whole room and stopped when everyone covered their ears.

"Thank chiz. Now, why is Spencer's power out," Sam asked Lewbert, who was on the floor in a ball.

"Spencer's power isn't out. He played the bill," Lewbert spat at Sam.

"Oh yeah, then why can't we turn on lights, the TV, or anything on in 8C," Sam spat back at Lewbert.

"Probably just a malfunction. Now get out," Lewbert screamed at the top of his lungs.

"No, I ain't getting out without an explanation," Sam angrily said to the doorman.

"Yeah, me neither," Freddie chimed in with his arms crossed.

Sam looked over at Freddie and asked, "Since when do you agree with me, dorky?"

"I don't know. I thought you could use some back up," Freddie nervously said while looking another way.

"Well, I guess thanks, but Mama doesn't need back up. Now, stop looking at me like that, you're making me feel weird things," Sam said to Freddie.

"Sorry," Freddie said.

Lewbert yelled once more at them, "Get out!!!"

He got a broom out and started "sweeping" everyone out the room. When everyone was out, he locked the door and stayed in the room for the rest of the day. He even made sure to put a chair and other heavy things for Sam not to break in, even though she could probably still get in.

The gang went in the elevator and went to the 8th floor of the apartment. While there, Spencer asked, "Hey, where's Gibby?"

"Wasn't he with you and Carly while you two were arguing with Lewbert," Freddie asked.

"Yeah, but he's not here anymore," Spencer said.

"Let me call him and see where he went," Carly said as she took her phone and found Gibby in her contacts. It rings for a bit, but then goes to voicemail, "Hello, this is Gibby Gibson! Sorry I can't make it to your call on time. I'm either out with my family or Sam's beating me up or using me for something. Leave a message after the word 'GIBBEH!'," the voicemail said.

"That kid's got a weird voicemail," Sam replied.

"He does," Carly said, nodding in agreement with Sam.

The loud, 'GIBBEH' played, and Carly replied to the voicemail, "Hey Gibby, It's Carly. Where did you go? Spencer just noticed you were gone. Hope you're okay. Call me or any of us back when you get this voicemail. Thanks," and she stopped her voicemail.

The elevator opens, but not on their floor. Instead on the fifth floor.

"Is this our stop," Sam asked.

"No, the stupid elevator stopped on the fifth floor," Carly angrily said.

"Okay, this is fine. We just need to take the elevator to the 8th floor, and we'll be all good," Spencer said as he pushed the elevator for it to come to the 5th floor. The elevator ascended to the fifth floor and the four went inside. Carly pushed for the 8th floor, but the elevator descended to the third floor and let them off.

The gang got out and looked at what number they were on.

"We're on the third floor now? How'd we get here," Freddie asked.

"I don't know. I made sure I pressed for the 8th floor. This is some crazy chiz," Carly said.

"Okay everyone, let's just take the stairs. The elevator probably messed up," Spencer said as he led the three to the stairs.

"We have to climb all those stairs to get to 8C," Sam asked, bewildered at the number of stairs she had to climb.

"C'mon. You climb the stairs when we're at school," Carly responded to Sam.

Sam grunted and said, "Yeah, but they're like what? Five steps a stair," Sam replied.

"Yeah. You'll be fine," Carly replied to Sam.

Sam groaned and said, "Can't we try the elevator one last time? Maybe we'll get closer to 8C."

"Fine. Let's go," Carly said. The three followed behind her and Spencer pushed for the 8th floor. The elevator ascended to the 8th floor, and they got off. Sam sighed in relief and said, "Thank chiz. Mama's home!!"

"Alright," Spencer points at Freddie and Sam, "You two, go home and put on your costumes and meet us here," Spencer said.

"Gotcha," Sam said, running to the elevator and going to her floor.

"Got it," Freddie said, unlocking his door, right across from Carly and Spencer's apartment.

"And what do we do," Carly asked quietly.

"We're going into our apartment and putting on our costumes," Spencer quietly answered.

Freddie came out of his apartment and said, "Uh, I left my costume in the bathroom upstairs. Can I get it?"

"Sure," Carly said to Freddie.

Freddie went in first and saw Gibby on Carly and Spencer's couch. He was shocked and whispered to Carly and Spencer, "Uh, Gibby's on your couch."

"What," Carly asked.

"Why," Spencer asked.

"I don't know, but I need to get my costume soon," Freddie said as he rushed upstairs to get his costume.

Carly went over to the couch and yelled, "GIBBY!!!!"

Gibby woke up and fell off the couch while saying, "Gibby's up!"

"Gibby, what are you doing," asked Carly.

"Yeah, and why are you on my couch," Spencer asked.

"Oh, I don't know? I got knocked out and placed here," Gibby explains.

Carly sat next to him on the couch and put a hand on his shoulder. She asked, "Who knocked you out?"

"I don't know. They were wearing a black raincoat, black pants and black shoes," Gibby explains the person's appearance.

"So, you didn't see if it was female or male," Spencer asked Gibby.

"Nah. It was wearing some weird white mask over their face so I couldn't tell," Gibby answered Spencer.

Freddie came down, empty handed, and asked, "Anyone seen my costume? I can't find it upstairs."

"Did you check every room," Spencer asked.

"I left it upstairs and I know it," Freddie answered, "How's Gibby?"

"He's okay. He just got knocked out by some mysterious person," Spencer responded.

"Woah, woah, woah, what? What happened," Freddie said as he had a shocked expression on his face.

"Gibby got knocked out by some random person in a black outfit and a white mask and the person probably dragged him into our apartment, thinking that he lives here," she looked to the side, "which he doesn't."

"Gibby, why don't you go home and put on your costume," Freddie suggested as he led Gibby to the door.

