"Why do you guys insist to keep on poking me" Hope asks Penelope and Josie who had been poking/teasing her what ever you want to call it for as long as she can remember and today was one of those days where they had to bother her every period and even in between periods "God Hope isn't it obvious we do it for fun plus it's easy to get under your skin it's actually pretty funny" Penelope says "Well it's fun for us at least probably not you unless of course you do like it so let me ask you something. Do you like it useless?" Josie asks Hope "No I don't" Hope says annoyed "You know what Hope even if Ms. Forbes likes you she still isn't your family" Penelope tells Hope "Yeah Hope how come your family never comes don't tell me they found out about how much of a disappointment you are and left you, not that I could blame them of course" Josie adds "Fuck you" Hope says right before walking out silently crying because there was no way she was going to let them know that they made her cry, but maybe if she had let them see they would have stopped "You wish we would let you fuck us or let ourselves fall to fucking you but we have standers Hope some that you will NEVER meet" Josie yells after her and even though Hope could hear her she didn't really hear her.

'I can't do it anymore I'm tired where is it' Hope thinks but then she see it, her knife 'Okok now let me find ah here it is' she says referring to a mixture of wolfsbane and vervain to allow her to actually cut her self and for the cuts to stay only for a little while but still 'Cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut' 'Useless their right it's you fault they all hate you. You just make them feel bad. You are a disappointment. You shouldn't be here they're better than you. You're the worst, You're mean. You're rude they were trying to be nice while you where just cold, cruel, terrible self.' Hope thinks adding reason and reason and reason for her to cut herself there's blood she's bleeding out onto the floor she should have done this in the shower why didn't she why did she have to be so-.

All of a sudden the door opens and in walks Lizzie "HOPE my mom wants to talk to you about your family or something-" Lizzie starts but when she sees Hope sitting on the floor bootle of wolfsbane and vervain with cuts on her thighs and a knife well she could put the two and two together "Oh my god Hope stay right there I'll bandage you up don't worry" Lizzie says opening the cabinet and grabbing the first aid kit "Why would you do this?" Lizzie asks while getting the bandages out Hope wanting to know what could drive this strong girl to do all of this to herself "They're right" Hope says sounding hollow and numb "Who?" Lizzie asks while also wonder what could they have said? Where they close to her? Who could have caused such a reaction? Was it because of the person who said? Or the words that they had said? Or both she's thinking when suddenly Hope says "Your sister and her girlfriend" Lizzie was shocked Lizzie knew that Josie wasn't the nicest to Hope but she didn't think Josie was this mean to the girl that made the girl feel the need to do this or drive her to do this because while Josie was not the nicest to Hope Lizzie still thought that she was still nice in general Penelope though wasn't nice to Hope or most minus Caroline and Josie but even then she never though Penelope was this mean "What did they say?" Lizzie asks what could they have said that made Hope react like this or did she always react like this and when they tell her stuff what exactly do they tell her "They said 'You know what Hope even if Ms. Forbes likes you she still isn't your family yeah Hope how come they never come don't tell me they found out about how much of a disappointment you are and left you, not that I could blame them of course' it hurt so bad Lizzie my parents are dead and it's all my fault they sacrificed themselves for me and my uncle Elijah did the exact same thing. If they did come to see me they'd just end up dead because of me. They're right I'm stupid and useless and I always hear it in my head and the only way to make it stop is to do this Lizzie. Promise you won't tell anyone please" Hope finishes "Let's go sit on your bed and do we can talk some more ok" Lizzie says shocked but knows that she needs to process this and think about what to say because if she doesn't Hope could spiral but she eventually figures out what to say once they are about to sit down on the bed and then when they sit down on the bed Lizzie tells Hope "I think you should tell someone BUT I won't tell anyone even though I don't like it ok and I'm not trying to make you feel bad I just honestly think that you should tell someone ok" "Ok" Hope responds to Lizzie "Also Josette and Penelope are so wrong do NOT lisen to them ok. You are awesome and you are not responsible for their death they died for you yes but not BECAUSE of you and they wanted that ok. I know it sucks and no pesonly I don't know and I probably can't even fully imagine what it feels like but i do know that they don't want you to be dead" Lizzie tells Hope "Thank you Lizzie" Hope says feeling better knowing that someone doesn't see her like a monster "Don't worry about it" Lizzie tells her calmly before asking "Can I stay with you tonight?" "Yes but why" Hope asks "Well 1 no offense but I don't want you to do anything bad or rash and 2 I don't want to be with Josette right now" Lizzie tells her. And it's true she doesn't want to leave Hope alone and she would rather not be with Josette right now "I'm sorry" Hope tells Lizzie feeling bad knowing that the twins are almost always together "She chose to do it don't apologize for her" Lizzie tells her not wanting Hope to feel bad.

