Chapter Text

Hello this is my first fanfic endeavor, I'm open to suggestions and eager to learn from the experienced fanfiction community. Your insights and feedback are not only welcome but crucial as I navigate this new creative space. Let's make this journey together! I'm so excited to start ! I already have a couple ideas of what I'm going to do and chapter 1 will be uploaded soon! If you have any questions or ideas please tell me !

"Damn! Where's all the food Franny needs to eat." "Well Debbie". says mickey "if you contributed to the rent you would have food". Ian *laughs*. "What's so funny yk-" "yeah yeah family this family that". Mickey said."I'm serious debs Mickey's right, you need to start paying your rent". Debbie sighs and walks off.

"Good morning family". "Who the fuck are you again". said mickey. "Heidi". " Oh yeah the one who had my niece at gunpoint what a savior". " The past is the past get over it". "You know what your right lets focus on the future starting with y'all giving us rent". " Oh fuck off ". "Can we all watch out language around franny" Debbie says as she gets her bag. " "Your right babe" as Heidi kisses her cheek

"Alright I'm going to drop off franny"."I'll join" Heidi grabs her keys. Debbie opens the door and slams it. "Why the fuck are you slamming our door" mickey gets up and opens it. "Sandy?!" "No good bitch". Debbie mumbles. "Who's sandy?" Heidi asked. " My no good family abandoner ex girlfriend". " That's hella rich considering how I heard you let your kid be at gunpoint and know your dating the piece of shit"

"Your the piece of shit you abandoned you kid just because you were" "confused". " "It was more than that I was 16!" " I was 15 I didn't abandon her!" " I'm not you Debbie!". "Alright" Ian gets up and takes the kids into another room".

The two continued arguing until finally Ian stops them. "Look can we please solve this as adults come on you said it yourselves, your adults who have children who just so happen to be in the other room wondering why their mommies are fighting." They both mumble under their breath with agreement. "I told mickey we need a place to stay for now I can pay a grand a month". "And when were you going to tell me about this mick".

"Look it's a grand a month they pull their weight, if Miss freeloader not paying it someone will they can sleep in the other spare room". "Fine one condition both of you no fighting , there's kids and if I get a complaint for a neighbor one more time!". Heidi finally spoke up " fine she just better not touch our shit"

"I'm not an actual thief I can say that proudly". " The fuck he just say I'm already getting a migraine". mickey says as he pops open a beer. Just the

LATER THAT DAY...

"Alright everyone me and mickey our going to the store put in your requests". Cigarettes said Heidi. "Here I wrote a list". Debbie hand it to Mickey. " The fuck is this 30 things". Me and Franny and heidi need food" " you must have food money". " Look I'll pay back next week " "fine one condition you come with us , I'm not looking for all this". "Alright fine , Franny grab your coat and shoes". "YAY shopping with Uncle Mickey!". "Look I am the favorite uncle". Ian rolls his eyes". "I'm going to stay here I'm tired". Heidi says as she goes down the hall. " Alright then let's go Ian says. "I'm taking the front seat" Debbie Gladly announces. " Like hell you are this is my car". Our car". corrects Ian. "Ye what he says". Despite his protests mickey ends up in the back with Franny". "Alright buckle up kid." " Hey uncle mickey" Franny says as she buckle's he seat belt. "Ye what's up kid" "are we going to play liquor store robbery" " ye probably when we get back" " ok uncle mickey " she says as she hugs him . Ian looks back and smiles. "The fuck you looking at". AT THE STORE "Alright Franny stay close" Debbie says as she hold her hand. "alright with our combined list I split it in 3 to take less time" Ian says as he hands a paper to Debbie and and mickey. "We meet back here in 20" " come on Franny" debbie grabs a cart and starts heading to the produce section. 20 MINUTES LATER. " Ian I can't find Franny she was holding my hand just 5 minutes ago and I put something in the cart and looked away for just a minute and I swear she was gone!?" "Alright calm down debs maybe she went to go find me or mickey" "or she could've been kidnapped and sold for ransom" debbie cries out. " Debs look" just then mickey comes down the Isle with Franny in hand". "You know it's not responsible to lose a kid in a Walmart right?" "Omg Franny thank God" "look I found uncle mickey ! He was lost ". "I'm pretty sure you were the lost "" one kid I found ya". " I'm so over this let's just pay and leave" says Debbie in a tired tone. At The End Of The Day. "Alright everyone dinners ready!". "Aww aren't you wifey material" mickey comes in and grabs Ian by the weist planting a kiss on his lips. To make sure no drama happened the seating looked like this Debbie and franny on left side of the table in the end. Heidi at the top of the left. Sandy and prince on the right at the top mickey sitting at the very top at the table and Ian at the bottom. "Now that everyone here I think this is the best time to talk about rent." Ian says as he passes down food. "So sandy agreed to a grand a month, I think it's fair that Debbie and Heidi pay that as well". "What that's not fair she only pays one grand we pay two". Debbie tries to reason. "She's one adult kids are free , plus you've been living here since lip sold the house we each got 15 grand". "Fine we'll find a way to pay Heidi says as she chews her food"