"Yeah, you're probably right, Fredster. See ya," Gibby said, exiting the apartment.

Freddie leaned against the door and slid down to the floor, "Thank gosh," he mumbled under his breath.

Carly walked over to him and asked, "What's wrong, Fredster?"

"Nothing Carls. It's just," he paused for a second and said, "I'll be back."

He got up and opened Carly's door and went into his apartment. Spencer went over and said, "Don't worry kiddo! Freddie's gonna be okay. Now, go upstairs and put on your adorable little costume."

"Okay," Carly shyly said and walked up the stairs to get to her bedroom. Spencer went to his room and put on his costume.

Chapter Text

Ten minutes later, Spencer comes out, wearing a lab coat with goggles and black shoes, gloves and pants. He dressed up his bottle bot as Frankenstein, implying that Spencer was its creator. He heard a knock on the door and said, "It's open!"

The door opens, revealing Sam in a black and white striped shirt, a jean jacket, jeans and black shoes. She had a little bottle of lotion on her head that was held up by a dark pink hat, implying that she just dressed up as lotion.

"Hey Spence. Nice costume," Sam said.

"Thanks," he looks at her and asks, "What are you supposed to be?"

"I'm lotion. I got inspired by my hand sanitizer cosplay and I decided to do a lotion cosplay. Who are you supposed to be," Sam replied to Spencer.

Spencer ran over to his bottle bot and said, "I am the creator of Frankenstein!"

"Nice. Where's Carls," Sam asked, uninterested in Spencer's cosplay.

"She's getting her costume on now so, just sit anywhere you feel like," Spencer said as he went into his room to get something.

Sam sat on the couch and pulled out a bucket of chicken she ordered a few hours ago and placed it on her lap. She opened the lid and smelt the amazing scent of chicken breast, thighs and wings.

"Mmm. Mama's gonna enjoy this chicken," she said as she picked up a breast and started eating it. She moans as she eats her chicken and says, "Oh, Mama's in chicken heaven."

There was a knock at the door and Sam answered, "It's open Freddork!"

Freddie came in wearing a black shirt, black jacket, black pants and black shoes. He styled his hair to stick up and had fangs on his teeth.

"Hola muchacha," he said in a deep voice and stared directly at Sam.

Sam looked over and said, "Who are you?"

"I'm a vampire. See my fangs," he said to Sam. He hissed for Sam to see his fangs on his teeth. Sam walked over and eyed his costume, looking up and down.

"I have to say, your mom did a good job on your costume," Sam said.

"Are you being sarcastic, or you really like it," Freddie asked, making sure he was correct.

"First option dorky. You know it," Sam replied.

"I knew you'd say something like that," Freddie said to Sam, "So, where's Carly and Spencer?"

"Spence's in his room and Carly's still getting dressed," Sam answered.

"Cool," he said and walked over to the computer. Sam looked over and asked, "Whatcha looking up Fredweird?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to sit away from you is all," Freddie said, pulling out his fangs and coloring the tips of the fangs red to give the appeal that he bit someone already. He stuck them back in his teeth and turned around.

"You know what's weird Sam," he asked.

"What," Sam asked with a mouth full of chicken.

"The power must be back on because it wasn't this bright when we left to go to the lobby," Freddie explained to Sam.

Sam said something with her mouth full and Freddie couldn't understand. He asked, "I'm sorry. Whatcha say?"

Sam gave Freddie a confused look and said, "Huh?"

Freddie took a deep breath and said, "Look. I don't want this to happen again like when we dated and went to Peenie's for our first date, but I think you should wait to speak when all of the food is gone from your mouth and goes into your stomach."

Sam rolled her eyes and got her bucket of chicken. She went to the kitchen and ate there. Freddie turned his seat around and said, "I still see you."

Sam ran over to the couch and had a tantrum, screaming and kicking her feet and arms in the air. Spencer came out and asked, "What happened?"

"Sam's having another tantrum," Freddie responded.

"Why? Did we run out of bacon," Spencer asked.

"No. She's mad because I told her not to eat with her mouth full, but she didn't listen," Freddie explains to Spencer.

"Oh, okay. Nice costume by the way," Spencer complemented Freddie's costume.

"Thanks," Freddie said excitedly, "I'm a vampire," he said in a deep voice and hissed at Spencer.

"Nice so that was your costume that your mom made," Spencer asked.

"Yeah, but..." Freddie paused and walked over to Spencer. He asked quietly, "Do you think Carly would like my costume?"

"C'mon. Of course, she will. She liked your witch costume and Lewbert costume. I'm sure she'll like your vampire costume," Spencer replied quietly to Freddie.

"Okay, thanks Spence," Freddie said.

"You're welcome," Spencer replied.

Sam stopped her tantrum and looked over at Freddie and Spencer while saying sarcastically, "Awe, dudes having a secret meeting. So cute!"

Carly came downstairs wearing black cat ears, a black dress, black heels and a cat tail.  She asked, "Whatcha think?"

Sam walked over and said, "Nice kitty costume Carls. Meow!"

"Well, meow to you too, Sam," Carly replied.

Sam chuckles a bit as Freddie says, "Yeah, that is, uh, I mean," he clears his throat and talks in his deep voice, "Yeah, that is a nice kitty cat costume, Carly. So nice and delicious."

Carly felt weirded out by the last sentence Freddie said but gave a thumbs up and a small smile. She looked over at Spencer and said, "I suppose you're a scientist?"

"No," Spencer runs to his bottle bot and says, "I am the creator of Frankenstein!"

"Cool," Carly said as she hopped down the last step of the stairs and into the kitchen, "So, where's Gibby?"

The doorbell rings and Sam says, "Speak of the devil, he's here."