Hope sees her mom and dad and runs up to them she pulls them into a bear hug but when she pulls back to see them it's there dead bodies and then we she looks around for something she sees Elijah's body then Freyas and Keelins, then Rebekah's and Marcels, then Kol and Davina, and then Caroline and Lizzie's "Nono mom, dad, Elijah, Freya, Keelin, Marcel, Rebekah, Kol, Davina, Caroline, Lizzie" Hope says looking around heartbroken not knowing what could have caused them all to die "It's all your fault" "We died because of you" "where ever you go death follows" "You are a disappointment" "you couldn't even save us" "you don't have a right to cry your the reason where dead" "You caused this it's all your fault" They tell her or at least she thinks they tell her at least something with their voices tell her. Hope can't figure out who's saying what "No.... I'm sorry" Hope says crying.

Hope jolts upright "Hope wake up" She hear Lizzie tell her while shaking her "You died. Everyone died Lizzie, it was all my fault they told me" Hope tells Lizzie crying rembering getting to see her family only for that to get ripped away again "Shhh it's ok not everyone died and it was not your fault. Come here let's go to sleep ok" Lizzie tells Hope trying her best to sound comforting while hugging Hope "You're too nice but thank you" Hope say quietly while hugging Lizzie and having her head buried into her side "You deserve it so you want to try going to sleep" Lizzie ask knowing the if Hope said no Lizzie would not be sleeping either not that she minded staying up for Hope "Will you leave" Hope asks Lizzie "No" She immediately responds with "I can try then" Hope tells her.

They end up sleeping till 7:30 "Hey" Lizzie tells Hope when Hope finally wakes up "Hi" Hope tells Lizzie "my mom wants to see you to talk about your family visiting and to train with you" Lizzie tells her after having opened a text from her mom a little bit before Hope woke up "ok" Hope tells Lizzie it takes them a minute but then they finally start getting dressed.(Lizzie brought a duffle bag with her cloths and other
necessities)

"Hey Hope there are you clothes as soon as you change we can train and then talk about your family visiting" Caroline tells Hope when she walks into the locker room "Ok Ms Forbes" Hope tells her taking off her pants to put on the shorts Caroline gave her, forgetting that Caroline can see her scares when she takes off her pants to put on the shorts "I though I told you to start calling me Caroline..... What is that on your legs Hope" Caroline asks Hope knowing what those marks on her legs are and making Hope realize that Caroline can see them "I- I'm sorry" Hope says crying "Oh Hope come here. It's going to be ok we're going to get you help I'm going to tell Emma now and then I'll tell you family ok. Does anyone else know" Caroline asks hugging hope "Lizzie found out last night she walked in on me, she might not tell you though I asked her not to and she said I should tell someone and that she didn't like it but she wouldn't tell" Hope tells Caroline "Ok Hope why don't you go back to your room your excused from the rest of your classes for the rest of the day" Caroline tells Hope not wanting the girl to get overwhelmed with everyone finding out and then having to go to class. Not to mention Emma is going to be talking to her very soon after she informs her about what Hope has been doing.

