Chapter Text

Today Redson wished to treat you both with a nice date of course you asked him not to go all out since last time he nearly tried to buy a whole restaurant so you both agreed on a nice little outing.

Though he did think about taking over the weather station again but you were sure to shake that out of his mind so you both went to the markets not for anything specific just for a stroll before you head to the park.

Redson stopped at a small store selling spices inspecting them closely as the owner talked about the quality of them "Hmm what do you think Firefly?" He turned to you holding up a specific spice.

"I think it would go well with the dinner you plan on making this week" Redson smiled and bought the container of the spice and merely teleported it to his room most likely "Precisely! You read my mind" Hooking his arm in yours you both resumed walking though the markets.

"HEY MK ITS REDBOY!" someone yelled from behind you both causing Redson to visibly jump and turn around with a grimace on his face you turned around as well curiously you spot a girl with a green and white jacket and the Noodle boy Redson rants about.

"Can't I go one day without you peasants ruining it" Mei only giggled at Redson's comment while Mk looked between you and Redson then spoke up "Whatcha doin? Who's that?" Causing Redson to scoff.

"This is my partner you Noodle brain! now if you excuse us we will be on our way to enjoy the rest of today without your infuriating presence" Redson turned around and held your hand to guide you both away as Mei yelled something about lovebirds and double date which only made Redson speed up.

"You okay Red?" You gave his hand a small squeeze "Of course I am I'd rather not have that noodle boy and dragon horse girls stupidity rub off on you" It didn't take long for you both to get to the park barely anyone was there other than the few people walking their dogs.

"Well how bout a change of topic you were working on a project this morning before we left" This made Redson smile "Yes I was! I have a new plan to destroy the noddle boy! I've been working on this machine-" it's always a treat to listen to Redson rant about something he's passionate about especially when it's not him screaming about the Noodle boy.

Chapter Text

• At first he's so easy to fluster a few complements and he's already gushing.

• But after while he will get used to your flirts and complements of course they still fluster him and make him all giggly.

• Once you start flirting with him after you get feelings for him there's a slight change on how you flirt it's small but he notices (somehow) and silently questions it especially when you get nervous.

• Might actually flirt back a few times though most of them are what he found on Google.

• It will be back and forth with you two until one of you finally tell each other how you feel it's so bad everyone in Pigsy's Noodles and acutely feel the tension.

• Pigsy's shaking his head everyone has to physically stop Mei from confessing for the both of you Tang is nearly drowning in a bowl of noodles dear God.

• When you two finally get together it's like a weight was lifted off their backs...sorta you two end up sorta like those highschool couples (you two purposely do it as a lil joke).

• Oh and don't worry he still gets flustered when you flirt perhaps you may earn a kiss to get you more flustered.

• He bought one of those flirt tips books too and hides them under his bed Mei found them and made fun of him for it.

Chapter Text

You mostly spent today home it was your day off work but unfortunately your partner still had a lot of work the unfortunate side of being an important public figure but that was a given.

But it was around eleven o'clock when you heard the door unlock a small smile on your lips you stood up and headed to the door to greet the Mayor.

"Good afternoon my dearest!" He always greets with his cheerful tone leaning in he gives you a kiss on the cheek but he had his arm hidden behind his back.

"Afternoon how was work?" He simply chuckled at your question leading you to the kitchen.

"Ah usual as ever my dear but someone has to do the work but that's besides the point I got us a treat~" With that the Mayor proudly places a plastic takeout bag on the table.

Usually takeout was only once a week or even a fortnight due to taking turns in the kitchen you smiled as Mayor prepares some plates while you opened the bag curious about what he got.

"Oh? What's the occasion?"

"I simply felt bad for leaving you on your lonesome perhaps next time you can accompany me? It won't be entertaining but I'd like for us to spend more time together and it would relief some guilt on mine" Mayor pulls you into a side hug leaning his head on your shoulder placing the final plate down.

"Hm well it would be better than staring at the TV all day" Another kiss was planted on your cheek.

"Delightful~" With that Mayor begins putting the food on the plates then throwing out the bag and recycling the containers sitting down across from eachother you helped yourselves while discussing random topics from what each others day wad like to future plans.

Chapter Text

MK:

•He's so excited to have a sibling doesn't matter you guys aren't related he's you brother now.

•Actually wants to train with you he's still learning about shapeshifting in return he teaches you other things he learned.

•Sometimes he shrinks down and when you're shifted into a small animal like a cat he'd ride on your back.

•He wonders if you can shift just one part of you body like he could but doesn't bring it up due to the hand puppy incident.

•You definitely tried to prank him by tuning into a spider and he nearly squished you both of you agreed to never do that again.

MEI:

•Omg the chaos man she would be the lil voice in the back of your head telling you to break the law.

•She wondered if you could turn into a dragon too but you both agreed to test it when you go back to the desert again so you don't destroy half of the city.

•If you struggle with learning to shift her family has a huge library she might be able to find something there or just go straight to her parents and ask.

•Once you were a cat and got taken to the pound by accident and she had to pick you up she joked about you needing a tag or something.

•You are her streams Co host to help make sure her chats are clean and no creeps or rude people are in both of you have a lot of fun streaming and doing playthroughs.

TANG

•He's fanboying man he wonders if you're a certain demon or celestial being but still treats you like his own kid.

•If you also need help this dude has years of research under his sleeves.

•Likes to tell you all sorts of creatures and beings that can shapeshift too maybe even as bedtime stories in his mind he thinks maybe telling you about others techniques would help you figure out what's best for you.

•Will try and bribe you into getting him free noddles maybe you could shift into a small animal and sneak into the kitchen and grab him a bowl hmm?

•He does lecture you about being responsible about using your ability even though he's a little hypocritical he means well.

Chapter Text

It was late in the afternoon You and Mk agreed to hangout at his place and when you showed up to the noodle shop Pigsy told you to just head to his room since he usually just passes out on his bed but when you came in after the fifth knock he wasn't there.

Worried you sent a text asking if everything was okay luckily you got a response in a few minutes 'Heyy bebe so sorry Monkey king extended todays training BUT I will be there soon I promise just make yourself home luv u k see you soon!!!' You couldn't help but laugh a bit and sat down on the end of his bed.

To pass the time you just played a few games on your phone and scrolled through social media finally you can hear some slow footsteps coming up the stairs meaning Mk is home or Pigsy's calling it a day which would never happen at least before 9:30 pm you can hear a small sigh on the other side of the door before Mk opened it and walked in.

"Hey babe so sorry for being late just Monkey king wanted to add a few more 'upgrades' to our training or whatever" Mk groaned and fell face first into his bed his head right Infront of your legs you pet his hair comfortingly "It's okay we can have a movie night later I think you should sleep though"

Mk immediately sat up shook his head "Nononono I promised we could have a movie night I'll catch up on my sleep later" not letting you argue back Mk kicks his shoes off and turned on the TV.

You rolled your eyes and set up the pillows to the other side of the bed so you two could see the TV better while being comfortable you pulled the blanket over both of you as Mk put on the movie you both liked.

It was about halfway into the movie you felt Mk lean his head on your shoulder glancing over you could see his eyes are nearly half closed trying to stay awake slowly you sneak your arm over to tuck the blanket under him and moving his head into a comfortable angle on your shoulder.