The house was empty with only Ian inside. Ian starts texting everyone for the dinner today:

Ian : hey lip what time you tami and Liam coming for dinner.
Lip : I think about 5:30 ish after work.
Ian : Alright sounds good.
Lip : have you talked to mickey about that thing yet?.
Ian : no but honestly I thought we could bring it up at dinner.
Lip : alright well Tami has agreed already if so.
Ian : yeah , thanks.

Ian: what's up Carl what time are you and Tish coming for dinner.
FIVE MINUTES LATER
Carl : um maybe bout 5:40.
Ian : alright perfect.

Ian : hey debs what time will you be here for dinner
Debs : 5:45
Ian : alright thanks
Debs : do I have to pay for dinner?
Ian : 🙄

Ian : hey mick
Mickey : 5:00 Mr Gallagher
Ian : 😂

Ian : hey Sandy you coming to dinner?
Sandy : I'll think I'll pass .
Ian : you sure franny would like to play with prince
Sandy : I guess , do I have to talk to anyone.
Ian : nah don't worry.
Ian : by the way why do have Prince , what about Royale.
Sandy : Royal kicked him out he said " he couldn't handle him anymore".
Ian : sorry , your welcome to stay as much as you need.
Sandy : yeah thanks.

TIME 4:45......
Ian starts getting things out the oven making finishing touches and making 2 more dishes..

Time. 5:59..
Mickey opens the door and comes in with Franny. "Hi uncle Ian" Franny smiles. "Hello Mr Gallagher". Mickey grabs Ian hand and pulls him into a slow kiss."welcome home Mr Milkovich". "I have prepared a nice meal for you". "Hey Franny where's Debbie at?". "I picked Franny up after Debbie called and said she's busy". "Is she still coming to dinner?". "Yeah she said she might be a late though". "Ok franny how about you go watch TV, I have to talk to Uncle mickey". "Okay!" "Alright mickey , me and lip are going to talk to you about something important after dinner". "Is it about the family funds thing because I didn't take any of that shit". "No it's more important than that ". "Alright but I'm not doing any sappy bullshit". TIME 5:29.... While Ian was setting up the table he heard a knock at the door and came to open it. "Hey what's up lip". " Hey what's up man". "Hey Liam , Tami". " Hii" tami comes in and hands Ian a plate of Mac and cheese. "Thank you". " I helped" says Liam proudly. "Why don't you guys take a seat Carl and Tish should be here shortly ". TIME 5:47 Carl lets him self in with tish behind him with the baby. "Woah" everyone says. "What happened to your eye". "Had a hit and run had to chase down the guy" "you want some ice" said Ian reaching in the fridge. "Yeah thanks". "Omg tish she's grown so much since I last saw her". Tami exclaimed looking at treasure. "Yeah we've been trying this new formula". Then tami and Tish began to talk Time 5:50 Just then Debbie Heidi and Sandy and prince walked in. Debbie Heidi and Sandy looked every happy for some reason. And more unexpectedly all sat together. ( For context this is what the table looked like , the kids at the top right end of the table with tami and Tish supervising them, on the left Ian and Mickey , lip , Heidi Debbie and sandy. Surprisingly the dinner went smooth with no drama. Until Heidi spoke up and asked " hey Ian , mickey why is their a crib in our room". Mickey looked a bit surprised that she asked. Ian looked down a bit before saying. " One day we want children". Ian looked at mickey before asking him out in the hall . "You know how we always talked about having a baby". "Yeah what about". "I see it , I see the way you act around Franny". "I told you man I be a shit dad". " Mickey looks down for a second. Ian lifts his chin "well you won't , come on you'll never know unless you give it a try". "Fine , where are we even going to get a baby". That's when tami and lip got up. And they explained everything to Mickey about how Tami was pregnant and how they could adopt the baby. After telling everyone the good news the celebrated with champagne. "You know babies cry a lot I can't deal with that at night" Debbie says sipping her champagne "well obviously the room your in is the babys and your going to get your own apartment". Mickey said sarcastically. "Yeah yeah" After talking and eat and everything everyone went home for the night. And somehow some food was taken

With everything set in place mickey and Ian agreed to join Tami and lip. With their doctors appointments.

