As someone whose pseudo-father was an irredeemable villain, I personally can't see things from Shredder's point of view, but then again the Shredder really didn't have much of a reason to be the way he was. All of his anger was fueled by self-righteousness, greed and his own pathetic insecurities. Your Superfly sounds like someone who just had a traumatic event radically affect his world view at a very early age and was then left without a parent or guardian to help him. What sweet, sweet Angelo means is that Baron Draxum is the Yokai responsible for mutating us with our father's DNA. He in fact created the ooze that all mutants in our dimension come from. Draxum chose to combine us with our Splinter's DNA because he was a great fighter, thus making him a prime candidate for creating four weapons of war. Also-and this is just a personal theory, but I think the others will back me up on this-I believe he also chose Papa because he thought he was hot. Mere speculation, really, but there is some captivating evidence.

To answer your many questions, Othertello: Yes, Draxum chose us to be warriors in a supposedly prophesied war between humans and Yokai. He was unaware of the existence of the Foot Clan or the Krang back then as far as I know. He was trying to create the perfect army to fight against the so called "human threat." And yes, Yokai are very real, given that thousands of them live in the Hidden City under New York.

I think your Donnie just has difficulty empathizing with others and seeing things from another's point of view. Having low empathy is nothing to be ashamed of and it certainly doesn't make tech a bad person. A lot of neurodivergent people have trouble identifying emotions in others or even in themselves. It sounds like Purple wasn't purposely being malicious, but rather didn't stop to think emotionally rather than rationally. I've had some trouble with that in the past myself. Casey still has to remind me to "think with my heart" sometimes, though that is literally impossible and I hate that phrase with a fiery passion.

No? Our Shredder was the living embodiment of the Kuroi Yoroi, a mystic suit of armor forged by the Krang which corrupts the wearer. Oroku Saki struck a deal with the Krang in order to help him defeat a rival clan, but once he donned the Dark Armor it completely took over his body and mind. His soul became entrapped in the armor until he was defeated by his daughter, our Karai (aka Gram Gram), when the pieces of the armor scattered around the globe. The remaining members of the Foot Clan kept the armor's faceplate and made it their mission to find the rest. The Hamato Clan made it their mission to keep that from happening, lest the Shredder take form again. There's obviously more to the story, but that's the basic rundown of the history of our Shredder.

Lou Jitsu was the stage name that Papa adopted after moving to America and becoming a movie star. Hamato Yoshi and Lou Jitsu are the same person; Lou Jitsu is just the name he's famous under. Also, I believe it's spelled that way because most Western audiences at the time wouldn't know how to correctly pronounce the word Jutsu, so they modified it to be more phonetically accurate to the English language. Raffaello did say before that he completely Americanized himself after leaving the clan. /nm

the short version: this bitch has been bullying and misgendering our sister (and probably other trans kids at school) but Vinnie was too scared to say anything (/nm!!) until recently and this girl happens to be vice president of the lgbtqia+ club and April's friend. well, she was April's friend. She's mad bc Vinnie didn't tell her she was being bullied sooner, which i guess is fair from her point of view but personally i'm angrier at this tool for making my sister feel unsafe at school ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Our Raph struggles with misdirected anger too, so don't feel too bad. It's hard when you feel protective of someone and then you find out they've been hurt seemingly right under your nose. I know what it's like to take on your siblings' safety and wellbeing as your personal responsibility-and while you do have to all look out for each other, you shouldn't feel as though you have to be omnipresent in their lives and protect them from everyone and everything. You're still a kid too, and you need to focus on yourself sometimes. I'm sure Vinnie doesn't blame or resent any one of you. /gen