"Who knew" Caroline asks talking to Lizzie, Josie, and Penelope as soon as they close the door. They where all called to the headmasters office but none of them knew why "Knew what mom" Josie asks "Yeah where not mind readers mom but could you imagine that would be so cool" Lizzie says "I'm not sure what you talking about Ms Forbes" Penelope say confused "Who knew that Hope was cutting herself she already told me who" Caroline tells them matter of factly "Hope doesn't-" Josie starts "Ms Forbes I think your-" Penelope started at the same time as Josie getting interrupted when Lizzie says "I knew" Shocking Josie and Penelope since when had Hope started hurting herself is she ok what happened "You weren't going to tell me where you at least you where not going to come up to me or Emma and tell us where you?" Caroline asks but says it in a way where it isn't a question just a statement "You didn't see how she was mom after what they told her" Lizzie said the 'they' being Josie and Penelope but then she makes up a lie about who they 'they' is. And what she tells her mom is true it just wasn't the 'they' that she had been talking about "Who told her what?" Caroline asks "She told me that she would hear her mind telling her that she was useless and that her family finally found out about how much of a disappointment she is and that they don't love her because she killed her mom and dad and uncle and that if they do get close she is going to cause their death" Lizzie says because it was true but in Lizzie's mind what Josie and Penelope said was much much worse but that's not for her to tell "Ok well then I need you out of my office so I can talk to Hope's family they still don't know yet so please leave" Caroline says "Is Hope going to be ok" Penelope ask concerned "Tch like either of you care" Lizzie scoffs "What is that supposed to mean" Josie asks surprised her sister would say that of course her and Penelope are concerned why would Lizzie think their not "Hope told me about what you guys said last night" Lizzie says totally forgetting that she didn't want to be the one to tell her mom because why are they acting like they cared after what they said both said to Hope "What did they say" Caroline asks in her 'Upset mom voice' which if you ask the twins or Hope or Penelope or anyone who has seen Caroline when she starts to talk like that is a lot more scarier that her 'headmaster voice' which is the voice she had been talking in till now "Hope told me that they told her l'You know what Hope even if Ms. Forbes likes you she still isn't your family yeah Hope how come they never come don't tell me they found out about how much of a disappointment you are and left you not that I could blame them of course' You two fucking broke her who the hell says that to someone" "Josette Olivia Saltzman and Penelope Park we will have a very serious discussion later and after that discussion you will apologize to Hope but you will not talk to Hope before our discussion now all of you out of my office now" Caroline says "Yes ma'am/mom/Ms Forbes" All finally leaving 1 upset and 2 feeling extremely guilty.

"What did Hope tell you exactly" Josie asks quietly ashamed of herself with Penelope right next to her also looking ashamed but it is one thing to look it and another to feel it "Are you denying that you said that" Lizzie asks them "No we did say that but how did it effect her if you saw her" Penelope asks wanting to know how bad they affected the girl to apologize and make up for it. Even if Hope didn't forgive them she still deserved an apology and so much more "It fucking hurt her she already thought her family didn't fully love her and that they blamed her for her mom, dads, and uncles death also I'm not going to be in our room for a while" Lizzie says "Why?" Josie asks they where rarely ever apart and they told eachother almost everything if not everything and right now she could really use some twin cuddles with how bad she feels so she can only imagine how Hope must feel "Because I never knew my sister could tell some what you told Hope or that Penelope could go that far and yet you both did and I can't, I just can't see you whenever" Lizzie tells them sounding disappointed and both not even saying anything back just now realizing how much they did and could have hurt Hope. However there is one good thing that come out of this a plan called 'How to make Hope Mikaelson not hate you'-by Penny and JoJo.

"Hello everyone I have news about Hope" Caroline says when everyone finally answers her face time "Ag yes my favorite niece, how is she?" Kol says "She's your only niece" Marcel says "What's with that face Caroline?" Keeling asks "Is Hope ok?" Rebekah asks a second after noticing Caroline's face "A monster didn't hurt her" Caroline says which did not help the family's anxiety "What in the world does that mean" Freya asks "It has been recently brought to my attention today that Hope has been hurting herself and when I say that I mean she grabbed a knife possibly or maybe a razor I'm not sure what she used but she dipped it in a Wolfsbane and vervain solution to hurt herself to where the wounds would last for a little while" Caroline says trying to keep her face emotion but failing "Oh my god"  Freya choked out "Caroline are you saying she's doing that thing" Davina asks sounding stressed "Yes but there's more, you guys need to come she needs her family, She thinks you guys don't love her or that you blame her for Klaus, Hayley's and Elijah's death" Caroline says all of they family gain a hurt and sad expression on there face. All of the blood born Mikaelsons look's destroyed lost and just in so much pain. How could Hope think that family is always and forever they love her and of course the Mikaelsons that got married in are thinking the same thing but they don't feel it as much as the Mikaelsons although Marcel is taking ALMOST as bad as the blood born Mikaelsons as well "We can be there by today" Davina says rubbing Kols back who has his head in his hands "Us as well" Marcel says holding a crushed Rebekah "We can be there today" Keelin says while hugging Freya "Why don't you all come together I think that would be best, no?" Caroline suggest "Ok we'll do that. Caroline watch her for us please" Marcel asks pain evident in his voice "I know I'm sorry this happened when I was watching her. We were going to train and I saw her wounds and- I just- I'm so sorry" Caroline says guilt clear in her voice "It's ok" "It's not your fault" "And if it is your not the only one at fault" "We all are" "We are going to start getting ready" "Us as well" "See you tomorrow Caroline"  they all say it's hard to say who said what.

