Chapter Text

Years ago, Ivor and the rest of the Order discovered a child laying in the marshes, sobbing their eyes out, their green onesie dirty and wet. After the falling out, Gabriel became the sole caretaker for Jesse, becoming like an honorary uncle to him and teaching him all that he knew to him.

If that wasn't cool enough, one day he discovered his nephew had powers, four to be exact-three tied to an emotion, the fifth being shapeshifting. 

Nobody, not even the great warrior, could predict that Jesse would end up becoming one of the greatest heroes, slaying the wither storm, traveling to different worlds, and taking down the old builders. It was like there was nothing he and the order couldn't handle as long as they were together........

....Well, there were two issues.....

The first being that the order had gone their separate ways after the adventures were said and done, and seldom visited each other. Jesse felt lonely but managed to stay positive by helping the citizens of Beacontown and being their Hero in Residence while Petra left for champion city, but that was slowly straining the friendship.

what was worse, was his powers were beginning to act up.

Things couldn't get any worse, especially now with Jesse's hand trapped inside the prismarine gauntlet, and was now traveling down a sea temple with a team to save the town from the heckmouth.

”….you doing good, Amigo? You've been awfully quiet" Jack looked over at the hero, who was silent in the hall of the sea temple as the question snapped Jesse back to reality "huh? I was just lost in thought, anyway, how close are we to the structure block?"

Petra was ahead, before looking back to the group, "hey guys I...is Jesse alright?" 

"Jesse's alright, I think the temple's dangers are getting to him is all" Vos looked at the hero, who was heading to the front again.

The group walked past statues, Petra commenting how freaky they looked before they came to alive and chased the group into the room where the structure block was held, it was large with a strange statue between the stairs with strange writing on the wall.

The hero in residence smiled, "This must be the room that holds the structure block!" The warrior lady looked at her travel companion surprised "how do you know that it's here?" he shrugged "I just know it's here somewhere" With that the group began ascending the staircase to locate the item to save Beacontown, as a giant prismarine statue watched the slayer of the Witherstorm climb the stairs with interest through his other form's eyes

"Didn't think I would finally find you, little sprout........"

The scene played how the Admin planned it to be; the team of heroes picked the arrow tower and had the mobs he created attack them, including himself, then he would appear and trying to destroy them.

Finally, the heroes would escape, and he would go to the town, challenging the champion to a fight.......but what pleasantly surprised him, was the sudden freezing of the arrows when they got too close to Jesse.

Those powers were the beginning of something grand!

Switching to his Vos' costume as the giant began making its way to the town, he took down any creepers that could harm Jesse and ruin his chances of unlocking the full power of his abilities.

"Got it!"

Putting the block into the hole, any charged creeper that tried to come up was shredded by the arrows raining down, soon it was over and the Champion in a moment of excitement began dancing while gaining a bit of air with each dance step, earning playful laughter from Petra "you got some moves Jesse."

Jack looked amazed, "So Jesse has these powers that react to his emotions, like if he's afraid, what's scaring him will freeze and joy causes him to float."

"That's right."

"Sweet"

The group went off to Beacontown to celebrate their victory, only to discover that their adventure was far from over.......

"Greetings tiny people....I am the Admin."

The people of Beacon Town covered their ears in pain, even Jesse, the hero in residence felt his ears being strained from the Admin's voice and covered them up, to recover from the loud talking.

"Sorry that was probably loud to your pathetic, tiny ears, I wish to speak with Jesse: The gauntlet bearer" The giant looked directly at the hero, watching to see what he would do, not to his surprise, the hero immediately ratted himself out and told the prismarine freak to leave his town out of it, but it was really hard to what he was saying so the colouss demanded that he and The Gauntlet Bearer meet face to face.

Of course the people, especially Radar were understandably extremely nervous, even when the champion told them that he was going to have a talk with the giant. 

Nel gave some clay to The Gauntlet Bearer so he could make a tower up to the Admin and have a chat with him, then maybe the giant could leave, and things could go back to normal. "Ah, there you are Jesse now we can properly talk to one another. I loved what you did with the Wither Storm, Awesome stuff! OHOHOHO This is going to be perfect!"

Jesse was taken back by this, a giant made out of prisamarine that built the world, was impressed with his work and that he left the gauntlet for the champion to find. "But now, your true test begins......" Suddenly the gate that protected the town was smashed by the giant, immediately the people ran for their lives "Fight me, Little Sprout....unless you want that...." The hero looked towards the remains of the gate "....happening to your town!"

"Enough talk! Let's fight!" 

"YES! Jesse took the bait, excellent! Let's see if your powers are truly becoming spectacular! Wait...."  

"Oh Wait, hold on...." pulling out a large clock, the Admin changed the daytime into night "Fighting in daylight is boring, let's add some DRAMA" he really wanted to the fight to be extra special and just between them, it was ages since he saw Jesse ever since......you know what, that's not important! What is important that this fight was epic, inspired, and.....hey! Where does Jesse think he's going?!

Lukas had just saved Jesse from the jaws of the Admin as Axel, and Olivia came to the duo, escaping the statue for now "Are you ok Jesse?! Mind telling us what's going on?" The hero nodded "Lukas just saved my life and short story, he's the Admin...he like built the world or something"

"ok so what's the plan?" 

"I saw a pattern on the back of the head, I think that's the weak point! Can you guys provide a distraction for me?"

"On it!"

The Admin was getting very angry with these distractions, he just wanted to fight Jesse and see how strong his powers were "JESSE-"

'BOOM!' 

A tnt block was launched in the air and straight into the prismarine giant's face, knocking him back as Oliva smiled "Bullseye Axel, ready another tnt!" Lukas shot an arrow, further annoying "you want Jesse? You'll have to go through us!"

Using Lukas' steed, Jesse managed to get onto the foot of the Admin and get his attention "hey! You want a fight, then let's fight!" he climbed up to the back before a hand could smack him into bloody puddy dough, hiding the champion as he made his climb to the back of the head to finish this giant off for good.

Unfortunately, the giant decided to be rat and step on Ruben's memorial, this caused Jesse to snap and forget the plan: NOBODY DISREPECTS RUBEN'S GRAVE EVER!!! Flying in front of the colouss with glowing eyes in a glare "You're gonna wish you haven't done that Admin......"

With that, the little sprout proceeded to attack the statue relentlessly, chipping off prisamarine crystals off of the Admin while he fought back a little, but it was clear the form was no match for Jesse's fury, before in a fit of rage, he slammed the gauntlet into the weak spot, killing that stone head for good.

"Ah......well done......Jesse......."

After the giant had disappeared, Jesse descended then collapsed to the ground, taking shallow breaths. Lukas immediately ran to his friend's aid, while Axel and Olivia went to go deal with the clock as Petra along with Jack held off the hoard of monsters that kept spawning in along with Stacy "Stay behind me stampy!" 