Spencer answered the door and saw Gibby and his younger brother, Guppy, in strange costumes.

"Hey Spence! I had to bring my younger brother over. Is that cool with you," Gibby asked Spencer.

"Oh, uh, yeah, sure. Come on in," Spencer said, still staring at the unusual costumes of Gibby and Guppy.

"Hey guys," Gibby said, walking towards the kitchen of the apartment.

The three looked up and said, "Hey Gibby."

"Happy Birthday," Guppy excitedly said his catchphrase. He walked over to Sam and gave her some flowers on the way to the Shay's apartment.

Sam was shocked and confused by Guppy's present. She took the flowers and said, "Wow, uh, thanks."

Guppy then proceeds to hug Sam, which confuses her even more. She proceeded to hug back, so the situation wasn't awkward. She stops hugging, but Guppy keeps hugging her.

"Okay Guppy, you can stop," Sam said in annoyance, but Guppy didn't stop.

Gibby decided to walk over and pick Guppy off of Sam's waist and put him next to him.

"Sorry about that Sam. I don't know what's been up with him lately," Gibby apologizing.

"Just keep him on a leash," Sam said as she grabbed a chip off a plate and ate it.

"So, who are you two supposed to be," Freddie questioned Gibby and Guppy's costume.

"We're each other," Gibby answered. The three looked confused and Gibby continued, "Let me explain. It was Guppy's idea. He wanted to dress up as me and he told me to dress up as himself so, yeah."

"Well, you both look the same," Sam said as she went to the couch.

"Thanks, and uh," he stopped when he tried figuring out what Sam is for Halloween. Freddie looked over and replied in a deep voice, "She's lotion, if you're wondering."

"Oh, okay. It looks very similar to her hand sanitizer costume," Gibby replied.

"Yeah, she said she got inspired by her hand sanitizer costume and wanted to try a lotion costume," Spencer said, running over to the kitchen. He turned to Carly and asked, "You want any candy afterwards?"

"Sure," Carly said sweetly to her brother.

"Kay," Spencer said as he went into his room and dumped some candy in a bowl in case some kids came by their apartment. Once done, he ran over to Freddie, who was still on the computer, and asked, "Hey, can you give the kids candy this year?"

Freddie looked at Spencer with a confused face and asked, "Why?"

"Cause, remember last time? I gave little kids our food and random objects in this apartment," Spencer answered.

"Fine," Freddie said as he got back on the computer. Spencer ran back into his room and Carly went over to Freddie. She asked, "Whatcha doing?"

"Oh, you know, Frediting," Freddie responded.

Carly giggles for a few seconds and stops. Freddie looked over at Carly and asked, "Did you think it was still funny from last time?"

"No."

"I thought so," Freddie said, getting back to editing the frames.

The power suddenly went out again, only this time, it lasted for ten seconds. Then, it came back on. However, someone was missing from the group.

"Where's Gibby," Carly asked, looking around for Gibby.

"He's gone," Freddie said, freaking out.

"Gone? Ugh, why couldn't it have been you, Fredbag," Sam asked as she pointed to Freddie, "It would be a lot quieter here and less nerd talking."

"Well, why couldn't it have been you? You barge in Carly's apartment every day, just to get bacon or ham or," Freddie pauses and asks, "Are you eating chicken?"

"Yeah, I bought it and shipped it here so I can eat it," Sam responded with a mouthful of chicken.

Spencer came out of his room and replied, "Is everyone okay? I noticed the power going out for a few seconds."

"No, Gibby's gone," Carly walked angrily towards her older brother.

"Oh, that's terrible. Hopefully he's okay too," Spencer responded with some concern.

Gubby went over to Freddie, who was panicking, because he had to start over with rendering again. He pokes Freddie's thigh, hoping to know that he was next to him. Freddie looked down, annoyed that he had to start all over again, and asked, "What?"

Guppy handed Freddie a bouquet of roses that he randomly had. Freddie felt really confused and asked, "Oh, who are these for?

"You, You, You," Gubby said, pointing to Freddie three times.

"Oh, thanks. Are these from you," Freddie asked.

Guppy shook his head side-to-side. He then signaled Freddie to come closer. Guppy told Freddie who they were from and got ecstatic, mouth agape and giggling. He then replied, "No way! Are you serious? You want me to give these to her when it's just me and her?"

Guppy nodded and hugged Freddie. Freddie hugged back and replied, "Thank you so much! I can't believe I'm actually going to this!"

Guppy gave a thumbs up for Freddie, meaning 'You're welcome'.

Spencer grabbed his phone and started calling Gibby's mom, about to tell her everything, "Hi, is this Mrs. Gibson?"

He waited for a response and continued talking, "Good, uh, this is Spencer Shay from 8C in Bushwell Plaza. So, apparently, Gibby's missing, and I don't know if he left, and we didn't know or-"

He was cut off from a screaming Mrs. Gibson, who was freaking out on the phone. Spencer told her to calm down and said, "Don't worry Mrs. Gibson! We'll call him and see what happened to him. I was just calling you to let you know."

He then looked at his phone and saw that Mrs. Gibson ended the call.

Carly looked confused at her older brother and asked, "Who was on the other end?"

"Gibby's mom. I called her to see if he went to his house without us knowing, but she started freaking out and hung up on me," Spencer replied.

"Well, if Gibby left, he would've taken Guppy with him," Carly said, pointing over to Guppy.

"Well, we all have to find him," Spencer said.

There was a big crash in the garage. The five were startled and wondered what happened. Spencer responded, "You four stay here. I'll check the garage."