"Fuck" everyone says or thinks once they get off the call wanting to be there for Hope feeling bad feeling guilty and just unsure of what to do or how to help.

Chapter Text

"I can't believe either of you," Caroline tells Josie and Penelope "I know," Josie tells her mom "We're sorry," Penelope says "Are you or is it because I found out? You know what at this point it doesn't matter I want both of you to apologize to Hope and it better be a good apology because if it's not I swear and you are so lucky that the Mikaelsons ask that I not do anything to you" Caroline says fuming and while she would never hit the girls there are a lot of other punishments she could think of "They said that" Josie asks surprised "Yes well not them they said that Hope wouldn't want me to do that so they don't want me to but that is beside the point I can't have Hope alone in her room and it is a very big room so you and Penelope are going to move in with her for the time being to make sure she is ok and Lizzie is going to be checking on you guys to make sure everything is ok and I want an apology that is provable like a video or a letter or something that Hope can give me to prove that you did and even if you don't. Hope not only won't lie to me she can't lie to me isn't that right Hope" Caroline says the last part turning to the wall "I told you this was a bad idea Lizzie" Hopes voice says "She didn't even know Hope at least not until you started talking" They hear Lizzie's voice and then they see her and Hope "I felt bad ok" Hope say "How but how much did you hear" Caroline asks looking unimpressed Lizzie doesn't say anything so then Caroline looks at Hope and just gives her a look and Hope says "We heard all of it Lizzie wanted to listen so I said yes but I was nervous and I don't think the vervain and wolfsbane have completely worn off I might have gone a little bit overboard" "The fact that you used any at all was overboard" Penelope says "Not to mention the only secided in doing was giving everyone a heart attack" Josie says at the same time as Penelope "PENELOPE, JOSETTE" Lizzie says "WHAT DID I JUST- PENELOPE AND JOSETTE- LIZZIE AND HOPE OUT" Caroline says upset pointing to the door "Yes ma'am sorry" Hope says frowning "I'm not leaving" Lizzie says arms crossed "FINE but Hope darling please leave" Caroline says in a much softer tone "ok" Hope says leaving and closes the door behind her "REALLY" Lizzie says upset "You do realize that is the opposite of apologizing" Caroline say pinching the bridge of her nose "I didn't mean for it to come out it just did ok" Josie says "I didn't mean it like that I meant that she shouldn't have used it" Penelope say "Whatever but I expect that apology also since today is a Monday and we just found out you both are excused from classes to move into your new dorm room and I better not hear that you guys are being rude or mean to Hope from Lizzie" Caroline says "And trust me if you are before I even tell mom you'll be in trouble" Lizzie says arms crossed "In order for me to feel that Hope is safe I want one of you to go to class while the others stays with hope for the day as long as you don't ignore her and of course not everything you do has to revolve around her, you will be able to walk around campus or even go into mystic falls and on Saturdays and Sundays you both stay with her and you will be doing this for a month also know that Hopes family will be here by the end of the day" Caroline tells them and then continues"Lizzie will be watching you two while you move your stuff into hopes room if you need help ask Lizzie and MAYBE Hope as long as it's nothing big now have a good day and I want the apology by the end of the week bye girls" "Bye ma'am" Penelope says "Bye mom" Josie says "Bye mommy" Lizzie says

"Lizzie-" Josie tries only to get interrupted by Lizzie who says "Go get your stuff and when you get it come to Hope's room, I'll be there making sure you two behave" After telling them that Lizzie leaves "We messed up" Penelope tells Josie running her hand through her hair and shaking her head "Definitely how can we apologize" Josie asks Penelope looking guilty  "I don't know Jo" Penelope says quietly "Ok one problem at a time first we have to get your stuff then my stuff then we have to put our stuff in hopes room then" Josie says trying to do small things that needed to be done then she says the harder part that needs to be done and is also the most important part "Apologize to Hope but not our official one just so that she can know we do feel some remorse and then we relax try to get to know Hope and then we figure out how to make our apology apology" "So looks like we are gonna be busy" Penelope says "Your room or my room first" Josie asks "Mine of course" Penelope says as if it was the only choice "Why did I even ask" Josie asks shaking her head a small smile on her lips "Who knows Jo who knows" Penelope says while walking to her room with Josie "Shut up" Josie says smiling they had a long way to go and a lot to make up for they knew that but they were gonna try their best.