Radar looked at the duo "any ideas on to use this thing?" the invest nodded "hmmm I bet you turn the clock like this.....Axel can you help?" the demolisher nodded "Absolutely!"

Using their strength, the two turned the clock from night to day, a sight that was most welcome, especially since the zombies and skeletons were burning and all that remained of that prismarine nightmare was the crystals which the people used to rebuild parts of Beacon Town as the former ocelot was coaching Jesse to breathe regularly 

"There.....there you go....just breathe slowly....in and out there you go....."

The group came over to Lukas, who was helping Jesse to his feet "Luckas! What happened?! Did Jesse.....?" The blonde looked and nodded "yeah his powers spiked again, he's going to need a break for a little bit" Petra walked up and helped Lukas hold the exhausted Jesse "These spikes are getting worse! If this keeps up, Jesse could.......die........" 

Olivia looked at clock "We should keep an eye on this thing, I have a feeling that we haven't seen the last of the admin." the group nodded as it was Lukas that was decided to take first of the clock although Radar did have a good idea of running to the others if the clock went missing and it helped the former ocelot keep an eye on the hero in residence recovering from the spike in powers.

Spikes was the most powerful and dangerous power Jesse had obtained during their journey to stop the wither storm from consuming the world.  Whenever his powers spiked, Jesse became invulnerable, no weapon could pierce him,  he could use all four of his standard abilities to a full extent, had super strength, and other sorts of abilities.

However when it ended, the little sprout- I mean the champion would collapse, usually gasping for air. 

It wasn't as bad when they first started appearing, but it gotten worse, to where Jesse needed a breathing coach and also needed someone to watch him closely. 

Jesse was looking at what was Ruben's memorial, he was still reeling from what admin did to it. He loved Ruben and known him since he was a boy and Ruben was a piglet. Now this 'Admin' has ruined the only thing he had left of Ruben, the porkchop had expired and was buried in the memorial "I'm so.....so sorry buddy......you know, I should at least rebuild your monument, it'll be nice to do that for you."

Slowly he got up and went over to the rumble, turning it back into a beautiful resting place for one special pig as Lukas saw Jesse finish up with build "I'm glad you're feeling better, I just can't believe the admin would do this, I mean that's just disrespect."

"It is....."

"Jesse let me ask you something, are you happy? I mean you've done so much for beacon town, but I know that adventure calls to you and it's impossible to ignore........" he walked over to the newly built memorial "look I didn't say that to upset you, it's just that all I want for you to be happy.....that's what little pig wanted for all of us."

"Anyways why not go for a walk? I'll keep an eye on the clock"

The hero nodded and went to check on the repairs of Beacon town, quickly seeing Olivia and Petra in a argument and went in to intervene "hey guys, what's going on?"

"Petra was going leave without tell us!"

"What?

"Well I was working up to tell all of you....slowly......."  Petra looked down in embarrassment, as Jesse was about ask why she was leaving when suddenly he felt a chill in air, as snow began falling down onto the town.

This could only mean thing, The admin wasn't done.

Snowflakes kept falling, as the whole group looked on in confusion, Petra being the first to speak up "how it snowing? This isn't a snow biome." Jesse touched one of snowflakes, the Gauntlet suddenly glowing bright giving Jesse the clue of who was responsible for the winter "The Admin!"

"The one and only!"

In front of the smashed gate, a snowman with misplaced eyes and crooked grin appeared, his bottom was a ice block like he was partially frozen which understandably flabbergasted the order of the stone and the old adventurers "YOU.....You're the Admin?!"

"well that giant prismarine colossus was just a construct, rolled it up for occasion! It was pretty fun during our battle! Figured this form was easier to talk in! Kinda cuddly, don't you think?"

Petra glared "That was your idea of FUN?! Putting innocent lives at risk?!" the snowman nodded "of course, all of the punching, the smashing, the do or die to protect the little people and of course that incredible display of power from little sprout here!" Olivia tried to keep her cool as she put a protective arm in front of the hero in residence "What are you up to Admin?" 

"Got a new challenge for you all"

The Admin waved his sticks, and the clock Lukas was guarding was suddenly vanished as the sound of strays were heard "you hear that? That's diamond wave of doom and destruction coming right for Beacontown.....this town will be trapped in an eternal, snowy night forever plagued by deadly waves of mobs until you recapture that clock....." Jack could barely contain his rage at this snowman freak "Which is WHERE?"

"I'm so glad you asked! It's at the tippy top of my super awesome icy palace of despair!" A lit path appeared leading the group to a surprise, especially for the hero! Oh ho ho ho! He couldn't wait to see more of the sprout's powers "Just follow the lit path, you really can't miss it!"

Axel was the next to speak "Why are you doing this?!" The admin was having a blast with this group questioning "Why? Why? Cause it's fun....." he was rambling away before out of nowhere, Jack pounced on him with his sword, taking his head off.

Ok that was rude.

Snowman's head re grew like it was a hydra "you think you got it all figured out....." with a wave of his stick, strays started spawning in, aimed at the heroes "ah Strays, pesky little consequences of eternal night and the town's new neighbors until you take care of that clock, hehehehe ha ha!"

With that, the snowman freak left to wait for the arrival of little sprout

Jesse held the torch that would be a source of light and warmth, as the group walked along the path, seeing nothing but the snow-covered field, they needed to find that clock, to prevent Beacontown from turning into a frozen wasteland.

Petra came forward to him, not trying to make eye contact with him "uh hey Jesse, can we talk?....." Jack, although missing half of his eyes, could see a very awkward conservation brewing up "oh uh, I'll just.......walk over here....." Lukas, Radar, Vos and Axel followed suit, not wanting to see a nasty fight; leaving Jesse, Olivia, and Petra to talk.

"Alright Petra, what is it?" the invest was still sore from the warrior attempting to sneak off, especially since Jesse was having the equivalent of an asthma attack "Look about that trip with Jack, I promise it isn't anything serious, it's a little trip. A little time away to........find myself." Olivia went from mad and to concerned, as the champion spoke up next "Petra, why didn't you tell us this? Why were you going to leave without even telling us?"

"look I'm sorry this happened this way. I guess was just excited to hanging out with real hardcore adventurers, especially since I was afraid.....you all didn't need me anymore........."

The hero and Olivia looked at their friend, shocked at this "Petra, of course we need you...." the Redstone expert finished the sentence off with an thought-provoking question "why would you think that we didn't need you anymore?"

The others in the group was hearing the whole conversation, though they tried not to, Vos was tuning the whole group out. He didn't want to some petty agreement about purpose, he needed to get Jesse to the ice palace, so he could........

'Llama Noise'

Wait was that?