Spencer ran towards the kitchen and opened the door that leads to the garage. He looked around and couldn't find anyone or anything that wouldn't cause a big crashing sound. Suddenly, the same black figure that knocked out Gibby reappears behind Spencer. It's got a heavy weight in its hands. It waits for the perfect moment and drops it on Spencer's head, which he yelps and knocks out.

Inside the apartment, the four heard the Loud yelp and went to investigate. They saw Spencer, with a heavy weight on his back and were utterly horrified.

"Spence, you okay," Sam asked, shaking his arm. She called his name again, "Spence?"

She got up and stood with the others, "I don't know what happened, but it seems like he got knocked out and," Sam froze and saw a red liquid coming out of Spencer's ear. She went over to it and touched it. She then realizes what it is and screams, "IT'S BLOOD!!!!"

The four screamed and went back into the apartment to lock the garage door. Sam proceeds to wipe her hands on Freddie's black jacket. He felt disgusted and tried slapping Sam's hands away, but she didn't let him.

"Okay, anybody have the feeling that this is going to feel the same way as our Halloween webcast a while back," Carly asked frantically.

Freddie and Sam nodded in agreement. Guppy stood there, holding hands with Freddie, confused on what they were talking about, but decided to nod his head pretending to understand that he knew.

"Mama needs bacon fast," Sam said, rushing over to the fridge and looking for some bacon. Once she found it, she opened the back and felt something wet. She looked down and screamed. She threw the bag on the floor and rushed behind Carly.

"Carly, there's blood in the bacon. Mama doesn't like blood in her bacon," Sam said, freaking out and grabbing on Carly's shoulders tight.

"It's okay. You're gonna be fine-"

"No! Mama's not gonna be fine. I need to get out of here, fast," Sam replied as she ran towards the door and left. Freddie and Carly looked at each other, confused about Sam's behavior. Sam then came back and grabbed her bucket of chicken and left for good.

As Sam was rushing home, she tripped on something and fell down the stairs, resulting in yelps, screams, and moans that hurt. The three heard her and decided to investigate. They saw her on the seventh floor, lying unconscious with chicken all around her. Carly went over to Sam and asked, "Sam?"

No response. Carly then slapped Sam's face to see if she would wake up, but nothing. Carly tilted her head down, with her hair covering her face, and started crying over her best friend's dead body. Freddie saw this and went over to sit with her. He comforts her by rubbing her back and giving her warm hugs. Guppy saw this and went over to Carly and Freddie. He decided to hug her for some support.

Freddie looked at Carly with a concerned facial expression and quietly said, "It's okay. We're gonna find out who's doing this and put an end to it."

Carly nodded as she wiped more tears from her eyes.

"Let's just go back to the apartment," Carly said, getting up. Freddie and Guppy follow behind her. When they got to 8C, Mrs. Benson came out of her apartment and asked, "What's going on? I heard screaming!"

"Mom, it's okay. We're fine-"

"But I heard screaming and," Mrs. Benson looked over at Carly, who was still crying. She looked over at her son and asked, "Fredward Benson, did you do something to her to make her cry?"

"No mom. I didn't do anything to her. I swear-"

"Don't swear in front of me, Freddie, and who's kid is that," Mrs. Benson asked, pointing to the child.

"Oh, this is Gibby's little brother, Guppy. I'm watching him because Gibby went missing and both Sam and Spencer got knocked out-"

"You come with me this instinct! We need to clean you off because that kid could have germs," Mrs. Benson yelled at her own son.

"But-"

"No buts Fredward! Inside now!!!"

Freddie looked down, defeated by his mother. He whispered to Carly, "I'll text you when I can."

"Okay. Thanks Freddie."

"You're welcome. Oh, can you watch Gubby while I'm with my mom?"

"Sure."

Freddie pulled Guppy to Carly and locked hands with her. Freddie and his mom walked in the apartment across from them and slammed the door. Carly opened her apartment and closed the door. She walked up the stairs with Guppy following behind her. She lied on her bed, crying some more over her two friends, Gibby and Sam, as well as her older brother, Spencer. Guppy walked over to her and patted her back, comforting her some more. She looked up and said quietly, "Thanks Guppy."

Guppy gave a thumbs up, meaning 'You're welcome'. He then signaled her to come closer to him. She leaned forward and Guppy whispered something in her that made her a bit happy. She sniffed and said, "Really? I-Is that true?"

Guppy nodded his head and proceeded to hug her. She hugged back, feeling the warmth and chubbiness of Guppy Gibson. He let go and ran off, leaving her confused yet hurtful at the same time. Did she do something wrong? Did she say something wrong? She decided to lay down and start crying when she heard her phone go off. She grabbed her phone and looked to see who texted her. It was Freddie, which made her a little happier. She read his message.

Freddie: Hey Carls. You doing okay?

She texted back, letting him know that she was fine.

Carly: A little better. Still crying over Gibby, Sam, & Spencer.

Freddie saw the text message from Carly and felt heartbroken. He texted her back.

Freddie: Hopefully you'll feel better soon and hopefully they'll be okay. Monday's gonna be here soon and I don't want my Carly to still be sad. If you need anything, text me. I'm free for the rest of Saturween!

She giggled as she received his message. Sometimes, he would say 'My Carly' if someone's messing with her, but always correct himself. She saw that he quickly texted back and read it.

Freddie: Uh, meant to say, 'I don't want to see you still sad on Monday'.

'Sure Freddie,' she thought to herself. She then heard a knock on her bedroom door. She looked up and said, "Hey Guppy!"

Guppy waved and had something behind his back. She questioned Guppy and asked, "Whatcha got there Guppy?"

Guppy walked over to Carly and pulled out the bouquet of roses that he gave to Freddie. She felt her heart melt and grabbed them from him. She asked, "Who are these for?"