"Come on mick we're going to be late". "Do you think this looks right?" Mickey says struggling to tie his laced tie". "It's fine you don't need to get dressed up we're going to an Appointment". "On who the doctor". "The baby". "It's in the womb" Ian says with a chuckle. "I know that but still". "Well I think you look handsome and delicious". Ian says correcting his tie with a smirk.

In the waiting room.
Lip was talking to tami about something when the nurse comes in and call out.

"For Tami tamietti- Gallagher!"
"Yeah that's us". Lip says helping tami up.
"So to be clear can I know relation".

The nurse looks up at them.

"Well I'm husband Phillip". "My brother and his husband Ian and Mikey". "Alright perfect , please wait her the doctor will be in shortly".

After 5 minutes.

"Where's that damn doctor at we first had to wait A week to make and appointment then had to wait 40 minutes here". "Calm down mickey I'm sure he's/she's busy with another patient".
Ian says holding Mickey's hand to calm him down.

Five minutes later.

"Hello folks sorry I'm running a bit late had an incident with another patient" "yeah it's about time Jesus what are we paying you for". "You don't pay me the state does".
The doctor smiles at mickey which pisses him off even more.
"Alright folks so I see on my charts that tami you have been previously been pregnant and had some complications". "And honestly looking at the chart and what happened previously I advise you to think hard about this abortion is an option but before we get into that let's check your blood pressure and everything".

After the exam
"Alright everything looks perfect and fine , but I still have my doubts , however of everything going smoothly then there should be nothing to worry about.

Tami and Ian sigh in relief. Meanwhile lip caressing tami hand as he hugs her. Mickey looks a bit nervous but that feeling fades away as soon as Ian squeezes his hand a little tighter with love. Mickey also looks relieved but worried at the same time.

"Alright the last thing we should do is the ultrasound".

Ian glanced over at mickey who has a smirk on his face. Ian leans over to mickey and whispers into his ear.

"Mr Gallagher is that a look of excitement that I see".

Ian smiles at mickey. Who smirkes back at him with confidence.

After the ultrasound.

"Why does it look like that". Mickey wrinkles his nos
Tami laughs in return. "Hey this is your baby no going back". She smiles at mickey. Mickey this time can't hid his laughter.

At home.
"You know I think our babys going to be bullied". "Yeah?" Ian takes a long look at the picture. "Well we're going to be there for it ". Just then Ian kisses mickey cheek.

"Are you excited about the baby shower. I know how much you like planning". "Hell yeah!" " It's going to be lit".
Mickey walks over to the fridge and puts the photo on it with a smirk. "Yeah this kid going be mine for sure".

The day before the Baby shower/ gender reveal.

At tamis and lips house..

It was early in the morning about 7am when mickey and Ian arrived to go over the planning one more time.

"Good morning, can I get you guys anything. Tea , coffee beer?"

Tami said as she went into the kitchen.

"Two coffees would be alright, thanks".
Ian said with a smile.

"Alrighty"

Tami sat down with two coffees in her hand as she slowly put them on the coffees table.

"Okay let's go over the guest list".

"Alright perfect".

Tami looks over at the list. Ian looks down at the list for a bit then sighs underneath his breath.

"What are we missing someone?"

Mickey looks up at Ian confused

"Nah just wished Fiona or Monica was here. They would have loved this".

Mickey grabs Ian hands and squeezes it looking away before saying

"I'm sure they are proud of you and what a great dad you'll be".

"You think so?".
" Hell yeah , I already am".

And with that they continued planning.

"Ok quick summary before we're done".

Mickey says looking over the paper

"Well arrive first to add the decorations at 12, the food catering should come at 1. Our guests will start arriving around at 1:45. The cake will be there by 2, and we have already sent the envelope to he bakery. And hopefully it will go off with out a hitch".