Ten more minutes in and now he's completely out like a light you turned the TV off and laid down giving him a quick peck on his forehead and slowly let yourself take a small nap.

Chapter Text

It was a calm day a rarity in metropolis Tang and you took the chance to hangout at Sandy's boat he was gone doing errands but allowed you two to hangout there so now you both were sitting on the couch watching the TV outside on a boat.

"It's good to finally have a second of peacefulness" Tang sighed leaning into your side to snatch up some of your warmth.

"Careful you just might have jinxed it~" a light tease in your voice as you wrapped an arm around him letting him snuggle up.

"Ah well if I did I'm sure the kiddo and Mei will beat whatever it is up" You slowly leaned back laying down with Tang laying in your chest.

"Mmhm well best not to give them more work" Tang laughed a little letting his head lean under your chin letting out a yawn.

"Tired?" You wrapped both arms around him glancing down his only response was a small nod "Take a nap I'll wake you up in an hour or two" not trying to argue it didn't take Tang long to fall asleep especially with the sound of the ocean waves.

You let yourself daydream while shifting a bit to move Tangs glasses off so they don't break while he slept around half an hour you felt a fluffy blanket be placed over the two of you opening your eyes you see Sandy behind the couch giving you a soft smile and a cheeky wink turning to head inside the boat.

With the blanket, the warmth of the sun, the cool breeze, the sound of the waves splashing against the boat and the feeling of your boyfriend in your arms you didn't realize you fell asleep too that was until you woke up to an angry pig staring down at you both.

"So this is where you were? YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP MK WITH DELIVERIES TODAY!!" Pigsy yelled pointing at you startling Tang waking him up he quickly put his glasses back on and looked up at Pigsy.

"Oh I-I uhm I thought it was tomorrow?" Your response seemed to anger Pigsy more his eye visibly twitched he snapped his head to look down at Tang laying on your chest "You! You little freeloader stealing my employee!!" "Oh Piggy can't you let the couple do couples stuff hm? Me and Y/n don't get to relax like this often~" Tang put his finger against Pigsy's lip shushing him while he gets himself comfortable again too angry for words Pigsy grumbled something unheard and stomped over to the other sofa watching the TV too.

You and Tang let out a small victory laugh and he gives you a small kiss under your cheek in which you returned giving him a kiss on the forehead.

Chapter Text

•Won't lie it will take a while for you two to get to this point and you can't blame the man for it.

•He is protective especially if you don't know how to defend yourself he will teach you basics of self defense and if you're interested he'd teach you how to properly fight if you agree it puts him at more ease.

•Enjoys just having a quiet peaceful day with you laying on his chest as you both nap.

•During his meeting with Lbd his heart sank wondering if she had you or you were in any sort of danger.

•A little tease shooting compliments and flirts at you multiple times a day to really get him off guard return the favor and shoot him a few comments and compliments.

•He loves using you to poke fun at Wukong more like a "O yeah well at least I have a partner you got no bitches."

•Loves to drape his cape around you both using it to pull you in a side hug.

•If you gift him anything he's going to keep it no matter how useless they are even birthday cards or Christmas cards he has a special little box for them sometimes he re-reads the little messages you wrote.

•Whenever you two are either sitting on the couch or laying down and he's feeling a bit mischievous he'd use his tail to tickle your sides.

•And yes he'd absolutely surprises you by popping his heart out though a portal but he'd give you hints before he does it maybe there's a small sound you can hear before he pops out.

•You always have a seat reserved for you at the theater whenever he has his shadow show.

Chapter Text

•At first he never paid much attention to you mainly focusing on Mk and his training but after he heard a bunch of stories about you he won't lie he got curious.

•Not long after meeting you he's way more interested now mostly because you threatened him if he hurts Mk or put him in harms way even though he's a Almighty powerful being you didn't care.

•Oh but that wasn't it no no no once you got comfortable around him you started tossing in flirts he was aware you did that with everyone but that doesn't mean it can't catch in off guard but now you and him toss flirts at eachother as a little battle on who can catch the other in the corner.

•But what tops it off is your quick remarks always tossing in a few sarcastic jabs at anyone who annoys you or you're fighting and he's all for it have you heard this guy he loves quips too!

•In all honesty Mk thought you guys were dating way before you actually were so when you both announced it he was confused and shocked it too you two THAT long but he fully supports it he wants you and his mentor to be happy and both of you are happy together.

•While dating you both still do the flirt battle routine but obviously aiming to completely fluster the other it's amazing how you two manage to not make a repeat of the same compliment always shaking it up and making new ones.

•He loves your protective side he's the same way himself but both of you mellow eachother out so the other doesn't go too far and both being protective of eachother Wukong found it pretty funny and doesn't really stop you unless you're about to chew off more than you can handle.

•You both train together it's a normal routine sometimes you have a friendly little sparing session or just play fighting in general of course Wukong holding back to at least give you a chance.

Chapter Text

It was pretty cold tonight the blanket covering you and Mk was barely enough to keep warm the only reason either of you left to get another one was for the body heat that neither wanted to separate from so you both feel asleep clinging together.

But you were woken up by movement next to you then you can hear it hyperventilating sitting up you can see Mk's face twisted into uncomfortably? He's clenching the blanket in his fists his hair disheveled.

Not knowing if you should wake him or not you scoot closer to him you wrap your arm around him to run circles on his back and use another hand to move the hair from his face while whispering comforting words.

It seems to somewhat work he's not hyperventilating but his face is still unsettled you gently moved his head under your chin still rubbing his back in circler motions his hands let go of the blanket opting to hold onto your shirt.

After awhile you feel his head tilt up slightly "Y/n?" You pat his hair with a hum you feel MKs arms wrap around your torso "Sorry I didn't mean to-" you shush him before he finished his apology "There's nothing you need to apologize for its okay do you want to talk about it?"

You feel his head shake "That's okay are you thirsty?" He nodded removing one arm you reach over to the bedside table to grab the water bottle while Mk sat up swiping the sweat from his face and took the bottle skulling it down.

He looks more calm now only slightly troubled "Want to give sleep another try or want to stay up?" Mk thought for a few seconds before he responded "I should try and sleep otherwise I'll sleep in and Pigsy will be pissed" He leaned over you to put the bottle on the table before laying his head on your chest.

You both embrace each other getting yourselves comfortable again just before you let yourselves fall asleep Mk looks up at you "Thanks..." You smile and kiss his forehead.

Chapter Text

Smiling to yourself you set the timer for the oven as you prepared the table for dinner tonight you prepared dinner for you and Wukong he should be arriving later due to training Mk that will give you time to cook the chicken.

Suddenly you hear a few small taps on your window since your apartment is on the fourth floor you already knew who it was even though he's early you walked over to the window and moved the curtains to see the great sage himself laying on his cloud smiling.

“Excuse me I am looking for the beautiful human known as Y/n am I in the right place?” he jokes sitting up his tail swaying deciding to play along you step aside "why yes you are but why is the great sage looking for a meer human hm?" Wukong laughed hopping though the open window his cloud disappearing behind him following you to the kitchen.