Guppy pointed at her and replied, "You!"

"Aww! Thanks Guppy," she then looked at him and said, "Who are these from?"

Guppy sat on her bed and whispered in her ear who they were from. She felt her heart melt even more and responded, "Really? That's so sweet of him to do that."

Guppy nodded and gave a thumbs up, meaning 'He's a good man'."

Carly's phone went off and went to see who texted her. It was Freddie, of course. She read his message.

Freddie: Sorry! Couldn't text for a while. Mom sprayed me with 'Anti-Bacteria' in a can. Anything been going on?

Guppy looked at what Carly was texting Freddie.

Carly: No worries and you didn't miss anything. Guppy's been giving me company and making me feel better.

Freddie was relieved that she was feeling a lot better, but his mom came into the bedroom and replied, "Freddie, it's time for your tick spray!"

Freddie rolled his eyes and said in a monotone voice, "I'll be in there in a minute."

"Well, hurry," Mrs. Benson said, walking out of Freddie's bedroom. He texted Carly back that he had to do more spraying.

Freddie: Sorry Carls. I got to do another tick inspection. See ya in a few!

After he texted her, he went into the bathroom and his mom sprayed him down.

Meanwhile with Carly and Guppy, Carly saw the text from Freddie and giggled a bit before texting him.

Carly: Don't worry! I know how your mom is. Have fun...I guess.

After she texted him back, she looked over at Guppy and asked, "Do you miss your older brother?"

Guppy nodded. Carly came out and said, "Yeah, I miss him too. Along with my older brother and my best friend. I hope they're okay and wake up. It's only six-fifty and maybe some children will come to get candy. Otherwise, it's all mine."

Carly had a mischievous smile on her face. Guppy looked up and started laughing, which made Carly laugh along. They laughed for a few seconds until Carly sighed and said, "I just hope everything is okay with the three."

Guppy pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Carly. She felt confused but read it aloud.

"Carly, it's okay. I miss my brother a lot. Even when he comes here to do the web show, I miss him so much that I just beg that he comes home safe and sound. I look up to him because he's my role model and I love him. I also hope that we can find your older brother and the blonde one. Don't tell her I said this, but I have a small crush on her. That explains the flowers I got her. Also, I think that vampire boy has a crush on you too!"

Carly smiled at the note Guppy gave her and said, "Aww! You like Sam?"

Guppy nodded, but Carly said, "Isn't she out of your league? I mean she's eighteen and you're six or something."

Guppy turns the paper over and points to it, letting Carly know what to read. She read it aloud.

"But Gibby had a crush on her and it seems like he didn't mind."

She turned to Guppy and asked, "When did Gibby have a crush on Sam?"

Guppy didn't know so he put his hands in a 'I don't know' position. Carly then said, "Gibby's eighteen so, that's exceptional, but a six-year-old and an eighteen-year-old can't get together because that's a huge age difference and I don't think Sam likes you 'that way'. She's into mean boys that picks on other kids and loves food. You seem like a boy that likes his brother."

Guppy nodded in agreement and Carly flipped the paper. She read through it again and looked at him, asking, "How'd you know I got a crush on Freddie?"

Guppy flipped the paper over and pointed at another sentence. She reads it aloud, again.

"You two hang out a lot, duh!"

"But that doesn't mean that I-" she paused and saw Guppy wasn't beside her. She felt bummed out and asked, "Where did you go this time, Guppy?"

Notes:

Okay, honestly, I don't know why young me wrote Guppy like that, but here's my explanation to what I think was going on in my head at the time.

I remember that Guppy only appeared in a few episodes later in the seasons and I don't think he did much. I know he would say "Happy Birthday!" and he did something else to (maybe he took off his shirt like Gibby did sometimes? Idk, but I know he acted very similar to Gibby). As for the whole Guppy having a crush on Sam thing, I remember watching a short video from iCarly, and it was either hinted or stated that Guppy had a crush on Sam for some reason. I'm 100% certain it wasn't from the show, and it was definitely a video on the iCarly website, but I don't remember which video it's from. I know it had Guppy and Sam in it and maybe Gibby was there to, but I'm not sure. I know this sounds crazy, but I swear to my grandmother's grave that this is true, and I am not making any of this stuff up. My memory is a little fuzzy and that's all that I remember, so hopefully that kind of made sense and gave a little context as well.

I'm gonna try and find the video because I know it's real. I just don't know which video it's from.

Alright, I'll see y'all in Chapter 5!

Chapter 5

Alright guys, this is the final chapter of this story. If you have made it this far, then congratulations and thanks for sticking around! If you didn't, then that's fine. See ya at the end of the chapter!

Chapter Text

She walked out of her bedroom and went downstairs to see if Guppy went into the kitchen or watched some TV. He wasn't in her living room nor kitchen. She checked Spencer's room while calling his name. Still no response. Did the black figure get him to or was he playing hide and seek? While searching in her older brother's room, there was a knock at her door. She walked over and opened it, revealing Freddie, still in his vampire costume.

"Hey Carls," he said in his deep, vampire voice.

"Hey," she responded in a sad tone.

"You okay? You seem stressed," he paused for a second and asked, "Did someone hurt you?"

She looked confused at him and said, "What? No. I can't find Guppy."

Freddie's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe it. The girl he trusted lost their friend's little brother in her own apartment. He asked, "How did you lose him that fast?"

"I don't know. We were just talking and then he just disappeared into thin air," Carly explains.

Freddie felt a bit confused and weirded out, "Are you sure it wasn't your vision blurring up from crying today or did you not get enough sleep yesterday," he asked.

She pulled him into her apartment and slammed the door and locked it. She then said, "No to the first question and yes to the second. I need you to help me find him along with the others. Are we clear?"