"Perfect".

Says Tami as she stretches.

"Oh wait you forgot about the speech".
"What speech".

Says mickey
" You know the speech your going to do about how your so thankful and blah blah blah".

"Shit , I forgot about that hmm we can do it after the cutting of the cake".

"Sounds good to me , you guys can let yourselves out I'm going to take a nap".

Tami tries to get up struggling. Ian helps tami up into her room and shuts the door before saying

"Thanks Tami see you tomorrow".

"Ready?"
"Yep let's go Mr Gallagher".

THE NEXT DAY.

Mickey wakes up and goes into the bathroom.

"Damn I look like shit today". As he rubs his eyes and turn the water on. And with that gets in. Ian wakes up also and sneaks in the bathroom. "Oh Mr Gallagher I did not see you there you wouldn't mind if I was to come in to save water". "Ah of course saving water there's nothing gay about that at all".

Mickey Chuckles and pulls Ian in for a passionate slow kiss.

After dressing

Mickey looked at Ian for a minute.

"Alright. What's wrong with ya".
"Who me?".
" No the wall , who the fuck else".
" nothing I'm good".
"Don't fuck with me Ian".
"I'm not I'm fine".
"Tell me what's wrong ".

" how'd ya know something was wrong".
" I'm your husband I'm always going to know ".
" alright ,well I .. What happens if I have a bipolar break ".
" I'll be there ".
" you think? "
"I know , I was there for Terry , an half ass dad I'll be there for you".

Chapter Text

At the shower/reveal

"You two go put these banners up , yeah thanks". " No not black , pink and blue does this look like a funeral to you".

"Tami says in a sarcastic tone running back and forth

"Okay.. Alright how about you go lay down in the back for 10 minutes while me and Ian take care of things up here and in ten minutes the food will be here too."

"Are you kidding me lip the guest will be here in 20 minutes."

" Yeah a perfect reasonable time to take a nap you want to look well rested before they come right." Ian pitched in

"I guess you're right , but you guys better wake me up five minutes before they arrive.

Tami starts walking off

" She over works herself she wants you guys to have this perfect day.

"Its more of her day than ours she should be comfortable too."

Ian says laying out some trays

"I agree no offense but she's the size of fucking watermelon , that baby's going to have one big ass head no offense."

Mickey chimes in , helping Ian with the trays and laying out utensils.
Ian looks up at mickey.

"you know saying no offense doesn't mean the person doesn't take offense."

"well its the truth even Tami said it herself what can I say she's due in what a month right ."

A KNOCK AT THE DOOR..

"Oh is that the food , oh yeah it should be time".

Lip then stopped what he was doing yo get the door.
Just then FIONA walked to the door.

"hey that's going to be 50 bucks and a hug , I'll have to charge you for the hug though".

"I can't believe you invited Fiona Lip?!"
Ian said smiling so hard it looked like it hurt.

"I didn't though I'm so glad you came , how'd you even find out."

"I got a call from a Mr Gallagher the way he begged about his wife wanting me here how could I refuse".

Fiona said in a amused tone.

" You did that , for me".

Ian looked at mickey smirking.

"Hey how could I let you be all depressed all day now?"

Ian kissed his husband on the cheek before running to Fiona to give her a hug."

"Well it looks like someone missed me ".

"I told you to go just didn't know it be so long before we saw each other again".

" Alright everyone just bcuz the star came which is me let's not get off track, quickly now."

"Fiona's right, Ian go out this food in the trays. Mickey start pouring drinks. Fiona go wake up Tami she's in the back."

"Alright leader Lip I see you."

Fiona says as she laughs and hands the bags over to Ian.

When the guest arrives.

"Fiona!" Says V and Kev

"Girl where have you been , omg haven't seen you in forever!"

"I've been everywhere."

"Ye everywhere except here".

"Hey where are the girls at?!"

"We left them up at Louisville with V's mom".

"Oh yeah you told me about that , how's everything going over there."

"Good we both have good jobs , I'm working for Congress and Kev's working at this good restaurant place , what about you."

"Oh well I think I finally met the one it's been a year and couple months , hell he put a ring on it."

"That's good for you Fi , you deserve it after all done."

"Thanks y'all."