"They promised me a tasty meal that I couldn't refuse hehe" He hugs you from behind giving you a small peck on the cheek making you laugh and give one back on his cheek "Well I hope some chicken, vegetables and potatoes are a tasty enough meal for you" You check the timer again still a bit to go.

"I'll eat anything someone as beautiful as you cooks for lil ol me" Wukong smiles nuzzling his face onto the back of your shoulder then looks back at you "hey how about another kiss right here preferably" he used his tail to point at his lips his arms still hugging you.

"Oh alright you sap" you grab his shirt to pull him a bit over your shoulder to reach him and giving him a nice kiss he giggled leaning into it you can imagine him lifting his leg but he broke the kiss and backed up to give you space to move around the kitchen.

"I think you might be a wish granter because you fulfill my wishes" He gives a wink as you laugh "oh that was bad" Wukong gasps at you clutching his hand over his heart pretending to be hurt as he fell to his knees "oh oh you hurt me ah it seems only a satisfying meal can cure it" with that he dramatically lays on the floor.

"Well you still have to wait an hour for that cure" Wukong then immediately sat up "wait an hour?! That's sooo long" you laugh as you walk to the couch "it's your own fault for coming over so early and you're an immortal being an hour is nothing to you" Wukong jumped onto the couch and sat next to you.

"Yeah but not to you though!" He whines flailing his arms while you laugh "well forgive me for not having the power to speed up time" this made Wukong pout for a moment but smile "oh we can watch a movie! Time speeds up when you're having a good time with people you love!" Wukong grabs the Tv remote and turned on the TV "what do you think we should watch?"

"Anything is good....but no movies about you I get enough of you already" laughing Wukong put on something you didn't get to see the title of and leaned back happy with himself the Intro of the movie didn't even start when he pulled the yawning and stretch arm around you trick pulling you into him.

Chapter Text

MK:

Mk asked if you'd sleep over even suggesting it being a date if you wanted so you two are now currently together on his small bed the TV was playing the movie credits long forgotten as you both slept though the whole thing it was okay he already watched that movie three times.

But a small noise woke Mk up he grumbled sitting up to look around and saw you standing up in front of the bed facing the bathroom door you looked wide awake but it sorta felt off "Hey whatcha doing?" He rubbed his eyes and turned off the TV.

"Going to the kitchen" You resumed your walking but you were going to the bathroom Mk had a second of realization and gently grabbed your shoulder and gently maneuvers you to turn around.

"Why don't you go to the kitchen tomorrow hm?" Lucky him you nodded and put yourself back to bed Mk laid next to you making a mental note to tell you in the morning just in case you didn't know you do that.

He was just about to fall back asleep he could hear you start mumbling something he could only pick up a few words like 'clocks' and 'piano tiles' he laughed a little and rubbed your back while you slowly quieted down after just a minute you stopped and turned around to pull him in a hug.

Happily Mk hugged you back he leaned down for a sec to grab the blanket to cover you both he leaned back and you propped your head on his chest Mk smiled and put his chin on top of your head and slowly fell back to sleep.

WUKONG:

It was a bit of a long day for the both of you Wukong had a long day of training with Mk and you had some trouble with your homes plumbing the water had to be shut off for a few days hence Wukong saying you can just stay at his place and slightly offering you to move in.

Letting out a loud yawn Wukong rolled over in his bed arms reached out to hold you but he didn't feel anything he felt around and then opened his eye to see that you weren't in bed he sat up and looked around the room only the little monkeys that joined in on the 'sleepover' where here.

There was a small tap at his feet getting the sage's attention one of the monkeys was pointing to the hallway Wukong gave the little one a pat on the head for the help and headed towards the direction.

And there you were in the middle of opening the door to go outside you didn't even put on shoes "Hey sleepyhead forgot to put on some shoes? Why are you going outside at this time?" Wukong slowly approached you about to give you a hug from behind.

"They took my.." The last part of what you said wasn't even audible Wukong hums "Who took what? Nobody can even get close here well not without me knowing heh!" He slid his way past you to stand Infront of you getting a better look.

You looked half asleep eyes barely open and he even see you wobbling a bit "Took the...I didn't pack my fog yet" You turned halfway now facing the doorframe Wukong put his hand against your forehead just before you walked into it.

"You're sleepwalking let's go put you back to bed" he couldn't help but laugh a little as he slowly led you back to bed helping you avoid stepping on some of the little monkeys sleeping on the floor and pulling the blanket over you then settling himself back down next to you.

"Good thing I got to you before you actually left the house huh" Wukong wrapped his arms around you this way he'd know if you'd get up now.

"...I'm so teasing you when you wake up though"

Chapter Text

"Finally! Todays date day is gonna be the best one yet!" Mei shouts as she parked her motorbike it took your soul to catch up with your body with how much she was speeding "If we don't get arrested..." Mei only giggled as she deactivated both of your helmets and you both hop off the bike.

"Wouldn't be the first time buut anyway let's commence our first arcade date!" Mei pulled you close to take multiple selfies then you both walk Infront of the arcade sign and take a picture Mei posting it on her socials then you both start to actually walk inside "So what games do you wanna play?" She asked shoving her phone back in her pocket.

"Eh why not walk around the place and stop by at whatever we feel like playing? Honestly you and Mk come here more than I have" Mei insisted on paying for both yours and hers passes since shes been a loyal member she gets pretty good discounts.

"True I was gonna bring you with me and him last time but I thought he'd feel bad for third wheeling but thank goodness I didn't since it was a clone and turned all party crazy" Mei shutters thinking back to 'Porty mk.'

You both started wondering the arcade ducking into some games that interested you both there was a motorcycle racing game that Mei immediately dragged you down begging you to race her unfortunately she is well versed in gaming and riding so of course she won but it was still fun then you both jumped into a photo booth taking two photo sessions so you both can keep the photo strips.

"Ooh! A claw machine! Did I tell you I am amazing at claw machines~" Mei strolled over to the machine giving a playful wink "Really? Thought you always tell everyone they're scam" laughing you lean over her shoulder to peak at what kind of prizes are inside it a green bunny caught your eye Mei noticing smirks pulling out some tokens.

"Well I'm infact a champ at scamming scams~ and I'm totally getting you a fluffy friend!" Mei immediately went into ultra claw machine focus mode trying her best to get the right angle obviously doing her best to get the green bunny.

"And just like that ah boom~" with her eyes closed she pushed the button smiling expecting to hear the automated congratulations but unfortunately the claw didn't hold onto the bunny and dropped it causing a game over Mei getting over her shock laughed a bit "Ha obviously just a fluke give me a sec-" and so the cycle of Mei shoving tokens into the machine and her slowly growing annoyance began "You know Mei you don't have to win we can just get a prize from the-" "Never! I'm totally getting you that damn rabbit if it's the last thing I do!" It's almost like you can see a green fire radiating from her.

Finally when it looks like the claw is holding onto the bunny you both watch as it slowly takes it to the flap "I swear if it doesn't get in I'll punch this thing" Mei mumbled her face pressed against the glass "Yeah let's not set off alarms" then the claw let go and the bunny fell through the slot Mei rushed to pull it out and yelled out in victory.

