Chapter Text
A day like all the others. A day that was supposed to be like all others. No. This one was unexpectedly unfortunate.
Bloodhound awoke in the early morning, the air crisp and cold, they got up and started up their breakfast putting on the kettle and pot, they hadn’t felt particularly hungry today so they went with some oatmeal, a choice they'd almost never consider. But today felt different, today they felt unease set into their stomach, a gut feeling that they shouldn’t go in the games today.
But why? Isn’t it just the same old stuff they’d usually do? Why do they have this awful feeling like something bad was going to happen? They took a deep breath, something was going to happen today. They didn’t know what but they know, whether it was something bad going to happen to them or to someone they knew, after they ate their meal for the morning.
Bloodhound took a deep breath and sighed ‘today will be okay, this feeling is probably nothing’ they start getting ready for the trio match they'd have coming up around 11am a little early for a game but didn't bother them nonetheless, while the teams were selected at random they stood by the dropship waiting to be called into a team.
Wraith, Gibraltar, Revenent
Wattson, Loba, Catalyst
Valkyrie, Seer, Caustic
Bloodhound, Horizon, Fuse
Crypto, Octane, Newcastle
Vantage, Lifeline, Rampart
Mad Maggie, Bangalore, Pathfinder
Mirage, Ash, Ballistic
Bloodhound looked at all the trios and took a deep breath, finally spring their name they quickly turn scanning the area for Walter and Dr. Somers, they quickly found both and headed towards them.
Once they walk over Walter smiled lightly at them, it made bloodhound smile a bit, greeting both they recheck their equipment to make sure nothing is loose or broken, once they are sure enough they sit down and buckle in.
After making sure the buckle was secured they slightly relax, they look around the ship and saw they and Loba are the only ones buckled in, both they and Loba hated heights, and they of course had to be going to Olympus.
All there was left to do was wait until they got close to Olympus, which was a few hours away, and with that they try to relax for the long journey ahead.
They were around halfway to Olympus, Walter decided to plop down beside Bloodhound "ey, Love, how ya holding up?" "As best as I can be ástin mín"
"Mm that's good to hear, love" bloodhound then felt that spike of unease, they'd tensed without realizing it, Walter turned to them with a worried look "ya alright love? You stiffened up like a board just now" bloodhound felt Walter rubbing circles on their back as they finally spoke "I just feel unease by going to the games today... I have no idea why" Walter then said "well, when you get those, they're very accurate Houndy, let's hope it's a fluke for this times sake" bloodhound leans onto fuse falling asleep "mm yes, við skulum vona að allt gangi vel." Bloodhound drifted off into a slumber.