"Hey Hope me and Pen want to start by saying-" Josie starts telling Hope only to get interrupted by an annoyed Lizzie "Ahem back up please she doesn't even want you here who knows why mom put you two here instead of me but she did sooo what that means Hope is going to tell you where you can put your stuff and your going to listen and then your going to be quiet and not bother her" While Hope didn't show it she was happy Lizzie intervened Hope didn't like that they had found out about her self harm but she couldn't do anything about that and she wasn't going to show that she didn't really like that they were there so having Lizzie here was good they would listen to Lizzie Hope doubts they would listen to her "Ok" They both say dryly Josie with her jaw clenched and Penelope sucking her teeth "Where can we put our cloths Hope" Penelope asks turning to Hope her face softening "Oh yeah you can hang the here I made this space for your guys' cloths also there are these drawers I reorganized so you guys could have more room and" Hope says smiling a little. While Hope might not want them there they were here so why not try to be nice and polite either way they probably weren't gonna leave "Hope stop fraternizing with the enemy" Lizzie tells glaring at Josie and Penelope and refusing to take her eyes off them while Hope didn't show her discomfort Lizzie knew and she knew Hope wouldn't do anything about it "Right sorry but yeah you can put them there or there" Hope says pointing to the drawers "Thank you Hope" Penelope replies smiling "Thanks but you didn't have to reorganize for us" Josie adds happy Hope did this but unsure of why she would after how they treated her 'Why was Hope smiling at them after how they treated her' Josie couldn't help but think and Penelope was thinking something similar to that as well Hope didn't want the two girls to dislike her anymore hoping they could just pretend to like her and she would pretend to trust them 'That's all this is... pretend...? Right...? They didn't actually care... d-do they... Hope wasn't sure which is worse... Them not caring... or them actually caring?' Hope decided to not think about that right now "Of course she didn't but she did because she's nice something you two took advantage of" Lizzie cuts in Lizzie knew Hope, Hope could stand up for herself but she didn't at least not when it was Penelope and Josie Lizzie always told Hope she was too good to them and in a way she was right because they treated her terribly now if they treated her well or hell if they even treated her decently that would be a different story but they don't treat her well or decently and Lizzie doubts they will but Lizzie knows that she'll be there for Hope no matter what "This is the restroom I put my toothbrushes here, my skincare, face masks, hair ties, and razors....... Um yeah and then this is the shower and I mean it's a shower so that's pretty self-explanatory" Hope says she seemed happy till she opened the razor drawer and there wasn't any she wasn't surprised but she remembered Josie and Penelope are here and tried to brush it off she just hopes they don't ask her about it she didn't like them being here she didn't want them here she wanted them to leave but they can't and she can't make them well maybe she could but she wouldn't "That's nice" Josie says "One question though where would we be sleeping" Penelope asks Hope stiffens giving Lizzie the perfect  chance to answer and say "On the floor"While Hope liked Lizzie here Hope couldn't fully rely one her even if Hope wanted to so Hope says "Lizzie your gonna be late" Not wanting her to be here when she has to explain to Penelope and Josie the 'interesting' sleep arrangements Caroline would prefer also she did want to talk to Penelope and Josie and she knew she can't rely on Lizzie to deal with them since Lizzie wasn't sharing a dorm with Hope no it was Penelope and Josie who were in Hope's dorm "It's fine I'll just tell Mom" Lizzie says waving her hand as to brush Hope off "Lizzie you are not missing class because of me" Hope tells Lizzie giving her a look that's basically asking 'Are you insane' because Hope hated when Lizzie skipped and unless Hope was on a mission or extremely tired or felt extremely bad she didn't miss not even when she was sick even though Lizzie told her not to and the nurse on those days Penelope and Josie wouldn't tease her.

One time Hope would say that one held her while she threw up while the other had her hair but she probably dreamt or hallucinated that at least that's what she though because it did happen Josie and Penelope had them carried her to the nurse office the nurse gave her some medicine and the Josie and Penelope carried her to her room and when she woke up the shushed her back to sleep they were there with her for the rest of the day she was better the next day and they were there so she assumed she imagined she dreamt the whole thing they were extra mean to her the next day because not even they knew why they helped her but they just felt so bad seeing her like that but they didn't understand why.