"Yes! I did it! I'm the best girlfriend everrr!!" She held out the stuffed toy to you smiling "Here you go~" it's almost like she didn't want to murder the creator of those machines second ago you take the bunny and kissed her on the cheek.

"Of course you're the best girlfriend the best girlfriend in the world" you can hear Mei let out a small internal squeal pulling you into a hug "okay let's continue this date let playy...Oh oh that game!" You two go off to play nearly all the games the arcade has to offer the both of you agreed to keep away from any more claw machines for a bit.

Chapter Text

"C'mon it will be fun!" Macaque continued to ask the same thing over and over today refusing to accept the rejection.

"No way it would be too unfair" you turn back to face the sink finishing up washing the dishes "okay how about I wear those noise cancelling headphones? They work decently well muffles most noise" with a sigh you put the hand towel down.

"Why do you even want to play hide and seek? Are you that bored? And where are we even going to play it it's not like people casually play hide and seek in the city people would probably think you're a murderer or something" you can't help but laugh to yourself at the last part.

"Uh yeah I'm bored plus it's fun and you have been too busy doing boring stuff and we can play it at the forest near Wukong's temple it's not like the guys always there unless it's training Mk" Macaque shrugs leaning his arm on your shoulder.

"Okay fine" you sighed and smiled a little at Macaque "Ha knew you couldn't say no to me!" Suddenly he grabs your arm and pulls you into his shadow portal without warning.

Suddenly you can feel the ground on your shoes and you can see again it was beginning to get dark the sunset made most of the forest trees a warm orange then Macaque gave you a firm pat on the shoulder.

"Okay since I'm like the best I'm going to give you a bigger headstart about.... fifteen minutes and you just gotta hide for one hour easy" Macaque chuckled seeing you roll your eyes and prepared to put the headphones on.

"But quick tip!" He paused for dramatic effect "I am still faster" you stared at him for a bit "that's not a tip-" Macaque puts the headphones on.

"Count down starts now" without wasting time you booked it into the forest he was right it didn't matter if you ran and hid as far away Macaque could get to the other side of the damn island in seconds so best bet is to hide close by he wouldn't suspect that maybe.

Soon you find a pretty decently tall tree not too big but good enough and you climbed it to the top leaves hiding you from above it was good all you had to do was just put some of your weight on a branch but for extra measure you clinged into the trunk.

After a bit you can hear the faint voice of Macaque calling out "Here I come!" It didn't mean he knew you were close by but it still freaked you out.

It was mostly quiet and dark now you think you hit the twenty minute mark but you couldn't tell you left your phone at home but suddenly footsteps below you caught your attention.

Looking down you see Macaque walking past he was checking a few bushes and behind trees and then continued to walk away it took everything not to move an inch in case even a small leaf made a sound.

It was two minutes after you spotted Macaque when suddenly the tree was shaking and you lost your grip falling down with a small scream but you landed into a firm set of arms.

"Found you~" Macaque smirks drawing out his last word while effortlessly cradling you.

"Give me credit I was hidden for around twenty to thirty minutes best" Macaque chuckled pulling you closer to his chest "Actually I knew where you were at seventeen minutes" Macaque began laughing as he saw your face turned into disbelief to disappointed.

"Are you kidding me!" You playfully punched his shoulder he fell deeper into his laughing fit putting you back down and wipes away a fake tear.

"Sorry but I was being nice-"

"More like being a cocky bastard!"

"...I also purposely went the opposite direction-"

"YOU MOTHERFU-"

•He definitely loves talking about his latest ideas or inventions loves having you near him or sitting on his lap as he talks about it.

Everyone is aware of how easily something's slip over the great sages head but after awhile you two got together he promised he'd always remember every special moment and occasion with you including birthdays.

He had many close calls but never forgetting he went so far to put the date of your birthday on his kitchen fridge, bedroom wall and even a small note on the bathroom mirror it was really sweet but he was bound to forget once.

You received a few birthday calls and texts in the morning from the gang they asked if you could come down to Piggy's Noodles so they could treat you out.

Starring at the text you look over to Wukong who was laying on the couch watching a movie with the little monkeys "Hey you wouldn't mind if I go to Pigsy's for a bit right?" Wukong looked over to you "Uh yeah I don't mind you don't need my permission peaches" he let out a small laugh.

"You want to come with me?" You slightly hoped he'd say yes at least you'd celebrate together "Nah I'm good" he smiled and went back to watch the TV again it's then you realized he forgot but it's okay you didn't want to bother him and it was just another birthday nothing special.

"Okay see you tonight then..." but you gotta admit it still stung a bit.

After you left one of the little monkeys stared at Wukong unimpressed the sage could feel it he looked at the monkey next to him "What?" The monkey only sighed and jumped off the couch and made it's way to the kitchen.

"Well someone's in a bad mood" rolling his eyes Wukong went back to watching the movie after a minute the little monkey jumps back on the couch and shoved a piece of paper in their kings face.

"Hey hey! What's going on with you today what's this?" Wukong takes the paper a read it...it had your birthday written on it and his face immediately fell into disbelief "CRAP" he jumped up from the couch and immediately ran out of the hut and summoned his cloud and speed down the mountain.

He managed to catch up to you halfway down and hugged you "Im so sorry! Im such a jerk peaches I promised not to forget and I did I love you so much happy birthday I'm so-" you hushed him before he continued to apologize again and again you hugged him back.

"It's okay honey! It's not that important-" "Yes it is! You being born should be celebrated! Even all over the world!!" He chipped in and started giving you kisses on the cheek "Okay okay but still it's okay!"

After that Wukong went with you to Pigsy's and insisted on treating you and pampered you the entire day while still slipping in some apologies.

MACAQUE:

Macaque rarely forgets things he always tries to keep even the smallest details in his mind but everyone gets forgetful especially after a extremely busy few days you left earlier today even inviting Macaque to come with but he declined.

He thought he saw a flash of disappointment on your face but you smiled and said okay and left now he's laying in bed eating a banana he grabbed through a portal.

Halfway through the banana he decided to listen in on you he swears he only does it to check up on you so he was surprised to hear a friend of yours tell you happy birthday he immediately paused mid bite when he connected the dots.

"Oh sh*t..." He threw the half eaten fruit out the open window and immediately went to work.

You walked to your front door unlocking it your other hand holding a bag with some presents your friend/family gave you when you heard the click you pushed the door with your foot but let out a small gasp at the sight in front of you.

The living room was decorated with streamers and balloons themed with your favorite colors and Infront of you was Macaque himself kneeling holding out a cake with frosting that said 'Im sorry happy birthday!!' You smiled closing the door and putting down the bag.

"Macaque...thank you and it's okay" he smiled and stood up setting the cake on the table "Still though sorry about this morning should have realized sooner" you gently put your hand on his cheek and gave him a kiss on the nose.

"It's fine but you didn't have to do this" you laugh looking at the decorations "Uh yes I did! What kind of boyfriend would I be hm?" Macaque took your hands and lead you to the couch "Now how bout we light some candles so you can have your birthday wish!"

• Omg he has so many questions.

• If it's a hot day he'd ask if you could make a small pile of snow if you agree he'd have a snowball fight with you.

• If you invited him to your place he's gonna act like he did when he saw Mei's place you will have to supervise him constantly unless you want a priceless artifact broken.