A white Llama wearing a pink and blue striped scarf walked to the group, straight to Jesse "Luna?"

ok that's weird, why does that Llama have a scarf? What is it doing here?

"Everyone, this is Luna! She's kinda cute and sweet isn't she?"

ok introductions are out of the way can we please go to the ice-

"she is cute isn't she.....Everyone back away from my Llama!"

Are you KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW???

Stella was boasting about herself like usual, going ahead to try to stop the winter wasteland from coating her "perfect" city in snow. But she stopped when Jack, the Iron sword of Moojing lake pointed out that the moon was stuck, it rose before it glitched back down "so you were saying Stella?" suddenly getting cold feet, Stella looked at the group "I said maybe I'll stick around to keep an eye on you Jesse"

After 10 minutes of traveling, the author suddenly looked up and felt his jaw drop "woah......." in front of them was a massive palace of ice, every bit was finely crafted and detailed. Even Stella and Jack were impressed by the sheer prowess of the place.

The snowman was getting ready, he was so excited to finally begin the challenges! In 3........2.........

After being thrown down into a large pit with three paths to follow with minecarts, and Stella was boasting like her self, about how she'll be the Admin's partner. Leaving the group alone to debate on their next course of action. However it was agreed by everyone that someone needs to with Jesse to prevent another spike "and I think I should it be me!"

Petra gestured to herself, but Olivia shook her head "Petra, if we are to prevent Jesse from spiking again, we need someone who can keep him calm especially in the heat of battle! And I don't th-" Lukas spoke up first "I'll go with Jesse, that way I can help Jesse keep a cool head and give the admin a little taste of the order of stone!" 

Ok that's a solid plan......

"And I'll go with too" Radar came forward with a determined look "I know it seems odd of me to volunteer for this bu-but I want to do more Beacontown! Even if it means going into battle to keep Jesse safe." the others were seriously impressed, the nervous fidgety assistant was going to step into the heat of battle to protect the hero in residence from losing control of his powers.

"That's it Lluna darling!"

Everyone looked at Stella, who was in the minecart with her pet Llama "She's got the clock's scent! Later, losers!" she then rode, prompting the others to follow suit: Axel and Olivia went in the middle cart,  Petra, Vos, and Jack in the left cart, and Jesse, Lukas, and Radar in the right cart as the warrior looked at his friend "Just be careful ok?........"

"I will Petra"

With that, the carts drove off to the rooms where the Admin had set up the challenges to see how Jesse handled situations without his powers in use.

In the room with Jesse, Lukas, and Radar, the admin was getting prepared a shooting gallery for the trio although the last person was someone that would never become someone great as Jesse, despite him bringing him here.

Despite this, his main priority was on the little sprout, once he passes the test then he could take Jesse and mold him into the proper admin he was destined to be......ahem now then on with the show but needed to make sure the other two didn't get in the way! Especially with spectacles who was trying not to vomit form the ride.

"I got to say if you're having troubles with the mine carts then you might not like comes next.......Hello again! It's your friendly neighborhood Admin! I see you've chosen the left tunnel for this little challenge. For this well...I hope you're feeling good about your archery, and you'll get a little something at the end, I would tell but where's the fun in that?" the snowman laughed a little, he thought he was sooo funny.

Jesse glared but said nothing, trying to keep his anger from boiling and his powers from freaking out "Now, now little sprout, this is what being a hero about, separating the winners from losers! You'll see in time, this how the world works. Once you accept that, then you'll be happier in the long run."

"Now then let's get this game started, Ey?" with that he left, off to babysit Petra's group as Vos.

"JESSE THIS WAY!"

The group minus Stella, Radar, and Vos were running through the hallways of the palace, trying to find and save them. Jesse was right behind them, making sure no one got flanked by any monster that the admin created as they reached a large clearing with the pipes going up "the pipes! Looks like they're going upwards!"

"uh hate to point out the obvious but we can't climb-!" 

'Woosh!'

"oh no....." Jack suddenly started floating after he got hit with a shulker bulled, Jesse and the others followed soon in rapid motion, heading straight for the clock but not before a nasty surprise in the form of icy ender creepers split Jesse from the rest of the others "Guys?!" he looked down to see them, and more of the tall, exploding ice freaks closing in.

"We're alright Jesse, but you need to get to that clock!"

"But what about the rest of you?! I can't just leave you all here to fight those things!"

Lukas looked up "Jesse, we'll get Radar and hold off the monsters, you need to save Beacontown. I promise we'll join you shortly ok?" Jesse had a pained looked but nodded, someone needed to take that clock out! He began making the climb, only for Axel hop up and raced to the clock with him "figured you could use a hand in this!" The little sprout smiled bright, as they neared the clock "thanks Axel."

Down below, Olivia managed to free Radar from the ice that incased "The order of the stone coming to my rescue just like in my dreams~" This was a little concerning "uh Radar.....?"

"Sorry! Sorry! Still groggy from traveling through those pipes."

Though Radar was freed, and the last wave of the ender creepers was gone, the group refused to help Stella due to her conceded personality and managed to mine enough obsidian to reach the ledge where Jesse, with the help in the form of a mighty throw from Axel, managed turned the clock back to day and took it out with his diamond sword. Petra was the first one to run to her pal.

"Alright Jesse! Come on let's get back before...."

'Clap! Clap! Clap!'

Everyone turned around to see Vos clapping "well done, though to be honest you really should've left your friends out of this, but I'm sure you'll understand in time that loser's are supposed to lose, and winner's are supposed to win." when he said this, a chill ran down Jesse's spin and a surge of fear shot through his body "You're n-not Vos, You're......" Jack came up "Vos, friend why are you saying these things?!"

"Oh haven't you figured it out yet, you dolt!" Vos took steps toward as his form changed into a black and red person, with a goatee and flowing hair similar to the old adventure, as the hero in residence managed to calm himself enough "YOU are the Admin!" 

Romeo looked at Jesse immediately "oh you are a smart cookie aren't' you?" Jack fell to his knees, the grief and pain washing over him "Vos.....the whole time??" The Admin groaned "no, not the whole time! The real Vos would have never survived in my sea temple, you nitwit! Anyways, it's funny isn't it? I leave my gauntlet down for a future champion and I end up discovering another admin!" 

The whole group looked shocked as Jesse looked around "Another Admin? But who's the other Admin?" The admin looked at Jesse dead in the eye "It's you of course!"

This sent a ripple of shock through the little sprout, and this caused him to panic, gripping his head and panting "B-but I'm not......I-I couldn't......." 

"But you are, how else do explain your powers? How you managed save Ellard from the tentacle? Or how you're able defeat powerful foes when you spike?"

Jesse tried to find anything to counter his argument but couldn't find anything, it.......it made too much sense, his breathing got faster, as if about to have panic attack before Lukas put his arm on the hero's shoulder, helping him to slow his breathing "Jesse, it'll be ok alright? We'll find a way like we always do, regardless of if you're admin or not!"