He put his hands up, in defense, while saying, "Yes, we're clear. Please don't hurt me!"

"Thank you," she said, running towards the steps. She then told Freddie, "Give me a few minutes because I think I know who did this."

Freddie nodded in approval and watched her go upstairs. After a few minutes passed, Carly was dressed in a pink shirt, a jean jacket, jeans and black shoes. She also brought her purse.

"Come on Freddie," she said to Freddie. Freddie came along and went out the door.

Meanwhile with Sam, Gibby, Guppy and Spencer, who were chained to the walls. They were all knocked out and stayed still like statues. The mysterious black figure walked towards them saying, "Don't worry about Freddie and Carly! I'll get them next. They won't even suspect a thing."

The black figure then starts laughing evilly, which doesn't wake the four of them up for some reason.

With Freddie and Carly, they were walking fast and headed somewhere. Freddie asked, "Where are we headed to exactly?"

"Nevel's house," she responded firmly.

"Oh, yeah. He could be behind this without us knowing," Freddie answered.

Twenty minutes later, they got to Nevel's house. Carly knocked on the door as loud as she could while yelling, "NEVEL!"

Inside, Nevel Papperman was working on something when he heard banging on the door. He stopped what he was doing and asked himself, "What is happening out there?"

He went to the door and looked through the peephole and saw Carly and Freddie at his door. He opened his door and greeted them, "Carly Shay and Fredward Benson. Did you finally come over to tell me that I can have your web show for good?"

"Enough sappy talk Nevel. What did you do to our friends," Carly angrily asked.

He looked shocked at them and said, "Your friends? I did nothing to your friends, honest."

"Listen Pap, we know you took our friends, and we want them back now," Freddie replied.

"Yeah, and you wore all black too so, you're the thief. Case closed," Carly chimed in.

Nevel sighs as he looks at Carly, "I'm glad you think that Carly, but I was here all day working on something important. I wasn't snooping around, as you people call it, in your apartment earlier. I was here and you have to believe me. If you want me to drink out of one of you guys shoes to show you that I didn't do it, I'd be glad to get it over with."

Freddie took off one of his shoes and handed it to Nevel, "Here, drink out of this shoe and I want you to drink," Freddie searches for something in Nevel's house and says, "that Wahoo Punch can."

Nevel looked shocked and said, "I didn't mean literally-"

"Look, just do it unless you have something else on your mind," Carly replied.

Nevel got closer to Carly and whispered, "Kiss me."

"Freddie, give him the shoe," Carly responded to Freddie.

"Here, pour that can of Wahoo Punch in my shoe and we'll call it even," Freddie said, handing his shoe to Nevel.

Nevel snatched the shoe from Freddie and grabbed the Wahoo Punch can. He poured the drink into Freddie's shoe and drank it, slowly while trying not to think that Nevel was drinking out of Freddie's shoe. Once finished, he showed Freddie and Carly that he drank every last drop. Nevel gives Freddie back his shoe and asks, "Do ya believe me now?"

"Sure. Let's go Freddie," Carly said, walking away from the Papperman's house.

"Yeah," Freddie said, eyeing Nevel and giving him the 'I'm watching you' eyes while walking away. He soon caught up to Carly while Nevel, in the background, said, "Come back whenever you're alone Ms. Shay."

"I won't," Carly yelled back.

The two started walking back while Freddie was making small talk, "So, if it wasn't Nevel, who else could it be?"

Carly thought, then stopped in her tracks. Freddie wondered why she stopped and asked, "Why'd ya stop?"

"Nora," she answered quietly.

"Who?"

"Nora, you know, that psychopath that trapped us in her basement and wouldn't let us leave her house until she had her birthday. The one that kissed you for some minutes while me and Sam just stood there watching while eating cake."

"Ugh, do I have to go with you? What if she starts kissing me for hours? She's gonna think I'm a cute, hot vampire that probably wants me to be her vampire boyfriend," Freddie whined, not wanting to see that psychopath again.

"Please, for me," she replied to Freddie.

He knew she was manipulating him into doing it because she did it all the time to him in school or in her apartment. He didn't want to do it, but his friends were probably trapped with her so he responded, "Fine, but if she starts kissing me, can you at least kick her in the shins and not stand around like an idiot?"

"I'll try," Carly said, walking towards where Nora's house is.

After a long walk, they finally made it to Nora's house. Carly knocked on her door, hoping she'll answer. The door unlocked, revealing Nora in a princess costume. She squealed and said, "Carly!! Freddie!! It's so nice to see you again! How are y'all?"

She hugged them and started jumping up and down. She let go and signaled them to come inside, "Come on in! Sit! Sit! It's been awhile since y'all came over. So, what's up?"

"Where's our friends," Carly shouted at Nora.

"Your friends are safe and sound with me," Nora said, chuckling at the end of her sentence and petting her chicken Maurice.

"So you admit you took our friends," Freddie said in his vampire voice, "Interesting."

Nora put her chicken down and walked slowly towards Freddie, "Oh Freddie, you sound so manly with your voice so deep."

Freddie starts stuttering and gets out of his seat while saying, "O-Oh, uh, t-thanks?"

"Do you want some candy," Nora asked while flirting with Freddie.

"Uh, sure. Why not? Whatcha go-"

He got cut off by a pair of Nora's lips. He tried so hard to get out but couldn't get out of Nora's grip. He looked over to Carly, wide-eyed, and signaled her to get Nora off of him. Carly went over and tried pulling her off but couldn't.

"Wow Nora, how did you get so strong," Carly asked.

Nora took her lips off of Freddie and faced Carly, "I've been practicing in case you would do that."

Freddie hid behind Carly, hoping Nora wouldn't see him, but she found him.