"Fine if I find out either of you did anything I swear" Lizzie relents but she of course still has to threaten Josie and Penelope "Bye Lizzie love you sorry about her" Hope says looking at Josie and Penelope after Lizzie leaves "Hope she's my sister I get it" Josie says "And by me dating Josie I was forced to spend an ungodly amount of time with her" Penelope says both Josie and Penelope were smiling they couldn't help but think 'Hope looks cute wait....what let's just pretend that didn't happen I don't like Hope I like Josie/Penelope' they both think "So where would we be sleeping" Josie says trying to forget her thoughts  "Right about that so before I say anything I can totally sleep on the floor it's nice and comfortable and just nice" Hope says blushing and looking away from them a bit sheepishly she would rather not aggravate them they both can be... aggressive Hope knew that "Why would you sleep on the floor" Penelope asks confused "Umm so Ms Forbes currently doesn't trust me like at all she barley even let me keep my razor and even then she gave it to Lizzie so if I want to use it I have to ask her for it not that I'm going to do anything with it. But basically she said that she didn't want me to how do I say this be able to do anything at night so despite that there are sensors and stuff she though it be good that if I woke up you guys would know and what better way to do that then have us share a bed right that's so weird I know which is why if you guys want the bed that's fine or if you want to sleep on the floor I don't mind I just-" Hope rambles before Josie cuts her off "It's fine Hope don't worry about it" "Oh ok" Hope says sighing of relief "So want to play 20 questions" Penelope says wanting to know Hope better so their apology will be meaningful "Umm I guess" Hope says a bit unsure and suspicious she did like Penelope and Josie but she still thought they didn't like her and that they hated her not that she blamed them everything they said about her was right or at least she thought it was right however Penelope and Josie themselves didn't think they were right about Hope and knew that what they said wasn't true but Hope hated herself and believed them but even then she believed all that stuff about herself before they ever started saying it to her "What do you like to do for fun" Josie asks "Well I like to paint it reminds me of my dad oh or shifting to my wolf forms and go on runs my mom used to tell me nothing was better than that" Hope says smiling 'ok so she likes to spend time with her family' Penelope and Josie think they were also trying to figure out how to apologize with this game as well "Big spoon or little spoon" Penelope asks "Hey aren't you and Josie also supposed to answer the question" Hope says because she wasn't going to just be answering if they didn't answer either Hope still didn't trust them but she wasn't going to show them that because in the end she would take it and not say anything "Ughh fine I like to read and write and Josie likes to set things on fire" Penelope says smirking when she says what Josie likes to do Josie was a bit of a pyromaniac but Penelope loved her for it "Rude I like to try new things but usally I like to practice my magic or read" Josie says because Josie would never admit she had a bit of a pyro addiction "Now to answer my own question big spoon obviously" Penelope says flipping her hair and smirking "Excuse you I'm always the big spoon don't believe her Hope" Josie says laughing "Me!? Don't believe Josie" Penelope says laughing "What about you Hope" Josie says after rolling her eyes at Penelope "Big spoon ob- what's with that look" Hope asks because Penelope looked like she was trying really hard not to laugh and Josie was smiling like if she just heard the funniest thing ever "Hope no offense but aren't big spoons supposed to be you know big" People says between laughs "Wow rude" Hope says with fake shock and mock anger "Hope I'm gonna be honest I don't think your a big spoon" Josie says giggling "I am" Hope says smiling "How many times have you been a big spoon" Penelope asks "That's irrelevant" Hope says crossing her arms "How many times have you been a little spoon" "In my defense Lizzie wouldn't let me be big spoon even if I was dying" Hope says and it's true Lizzie wouldn't have let her because Lizzie all ways says Hope is too small to be a big spoon "Well since you've been a little spoon way more than you've been a big spoon that means that you are a little spoon" Penelope says as if it's a hard fact and can't be wrong in anyway and she isn't wrong but still "I hate you" Hope says rolling her eyes and then continuing "My turn ummm why were you guys- actually umm favorite food, mine is beignets" Hope