"So when you use your ice powers do you get cold? Can you even feel cold? Can you feel warmth?"

• Thinks of so many fighting duo moves you two can do together.

• During party's she might ask if you could cool her drink for her she won't hesitate to pull the puppy eyes.

• She's a little curious about your family history she won't pry but asks subtlety and drops it if she thinks you're uncomfortable about it.

• If she's watched Frozen she begs for you to make a living snowman unfortunately you'll have to explain why you can't create a sentient living being.

• She has so many winter theme outfits that complements both you can her.

• He holds some respect towards you not only because of you being "a fellow royal" or something like that but you have power and strength.

• Begs no asks for you to join him in his schemes on taking over the world.

• He is a fire demon so I'd think he's never really experienced the feeling of cold so when he around you and your presence cool the entire room he's surprised and curious.

• Often invites you to dinner with his family his mother and father assumed he's courting you (the way that ends is up to you).

•He never questioned your mask and never really asked about it and respected your privacy.

•But after you two started dating he asked but made sure you knew it was optional you could just not answer.

•When you took off your mask to show him he only was a little surprised but brushed it over to comfort you if you seem insecure.

•Won't make you not wear the mask but if you slowly stop wearing it he's so happy for you!

•He doesn't really know much about fashion Mk normally just grabs whatever is closest to him and slap it on or his same normal outfit.

•But Mk loves how passionate you are and is always happy to listen to you ramble on.

•And if you dress up too you best bet he's your hype man and if you want to take a photo of your outfit oh man he just became a professional photographer!

•If you post it too he'll always be in the comments giving you compliments.

•Sometimes he doesn't get some of the fashion show videos you show him he struggles to hold in a laugh sometimes with the more "out there" outfits.

•But if he sees an outfit you tried to recreate he could always say "Well I think you pull it off wayy better!"

•He would love to help you find some clothes that help you recreate the styles you liked since buying the original would probably cost a few limbs.

"Okay break time kid" Macaque put his staff away letting it fade out from its shape returning into the shadows "Wait what? But I can still keep going!" You wiped the sweat from your forehead.

"You can't fight if you've got torn muscles kiddo it's good to try and push limits but not flat out breaking them okay" he ruffles the hair on your head making his way to the bean bag he recently added to the dojo and sat down.

"But didn't you push Mk's limits further than this?" You joined him sitting down in the bean bag next to him your comment makes Macaque frown slightly "That...that was different kid I wasn't trying to train him I was manipulating him just to get back at Wukong I shoulda left him out of our business kid and I'm not here to hurt you like that I'm here to teach you"

You stared at Macaque you knew he didn't apologize to Mk about what he did but you could see he wasn't proud of it maybe if you managed to give him a little push he might apologize to your brother you were about to make a comment but someones ears must have been burning because your phone rang with MKs profile popping up.

Of course you answer the phone and noticed Macaque slightly leaning in you give him a small glare and he holds his hands up in surrender while mouthing 'cant help it' with a roll of your eyes you speak up "Hey Mk what's up?" After a little bit of chatting Mk asked if you'd like to join him with training.

Recently Mk's been trying to teach you basics of self defense Incase he's not around when you're in trouble you still haven't told him you've actually been training with his ex mentor ex enemy but to put him at ease you agreed often holding yourself back least he gets suspicious.

After saying yes and agreed he'll pick you up near the docks you put away your phone and hear Macaque scoff "Pretty sure the kid just wants to show off like his mentor" you rolled your eyes and stood up "Oh so like you too?" Macaque let out a dramatic gasp his hand clenching his chest in fake agony.

Saying your goodbyes you leave the dojo and started your journey to the docks leaving Macaque alone with his thoughts and...he tends to come up with funny little schemes when he's alone with his thoughts with a smirk he opens a portal underneath his feet and dropped in.

MK was already at the dock when you got there he smiled when he spotted you and waved "Hey I'm so happy you said yes!! You'll learn way more from Monkey king since he's like a better teacher than me hehe" Mk laughed rubbing the back of his hair.

"No problem but did you at least make sure to ask Monkey king if I could join? I don't want to drop in out of nowhere" Mk took out his staff ready to po-go travel you both "Yeah yeah I did actually he suggested it! Something about getting to used to each others fighting style or something"

You jumped on Mk back and held on as he started pogoing over the ocean honestly you wonder how he didn't get sick by doing this thankfully before you nearly lost your lunch Mk landed on a cliff that was near a little hut.

"I thought you'd have to go through a waterfall" Mk shrunk his staff and walked next to you "That's one way to come in but this entryway also has a seal it's just easier to land here po-go style"

Mk leads you to the front of the hut and then you could see Wukong the great sage underneath a tree eating a bunch of peach chips with crumbs covering his face and the top of his armor through mid bite he looks over at you two and smiled throwing the bag of chips behind him some little monkeys race to steal them.

"Hey bud! Looks like you got Mk 2.0 to join haven't seen you since the little after party" you deadpanned at the nickname "Yeah don't call me that please" Wukong shrugged "That's fair anyways why don't we warm up first before the training you know stretching and all that" Monkey king waved you two over to join him on the clearing.

"Sweet Lego!" Mk bounced over and you followed joining in on the stretches and warm-ups Wukong came over to help you adjust your posture but for a second he made a weird face somewhat annoyed and confused but he seemed to shake it off.

"Alllright so warm-ups done and- okay so uh kiddo" Wukong rubbed the bridge of his nose as he looks at you "I'm sorry but I can't focus with that...Stench Macaque what are you trying to pull now!??" Wukong growled while he seemed to stare at your shadow Mk jumped and stared at the same place.

"Awah you've gotten boring Wukong" a purple face appears in your shadow before Macaque rises up and smiled at his old old 'friend' Wukong's tail seems to flick on irritation.

"Whua!? What are you doing in their shadow huh!?" MK yelled pointing a finger at Macaque holding out his staff Wukong raises and eyebrow seemingly agreeing with those questions.

Macaque smiled and wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pulled you into a side hug "What I can't check in on MY own student? Especially if they're taking training lessons from you" MKs jaw dropped his eyes nearly jumping out of his skull as he slowly turned to stare at you.

"Um surprise?" You waved your hands with a nervous smile Wukong switches his gade from you to Macaque and over and over Mk managed to snap out of his shock "nuh uh no way I'm not gonna let you tick then like you did to me you jerk!" Wukong put his hand on MKs shoulder to stop him from storming over.

"Hold on Bud how's about I talk with Shadow guy for a bit while you chat with your sibling kay?" Mk thought for a moment and nodded Wukong smiled but immediately dropped it walking over and grabbed Macaque by the scarf and dragged him into his hut.

Mk then turned back to you hands on his hips you looked down not really knowing what to start this conversation with "So uh... you're having words with-" "OH WE ARE HAVING WORDS YOUNG ONE! ARE YOU SERIOUS-"

It took a long time especially since it seems Macaque and Wukong were also taking their time to 'chat' and it definitely took awhile to reassure Mk Macaque wasn't going to hurt you but it seems now everyone is all caught up and both Macaque and Wukong walked out of the hut.