"So, how was that Freddie," Nora asked.

Freddie wipes his lips, trying his best to get Nora's lip smell off of his, "Ugh, disgusting. You taste like barf and don't kiss me ever again. My lips are reserved for someone else," he said while looking at Carly.

"Just give us our friends and we can never see each other again. Deal," Carly asked Nora.

"Ooh, I don't accept that deal. How about another deal," Nora said, picking up her chicken.

"What," Carly asked.

"Come visit me for one day a month and I'll let your friends go," Nora responded to her deal.

Freddie pulled Carly away for a bit to talk to her, "I don't want to visit her one day each month. Can't we do two or three, so she doesn't continue kissing my face every time we see her?"

"Do you want our friends back or not," Carly asked quietly.

"Well, I don't mind us being alone for some time," Freddie responded with a hint of flirtiness.

Carly thumbed him, resulting in a quiet yelp. He then changed his mind, "I was kidding. We do need them back."

"Yeah, or else no more iCarly."

"We could do it-"

"Do you want me to thump you again or not?"

"No. I'm sorry. Let's just get this over with."

"Good idea."

The two walked over to Nora and answered her question, "Deal."

Nora claps her hands together and says, "Yeah! BRB!"

She left them in her living room as she went to go get the keys to her basement. While getting the keys, someone peered around a corner. It decided to go over to the two and see what they were doing. It tapped on Carly, resulting in her screaming.

Freddie looked up and asked, "You okay Carls?"

"No, someone touched my thigh," Carly quickly said.

Freddie looked over and replied, "I don't know what could've caused it but, Guppy's sitting on the couch with his phone."

He then realized what he said and responded, "Guppy?!?!"

"Happy birthday," Guppy excitedly said his catchphrase, once again.

"How did you get out," Carly asked Guppy.

"I don't know," he said to Carly.

"Quick! You got the keys to Nora's basement," Freddie asked Guppy.

Guppy nodded and showed Freddie and Carly the key.

"Great! Can I have them," Freddie asked Guppy. Guppy shakes his head and hands them to Carly. He felt stunned and confused at the same time. Carly looked over at Freddie and asked, "What?"

"Nothing," Freddie said under his breath.

The three went over to Nora's basement and unlocked her basement door. They ran down the stairs to find Sam, Gibby and Spencer in the booth. Sam looked through the glass and saw Freddie, Carly and Guppy outside.

"Oh, thank chiz. Mama's gonna go home," Sam said to the others.

"How do you know," Spencer asked.

Sam bangs on the glass, signaling Freddie, Carly and Guppy that they were in the booth. Carly ran over and unlocked the door. Sam walked out and hugged Carly while saying, "Thanks chiz you came looking for us."

"Yep," Carly said, still hugging Sam.

"GUPPEH," Gibby yelled at his little brother in excitement.

"GIBBEH," Guppy yelled in excitement as well. They hugged also.

"Hey Freddio," Spencer said, messing his hair up.

"Hey Spence," Freddie responded in annoyance.

"How come it took you guys so long," Spencer asked.

"Well, Carly thought it was Nevel, but it wasn't. He said he was at his house all day, working on something. Then, while we were walking back to her apartment, she remembered Nora, so we came here and found y'all," Freddie explains.

"Good. We better get out of here before that Nora girl comes and sees us," Spencer said.

"Yeah, let's go," Freddie said in agreement.

Spencer got in front of Freddie and made him stop. Freddie asked, "What?"

"Why do your lips have food on them," Spencer asked.

"What I don't have," he felt his lips and whined, "Ugh, stupid Nora."

"She kissed you again?"

"How'd you know?"

"She was telling me, Sam, and Gibby that she wanted to kiss you again."

"Of course she would-"

"Hey, why'd we stop? Is the door locked," Sam butted in Freddie and Spencer's conversation.

"No," replied Spencer.

"Well, hurry! Mama's hungry-"

"Alright, we will go," Spencer interrupted Sam.

Spencer opened the door and saw no one in the living room or kitchen. Spencer signaled everyone to get out now. The gang ran to the door and left immediately.

"So, where's the car," asked Sam.

"We didn't come here by car," replied Freddie.

"So, how did you two find us," Sam asked again.

"We walked," Carly responded.

Sam whined and groaned, "Ugh, why is life filled with pain," she looked over to Freddie, "besides Fredward."

Freddie looked over at Sam in annoyance, once again, and asked, "Do you have to do that every time that you don't like something?"

"Uh-huh," Sam said, while thumbing his forehead. He yelled and asked, "Why'd you do that?"

"Cause I wanna," Sam said, walking away from Freddie. He looked furious and ran after her, "What did I tell you about walking away from someone talking to you?"

"Carls, get nerd boy to stop talking," said Sam as she walked next to Carly.

"You can't control what comes out of Freddie's mouth," said Carly.

Sam groans and walks away from Carly. Freddie came next to Carly and asked, "Carly, isn't it wrong to walk away from someone while they're talking?"

"Yeah," replied Carly.

"See Sam? Even Carly agrees with me," Freddie yells at Sam.

"Whatever, you always agree with Carly on stuff anyways," responded Sam as she yelled back.

"Not all the time," Freddie spat back.

"Alright, cut the chiz. Gibbs," Sam yells.

Gibby walks towards Sam, "What's up?"

"I want you and Freddie to carry me to Carly's apartment," Sam replied.

"Why me," Freddie asked.

"Cause I hate you," responded Sam.

"Well, why not Spencer," asked Gibby as he pointed to Spencer.

"Eh, I like Spencer," she then looked over at Spencer and said, "You're a good man, Spence."

"Thanks, you too," Spencer replied.