says why ask a question that would be more trouble than it's worse "Mine is cookies I love cookies" Josie says Josie has a pretty big sweet tooth "I don't actually think I have one but there is nothing like a homemade meal not that I can make one" Penelope says see Penelope couldn't cook and neither could Josie Penelope's food never comes out how it's supposed to and Josie's usually ends up burnt or just uneditable "I could make you one" Josie says "No she can't" Penelope says looking at Hope and shaking her head "Really?" Hope asks "Yeah pen has a point I really can't" Josie says she knows she can't cook but that doesn't stop her from trying though Lizzie wished it did "Can you Hope" Penelope asks curiously "Yeah my family taught me how I mostly bake desserts though but I can make rice fish stuff like that" Hope says blushing a bit she didn't think she was that good of a cook Lizzie disagreed completely. It was mostly her aunts who taught her not Rebekah but Davina and Freya and Keelin. Rebekah did try to cook with Hope and... well let's just say Hope turned out to be the better cook and Rebekah is banned from the kitchen "Woah" Josie says surprised mainly because her mom has told her Klaus once tried to cook for her and it didn't go to well and that when Rebekah and her first started dating Rebekah's attempt at cooking was even worse than Klaus so she thought Hope probably couldn't cook either "Teach Josie please" Penelope says pretend begging "She can teach you and you can make it yourself" Josie says to Penelope before looking at Hope and asking "So you make yourself food?" "I could but I'm usually too tired to or just don't want to and I just get what there serving in the kitchen and if I don't like it I just get a bunch of snacks but I do like to cook and I think my food is decent Lizzie always wants to come over when I'm cooking says I'm the best I remember though one time I ran out of chicken broth for my rice and she said that it wasn't made out of love I didn't cook her anything for a week and she never said it again" While Hope didn't cook often she would cook twice a week usually one was lunch and the other was dinner she didn't usually cook breakfast "Wow" Penelope says impressed "No wonder Lizzie always has containers of food she doesn't let me eat" Josie says remembering all the threats she has gotten and reminding Penelope of the threats she also received "Wait really?" Hope asks she knew Lizzie liked her food but she though she shared or at least didn't threaten people to not eat it "Yeah she threatened me one time when she saw me GRAB one I was going to eat it but then I didn't" Josie say's because of course she was going to steal her sisters food that's her sister and that what sisters do they steal eachothers stuff but if they see that their sister has their stuff their gonna fight a little not bad but still it's how sisters are "Ohh she also threatened me but I hadn't even thought about it I had just saw them and she threatened me" Penelope said Penelope didn't steal Lizzie's stuff if she did Penelope thinks she'll end up dead in a ditch even if Josie says Lizzie would never because one she just wouldn't two Lizzie apparently likes Penelope Penelope doesn't believe it but before this whole incident it was true and three Josie wouldn't forgive Lizzie if she did (Lizzie had know about the bullying but she didn't realize how sever it was and how it impacted Hope she would ask Hope and Hope would lie she would ask Josie and Penelope they would also lie) "Wait but Hope do you like cookies" Josie asks she just got an idea for how to apologize "Yeah why" Hope says "Just curious do you know how to make them also what's your favorite kind of cookie" Josie asks curiously "Yeah from the box and from scratch and my favorite is peanut butter cookies" Hope says Hope had always liked peanut butter "Your a witch" Penelope says "Actually I'm a tribrid thank you" Hope says jokingly maybe Penelope and Josie weren't so bad all the time Hope though she still didn't trust them but she felt a bit more comfortable around them "Ok but actually you know how to make them from scratch?" Penelope asks "Yeah that cake cupcakes and beignets also some other stuff to" Hope says she likes to bake dessert the most when she was younger "Woah that's so cool" Josie says smiling "Thanks I could teach you guys sometime if you want" Hope says blushing a little "Please shes hopeless" Penelope says referring to Josie and her cooking abilities "Shut up" Josie says hitting Penelope lightly jokingly "Ms Forbes is calling me to her office but this was really fun and nice thank you" Hope says smiling "Thanks for agreeing to play with us" Penelope says caringly "Bye Hope" Josie says gently.