"Thanks Lukas......."

"AHEM!"

Bringing out their weapons, the group got ready to fight but with a poof! All their weapons sans Jesse's Gauntlet, had vanished into thin air "You really thought that would work on me? You have seen me right?" Suddenly the whole group began floating up as Romeo looked at the little sprout "l'll drop the whole thing I said earlier if you come with me.....true, you can't be my champion, but you'll be something greater: An Admin! Sure, there are alot of flaws we need work through. But we'll get there....in time.

The Gauntlet turned red as Jesse floated higher up "No, No, N-" Suddenly, The Hero was teleported somewhere far away, leaving behind purple end particles

"JESSE! Where did you take him?!" 

"oh it's not for a for loser worry about where the cool people go, like Jesse!"

Olivia tried diplomacy "L-Listen we can be reasonable about this!" This earned a frustrated groan from Romeo "I'M tired of reasoning with DIFFCULT people like you! I'm going to send you all to a place where you'll never see the light of day.......... ever again!" 

Suddenly the whole group one by one began going down to place hardly anyone has ever escaped before, The Sunshine Institution.

"AAAAAAA-"

After falling down for what felt like a life time, Petra slammed down to the ground and looked around to where the Admin had placed her in: Strange obsidian walls that towered over them, making virtually impossible to see over them, next there was a orange path..........

"Please follow the orange path to the check in area."

That made Petra jump, she looked at where the strange voice came from: A juke box! Likely an automated message for any unlucky souls that got stuck down here by mister redstone "where am I? Where are the other-" the voice rang out again "Please follow the orange path to the check in area." the warrior followed along in a condescending tone "Yeah, yeah. Well maybe I'll get some answers to where the admin put me"

Following the path, there was lava, bedrock, dead plants that littered the area "oh yeah, I bet this place is happy and cheerful" Petra snarked, before a hulking, dark grey, and purple golem suddenly came out of nowhere, startling her "AH!" 

"Not to worry, Henry here is just to make sure guests behave themselves"

Coming out from the behind the golem was the warden, a bald man with a black, purple suit with a golden monocle "Hello there, welcome to the sunshine institution." Petra rolled her eyes "Wow.....really great name choice you have there, I was going to guess 'Death and Despair prison'" 

"Was that sarcasm I heard?"

"What do you think?" 

Shooting a glare at the lady, Warden opened a book and checked though the names "let's see..........ah Petra, here you are. Let's get you accommodated" though she really didn't want to, Petra was forced to the follow the Warden with the golem behind.

"This is the institution where the Admin sends people who are difficult to deal with."

Petra kept an eye out for her friends, while they toured the place "Why are you talking so highly of the admin? He stole my best friend Jesse!"

This stopped the warden in his tracks "Did you just say the admin has Jesse?! OH we need to throw a party for him then!" This enraged the warrior; her best friend was stolen, and that creep wanted to throw a party "WHAT"

"oh! I should tell you why, you see the Admin has been searching for Jesse for a while now, ever since the sprout disappeared when he was only a year old."  Ok, this was new, but there was another issue: why was that slime searching for the hero in residence?  Her questions were stopped when a certain member began knocking out the guards

"Now then, before I go on I need to look for the other guest.....Let's see, has blonde hair, a skill with the bow, and a love of felines."

"that sounds like Lukas"

Suddenly the Golem that was keeping Petra under control was attacked by Lukas, knocking them "Good to see you man!" The ocelot nodded as both of them began escaping into "yeah good see you too, Petra. Any idea what's happening to Jesse?"

"No, but I do know that the Admin had been looking for him, for a long time."

"woah"

"Yeah" 

The two kept running though the maze trying to find the exit, but they all got was hopelessly lost and eventually re caught by the golems...........

Jesse wasn't sure what wasn't up or down while teleporting, finally landing in what appeared to be a small cabin surrounded by flowers, a jungle tree with pumpkins surrounding it, and a small pond with a birch tree in the middle "uh.........where.....?"

The little sprout tried to stand up, but his legs gave out and that didn't help the fact his head was swimming. He just remained laying on the floor even as the Admin had appeared to him. 

"Oh dear, you got teleportation sickness. Here we go..." Using levitation again, Jesse's noddle body rose and remained in place until the dizziness faded "don't worry, once you get the handle on teleportation, the sickness will fade...." Romeo began going into the cabin, the hero in residence having to follow thanks to levitation holding him place "Where am I? What have you done to the others Ad-?"

"Romeo." 

"You can call me Romeo; Admin is what the others will call me, and it's not important for someone like you to worry about where I put those losers" Jesse glared, he hated ANYONE that would dare call his friends 'losers' even if some of them couldn't fight, that didn't mean they weren't a valued member of the team "What do you mean someone like me? Is it because I'm an Admin?"

The admin looked at him "exactly, an Admin shouldn't be held back by people that can't keep up! But I'll save the debate for later, for now let's get you settled in." Once inside,  Jesse was let down and his legs were still from the trip shaky but was able to stand up.

Inside the cabin was four beds: Blue, Green, Red, and Purple, along with designs that reminded the future admin of the tree house he and his friends used to live at before the Wither storm was created, before they became heroes and split up.

"Wow....."

"Pretty amazing isn't Jesse? You know, I'm really glad you found my Gauntlet." Romeo was so sincere; this was shocking to Jesse, he wasn't being cocky or smug or anything like that, the admin.....er Romeo really meant he was happy to see Jesse. 

Suddenly jolting out of the sappy moment, The admin used his powers to change Jesse's clothes into a dark purple trainee outfit with a even darker area that separated the chest and legs "that's better! This outfit you will wear until you learn how to control your powers then once you do, you'll be closer to become a proper admin!"

"Ok?"

"Glad you agree! Now then let's get your lesson ready!" With that Romeo went off to make the area where Jesse would then learn his powers, hopefully his prisoners would behave themselves in the mean time.

Chapter Text

Being thrown into the warden's office wasn't a part of Petra's plan to escape and rescue Jesse, especially when the golden monocle fruit cake had tried to coax her into working with him as associate then threatening Radar's safety over her freedom.

Now she was wearing some stupid uniform and went down to the mush room where a pit of mycelium grew mushrooms once and a while, forcing prisoners to fight for mushrooms to make stew.

"You gonna be ok Radar?" the "reformee" looked at the pencil pusher worried after nearly suffocating in the cobblestone block "yeah, I'll be ok, thanks for looking out for me Petra." Petra nodded and went inside the mush room, where a ripe red mushroom had grown, and prisoners had piled on each other to get, only one of them had grown the sweet mushroom, meaning they would have food.

"Man I can't believe the admin would do this, forcing people to fight for food........"

