   Summary

   A Cold War AU spy story in a mostly early 1960s world.

   In the early 1960s, in the middle of the cold war, CIA agent Theron Shan is sent to Europe - a continent he's never even visited, to team up with a stone cold Russian assassin and an enigmatic British handler in a rare East-West rescue operation. An unknown organization is kidnapping scientists from both the East and the West while the agencies of both sides are in the middle of a mole hunt that is tearing them apart.
   Things are not what they seem and Theron has to decide who he can trust while uncovering the truth.