"I figured out how to apologize" Josie says excitedly after Hope left while it wasn't the best apology gift it was something "How" Penelope asks confused "We bake her cookies" Josie says because cookies were easy to make from the package right? Not even they could mess it up hopefully "Isn't her favorite food beignets" Penelope says not sure why they wouldn't make her beignets instead of cookies "Yes but neither of us are that good so let's try cookies" Josie says holding that combined they could at least make cookies from the package "Ok but when first we need to get the ingredients" Penelope says they had all the ingredients they just needed the package they had the eggs water and vegetable oil in the kitchen "Ohh we should take her outside to like mystic falls" Penelope says smiling "Yes we should" Josie agrees and continues saying "to the mystic grill and we can continue the game definitely what's the time" "3 pm" Penelope responds "Hopes family got here so she's probably going to be with them for the rest of the day so we can familiarize ourself with this room" Josie says they don't exactly know we're everything was yet "We could also write a letter apologizing" Penelope adds cookies were something small so was a letter but what can you do to make up for what they did they don't know but they are going to do their best even if it does start out small "Definitely this is going to be the best apology for Hope" Josie says confidently they were going to do there best to make thing up with Hope "I just hope she likes it" Penelope says quietly nervous "Me too" Josie says just as quietly.

Hope enters Caroline’s office and her whole family is their and she was not ready for it so she put on a fake face smiling and pretend she was "HOPE" Everyone seems to say "Hey-" Hope starts but is immediately cut off by many over lapping voices "We are so sorry" Davina says hugging her "We are never leaving you again" Marcel says practically carrying her "We love you so much Hope" Freya says holding her "As much as you all want to spend time with Hope I, unfortunately, cannot allow you to" Caroline says that get everyone’s attention because no one likes what she said not even Hope "What!?” Everyone seems to say except for Rebekah who instead just says "Caroline…" Upset and wondering what her girlfriend is thinking “You all need time to process this and to process it correctly you will be going with Emma" Caroline tells them she does feel bad but it is necessary "Caroline, Hope-" Freya starts only to be cut off by Carolinewho says "Unfortunately this is mandatory" "Well talk later" Rebekah says to Hope "Have a good day Hope" Kol says "We love you" Freya says "Stay strong" Davina "We are so sorry Hope" Marcel "We love you" Keelin and all of it said it the same way in that sad and defeated tone of voice that showed they didn’t know what to do.

Hope goes into her dorm and is cryin at first Penelope and Josie don’t see her tears "Hey I thought you were going with your family" Penelope says when Hope barges in "Woah what's wrong" Josie says seeing Hope tears Hope practically fell but Penelope caught her and how was gripping onto Penelope as if Penelope was her life line "They know and I just- I don't know- why I- fuck-" Hope says crying and they let her cry and cry hugging her petting her head and rubbing her back while laying in bed until Hope tired herself out and fell asleep from crying "She fell asleep" Josie says seeing Hope eyes closed and how no more tears fell from her eyes before Josie continues saying "I think she's gonna stay asleep for the rest of the day" "Yeah what's something nice we can do. She deserves it" Penelope says playing with Hope’s hair "Staying with her" Josie says looking at Hope lovingly not that Josie or Penelope realizes she was doing it or that Penelope was staring at Hope the same way “Ok we can do that let's turn off the light and go to sleep and tomorrow if she isn't with her family we take her to town but if she is with her family we get the stuff and we write our apology letter" Penelope says bring Hope closer to her and Josie cuddles more into Hope.

Penelope and Josie decided Josie would stay with Hope today and tomorrow would be Penelope and then they would just continue that pattern and Penelope was currently getting ready, Josie was already up, and Hope finally opened her eyes waking up a bit "Morning" Josie says smiling with Hope half way on top of her "Sorry" Hope says blushing Hope had been cuddling into Josie and her head just so happened to between Josie’s boobs very comfy but a tad embarrassing "You’re fine Hope" Josie says brushing it off "Oh ok" Hope says but she was still a bit embarrassed "Where's Penelope?" Hope asks confused as to where the other girl would be "If you want you can call her Penny or Pen and she's getting ready for class it's Tuesday so I'm gonna stay with you today and she'll stay with you tomorrow ok" Josie says looking at Hope softly Hope has never seen Josie like at her like that "Ok" Hope agrees "So what do you want to do" Josie asks they figured they’ll do what Hope wants to do "Sleep" Hope says closing her eyes "it's 8" Josie says laughing slightly "Wake me up at 10" Hope responds "Ok but can we cuddle" Josie asks "Ok I'm big spoon though" Hope says refusing to admit she was a little spoon "Nice try but no, hey you ok" Josie asks seeing Hope frown Hope didn’t want them to see her as weak it didn’t help that they knew and so did her family Hope says "Josie either I'm big spoon or no cuddling" "How about we face each other and hug" Josie says "Ok this is nice" Hope says getting close to Josie and hugging her and having Josie hug her as well she wanted to say bye to Penelope but she was tired "Just relax" Josie says rubbing her back "Good night..." Hope says falling asleep "Good night Hope....Love you" Josie says kissing Hope’s forehead "I'm heading out bye babe love you, love you Hope" Penelope says she saw what Josie did and she made sure Josie heard what she said "Bye babe" Josie said they’ll talk about it later.