With Ian Mickey and Tami

"Ok I've called the cake company looks like they'll be here in 15 so don't worry have fun you guys have a drink, do double shots for me."

"Hey look you can count on me with those double shots."

Mickey says with a laugh grabbing the bottle.

"Hey look we can both do double shots after the cake and speech were not getting drunk yet."

"Hey don't piss on my parade man."

"Hey look what you did Tami getting my husband drunk."

"Oh shit sorry Ian he's all mine now."

"Alright one shot that's it."

"Fine keep you pants".

WITH FIONA AND DEBBIE

"Fiona hate to admit but you were right about everything running the family hard even harder with a kid."

"Hey Don't forget I was taking care of all of you!"

"Hell ya I can see why you moved , you know me and Heidi are thinking about moving to maybe with you?"

"I don't know debs , don't you want to be close with the family."

"Yeah you're family."

"I guess we can talk about it in the future."

"Yeah can't stay at Ian's and Mickey's place anymore cuz of the baby."

"Alright everyone we'll be doing the cake cutting now please gather around."

Tami called out bringing a white pink and blue cake on the table. It was very beautiful with
Three letters on top TMI to represent Tami , Mickey and Ian.

"Alright which one of you guys wanna cut".

Tami says holding the knife out to them.

"I will im good and cutting things and slicing them."

Ian rolls his eyes at his husband and laughs.

Mickey was shaking a bit as he was cutting which in response made Ian out his hand over
mickey and helped him cut. They finished cutting and pulled out to their surprise a...
Strawberry piece of cake.

"It a girl!?!!"

Tami shouts out and starts clapping and looks at Ian and mickey. Mickey looks like he's on
Tears verge of tears.

"Are you really crying".

Ian says and pulls mickey into his arms into a big hug and kisses his forehead.

Tami smirks at Ian and Ian already knows what's about to happen.

"Speech , speech , speech!"

Soon everyone was chanting for mickey to do a speech". "Alright Alright, I'll be honest I didn't expect anyone of this living in the west side marrying a man and about to have a child. But hey things don't always go the way you expect them and that's ok. Honestly before I say this I better not hear anyone repeat it or I'm tracking you down and murding you, I'm very grateful and love all of you and so thankful you let me in to this family, except you have Rick I don't know how the fuck you got in here but fuc-." "Mick." "Right I won't take you to much time but thank you all". Everyone gets up and starts clapping. And for a minute you can see a tear roll down Fiona's cheek.

After the party

"Hey guys I'm going to lay down in the back you can wake me up in 20."

"Alright that's fine."

Said lip putting chairs up

"Did you just piss on the floor."

Everyone turned around to look at tami when mickey said that.

"Oh shit."

Tami said trying to get her purse with her key , handing them to lip.

"Um ok , Ian mickey can you take Fred and Liam to the hospital we'll meet you there."

"Yep , I gotcha."

Ian said putting down the trays he was holding to find his keys.

Lip helped tami into the car racing down the street.

"Um Fiona you can ride with us , liam get Fred into the car mickey call Debbie and Carl." It took them 15 minutes to get into the hospital, with Lip and Tami "What do you mean you don't have a room open , my girlfriends going into Labor?!" "I'm sorry sir please calm down , a room will be available within the next 20 minutes or so." "Lip calm down it's not even tha-" Just then Tami fainted Lip quickly caught her." "Units we have a code 59050 a pregnant woman is going through labor and has fainted?!!" With Ian Mickey and Fiona. Liam was the first one to speak seeing how nervous everyone was. "Hey Fiona when you thinking about having children". Fiona saw what Liam was trying to do breaking the tension and played along "Hey raising the five of you let's see , lips got himself a kid and a manger at a bike shop , Ian's doing well for himself got a kid coming and is married. Debbie a welder with her on kid works for herself. Carls a badass cop with a kid and soon to be wife. Oh and what about you Liam a manager for a soon to be famous basketball players. Yep I did that maybe one day." Ian sighed thinking * nobody knows except me that Fionas infertile... she was the first one we asked to be a surgote* Fiona smiled at Ian in response he did a Little pitiful smile back.

Tami had been in the ICU for hours and the doctors informed them that they could not give any information on her , lip was a mess and it took a lot for him not want to go get a drink or break into the ICU..

In fact everyone was worried and nervous. Mickey kept pacing around the room mumbling things under his breath. Ian kept worrying if this was a mistake and they should have listened to the doctor and if they were just selfish. Fiona also was fidgeting around as well she tried to keep a strong face in front of everyone which was hard.