Macaque sent a smile to you and looked to Mk gesturing him to follow while he walks into the cave Wukong gave Mk a nod and so he followed you were tempted to follow behind them but Wukong gently grabbed your shoulder "Give em a minute kid trust me"

Instead of just waiting around Wukong decided to see what Macaque taught you so far and had you fight a clone of him while he watches he made sure the clone holds back and about halfway through Mk and Macaque was back Mk ran to Wukong's side to cheer you on.

"Psh c'mon kid don't be scared to give him a good kick on the nose!" Macaque called out earning another glare from Monkey king.

You know those old TV movies about teens sneaking out and climbing out the window? They never show how damn difficult it is to do that the frame was digging into your skin as you slid out trying to keep as quiet as possible to not wake up your brother.

You'd think Macaque knowing you would have to sneak out he would teach you stealth first but unfortunately you were proven wrong on your first day of training.

But you put your complaints aside when you managed to climb down the metal stairs of the fire escape and walk out though the small ally it's extremely early in the morning still dark then a purple face appears in your shadow.

Then you fall through a portal your feet landing on the wooden floor boards Macaque always gives a small heads up when he does this since you gave him a ears full when he scared the soul out of you.

"Had fun crawling out of windows kiddo?" Macaque chuckled leaning on a wall with a half eaten mango you rolled your eyes of course he was watching "Couldn't you just portal me from my room?"

"I could but I don't think you'd like to break the news to your bro if he catches you sneaking through the window you can just say your sneaking to a secret partners place or just going out" well Macaque has a point.

"Now stop talking and get to stretching kid" and so the lesson begins Macaque guiding you with stretching and after he throws you your weapon a nearly exact replica of Macaques obviously not made of shadows.

"Alright where gonna be working on blocking today I'll attack you and you focus on only blocking it" you glance at your weapon then at Macaque with a brow raised.

"So you're just going to smack me around till I fall over?" Macaque laughed summoning his own weapon "Pretty much how c'mon reddy yourself cuz I'm only holding back a little"

"Yeah..." You sighed and fixed your hair Macaque pats your shoulder "But hey you're getting better! At least way better than when you started now put your staff on the weapon rack I got a little homework for you to do" You whined walking over to the weapons rack he always gives you 'homework' to do but it's just studying different fighting stances.

Macaque hands you a book "Read that but I also want you to get in the routine of stretching even if you don't plan on going out or fighting it helps by a mile okay" you turned the book to read the back of it a little and yep same homework as usual.

"Huh okay" Macaque looks at you with a brow raised "And I'll know if you have been or haven't so don't think you can lie got it" you rolled your eyes and nodded.

You once lied saying you did practice an exercise at home but Macaque immediately knew you didn't and made you do laps around the entire city.

•He actually liked them when you handed them to him he pushed at how cute they were and immediately posed them up on a little shelf.

•Sometimes you catch him playing with them even with the little monkeys.

•Perhaps in season 4 he used them as figures to map out the fighting plan.

•He also went out and found a small set to gift to you so now you both match!

MACAQUE:

•Genuinely thought you were joking when you gave them to him he studied each one while saying "pff you know I'm like centuries years old right? I grew out of dolls" but he didn't grow out of puppets it seems.

•If you're really sneaky and quiet you might catch him roleplaying with them and honestly it's quite a show.

•Whenever You're too busy to hangout he will hold one and smile when they remind him of you (dramatic ass)

•If you managed to get/make a custom one that looks exactly like him ooo he's genuinely flustered.

MK:

•He adores them he would get a small mini house for them on his desk and always rearranges them.

•Sometimes he draws and makes a 3D house out of paper as a house for them so they would have a change of scenery.

•He gives them names as well some may or may not be inspired by Monkey king since he's still a fan boy.

You have no idea how this happened tonight was supposed to be a movie night with your boyfriend maybe even get some nice takeout if you two couldn't come up with something to cook.

You knew he was ruthless in battle you've seen him fight the noodle boy and dragon horse girl but you had hope he would show you some mercy...

But the amount of force the pillow hit your face reminded you of who your dating and the force of the pillow pushes your head back making you fall back onto the cushions you hear your lovers victorious laugh.

"Why don't you keep down and take a nap dear because no way I'd allow you to be at me!" Redson laughed flicking the hair poof on his head with a smirk but of course you won't let your boyfriend hold this victory today!

Grabbing the pillow he threw at you you then snuck up behind him as he was boasting about beating you and jumped up to then slam the soft pillow on the top of his head but there was a slight error on your part...

His small horns created a hole in the pillow and the force of the pillow made it so it cut in half feathers then covered Redson's entire head and then he slowly turned his head to face you.

You pulled the half of the pillow you were holding to your chest with a nervous smile "Heh I thought they didn't make feather stuffed pillows anymore..." Redson took your half of the pillow and then tipped it upside down on your head making the rest of the feathers inside fall on top of your head.

"That's fair" You say and blow some of the feathers away from your mouth "No my love this is" immediately after he said that Redson pounced at you knocking you back onto to lounge again catching you in a hug the two of you fell into a fit of giggles.

With a free hand you double tap Redson's back in surrender "Okay okay I give I give!" Smiling Redson losses his hold on you and blew a raspberry onto your cheek "About time now stay there and let me order dinner" he sat up and took out his phone to prepare to order but paused at the sound of you laughing harder.

Turning to you he smiled and raised an eyebrow "Sorry sorry just- your hair!" You tried to explain and fell into another fit of laughter and snatched your phone from the table to take a photo.

He leaned over to see the photo you took his hair had a whole lot of feathers stuck on some even poking out he practically looked like a puffed up chicken immediately he patted his hair down pulling out as much of the artificial feathers as he can.

"Very funny I suppose this means I get to pick tonights dinner" immediately you paused your laughter and dramatically gasped "Wait nooo!" Redson finally pulled out the last feather that was stuck on the back of his neck "Hmm maybe I can get that dish you oooh so love~" he knew full well you hated that specific meal but he had to add in his own teasing a bit.

"Awah C'mon and here I thought I was the love of your life" you pretend to faint and fell onto Redson's shoulders he patted your hair and unlocked his phone and ordered your favorite dinner along with his own "while we wait for the food perhaps we should clean up?" He looks at the floor that was covered in features and the ripped pillow.

"Yeah maybe...still though who still makes pillows with feathers these are the bad plastic ones too!" He laughed at your rant and pulled a small feather off your head and began to pick up some of the feathers on the floor.

You helped too picking up some too and ones that got under the lounge you both put the features in a plastic garbage bag and tied it up and left it in the kitchen.

You both sat down on the lounge again and began waiting for the food to arrive Redson was about turn on the TV until he heard you spoke.

"I so won that"

Picnics were a favorite pass time for Wukong especially with you, he always brings your favorite foods though you had to talk to him about how you won't eat anything that was literally made from his fur which he found understandable.

You can't miss the big smile he has whenever he spots you walking over to him and his little set up.

"You finally made it! And here I thought you stood me up" He laughed while patting the spot next to him excitedly, laughing at his antics you join him as he opened the basket and held out one of your favorite foods to you.

"How could I dare do such a thing hm?" You joked with a smile before taking a bite and soon you both fell into a discussion about each other's day.