After a few minutes of Freddie, Sam and Gibby arguing, they finally settled on it and walked home, while carrying Sam in their arms. As time passed, the gang finally got back to the apartment and sat on the couch.

"Weird day, huh," Gibby asked. Everyone nods their heads in agreement.

"Anyone have the time," asked Sam.

"It is eight-twenty," responded Freddie.

"Now what should we do," asked Spencer.

"Watch the spooky channel," Sam suggested.

"No, not after what happened. For what we know, it wouldn't be three or four of us go missing. It could be all six of us next," Freddie got hit in the head with a ball that Sam threw at him, "Sam!!"

"You're boring me, you nub," Sam spat back, "Now come on, let's watch."

"I thought we were watching Full House," Carly frowned.

"Oh yeah, Spence, Full House," Sam replied to Spencer.

Spencer changed the channel to watch Full House. It was a Halloween episode called, "It's Not My Job." Once they were done with that episode, they watched more Halloween episodes on Full House like "Divorce Courts", "Mad Money", "Those Better Not Be The Days", "Terror in Tanner Town" and many more. After watching Full House, kids were coming by the apartment, trick-or-treating with their costumes on. After a few hours of that, they sat on the couch (or floor) and were exhausted.

"What a day," replied Freddie in an exhausting tone.

"I know. I'm so hungry," Sam moaned as she was upside down on the couch with her hair touching the floor.

Freddie looked over, disgusted at Sam eating lots of candy and her eating habits, "You ate two hundred and eighty-six pieces of candy. How are you still hungry?"

Sam looked over at Freddie and said, "I don't care," she then looked at Gibby and replied, "Gibby, more candy!"

"At your service," Gibby said as he fed Sam.

"See? Gibby respects me," Sam said while eating some candy.

Freddie rolled his eyes and mumbled under his breath, "Whatever."

"Happy birthday," Guppy said excitedly to the gang.

They looked over, confused at Guppy as Gibby said, "It's nobody's birthday silly."

"Can I have french fries?"

"No, it's late for french fries Guppy. How about some candy-"

"I think these pants are too tight on me," Guppy said, feeling his bottom.

"I thought you said they were fine with you when we were at the house," Gibby said to his little brother.

"Can I get my french fries now?"

"You want me to make him some fries," Carly asked, getting off the couch.

"No, he doesn't need any, but thanks for the offer," Gibby said, declining Carly's offer. He turned to his little brother and said aloud, "You already had french fries with nuggets today. It's too late to eat greasy foods this late at night."

"It's only ten-thirty," Guppy argued with his older brother.

"See? That's late. Eat some more candy," Gibby responded as he gave Guppy some chocolates.

Guppy whispered something in Gibby's ear. Gibby responded with, "You want her to do it?"

Guppy nodded. Gibby looked over at Carly and asked, "Can you feed Guppy some chocolates?"

"Why me," Carly asked, confused about what's going on.

"Cause he said," Gibby stopped and whispered to Carly, which shocked her a bit. She responded with, "Oh, weird."

"Yeah, can ya do it?"

"Fine. Give me the chocolates," Carly said as she had her hand out. Gibby dropped the pieces into Carly's hand and said, "There ya go Guppy. You happy?"

Guppy nodded and signaled his older brother to move. Gibby got off the couch and sat in a black chair, next to Spencer, who was sitting on a stool. Carly gave Guppy the chocolates and started munching on them. Freddie looked over, confused on why Carly's feeding Gibby's little brother and asked, "Why?"

"Because," she signaled Freddie to come closer and listened to what she said. He felt a little shock and weirded out.

"Why would a six-year-old think about you 'that way'?"

"I don't know, and it is weird."

"What's weird," Sam asked.

"Guppy's weird response request," Carly answered.

"Why? What did he say to you," Sam asked questions about Guppy.

"He didn't say it. Gibby did," Carly answered again.

Sam turned to look at Gibby and asked, "What did that little weirdo say about my best friend?"

"He said that Carly was," Gibby started, but got nervous and fiddled with his fingers. He then continued to get it over with by whispering to Sam and Spencer about Gubby's response.

The four look even more confused on why a six-year-old would think that. Spencer leaned towards Gibby and said, "You got the weirdest little brother ever."

"I know. Sam said that thousands of times before," Gibby said to Spencer. Gibby then looked at his little brother and said, "Okay Guppy, it's time to go home."

Guppy looked up and hugged Carly, letting Gibby know that he didn't want to go. Gibby rolled his eyes and groaned a bit. He then said, "Maybe mom's gonna make French Fries for you?"

Guppy got off the couch and went over to his older brother.

"Well, see you guys whenever," Gibby said as he walked to the door and opened it. The four waved and Gibby and Guppy left.

"Well, I better get home before my mom has another panic attack. See ya tomorrow," Freddie said, heading to the door.

"Thank you," Sam said. Freddie stopped at the door and said, "I don't have time for this," and left to go across from Carly's apartment.

Sam looked at her red flip phone and accepted the call, "What mom?"

On the other end was Sam's messed up mother that still dates lots of boys and gets drunk real easy. She drunk talked Sam on the phone, telling her to come home this instinct.

"Ugh, fine. I'll be there in ten," Sam replied and hung up on her mom. She told Carly, "Hey, I gotta go home. See ya tomorrow, Carls."

"Bye," Carly said, waving at Sam as she left the Shay's apartment.

"Welp, time for bed kiddo," Spencer said, getting up from the stool.

"Okay, goodnight Spencer," Carly said, getting up from the couch and walking up the stairs.

"Goodnight," Spencer yelled from his room.

With that, they went to bed for another crazy day with everyone. Well, maybe not crazy like this, but the usual things that happen to the gang in Seattle.