Radar's stomach suddenly growled, meaning he needed food but there was no way he was going to fight for a single mushroom that he might not get. Looking about, she spotted a guard with cookies, surely he wouldn't mind passing up the cookie but needed to check on the others as well.

Walking about she first got coca beans then talked to Axel and Lukas, both were incredibly worried for Jesse, especially Lukas. Petra told them both that they would rescue Jesse somehow, just like how he would do if any of them were taken and also helped a prisoner with his "painting". Next she talked to Jack, he was going to talk to other prisoners about a way out of the maze, maybe one of them had the know how.   

Eventually after two other prisoners were talked to, one being an angry demon like creature who was clearly hiding something as he had stew and wheat, but still managed to craft a cookie for radar but one of the prisoners tried to attack Petra with a wooden sword, which she defeated no ease thanks to her warrior training. 

"hey what gives?!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I'm just so hungry!" 

Like magic, the warden along with two other golems came in and looked at the guy with the sword "You know the rules, no weapons are allowed in the institution! Where did this come from?" Petra went to take the fall, but the prisoner spoke "it's mine!.......oops....."

"That so? You know what happens when you misbehave, you get sent down a level!" The golems grabbed the poor guy and sent him down to the zombie mines, only a level above the most dreaded level above all.....level X.

Once Petra got praise and gave Radar the cookie, the timid man knew to toughen up since it was prison and they needed rescue Jesse from the Admin's clutches which Petra encouraged, seeing a new side to Radar.

All of sudden, an alarm went off as prisoners ran for their cells "IT'S PRISONER X! PRISONER X HAS ESCAPED!!" A guard came up to Petra "Better get into a cell too, prisoner x has escaped, and you've haven't your training yet."

Chapter Text

After getting dressed into the trainee outfit, Jesse had followed Romeo to a large chamber surrounded by lava. Although the little sprout really didn't want to be with this nut house, he didn't know where he was, and the admin could easily re catch him thanks to teleporting everywhere.

So although it was difficult, Jesse would have to follow Romeo until he was let go or found a way to escape "Alright Romeo, what do you have planned for this training?" 

"oh you're gonna love it! But let's adjust the scene to fit what I'm gonna teach you first" with a flick of a lever, the room changed to platforms hovering over the lava, each platform spaced out from each other as  the hero was regretting his question at once, panting as the boiling lava was practically was but a falling distance away "WOAAAAAAAAAH!"

Romeo made sure the future admin didn't fall to a sudden death, then began the lesson "An admin MUST be to teleport at will, wherever they want to go. What you need to do is make it to each of the platform using your teleport ability!"

Jesse gulped and tried to teleport to the first one, only to miss and fell into the pit of lava, thankfully the admin used his ability to put the hero back onto the first platform.

~Try 3~

Making it to the sixth platform, the sprout took a deep breath and managed to teleport to the seventh, he found it easier to teleport by concentrating on the place where he needed to go.

"Ok...…..Let's get to the eighth......"

He teleported to the edge of the eighth, unfortunately he lost his balance and fell off again, causing a net Romeo made in case he fell again, to prevent severe burns and death. 

~Try 6~

Jesse took a deep breath and began tele hopping from the platforms in a rhythmic fashion, as the Admin grew excited 'Yes! YES!!! This is what I wanted to see, Jesse's starting to get the hang of his teleporting....." 

All the former champion was concentrating on was making it to the end, hitting each of the platforms with somewhat ease. He did lose his footing after beating the course, but it was a start, a real good start! As the Admin clapped at the hero "well done Jesse,  you're rough around edges but nothing weeks of training can't handle."

"WEEKS?! I need to get to find the others now! But I can't just leave!"

The sprout wanted to protest about the weeks of training, but the training lessons were far from over.

It happened so suddenly.

One moment,  Jesse was learning how to levitate, the next moment, a loud sound like a phone ringing was heard causing the poor sprout to fall in the pond. Romeo answered it, very cross at this call disturbing his time with his Nibling.

"WHAT IS IT THIS TIME WARDEN.............what? A prisoner is causing a what?! Can't you handle- OH"

After hanging up, Jesse was picked up from the water "terribly sorry, but I need to head my institution and I can't leave you here all alone so....." 

Chapter Text

After figuring out a plan to find Prisoner X so the group could bust out of this dump and find a way to rescue Jesse along with defeating the Admin. Petra was walking about after the prisoners and associates were told that prisoner X was re captured and it was safe to come out, what the group sent Petra to find anyone acting suspicious so the warden would promote her which would hopefully find X is at.

"Let's see here...…"

She looked, surely someone HAD to be causing trouble, but who? Who would be causing...…hello, what's this? Petra noticed that Oxblood was acting off as he add another bowl of stew "Bingo." After sneaking in and discovering a secret set of levers, she used a trick Olivia taught her to figure out a secret room containing a Moo shroom "lookie what I found...…."

"What are you doing in here?"

She looked at Oxblood, who was mad at the associate for breaking in in his cell and finding Geoffrey, his beloved Moo Shroom that he wanted to keep hidden from anyone that could take him away "I said WHAT are you doing?!"

"I could be asking you the same thing"

Behind the two was the warden along with two golems "Well, Well, a Moo Shroom...….good work Petra...." the golems took Oxblood, Petra, and the Moo Shroom out to demonstrate what happens when you smuggle in a live creature.

Petra was walking to Zombie mines back in her prisoner uniform, she didn't want to shear the Moo Shroom and ended up getting sent down to Zombie mines, the layer above Prisoner X's cell which is what she wanted. Thankfully, the group also got sent down for attacking the guards attempting to get rid of the Mycelium that kept the prisoners fed.

"Don't regret doing it either!"

Jack had an evil grin, before getting a whiff of Rotten flesh "looks like we made it........phew, the smell of rotten flesh is.......*cough!* Strong in here!" 

"Hey guys see that gate right there, I bet that's how we can get to Prisoner X"

"but how do we get into the area and disarm the door?"

"Let me examine it, I bet you it's Redstone circuitry!"

Petra found a hole where oxblood had rammed in his head in and motioned for Olivia to come "Looks like Oxblood revealed our ticket to Prisoner X......."

The inventest looked inside, and looked at where the red dust was powering  "If we could find something that can disrupt the Redstone signal like a lever, then we'll open the gate and have a clearer shot of rescuing Jesse." the warrior nodded, despite being a little mad with each other, they loved their best friend more than they disliked together.

Unfortunately, the only one with materials for a lever was the worst person in existence: Stella, but they needed to get to prisoner X to bust out of this pit.

Before anyone would step into the lion's den, they needed to scope out the whole room for any nasty surprises or unruly prisoners that might be itching for a fight, all they found was a bunch of starving people that could only fed by....rotten flesh harvested by killing zombies.