"But I finally decided to write a perfect training schedule for the kiddo and he gave me his work schedule so we can plan accordingly!" Wukong smiled, even though you were the one who gave him the idea.

"Really? And here I thought you couldn't read" You struggled to stifle a laugh when Wukong's face went from disbelief and fake offense "that is a misconception I'll have you know I can read and write! Quite well too!" Immediately you couldn't hold it in and bursted out laughing.

"So anyway! That's what I did today so what fantastic thing did you do hm?" Changing the topic Wukong leaned in close as he hummed while he slid over a bottle of water to you.

"Well today I got to try some tea from this new tea shop! I got this peach flavored one it was pretty good" Wukong hummed again nodding in approval "Of course I mean it's peaches! They're always going to be good like have you ever eaten one they're top fruit man!" He fist bumped the air while looking at the little monkeys that copied him.

You laugh at his rant before adding "No I haven't" Wukong stoped himself from going into another rant about how superior peaches were and he slowly turned his head back to you "you're pulling my tail aren't you?" You shook your head at his question.

"Nope no way no! no living being on this mountain should not ever suffer from never eating a peach!" Wukong summoned his nimbus and jumped on, quickly yelling a "be right back" before zooming off.

It didn't take long for Wukong to zoom back to the picnic with an armful of peaches he sat down Infront of you and dropped all the peaches onto your lap with a wide smile "Well? Go on go on try them!" His tail swayed in anticipation.

Humoring him you pick up a peach "Do I peel it?" You ask turning the peach in your hand Wukong raises an eyebrow for a second before connecting the dots "Oh right human stomaches and stuff...but yeah hold on lemme!" Taking the peach from your hand he plucked some fur from his head and turns it into a peeler.

He would use his claws but you'd probably find that unsanitary since he hasn't cleaned the dirt from his claws for a bit, but after peeling the peach and handing it back to you he ate the leftover peels and waited for you to take a bite.

Only with a little hesitation you finally did and you chewed for a bit before swallowing "Weeeell?" Wukong asked leaning in close to hear your opinion.

"hmm...it's good" Wukong laughed and jumped up in celebration "Let's gooo! Here I'll peel some more for you!"

SYNTAX:

A good friend of yours asked if you could babysit for them and of course being a friend you agreed but you forgot Syntax was going to come over to visit.

So when Syntax walked inside and was met with you and two kids he didn't know he was surprised to say the least "This far into our relationship and you didn't tell me you've had children?" He joked raising an eyebrow.

The two kids a girl around 7 and a boy 4 years old, the boy was sitting on your lap trying to take the TV remote while the girl just sat in the chair watching the cartoon.

"Instead of being an a- ahem a rude person can you help me for a sec" Syntax couldn't help but laugh at the near slip up and picked up the boy from crawling over you immediately they were distracted and asking syntax to play.

So to help you out he agreed and played a few games most of them the two kids made up on their own mostly inspired by actual games, smiling you turn off the TV and joined in.

It was starting to get to their bedtime so you started to make dinner while Syntax was answering the kids random questions while he and them sat at the kitchen table at some point he got curious about how bad he can lie with his answers.

"Why is your hair green?" The girl pointed at his hair "a frog jumped on my head and it made it turn green" he couldn't help but smile as the two kids gasped.

"Why are you purple?" The girl sat on her knees in the chair and leaned over the table Syntax glanced at you and smirked he leaned over and whispered "Y/n is a spooky witch and when I didn't eat their dinner they turned my skin purple" the two kids gasped.

You obviously hearing him immediately snapped your head to face him and glared, immediately he sat straight and chuckled a bit while the two children squealed and sat straight, well trying too.

At least they ate dinner and went to bed with no problems.

MAYOR:

"Make sure you put your toys away sweetie" you called out as you sat in the lounge room "I will" your six year old daughter called out from the hallway.

Usually 'I will' means 'Im going to forget about it' but the front door opens and your husband walks in the house "Listen to your mother dearest" Mayor chuckles and walks over to you giving you a kiss on the temple.

With a faint "Fine" you hear your daughter put away the blocks she had spread around the hall, though she put up a fuss about it cleaning the blocks up for here was quick and she ran back to the lounge room to give her dad a hug.

"See that wasn't any trouble for you was it dear?" Mayor smiled and picked up the girl as she giggled.

You smiled at the sight Mayor put her down on the couch next to you "What's for dinner?" She asked looking between you and her father, you thought for a moment and said "well I'm open to suggestions" not a second after your daughter jumped up.

"Ohoh! Can we have MacDonald's?" She asked, McDonald's were only for when she gets a award/good grades from school or a fortnight so you didn't hesitate to say "Nope".

But of course she turned to her dad and pulled her biggest puppy dog eyes "But please?" You can see the Mayor visibly consider it but you immediately shut it down with a quick glare.

"Sorry dear but you know the rules now I think we can have some delicious healthy vegetables" the Mayor smiled and strides to the kitchen while your daughter whined letting herself fall onto the couch her head leaning on your arm.

You can remember doing something similar to your parents to you give her a empathetic pat on the head.

MACAQUE:

Macaque wasn't good with children he has no idea what to do around them even holding off swearing is difficult for him, so when you had to take care of a friends two year old he awkwardly sat next to you as you tried to entertain him.

Unfortunately for Macaque the toddler was really curious about him but you can't blame him through not every kid sees a humanoid monkey demon.

Macaque was a little confused, worried and a little impressed with the lengths this kid is going to try and stumble over to him but you kept dragging the boy back knowing Macaque is a bit uncomfortable around kids.

But kids are slippery and the kid managed to crawl away from you stand up and bolted over to Macaque, he didn't really mind since he thought it was hilarious that a two year old gave you the slip.

'Maybe human kids aren't that different from the infants at flower fruit mountain' he thought as the kid poked at his fur on the side of his head.

After assuring you it's fine you quickly went out for a second to get some food ready for the toddler, Macaque was alright entertaining the kid all he had to do was let the kiddo run around in circles trying to catch his tail.

Funny enough the little guy grabbed it and had a little victory laugh which also made Macaque laugh using his tail he wrapped it around the kids waist and picked him up making the kid laugh more.

"Oh you like that? What about this?" Macaque turned the kid upsidedown making him squeal and laugh even more Macaque let out an amused huff.

But you walked back in the room seeing Macaque holding a two year old upsidedown "Macaque you can't hold a kid like that the blood will get to his head!" "Whaat? The kids fine he's having a blast" but as soon as you gave him the glare he gently put the kid down.

He made a note though! Don't hold human toddlers upsidedown too long.

Chapter Text

MK and Mei hosted a get together this week it was a annual thing they did to have a fun time with everyone, slowly more people got invited after events well more like MK befriended them or got in good enough terms.

You weren't a social person but you decided to try and step out of your comfort zone for a bit who knows maybe you'll have a good time!

It was an hour into the night.

And you weren't having a good time.

Not that you wasn't enjoying the company of your friends but it was crowded the music was loud and it was getting really hot, the food and drinks were okay though.

Mei ran off to make a list of karaoke requests and ran around the bar to ask everyone if they had a song request, not wanting to get caught up in that you taped MKs shoulder "Hey I'm gonna head out for a breather okay?" Mk nodded in understanding.