Finally after 10 hours a nurse stepped out..

"Gallaghers"

Everyone stood up which made the nurse take a step back.

"Who's Phillip Gallagher".

"Me , I am".

" The baby was born premature , don't worry though she's very strong were going to keep mom and the baby in the NICU till they are healthy enough we estimate about 6 weeks

"When can we see them?"

Lip said looking at the nurse with worry.

" only two at a time you can follow me."

Lip nodded at Fiona , and went to follow the nurse.

WITH LIP, TAMI,FIONA

"Tami!"

Lip rushed over to hug Tami who was in a hospital bed who looked fine!?

"Hey lip no need to worry I'm fine."

"come on we half expected this don't worry about me."

"how can I not worry about you I.. I love you."

"I'm fine I love you too , but seriously I'm fine the baby is fine too she's strong".

" I'm glad to hear that , thought of a name yet I know you wanted to announce it to everyone at once ."

"me and Ian definitely will have you shocked with this one."

Tami said with a smirk.

"All right her name is..

"Alright her name is-"

Just then the nurse came in rolling a incubator with a sleeping baby in it.

"Is this the Gallagher room?"

"Yes."

Tami said in a very chipper voice.

'Here she is."

The nurse rolled the incubator and smiled.

"I'll leave you to it."

"Wait is it possible if I could have my whole family in here."

Tami said anxiety in her throat

"I won't tell if you won't."

Within five minutes a knock came at the door.

"Ye lemme get that."

Fiona got up as she was admiring the baby.

The baby had pink skin and small patches of light brown hair and looked to be around five pounds.

"Hey come in , sit."

As soon as the door opened fred ran up to lil in mubbles that nobody could make out. More waddles because he was still to young.

"Hey buddy, how are ya."

Lip said picking up Freddie and patting his back.

"He just woke up from a nap."

Ian said with an hand full of food , Tami's eyes lit up when she saw it . It was something she specifically asked for right after she gave birth .. sushi.

"Gimme."

She said gesturing to Ian hands.

"Yeah someone needed to step out , someone was very worried."

Mickey was obviously talking about Ian except he was really talking about himself and he couldn't contain his anxiety at that moment when Ian remembered what he promised Tami to bring her.

"Yeah right someone."

Ian said I'm a sarcastic tone unwrapping the food for Tami.

Just then everyone heard a camera click it was Liam ever since Frank died he's been fixated on the fact he needed photos of the family all the time.

"The baby's first photo , hey what's her name by the way."

Liam said looking over at the infant in the incubator.

"Yeah Franny wants to know the babys name!"

"Franny has been squirmy in her seat ever since they got to the hospital, to everyone surprised she was actually pretty calm for the most part.''

"Well.."

Tami looked over at Ian and more so at mickey who looked like he wanted to cry or laugh at the same time.

"Her name is Mikhaila

When Ian first recommended the name to Tami she feel in love with it , mickey on the other hand took a bit to fully accept it , Ian recommend the name because of Mickey's real name Mikhailo which he loved. But mickey on the other hand at first didn't like it because his father named him , eventually with all the convincing and pleading and other stuff he finally agreed and then he almost gave out the name several times.

Everyone started clapping and praising the name until Debbie said this..

"Wait why does that name sound familiar?"

Everyone stared at Debbie for a minute before continuing conversation.

"No I'm serious guys come on."

"Because my name is Mikhailo dumbass".

Debbie stared at them dumbfounded

"I thought you would name her after me?"

"Damn Debbie you really thought we were serious about that

Carl laughed as he was rocking his baby on his shoulder.

"You know in the field they say don't take everything seriously no matter how small , but that definitely doesn't apply to Gallaghers."

Everyone went shocked and quiet for a moment before Ian quickly covered Mickey's mouth before he said something they both would regret. 2 minutes later everyone was back at conversion until.

"Hello I'm sorry everyone but visiting hours are over."

The nurse who has let them in told them

Everyone gave thanks and encouragement to Tami as they walked out till it was just Tami , the baby , Lip and Ian and mickey.

"I love you tams."

"Love you too lip."

Lip kissed the top of her forehead before saying his last good byes and walk out.

Ian was looking at the baby in the incubator in awe , so much he didn't realize tami and mickey were actually hugging.