"If the admin wasn't powerful and we still had our weapons, I'd turn him into confetti...."  Jack growled under his breath, as he and Petra walked to Stella's office in hopes of getting a lever. Jack came with the warrior to ensure that Stella didn't pull any funny business while they were chatting with her. 

"Yeah this is cruelty to the max, forcing inmates to eat disgusting rotting flesh for not following the admin's design" 

Stella looked at the two as they entered "ah Petra, come to be bossed around again or try to beg f-" Jack glared and crossed his arms "Can it, Stella! We aren't for either of those things" 

"We need materials for a lever to disrupt the Redstone signal that's keeping the gate closed, once it's open then we find X to rescue Jesse-"

Stella made the most conceded laugh as she looked at the warrior "Why on earth would I help my rival? I have everything right here! A office that's smells horrible...…far from my city...….Tossed down here while Jesse gets to be with the admin" Petra raised a brow, did she hate the job she was in "Are you sure your happy here? You don't sound happy here."

This learned a look from the conceded woman "What? O-Of course, I'm happy here....,..I have to be happy for the Admin"

"No, you don't! You can be better than he is!" Petra tried to walk forward to appeal to Stella "You need to help us, the Admin is clearly is not going be stopped by ourselves, but maybe-"

"Forget it!" Stella gave the supplies to Petra and Jack and stormed off "We are no longer rivals, no more allies, no more ANYTHING...."

After getting through the gate, the group ran to a large hallway with lava surrounding the whole cell block "ok once we get Prisoner X's help, then we'll be getting ready to bust out of here!"  Guards began trying to catch them, to drag them back to the area.

Lukas and Axel were next to Petra, making sure no one could sneak up on her "We're almost there!" Reaching a room where the lava was pouring down, it was definitely a place that required a keen sense and agility.

"HOLD IT!!"

The whole group froze in place, then floated up to meet the eyes of the Admin. He appeared with Jesse floating behind him, looking at the group "Jesse! Thank heavens you're ok!!" Petra was beaming with excitement, but struggled to move with her body frozen in the air as the Admin summoned the Warden. He was going to dine on a piece of cake when he teleported from the office "Oh, M-Mister Admin sir I-!"

"SAVE IT! I gave you the simplest of tasks: guarding Jesse's little team! What do I see here? The same team is going to enter my despised rival's cell!"

The warden was cowering right as the Admin got right up in his face, his eyes showing pure rage, "D-don't worry sir! We'll have the order restored to the institution-!" Romeo laughed as his once trusted warden floated up to meet the fury: "You think I would trust you after what happened?! For failing me, one too many times, I'm putting you back as a guest!" 

With a quick wave, the Warden went back to being a prisoner and soon the whole place went into chaos!

After locking the former warden away, Romeo turned to the prisoners he held with his powers "As for you all, I think we need have a little fun....." using his powers, the Admin made a large platform and placed Petra onto it with a golden sword "That's more like it, I love duels, to the death ones. Now! For your opponent...." Stella materialized on the opposite side, with a golden sword too. "I don't think I don't believe in fair play."

On cue, Stella and Petra began fighting, sword against sword! Despite being inexperienced, Stella was good with a sword and made the fight intense. Petra won, thanks to years of fighting with Miss Butters disappointing the Admin: "Stella, what was that?! I asked you to finish the job and you failed me too!" 

The former leader of Champion city looked at the powerful being: "Petra's strong for her size.....but is she strong enough to handle this?!" The platform broke into three sections, Petra standing on the right side and Stella stood on the left, soon round two of the fight began. Stella was more difficult to beat this time but Petra managed to do so, thanks to Jack showing her how to use muscle memory.

Despite the loss, Admin applauded Stella, saying he had never seen such ruthlessness: "You didn't care about the dangers. All that you cared about was winning. That's the kind of attitude I see in an Admin."

He looked at Jesse and it looked like a wave of sleepiness had hit him. "I think you need to see what the true purpose of Admin is before you begin your transformation into an admin. But where to do it...." 

Stella had the most evil smile on her face: "How about Jesse's little home, Beacontown?" Jesse's eyes widened with horror: "No! There are innocent people in there, they don't deserve to have to have a part of this!" Romeo patted his nibling's head, while sighing "oh Jesse, don't you see? Once you become an Admin, you'll be able to do whatever you want! Let's go then, we have a lot to teach you before it's time" 

Like in Ice Palace, the admin left the sunshine institution with Jesse but included Stella this time. This left the group to try and break out of prison, but with a new agenda: Protect Beacontown.

"Come on!"

Prisoner X, whose name was Xara, was leading the group to the weapons room. Nurm had to stay behind to prevent the traps from going off, Jack felt guilty about it "It was for the best Jack, I can't disarm traps without my tools.....and plus, now we can bust out of here" Oliva patted the warrior's shoulder, when they got into the room with all the weapons.

Petra grabbed her sword, Miss Butters. Lukas grabbed a twin set of iron axes. Jack grabbed an iron sword with sharp enchantment. Xara got a bow and arrows. Radar grabbed a shield. Oliva grabbed a trident and Axel found a second pair of iron axes. Luna had been saddled up in case they needed to ride on her as Geoffrey and Oxblood came up to the group. 

"I wanted to say thank you for not shearing my Moo shroom, Geoffrey."

"Of course, Oxblood....hey, why do you want to come with us? We're busting out and getting even with the Admin!"

Oxblood smiled and pulled out a netherite sword, impressing the whole group "I get to smash the Admin though...."

"Deal."

The former prisoners were running through the maze, as Xara talked about the four admins: Fred, Romeo, Savannah, and herself.

In the beginning, they controlled the world. They used their powers to shape the world, it was paradise for a little while. Then one day, Savannah died, leaving her child, whom she named "Jesse," in her place. Romeo vowed that when Jesse was of age, he would train him to become an Admin like them, but then the admins fell out.

Fred had prepared for transport, fearing for the year-old's safety. Soon after the fights escalated to murder, the ride escorted the child to safety and Romeo bedrocked the world.

After stripping Xara of her powers and locking her away in the prison. Romeo began to look for his nibling so he could keep his promise that he would train the child.

Petra didn't say a word while Xara explained about the admins. Jesse is the son of an Admin, and Romeo was searching for Jesse so he could train him. 

The explanations were halted when the cries of a monstrous ghast cried out "What was that?" Three-headed ghast the size of a mountain rose up from the center, its haunting cries echoing through the maze.

Xara, Axel, Oliva, and Petra stepped in front of the group, "HEY UGLY! YOU WANNA FIGHT?! THEN WE WILL GIVE YOU ONE!!"

The fight was an epic one, the ghast throwing fire balls left and right. Axel and Oliva got some good hits in but deflected the fire balls. Xara got the most hits but she has been hit three times. Petra dodged the most and got to do the killing blow. 