"Want someone to go with you?" You shook your head and got up, grabbing your bag you headed outside of the bar for a bit surprisingly the smoking area was empty you can guess everyone is enjoying the night inside.

Finding a seat away from the doors you sat down and digged through your bag, you made a small promise to Pigsy to try and cut back on smoking but right now you felt like you needed it.

After a bit you fell into a comfortable silence at least it wasn't so cold tonight, but you nearly dropped the lit cigarette after you jumped seeing a silhouette on the chair next to you.

"Woah careful you might fall of your chair" The silhouette chuckled, Macaque.

"Well can't blame me you creepy ass, I didn't think you'd come" Macaque smiled and lazily leaned back into the chair "Eh had some free time and thought I'd be a super cool mentor and accept the kids invite, but what about you?" He made a small gesture to the doors before adding "Aren't you gonna party? Heard the dragon got everyone up and singing."

You shrugged "Just needed some fresh air" Macaque let out a small hum "Well this is the opposite of fresh air don't you think?" He pointed to the cigarette between your fingers "I thought you quit."

"I didn't 'quit' I said I'd cut down on it" He only raised an eyebrow at your attempt of a defense but he let the topic drop "So you not gonna go on stage?" You couldn't see inside of the bar but you can hear Tangs attempt at singing a duet with Pigsy no doubt Mei will record it.

"Hm nah I'd rather the only thing to hear me sing is my isolated kitchen and shower" Macaque snickered a bit "Aw you wouldn't make an acception for lil ol' me?" He poked his own cheek giving a small wink.

"Aren't you the most theatrical person here? Why don't you get on stage?" You take a quick hit of your smoke turning away to blow so the smoke wouldn't get in Macaque's face "Hey I'm a story teller not a singer and even if I was I doubt I'd last long on that stage" he pointed to his ears.

"Ah right but isn't singing a form of storytelling?" Now it's your turn to smirk and you lean towards Macaque.

"Ah but it can often leave out many details and I am all about details" you both laugh for a bit "Hey want a drink?" Macaque offered but you shook your head and leaned back to your seat "No thanks had my fill tonight" He nodded and pulled out his own drink from whatever portal he made.

You both sat in silence Macaque occasionally sipping his drink while you took a huff while turning away from him to let out the excess smoke "Hey I'm going to be having another shadow play again wanna watch my brilliant show?" Macaque smiled and confidently puffed out his chest.

"Really? They still let you perform shows after your whole stunt with Mk?" From what you remember so much property was destroyed even the stage, you would have thought he got banned "Pf of course! I fixed the place...after I got back and I'm the best they got, they're lucky to have me 'work' there" in his laugher Macaque almost spilled his drink thankfully he only spilled some over his hand.

Shrugging you agreed "Sure I'm curious on what you'll come up with" you glanced at Macaque as he was licking the liquor off his hand.

He smiled, whipping his hand on his clothes he took quick sip of his drink and leaned towards you moving his chair closer to yours "Then I'll make sure to reserve a special seat just for you~" you put out your cigarette in the ashtray with a smile "Oh? I'm special now~"

Macaque winked again "Of course, and since you're so special I'll start preparing the show for an earlier day for such a special person!" he jumped out of his chair abandoning his half finished drink on the table and turned to you "But how about a gift for the road huh?"

Macaque points to his lips with a smirk, you let out a laugh you signal him to come closer to which he did and pulled him into a kiss.

It was short but to the point both of you pulling away he smiled letting his finger trace your lips "That was great...'cept next time I don't think tobacco suits those lips" standing back up straight Macaque fell through the portal underneath his feet.

You continued to sit outside for a bit with a smile before deciding to join the party again, standing up you took the pack of cigarettes form your bag and placed it onto the table for whatever lucky person to find them, you take the drink Macaque previously abandoned and walked back inside.

Chapter Text

Redson asked if you'd like to spend the night at his house of course in the moment you agreed without any thought I mean you do get along well with his parents but you forgot your...unfortunate circumstance.

You were going to tell him soon but soon just became sooner than you thought.

You kept three alarms for when it's going to happen one is set an hour and a half second for one hour and third is half an hour until your transformation, you can't be too careful.

It was well after dinner you and Redson were getting ready for bed in his room, you were brushing your teeth while Redson sat upright on the bed finishing up on the last detail on his schedule this week.

Your phone was on the table next to him and the first alarm went off the name of it was 'an hour and a half till it starts' very simple, he assumed it was a reminder for a show or movie you planned to watch.

When you walked out of the bathroom he informed you "Ah your alarm went off dear" it took you a second to realize and immediately you remembered you haven't gotten around telling Redson about the curse.

"Oh uh so Red there's something I should actually tell you" noticing how nervous you suddenly got Immediately he turned off his own devices to give you his full attention, you take a seat next to him on the bed.

And then you begin to explain at first you tried to sugar coat it but then the more you talked the more you began to ramble and then you started spiraling hoping he wasn't upset you haven't told him earlier.

Noticing your spiral Redson gently placed his hand on your shoulder "Dear it's okay something like this could be a sensitive topic, I may not know the origin of this curse but I'm not upset if I was that would be idiotic" a smile crept onto your face.

You put your hand on top of his just as you were about to speak your alarm went off again 'an hour' short and to the point honestly you didn't bother to come up with proper names for them.

Redson leaned towards the bedside table to grab your phone and handed it to you, you put your alarm on snooze "Thanks though...I kinda expected more of a reaction though" Red laughed "Please you forget I'm a demon seeing people with all kinds of curses are just a daily thing I see."

You nodded and both of you sat in comfortable silence, Red though looked like he had something on his mind after a bit "Something wrong?" He gave you a comforting smile.

"No I was just thinking is there anything you need? Like a bird hammock?" Surprised at the question you just burst into laughter Red joining in "No no I'll be fine I'll just chill on the table and wait it out."

Then Redson asked a few more questions, how long do you stay transformed? Are you sure you don't need any items to make it more comfortable? Will you need something to eat? Should he make you a nest?

You answered each question and by then end of it Redson gave a final nod like he was making the final note in his head "Okay then, tomorrow I'll look into finding a cure" with a small laugh you placed your hand on his cheek.

"I won't stop you but don't let it be your main focus okay? It's just a small inconvenience" placing a hand over yours as he pushed himself into your hand he nods "very well dear."

Finally Redson removed his glasses and put his hair down you stayed sitting up your last alarm going off but immediately you set it to snooze as Red got under the blankets "Won't you be laying down?" You shook your head "Tried that once trust me staying above while transforming is better."

You expected Redson to fall asleep after that but he stayed awake reading from a book he kept on the table choosing not to comment any further you both wait not too long when Redson glanced away from you for a split second the flash of light though immediately got his attention and he shut the book as he looked over.

And he saw you, a small songbird he set the book away as he continued to stare amazed you hopped in place for a bit but flew over to his free hand as he admired your feathers.

He smiled "Still as beautiful like you always are" he set your pillow flat so you can have a soft surface to sleep you give him a small chitter of tweets and flew to the pillow you hopped for a bit again and got comfortable.

Redson turned off the lights and laid down.

"I'll see you tomorrow my dear, Sweet dreams."