"Aww."

"Shut up."

Ian gave tami a hug and mickey and Ian gave a final goodbye to both of them before leaving the room.

3AM

A thud was heard as mickey got out of bed , Ian was awake but just assumed that Mickey was getting water or something . It was an hour before mickey came back to bed and this continued for a week until Ian had enough

"Hey where you going."

Ian turned on his side to face mickey.

"Just going for a walk I'll be right back."

Mickey kissed the top of his forehead and softly closed the door not wanting to wake anyone.

Ian couldn't help but get suspicious so the next night when this happened he obviously followed his husband.

Again at exactly 3AM mickey woke up and crept out the room. Ian quickly followed and put his shoes on.

*Where the hell is he going*

About ten minutes away from the house mickey went to a convenience store got a beer and a pack of cigarettes went to the park and sat down on a bench. And something really unexpected happened next he started silently weeping and cursing underneath his breath.

"This is all my fucking fault, I hate this shit."

Ian inched closer and made noise and alerted Mickey.

"Who the fuck is that!"

Mickey quickly got up and wiped his face.

"I got a gun on me?!"

Ian got up and walked towards Mickey sighing.

"What the hell are you doing."

"What am I doing here !? , what are you doing here sneaking around smoking and drinking."

"It doesn't matter let's just go home."

"Yes it does you were just crying , why?"

"I..I don't want to talk about it."

Mickey wasn't someone who easily got emotional and Ian didn't want pry.

"Fine just no sneaking out anymore."

"Fine."

They walked back home and Ian felt this thumping in his chest that he couldn't ignore.

"I'm sorry."

"For what."

"Spying I didn't mean to be all up in your business and integrate you I was just worried.''

"I'm sorry too , I didn't mean to sneak around I just .. felt bad in a way i felt like it was my fault tami and the babys still in the NICU."

Nothing else needed to be said Ian hugged mickey and consoled him till they both fell asleep.

In the morning Ian woke up to the smell of burnt food.

"Ian thank God your husband burning down the kitchen."

"Alright shut the flip up."

Mickey looked over at Franny on her tablet before saying that sentence.Ian quickly took control making breakfast quick within 30 minutes.after about 20 minutes of eating..

"Alright were out Franny has a dentist appointment we will be back by 3pm."

"Bye uncle mickey bye Uncle Ian."

"Bye kid."

Mickey said waving at Franny. It was a Sunday morning and mickey and Ian were off of work

After about ten minutes Mickey spoke up

"How about we go to the mall."

Ian looked up at Mickey with shocked eyes first making breakfast then wanting to go to mall? Mickey noticed this and looked at Ian.

"What?"

"Are you sure your my husband?"

Ian got up checking all around him.

"Are you sick."

He tested his forehead

"Alright fuck you then we don't have to go."

"No no no no no."

Ian laughed at his husband making him smile.

"Go get ready I'll take care of the dishes okay."

"Fine".

Ian smirked to himself how mickey was acting actually listening to him.

11pm

"Hey you ready".

Ian said grabbing his key and a coat.

"Yeah I guess."

Ian walked up to mickey grabbing his collar and placing a kiss on his cheek. Mickey wouldn't admit it but he liked how hot Ian looked in a trench coat.

"Let's go asshole."

Mickey smirked walking out the house.

AT THE MALL..

"Damn why's there so many people."

"It's all mall mickey , you suggested."

"Yeah okay."

"So which store did you want to go into first."

"Idk let's just walk around first."

As they walked around they saw stores opening. Mickey mindless pulled Ian into a baby store.

"Hey look at this."

Mickey held up a newborn onesie that said "A daddys girl". Ian smirked.

"Oh so we're here for baby shopping."

"No! But the baby is going to be here in like what two weeks might as well be prepared."

"Oh alright."

They strolled through the isles grabbing thing and throwing it into the cart mostly mickey though.untill Mickey remember something.

"Oh shit."

"What?"

Ian turned to look at him , mickey who was looking through the store.

"Hello gentlemen is there something I can help you with.

A blond woman who looked to be in her 40s came out wearing a large green shirt and the stores logo printed pants.

"Yeah , were looking for a car seat."

Ian thought in his mind for a moment.

*Oh yeah I forgot about that*

Recently they had saved enough to buy a car , nothing too fancy of course a used Honda that was actually in pretty good shape.