Once the ghast had died, the whole group ran to a tower which went down below the bedrock. Though they were skeptical of going, the whole went below their world...

It's intermission time! 

Cartoony versions of the ones in this fan fic sans Jesse appear as part of the intermission.

Go grab yourself a snack at the concession stand!

Petra and Lukas ran to the stand, racing each other. But Admin gets their first: Snacks ranging from delicious hot dogs, warm pizza, crunchy popcorn, juicy hamburgers, cheesy nachos, sweet candy, and many more! Plus, there's an assortment of drinks to choose from. 

Now please keep the rules of the theater the same as before!

Chapter Text

The entire group made their way down the stairs, going below the bedrock for the first time.

Jack still didn't trust Xara's words, since an admin killed his best friends and impersonated one of them. "We're here" Xara looked, and to everyone's amazement and shock, a whole world stretched for miles and miles. 

"Woah, I can't believe this. This world was below us the whole time......" Petra stood in awe with the others. But the former admin looked sad, the painful memories resurfacing that were buried down in her head.  "This room is where it happened, where I lost my powers and Romeo killed Fred. He bedrocked this world, bedrocked our world! He locked me in that prison to rot."

Radar looked shocked: "This world held the four admins? But then how do we-?" The tower began shaking with a large Enderman teleporting in and taking the tower down. Petra went to the group: "We need to get out of the tower before that Enderman spots us! Where is the nearest safest spot?" Xara motioned everyone to follow her down the stairs. Luna not wasting anytime went down with her first, with Jack being last.

The group made it to where minecarts are, getting inside each of them: "This'll take us to the oasis." Lukas looked out to the horizon, "Hang in there, Jesse, we're coming to save you....."

Before the cry of the Endergiant could get closer Oliva flipped the button, propelling the carts forward "Hang on everyone!"  Radar didn't know why, he gave a glance at the giant Enderman causing it to get mad and chase after the former prisoners.

"Who looked at the Enderman?!"

"I did, it's eyes are..." Radar shook his head out of the trance, screaming as it got closer. "Ok Radar, for future reference: Endermen hate someone looking at them! Try to avoid looking at them!" Jack swung his iron sword at the thing when it got too close. 

Traveling through the First World, they saw a shell of a once great world. Fortunately, the group managed to lose the Enderman at the oasis's gate, getting off the carts. Xara looked at the place with pride "Here is my area: The Oasis! A self sustaining automated farm." Axel looked around the desolate area "Where are the people?"

"The Oasis doesn't need people to support it....." The former admin dropped to her knees at what happened to her home: it now lay in ruins. "No, this wasn't how I left it, what did Romeo do?! Wait! It must still be here!" Xara ran off, as Lukas went to a sulking Jack, with Luna by his side "Hey Jack......"

"Hey Amigo"

"You good? I know it's hard to trust Xara, especially since she has an explosive personality."

"It's not just that, Nurm's stuck in prison, and I don't want to lose another friend to an admin......" Lukas patted Jack on the back: "Don't worry, we'll get Nurm back and avenge your fallen friends. Plus Luna could use some company right now."

Jack smirked "You know what? You're right, I need to focus on helping you all beat the admin. Thank you Lukas." 

A shout interrupted the tender moment, seeing Xara fuming at a spot where her bed used to be "IT'S NOT HERE! IT'S NOT HERE RAAAAAH!" She picked up a touch, throwing and missing Petra with the silver of her hair.

When the former admin collapsed to the ground, "It's hopeless....." Oliva went to her while Petra kept clear of throwing distance: "No, it's not. We can still do this, I know we can!"

"How do you do it? How do you keep going when the odds are against you?"

"To be honest, Jesse taught us that in times of trouble, we need to work together as a team."

"I've always had trouble working with people, it was usually Fred or Savannah that could work with others."

"What's stopping you from trying?" 

Xara didn't speak, she didn't have a good argument to counter that statement. Getting back on her feet, Xara looked at a ruined portal and began working on repairs with Olivia. 

Chapter Text

Some of the prisoners would stay to repair the portal, while others went with Petra to find the Admin's weakness.

This made the ideal plan, provided Radar and the giant Enderman didn't cross paths: "Be safe guys."

Olivia had worries in her voice as Lukas looked at the inventor: "We'll be fine Olivia. Once we find that weapon, we'll be right back and use it to beat Romeo." With a final hug of good luck, the group rode off on the journey to find Admin's supposed weakness in Fred's keep.

"How much time before we reach the Keep?"

Radar felt uneasy, the Enderman could appear. Petra held a map of the world, looking at it: "According to this map, we need to stop in Savannah City before we reach the keep."

Jack had his iron sword ready to fight any monsters. "How do we know that the people in that city would be willing to help?"

"I don't know if they will be, but we can't afford not to try."

The old warrior smiled at Petra, seeing himself back when he was her age. The noise of Giant Enderman snapped the group into hyper focus as Radar tried to hide, as it teleported into view. "SHOOT!" Jack and Petra kept their eyes averted as the beast began tearing apart the railroad. Eventually, it got to the end piece, causing the group to fall to the ground. 

"AAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!

After Ox Blood intimated three scavengers into pulling the group up from falling to their deaths. They all ran to the gates of Savannah City, covered in vines, moss, and cobwebs meaning it hasn't opened in a while. 

"Hello? Is anyone there?"

"Who's there?!"

A man with a dark green shirt and brown pants looked down at the group, his expression was of anger. Lukas walked up and said, "We are the order of stone, our Carts were supposed to stop here on our way to stop the Admin"

"Stop the admin? Ha! The only one that can stop an admin is an admin, now move. No one's allowed to enter or leave this city." 

"But-"

"NO"

Chapter Text

Lukas looked at the group and said, "We need to think of a plan B fast! The longer we wait, the more Jesse and Beacontown are in danger!"

With that, the whole group began thinking of anything that could get them into the city and get to the keep.

The group was so deep in their thoughts; they did not see the prisoner walking, noticing a strange bush. Removing it revealed a hidden hole, the cobwebs and vines littering the system: "Hey! I found something!" Jack was the first to come over to the hole, his curiosity turning into excitement: "This is quite the find! I bet we can sneak under the city, then get to the rail system without having to deal with the citizens." 

Petra came up with two more members: "Looks dark, I'm going to make some torches so we can navigate it better."

With a nod, the whole group entered the dark tunnel, aiming to find the rail system and get to Fred's Keep.

"We can't keep doing this!"

A tan lady with dark chocolate hair argued with the guard who wouldn't let the group: "No one goes beyond the walls! They are what keeps us safe from the world, Ailean!"

Ailean groaned, "And then what? Continue living in fear of the world?  Jonah, I'm not going to waste my life by hiding!" 

"Be rational! We don't know what's out there! Here, we have everything!"

"Everything except one thing!" 

"What would that be?" 