"Oh yes follow me."

"Alright here they are."

Mickey started looking around a bit until he say it..

"Wow how much is this one."

It was a soft pastel and Lolita type of car seat with bows and light blues and pinks.

The woman stuttered a bit looking up.

"I..it's.."

"It's what?"

"400$ plus tax."

Ians jaw dropped in retrospect they saved up 5000$ for the baby but still it was a lot of money.

"Well take it!"

Ian rolled his eyes walking to the cash register with the cart in his hand.

"Thank you please come again."

"We are definitely not coming back ever."

IN THE PARKING LOT

As mickey was putting away the items in the trunk Ian was looking over the receipt.

"Oh fuck."

Mickey looked up and closed the trunk

"What happened."

"Look at how much this cost."

"1000$ damn guess I have to get more savings."

Ian already knew what that meant , rolling his eyes.

"No No and No."

"Oh come on let me spoil the kid"

Ian had to admit spending money on kids wasn't unnatural for mickey , he had a soft spot for them , especially Franny, liam , fred and carls kid. Holidays were the worst. But now his own kid that was something different.

"I even bought something for Franny for after her dentist visit , that place sucks."

Ian chuckled Mickey has a big heart nobody really would know that but him though.

"Fine."

"Come on let's go then."

TWO WEEKS LATER

Debbie started packing up her stuff with anger raging and screaming.

“This is unfair and stupid.”

“Your really making it harder than it has to be you knew that you had to move out eventually.”

Ian said with a sigh.

“It’s still not fair , first you sell the house then you kick me out of yours.”

“Come on Debbie that happened a year ago plus you already have a apartment right.”

“I’ve never had to do anything by myself before and your leaving me alone.”

“Your an adult Debbie it’s time you make your own decisions , hell everyone’s grown up why can’t you!”

“I.. I wish that baby would have died!”

“What.. did you just say..”

“What I said what I said if that baby wasn’t here I would have to move out”.

“Your a selfish brat you always were get out of my house”.

“Fine but don’t ever talk to me again.”

Ian sighed , Debbie quickly packed up here things and left.

Ian started picking up the rest of the belongings of Debbie and sighed.

“Jesus Debbie.”

Just then the door opened and Mickey walked into the room.

“Jesus Christ what happened in here”

“Debbie is what happened in here.”

“ wow.”

“Oh and it doesn’t stop there.”

Ian hesitated before saying

“Hell she even wished the baby died.”

“That’s a lot even for Debbie sometimes your sister is a..”

“ don’t it’s not even worth it.”

“I guess it’s still fucked up though.”

“Come on let’s just get the room arranged we don’t have much time.”

TWO HOURS LATER

“And done.”

Mickey sighed sitting down in the chair.

“Do you wanna get some food?”

“Nah warm me up some noodles I’ll be good.”

Mickey said picking up screwdrivers he used to set the crib up.

“You need real food , you can’t just eat crap all day and expect to be good.”

Mickey pulled a cigarette box from out his pocket and lit it.

“Your gonna smoke that in here.”

“your right, fine.”

“What?”

“What do you mean what your right.”

“Wow this must be the first time you admit I’m right.”

“Don’t get to cocky your right this time, I’ll stop.”

“Where do you wanna eat.”

Lip got a call early in the morning.

“Hello is this Phillip Gallagher.”

“Yeah it is.”

“Hello Mr Gallagher I’m calling from saint Joyce hospital your wife Tami is alright to go though we need to have you come in the hospital and sign some discharge paperwork if that’s alright with you.”

“Yeah that’s perfect me and my family can be there in an hour tops.”

“Alright thank you have a good day.”

Lip quickly hung up the phone and got dressed and went into the living room.

“Hey Liam tami’s getting discharged get ready and call everyone.”

“Alright let me go get Fred up first though.”

“Okay we leave in twenty.”

WITH IAN and MICKEY..

Ian was in the middle of cleaning up when he got a call from Liam.

“Hey what’s up Liam.”

“Good morning tami is getting discharged today come to the hospital we will meet you there.”

“That sound good to me see you.”

Ian hanged up the phone and went to go tell Mickey who was in the other room.

“Hey tami getting discharged get ready.”

“Oh fuck.”

Mickey was hit with Alot of rushing emotions happiness , terror , guilt , excitement.but no matter what Ian Assured Mickey that he was fine