"Freedom!"

Jonah groaned before seeing a brief glimpse of the torch in a tunnel long forgotten: "Stop!" he began chasing in the light's general direction, the tan woman chasing after him.

"There's a button!" 

Axel had created a barrier in lava to prevent Jonah from throwing them out. The rest were getting minecarts ready to travel, Petra getting a button to launch them out.

Ailean saw the order of stone get ready to head off, they didn't worry about the danger. They only cared about getting to where they needed to be "hm."

"Ok, we got everything set up! Let's go Axel!" 

Axel and everyone else got into their carts and Petra pressed the button, launching the carts off from the city.

Jonah got past the lava by pouring water over it as he watched the carts departing from the power rail: "Don't come back!! Good riddance right Ailean?" He got no response ".....Ailean?"

Turning around, he found the woman completely gone

"AILEAN!"

After escaping from Savannah city, the group made their way to Fred's keep. There they would find the secret to defeating Romeo.

"Hoping that they will be more willing to help than the city did."

Jack used his remaining eye to survey the land when a new voice spoke out: "I have no idea if they will, no one from the other towns went to Fred's keep." Quickly looking around, Aliean popped out from her hiding spot: "Hi there! My name is Aliean!"

"Uh, names Jack"

"Sorry for popping up uninvited but I want to come with you!" 

"I don't know, it's going to be dangerous."

"I know but I want to help! Also, it'll make up for not letting you into the city!" Jack nodded as the group kept traveling forward, onto Fred's keep.

"Briana!" 

A black girl ran up to the leader of Fred's keep and hid behind her: "Strangers are entering the keep we-"

"-Are here to help you all."

Petra finished the sentence as the group came up, earning whispers and distrustful looks from the residents.

But Briana had a calmer expression and walked up to the order: "Hello there, I do apologize for the rude introduction. We've never had visitors to the keep for a while now. I'm Briana, the leader of Fred's keep."

"I'm Petra, we're here to find the weapon that will defeat the admin."

"Defeating the Admin? I don't know about that, but you are welcome to stay. We're hosting a trivia contest about our admin, Fred, and the prize is staying a night at his house."

"Why can't we go in now?" 

 "When Fred left to face the other admins, I was left in charge of the keep. I hoped that he would come back but he......" Briana cried a bit.

Lukas was selected to compete in the quiz.

While he walked around the keep, he learned about Fred; he had a pet chicken named Waffles, his favorite color was Lapis Blue, he used a diamond hoe, and he was very close to Savannah, and vice versa.

During his learning about Fred, Lukas even learned about The Admins: they were once normal people before they attained their powers. Savannah was the last to get her powers and she was the closest to the people and fell in love with one of them. 

"It's time for the Triva showdown!" 

Taking a deep breath, the author and an old player came up to Biacana: "Hello Fred's Keep. Welcome to Fred's trivia! Now the rules are simple: I will point to someone to answer a question, if they get the question right, they get a point. If they get it wrong, the point goes to the other contestant. The one with the most points wins to spend a night in Fred's keep." 

"You might as well give up, because no one knows Fred like me!"

"We'll see."

The contest started off with a build off.

Lukas got clay and The know it all got wool, despite the author making an accurate look for the admin, they both got a point. 

Then came the questions. 

Though the old man got some questions right, the author ultimately won by getting two questions right: Fred's favorite wood and who was his nibbling. The former Ocelot was tempted to gloat in the face of the old man's face, but he chose to be nicer by giving him the pajamas.

After the leader left, Lukas got up from bed and began searching around the keep for the weapon.

He needed to find something to save Jesse. 15 minutes passed, and the former Ocelot found a secret room within the keep. It had a map of the first world and a journal in it where Fred wrote where the weapon was and lamented how the admins were drifting apart.

"It's getting unsafe for Jesse to stay in this world. If the worst happens, I've placed a command block underneath the crib and put a special code in it. When activated, it will teleport our nibbling to a new world, one where he'll be safe. Now I can only hope......."

"Hope that whatever happens, Jesse will be able to live a normal life"

Lukas felt a little bit of sadness when he finished the sentence. All Fred wanted was to see his nibbling safe from the falling out.

After heading back up, the ocelot saw Biancana open the door before spotting him: "Hey, did you find what you were looking for?" 

"Yeah, according to the book, the compass points to the weapon that'll defeat Romeo."

"Look, I believe that you can defeat Romeo but..."

"I get it, Fred entrusted you with running the keep. But if we can find that weapon, then we'll have a chance to stop the Admin from doing more harm." 

"Alright. But one condition: You help us find a way to the surface."

"Of course, Xara and some of the team are rebuilding the portal. Once we have the weapon, we'll light a firework to signal it's ready."

Biacanca nodded, handing over the compass. It would take some time to convince the others to go outside of the keep, but she wanted her people to have a chance to see the sky again. 

"I'm trusting you" 

"You have my word."

After the group got resupplied, Jack and a few members decided to stay in the Keep.

They wanted to help Bicancia convince the residents to head out of the Keep and towards the Oasis when the group launched the fireworks. Axel, Lluna, Aliean, Oxblood, Radar, Lukas, and Petra went to Romeosburg to continue the search for the weapon.

Aliean wasn't able to use a weapon like the others, but she knew this world better than the rest of them. So she was appointed as navigator of the First World. 

"Jesse, hold on, OK? We're coming."

Lukas looked towards the horizon, before the cart suddenly dropped into a hole, followed by the others falling in too. The demo man groaned, looking at the hole that dropped them: "Where did this hole come from? Was this always here, Aliean?"

The tan woman got up and shook her head: "I don't remember this ever being here before.....DUCK!!" Everyone ducked as two figures nearly took their heads off, prompting Petra and Lukas to get their weapons out and fight the figures.  

After disarming them, the figures revealed themselves to be Gabriel, who had a black cloak, and Ivor, who was dressed like a ninja. 

"What's going on, Ivor? I thought you and Harper were exploring the worlds. What are you and Gabriel doing here?"

"After Harper and I explored the worlds, I stumbled upon a dojo where a sensi was teaching how to be a ninja! As for what we are doing here, after you disappeared from the ice palace, we decided to head over to Beacon town to investigate."

The warrior continued: "But when we got there, it was overrun by someone who called themselves the admin. We had to disguise ourselves to find out what was going on."

Ivor finished the sentence, "The admin gave us a job: to find and get rid of the order of the stone." The ninja handed over the pendant that they used to track the others down.

Petra smiled before frowning: "How's Jesse?"

"He's not looking good, Romeo said, it's only a matter of time before he begins the transformation."

"Oh no....."

After Radar helps the two craft a lie about how the group escaped, but they kill them in the First World, the group move their carts back onto the tracks and continued their quest towards Romeosburg.

Hopefully, they still had a chance to save Jesse.
